also shadow uses multiple pronouns he/xe/ze/she
so leafpool loses the trial - BUT INSTEAD of getting kicked out, she gets thrown into the tunnels in the form of a monster/mutated thing (thinking of making her look more like a starclan cat then the rest because. if she looks like the only sane on there, shadow´s more likely to trust her [also because i say so this is my shit AU])
in the tunnels, any cat that comes from starclan, was murdered as a ghost, or was essentially supposed to be a dark forest cat but oh well was sent down into the tunnels (hollyleaf [ill explain], ashfur, leafpool, antpelt, ravenpaw, spottedleaf, tigerclawstar, hawkfrost etc) and was memory wiped (except for leafpool [because leafpool was supposed to 'live with her sins' or whatever] and ashfur [dunno why it's just kinda funny man lol starclan was just like 'okie what do we do with this shit-man' and forgor it was amazing]) and became mutated/a beast/modified/or some shit
Note: leafpool and ashfur can CONTROL who to give their memories back to
now, these tunnels connect ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL OVER THE PLACE, and shadowkit (poor baby) got trapped in the tunnels at one point, and guess what he fooound??? :DDD ANTPELT!!! A HORRIFYING, HORRIFYING, ANTPELT WITH A WEIRD FUCK ASS ANT-LIKE HEAD!!! :DDD
antpelt comforted shadow and played with xem until he sensed leafpool coming near and tried getting shadow to leave but then leafpool came up behind shadow, greeted him, talked with him, and after a bit leaf pool sensed tigerheartstar's patrol entering the tunnels so she ushered him off and told him to 'visit another time!'
and he did. he visited every other day, and met all of the cats down there (he hates hollyleaf because she's a dick) Ze felt bad for them, being trapped there as spirits, not being able to remember anything (ze's in for a bit of a surprise with leafy and ashy) and leafpool decides to strike a deal with xem; xe can get away from his clan here, BUT he has to try and cure them and help leafpool build a group or society of sorts (relevant for later)
