HEY I NEED EVERYONE TO READ THIS.
I dont blame you if you were a Wilbur fan, and you shouldn't blame yourself either. You had no way of knowing, you were not holding Wilbur's hand as he did the things he did.
Do not blame yourself for loving something. It's not your fault it was rotten

Bruce: Has anyone seen Damian?
Dick: I think he was going to go somewhere with Jon and Billy.
Bruce: Oh, okay.
Jason: Pretty sure they were going to an art museum.
Tim: Why would they do something like that?
Meanwhile
Jon: You know, the Mona Lisa is smaller than I thought it’d be.
Billy, looking at an enormous painting on the other wall: How does someone even paint something that big?
Damian: Oh, we’re definitely going to the Sistine Chapel next.
Jon: Ooh, and then we can get pizza.
Billy: And gelato.
Damian: Obviously.
Meanwhile, back in Gotham
Dick: Wait, does someone need to go pick the boys up from the museum?
Bruce: Damian just texted and said they’re going for pizza.
Tim: You know, that’s much more what I would have expected from them.
Jason: Look, just because YOU are a little uncultured piece of-

Steady as she goes, nature has finally caught up
War.
A seemingly inescapable aspect of any civilization. Perhaps even a prerequisite for it.
It was as sudden as it was inevitable. The United Federation utilized certain ideas introduced and executed by Humanity to their logical continuation. Their horrendous Battle Moon - an actual, small moon converted into a semi-moveable, heavily shielded, and maximally armed military installation, with a military-civilian population in the hundreds of thousands.
They used it as a torpedo.
Knowing that the Death Kebab was directly inspired by their own creation, itself a product of fear and need for control, the Federation strapped a few massive hyperdrives instead of the much easier to produce several hundred standard-sized ones to ease the computational synchronization, and using the Hyperbreak technique, they jumped into the middle of Death Kebab's main rail gun. An impressive feat of precision.
Almost as impressive as the ensuing destruction.
How do you even relay when the mass of an entire planetoid suddenly appears in the middle of three slightly larger moons strapped together? The grotesque expansion from within, quickly followed by massive cracks in the crust, an expulsion of the mantle and finally, the explosions.
One faulty first generation Human True Fusion Reactor from 700 years ago created a 200km massive hole in the Earth. Only one of the moons reached that in diameter.
These were hundreds of military grade reactors powering a gun that can obliterate small planets in one shot.
Seven failed to engage their failsafes in time.
There was nothing left.
Nothing, but a cloud of searing ash where four moons and hundreds of ships and thousands of crew used to be.
Humanity was thrust into war.
And they looked excited.
Of course, they mourned the dead, and were rightfully enraged, but there was a glint in the Grand Admiral's eye.
"The Federation really surprised us here. Fooled our intelligence operatives outright. We were not expecting them to act for at least another year, certainly not sacrifice their precious Battle Moon.
Now, we knew they'd target the Death Kebab sooner or later. Truth be told, that's partly why it was built. Sure, it was a fine strategic asset, far from our most important ones though, but as a symbolic one it was priceless. Biggest weapon in the known Galaxy! Who wouldn't be tempted by the glory of taking it down.
I say let them. They want to rule through fear and power, and Humanity, or "upstarts" as they call us behind closed doors, provided a perfect boogeyman to scare the masses into obedience. We have our own history with regimes like that. Personally, not a fan.
The Federation is large, powerful, foreign, and far from Earth, but, well, my ancestors were never stopped by such things. In fact, expansion at great risk is what we're great at.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a Retribution Fleet to assemble."

[Endgame Spoilers]
If there is one thing that Penny knows from all of her years of hacking, its that computers can never replicate things perfectly.
Its never perfect. Simulations never account for every possibility. Answers have a chance of being incorrect. You can always hack something, nothing is foolproof. Everything is capable of glinting, breaking, having faulty code. No human or Pokémon could ever create something that sophisticated. No one could ever create an accurate AI. Something would always go wrong.
The professor was no exception.
Their AI copy looked like them, talked like them, and performed their tasks without issue. Penny begrudgingly gave them credit for that fact. However, the professor misunderstood one fact about computers that Penny has known for years. Computers do not understand emotion.
At least, not initially.
Humans feel the emotions they feel in the moment. That emotion will be connected to that memory for the rest of that human's life, and it likely won't change. A computer does not have that. If given a recreated set of memories to reference, the computer could easily interpret things differently, as there is no preconceived emotion attached to the memory; the AI could easily gain an emotion through the memories that was not present in the original set.
Arven rarely talked about his childhood. Penny didn't blame him; after all, she rarely talked about her's. But, from what Arevn had mentioned during that spiraling trek downwards, she gathered that he saw his parents slightly more during his childhood. His parent, all other times, was busy with work.
Penny knew how computers worked. She knew how computers viewed situations. She knew that the AI would see the memories of research and busy work and scientific tests as the norm. There was nothing remarkable about the act of research for an AI. But Arven, Arven would of been something different. Something new, that would of made the AI question things the hours of research never could. Arven would of become something to cherish, something to...
....It didn't surprise Penny that the AI came to love Arven as it's child. She could only hope, for Arven's sake, that it's parental love was not one of the AI's miscalculations.

I'm really hoping the Rich People Environment of Canto 6 is good for the Heathcliff/Hong Lu dynamic. Not even in a shippy sort of way, they're positioned pretty dynamically as opposites (Heathcliff is from the Backstreets brought to riches, is intensely cynical, is foul mouthed as hell, and is driven primarily by negative impulses like anger, spite and envy, Hong Lu was born rich, is hopelessly naive, never seems to swear harder than a 'golly' or 'gosh', and moves through the world with a constant state of wonder and optimism). It'd be interesting to see if Hong Lu gets some interesting pieces of development inside Wuthering Heights itself.

“You guys yell "spring break" as you're on fire.”
[ID: Art of a scene from Dimension 20: Live. Fabian, Riz and Gorgug run down a hill, with the words “Spring Break!” above them. Fabian is a  young half-elf, with white hair and a black tank top and joggers. He has a sparkling blanket tied around him like a cape, and a small ball of fire above his chest. Next is Riz, a goblin dressed in a waistcoat and newsboy cap, wielding a briefcase as he follows Fabian. After them is Gorgug, a half-orc in a hoodie and purple trousers, holding a large axe. Riz and Gorgug are covered in soot, and smoke trails after them.]

Okay, I know the answer to this is most likely "no", but I'm still curious, so: Have you ever killed anyone, Keeper? This can include characters from AUs, those without AUs, humans such as myself, and the creators of the very AUs you watch over.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But wait ! There is more...
Tumblr media
...
This happened long ago...
Let's hope she doesn't have to fight any more than that one time !
Artist note :
You asked a very good question anon
No, Keeper never actually killed, she doesn't get out of her space even, how could she ? That is against everything she stands for after all. But she still can hurt others... although she never wishes to

i'm not even really part of these fandoms but you've inspired me somehow
Mike asks Larry for advice one day about dealing with sentient attractions, and Larry explains the checklist and getting along with the exhibits and making sure their needs are met, and Mike just stares at him. Like, "What do you mean they stopped trying to kill you?"
"What do you mean?"
And Mike explains more about what goes on and one night when Larry has the night off he goes with Mike to work and helps him figure things out with the animitronics.
He goes back to the museum the next night and the minis take one look at him and go, "You were with some other attractions last night, weren't ya?"
Now this is peak comedy.
Everyone at the museum just jealous that Larry spent a night with different attractions then them? Gold. Really, I honestly think that Larry could get through to the animatronics. Because Larry has something that Mike doesn’t. Social skills.
Are they limited? Yes, for sure. Still, they’re better than Mike’s. And since he know what it’s like to be around magical and dangerous things, I could imagine this could be a piece of cake! A challenge, for sure. It depends on which lore we’re going with. The movie or the games, but with time and care, I think the animatronics would like Larry.
I can just imagine him reading them all a bedtime story, under blankets and shit. And Mike is just— astounded.
“How the fuck did you do that.”
“What do you mean?”
“Wha— they listen to you!”
“Mike, they’re children. You gotta treat them as such. You can’t just expect a child to trust a big, scary stranger. You need to gain their trust. That’s how I did it.”
And Mike just stands there, stunned still.
Man— someone should write this.

I really don't get the hate for Yeona Sin (Mercenary Enrollment). Or maybe I do, actually.
So Yeona has a massive crush on Ijin and tries to hang out with him as much as possible. It's not a crime to have a crush on the main character. The story doesn't suffer because she likes Ijin.
"but I don't want any romance :((( I hope he rejects her"
The story won't swap genres and become a romance if Ijin reciprocates her feelings. No one will be deprived of their weekly ass-kicking if Yeona watches Ijin during bodyguard practice. Ijin is single and not seeing anyone, so she's within her rights to pursue him.
Besides, Yeona's crush on Ijin is not her only character trait??? I feel like people who think she's annoying completely forget her actions in the early chapters.
She was kidnapped and made good on her threat to bite her own tongue and bleed to death on behalf of Ijin's sister. Not because she liked Ijin, but because she put Daehyeon's life before her own. What part of that makes her annoying??
It was irritating at the time, but she probed into Ijin's history because she was concerned Daehyeon was living with a stranger who could hurt her. She used her resources to ensure her friend was safe.
Being genuine and open with your emotions is not a flaw. Being an open book is not a flaw. Being kind and nice to people of lesser status doesn't make her irritating.
People say she lacks assertion, but I think you have to be pretty assertive to insert yourself into a group of gamer bros. Sure, people who do that irl can be tiresome, but she can throw her weight around when she feels like it. She may silently endure a lot of trash talk, but she's not a total pushover.
You can agree that Yeona was handed everything on a silver platter while her cousins had to fight to gain SW assets. You can even agree Yeona's not fit to lead SW.
But Yeona already knows this?? She doesn't want to lead SW. It's not her passion like it's Jiye's passion. That's why she handed over her stakes. She's not at fault for being a teenager and wanting to act like one.
I especially don't understand the people who side with Jiye. We all read that part where Jiye expressed that she wanted Yeona to die, right? Jiye not liking her cousin is one thing, but wishing death upon a child in your own family just because that child has something you want is plainly evil.
Besides, Yeona's been emotionally manipulated her entire life? Her cousin treated her like a business pawn and threatened to harm the people she cared about if she didn't comply. What way did she have to break out of that? Suddenly, people don't like a victim of abuse who feels helpless to save herself, just because she crushes on the MC.
Yeona has assertiveness. She has mental fortitude. She protects her friends, even if it means giving up what she wants or her own safety. She wears her heart on her sleeve. She's not annoying or shallow or boring.
Some people just can't stand to see an emotional female in their little power fantasy.

scents of you
yknow i love a totally healthy enid like the next person, but have this lovely idea of Enid getting used to blood for different reasons
give me an au where Wednesday couldnt keep contact during break and Enid starts feeling that good ol seperation anxiety. Its not really her fault, she’s just gotten so used to Wednesday being with her for most of her time and the recent shift definitely didn’t help. Not to mention that her room smells so alone, nothing of stained leather or tang of metal and it is nothing like she is used too.
so like a dog, she tears at the wall, digs at the wood of her bedframe and even when she goes and gets black things for the opposite side of her room in an attempt to try and recreate her dorm room, it is all for naught because a part of her will always know that it is not the same. That is until, a familiar sting of iron hits her nose. When Enid rushes to the kitchen, pushing aside the plastic curtains with excitement.
Sadly, its not Wednesday that greets her but the fresh carcass, recently stripped by her concerned father
Theres a churning in her stomach, she isnt the best with gore and just seeing something so red has her feeling faint headed but the smell- oh gods the smell, it has Enid nearly howling in relief at such a familiar scent. Its stronger yes and its missing the bitter tang of ink but its close enough that it has Enid’s body relaxing as she steps close.
Murray, knowing how sensitive his daughter is tries to usher her out but Enid stops him with a shaky hand, unwilling to let go of this new discovery.
“let me help,” she says and Enid now has a new hobby over break. If she comes back to school, a bag filled with bones and skulls that she carefully cleaned herself then thats only for her and Wednesday to know
and well, if she ever needs to dispose a body... hopefully Wednesday appreciates the help

I am so excited to see Laudna separated from Imogen. Last time, they were separated by death and we got to focus on Imogen and her grief. This time, Imogen might still be stressed but thankful that Laudna is at least still alive. We'll hopefully get to see Laudna in her most serious state, given who she's with. Orym and Ashton are the two party members that Laudna has had serious conversations with outside of Imogen. They won't let her mask her fear and she might not feel the need to push down her feelings around them. She'll have to confront how she feels about being separated from Imogen and who she is when Imogen isn't around. Will she let Orym and Ashton comfort her? Will she confide in them? Will she express herself in the time that they're all separated? Who knows! I'm just excited to see her go on that emotional journey.
