I need to know if I'm either the slowest person and this was the whole point or if I'm just crazy but-

Bobby lost a daughter and a son. I think the show is supposed to have May and Henry fill those roles, but I think it's Buck and Hen.

It's just one scene that is so specific to this idea but it's the scene when Buck and Hen save him from his addiction. You have this man falling apart because he lost his family, he lost a son and a daughter, only to saved by his team members, his family.

On top of all of that, there is no denying that Buck is Bobby's son, and that Hen and Buck are siblings.

Long story short I have many emotions about this family and I love them all so very much.

Can someone explain please? Why are people suddenly getting upset about Athena being considered Buck's mother?

In one episode May even tells Bobby "Mom brought two kids into the marriage... You brought one." talking about Buck

So if even May considers Buck to be Bobby's son... And Bobby is married to Athena... Then what's the problem???

As the girl with the Buddie fanfic masterlist I need a story where Eddie just....walks away.

I need a fanfic where it's summer vacation, and Buck ignored Eddie and Chris again because of his new relationship but this time it's worse because Tommy is truly a good couple and Eddie can't complain about it, he can't tell Buck the truth, that seeing him with another man is worse than going to war.

So he just grabs Chris, tells Bobby he needs some time, just a break, and his captain understands and lets him go to a house one of Eddie's relatives has somewhere far away in Texas.

911 on ABC has the chance to do one of the funniest things in TV.

Check this: Buck is injured trying to save Bobby & Athena and goes to the hospital. Eddie realizes that Buck was already traumatized by the Tsunami and went into the water to save them anyway. Eddie says it should have been him out there in the water trying to save them.

Buck is about to get discharged from the hospital and pulls Eddie aside. He sits him down and says:

I love Buddie as much as the best person but can we talk about Buck's relationship with the others in the 118? Specifically Bobby.

I know the fandom (and the show) joke that Buck is Bobby's kid, but I truly believe that.

Obviously not biologically or anything but in heart and soul they are father and son.

So a father is someone who is (supposed to) love you unconditionally. Know your flaws, tell you when you have done wrong, and help you fix them and become a better person. That is exactly Bobby did for Buck. I'm currently re-watching season one, and even as early as the first season you can see this.

Not only does Bobby help Buck grow and heal, he truly loves that man like his son. You can see it in the way he looked at him when he does something either really stupid or really good.

I say all this to say, when I watched 6x10, when Buck gets hit by lighting, the first thing I noticed was Bobby's reaction. Not Eddie's. (Which was just as heartbreaking) I was crying as I watched a man who had already lost two kids, carry the limp body of his son. That's what got me that episode.

There is something so comforting with their relationship. Seeing someone who comes from a family devoid of love (minus Maddie of course) and another who lost everything, come together and fill the role in eachother's lives that they needed the most in able to heal.
