2022 dec 29 // I liked the idea of this year long commitment to keep a planner/diary, just undemanding paper play, collageing the weekly pages and having fun.

Thankfully my planner of 2022 didn’t die the book death, and ended up on a bookshelf collecting dust (as the book of 2021 did after about 6 months) even though I haven’t had much time for paper play since october. But I did continue entering my daily notes, and so this planner WILL be completed by the end of this year (just not as decoratively as I had hoped.)

So I will try again, with a new book of 2023. Considering that both Summer and Autumn comes with less time for paper play, I decided to start with an empty book. Instead of having pages to fill every week, I will enter pages to the book whenever I have time.

Well… the book is actually a binder, in A5 landscape format.

I don’t want to be concerned about a limited space for pages in a book so I chose this binder with its lever arch mechanism that can hold up to almost 700 pages! In this binder I will collect my diary notes (most likely printed from my phone), ideas, paper crafts and collages, commonplace book, and memorabilia.

every fall i buy a planner for next year and first i was just buying blank notebooks and making the whole planner myself which, i super hated doing, because it just took so long. so for this year's planner i splurged on the much more disgustingly expensive (like, no one should really pay this much for a planner, BUT it saves me from doing all the work. and it's got all the space i want!) actual legit planner and have been so pleased with it i got another one for next year, and it came today and one of the design options was. hello kitty. and believe me when i say this is the sweetest fucking planner in the whole entire world she is so goddamn cute!!!!!!!
