.... what you don't know, (and me either tbh, we never got that 'explanation' from the inventor himself), is that donnie made it with your specs in mind.

geckos are able to climb vertical surfaces (with some exceptions of course, but for the most part !!) — when activated, those little "putty bands" would've aided in that.

because donnie knows how much you love to run around, especially climbing up the walls, but you can't stick up there forever.

was it made to simultaneously slow your ass down? yes. 🤣😭

(he's only one man what do you want from the poor guy ☠✋ your drive by's were enough to send him into cardiac arrest every time)

...... was it made to adhere to nearly any and every surface texture known to man & mutant kind? for an unprecedented amount of time? with the intentions of you having so much fun with it? also yes.

was it made with intricate care and with, overall, your best interests at heart?

yes.

but after the whole ordeal, he really did mean it when he says you're great just the way you are. :))

in your calmer moments, he likes to have you wrap around his shoulders like a fashion designer scarf and taps at your cute little tail, half as a stim, half as a gesture of affection, while he's in the lab focusing on his latest project

or even just. vibing. y'all are primetime vibey.

he finds your weight comforting. like a tiny weighted pillow.

and he'll never admit that he feels his heart nearly burst with love and pure fondness when you yourself happily curl up into your brother and fall asleep there, cooing softly into his ear.

he built a little comfort bed/pillow extension for you in his battle shell for such occasions <3

but he prefers the sibling cuddles without his shell on.

he trusts you, after all.

is exceptionally good at matching all of your moods: your bubbly hyperactivity and bringing you to a calmer, serene state !!

how does he do it. 🧍

he catches you in his arms and strokes/scratches your back to calm you down, and it works like a charm every time !

he never has to use dr. delicate touch on you. despite being the closest in age, surprisingly, you listen to mikey very well !

call it survivor's intuition 🫠 orrrr just the fact that you and mikey are very close and in-tune with one another,

whenever he calls it quits for you - no matter how much you might whine and pout - you genuinely do tone it down.

i know i said this for leo too but i feel like mikey just has that magic touch. yenno?

y'all deffo get roped together being the "babies" of the family,

Hobie never expected in his life that he would be in this predicament. Here he was, sitting alongside Gwen as she eagerly ranted to him about her 'older sister' being in this dance. She spent about two days convincing Hobie to go with her, saying that he would be supporting an aspiring artist. "It's about to start!" Gwen cheered silently, clapping her hands quickly before pointing to the red curtains ascending upwards. "There she is!" Gwen whispered as she pointed towards your flexed form, spine curving upward as your back leg extended out behind you as your arms create a sleek invisible line between the tips of your fingers and the bottom of your toes.

He was absolutely enchanted. He had never seen someone make ballet look so sacred in his eyes, brushing off the silly dance as a bunch of jumps and turns. He watched as you slowly began to break free from your frozen stance, moving with such calculated precision and absolute elegance. It was like he was watching the performance through a tunnel, eyes glued on you and you only as you pirouetted with such grace it put every princess in the world to absolute shame. He had heard from Gwen first-hand just how painful it was to do ballet, but watching you twist and turn on the very tips of your toes put everything into perspective. In his mind, you were a precious dove ghosting the surface of the water with your pretty pink pointe shoes.

"Gwendy, you said this's one of your mates, right?" He asked, eyes still absolutely glued to you. Gwen gave him an overjoyed nod, clearly biting back the loudest scream of approval she's ever given. "Introduce me later, yea?" He mumbled as he watched you shoot Gwen a rather smooth wave, disguising it within your movements to not stray from your routine...Man, you were good. You looked absolutely bewitching as your melanated skin shone under the spotlight, your movements remaining soft and delicate whilst carrying yourself with such poise. If Gwen would've told Hobie about you earlier he would've bought the damn tickets himself.

When up on that stage, you always felt free and liberated. You spent all of your life in a studio, accepting every drop of boiling-hot criticism with cupped palms, watching as it burned and seared your skin and leave its metaphorical mark that manifested in the form of experience. You incorporated the elegant style of dance into your everyday life, weaving the very threads of its history into your personality and wearing it like a proud necklace. For you, dancing was your very being. You spent countless nights banging shoes on your walls, patching up your battered and bruised legs countless times until only a ghost of feeling remained in the tips of your toes. You've learned to crawl, then stumble, then walk, run, and finally jump all in the span of over 10+ years.

You followed the inaudible signals in the ever-so-soothing piano, utilizing the cues that you had ingrained into the back of your mind as you assumed each and every position and pose. You were in a fuck ton of pain, and you were out of breath, but what's a little bit of hurt compared to a dream 10 years in the making? When the curtains finally closed after everyone took their final bow, the roaring applause made everything worth every single twinge of pain. You eagerly ran off the stage, enveloping Gwen in a tight hug as she introduced you to the incredibly tall and lanky man next to her. The clash between the two of you was starkly obvious, with you being dressed in shades of pink, ivory, and soft beiges that complimented every aspect of your outfit.

"'Ey there, I'm 'Obie" he stated as he gave me a small smile, extending his hand towards me gently, to which I gladly accept. Truth be told, I didn't understand half of a fuck of what he just said. I pulled a smile and nod and used context clues to fill in the gaps. "That's a nice accent...where you from?" you asked with a warm smile. He gives a light chuckle before answering with a small "East London. You were really great out there, by the way. Kick n' prance queen!"

"Thank you! You should drop by my studio sometime, you can watch me and Gwen practice for future shows or just for funsies!" I exclaim with a light giggle. I scanned over Hobie, making a mental note of his rough and sharp look that contrasted with my very being. He reminded me of a black swan, gorgeous and elegant in his own way, but almost twice as intimidating. I wouldn't be lying if I said I truly loved the difference in our aesthetics.

"I tried, but he says that he doesn't-" Gwen begins, with Hobie quickly silencing her by just straight up grabbing her mouth. "Yea, I'd like that. I'll see you la'er then!" He grins as he slowly drags Gwen away, giving you a small wave and a goofy grin as I disappear backstage to change into some normal clothes and deconstruct my makeup.

"You didn't tell me that was the gyaldem you ran wif" Hobie chuckled as he shot Gwen a playful glare. "Well, I TRIED. But you started going on about how you," She dropped her voice an octave, linking a synthetic British accent to her every word. "Don't believe in paying to watch performances!" She teased. Hobie only rolled his eyes, pretending to brush off the matter. But in reality, he couldn't wait to see you again and watch you dance in all your glory.

"So...when's she dancing again?"

“Y/n you look stunning.”

I zip my head back and forth, trying to keep up with the flashes. I am attending my first fashion show back after a long break from Fashion. I couldn’t be more nervous.

“Y/n walk this way” my assistant directs me to a spot on the carpet where I will be getting interviewed.

“So, Y/n, how does it feel to be only freshly 20 years old and such a huge part of the fashion industry.” The reporter asks me. I don’t bother to learn any reporters’ names. All they do is spread lies and feed off what I say.

“It is such an amazing opportunity. If you would have told me I would have this much on an impact 2 years ago, I would have thought you were crazy.” I fake laugh. Every interview they ask the same questions and I give the same answers.

“Well with your 10-month break, do you ave anything planed that is happening soon?” the reporter asks, trying to get info out of me.

“Nope. I have been trying to focus on myself and well-being” I say sincerely. This break has been heaven for me. I have finally got a full night sleep for the first time in 2 years. Being in the industry too young can really drain a person.

“Well, any new boo to talk about. I have heard you and Mason Mount have been getting close.” The reporter pushes as she tries to get her next biggest headline out of me.

“No.” I laugh. “No new ‘boo’ to talk about. I am strictly single and have been for a long time. Mason and I are strictly friends and have been for the past year.” I say as I try to leave.

“It was so nice talking to you” I say as I turn around and leave. I don’t care if that was rude.

My assistant leads to me where I would be sitting. I sit down in my seat; she hands me my phone so I can kill time. I’m not a big social person, I have maybe a couple of friends and my family. That’s all I need in life.

In the corner I see two people walking up to me. When I think they are about to start talking to me they sit down and get situated in their seats. I Look to my left and see this gorgeous man sitting next to me.

He is wearing a LV matching outfit with no shirt underneath and a strange looking bandana with it. It doesn’t match that well, but I don’t have the heart to tell him.

He must have felt me staring at him, so he turned to look in my direction.

“Hello, I’m Jude and this is my brother Jobe.” He says while pointing to his brother and waving. Who I assume to be Jobe waves his hand.

“Nice to meet you” he says.

“Likewise,” I say while returning to my phone. I just blew my opportunity at meeting new people. Great. They problem think I’m super rude.

As I am looking at my phone, I feel someone tap my head. I look up and see one of my friends, Lewis.

Lewis and I became friends during the Monaco grand prix last year’s right before I took a break.

“Lewis” I get up to hug him. He hugs back.

“Y/n, I missed you girl” he says “How have you been” he rubs my shoulders.

“Good- Just trying to survive” I tell him while laughing.

He looks to my left and his eyes light up.

“Oh my days, It’s Jude Bellingham” he says while going for a bro hug.

“Lewis Hamilton, so nice to meet you finally.” Jude says while receiving the hug.

“You know him” I say to Lewis. Not trying to be rude.

“Duh, he’s England’s golden boy of course I know him” Lewis says to me as I just look in shock. I totally thought he was just some random person.

“Sorry for being rude earlier, I’m not good in social situations” I say sincerely.

“It’s alright love, I understand” Jude says, making me swoon. No one has ever called me Love Like that. I don’t know how to feel.

We chat together for a while before Lewis must leave to get back to his seat. The show starts and I am admiring and taking notes in my head.

The show ends and we all give a standing ovation.

“I forgot to tell you “Jude leans down to my ear.

“You look gorgeous love” Jude says while smiling at me.

“And you look very handsome” I say while looking up at him. Even in heels he still towers over me.

“Could I get your number” he asks while pulling out his phone to hand it to me.

I put my number in and gave it back to him.

“I’ll text you when I get back to my hotel” he says while going for a kiss on my cheek.

I lean into the kiss and give him a hug. Not caring about the mass amount of cameras that are capturing this moment.

“I’ll be waiting.”

I love this man sm but bro didn't get to help you up because it was so sudden and didn't get to react in time ;(

It all happened when you two where walking on the Heartslabyul and you just HAD to trip on a bucket full of red paint.

Basically, making you faceplant HARD into the grass. (And also staining grand part of the grass with the red paint that was spilled....)

"Oh my go- (y/n), are you okay?" Cut to Trey crouching down inmediatly to see if you were okay <3

May or may not laugh, really depends on the topic you both were talking before your accident.

But if he DOES laugh, don't think that it's going to be an mocking laugh of all sorts, no.

He's going to help you up on your feet and check up on you while he lets out quiet chuckles, nothing more. (Ignoring the CRIME SCENE looking grass..)

After a few seconds you both notice what you accident did and... You both basically bail the scene before anyone saw you both beside the spilled paint.

Overall! Pretty good (unsurprisingly) , an extra point to help you hide after your mess. 10/10

Ruggie Bucchi

LAUGHS. (It was probably his fault that you tripped in the first place...)

He's laughing as if he's never laughed in his whole LIFE.

Thank god there was no one around you both....

Will probably ask you if you're okay between laughs but it's okay since he's AT LEAST, asking.

Eventually help's you by crouching down slightly and offering his hand so he can pull you up. (Please pull him down with you after because he deserves it)

As Ruggie helps you up, HE'S STILL LAUGHING.

And from now on, he's never going to let you forget it. He'll bring up your fall ANY chance he gets. Also laughs everytime he remembers... (It's not that funny.)

Overall... Ehhh... Good enough. Half of a point point because he offered you a CRUMB of a donut he buyed later as some kind of consolation.

Just to catch you 💀💀 You're getting mixed signals from this man.

Helps you effortlessly on your feet with THAT one smile.... Even thought he knows you know that he did it on purpose.

He makes you "payback" for his service by accepting an after hours date in the lounge, (After hours because Azul did NOT have to know that the lounge was still open just so Jade can try to woo you).

Needless to say, the date thing was actually pretty nice. It was a candle light dinner with the most expensive plates on the lounge's menu, he made them himself , of course. (He somehow managed to sneak in AT LEAST six mushrooms in all of them, much to Floyd's disgust because he couldn't eat the leftovers.)

Overall. Good. He's still not done with this "payback" you owe him for saving your life from the terrible death of falling... Extra points for the dinner. 6.7/10

Okay this is actually a partial reply to another post

but my reply got so long i think tumblr literally cant cope LMAO so (context the Amity park perception filter thread with @kaidatheghostdragon which i will edit a link into after posting (X) Edit: the context link is now attached)

Honestly they might not CRASH crash the economy but I honestly think they could do some serious damage. At the very least if Amity is going to start essentially printing USD with these cards to get infrastructure and the like set up the inflation within the town is going to go crazy and they might just need a new currency. I think it's also determined by how LARGE you consider Amity to be. As I've always seen it described as a small town I've always envisioned it to have a population of around 10,000 people. AS IT TURNS OUT the wiki describes it as 'Amity Park is depicted as a moderately large urban city, reminiscent of Chicago, San Francisco, and/or Philadelphia' WHICH IS WAY LARGER THAN I IMAGINED. I don't know SHIT about American cities or their layouts apart from the fact that Everything Is Squares and also apparently the junctions are death(? Apparently America doesn't have roundabouts??? Bro??? I don't know if that was a Simpsons gag but I think about it maybe half as often as I use roundabouts), BUT the point is that google says those cities are somewhere around 800,000 to 2.6 million.

Honestly I think those are weird numbers because those are enough of a range to not be at all considered the same size imo but we'll take Philadelphia as our base bc that's the one in the middle at 1.5 million. In "Amity Park's" population statistics (X) if you take everyone from 20-44 (we're pretending people under 20 can't get one bc apparently 13 year olds can get them with special permissions and that fills me with a special kind of anguish to have learned) but if you take everyone from 20-44 that population totals something like 613,028.

We'll give an error margin of 10% to account for people who are auto disqualified for whatever reason and between that error margin and the people I'm ignoring I think it's realistic to assume you could get 551,726 people credit cards. Unlimited ones? maybe not. But look me in the eyes and tell me if Sam Manson was told 'We can fix the public infrastructure that's damaging the environment and cause serious damage to predatory lending companies' She would not use her families wealth to be backing people as some kind of collateral/co-signer to get OBSCENLEY high credit cards SO FAST. That's to say nothing of if Tucker and the Other Nerds decide it's actually completely fine for them to hack into these companies and auto approve all these credit cards. Like the towns in dire straights so why not? It's unfortunately a pretty human tendency to see the people you care about in trouble and decide you're willing to throw literally anyone and everyone under the bus so I can see him/them doing it.

So. 551,726 people, with theoretically unlimited money to spend. CONSERVATIVELY if they racked up $500,000 USD on each card, the amount of money spent by Amity would end up being $275,863,000,000 or $275.8 BILLION Now the GDP of the USA is $25.44 Trillion, which looks like $25,440,000,000,000 so it's not a LOT in the grand scheme of things but it is just over 1%, I'm not going to pretend I know what that does economically to the entire USA but consider that Beer sales in the USA accounted for $106 billion in 2022, and that amity would potentially be generating nearly three times that. (X) I have just gone on a fucking TANGENT about the economy in this silly fun times thread of ours so I apologise I will try and sum up very quickly why I think they could spend so much so quickly. Philadelphia has a total of 37 hospitals. They built a new one sometime around 2021 to the tune of $1.6 billion (X) If Amity built a new hospital for liminality care and a few new ones Just Because They Realised They Can, say they build ten new hospitals, which is a VERY LARGE amount of new hospitals to build on workforce Alone, but they probably have tireless ghost workers who are probably obsessed with construction and regular living workers who want to be paid in the times before everyone had acclimated to the ghosts properly. Split among 551,726 people that's actually a fairly reasonable $28,999.90, which, hilariously, is actually just in and around the average limit to credit cards. So they wouldn't even need Sam or Tucker to mess with credit cards yet (X) Averages typically suck as a way of measuring stuff but this isn't a Real Life Government Project so I'm willing to call that acceptable. So if it's only $30k for ten hospitals why the hell am I citing a fat $500k each? Luxury Shit. A few luxury cars and some big name watches and you've blown through that $500k no problem. That's to say nothing of all the REST of the infrastructure that needs fixing - the roads, the schools, the libraries, the replacement materials for the transport system - hell building the APDC is going to probably be another billion dollar project if they want two portals large enough to get what is probably multilane traffic through in regards to transport. Sure the cars won't be useful for long maybe but that's just one example. Jewellery, coats - hell designer shoes and collector nonsense can go for STUPID amounts and as people who are desperate to outpace their neighbours in Cool Stuff They Own realise that their neighbours are capable of getting all the same crap they are? people are either going to stop caring or they're going to start buying some Really Obscure Shit. For the others who just wanted to buy pretty things? There's literally no reason to stop. Amity might have to limit the amount of crap people can get shipped in per week/impose serious shipping tariffs just to make sure the new FTL supply chain doesn't collapse because people are determined to get their new Cashmere and Mohair coats with Gold Embroidery or what the hell ever on next day delivery. Honestly in this scenario the cards over time thing probably doesn't matter because I'm pretty sure the Amity expenditure would DESTROY the lending company, which might then actually be the thing to get Amity rediscovered or maybe they space all these buildings out over time so they keep living the sweet life.

for the cinephile byler truthers. i made the party’s modern au letterboxd accounts

in my head mike wheeler is the film bro cinephile of the party. hes a big brad pitt fan and fincher is his favorite director if you even care.. dirty dancing would be in his top 4 if he was honest. he went to see dune cause hes a scifi nerd, ended up hating it so much and complained about it to will but still gave it 2 stars cause it was pretty. did leave a very mean review. very critical rater but mostly leaves high ratings because he just doesn’t watch things he doesnt wanna see.

rogue one because lucas has taste. its the best star wars movie, if u care. he would love how fun and goofy ghostbusters 2 is. in my head Wes Anderson is like the party’s claimed director and they all watch his movies together and do marathons because the weirdness, comedy, and emotional commentary is a perfect mix for them. so. bottle rocket. lucas’ favorite wes anderson is the grand budapest hotel if u wanted to know. he rates things pretty highly and isn’t super critical.

So I've seen people discussing the way Warner Bros' upcoming film Coyote vs Acme, a mixed live action/animation film got sent to the archive in the name of tax write-offs:

Thank you so much for putting your faith in me to write this request <3. As a white woman, I want to make sure that I'm correctly depicting the styles, so I've been doing some research. I had a lot of fun just looking at different ways people style their box braids!

Lucifer

When you first meet Lucifer, he would definitely be curious about your braids. He wouldn't make a big deal out of it and honestly may just see it as another human custom that's not as prevailent in the Devildom.

As your relationship with him develops, he may show favoritism towards the classic long box braids. The way the braids sway with your every step has him mesmerized.

I think he would complement every style you wear your braids in, but he is a man who loves his classics after all.

Mammon

Mams would be more vocal about his curiousity. He bombards you with questions like: "How long do they take?" "Do you braid them yourself?" (If the answer is no, that you pay someone to braid your hair for you, 9 times out of 10 he's going to ask how much it costs.)

I think he'd be all over a mixed color box braid, especially if you have yellows and golds mixed in! He's totally not biased towards those colors, what are you talking about? Another style I think he would like is yarn braids, once again in yellows and golds.

Leviathan

He would also be very quiet at first. Not because he doesn't like them, but because he's socially awkward and doesn't want to come off as insensitive. He does some research and then comes to you with questions. Please be patient with him, he's anxious.

I think he'd like it if you style your hair in jumbo box braids and lay your edges too. The laid edges remind him of waves (which complement his roll as Grand Admiral of Hell's Navy, but he won't tell you that).

Take him to an appointment to get your hair done or let him join you if you do it yourself. He will be eager to help in any way (if you want him to), but he gets distracted by the techniques used to braid your hair.

Satan

He would be interested in the history of the different braids, even if they aren't styles you usually wear. Like Lucifer, he would enjoy seeing how your hair moves with you as you walk. He won't admit to staring though.

As for his favorite style of box braids, I think he'd show favoritism towards box braids with curly or wavy ends.

He would be one of the most observent if you try something different. Different edge laying product? He will mention it. Go see a new braider? Somehow he is able to differentiate between them.

Asmodeus

Asmo is obsessed with your braids. He wants to know everything including techniques, history, different styles, and other braid styles too. He insists he sits in and watches your hair get braided.

He would love the knotless braids with beads. He would practically beg to pick out beads for your hair (expect there to be multiple beads with different heart styles). If you aren't into beaded styles, I think he would also like if you style your hair in a half up bun or half up space buns!

At some point in your relationship he will drop hints that he wants to learn how to braid. He will be ecstatic if you teach him.

Beelzebub

He just doesn't really notice at first? I wouldn't say he doesn't care, he cares because your hair style is what makes you unique in his eyes. He just sees it as another human characteristic.

Out of the different styles, I think he would prefer the large box braid style. He thinks it frames your face very well.

I can't see him being very involved with your hair if that makes sense. He's chill, "you do you and I'll love you regardless" kind of vibes

Belphegor

Much like his twin, he doesn't really focus on it. However, I think the further your relationship grows with him the more he'll take notice of your different hair styles.

He finds the bohemian box braid style the most visually appealing. He loves the variety that is exentuated in the style. I think he'd also love if you accessorize with hair scarves or bandanas (bonus points if its his color).

I think he'd compliment on each different style you try, but that one will be at the top of the list if you ask him what style you should do next.
