and then he’d met you; a woman so beautiful that not even the feared diablo could hide his affections for you.

but even when the two of you started talking about being in a relationship; kids never came up

he never wanted any and he thought you wanted the same

and you had!

kids was never something you had wanted much in life either.

until, you had a pregnancy scare.

but it wasn’t actually scary for you,

you felt this rush of happiness and that’s when you realized what you wanted in life

to be a mother.

you already had the maternal feeling that most mothers didn’t get until they’d had a kid

you were empathetic

you knew how to calm akutagawa down even when no one else could

it was like you were born to be a mother

so you told ryunosuke your new found passion,

and i admit; he was a little taken aback by this sudden change in your attitude

but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t try with you.

“if it happens it happens.” that was your motto to each other.

but then it…didn’t happen

and it never happened.

you didn’t tell akutagawa, but you were upset

how were you supposed to tell him? he didn’t want children much!

so you secretly went to a fertility doctor

you didn’t bother asking akutagawa to come along, he’d either be noticed from his constant being on the news or catch someone staring too hard and rashomon would cause yet another death

but maybe you should’ve risked it because no one should’ve had to hear what you heard while alone

“i’m sorry ms y/n, but you seem to have some fertility issues. there seems to be an ovulatory disease that you have…”

the rest of the doctors words just droned on, but you couldn’t hear anything

it was like you had become the victim of a cruel prank by fate

the one thing you had slowly come to accept that you wanted - was ripped away before you could even grasp the idea of it

you couldn’t even go into work after the news was given to you, you sat at home waiting for akutagawa to get home

but how were you supposed to tell him? just blurt out you couldn’t make him a dad?

you decided to hold off on telling him, but your boyfriend wasn’t stupid

when he came home and you weren’t immediately jumping at the chance to talk about what the two of you did today he knew something was wrong

“ my dear, what’s wrong? ” akutagawa asked as he leaned himself on the door of your shared bedroom. usually when he stepped into your shared apartment he was met with the brightest toothiest grin from you, one of his favorite parts of the day, so when you didn’t greet him at the door he knew something was up. he walked into the room the two of you shared to find you curled up into yourself, visible tears that had dried on your perfect face. “ ‘m broken , ryu…”you sobbed out, causing the usually cold and stoic male to break the mask he’d worn all day while at work. “ what? dear, you’re not broken. ” he said simply, walking over to the bed and sitting beside you, rubbing your back. “ tell me what’s wrong, dear, please? ” he sounded so desperate to help you feel better about yourself. “ i cant have kids, ryu, i’m broken. ” your voice cracked as you looked back at him, mascara smeared off of your eyes and onto your under eyes. “ doctors said i cant have babies…” you hiccuped as he had to sit and process the words you said. “ oh my dear, it’s okay, we already have a family. the mafias our family.” he said softly as he laid down beside you, allowing you to crawl up into his arms. he quietly shushed you as he rocked you to sleep. even if you couldn’t make your own family, akutagawa would love you either way.

dazai

dazai and his weird obsession with finding a beautiful woman to commit with was what led him to you.

you had been a new hire in a bar that he’d liked to frequent after spending hours at work

when you came up to him to see if he was just going to stare at you or get a drink , he’d taken the leap

he immediately grabbed your hands, eyes sparkling as he looked up at you

“ would you like to commit a double suicide with me? ”

you were on the verge of tears because of how stressed you were from the other patrons, so laughing at this silly man made you feel much better

his face fell as he looked at you, but your laugh was just so enchanting

“ my belladonna…would you not like to commit with me ? ”

and that’s how you ended up in this now two year long relationship with osamu dazai

over the past two years you’d moved in with osamu and switched your job from bartending to work in the cafe below the armed detective agency.

you’d seen many kids come in and out with their parents during your shifts

and they’d never really made you feel anything…until recently.

everytime you saw a child come in with their family it made your chest feel strangely tight and achey

and then you realized, that you really really wanted kids

ones that looked like dazai and didn’t have his personality, preferably.

and when you brought it up to him, he just teased you-

“ my bella, you just want what leads to the babies, don’t you? you shouldn’t have to even ask for that.”

it doesn’t get through his thick skull that you really do want kids until you just straight up tell him

“ osamu, i want kids. bad. ”

and for a man so smart, he sounded so dumb

blabbing on and on about how you’d look so pretty pregnant, but with a suicidal fool like his child? he couldn’t imagine it!

but wouldn’t osamu be mean if he didn’t give his cute little girlfriend what she wanted 🫶🏼

so you tried for months and months to get pregnant

and it just never happened for you

you decided that maybe the two of you had some other factor leading to the constant negative pregnancy tests

so you both went to the doctor and had check ups on your sexual health along with dazais sperm counted and your uterus checked to see if something was wrong

the two of you were even joking around about not being able to have kids and how silly that sounded

oh how you wished you could take it all back

the doctor came back and gave the news quite swiftly

“ i’m afraid miss y/n has a factor we have yet to determine that causes her chances of successfully carrying a child to significantly drop. i’m so sorry. ”

you tried your best to seem stoic and unwavering, but your vision clouded even more by every second.

the doctor left to give you two some time together.

and that’s when the real tears came

“ oh, my bella…”dazai frowned as he looked at you, trying to hide your glassy eyes and quivering lips. he wasn’t dumb, he knew how you were- so brave and so strong trying to keep your composure. the male wrapped his bandaged arms around your body. and that’s when the tears finally came flowing out, your whole body shaking as you clung to the man you so desperately wanted children with. “i’m useless , ‘samu.” you cried into your lovers arms. “i can’t even do the one thing women are supposed to do!” the male rubbed your back, trying to console you, but how could he? the dream that had just started to grow in your mind had been crushed with one simple dream. “no, no , you’re not useless. you’re the farthest from useless.”he cooed into your hair, one hair rubbing your back continuously while the other was holding the back of your head. “ we’ll grow our own family, my belladonna. i promise you. ” and dazai osamu was a man of his word.

i really didn’t know much about infertility so i did some research, and i know it’s not the deepest dive into it; but i hope i did it justice!

synopsis! Keigo never thought he'd be the man to settle down, but here he was dancing to Frank Sinatra in the kitchen with the love of his life.

Keigo Takami doesn't believe he deserves love, but when he gets home and sees you cooking dinner in the kitchen he just wants to be close to with you.

You hadn't heard him over the music that was playing; keigo recognized it well. It was the playlist you swore would be playing when the two of you got married. “ one day ” he'd tell you, and as impatient a person that you were; you grew to be okay with that answer. You were happy just living the domestic life you had with keigo.

He came up behind you,grabbing your waist as you let out a loud as hell scream. You looked back at the pro hero,"Jesus! Kei! You can't do that to me!" And to keigo; you looked gorgeous right now. Hair in its natural state, not styled or anything- you were in an oversized hoodie and some grey sweats. God he could fall in love with you all over again.

“ sorry, birdie...didn't wanna interrupt you. You looked so..."he thought about the word to describe you before finally understanding just how to describe you. "...ethereal."he laughed as he looked at you.

You just gave him a kiss on the cheek before skipping one of the songs you'd grown to hate on the playlist. Suddenly, Keigo's favorite song started playing. ‘Come Fly with Me’ by Frank Sinatra. Keigo smiled as he pulled you away from the stove,pulling you towards his chest,"may I have this dance?"he got closer to your ear, kissing your temple.

You could only let out a small laugh,"the food, kei..." “Don't worry about that...just dance with me.” you knew that it wasn't going to matter, it was on a low simmer anyways but you were still nervous that you would ruin dinner.

Keigo took your waist in his hand,swaying back and forth with you in his grasp. The slow tune of the song was something that calmed him and you...you were something that riled him up. He sighed shakily as he leaned down,kissing your neck.

Frank Sinatra was one of the most romantic singers; everyone knew this.

He was getting riled up, especially when he felt your hands go up to his wings; caressing them without a second thought. “you're killing me birdie..." The man was pent up. Not being able to see you because of work, dealing with the LOV, and the stress he'd had about keeping you happy.

You were a simple being though; you appreciated him just talking to you. You'd be on your hands and knees for him even if he just gave you a smile. That's just the effect keigo takami had on people.

“you're gonna have to wait, my love."you whispered to him,kissing him as you swayed slowly with him, accidentally stepping on his feet. You were a clumsy person, anyone could see,but it was what made keigo love you even more than the average person could.

Dinner was your first priority, especially because you didn't want to set off the smoke alarms in your shared apartment like you had last week due to the same reason; keigo being needy. Pleasing Keigo was your second favorite thing to do, besides cuddle him, but sadly you'd have to wait on that for now.

“birdie c'mon...”the taller man smiled down at you as he leaned over and turned off the stove top, leaving you quite surprised. “kei- it's getting late! we have to eat-" but the impatient bird brain cut you off by grabbing your waist and basically dragging you to your shared bedroom,running into the walls a few times.

You let out a small whine as the kiss continued,thinking about the food that was going to go to waste as you felt his lips press to yours, seeming like keigo couldn't get close enough.

Kissing you, touching you, being with you was as close to heaven as Keigo could get, and he'd take it over those pearly gates any day,"don't worry, I'll make it up to you.”he whispered against your lips as he pulled away for a breath of air.

and with that you slipped into the arms of keigo takami, the man who could treat you like a god when he really wanted to-

frank sinatra still droning on in the kitchen.

As we all know, Natsuo grew up in a household where fatherly love wasn't shown towards him, but as he'd watched his daughter,natsuki, grow up over the past four years he'd been the happiest he could ever be

When she was born

The girl was so tiny, so delicate, her skin looked like it had been painted on with an oil brush. Her eyes were like two tiny blue stones. It was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. "Natsuki.” you had whispered from the hospital bed as you were doing skin to skin with your daughter.

He was scared that he wasn't going to be a good dad,but when he had this beautiful daughter and you; his favorite person and wife next to him, the fears faded away towards the back of his mind. “yeah. Yeah it's perfect. such a pretty name...for our pretty girl."the nickname rolled off his tongue so flawlessly, like he'd been planning on having a kid so young with you. Like he'd been planning on nicknames for her.

He hadn't known it then,but his life was going to become extremely hectic and full of the fun you could only have with a child.

1st year

For the past year, being a dad to natsuki had been an incredible experience for him. He was so thankful for all the moments he had shared with her, from her first smile to her first steps. He cherished every moment they spent together and loved watching her grow into a beautiful girl. Natsuki's first giggle made his chest grow tighter than ever; and the way you gave him a tired smile when he'd come home from school made him want to help as much as he could. Every day brings new joys and he is filled with gratitude for all that they have experienced in this past year.

2nd year

Every moment natsuo spends with natsumi is precious and he cherishes every single one of them. From teaching her how to ride a bicycle to playing tag in the backyard with you two, he loves every second of it.

He knew that all too soon these moments will pass and she would be all grown up, it had happened so fast from when natsumi was born and now suddenly she was two and could talk and walk and have fun with him, but until then he plans on enjoying everything he's had with his child for the past two years of her life.

3rd year

Being a dad to a three year old toddler is both challenging and rewarding, and natsuo finds that out the hard way.

He had been left at home with natsumi and got locked in the bathroom.

It's a time of immense joy and growth, as he watched natsumi learn new things every day. As a dad, he'd experienced everything from the highs of playing with the toddler to the lows of trying to find ways to keep her entertained.

He wouldn't trade it for anything, as it had been an amazing experience that has brought him so much joy and laughter.

4th year

While you were pregnant again with your second child natsuo was enjoying taking four year old natsumi to her first day of school, where he totally didn't cry, and dance classes that put a hole in his pocket, but he'd do anything for natsumi.

It was difficult to balance the needs of both natsumi and take care of you and the doctors appointments .

After your second child is born; natsumi becomes the best older sister.

Natsuo never thought he deserved love, and he definitely never thought he would be a good father. But here he was, learning and growing alongside natsumi while also being completely obsessed with you as well.

avid lucifer hater right here so like I'm making him in my brutally honest opinion ( mwah )

Literally would ignore your texts for hours upon hours

He's a busy man, he doesn't have time to be checking his phone every 2 minutes

I'd say he checks it like 2 hours after you've sent that text and he goes crazy

Normally the way he texts is very put together and simple but whenever you tell him he ends up texting you like this;

WHAT??

Y/N ANSWER RIGHT NOW

etc, etc

Turns out, your period had shown up about an hour after you sent that text-

And right now you were napping in your room

To which you wake up to Lucifer opening your door asking if he can speak to you about your child.

Which you have to tell him you're not pregnant now

And he'll go back to his work.

Mammon

Always on his phone

Gets the text IMMEDIATELY.

leaves his room and just busts in your room

I mean it's like he basically lives there already so why not just barge in the place?

And the lovely sorcerer tells him these things you can get on akuzon called

He ordered like twelve of them and got them delivered straight to his room

He then rushed to your room and interrupted your show to make you pee on these twelve sticks

but here's the issue,

CW; Angst, unrequited love, Mirio is an oblivious man, reader is in love with Mirio, based off of Taylor Swift’s “teardrops on my guitar” obviously, let me know if I missed anything!!

Synopsis; You’re in love with your best friend, Mirio Togata, who everyone wants, but you have. Or had. When he starts talking about another girl and how much he likes her to you, what are you meant to do besides sit aside and let him become happy.

Mirio Togata was the boy that boys and girls alike wanted. His beautiful crystal blue eyes, blonde hair, and best of all, his sweet sweet smile made him the picture image of the “perfect boy.” You were just like everyone else, pining for the rather ditzy boy, but you had an advantage; You were one of Mirio’s best friends, someone he could come to with his problems and someone who got the privilege to hear about how he wasn’t looking for a relationship right now.

While that may seem discouraging, you were actually relieved. The feelings you bore for Togata couldn’t be expressed, at least not in a way you were comfortable with. I mean, you had a quirk that seemed rather useless in your eyes; a music based quirk. Compared to Mirio, you felt like the shadow of a leaf falling to the ground while the sun stood in its place and shined, not once wavering. You held no comparison to him; you had no wish to build your own agency from the ground up. You would much rather stay a pro’s sidekick like you were now with Ryukyu, but Mirio seemed far past that. It simply wouldn’t work, but you could hope.

Even though Mirio Togata was the sun to you; you were simply just Pluto in his universe. You were close enough to be in his orbit, but never would you be close enough to actually be a part of his life. You would be lucky to even be remembered by Mirio after highschool, let alone be what you actually wanted to be to him; a girlfriend.

You wanted Mirio more than all might had wished to catch All-For-One. You wanted to write songs about him, to wake up to that giddy boyish smile every morning, and just be a bigger part of his life, just be with him. That wouldn’t happen though, Mirio was obsessed with another girl; someone in class 3-B who you had never really seen before.

“We’re gonna get married Y/N! I just know it!”

“You haven’t talked to her yet, Mirio, what are you talking about?”

“We’re gonna get married!”

Mirio was too much, it was like he never realized your feelings even though everyone else had. And if he had; then that was a cruel game to play just because he could, but you knew him too well to know he would never do that to you. So you began keeping your feelings locked up, now encouraging Mirio to talk to the girl, to go up to her, to just…be himself. Yes, it hurt like hell, but you couldn’t stop Mirio’s feelings for her; so why not try and help him and try to get over him this way?

Eventually, a month later, Mirio and the girl are together and they are oh so happy. As excited you were for him, it also became noticeable that Mirio was distancing from you; slowly going farther away until you could no longer reach him. That was okay, you knew Mirio was happy, so why were you always crying throughout the hours of the night? Your body was something you didn't understand; it made you cry for what you thought was no reason. You were tired of crying; so you came up with a plan, distract yourself.

You began picking up your cluttered room, taking the clothes to the hamper, dusting away the cobwebs,and moving stuff out from under your bed. That was where you found a crumpled piece of paper; unfolding it only to see a song that you had been writing for Mirio, well not for him, but about him. About how he talked about this girl to you, how perfect he looked, how his smile could make you melt. You got up and grabbed your guitar, slowly starting to strum the chords while softly singing along. Of course you started to cry; even with all your attempts to distract yourself, you couldn’t help it.

Mirio Togata, the boy who everyone wanted but you had, was never meant to be yours. Life had other plans for you two, and they didn’t include each other. So you’d sit in your dorm, letting your mind wander to the boy who’s the reason for the teardrops on your guitar.

Synopsis; After breaking up with your boyfriend of three years, Neito Monoma, you were trying everything you could to forget he was ever a part of your life.

Neito Monoma was the worst person in all of the human race, or at least he was to you. It was bad enough that you’d wasted 3 years of your life being with him, but now he wanted to tell everyone that he’s the one who broke your heart?

If that were true then you wouldn’t have been doing what you were doing right now, burning pictures of you two in the dorm rooms; which may have set off a few fire alarms if you weren’t careful, but you truly couldn’t care less anymore. You’d been dating Monoma since the beginning of your first year and now that you were at the end of your third year, you had finally discovered your worth.

You picked up a polaroid photo from the pile that had collected on your bed, memories flooding in your mind of this moment. It was your first date with the blonde, a movie night in the common area of the, then, class 1-B’s common area. Looking back at it, you weren’t sure it was actually as romantic as what you first thought it was, especially considering he didn’t even make popcorn or anything- and that the rest of the class was with you two.

“Monoma, do they have to be here?” you had asked him halfway through the movie. It wasn’t that you disliked your class, no you loved them, but you thought this was just going to be a you and Monoma thing. “We don’t own this place, love. Anyone can come in and join us.” which you supposed was true,but this was a date. It wasn’t a class hang out, nor was it just some friends watching a movie together, it was something that meant the world to you.

You came back into reality, this memory proved it, Monoma wasn’t intent on keeping you happy, he was more focused on what he and the others would like, you were just a side project to keep him busy. You took a lighter to the photo, staring at it as it burned, the smile that was plastered on your face fading away within the ashes as well. You had many more to go through, so you grabbed another one; a picture of you and Monoma in his bed while you had on a facemask and he was on his phone.

“Hey Neitooo! Do you wanna put on a facemask with me now?” You had been bugging the boy for hours, but his focus was all on his phone. He was studying the news on Class 1-A and the USJ. “not now.” that was always his answer, and you were sure it wasn’t going to change. “Oh come on and put the phone down! So what if the other class is on the news? We’ll be having the sports festival soon and everyone will see how amazing we are!” You were the definition of optimism in this relationship; Neito was never the one who was excited or happy for you two, it was almost always you. “They’ll see how amazing I am! Then those class 1-A brats will know their place!” The boy put you down a lot, and your young brain just thought he was upset because class 1-B didn’t get enough attention.

Looking back at the photo, you realized that Neito Monoma would love himself more than he could ever love you. You took the lighter to the photo once more, watching as the laminated paper just went up in flames. You hadn’t noticed that your dorm room door had been opened, so you were frightened whenever Kendo’s voice carried through your mostly silent room,” what are you doing?”she’d asked you, the crackle of the pictures you’d shoved in a trashcan (empty of course) filling the silence while you thought of what to say. “Uh…burning these stupid pictures obviously. Stupid man has no place in my life anymore.”and you were serious about that.

“Why not just get with one of his friends?”Kendo suggested. “He has friends?” that witty response from you got a laugh erupting from the orange haired girls mouth. “You’re so mean Y/N! I love it!” it wasn’t that Kendo hated the boy, but she was on your side in this whole debacle. She never believed that Monoma was the dating type, so it was exceptionally scary when you actually stuck around with him for three years.

“Or maybe just tell your friends he's gay?” and while these may have seemed petty and childish, you liked talking to kendo this way. It got you to really and truly believe that Neito Monoma was just a picture to burn.
