oikawa turned to look at you, seeing your arm extended and pointing to the direction of the food stand. the stand was illuminated by the flickering lights and the neon signs plastered around. lit by one of the lights displayed their fried foods, the ice cream being the center of attention on the sign.

“four deep fried ice cream, please,” oikawa smiled back, handing the money to the cashier.
“of course! here’s your change, and let me get you your order,” he gleefully spoke as he turned around to ask for your order. almost immediately, he turned back around and in his hands were the desserts you were craving.
“thank you!” both you and oikawa responded, oikawa taking the dessert from him and walking away as you stared at the plate of food.
“here, open.” oikawa had scooped a spoonful of the treat onto his spoon, placing it in front of your face as you opened your mouth and took it.
the ice cream was both creamy yet crunchy, warm yet cold, and altogether really good. you grinned to yourself, watching oikawa take his own portion and scoop it into his mouth.

oikawa grinned, eyes closing as he smiled through his eyes. the two of you walked away from the vendor, walking along the street to see what other things were around.
the two of you looked around, finding different foods that all sounded way too good for your nearly-full stomach—cheesy fries, pizza cones, corn in a cup. there were even peculiar foods like fried frog legs that weren’t something you were particularly craving. though, it was fun to window shop as you headed down to the rides.
oikawa stopped to look around first, figuring out what rides stood out to the both of you, until you poked at him to grab his attention.
“tooru, want to try the bumper cars first?” you pointed to the left and he saw the short line of people waiting for the ride. he nodded, and you grabbed his hand as you ran towards the ride, the both of you laughing as you raced over there.
as soon as you got there, the next group of people were starting to board. you each handed your tickets off to the ride operator, sitting down in separate cars.
“you ready to get your ass kicked, y/n?” oikawa had challenged.
you scoffed, rolling your eyes at him. “nah, you better be prepared, tooru.
the ride buzzed, and the carts started moving. you stepped hard onto the pedal, oikawa doing the same, and you zipped off into his direction until your cars crashed into each other. you bounced off of his car, taking the opportunity to drive away. oikawa drove behind you, attempting to catch up to you, but instead turned around to try and cut you off.
he was successful, as you didn’t expect his surprise maneuver, and you crashed the side of his cart. he laughed in triumph, and the ride buzzed again, signaling the end. the two of you let out a breathy laugh, oikawa taking his seatbelt off first to help you get out of the car.
“well well, i think we know who’s the winner here,” he teased.
“ugh, shut up,” you smiled, pushing him away from you, feigning your upset attitude. he laughed, walking up to you to try and hug you, but you continued your act.
“aw babe, don’t be a sore loser,” he grinned. he turned around in a hurry, looking for something until he noticed a carnival game in the distance, something he thought would be easy for him to win a prize. “i’ll win the game for you and get you a prize, babe. then you won’t be upset at me.”
your ears perked at the mention of a prize. you turned to see him smiling bashfully at you, holding out his hand for you to take. you took his hand, and let him drag you to the stand.
at the stand were stations, and at each station was a stack of milk bottles. the worker walked up to the two of you, holding out a bean bag for one of you to take. “knock all them down, win a big prize. care to try?”
oikawa took out some of his extra tickets and handed it to the worker, taking one of the bean bags she held out.
he toyed with the bean bag for a bit before looking at his target. he squinted, calculating whatever he was calculating in his head. he posed his arm as if he were to throw it, but only extended it and didn’t actually let go of the bean bag. he continued his inspection, tongue out and focused, until he let his hand fall down.
“alright, i’m ready! this is for you, babe,” he winked at you, and you smiled and rolled your eyes, staring at the milk bottles a few feet away.
oikawa took a deep breath, and took a step behind him. he held onto the bean bag with both hands, turned his body back, and in one swift movement threw the bean bag and lunged forward, hitting all the milk bottles down to the ground.
you were shocked. these games were all but luck, but maybe luck had been on his side. you ran up to him in excitement, where the two of you screamed for joy. the worker walked back to your station, smiling at your celebration.

In the morning or before going to bed, he would wrap his arm around you and not let you go even though you want to take a glass of water for a drink. You could feel his muscles wrapped around you.

His eyes darted to you before holding one of your hands, "Oi....remember, don't cause any trouble and be careful. If I hear from other people that you got into a trouble or accident, I would personally come and beat you," he threatens.
"I will....don't worry, Hajime-Kun. be careful too....take care," You kissed his nose before giving him a hug and leaving him.

“Hehe! Did I scare you, [Y/n]-cchi~?” Snickers the chocolate haired third year, rubbing the back of his head with a playful look while uttering an apology. “Sorry 'bout that.”
“No, no, it's okay. Anyway, how's the things here?” Humming your question, you glanced around, avoiding Oikawa's stare.
“Everything here is alright, we're preparing for the upcoming practice match this week.” He answered, arm slinged on your shoulder—walking and chatting around with you beside him.
“Oi, Oikawa! Stop chatting with [Y/n] there and help around in cleaning here!” Iwaizumi growls, throwing a ball at his direction.
“Oh c'mon, you guys can do that yourselves, let your lovely captain chat with the lovely [Y/n]~!” Complains Oikawa, only to be hit by a ball thrown by Makki this time.
“No way we're letting you have a lovey-dovey moment with [Y/n] while we clean!” Hanamaki shouts as you flushed red, shaking your head ‘no’ rapidly.
“Oikawa! J..Just go clean already!” You stammered, pushing Oikawa to his teammates and making him clean with them.
“Aww... Fine, fine.” The guy huffed, going on to clean as you recomposed yourself... Suddenly remembering what you originally came here for.
“..Oh yeah, coach asked me to place this at the storage room along with the other documents and files of the club...” You whispered, standing up and walking to the said place.. And having minutes pass by, you still haven't found the drawer for the papers....
“Hey, you guys, where's the drawer for the club's docs?” You asked, wanting help from the team—which you eventually got when Oikawa dropped the mop in his hand and walked towards you.
“It's on the top shelf, not drawer, [Y/n]-cchi.” Oikawa says as you nodded, going back to the storage room to store the said papers.
“..Found it?” The captain asks after a few moments, receiving a frustrated answer from you. “No, not yet—and I need a little help here..!”
“Got it, got it.” He says in a sing sang tone, going to the storage room after you.
“Top shelf to the left side, you'll be greeted by all the club's paperworks..” Instructed the brunette, half closing the storage room's door as you opened the said shelf—and as he said, you were greeted by a mountain of papers.
“Ah! So they're here.. Coach said drawer, so I searched for it on the drawers.” You sighed, as Oikawa chuckled.
“Coach is being forgetful now, eh?” He snickers, watching you slide the file among the mountain of papers before letting out a deep sigh.
“Ah, good. We're done now.. Thanks Oikawa.” Thanking the male, you flashed him a smile that caused him to jolt, forcing his usual smile up his face despite his blushing face.
“I-It's no problem, [Y/n]-cchi! I just—I just helped you because I know that you struggle with being a student council, h..haha...” He stuttered, scratching the back of his head, and blurting out random words to you—making you two not notice the sound of the gym's door closing.
“Mhm, thanks again, and uh, I'll be going now..” Pointing at the door, you then went out of the storage room—greeted by an empty gym.
“Eh? Oikawa, I think your team left you here, hehe!” You laughed as Oikawa immediately dashed out of the room, checking if you were serious.
“HAAAHH!? T..Those guys, how dare they leave their captain here!?” Oikawa screeched, fuming, pouting his cheeks in a childish manner as he stomped to the gym's door.
“..But they left me here with [Y/n]-cchi... Did they give a golden opportunity to—c..confess?” Whispered Oikawa to himself, stopping his tracks to look at your figure that was following him.
“Oh, what's the matter, Oikawa? Why did you suddenly stop?” You asked to Oikawa who immediately snapped back to reality.
“AH, IT'S NOTHING!! I-I'll be going now, too.” Quickly walking to the door, Oikawa tried to slide it open—key word, tried—but only failing.
“..Locked? T..The door is locked?” Says the male as you stood behind him—hearing his words that made you panic.
“LOCKED? OHMY—Who locked it!?” You shout, shoving Oikawa aside to try and open it too and failing. Same with Oikawa.
“I..I don't know, [Y/n]-cchi...! But we're locked here! Together! Whuaaaahh!!” Dramatically falling to the floor, Oikawa covered his red face with his hands. Thoughts running wild each second that passed, knowing that you're with him.
“C..Calm down, Oikawa. I'll figure out a way.” You huff, pulling out your phone to text your fellow student council—asking help from them...
“....Okay! Don't worry now, Oikawa, help is coming on its way. I called someone who'll get us out here.” You said to Oikawa who's head rose up from his sulky figure.
“Already!?” He shouts as you widen your eyes, a tick mark on your neck showing. “What do you mean by ‘Already’!? Aren't you glad that help is coming..??”
“No, not at all! I wanna spend more time with you here, alone, [Y/n]-cchi..!” Oikawa gushed, pulling you down to the floor with him.
“..W..What? Why, Oikawa?” You asked, confused on his words. “Because...”
“Ugh! Look, [Y/n]-cchi, I like you, okay? You are one amazing person who I admire so much, I love every bit of you, I. Love. You.” Oikawa confessed with one breath, gripping your wrists tightly, not wanting to let go of it, of you.
“I love you,” He said in a croaky voice, letting go of your wrist to hold your shoulders instead—looking directly at your eyes with his earnest ones. “..Do you love me too?”
Asking his question, Oikawa's lower lip quivered, his eyes reddening as it slowly fill with tears due to the silence you gave him. Not knowing that you are in deep shock, still processing his words in your mind.
“..Oh....Okay, uh, this is... This is awkward. The silence.. It's too loud. I-I take it as a no, then.” Slowly letting go of you, Oikawa said his words in a saddened tone, lowering his head as he bit his lips that is tugged downwards.
“Wait! Oikawa, no, no—I like you too, okay?? S..Sorry for the silence, I was processing your words—uh, a..are you serious, though?” You admitted in a shaky voice, soothing Oikawa who's mouth fell agape, locking eyes with you once again.
“H..Huh? Y-Yes, [Y/n]-cchi, I like you, I really do. And... Y..You like me.... Too?” Murmurs Oikawa as you nodded, smiling at him warmly as you wiped his tears away. “Yes, I like you too..”
“That's.... That's assuring to know. I'm glad.” The brunette captain says, taking your hand and giving it rubs before giving it a kiss.
“[Y/n]-cchi, I love you.” “I love you too, Oikawa...”

“Uhh... I think I should just go away now—I'm pretty sure I'm interrupting your moment, with Oikawa-san, [Y/n]-san..” - your student council friend.
