Hey, guys !

I will be retiring this blog soon, either through archival or turning it into something else. I'm not as in-touch with the LGBTQIA+ community as I once was (though I'm still very much the same, identity-wise). I think that the community can be rather silly at times, and not in a good way, so I've started distancing myself from it. I've started developing more interests and having actual friends, so this community isn't really as important to me as it once was. As such, I find no use for this blog. I'm not sure exactly what I'll post from now on, but it'll likely be way diffrent and closer to the real Laura. If that's not something you fuck with, you can unfollow. This is a goodbye to what this blog was.

I've been thinking about what I should post onto here for a while. I just felt like everything had already been said. Ever wish and blessing to those unfortunate enough to feel unsafe this month, every "happy gay month", and so on, and so forth. I feel like everything has been adequately said, therefore I stood there, silent. This isn't a pity post, nor a metaphorical soap box (if that could even apply). It's me feeling somewhat useless within this discussion. I could wax poetic about this but I find that rather pointless, y'know ?

I always feel a little weird whenever I talk to one of my friends who is a girl. It feels weird becuse, and this is gonna shock you, we live in an amatonormative, heteronormative world. And I'm not even a man, that's not how I identify. But my gender presentation begs to differ. Queerphobia's a bitch, what can I say ? But it just feels weird to even walk next to a girl because of amatonormativity. I hate to rant twice in a day but I'm just particularly negative today I suppose.

TL;DR: amatonormativity makes me not want to talk to girls.

God, ok, so, I found this monstrosity of a twitter post and all I can say is "I'm sorry but this just the aroaceflux flag I used to use". Like, Jesus Christ, this person made a mysoginy flag (as pointed out by a keen-eyed comenter). This post fills me with a primal rage. Mostly because of the aroaceflux flag thing, but also just fort the shittyness of this. Just wow. I just needed to rant about it. Ok, bye !
