you’re the coffee that i need in the morning

Yoongi woke up with a terrible headache. He hissed when he tried to sit and clutched his head trying to ease the pain. He shouldn't have listened to Seokjin last night, one of Yoongi's biggest mistakes. He shook his head knowing well that he can't do anything with it and that they have a schedule to attend to, so even if it's against his will, he stood up and went straight to the bathroom. He splashed water to his face, feeling refreshed a bit. Once he thinks his mind is clearer he tried to remember what happened last night.

Right...Taehyung

Taehyung was the one who took care of him last night when he decided to just fuck it and got drunk. Taehyung brought him here in his room and even changed his clothes. Yoongi is 100% sure this isn't the first time the younger man took care of him, in fact, Taehyung's the one who take care of Yoongi the most. It's not that the others doesn't take care of Yoongi, it's just that Taehyung really focuses on Yoongi. He makes sure Yoongi eats well, Yoongi's comfortable, makes sure Yoongi's doesn't lock himself up on his studio, which is one of Yoongi's regrets, he shouldn't have given his passcode to Taehyung but well the younger will bother him in another way and well...Yoongi just can't resist Taehyung.

Yoongi decided to get out of his room to get his daily caffeine dose. When he got to the kitchen, he found the guy who's been invading his mind ever since he woke up. Taehyung's back is facing him and he's doing something Yoongi can't see. Yoongi made his presence known to the other and Taehyung quickly turned around to face him.

"Hyung you're awake, I was just about to go to your room" Taehyung smiled so widely that made Yoongi wondering if Taehyung is not hangover but then the younger doesn't drink alcohol as much as Yoongi.

"Well I'm awake but I feel like dying" Yoongi mumbled and sat on the chair. He saw Taehyung shook his head and then he handed Yoongi a mug.

Yoongi stared at the mug and looked up to Taehyung then raised his eyebrow. "Is this coffee?"

Taehyung is quick to nod and smiled widely "Yes! I woke up early to make some breakfast for you and I especially worked so hard to learn how to make coffee. Come on, taste it! Also I cooked pancakes because you said last night that you want some pancakes when you wake up" Taehyung explained then pushed the plate and put the mug down in front of Yoongi.

Taehyung got another plate for himself and sat beside Yoongi. He nudged Yoongi when Yoongi still kept staring at his plate "Hyung, the pancakes are supposed to be eaten, you know" the younger said while his mouth is full and Yoongi thinks he looks like a chipmunk...a cute one

Yoongi sighed and decided to eat, he has doubts because of course, it's Taehyung. No one allows him to be in the kitchen alone because he can't cook to save his life but seeing him break the rules and work hard to learn something just to prepare a breakfast for Yoongi, it makes Yoongi's insides o into jelly.

Yoongi isn't oblivious, and well Taehyung himself admitted it. The younger likes him, Taehyung harbors the biggest crush on Yoongi that at first Yoongi found it annoying because 1) Taehyung is very clingy to people especially to the ones he likes 2) He's very vocal. Yoongi still remembers all the tinmes Taehyung expressed his adoration for the older. 3) Taehyung will do everything for Yoongi, well, not just for Yoongi but you get what he means. And sometimes, it makes Yoongi uncomfortable because Yoongi is so used to being independent but as times go by, it feels okay. He honestly likes it, it feels so good when someone cares for you. And 5) Taehyung is so easy to like

Yoongi isn't joking when he said he finds Taehyung weird ever since he stepped his foot inside bighit's building. The way it's so easy to distract Taehyung, the way he just stares into oblivion when he's not doing anything. Or Taehyung reenacting a kdrama scene while doing laundry. But with all that, Taehyung is just a kid at heart. A kid who loves to be kissed on his head, wants someone to cuddle with, to hold his hand. Taehyung likes loving people and likes being loved. And Yoongi wonders if someone so pure like Taehyung is supposed to be here. Taehyung deserves all the love from this world but the world is just too cruel for him.

Yoongi dropped his fork and tried the coffee. Well...it's good. Something just right, something that Yoongi likes. He put down the mug and leaned on the table and stared at Taehyung who kept eating while telling him a story Yoongi couldn't even understand. It has something to do with him seeing Jimin backhugging Seokjin and peppering kisses all over his nape or something like that.

Yoongi honestly can't hear anything right now cause he's busy taking Taehyung's every single feature. The way he brings his hand up to brush the hair at the back of his head, the way he licks his lips. His adam's apple as he swallow. His fingers that curled up around his mug, the same fingers who love intertwining with Yoongi's own.

Yoongi honestly can't believe someone like Taehyung is real and that he likes Yoongi.

"Hyung? Hyung are you listening to me?" Taehyung pouted and waved his hand in front of Yoongi's face "I think I've told you everything, I even finished my breakfast while your not halfway with yours, is it that bad?"

Yoongi blinked many times and he tried to open his mouth to say something but Taehyung beat him to it "it's fine you know, i won't try it aga--"

Yoongi sighed and held Taehyung face between his hands. "The food is great, the pancake is perfect the coffee is even better but I was just wondering if you taste as good as your food or if you're 100% better" He said it without even thinking but he doesn't care, he just wanted to kiss Taehyung.

Taehyung smiled so widely, his boxy smile taking up a big space from his face "Well there's only one way to find out"

Yoongi wasted no time in pulling Taehyung closer to him and kiss him. Yoongi feels complete, if he feels empty for the past 25 years of his life, he's definitely complete now. And he's right, Taehyung tastes so much better than the food. He's like Yoongi's daily caffeine but so much better, much tastier. They kept kissing for minutes but Yoongi still doesn't want to let go of Taehyung.

Taehyung pulled away and said "I still need to clean up, hyung"

"That can wait" Yoongi answered and pulled Taehyung again for another kiss. He might have imagined it but he felt Taehyung smile so Yoongi smiled as well.

Taehyung is definitely someone Yoongi needs for the rest of his life.

"Can you tell me about you friends, Seokjin?" Ms. Park asked him, Seokjin looked at her and smiled brightly. She was the first one who asked that question, the others said they don't want to know about his friends and kept on making him drink different kinds of medication, gives him a lot of papers to answers and more, but none of them even asked him who his friends are or what they are doing in their life.

"Well...they are the best kind of people I have ever met in my life. They're funny so I'm always smiling when I'm with them. I like...no, I love taking photos and videos of them for memories" Seokjin explained to her and he shyly ducked his head because he thinks he talked too much. He tried to look up and he saw Ms. Park is smiling so he was relieved.

"Really? They make you happy?" Ms. Park asked him and Seokjin nodded enthusiastically.

"You said you take photos and videos of them right? Can you show them to me?" She requested and Seokjin hesitated. What if she's like the others who will judge his friends and say bad things about them? Ms. Park might have notice his silence and the hesitation in his eyes, her eyes soften and she gave him a small reassuring smile "Do you trust me, Seokjin?" She asked carefully.

And Seokjin nodded slowly and reached out for his bag, he brought out his video camera and opened it. Ms. Park suggested they move to the table and brought her laptop and a chord so Seokjin can connect his video camera.

Ms. Park waited patiently for him, with her notebook and a pen on her hands. Seokjin is still hesitant in showing his friends to her but there's this trusting aura around her that makes Seokjin comfortable. It's like the one his friends have.

When he successfully connected the video recorder to the laptop, he opened one video file and looked up to Ms. Park "This was the one when we looked for Taehyung." Ms. Park didn't talk but she nodded encouragingly.

Seokjin clicked the play button and Ms. Park spoke "Can you explain me what will happen? On who is who?" Seokjin nodded to her request, he will gladly share their memories to someone he trusts.

The video started playing

It's been hours but they still haven't found Taehyung. They tried looking everywhere, even in the abandoned building in school but there's no Taehyung there.

The moment Namjoon saw a miscall from the younger, he informes the others that something might have happened to Taehyung. So here they are, looking for him. They also tried calling him but he's not answering any of them.

Seokjin heard Yoongi sigh "I think we need to sit down for a while, we've been walking for hours" the pale man suggested.

"Just say you're old and go" Jimin snorted and Hoseok laughed. Seokjin cant help but smile a little. His friends know how to lighten up the mood.

"I think I know where he is" Namjoon suddenly spoke and they all looked at him "let's go" he continued.

And now here they are, approaching an abandoned swimming pool. Seokjin didn't know there's a place like this in Seoul. Well, that's what you get for being locked up in a big big house for years. While they were walking, Seokjin saw a butterly and he smiled, opened his video camera that he always bring along with him. He approached the little butterly and started recording it. Somehow, this little thing reminded him of the freedom he's been wanting for so long. He sighed.

"There you are! What are you doing here?" Seokjin heard Namjoon. They must have found him already. Seokjin stood up from his place and walked towards the empty pool. He smiled when he heard them laughing and smiled wider when he saw them in a bundle hugging and laughing.

"Oh! There!s Jin-hyung!" Jungkook shouted and pointed at him and all of his other friends waved at him and at the video camera he's holding.

When he approached them, one of them, Seokjin really didn't know at this moment, stole the camera from his hand and started filming. Seokjin hugged Taehyung "Why did you go here? Did something happen again?" He asked worriedly but Taehyung just gave him his trademark, that wide boxy smile so Seokjin just smiled, at least Taehyung's fine right?

"Say hiiii" Jimin excitedly chanted and they all gathered up and started jumping while Jimin's holding the video camera. Seokjin feels so light right now, he feels so happy. He feel like he's in his euphoria.

So many things happened and Seokjin felt tired so he just sat on the edge of the pool, his video camera still on. He laughed so hard as Jungkook pushed the cart, where Yoongi's sitting, so fast, the smaller and pale man started screaming for his life.

"Hyung can I borrow your polaroid camera? Yoongi hyung wanted to have a picture with Hobi-hyung" Jimin said excitedly and pointed at Hoseok who's sleeping with his mouth wide open. He couldn't resist Jimin, even if he felt bad for Hoseok, so he gave him his polaroid.

He watched Yoongi posed beside a sleeping Hoseok and Jungkook ran towards them to join in the photo. He bumped into Yoongi and caused a domino effect so in the end Hoseok woke up and all three of them posed for Jimin. He shook his head at the scenario. His friends are such kids.

He then looked at Namjoon who was sitting down the empty pool, his back on the wall while Taehyung's holding a red spray paint. He scrunched his nose and wondered what the are are they doing. Taehyung started tracing Namjoon's body using the spray paint, the taller man stood up when Taehyung finished but the younger was still sitting and finishing his masterpiece.

"Hyung? You like it?" Taehyung asked Namjoon and when Seokjin took a better look, there were horns added and he giggled when Namjoon tried to kick Taehyung.

When the sun started coming down, they all decided to start a bonfire and drink some beer.

Seokjin's sitting beside Hoseok, Namjoon with JImin, Taehyung's sitting alone and just silent, across them are Yoongi and Jungkook who decided to make a pillow out of Yoongi's lap, the latter's just playing with a lighter. "This is the life I've been wanting!" Jimin exclaimed then giggled, Namjoon smiled at him and bumped his beer bottle to the younger's.

Seokjin pulled out a polaroid photo out of his pocket and turned to look at Hoseok, "Do you think we can go here?" he asked the younger. It took seconds before Hoseok answered him and Seokjin felt relieved when he saw the other man smile and nodded. Seokjin turned to look at the other member's reaction. Taehyung who's been silent the whole time, smiled a little and nodded at him. Namjoon turned to smile to Jimin for his reaction and Jimin just smiled at Seokjin. He then turned to Jungkook and Yoongi.

When they all agreed, they all gathered up in the car and drove to the nearest gas station. "I'll be right back" Namjoon said and made his way to the bathroom, Hoseok went to the store to pack up some food. When Namjoon returned, he filled up the gas, while waiting, Namjoon turned to Seokjin and made a gesture to have his polaroid camera. He pointed it to Seokjin and Seokjin made a peace sign and he felt someone behind him. After Namjoon took the photo and after the gas tank is full, he returned inside and showed them the photo. And Seokjin smiled when he saw it's Yoongi behind him. Namjoon kept the photo in one of Seokjin's car's compartment and Seokjin started driving.

It took them hours to reach the sea but Seokjin thinks it's all worth it when he heard his friends scream. He heard a thud on the back and he shook his head, it's probably Jimin, Jungkook and Taehyung having the time of their lives. Through the rearview mirror he saw Yoongi and Hoseok pull out their head on the window and the started laughing and screaming, Namjoon's just laughing silently at his friends' antics.

When Seokjin pulled the car, they all jumped out of the car and started running, Seokjin reached for his video camera and started taking videos of them laughing, screaming and jumping. Namjoon and him competed in who's the fastest in running and he can't stop laughing when he heard his other five friends scream and cheer for them.

"Hyung take a photo of us!" Jimin screamed and Seokjin happily complied and pulled out his polaroid camera and they all posed for him. Seokjin waited for the photo to be developed and when it did, he smiled happily.

Hours passed and they all just said on top of the car in silence, Seokjin sighed happily and said "Thank you" all of his friends just looked at him and smiled. One of them suggested they sit on the pavement and they all agreed and so they went there. Seokjin's still recording and he saw a movement on top of the thing that was made out of ladders and woods. He pointed the video camera at him.

"Yah! Taehyung-ah come down that's dangerous!" He heard his friends warn Taehyung but Taehyung just looked down at them and smiled.

And the video ended. There was a brief silence, Seokjin took a deep breathe, that's the longest record time he spoke. He spoke too much, he thinks, and ducked his head.

"Do you know why Taehyung ran away, Seokjin?" Ms. Park asked him seconds later. Seokjin looked at her in the eyes "Yes..." he said, in a whisper.

"Tell me." She requested.

"His father beats him, and is always drunk. His sister is away because of school, his mother left them when he was young, promised to be back, but she never did." He said and stared at the wall.

Ms. Park hummed in acknowledgement and wrote everything Seokjin said in her notebook.

"Do you have more videos, Seokjin?"

Seokjin then played another video. "This one was taken on Jiminie's birthday."

It was October 13th. It's a bit chilly already since winter is fast approaching but that won't stop them from doing their mission.

"Are the party hats ready?" Hoseok asked them, he kept fidgeting the whole time so Seokjin put a hand on his shoulder to make him calm down. Hoseok just sighed and stopped fidgeting.

"Hyung, everything's ready, even the cake. The only thing we need right now is Jimin-hyung" Jungkook announced.

"Let's go get Jiminie!" Taehyung happily exclaimed and bounced. Seokjin's happy seeing him like this, all light and happy.

When they got to the hospital, Seokjin prepared his video camera and started recording. When they went inside they saw Jimin alone in the cafeteria. The whole place is silent but when Hoseok and Taehyung started singing 'Happy Birthday' on top of their lungs, that silence was ruined. Seokjin pointed the camera at Jimin who's smiling so widely now. Seokjin noticed there were tears on his eyes and Seokjin's heart soften, Jimin's been alone in this place for awhile now.

They started their mini party, they let Jimin wear a party hat. They're all playing with the confetti, kept on throwing chips everywhere. If someone's here right now, they would be kicked out, but there's none so they're safe. They all decided to run outside and they can't stop laughing at everything that's happening. Hoseok threw a shirt at Jimin and Jimin catch it and started removing his hospital shirt to change in a blue long sleeves one.

When they reached outside, the went to a house and continued their party there. Cans and bottles of beer everywhere, chips on the floor but they don't care, it's a special occasion for them. Seokjin's holding his polaroid camera and kept on taking photos of everyone, Seokjin can't help but laughed behind the camera because they kept on making silly poses.

Hours later, they're all exhausted but they're still smiling and laughing lightly. "Hyungs...thank you so much" Jimin said and Namjoon just ruffled his hair. Seokjin watched as Jimin settled on Hoseok's shoulder, Jungkook on Yoongi's lap while the latter's smiling down at him and playing with his hair. Taehyung and Namjoon are just talking, Namjoon turned towards him and smiled a little.

"Why is Jimin in the hospital, Seokjin?" Ms. Park asked after the video ended, Seokjin sighed, should he tell her?

"He...he's suffering from a mental illness but he didn't tell us what kind. He was put in in that mental institution with Hoseok..." he explained

"Hoseok? Why is he there?" She asked him

"Hoseok, he's also sick like Jimin but he got out because they said he's well but he wanted to get back saying he's still sick but the doctors think he just wanted to be there with Jimin..."

"Do you think Hoseok's sick?" Ms. Park carefully asked him and he looked directly into her eyes.

"I...I don't know but he said he is and he kept on drinking these pills."

"Jimin, is he fine now? What happened to him?"

"We really don't know what happened to him. But he said to us that he once tried to drown himself in a bath tub." Seokjin told her.

Ms. Park nodded and wrote down on her notebook, Seokjin was tempted to take a peak but he stopped himself. "Can you tell me more about your other friends?"

Seokjin nodded "Well...Namjoon's working in a gas station, he seems fine but sometimes he kept on complaining about the society and its people. One time, someone just dropped a dollar bill so Namjoon had to pick it up..." Seokjin paused and shook his head a little "...that's really rude in my opinion."

"Jungkook, is the youngest among all of us, he's really close with Yoongi. They're both really silent and enjoy eating lamb skewers." Seokjin smiled a little "Yoongi's been living alone, his mother died in a fire, his father...we don't know anything about him. Yoongi and Jungkook also play piano."

Ms. Park is looking at him while he's talking and he got conscious again. Is he sharing too much? But Ms. Park nodded and smiled wider. "They seem like they're strong, Seokjin."

Seokjin can't help but smile so big and nodded "They are."

"You told me you have taken polaroid photos. Can you leave them here for a few days?" She requested politely and Seokjin didn't hesitate in giving her the photos. He trusts her.

They both said their goodbyes and promised to meet each other next week. Seokjin's parents are waiting for him outside the room, he smiled when he saw them. His father said they should go to the car first because his mother has to talk to Ms. Park.

"How was it?" Seokjin's mother nervously asks Ms. Park

Ms. Park sigh lightly and showed her notebook "He showed me some videos about his friends and even left their photos."

"Photos? Can I see them?" Mrs. Kim requested and Ms. Park nodded and reached out for the polaroid photos.

Mrs. Kim gasped and tears fell down her eyes when she saw them "they're...they're empty." she looked up at the doctor and the doctor just smiled sadly in return.

They're back here again, sitting on the pavement. They stare at Jungkook who's walking on top of the pavement, his hands on his sides. Sometimes, they forget that Jungkook's still a kid.

"Hyungs!" He smiled at them and the couldn't help but giggle at the younger, his bunny teeth showing. When Jungkook ran to them, they fell into a comfortable silence. Taehyung looked at him and smiled.

"You okay hyung? You're quiet today." Seokjin just smiled and ruffled the younger's hair. "I'm fine, don't worry."

Few more minutes and Seokjin decided to stand up and climbed up to the place where Taehyung once went up to. It's a bit shaky but Seokjin let out a sigh of relief when he got on top safely.

He looked straight ahead and inhaled and then exhaled. He reached for his video camera on his white hoodie's pocket and opened it. He looked down to his friends and recorded them, they're all smiling widely and waving at him, Namjoon even gave him a flying kiss.

Seokjin ended the video and closed his video camera. He looked straight again and smiled. He held his video camera tighter.

For the first time, Seokjin felt contented. Him with his friends. At this moment, he couldn't ask for more.

He smiled wider.

and then he jumped.

i really lilac you

Day 1

This isn't exactly the first day Yoongi saw the handsome bakery owner. It's just that it's the first day of him leaving this thing in front of his bakery. Yoongi sighed and left the stem of daisy on top of the tables outside and went back in his own store. Yes, he knows, it's lame, like who the fuck leaves a stem of daisy outside a bakery? But Yoongi explained to himself that, he has no other choice, and at least he gets to promote his flowers (although of course no one will know it's his there are at least 3 flower shops in the area).

He kept fidgeting when he entered his flower shop, thinking if he should get the flower again and just forget about this whole thing. He sighed and stood up "fuck. forget about this infatuation thing." He went outside, to get the flower back, only to find the hot bakery owner holding the stem of daisy.

Yoongi went back inside as fast as he could and watched the guy through the glasses, waiting for his reaction. And Yoongi did what he expected, he laughed. Of course he will laugh because of the stupid pun that came along with the daisy.

"Hope daisy'll make your day."

What the fuck right?

Day 8

This is the 8th of Yoongi's "Flower Power" project and so far, he thinks it's working, if the smile on the other guy's face is an indicator. This time, he left a red tulip, and of course a pun. A pun shouldn't be forgotten, that's what it makes this whole thing fun (and working but still lame).

"It's been a week, Yoongs. How about stop pining on him and just approach him." Seokjin said while he's busy clicking numbers on his calculator.

"Hyung, there's a reason why I chose this way. And wouldn't it be weird to just approach him and say 'hey i'm that guy who leaves a flower every morning along with those stupid cheesy puns'" Yoongi fired back.

"This whole thing is already creepy, Yoongi. And what? Puns? I thought you hate them?" Seokjin suddenly stopped everything he's doing to look at Yoongi.

Yoongi stayed silent and stood up from his seat "...well i only hate them when it's you who's saying them"

Seokjin gave him that one offended look before answering back "Fuck you, I actually don't know why I'm sticking with you."

"You love me, Hyung."

Moments passed and Yoongi thought Seokjin let the topic go until he asks again "So what pun is it this time?"

Yoongi felt his face heat up, he looked at Seokjin and the older guy looks like he's really waiting for Yoongi to answer

"uh...i think our tulips should kiss"

"oh my god you're the absolute worst Min Yoongi."

Day 14

Day 14 is on the same day as Valentine's Day so Yoongi thought of a very timely pun. Also today,he left a bouquet of blue roses.

After he left the flower on top of the table, he hurriedly went back to his shop because well, he's late. But it's not his fault that he was up until midnight thinking of a great pun for this day. Blame this to that handsome bakery owner.

By the time he closed the door, the guy already arrived so Yoongi watched him through the glass (again, creepy right?)

He saw the guy laugh, and Yoongi can't help but smile. Those boxy grin can literally make his day within seconds. Yoongi was about to turn around when the guy screamed

"Yah I know you're just around the corner...how can I be your Valentine if I can't even see you?" and then he laughed again.

"If it’s bouquet with you, I’d like you to be my Valentine?"

Yoongi really is the absolute worst.

Day 20

This is it, the last day of his "Flower Power" Project and for this final day, he made sure that the lilac's he's taking care of is in full bloom. He's happy he got those lilacs that bloom in February.

He's standing outside the bakery, usual time. He looked at the note again, if this isn't an indication that he really likes that guy, he doesn't know what to do anymore.

He was about to place the flower on top of the table when a deep ass voice spoke behind him.

"I knew it was you."

Yoongi literally froze for a few seconds. It took him a lot of effort to turn around and face the person.

Holy shit.

Yoongi's sure it will be his last day on Earth. He will die today. He should talk to Seokjin to plan his funeral, and take care of his flower shop.

"It's you right? The one who kept leaving flowers every morning? I must admit you really have a creative mind." and he smiled.

Oh god he smiled. He smiled. Yoongi's in his gay panic mode and he doesn't know what to do.

But of course, Yoongi's still a man, so he cleared his throat and said "Uh..yeah? I think that's me."

The guy chuckled before getting the lilac out of Yoongi's hold. Oh shit.

"I really lilac you" the man before him smiled after he read the note. That same boxy smile that makes his day.

Yoongi thinks it's already a reflex of his body when he smiled, because come on, his smile is pretty contagious.

"I'm Taehyung" the handsome bakery owner--Taehyung said and stretched out his hand and Yoongi wasted no time in holding his hand (fuck everything he waited for this moment)

"Yoongi" Yoongi made sure he smiled so bright, his gums are showing, fuck it, he doesn't care about anything now.

"Uh..do you want to come in? Maybe have a drink and a cake?" Taehyung offered and Yoongi accepted it because, again, he waited for this moment.

Yoongi sat on one of the chairs and waited for Taehyung to come back. When he did, he brought Yoongi a cup of coffee and a piece of cake.

"You didn't have to bother you know, coffee's enough"

"Well, I think it's a repay for all those flowers?" Taehyung smiled at him, again, oh god he's gorgeous Yoongi might combust anytime.

Yoongi took a sip from the coffee when Taehyung suddenly blurted out a pun Yoongi didn't expect.

"So Yoongi, dough you wanna get down & dirty tonight?"

Yoongi isn't joking when he literally choked on his coffee.

"What?!"

And then Taehyung, just laughed, he fucking laughed.
