This is an update that doesn’t really look like an update but here it is anyway:D

Hello my fellow tumblr friends, I am very much still alive and (albeit quiet) still very present here on tumblr:> I lurk around everyday, reading your comments and reblogs as well as my friends’ posts very often. In fact, I have a few reblogs on prompts I’ve taken a liking for, sitting not so neatly in my drafts.

Anyway, you might be wondering, what’s the update? Well, early this month I jokingly said if I reached 300 followers, I shall rise up like a lost warrior and defeat my writer’s block to resurrect this forgotten kingdom of a tumblr blog. Funnily enough, 5 days post that thought, I gained 7 new followers :D

I am very much hyped to write once again and boiii am I starting to oil my gears. I may or may not continue the craze of villain and heroes (the craze that started this journey and) but I sure will be writing ^^.

Well that’s a little announcement here and there and who knows, maybe within this month, the wonderful month of March that signals spring is coming, my little blog of a kingdom shall see its first flower blossom, sometime soon?

Hello anon 👋

Unfortunately due to the huge load of schoolwork during my second term as well as the awful writer block, I am currently on hiatus (even though I still have 30+ drafts and still note down random prompts every now and then.)

But fear not for I still read your asks (like this one) and I will make a come back one day soon ^^ so if you’d like, feel free to drop an ask or a scene/prompt, even continuations… anything will do :p

For now I shall finish my 6k+ words research methodology final paper and until this account starts pumping out writings again (haha), check out my other works or leave an ask for the future ^^

And I’d rather you not paid for hugs they should be free ^^ also because I’m having COVID and I don’t want to infect others even though I have been deprived of any touchies for an entire week 🥺🥺 though I would certainly get 2 cups of water, maybe more. Gotta stay hydrated guysss :D

Being caged between the wall behind them and Villain in front of them, Hero could hardly breathe.

“Look at you,” Villain cooed, “All tensed up.” How could they not be? Villain was too close. Even though this wasn't the first time it happened, whenever it did... Hero just forgot how to breathe. “Relax, I won’t hurt you."

Of course they won’t. Their fights were mere cat and mouse chases, those oftentimes they were the mouse and... this situation happened.

“So, tell me,” Villain inched in even closer, “What’s the distraction for today?”

With the smirk on their face and their hand slowly moving towards Hero’s cheek, Hero swore any more second of eye contact would cause them to spontaneously combust.

"Aww, don't look away now," fingers went trailing down Hero's cheek and under their chin, lifting their head up with minimal effort. God Villain's hand was warm.

Once again, their eyes met, locked and unwavering. Hero dared not shift their focus anywhere away from Villain's eyes. Distraction, huh? Had Villain ever considered that they were the distraction? And not just for today, but like always had been?

"So~?" Villain's nectarous words slip into Hero's ears, making their breath hitch. Hero's fists tightened, and before either of them knew it, Hero had launched themself into Villain's chest and squeezed them a hug.

"Oh my-" the impact was large enough to make Villain stumble on their feet and almost lost their balance. Almost.

Hero buried their face into the nook of Villain's shoulder, nuzzling their nose into that warmth they'd longed to feel, to embrace. It took Villain a second to react to the sudden... hug but within no time, one hand was around Hero's waist, pulling them even closer and the other was on their head, patting and caressing their hair.

"I've always wanted to do this," a whisper so faintly Villain thought they had misheard. But with the hands grasping the fabric of their costume ever so tightly, they were sure they heard it right.

With their chin on Hero's head and hand still playing with their soft silky hair, Villain let out a chuckle, murmuring a "Me too" in return.

Snippet 8 (S.2)

TW: Poison

“Poisoning your own partner, haha,” Lover gave a weak smile, “I should have known nothing good comes out of you.”

“Honey, a-are you okay? What are you talking about?” Villain, who had just come home, shook in fear, confusion, worry and a mix of other emotions. Dropping the bad of groceries to the floor, they rushed towards their love sitting next to the toilet and the... mess of blood.

“No, get away from me,” they spat, pushing Villain a bit too hard. “I thought you loved me and-” they choked up another gulp of blood. “And-”

“Hey hey, stop talking,” Villain hushed as calmly as their composure could possibly hold the bomb of emotions inside them. There were so many questions going on in their head. How did Lover know they were Villain? What poison?

“Here, drink this up,” they took a bottle of water from the grocery bag on the ground.

“Ha, how am I supposed to know that’s not poisoned either?” A deadly smile, full of hatred and anger.

“Honey, what poison are you talking about?” Villain stared into those raging eyes.

“Even when I’m dying, you’re still playing dumb?” Lover wiped the blood from the corner of their lips, a defeated smirk almost escaping. “The cake you sent me just half an hour ago,” They tried to stand up but another wave of content decided to spill out the moment they gained their balance.

Villain’s eyes widened, fixed on every movement Lover made. What- the piece of cake on the table? They never bought that?

“Ah, but of course, which murderer would confess their motives right in front of the victim?” Another attempt to stand up, once again in vain.

“Hey- Honey??” Villain barely caught Lover’s wrist and pulled them in their embrace before the latter fell. With panic quickly clouding their clear head, whatever came out of their mouth next was instant reflexes.

“Lover, I never sent you cake? Hey, hey stay with me- No no no hang in there my love-” Villain quickly scrambled to their feet, bridal-carrying their half-conscious partner. “I’ve got you my lov-”

“You’ve really grown weak, what a shame,” a new voice echoed from behind them, making Villain freeze in their track.

“That I had to take care of that weakness myself.”
