It's this simple people!!
my mom hugged me and said "you're my gir- my wonderful child" and i was just so flabbergasted just so so surprised (in a good way). i'm really lucky to have this bit of support even though i live in a country where it's literally fucking illegal to say ANYTHING about lgbt+ (not usa).
im out to her as nonbinary/questioning for maybe 3 days and she, having never met anyone like me, already does better then most people

Still loving someone, even when they've stopped loving you, is one of the worst ways to torture yourself.

oh hey lmao since we're at the starting stages of a trans genocide in the US, I wanna remind everyone that they will try to erase this. They will try to rewrite history so that this never happened, or everyone was on our side in the beginning, or whatever makes them look better. They're already trying to re-write history and erase us from the start, with bills that make it illegal to teach queerness in classrooms. We cannot let this happen. We cannot let them erase our history.
We're lucky we live in the age of the Internet where nothing is truly erased. We gotta use this to our advantage.
Be loud. Be angry. Do not let them erase us.

Conservatives finally say the quiet part out loud:
They would rather have a dead child than a trans child.

Life is tough.
We're all living on a tiny space rock floating endlessly in an endless void.
We are all going mad together.

America is just the first step, if you don't live in America you should be just as scared because Europe is already starting to get bolder because of what is happening in the US.
We need to act now or we will all be eradicated.
things are so dark for trans folks right now, and i hate waking up every day to see nothing but fear and depression in our comunity. id like it if you could flood my ask box or even reblog this with the last bit of gender euphoria you had, no matter how big or small.

When they start disrespecting your opinion or you as a whole. That's when you get a sudden rush throughout your body and the emerging urge to give them the same treatment.
That's when you should gather all the strength you can, and try to stay as respectful as you can.
They will either see how calm you are and calm down as well, realizing how rude they were.
Or they will keep insulting you. They won't stop unless they feel "accomplished". That's when you just stare blankly at them for a minute or two and then just politely exit the conversation.
If they don't respect you then you don't have to waste your time on them.
But you should always try to be the bigger person. Do not stoop down to their level, if you do that then you're only insulting your own intelligence.

It's a hard truth, but it's a truth nonetheless that: in order to improve your life, you need to break the cycle, you need to get out of your comfort zone and do something different. It will most definitely be hard, you will get tired. You will feel like giving up.
But if you keep moving forward, after all that struggle and sweat. You will reach your goal.
and then...
it will all be okay.

No matter where you are
No matter how alone you may feel
No matter how much hate there is around you
Do not give up
Keep going, no matter what
KEEP GOING
Because no one else will
Because you are stronger than that
Stay alive, because in doing so, you are ensuring a better life for the next generation of your community. The people who will struggle with the same things as you.
Be the hero you needed.
Your Journey Does Not end here
Stay Alive

I asked Hades "Do you think life is a blessing or a curse?"
"I... Don't know" He said in his usual monotone voice.
"Do you think people enjoy being alive?" I asked him again, curiously.
"... don't... know" He said slowly this time.
Finally I said "What do you think is the point of life?"
"To Live"

Silence is free. Patience is not.
Hate takes energy. To sit there idle does not.
To actively love someone takes commitment. To go out of your way to insult them is even harder.
People are taking away our rights for no good reason. They are expending so my energy into hating a community that just wants to live happily. They could've been spending this energy into promoting love or even trying to stop the hate that is plaguing the world right now.
They could be stopping blood from being spilt. Instead they're giving some people more of a reason to do harm.
Politicians do not have their priorities straight. Neither do we, because we voted for them.
If this is what we're doing with our power, then what will happen when someone discovers something as big as nuclear energy? A technology that is way too advanced for us to use responsibly.
Humanity does not deserve any type of scientific progress, until we are able to accept and embrace what makes us different, what makes us human.
