Hello Tumblr~
So... for the past few months I have not been posting anything bc i went in a hole for a while bc I was spending all my time writing a 10k Kacchako soulmate au. and I would like someone to read it and tell me if there are any glaring continuity errors, or other problems like grammar and bad wording.
I don't have a lot of experience with peer review, and am open to a bit more general criticism about what scenes/events should be changed, or if I should add some scenes to help make the narrative better, bc I really want this fic to be as good as I can make it.

MariChat
Marinette looks out from her balcony at the sprawling expanse of Paris.
There’s the Eiffel tower, towering above the city, and there’s all the other sights, along with the black, starless sky, but she isn’t really interested in any of it.
She leans over her balcony, looking in the direction Chat Noir usually comes, waiting for him.
She can enjoy the skyline and her thoughts on her own, but Chat had said that he was coming tonight. With that knowledge she can’t just focus on the skyline that she’s known for her entire life, she can’t stop herself from looking over, waiting for the highlight of her night.
The development was a bit strange, when she first met Chat, he’d just been her annoying hero partner, constantly flirting with her and all that. Then she met him as Marinette and their relationship changed. Now they were friends, bonded through their mutual unattainable crushes.
For a time she’d felt guilty about the entire situation, with her being the one who was rejecting him. Later, she was able to compartmentalize it, realizing that though Chat does have feelings for Ladybug, he knows that the chances of her ever returning his feelings are low, but he’s still willing to shoot his shot every time he can.
“Hello, Princess.” Chat breathes into her neck.
She immediately turns around, smiling, though she knows there’s a slight exasperation and sass to her expression, “Really, Chat?”
Chat shrugs, a smile on his face as he moves away. She’s a bit disappointed at the distance, but she’s used to it.
“So, how was your day?” Chat asks.
Marinette gives him an answer and they easily transition from one thought to another, falling into their usual routine.
Eventually they reach a lull, and Marinette asks a question that’s been bugging her for a good while.
“How’s it going with you and Ladybug?”
Chat shrugs, “She told me that her job as a hero is to defeat Hawkmoth, unless some other supervillain comes along, she’s retired so… I guess nothing. What about you and your lover boy?”
“My… lover boy?”
“Your Ladybug, the boy you’ve been pining over? The person we bonded over?”
“Oh, yeah…” Marinette trails off, she hasn’t thought about Adrien in a while.
“What?”
Marinette shrugs, “I just… I haven’t thought about him in a while. I think…” She looks off, thinking it over, because she really hasn’t thought about Adrien, and now that she thinks about it, she hasn’t been awkward around him for a while, not since they defeated Hawkmoth, and it’s been a month since then. “I don’t think I like him anymore.” Her expression turns wistfully surprised as she breathes out, “I don’t like Adrien Agreste.”
“What?” Chat Noir says, his eyebrows are raised. “Wh-why would you like Adrien Agreste?”
Marinette laughs, it starts out small, but slowly grows until she can barely breathe. It takes her a good few minutes to be able to speak again, “H-who else would I be talking about? I said I liked the prettiest and handsomest boy in Paris, who else would I be talking about but The Adrien Agreste?”
“I-I don’t know.” Chat Noir replies, his expression still surprised. “H-how long do you think you’ve stopped liking him?”
Marinette shrugs, “I don’t know… I actually haven’t thought about it. A few months before, I promised that I’d stop trying to pursue him, but I’d done that a million times before, but it just seemed to stick that time…” She drifts off as she looks into Chat’s feline eyes.
He watches her intently, clearly eager to hear her continue, but she isn’t interested, she’d prefer to hear about whatever Chat has to say, or just look in his brilliant green eyes all night…
Oh. That’s why she stopped liking Adrien.
 …
Chat Noir thinks he regrets not asking Marinette out as Adrien a few months ago. Which is a very weird thing to do, because he didn’t think he was interested in Marinette before then, but now he can’t stop thinking about the now-defunct prospect of being with her in that way.
About how he could’ve asked her out, how he could be going out to Andre’s ice cream stand with her, how he could hold her hand as they walk around some place, any place.
He doesn’t know how this is happening. His feelings for Ladybug don’t feel any different. Speaking of which—
“That went well, didn’t it?” Ladybug says as she strolls with him upon the rooftops of Paris, “We kept our privacy, but we were able to get them satisfied enough that they won’t question your late-night roof-top runs and my absence.”
Chat Noir nods. “Yeah.” He says absentmindedly.
“Chat, are you okay?”
“I… yeah, I’m fine, I just… feel a bit strange. There’s this girl I talk to sometimes, as Chat Noir. We bonded over our mutually unreciprocated feelings. She told me a while ago that her feelings have… left, that she doesn’t like him anymore, and in the same breath she revealed that it was… that it was me. That she’d liked my civilian identity. Now I can’t stop thinking about it, how I could’ve been with her just a few weeks ago, and I’m regretting not doing it now.”
“S-so you think you like her, like you want to… to date her?” Ladybug asks, her voice trembling for no reason that Chat can fathom.
Chat shrugs, “I suppose so.”
“Th-that’s good. Well you should, youshouldprobably, probably go on her roof tonight. I’ll— I hope you have a good time!” And swung away, her usual cool attitude strangely destroyed.
He smiled as she left, charmed at her rare awkwardness.
When he came to Dupain-Cheng roof, the place was… a bit busy.
Marinette was scurrying around moving things about in a mad haste. She looked over to find somewhere to put the mess she held in her arms, only to accidentally finally notice him perched on the fence of her balcony.
“Oh, uh… h-hi Chat Noir. I-I didn’t think you’d be over here so soon.” She replied, her voice trembling and her face flushed.
Chat nodded, “Ladybug said that I should come over tonight, did you talk to her about something?”
“I, uh… y-you could say, butalsonotreallyit’smorelike…” she stopped herself, and took a deep breath and let it out.
She looked to the ground and didn’t say anything.
“Did Ladybug tell you that I’m–”
“I know you’re Adrien Agreste.” Marinette interrupts, “And… and I like you, as Chat, as your pun-filled, stupid, flamboyant self with all your… stupid bells and all. The fact that you’re Adrien isn’t why I like you… I like you for… for this side of you. I-I’d like to go out with you.”
“W-would you be okay going out with Adrien too?”
She looked up, a smile on her face, which in a second turned into a chuckle, he smiled at the sight.
“Yeah, I’d be okay with that.” Marinette replied. “It would be useful to see who I’m dating outside of them coming to my balcony at night.”
“And, uhh… I still like Ladybug.”
Marinette’s expression grew confused.
“Would you be okay with that?”
Marinette opened her mouth, then closed it, her expression becoming concentrated.
“Tonight you… you told me that you were Adrien.” She replies.
“I… didn’t?” he replies.
“No, you did, after you finished you and Ladybug’s final interview.”
“But–”
Marinette shook her head, a few turns longer than anyone usually would. She reshuffled the things in her arms, and tucked her hair behind one of her ears, and looked up to him, her lips were pursed in what could almost be a frown, and her eyebrows were furrowed together. She tilted her head to let the hair she’d tucked fall by her ear, her trademark black earrings still in place.
“Why would you having feelings for Ladybug trouble me?”
Plain earrings.
“Are… are you Ladybug?” Chat asks.
“Yes,” Marinette replies, “I am Ladybug. So… would you go out with me?”
“Yeah.”

Soooo- what's your favourite trope?~
if you wanna pick the ship I have a different poll that you can find... somewhere.
Also Modern/College AU includes coffeeshop, band, florist x tattoo artist, like all the types of dynamics that appear in modern aus when the characters aren't in college.

He was beautiful like that.
Todoroki wasn’t always fine, when they first met, Katsuki had hated him.
Katsuki’d hated his power, even at half his potential, Todoroki was able to easily wipe out the competition, easily surpass Katsuki without giving one fuck about it. Emotionless in the face of his superiority.
Then they failed the provisional license exam, and things changed.
Katsuki dumped his feelings, he opened up, and Todoroki… Todoroki started acting all buddy-buddy. He called Katsuki his friend, not caring what Katsuki had to say on the matter.
It was annoying, but eventually it grew less grating, like Shitty Hair and the idiots.
But unlike them, they didn’t end up in this position.
“Thanks for dinner.” Todoroki, or Shouto, as he should really call him, says as he sits next to him on the couch. He leans against his side, even though it isn’t an armchair, and there’s enough space for him to sit comfortably with a good foot between them.
Katsuki hums in response, “You’re staying over, right?”
Shoto shrugs, “I guess so, I haven’t stayed overnight in a while. Yaoyorozu asked how things were going. I think she thought our fake relationship was going downhill. Though this couch is uncomfortable.”
He turns to look in Katsuki’s eyes. Katsuki returns the gesture, and it goes quiet for a second.
Soon after he’d finally debuted as a pro-hero, after he’d finally hired PR people, an annoying prerequisite to being a high-level public hero, he’d been told his image was too sharp, aggressive and angry, he didn’t appeal to most, he lacked most likeable aspects of his ‘archetype’, he was the bad boy that didn’t go to bars, the playboy that never brought anyone home. It didn’t fit.
‘All your rough exterior and rude personality seems to hide, is that you really really care about your work. You’re like a remake of Endeavor, but more… villain I suppose.” Was something that was said to him once, and restated in different words many other times.
To repair this ‘issue’ they decided to go for the most hair-brained scheme imaginable.
“Is there anyone you’d be comfortable getting into a fake relationship with?” His PR lady had asked him once. “You could just handle it like a normal relationship, not say anything to the public, just bring someone along to certain events, you don’t even have to say you’re dating them, just be… a bit nicer to them than you would be to other people, hang out with them in private, between only you two. At least that, which isn’t a lot.”
Katsuki agreed to it because it meant his advertisement deals would be better, because it turned out most money that heroes make isn’t their actual salaries, but cuts for appearing in commercials.
Fucking stupid.
Around the same time, Shoto complained about getting too many romantic fan letters, a problem for every young, heartthrob hero and basically no one else. Katsuki answered by complaining about his own PR team and their insistence that he get in a relationship, and Shoto replied that he’d do it.
And now they’re here, a few months later, in Katsuki’s apartment together.
“Could I sleep with you?” Shoto asks.
“Do you know what the fuck you just said?” Katsuki replies back, because even now, two years after UA, Shoto still doesn’t understand some elements of informal language, mostly in more… faux pas contexts but still.
It takes Shoto a second to realize, “Oh, no, I wasn’t saying we should have sex. I was asking if we could share your bed, you said it was a double, right?”
“Yeah.” Katsuki replies. “Sure, you can sleep on it with me.”
“Good.”
They both stand up and walk to Katsuki’s bedroom. Neither of them say anything, and it’s comfortable. Ever since their second year in UA it’s always been comfortable, when it’s just the two of them.
Todoroki comes with him to hero galas and every other press event, to keep up the charade, but it isn’t grating, he stands by his side, he’s someone Katsuki wants to be around, and stays with him as he’s tossed between reporters that go between political to vapid in a second.
“Do you have anything I can wear?” Shoto asks.
“Yeah,” Katsuki replied easily, then told him where he stowed his clothes.
He walks out, probably out to take a shower before sleeping.
Katsuki looks back to the bed. He’s got enough pillows to make a wall between them, but it’s too much effort. He doesn’t care if they get tangled up together in the night. Todoroki won’t say anything about it.
Shoto returned, his wet hair had fallen limply over his face, his left side taking on a darker shade of red, more crimson than usual, contrasting even more with his white hair.
He chose to wear one of Katsuki skull t-shirts and black sweatpants. The clothes didn’t fit as well on him, the former a bit too wide and the latter a bit too short.
They laid down, and fell asleep.
Katsuki opened his eyes to Shoto with his arms around him. He was still asleep, like he usually woke up later in the mornings than Katsuki.
Katsuki tried to move away, but Todoroki tightened his hold. Katsuki sighed. He had the day off today, he could stay in bed and wait for Todoroki to wake up, but if it took too long, he would definitely get him up.
As he laid in his arms, Katsuki felt Todoroki’s breath rise and fall. He looked mostly the same as when he was awake, his face still mostly emotionless. His hair was a bit more tousled, the red and the white mixing together. His limbs were a bit more limp, but not by much.
As he waited for Shoto to finally get up, Katsuki carefully moved a few strands of his hair around, back with their respective color, then he ruffled it up again, it looked better messy.
He was beautiful like that.

Huh, Polyamory
It’s the weekly Friday movie night. Mina’s always found it fun, the class has a good mix of horrible movie taste, mediocre and downright awful, so it’s a russian roulette of quality. She and the rest of the Bakusquad can laugh at bad ones, and swoon at the good ones (minus Bakugo), but every once in a while the movie will just be boring.
That’s how it is tonight, or at least that's what Mina thinks. The rest of the Bakusquad is enraptured somehow, but Mina can’t look at the screen without feeling her eyes slowly close…
She blinks, quickly looking around to find something entertaining. Her attention is caught by Yaomomo talking with Iida and Todoroki over in the kitchen. They’re working on the refreshments. Todoroki holding the stove-top popcorn maker that Momo made after Bakugo had complained to everyone about how shitty microwave popcorn tastes.Todoroki keeps the pot warm. His eyes flit between watching Momo and Iida, who are making light conversation at his sides. Mina can’t hear what they’re saying over the movie and the class’s talk.
She doesn’t take it to mean much, the three class rich kids being responsible. She sorta envies how not bored they are. She looks back to her friends, hoping that the movie has finally become interesting.
Eventually the movie finishes and everyone leaves except for the popcorn trio, who stay around to clean up, shepherding the rest of the class out. Realizing that she needs to go to the bathroom, Mina returns. Annoyingly, the only ones in the dorm are on the bottom floor.
When the elevator opens she finds Todoroki, Yaomomo still there. They’re talking between each other about something or other at the back of the couch by the TV.They greet her, then go back to their conversation. Todoroki says for her to keep quiet, since Iida is sleeping.Mina sees him sleeping on the couch below the two of them as she turns to go to the bathroom.
It’s strange, she thinks, and if she comes across something else, she might think of talking to Toru about it…
Toru knows she’s on her phone too much. Right before bed, she spends an hour on it, and as everyone says, it does affect her ability to sleep.Which is why she is up at 10 at night(it wouldn’t usually be late for her, but curfew is at 9), wandering out to the common room. She’s in the nude, for stealth reasons. It’s useful to be invisible like that. She can practice being silent as she wanders around, bored out of her mind, but unable to sleep. She ends up in the common room. Surprisingly, Todoroki and Yaomomo are there.
They’re sipping tea together and talking. There’s a faint blush on Yaomomo’s face. Toru can’t help but eavesdrop, and while there isn’t anything explicitly romantic, they stand close together, and Todoroki rewarms her cup.
Yaomomo smiles, and kisses Todoroki on the cheek.
Todoroki gives a small smile in return, and says something back, but Toru leaves before she hears. She’s gotta tell Mina about this in the morning.
She collects all the girls in the class together (not including Yaomomo of course).
“I think there’s something going on between Yaomomo and Todoroki. I saw them together last night, after the movie night was over. They’re clearly into each other.” Toru interrupts Mina's explanation. “They’re like— the perfect couple. The hot guy and girl with the good grades. The high school sweethearts that’ll make it through the adversity of blooming adulthood. Then, they’ll blossom into the number one hero couple! There’s no way you can’t see it, right? Todoroki is clearly into Momo, right?”
Kyoka, Ochako and Tsu look at her with tired, incredulous expressions. Mina looks intrigued.
“I don’t think Todoroki is into anyone.” Kyoka replies, “Though I can’t really tell his emotions very well. Also, I don’t think Momo thinks about him as more than a friend. She hangs out with Iida more. You know Todoroki better, Ochako. What do you think?”
“I agree with you about Todoroki. He’s never expressed any attraction to anyone. Though… I don’t really know what he’d look like if he was interested. Even with that, I don’t think he’s into Yaomomo. And I don’t think she’s with Iida either. They’re class representatives, they have to work together all the time. Besides, I don’t think Iida is into anyone either, both Todoroki and him are too focused on training to be heroes.” Ochako rejects.
“I… disagree.” Tsuyu says, “Everyone thinks that whenever Iida goes on a job he’s training his quirk, but once I saw him with Todoroki on his back. He was cooling Iida’s pipes so he could run farther. I think they do that often, and that can’t be training, when Iida trains his engines he always pushes them to the limit.”
“If Iida’s into anyone, it’s Yaomomo.” Tsuyu returns, “Once, I went to get her from a meeting about representative stuff with Iida and they were just talking about… random stuff. And they were holding hands.”
“Last night I saw them. Together. And Yamomo kissed Todoroki. On the lips! Do you have anything to beat that?” Toru said, opposing the idea.
“Iida was on the couch.” Mina replies.
“Well– well that can be explained easily,” Toru answers, uncertainty clear in her voice.
“We could just ask them.” Tsuyu responds. “I’ll ask Todoroki, since I’m sparring with him in—” She checks her phone, “Ten minutes.”
“Good plan,” Mina says, and everyone agrees.
“Are you dating anyone, specifically Momo or Iida?” Tsuyu asks Todoroki as they return to the dorms after sparring together in USJ.
Todoroki takes a second to respond, “That is what most couples do before getting married. Like the first trial period, before you get engaged and then get married. Correct?”
“I suppose that’s one way to look at it.” Tsuyu answers, “Though many people don’t date with the intention of marriage, but many people assume that if someone dates someone else for a long time they’ll get married.”
“Okay. Then, no.” Todoroki replies.
“Then what is your relationship with them?”
“We’re friends.” Todoroki says, he smiles, and his eyes gleamed.
“And that’s what happened.” Tsuyu says. “Though sometimes Todoroki is very oblivious to social cues. Kaminari said a basic sexual innuendo and it took Todoroki an hour to figure out what he meant.”
“I’ll ask Momo then.” Kyoka answers.
“Are you dating Tenya or Shoto?” Kyoka asked Momo.
Her face flushed in answer, “Is—is it obvious?”
“No, you’re pretty good at hiding it, but sometimes you slip up. But uh… which one?”
“Both.” She responds, smiling.
“So we have one for and one against.” Mina responds, “Ochako, you can ask Iida so we can figure out who’s wrong.”
“Are you dating Yaomomo and Todoroki?” Ochako asks.
Iida’s face flushes slightly, but it might be just the question.
“No, it would be unprofessional to date one of my classmates.” Iida responds.
“Yaomomo said she was dating you.” Ochako says, “So me and the other girls want confirmation.”
“Then… yes. I am dating Yaoyorozu.” Iida responds, figuring that since Momo was okay with admitting it, he might as well come clean.
“What about Todoroki?”
“Same with him.”
“Is Todoroki dating Yaoyorozu?”
“Yes.”
Ochako nods, not knowing how else to answer.
“You’ve all been gathered here, in Kyoka’s room for an important discussion.” Mina yells out. “Since she’s soundproofed her room, it’s the best place to go for privacy, since you all seemed to want to keep your relationship private.” Mina further explains.
The pink-haired girl entertained an audience of eight people, made up of the previous gossip group, along with the couple, threesome? trio? group in question.
“You see—”
“Todoroki said that you two are his friends,” Tsuyu interrupts, then stands up, “We should go now.”
“But—”
Toru grabs Mina and along with Tsuyu and Ochako, they leave the room.
“Don’t wreck my room.” Kyoka says, “I just want you to know that, I don’t know what base Momo is with you guys, but I just want you all to know that. My room isn’t your playpen.”
Then she left, leaving behind an awkward atmosphere.
“You said we aren’t friends?” Todoroki asks them both. “You don’t love me?” There’s a sad look on his face, Iida and Momo flinch at it, saddened by Todoroki’s distrust in them.
“It’s not like that.” Iida starts, making wild gestures with his hands, “We thought—”
“We think of you… differently than a friend. We still love, it’s just that we do it like…” Momo takes a moment to give herself some confidence. “Like a lover.”
“A lover?” Todoroki asks. “Like we’re dating?”
“Yes.” Iida replies, relieved.
“That’s what we thought you thought of us as.” Momo explains. “Would… would you like that to be what we are to each other.”
“I… I think so.”
They all smile.
“Good.”

TodoMomo +Iida
Strangely, Todoroki acts like nothing happened, even after the kiss. Sometimes he’ll end up close to her, standing by her side with less than a yard between them, but he used to do that before. He hasn’t come up to her and to talk about it either.
There’s another stressful exam that comes up, and like before, Momo ends up in the kitchen at the dead of night.Todoroki comes again. He gets tea, except this time he boils it himself.
“Quirk practice, and it’s quicker.” He says, handing her cup back. As she takes it, the heat from the cup surprises her, and she quickly sets it upon the table. She’ll burn her hands if she touches it for any longer. While she did so, Todoroki began heating his own tea.
“About… before, when you kissed me… did you like it?” Momo asks.
“Yes.” Todoroki answers, “It was nice. I liked it more than I thought I would.” He says, then adds, “Do you want to do it again?”
“Yes!” Momo answers. Then she flushes, realizing how excited she sounded. She takes a deep breath, and evens her voice before continuing, “I would really like that. Would you… like to hang out, the two of us? Go out sometime and get something to eat together?”
“Yes.” Todoroki answers in his monotone voice, “Who would be coming?”
“Just the two of us.” Momo replies. She isn’t too surprised by Todoroki thinking about bringing other people on the date. “Just us.”
Todoroki nods, “Okay.”
It goes well, they go to a small restaurant and the food is nice. Todoroki makes good conversation, and they end up making out at Momo’s door before retiring for the night.
It’s a bit strange how secretive their relationship is, but Momo doesn’t really want to tell anyone either.
Not because it ruins the quiet atmosphere, but mostly because she doesn’t want Mina to gossip about it, she doesn’t want to deal with the messiness of her barging in.
Shoto likes being around Iida and Yaoyorozu. Their presence is comforting. He likes just spending his evening with them, talking and such.
He loves it even.
Tenya groans as he collapses on the ground by the trail around the UA campus. He stretched, as usual, put in all the precautions, but still hit his limit way too soon. This hadn’t been one of his training runs, the point hadn’t been to push himself to his limit. It had been to de-stress.
He couldn’t run now. He’d just have to sit here for a while, waiting for his engines to cool enough for him to comfortably walk back to the dorms. He’d wanted a soothing run, just watching the world pass him by as he focused on taking the next step.
He looked over and saw Todoroki jogging towards him. He slowed to a walk and came up to Tenya, kneeling down by his side, “Are you okay?” Todoroki asked.
“I overheated on my run.”
“We did a lot of quirk training today. You should’ve already worked yourself to the max today, why are you doing even more?”
“This wasn’t meant to be quirk training. I was going on a run after a stressful day. Bakugo was acting up more than usual and…” Tenya didn’t finish, he wasn’t going to tell Todoroki about Yaoyorozu, that was too… personal. “I wanted to run faster and I overestimated my abilities.”
“Would you like me to use my quirk on your legs?” Todoroki offers.Tenya nods as the other boy puts his right hand on one of Tenya’s hot calves.Tenya groaned at the comfortably cool feeling.
After a bit, Todoroki moved his hand over the other calf. Tenya finds Todoroki nice to have around. He’s quiet, and when he does speak, he usually has something worthwhile to add to the conversation. Even when he doesn’t say anything, it’s comforting to be with. His presence is strangely soothing.
Todoroki breaks the silence. “I could go with you next time, if you’d like. I could come and cool you off when necessary, though I won’t be able to get to you very quickly, since you’re much faster than me, with your quirk. I could…” He trails off, staring at somewhere around Tenya’s collarbone.
“What are you suggesting Todoroki?” Tenya asks curiously.
“I could go on your back.” Todoroki responds, “If that isn’t uncalled for. Actually, that’s not a very good idea. I’d have to use my foot, and it would be awkward to try and cool your left engine like that. I probably weigh too much for you to comfortably carry on your back anyways.”
“No, from physical training, I can carry two adult sized people with some trouble. Carrying you for a short run shouldn’t be an issue. Your quiet nature will also be helpful. I find your presence calming. I think that’s actually a pretty good plan. I’ll notify you the next time I go on one of these runs, we can see if it works.” Tenya replied.
It does, after a few weeks the most soothing part of the run isn’t the run itself, but Todoroki. It wasn’t that running with him on his back wasn’t easy, it was as hard as Tenya expected. Todoroki had some trouble getting his right leg up against Tenya’s calf, but that was resolved with practice.
Instead something new, though very much related, because Tenya’s largest problem.
The fact that Todoroki is, quintessentially, a very attractive person. He’s smart, dependable and easy going. The fact that falling for Todoroki was an issue was not something that Tenya thought was going to come up as such a problem.
Tenya has known that Todoroki is what Mina would so eloquently describe as a ‘ladies man who does not seem to realize his position’. He didn’t think he’d fall for it, but he certainly has.
It comes up at the most random moments, a stray thought reminding him of something that the other boy said. He doesn’t feel flustered when Todoroki climbs onto his back, it’s so much of a routine that it’s like shaking hands, but then whenever he says something in his ear, he feels his face warm, and then Todoroki asks if he’s alright.
Overall it’s mostly just tiring, and adds an annoying amount of extra stress and embarrassment to his routine. What’s even more perplexing is that none of his feelings for Yaoyorozu have gone away. He still liked her.
Her smile still made him more happy than his friends’ and she popped into his mind an inordinate amount of times a day. He still thought about her in an… inappropriate manner when the situation…leant itself to that.
It was strange. That he was having feelings for two people at once. He’d have to research that.
Now, Momo has always had a good relationship with Iida. They’ve been classmates for quite some time, and have had to constantly work together because of their duties as class representatives.
She likes spending time with him. They have similar interests, and she finds his little quirks funny. That isn’t the issue. The issue is how much she enjoys spending time with him. It’s more than she likes spending time with her other friends, more than she enjoys being around Jiro and it’s…
It’s almost like how she feels around Shoto (she hasn’t called him by his first name to his face, but she feels their level of intimacy would dictate that she call him by his first name anyways). The point is that she feels like she’s emotionally cheating on Todoroki with him. They haven’t done anything, but it overcomplicates things. It makes her uncomfortable.
“How do you handle unwanted romantic feelings?” Iida asks her one day. They’re in their homeroom class, they had just finished discussing some student government work. They were basically finished, but after working together for so many months, they usually stayed around for a few minutes, talking about whatever comes to mind.
Momo shrugs, “That is certainly an issue. I have the same one, so I don’t know how helpful I’ll be, though… Why are they unwanted? With proper scheduling, you should be able to balance school work, representative duties and a relationship without much of an issue so… why?”
Iida watches her, a strangely surprised expression, “I… wasn’t thinking of that. I just… I have feelings for someone I shouldn’t, so I need to get rid of them. They’re distracting and useless. Has anything seemed to help you at all?”
“I would assume that distancing yourself from them would be helpful.” Momo says.
“I can’t do that.” Iida answers bluntly, “Even if I avoided them as much as I could. Which would be challenging because they agreed to hang out with me and… help me de-stress— they make my routine much more efficient, they’re one of our classmates. So I’ll still see them too often.”
“That’s my same issue.” Momo answers. “Though not including the de-stress part.” And replacing it with student government work, she thought internally. “But I was wondering, why don’t you just see if something could work out between you too? Maybe just… date for a bit and figure out if it’s worth it or not. I’ve heard that many people get over their feelings after dating someone for a bit. The… infatuation is lifted by seeing how it’s really like to be with them.”
“... It’s Todoroki. That’s why I can’t.” Iida answers, “He hasn’t given me any sign that he’s attracted to me. And he’s probably straight.”
“To…doroki.” Momo says, a word away from speechlessness.
“What? I know it’s strange, but I would much prefer it if you didn’t tell anyone, I don’t know how our other classmates feel about any of this, and I took a gamble telling you, though—” Iida starts
“One moment.” Momo says, taking out her phone to ask Todoroki if she can tell Iida about their relationship. Todorki agrees. “Me and Todoroki, we’re dating, secretly, of course. I don’t want to deal with all the drama of Mina badgering me about it, and Todoroki seems to want to keep a low profile as well, so we haven’t told anyone besides you.” She finally says.
Iida nods, easily taking it into stride, he gains a pensive expression, probably trying to analyze when they go together, but instead of asking anything about that he says, “But you said that you had the same issue I had, if being attracted to someone you didn’t want to be… but you’re in a relationship.”
“Well, I like someone other than Todoroki.” Momo replies, “And it’s you, for your information, though I won’t try and pursue it. Everything is too complicated for that.”
Iida nods, “A very sensical decision on your part.” He replies, “Though… to put a new revelation out there. I do have feelings for you as well as Todoroki. And… have you heard of polyamory?”
Shoto gets a second text that evening. Yaoyorozu asks him if he is interested in adding Iida to their relationship, because Iida is interested in both of them. He agrees. He likes Iida in much the same way as he likes Yaoyorozu. Shoto doesn’t really know why Yaoyorozu is so covert about talking about their relationship, or why Yaoyorozu sounded so cautious in her text.
What’s weird about kissing two of his best friends, isn’t that something close friends do? Isn’t it like hugs?

TokoTsuyu
Tsuyu liked working with Tokoyami. He was serious and hardworking, and he had a good amount of restraint. He didn’t go headfirst into anything without thinking it through first.
That was most of the reason that she was happy to partner up with him for another hero training exercise.
Another part was that she liked him. Romantically, Tsuyu wasn’t the type to waffle about her feelings. She was blunt. Sometimes, that made her come off as rude, and that was fine.
Tsuyu and Tokoyami were to fight Ochako and Bakugo.
The activity was meant to practice cooperation and combo moves, where pairs of students were expected to collaborate together to defeat/arrest their opponents.
Given Bakugo and Ochako’s strength and ingenuity, the fight was likely to be a challenge even if Bakugo didn’t let himself work with Ochako. Unfortunately for Tsuyu and Tokoyami, he was in the mood to work with people. Their opponents made the first move, with Ochako flinging Bakugo at Tokoyami.
Tsuyu, from her place on the ground, quickly moved Tokoyami to the roof of a nearby two story building. She herself leapt up a few stories, staying in position to move her less agile partner if necessary.
Bakugo took the move in stride, and used his quirk to propel himself back up to his classmate. He didn’t need more than a single explosion to get himself up, which was strange. She’d watched Bakugo practice—like almost everyone in their class did— she knew that he needed multiple explosions to fight against gravity, but…
Ochako’s quirk.
Tsuyu moved Tokoyami up to a higher building. Bakugo easily dodges Dark Shadow’s attack. In the afternoon light Tokoyami’s quirk was weakened, and neither of them expected to win against Bakugo and Ochako in these conditions.
Tsuyu surveyed for the next place to put him for their strategy to come to fruition, and watched for Ochako as well. She had to be somewhere nearby. With comms, it didn’t have to be within earshot, but Ochako had to be close enough to help with support if need be. She wouldn’t get a good score on the exam if she stayed behind.
As Bakugo shoots himself back towards Tokoyami, Tsuyu grabs her ally again with her quirk.
Instead of placing him atop another building, she holds him near the ledge of a nearby skyscraper, with windows that spread across from end to end of the building. He kicks in the glass, and when it shatters, it leaves a large enough hole for him to climb into.
Once he’s inside, Tsuyu climbs up the building she’s holding onto, and leaps over to the rooftop of the building Tokoyami is in.
It’s flat, but with enough structures present to allow Tsuyu to not end  up in a melee scenario, where she’d definitely lose to Ochako and her training with Gunhead.
Tsuyu hears a shuffling noise behind her, and just as she’s about to ready herself for an oncoming attack, Ochako tackles her to the ground.
Before Ochako can get Tsuyu cuffed— defeating her for this training exercise— Tsuyu wraps Ochako’s waist with her tongue and flings her away, giving Tsuyu the time to stand up and go on the offensive.
They continue fighting, neither one able to get the upper hand without the other redirecting and returning them back to equals.
Then, “Lord Explosion Murder has been neutralized. I’ve kept injuries to myself to a minimum, but the floors have taken some damage.” Tsuyu heard in her ear piece, “Ready for Phase 3”
Good, they were on time, “I’ll come down then.” Tsuyu responded, jumping away just in time to avoid Ochako’s attack. She hopped over to the door down into the building.
“Good job,” Ochako told Tsuyu.
“You did well too, dealing with Bakugo must have been a challenge.” Tsuyu responded.
Ochako shrugged, “Yeah, he’s really stubborn, but he’s getting better. He respects me, which is good. Even though I ended up mostly in support, he still actually collaborated, I don’t think he would’ve let me use my quirk on him before.”
“Yeah.” Tsuyu responded. “I’m going to check on Tokoyami. Bakugo really did give his ‘plus ultra’ today, like usual.”
Tsuyu found Tokoyami in Recovery Girl’s office. He was sitting with his legs dangling off the edge of a cot, talking to his quirk, Dark Shadow. Probably waiting for Recovery Girl to come back and give them the okay to leave after treating Midoriya for whatever injuries he gave himself in this exercise.
“Hello Tokoyami, Dark Shadow,” Tsuyu greeted the two
“Tsu!” Dark Shadow exclaimed happily, like he usually did when he saw Tsuyu.
Tokoyami glared at his quirk as it came up to Tsuyu.
“You’re just waiting for Recovery Girl to come back and okay you, right?” She asked.
Tokoyami nods as Dark Shadow says, “Pet me!” in his petulant, immature voice.
She does as the quirk asks, then returns to watching Tokoyami, who has since looked down, not meeting her eyes. He didn’t seem to be looking at anything in particular, just avoiding eye contact.
Even before she liked him, she had felt a bit of kinship for the boy. Tsuyu had trouble conveying emotions, and her face usually stayed in the same position unless her emotions were extreme, and because of Tokoyami’s bird head, he probably had similar problems.
However now, it was a bit more of a hindrance, as she couldn’t tell his expression.
She circled through a few ideas of what had caused the reaction, before deciding the most likely. She stopped petting his quirk, and squatted down in front of the other boy to look up into his eyes, “Did I make you feel uncomfortable?”
Tokoyami finally looked back at her, but didn’t reply.
“Should I ask Dark Shadow?” Tsuyu had seen before that asking his quirk was an easy way to get a quick answer about how Tokoyami was feeling, since they were so integrally tied together.
“No.” Tokoyami responded quickly, his tone somewhat panicked..
“Then how am I supposed to find out why you stopped looking at me?” Tsuyu asked, “I don’t want to make the same mistake again.”
“Fumikage is just stupid.” Dark Shadow interjected.
“I’m not–” Tokoyami started.
“Then why are we here?” Dark Shadow asked.
“Because of hero training?” Tsuyu says, slightly unsurely.
“Not– not me getting hurt, Dark Shadow means…” Tokoyami answers, though it doesn’t tell Tsuyu much. He mumbles about a mad banquet of darkness, then speaks up again, “What Dark Shadow means is you’re right, you did make me uncomfortable, but… it wasn’t that I didn’t like it, I just…
A silence falls over, Tokoyami still not giving an answer.
“What?” Tsuyu asks, “I care about you. I like you even, I want to be able to be near you and for you to be comfortable with it, to want me to be near you, to feel the same way I do. If that means I shouldn’t touch Dark Shadow again, then that’s okay.”
Dark Shadow interjects with a rejection, that Tsuyu is allowed to touch it whenever she wants, but Tsuyu ignores it.
“You like me?” Tokoyami asks.
“Yes.” Tsuyu answers.
“Like…?”
“Like-like I suppose.” Tsuyu returns.
“I… like you too.” Tokoyami returns, his voice soft. “That’s why I didn’t want you to touch Dark Shadow, he… gives away things that I don’t want people to know. If you want to pet Dark Shadow, you can do that… since you know now.”
“Thank you for telling me.” Tsuyu says, moving to pet Tokoyami’s quirk again. “Would you like to go on a date once you can leave?”
“Yes, I’d like that.”
“Good, where do you want to go?”

Late Night TodoMomo
Momo didn’t usually go out to the commons rooms at night. After curfew, everyone was supposed to go to bed, and loitering around in the common rooms was an easy way to get in trouble.
That’s why Momo didn’t usually participate in such behavior, but once in a while, she wouldn’t have a good night’s rest, like when she was feeling bad about how she’d done on some hero training exercise or some other event, or like this night, where there was an exam in the following morning.
She’d found that the best way to calm herself down was walking down to the kitchen in the commons, brewing herself a cup of tea, and eating a small pastry left by Sato during his weekly baking sessions. She usually  reviewed the chemical compounds for different types of wood and paints during this time. She’d memorized them all when she’d first learned to read and write, in her quest to make her first real object with her quirk, a matryoshka doll.
Thankfully, the rest of the class hadn’t raided the fridge yet, and Sato’s pastries, –baked just last night, most likely as Sato’s own anti-stress ritual– were untouched.
She was savoring a small pastry. She thinks Sato called it a mini boston cream pie, and it did fit the description, but she couldn’t know for sure until she asked him tomorrow.
It was delicious, like all of Sato’s creations, not too rich and with just the right amount of sweetness and moisture.
She was reading a chemical compound book (though really she already knew what was inside) and waiting for her tea kettle to whistle when she heard the elevator doors open.
Then out stepped Todoroki.
It was strange seeing him late at night. Even though they lived together in the dorms. She'd never seen him look so disheveled, though she supposed she wasn’t very close to him.
She’d never seen him in his nightclothes, but they weren’t anything interesting, just a plain loose pair of pants and a white button up shirt.
They were ruffled and wrinkled and clearly hadn’t been ironed in some time, though Momo supposed that such a thing didn’t matter, and Todoroki probably didn’t care if the pants of his sleeping wear looked crisp and straight or not.
His hair was also mussed, and the red and the white mixed together at his part, with flyaways all around.
He stumbled over to the kitchen counter to stand next to Momo, though he seemed ready to topple over at any second. He blinked, and seemed to gain a bit of clarity from his groggy state, “What’s that smell?” He asked.
“S-Sato’s desserts, he made them yesterday, mini boston cream pies I believe he said? I can get one if you would like,” Momo told him, feeling her face flush slightly as she rambled, “And I-I’m boiling some water for tea, would you like some? It has a mild sedative, since it’s for helping people to fall asleep, but I have other options I can take out too–”
“Yes, I would like that.” He interrupted.
“The cream pie or the tea?” Momo asked, smiling slightly.
“Both.” Todoroki stated bluntly. “And I want the sedative type of tea.”
“Did I disturb you?” Momo asked as she took out a cup, and another bag of the same tea.
“No. I didn’t even know you were down here.” Todoroki answered.
The kettle whistled, and Momo hurried to take it off the stove and turn the dial off. She poured the water into the cups, and handed one to Todoroki.
She was surprised for a second as he put his hand fully around the cup, before remembering his quirk. Then she hurried off to grab a second miniature pie from the fridge and handed it to Todoroki as well.
After she put it in his unoccupied hang, he watched it with his usual monotone stare before taking a bite of it, then the ends of his mouth raised slightly. Only those who really knew Todoroki well could tell it was actually a smile and not just some odd, different version of his usual emotionless expression.
She smiled, “I’m happy you like it.”
He turned to meet her eyes, and with his cheek similar to that  of a chipmunk, his cheeks slightly puffed out, Momo couldn’t help but give out a little giggle.
Todoroki was cute like that, when he did those little, easy things in life, when the untouchable feeling he gave off melted away, showing the boy underneath.
A boy that Momo liked.
She smiled at him as she let the thought swirl in her mind. By the time she returned back to reality, taking in the changes to her surroundings, she felt herself flush again.
Todoroki was less than a foot away from her, still staring into her eyes.
“T-Todoroki.” she stammered, too dazed to say anything but his name.
She glanced around, and saw her cup upon the counter beside her. She picked it up and glanced into it, upon seeing that the water was sufficiently colored by the tea bag, she decided that it had steeped for long enough, and removed it from the water, dropping it into the nearby kitchen garbage can without moving from their close position.
“I think the tea’s steeped long enough. Do you want me to put yours in the tea bag?”
Todoroki shook his head.
“The taste might get worse if you don’t.”
“I don’t care.” He replied, “I want the sedative to be at its most potent.”
“Okay…?” Momo answered hesitantly. She took a sip of her tea. It was nice, as it usually was.
Todoroki continued to look at her. Momo wasn’t really used to this. She’d seen Todoroki look at her every once in a while, he stared at everyone really, if he took an interest in something, his eyes would just stay on it, either not knowing or not caring about being strange.
Usually it was fine, and it didn’t make Momo uncomfortable most of the time, it was more of a question of why.
Because the why changed everything.
Her face was hot. Todoroki had walked back up to her, and they were close again.
Then Todoroki touched her face, and–
It was cold.
She blinked, a bit surprised at how cold it felt.
“Is that good?”
“I– uh, yeah.” She answered, because it was nice, the cool feeling, it was a bit surprising, but overall it was soothing, it felt good on her left cheek. “I… thought you were going to do something else.”
“What else would I do?” Todoroki asked, his voice even as usual, even as he leaned close to her, their noses barely an inch away from each other. He kept his hand on his face.
“Kiss me.”
“Do you want me to?” Todoroki asked. For Todoroki, the monotone of his voice sounded completely genuine.
“D-do you want to?” Momo asked, her voice trembling.
“I think so.”
“Then… do it.” Momo breathed out.
And he did.

Hello, Vizel here! I kinda just exist on here, post random stuff on occasion, then disappear again. Don't wanna steal Catcity's spotlight, so my writing stuff is on my main blog. I'll say when it's me.

Hello, this is Catcity (they/them). I will probably post some shipping drabbles here. I'm interested in taking requests for both them and other things. I'm okay with most stuff, but there are random things that don't really click with me that will make me reject a request that I won't include here because I don't fully know how to express it. Check out my blog for more information.
These are the fandoms I (mostly) write for:
○ MHA (anime/manga)
○ TBHK (anime/manga)
○ Haikyuu (anime/manga)
○ Twilight saga (books/movie)

Btw I'm not up to date on the TBHK manga and I haven't read the Ranma 1/2 manga, I'm also not caught up on MLB (but I don't care abt spoilers for that particular show).
No-No List
○ Yandere
○ No self-insert (MC or Y/N)
I accept OCs as requested, as well as OCs x characters prompts, but you must give me an idea of the character's personality and for fandoms with abilities, add that too. I don't like nameless/blank-slate characters.
