A headcanon I have for a Moondrop that is stand-offish at first to Y/N! More under the cut~
Been thinking about this but I like to think that Moondrop only speaks in full sentences to children and Sun, and keeps his speech limited around security/maintenance/human workers, including Y/N.
He only speaks in hushed tones with Sun and detests when Y/N is around, he thinks there doesn't need to be a human daycare attendant when he can do the job just fine with Sun. (P.S. I like the whole them being two seperate robots route)
Y/N tries to be friendly but Moon only acknowledges them somewhat on the job, and other times completely tunes them out afterwards. It's his distrusting nature due to the only adults he's interacted with having not treated him as anything other than 'Machine'.
I also thought of him and Sun sharing a code that allows them to essentially telepathically speak to one another, it's amusing from an outside perspective to see them have a staredown for five minutes and then Sun blurts out "THAT'S WHAT I WAS THINKING!! :D"
The silent arguements that could/would ensue of them both cleaning up and Sun shouting "FOR THE LAST TIME I SAID I WAS SORRY FOR THAT" and Moon throwing a (soft) object at Sun.
Overtime I do believe Moon would warm up to Y/N, but he has gotten used to only having Sun around as a constant companion that he tries his way of "speaking" to Y/N and Y/N being utterly confused as to why he's been staring at them blankly for an uncomfortable amount of minutes.
I thought of this while in the shower and we all know that's the best time to think up scenarios with your faves lol
It becomes less frequent of a habit the more they interact with one another, but he'll still do it on purpose to tease Y/N or when they're having a disagreement.
OR there's the other possible headcanon that him and Sun can use "infrasound" that's a low enough pitch that human ears can't pick up on, that's also a fun thing to think about.

OH HELL YEAH !!!! I should've clarified, I'm cool with asks for anything/anyone, unfortunately I might not have as much to say for some characters/ships since. I'm still getting through the manga orz but I'd down to discuss anyone!!
Also sidenote but thank you for sending two asks?? I'm answering this one first since the amoneki ask will take me. A while. But also I read this and immediately went "eto !!! eto holy shit it's her!!" so I must get the energy out (and hope it's coherent)
How I feel about this character: Goddd Eto is so fucking Cool as a character. She has so many things I absolutely Love in one character. She's an absolute monster in terms of power, eldritch-like, she is a horror beyond anyone's comprehension and I love her so much for that. When she made her first (I think) big appearance in :re (Volume 5. The Kanae Scene) I loved her sooo much more I love her fucked up-ness, I love her Apple and God Thing and 'breaking down people's idols and becoming their god' because I Love religious symbolism. She's so ominous and formidable and she has such a fucking presence, it's amazing, yet at the same time we still see the same loneliness in her that's prevelant in the majority of Tokyo Ghoul, but maybe even moreso. Throughout the series it's shown how important parents and family are and how they've shaped the characters and give them drive (especially considering almost nobody has both parents. alive, and it effects everyone So Much it's a constant theme.) And obviously Eto couldn't really. Have that. At all. And it fucked her up definitely. The loneliness is overshadowed by. The Monstrosity (which makes sense of course, because that loneliness also brews Hatred for the world) but it also cuts through in things like her writing as Takatsuki Sen (which Kaneki obviously picks up on and relates to), the way it shines through when she's able to deconstruct others' desires and wills and suffering (after all, one must experience suffering themself to truly understand someone else's), and the slight respite with Aogiri (man. I wish to know more of her dynamics with the members/executives so bad) god I love her so much, she also has such a cool character design I'm in love with it, I can't wait to see her even more in :re.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Hmm since she hasn't made too many major appearances with individual characters so far none really yet? However I feel like I may grow very intrigued in etoken, two people that share loneliness, they're also a little fucked up I think they could be interesting together (I'm certain they're gonna interact more later also i've seen. the eyeball scene (on accident) and honestly yeah that's my kinda Weirdness))
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Again I want to see more of her appearances/interactions with others more first !! But I'd honestly be happy just to see her interact with the other Aogiri executives more, it's pretty entertaining and it's definitely my kinda thing
My unpopular opinion about this character: I guess I wouldn't really know if anything I thought is considered unpopular haha, I just kinda like her all around okay?
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Well, currently I just want to see her more in general, although I think seeing more of the ways she can totally screw with people would be great, she is so Psychological Horror and I fully support it

a headcanon fact: I am taking this opportunity to increase the religious undertones tenfold. She can pull out So many bible references on the fly (that a lot of people probably don't get) and definitely weaves them throughout her writing (Kaneki canonically knows things from the bible, more than the average person at least, so he would absolutely pick up on them). I think she'd have some very interesting thoughts about the bible and what it says about humanity and the idea of God itself, and she definitely owns one somewhere

Ik everyone talks about this in different fonts, but your ask about mike and nancy and how he feels comfortable opening up to will really struck me because wow, broski literally NEVER opens up to his girlfriend. Like we knew this already, but it really does go beyond him not having dramatic heart to hearts with El on top of vans. He really doesn’t talk to El about ANYTHING other than things related to the fight against the UD. And I think that directly connects to him putting her on a pedestal. Beyond his sexuality, beyond the debate of whether he loves will or el, why are my chemical romances completely chill with a bf/gf who don’t open up about anything. That should concern them, but it never does . Like literally, when you contrast with Lumax, who are vulnerable with each other ATT, it’s startling. How do melvin shippers not see that? Because that goes beyond the Byler debate into the core emptiness of their relationship which is a fact.
Yeah, let's talk about Mike and El for a second, because I think there's more to unpack here.
We really see so many empathy misses between the two of them, and I kind of think a lot more of those in later seasons come/start from El shutting down Mike's feelings than the other way around. I mean, Mike sets the precedent here with blaming El a lot in season 1, and we definitely still see his issues with deflection and blame shifting, but we do see Mike TRY to understand what's going on with El, and I'm not so sure we see El doing the same for Mike, though to give El the benefit of the doubt here, I also don't think it's ever been demonstrated to her that she should be making space for Mike in this way.
Let's take a look:
First we have this scene here where Mike is trying to relate to El and show her around. He's excitedly showing off all of his toys to her, and El just really could not be bothered. She gets up to scope out the rest of the room and kind of leaves Mike alone with his toys. Now obviously, this is a small thing, but I think it's an interesting way to set up their dynamic: Mike is trying to be attentive with El and make sure she's experiencing everything (making her breakfast, showing her the Lazy Boy, showing her his toy collection), and El is sort of dismissive with him. Clearly, she's also not been brought up traditionally, so I can give her a pass on these behaviors, but as for establishing a relationship between Mike and El, it's kind of already pointing toward the fact that they're not on the same page and don't really share the same interests.
We see basically the same thing happen here in the s3 opening makeout scene where Mike breaks their kiss to rock out to Never Surrender and El covers Mike's mouth and tells him to stop singing. He says, "What, you don't like it?" And it's played off as this kind of comedic moment, but we get the sense here again that El kind of stifles a bit of Mike's goofiness and playfulness, so much of what makes him him, to just go back to making out. It doesn't read to me here like she's all that interested in spending QUALITY time with Mike, she's moreso interested in engaging in teenage behavior with him, gossiping and making out.
But let's take a step back for a second and look at their initial kiss scene here because I think this also highlights how much they are not on the same page at any point in their relationship. In this first scene we get between them that really establishes them as a romantic relationship, Mike is telling El that she can come live with him and his family, that his parents will be like her parents, and his sister will be like her sister, and El asks if that means that Mike will be like her brother, and he says, No, that's different. Here, Mike is being pushed into creating this romantic bond between he and El because Lucas and Dustin frame his attentiveness to her in this way, and likewise, El is pushed into framing this as a romantic bond and not a familial bond by Mike. While Mike is confusing platonic feelings for romantic feelings, El is confusing familial feelings for romantic feelings.
And we see this displayed so apparently in El's entire arc during season 2. She leaves Hawkins to try to establish for herself what her relation to the world is, and she goes out in search of family, first to her Mom, and then to Kali, her sister. Both her aunt and Kali offer her places to stay and offer her a place in their family, but El returns to Hawkins, and says she's going "Home" because that's where her family is, not just Hopper, but Mike and the rest of the party too. El views these relationships as being like family and like home to her.
And this sets up so well why Mike and El's relationship in season 3 feels so off to the both of them. They believe that their bond has to be romantic because of how much expectation and waiting was built between them, but we again see them not being on the same page.
Now we already talked about the beginning makeout, so I won't go over that again, but I do want to key into a few of the points in their dynamic. While we've talked about how El and Will are constantly confused and interchanged in the story with Mike, Mike and Hopper are consistently also confused and interchanged in the story for El. Mike kind of plays, in a weird way, a 3rd father figure role to El in places.
Now we know that Hopper has always been overprotective of El and has firm rules set in place for her, but we also see this behavior show up with Mike in season 3. He's concerned about having lost El, and he kind of steps in by trying to have control over how she uses her powers. He thinks the others are trying to exploit her, so while his intentions are well-meaning here, El doesn't need this kind of overprotection from Mike because she already has it from Hopper, and her whole arc in season 3 is about her discovering herself outside of being defined by her relationships with others.
So when we get to season 4, and we see that Mike has created more distance in their relationship while El is sort of clinging onto it and fully investing into Mike, I think similarly to how Mike threw himself into El in s3 after being afraid he lost her in s2, El does the same thing with Mike because she thinks she lost Hopper, and so Mike becomes really her main support system. While of course she loves the Byers and Will, Jonathan, and Joyce step in to become family for her, they are not as familiar to her as Mike is, and Mike is the only person besides Hopper who has really been there for El since the beginning. She leans so heavily onto Mike and displaces a lot of her insecurities about losing her powers, losing her home, and losing her Dad into Mike's inability to say "I love you" because what El really wants and needs in season 4 is a sense of stability that she doesn't have.
So when Mike finally tries to address the problem after he finds out El has been lying to him and that she's been being bullied, he's trying to understand why she hasn't been talking to him, and instead of really talking through it, they both put the blame back on each other. El blames Mike for viewing her as a monster and for not saying I love you, and Mike deflects by saying "you know how I feel about you," making the insecurity her problem instead of something that they work through together as a couple. El can't understand why Mike can't tell her he loves her, but Mike also can't understand why El needs so badly to hear it. And so the only reassurances he gives her are about her powers because that's all she's really defined herself by for so long. He views El's hyperindependence and her need to do everything on her own as a strength in her and not as the result of insecurity and instability that it is.
El and Mike care about each other a lot, but they don't relate to one another. They don't understand one another, and they're constantly never on the same page about their relationship or what one needs from the other. That's what makes it so clear that the monologue didn't solve anything. Because neither one of them was actually hearing the other throughout the entirety of their relationship.

for the Character Asks, how about I give you your pick of any/all of our 3 established Gossip Girl Main Characters bc we're writing a whole show about these 3 rich dysfunctional gays lmao
hello YES! i enjoy our rich disaster gay trio sitcom (/dramedy) headcanon chats! work with for the other two so it would largely be headcanons anyway. i decided to go with jenny since the others don't have much canon to work with.
How I feel about this character: my beloved <3 more seriously, she's the character in gossip girl i find most interesting so this is going to be. long. anyway. she can be flawed and self-righteous and self-destructive and petty and she can be awfully, egregiously cruel, she knows how to take someone's insecurities or mistakes and hit them where it already hurts -- and despite all that, she's so sympathetic. because she's also ambitious and creative and starts off the show so optimistic and relatively happy-go-lucky, even with her parents' separation. she's cutthroat because she HAS to be, because she would never be able to hang in the upper east side if she wasn't, and that's the path she sees towards her dreams and doesn't she deserve her dreams? she knows she can hack it if she can just GET THROUGH THE DOOR. she's funny and charming and witty and SAD, sadder than i think anyone in the show realizes until she's imploded by the end of season three. she develops this armor of black clothes and sharp eyeliner and bitchy witticisms in season two and season three even moreso and so many people see this as character derailment or think it makes her awful or irredeemable somehow but i look at her and see a girl who's been tread on too many times, with chuck and with damien and with agnes and the guys in the club and what they almost did. with her father, even, and his lack of ability or willingness to understand where she's coming from, that she's not just sad or lonely at school, she's in DANGER. (evidence: the reference to the fact that apparently everyone except two girls in her chem class apparently tried to light her hair on fire?) so she builds up walls and she isolates and she makes decisions that maybe aren't great but she doesn't have the support she needs and all of this makes me feel so soft and sad for her and protective OF her and protective, even, of her right to be flawed, of her right to make mistakes. every other character in the show has equally (or even worse) egregious flaws that get excused or hand-waved by not only the fandom, by the narrative. jenny is held to a much different standard. the narrative screws her and casts her aside (and yes, i get that taylor momsen wanted to leave, i respect it, and i even respect that it's a teen drama and her exit was always going to be a little dramatic, but they did not have to do what they did) and if they didn't think all of this was the perfect storm for me to emotionally adopt her into the list of blorbos in constant rotation in my head-oven well. they've got another thing coming. tldr; jenny is the Born To Die trope except it's more like Metaphysical Innocence Born To Be "Corrupted". it's so clear what they're doing even in the pilot. i will go to my grave defending her.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: jenny x therapy LMAO. actually answer is uhhh idk. might be easier to give a list of my DEFINITE NOTPS (easily guessable, i'd assume.) i simultaneously DO headcanon jenny as having had a crush on blair and think they have interesting dynamic (and lots of angst and turmoil and admiration/jealousy psuedo-political warfare that makes me understand why people DO ship it) while also not really wanting it be like. A Thing. (i also think their relationship was too fraught and blair in particular was too awful to jenny for them to ever have a healthy romantic relationship, so.) i have... a soft spot for nate and jenny let's say? i don't think canon was the right time for them to be together, obviously, and i can easily see how some of her feelings could come across as comphet (especially with him being so constantly unavailable). at the same time, i think they have a lot of sweet moments that are rooted in like, affection and genuinely liking who the other person is. he's very gentle with her and i think jenny could have used a lot more gentle moments in the show. at the same time, i'm not sure they're ultimately the right fit for each other, and i don't really imagine that they're "end game", so to speak, but i do like reading the occasional post-canon fic about them. so that's where i land on them, i supposed. in actuality, i think jenny probably realizes she's queer in some capacity eventually, but that's a whole other question lmao.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: jenny and eric! but also jenny and dan! but also jenny and serena!! it's hard to pick lmao. i think the show does a pretty decent job showing the complexities of the friendship between jenny and eric given eric's limited screentime lmao. i think they hit something very grounded and real with eric and jenny's back and forth, which how much they love and need each other and also can't stand each other half the time, how their introduction was a really simple moment of jenny showing him compassion and him meeting her back with that effort full-force, with how they both value each other more than is common in heterosexual romance-based western cultures but also can't or won't or don't know that they need to or how to admit that to one another. it's a very honest depiction of a friendship at this age and of this kind, at least for me.
i was about to say that my feelings about dan and jenny are simpler, but i don't know if that's true? i might be repeating myself here, but if there's one thing gossip girl does well, it's grounded and realistic dynamics. they tease each other lightly and they tease each other too harshly sometimes, they fight, and they try to understand each other but often can't, they secret-keep for each other until that's no longer viable, and they do their best to protect one another and it's all just so balanced. one scene that stands out to me is when jenny steals the dress in season one and dan goes into talk to her and it's so clear he's had to take on somewhat of a parental role with her since their mom has been gone? and i'm sure that's frustrating for both jenny and for dan. but despite taking on this role of care, he doesn't treat her condescendingly or with any ire, he tries to be understanding and careful and thoughtful where rufus couldn't be. and while i'd say the show does a disservice to their relationship as time wears on, i think when dan gets the CHANCE to be a good big brother to her, he always always is. he tries to do right by her and even in her harsher, more isolating days, she still tries to trust him and lets herself be jenny around him moreso than she knows how to do with other people.
with jenny and serena -- i think i love what their dynamic could have been more than what it was? watching the pilot for the first time, i was sure there were going to be more big sisterly moments between them, but they end up going for conflict instead. which is understandable; like i said, it IS a drama. but serena tries so hard to be kind to jenny in the first season and while jenny wants to BE blair, i think serena's kindness lets her hold onto her dream a little longer, imagine that there's a world where she gets in with the in-crowd and someone like serena is there to back her up. i also think there's a really intriguing theme of jenny's arc paralleling what's serena's been through in terms of assault and sexual exploitation. the "the sixteen year old virgin" really exemplifies how serena WANTS to protect jenny from going down a path of self-destruction that could lead to her getting hurt even more. and just. that's an interesting but woefully underexplored dynamic. she also has the best approach (at first) in that episode which is to just like. talk to jenny like a peer. explain her worries over a shared pint of ice cream. it's only when she panics and starts Plotting that it becomes Too Much. anyway. there's a world in which their relationship was meatier and i want to live in it!
My unpopular opinion about this character: she deserved way better than the narrative throwing her under the bus to prioritize ch*ck.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: i think i wish dan would have found out somehow about jenny getting drugged by agnes. on the one hand, nate telling him maybe would Kind of Not Be Cool, buuut it's tv the characters are allowed to be flawed and messy. plus! it makes the most sense. i feel genuinely feel that if dan found that out, she would be able to open up to him and they would figure out what was best for her (going to stay with their mom for senior year, lots and lots of therapy) sooner and without the ch*ck of it all.

hi miss Luta!
since following you, ive learned a lot about D/s dynamics and how to spot them in media, etc, and also that im a veeeery subby sub lol. lots of self discovery happening for sure😅 but i digress. i was watching this video clip of mosbank from big dragon interacting, and it tingled my newly acquired D/s senses, and i was wondering if you saw it in that way too? or if im totally off base. but the way isbanky was being a little bratty (?) by saying he would punish mos for messing around and touching him, but then mos responding by basically completely overriding that and saying no, you will not do that, and i can tease/touch you however i want. it seemed very Dom-like to me. and then bank responding by being sort of jokingly annoyed but ultimately accepting that decision. obviously we dont know what is actually going on in their lives, and im not asking you to speculate on that and them specifically, but moreso on how interactions like that done by anybody would be interpreted within a D/s framework. thanks & hope youre doing well! xx

I won't speculate on if they are dating or not. However, their friendship is very D/s from all the interviews I've seen. With Mos being the Dom of the relationship. I've literally watched him be like, nope, you're sleeping at my house and just take Bank there.
When you think about BL actors and how closely they work together. It's not surprising that there would be a D/s element to their friendship. Especially considering, as most Asians will tell you. A soft D/s element is very common in Asian relationships. One person is generally in charge and commanding.
A D/s relationship, regardless of if it's romantic or friendship, isn't about the sex. The power imbalance is what makes it a D/s relationship. One person gives control to another and allows them to hold the higher amount of control.
When you understand this, then you begin to see it in many BL actor pairings. Copter is the Dom of Kimcop, Mile is the Dom of MileApo, Bible is the Dom of BibleBiuld, Mos is the Dom of MosBank, Boun is the Dom of BounPrem, Bright is Dom of BrightWin, and Jaechan is the Dom of JaechanSeoham.

HIHIHI IM BACK!!
So I might be trying to write the role swap au you so kindly graced this hellsite with. I will ofcourse credit u for everything but FIRST I need some opinions on some ideas
1, would Lloyds power be over wind?
If so I have some ideas about where his character could go ;3
As for his antagonist role, I can think of a few ways he may end up in the services of the preeminent. But considering morro being his cousin and caring about him, either Lloyd would take one of the other ninja or he’d take morro to “protect him” or smthn
2, EMs of fire and water. Imma say for now their sisters. One of them was skylors late mom and the other voluntary gave her powers to Bentho (Skylor and bentho be indirect siblings let’s goo! I can already imagine some cute dynamics between the two)
3, How unagami got his powers is probably similar to how jays family history worked out. Orphaned and adopted at a young age. But something I wanted to explore was how he discovered his powers (I’m thinking that he and bentho found out their powers to a certain degree before garm found em) and that he helped his dad design games and maybe building his own games! Like Hotwiring a game cartridge to mod a game like an emulator lmao. And when that translated into his training, he ended up unintentionally frying a lot of the electronics cause he wasn’t used to using his powers at a voltage like that xD
4, Pixel is an interesting case. As I’m not sure if she should gain her powers in the same way as Zane. But that reminds me of Zane’s power source! I think Borg would spend a lot of time constructing a suitable power source for pixel (probably in seclusion to avoid unwanted onlookers) and borg would meet the master of ice before pixel was even fully built. Borg would take in the EM of ice and talk all about how his daughter was going to “protect those who couldn’t protect themselves” and yadayada and the EM of ice is like “Yaknow what, sounds cool” and casually passes on his powers into the special power source, which when hooked up into pixel fully transfers the powers of ice to her! Thought she doesn’t discover or use them until she meets garmadon.
5, Vania is a bit of a tougher one. I think Vangelis in this would be a dancing instructor, but Moreso Ballet in style. And he would push Vania to pursue a career in Ballet, even though she had a tendency to enjoy running around in the outdoors much like her mother. I also imagine that she, much like her show personality, would have a little collection of pet rocks (cause I say so) and then later in the story her and cole would geek out about collections and overall cinnamon roll overlode.
6, I REALLY wanna incorporate Harumi into this with a different role so Yaknow what, here’s an idea, she swaps with ronin! Becomes a schemer and traveling ‘merchant’ and everything. And ronin is the tragic little boy who loses his parents to the devourer and gets adopted by the royal family. And instead of a romantic subplot between him and morro (not a destiny shipper myself) they have a bonding moment and become close friends quickly, mostly sharing about how rough life can be (morro discussing his own ordeal with his family) and then yada yada friendship betrayal! Maybe I’ll enhance their relationship more and have morro see him as an older brother figure almost. WHO KNOWS I SURE DONT :D

So I definitely need to rewatch possession to get a better idea of what happens but here's what I'm thinking so far: Lloyd runs away to go to the temple of airjitzu in the hopes of learning it will make him more powerful and gets turned into a ghost. He then winds up with the Preeminent and while there hears about a green ninja saving Ninjago. He and his ghost buddies go to find him. Lloyd is very shocked and surprised to find out it's Morro. He decides to possess him and carry on with the plan (while being gentle with his little cousin of course) with the new motivation of maybe not letting a 14-year-old be the destined savior of the world. Season probably ends with Morro talking Lloyd down and getting him to see he was wrong. Lloyd, not believing he can be redeemed, sacrifices himself like cannon Morro.
2, Oh! I like this idea! I don't currently have anything for the previous em of water so I'll definitely try to use that! I don't have any idea who she is rn, maybe I'll make an oc. If you have any ideas definitely send them my way!
3, So for Unagami, I'm thinking whoever the previous em of lightning died when Unagami was very little. Because of this, he's had his element for as long as he can remember and doesn't notice some fairly obvious signs he has it. I imagine he was always really good at Snap Circuits as a kid and played with them all the time. He was almost too good at it. I think now he's really good at messing around with wires and electricity sort of stuff, he just kinda knows where the electric current is and where it's going. He probably does hotwire stuff a lot lol. When he started training with his powers Garm was describing how the lightning element works and little Unagami's like "Wait, that's just me???".
Bentho was given his element pretty recently compared to the others, probably around season 1 time. After he got it he didn't know what it was and spent a bit of time figuring it out. It was pretty obvious, kind of like if the air was suddenly different. He tried to train with it but it wasn't very easy as he didn't have a teacher and nearly knew what his power was. He tried again to undermine Kalmaar and failed again, he got pretty roughed up and took refuge on the surface where he met the ninja. Kalmaar thinks he's dead.
4, Ok ok so Pixal, I think that the previous em of ice was actually a relative of Borg, like an uncle or something. So when he dies without an heir Pixal was just created and was picked to be the next em of ice. Neither of them knew about this until Garm came.
Pixal does have a special power source that Borg made for her but that was just so she wouldn't have to charge someplace, her element doesn't have anything to do with that as that annoys me in cannon lol.
5, So Vangelis is a differently limiting parent than Lou in cannon. He's overprotective of Vania and doesn't let her go out and do a lot of stuff, which has led to her innocent personality. She likes to collect as many nature items as she can on the occasion she's allowed to go adventuring and has a small collection of "pet rocks". Vangelis is a high-profile dance professor at Marty Oppenheimer School of Performing Arts and spends a lot of his time on that.
When MOTM comes around Vania and Cole totally bond over their dorky nature collections, much fluffy for them! (Purely platonic btw, they besties)
6, Oh yes I love that idea!!! Harumi being a sneaky, manipulative "merchant" and Ronin being a little sad boi prince and friends with Morro!!! I imagine Morro and Harumi's relationship would be kind of like Ezra and Hondo's from Rebels (I hope people get that lol). Morro always trying to see the best in her to everyone else's suspicions! I love the friendship betrayal too, still a lot of trust that was broken and huge emotional impact.

Chimata if you feel like it!
General opinion/How much I care about them: i dont remember if it was really soon after or if it took some time for it all to click, but i've really come to adore all of th18's cast, and that includes that Chimata who has one of the best designs ever and I am being completely sincere! 🌈 i love everything about her. Her concept as a god of markets and how that was clearly inspired by real life doujin conventions yet still making it make sense in the setting of touhou, and her personal journey of rising back up to power thanks to the really complicated connection she's struck up with Megumu is so compelling and instantly had me and so many other fans running hamster wheels in our brains for years to come...
Also the majority of her dialogue is just really really funny, between bragging about how amazing markets are (She's right) or getting so offended when the player characters insult her card... She's kind of a mess even moreso than the usual touhou character, and that she's also a final boss and super powerful god makes a fun contrast i like a lot.
A ship I love: the obvious one is chimata/megumu though its a bit weird to talk about in this context because personally what i love about the marketeer quartet polycule is how Megumu is at the center and how the other three reflect and bring out different aspects of her (Although at the same time i also think Tsukasa can easily be the 'center' pov if needed to, because they all think the scheming tube fox is cute!). Going into detail on all that would probably steer the topic away from Chimata too much so i'll just say for now that I think Chimata and Megumu, without either really meaning to, brought the 'best' out of each other. Its just that their 'best' in this case meant giving them the means and confidence to take everything for themselves 😄
(also kind of a tangent but ive also always kinda thought megumu/chimata is similar in superficial ways to how i see yachie/keiki from just the previous game maybe with the dynamics reversed a little. But then following on that thought, momoyo is kinda similar to saki, and then i have no choice but to say tsukasa like some inverse mayumi... Its just nonsense but its funny to me think about)
A non-romantic relationship that I love: as of right now, she's gotta be reeeeeally ticked at Marisa right? Chimata had gotten over that whole thing of attacking her market as a robber and turning her bedridden, but then the stuff with the black markets had Marisa being trusted to stop them and then putting it off to enjoy collecting cards instead 😂
But despite all of that, I think Chimata ultimately would still acknowledge that avariciously human spirit which is vital in those who seek to do exchange, and will probably take Marisa off her personal market banlist eventually....
The NOTP: I actually think Chimata would get along surprisingly well with Momoyo but ive no desire to make something romantic out of it. although... maybe if megumu was somehow their driving motivation???
My biggest headcanon about them: i actually dont have anything too substantial this moment if only because her actual canon has been already so substantial and fulfilling... Though i think after becoming bedridden after UM's ending, she was resting at Megumu's place and was helping herself to the fridge and stuff without any hesitation or remorse 😊
An idea for a fanfiction I would like to write/read about them: well i'll just say for now that i definitely want to do a specific story featuring the market quartet sometime.
anyhow, something about her makes me feel like shes a prime candidate for those AUs where she swaps roles with another character (like megumu or kanako) yet somehow retains mostly the exact same personality and mannerisms.
Something that makes me think of them: i will always think of chimata now whenever i purchase goods and services, and remember to thank her for keeping me alive 😊

HELLO HELLO HELLO omg sorry im so late a-levels are kicking me in the balls rn but BOY DO I HAVE SOME WORDS FOR YOU !! funnily enough i've been on a merlin rewatch. s2e9 as we speak (i lied. i've been typing so long s2e10 is on)
this is all gonna be so vague but just THINK about the way they are so interconnected -- both pairings. you can read it platonic, queerplatonic or romantic it literally doesn't matter but like it goes. two sides of the same coin. and there's always gonna be some underlying subtext
they both start out not on uh- good terms with one another. merthur moreso than desertduo but there's still that sense of "oh god i'm with him" that we at least get from grian's pov, if we dig our heels a lil bit into the lore.
merthur begins (first of all with a homoerotic fight, but moving on) with merlin saving arthur, albeit not intentionally intentionally, and then he gets stuck as his manservant -- a position that he actually grows very fond of despite his grievances at the beginning of the series. desertduo begins in the complete opposite way -- grian accidentally takes scar's first life and feels indebted to him until his first life is gone, except he carries on by scar's side until the very end, pretty much, and his feelings can easily be described as "exasperated, but fond".
scar is arthur and grian is merlin, no matter what the colour schemes of the pairings may suggest. it is well known and absolutely no secret that both grian and merlin, the 'sidekicks' and right-hand men of their respective series, are the true brains behind the brawn. (thinks of scar's abs) god, i could even link a million things between the magic of both but then i'd be getting a bit too much into watcher lore. wings, dragons, etc etc etc I'M HERE TO TALK ABOUT THE DYNAMIC.
skipping over the middle part, for there are a lot of details and i like to ramble, we move to the end of both series (third life specifically). at the bare bone of it -- one (literally and... practically) dies in the arms of the other. you could even stretch it as far as by the hand of the other, if you think back to merlin allowing mordred to live, consequences and all (grian (minecraft) punches scar to (minecraft) death, and by that you could say scar died in the arms of grian... technically.) (im not grasping at straws in just drawing parallels)
and so, both grian and scar are left to deal with the grief of the death of their... friend? companion? partner? soulmate? or a million other words that don't exist in the english language that describe this connection. merthur and desertduo gravitate towards each other, in a frantic, scrambling but firm hand hold that just. isn't. enough. to save both of them from falling.
a small note, because my brain never has had enough: "i warn you, i've been trained to kill since birth" is something i can exactly imagine scar saying (and "how long have you been training to be a prat" is in turn a grian line)

i. i think. i’m thinking about carmine’s voicelines about kieran during the start of the teal mask dlc again. (also. i wrote a lot. AGAIN. GODS. more under the cut, as always)
“Oh yeah. So my little brother here has been all googly-eyed over you since yesterday. He wouldn't stop talking about you—even at home. I seriously couldn't get him to shut up."

he’s so. you can tell he really likes the MC from the get go. like it’s super obvious that he likes you, romantically or platonically. maybe it’s cuz i’m arospec but this also reads as like, a super big squish to me since i get those myself sometimes and it’s like. i really really really wanna be ur friend. i think you are So Cool, but also i am terrified of actually initiating interaction, so i’ll just. sit here. (ofc carmine sees this and is like GOD. talk to the person. jesus i don’t wanna hear you pining over the new kid while we’re eating dinner)

this line also haunts me. like kieran’s always known to be shy, and doesn’t like to talk to new people much (or even the rest of the townsfolk, which are ppl he very likely grew up with), and he’s also super super insecure about himself and his abilities. and yet he really doesn’t like losing? this feels a lot like kieran was actually decent in pokemon battles growing up, at least in kitakami. it’s probably why he and carmine got into blueberry academy, which reads kinda like a special boarding school located across the world (kitakami feels like it’s located near japan-inspired regions like kanto, johto, hoenn, and sinnoh).
also, competitive schools are hard! and they can be pretty damaging too, especially when it feels like your worth is based solely on your battling skills. so while kieran was good, he wasn’t amazing at it, and knowing his character, probably got really overwhelmed by all of it and like. pushed himself into the bottom rung. kieran hates losing, but he also can’t deny that there are tons of other students who are way better at him. he probably tried to improve himself for awhile, but felt that it didn’t get him anywhere cuz he still wasn’t good enough.
actually, probably one of the biggest reasons kieran latches onto the player besides plot reasons is cuz we’re both really strong AND were actually really nice to him. i feel like he doesn’t really experience that kind of open kindness from others (carmine does clearly care about him, its just the way she shows it can be very difficult to tell), so when he does experience that from someone strong, he’s like Wowzers… they’re so cool… and super nice…
so like. kieran’ relationship with the player is probably the only “close” relationship he’s had with anyone that doesn’t feel overwhelmingly imbalanced power dynamic wise. until, well. the rest of the teal mask dlc. because the player is someone that kieran actually feels connected with for once (even though he really, really hates the player at this point), they end up warping into this like. idealized goal for him to beat. a goal that he can actually reach, for once, something that feels realistic. so his ego flares up again, as does his competitive nature! the player is kieran’s flame that keeps him burning, that keeps him alive (in a sense), because he stops putting himself down and actually tries really hard to reach his goals.
obvs the way he did it was. extremely unhealthy (even moreso when you dump in my headcanons of him being extremely sleep deprived every day for months and surviving on caffeinated drinks), but it does make him active again. kieran’s no longer in his slump; he has a goal to reach, and he can be extremely determined when he wants to be (and stubborn, but that’s for another time)

i wasn't quite sure if you wanted their relationship to be similar to casual friends in general, or moreso them acting like casual friends in front of other people. i decided to go with the latter, hope that's alright with you

taeju and his s/o acting like casual friends
taeju is more of a private lover, so it's no surprise that his relationship with you came off as a mere friendship to others.
it's not like you were totally against acting like a couple—because you weren't.
but with both of your jobs, it might be more problematic than one would expect. he's choi mujin's right-hand man, and you were a simple assistant.
his work was dangerous, and he had always expressed a bit of fear that you could potentially be harmed because of it.
he spent most of his time running around and doing tasks for mujin or accompanying the man, so it wasn't like you got much time to act like a couple in public anyway.
it happened pretty naturally, actually.
taeju was a very formal guy in the first place, so when he was on the clock you could expect him to treat you like nothing but a colleague.
you were a bit surprised to see him treating you like a casual friend, but you'd take that over the formality you assumed would happen.
of course this is all different when it's just the two of you. casual relationship things happen, and it's definitely a stark contrast to how you act around others.
other people never suspect a shred of anything between you two.
the only person to have the lightest suspicions is mujin himself. taeju has been his right-hand for a long time, it's naturally strange to see him sparing glances and friendly hellos at a meager assistant.
he didn't care enough to question the man though. as long as you didn't get in the way of taeju's performance, mujin couldn't care less.
aside from that, the other workers under mujin would never imagine someone like taeju was romantically involved with you. his glances are only seen by mujin because they're constantly working near each other, but other than that, he makes them as sneaky as possible.
this dynamic between the two of you comes in handy at times.
you're never considered a potential weakness to taeju. whether it's mujin who thinks this or an enemy.
mujin doesn't think you'll get in the way, so it's a win-win for both of you.
whereas enemies don't try to use you against him, and that's all he could ever ask for.
in the end, the both of you acting like nothing but friends gives you more benefits than you could ever imagine it would. it leaves the stress of your safety off of his shoulders, and you don't have to worry about getting scolded by mujin.
the extent of your romantic relationship in public isn't much.
you hold conversations with each other much more than taeju would with anyone else, but it's hardly noticeable.
if no one is around, he might give your hand or shoulder a quick squeeze.
truly, affection doesn't come easily in public. sometimes you get a little tired of it, but he makes up for it when it's just the two of you behind closed doors.
speaking of, your relationship dynamic changes pretty drastically when you're alone.
you like to do a lot of the cheesy couple stuff together. it makes up for the obscurity of your jobs.
watching shitty romcoms, making heart-shaped pizzas (they never come out of the oven looking like a heart though), and all of that. more often than not, it's you bringing up these ideas and him playing along with them to make you happy.
the affection level definitely goes up when you're in private. you're very content with that.
the banter the two of you had surprisingly stays pretty similar to when you're in public. taeju finds it a little difficult to turn off that filter during what little free time you have together.
though it can be slightly difficult for you to act like nothing but friends, he does have his way of making sure you know that he loves you.
this is done pretty subtly most of the time.
shared glances, most often. but in those glances are eyes filled with an overwhelming amount of love. he also likes to leave tiny notes in your work locker. he's really sweet when it comes to stuff like that.
occasionally he goes with something a little more noticeable.
one day you were sitting at your desk and a sudden delivery of flowers arrived.
they had your name on them and it was a bouquet of your favorite flowers. there was no mistaking that they were for you.
while the card didn't tell you who they were from, you knew.
while that stuff happens sometimes, most of the time he treats you casually.
you get used to it pretty quickly. as long as you're aware that he still loves you, you don't mind acting like you're friends.
it's still quite an honor to be 'friends' with taeju. not many get that title. he's kind when he needs to be, but he never gets close enough to the people he works with to consider them friends.
so either way, you get special treatment from him.
overall...
taeju holds you dear to him, which is why he treats you like a friend in the first place.
whether it's for your safety or just how he acts, he still loves you a lot and will do the most for you when he needs to.

Hi I've been wanting to ask someone this for quite a while and I think you're the right person cause I love your interpretation of cas. I wonder if you could give me your view of how cas took it when dean called him his brother in s11.
Before the sacrifice, when they were saying their goodbyes, after talking to sam, dean comes to talk to cas but they didn't have their hug right there (did they even talk then? If not, what could have been their interaction?). It seemed a bit off. As if cas kind of closed himself up first but then felt guilty and so interrupted dean's talk with chuck to hug him. And dean is like Okay Okay and then has the Talk. Why didn't they just have the talk and the hug before dean went to chuck? (I'll send you the reference videoi, didn't know we can't upload a video for asks.)
Anyway, following this, the entire of s12, cas was behaved kinda pissed, Lost, trying to find a new purpose, suicidal. I don't mean to ask if it's because of being brozoned cause cas in general is kinda like that, but I've just been wondering what all actions of cas were a result of (or atleast being partly affected by) dean calling him his brother. Hope to hear your thoughts on this but theres absolutely no pressure 💜
thank you!! and honestly sorry, but I don’t have too many thoughts about that specific interaction. like I’ve seen joke posts about how Cas looks like an abandoned puppy after Dean calls him brother and I think that’s pretty much the case.
and like there’s a weird thing going on where Dean situates Cas in the Highest Tier of Friendship (calling him family), but in s12 Cas says to Mary I don’t know if I belong here. so like I think Cas just took the comment to generally mean that Dean considers him to be a close friend, but that doesn’t mean he strictly “belongs” with the Winchesters, and it definitely means that romantic stuff is off the table (which Cas takes as a rejection, even if that’s not actually the case, because Cas has never broached the subject with Dean).
in general the way I approach spn, especially later seasons, is very selective and vibes based. like I find taking everything as a single cohesive linear story to be very frustrating because it takes for granted a lot of the weird miserable baked in dynamic in tfw that was cemented in carver era. big plot stuff is often not addressed, or addressed very dismissively/quickly (like the aftermath of the MoC arc for example), so my response to that is to basically be like, okay well if the show doesn’t think this is emotionally important than I won’t either. which is a roundabout way of saying I don’t have too many intelligent thoughts about the transition from the s11 finale and bro comment to Cas being detached and distant in s12. That’s not to say there’s no connection (I think you made a good one!), I just personally don’t have a lot of thoughts about it. And laying all my cards on the table, most of my attention and energy for s12 goes towards Mary and Dean because that’s the emotional core of the season. So I don’t like “ignore” Cas or anything, but I don’t use s12 to read a lot into his character if that makes sense.
I think Cas accepted that Dean only ever thinks of him as a friend a long time ago, so while the brother comment still stings, it’s not especially surprising to him. I prefer late seasons destiel getting together, but that’s moreso because the main cast has a more established friend group, and s12 especially makes for a good “fresh start” with a lot of their relationships with each other because of Mary’s sudden introduction into their lives. Like I think it makes Dean re-evaluate the relationships he has with the people around him, it makes him reconsider the relationship he had with this father, and it gives him a come-to-jesus-esque moment where he realises that he needs to like, work through some stuff and let go of a lot of emotional baggage so that he can be happier and healthier with the people he loves. Which leads to him and Cas getting together!
Anyway I feel like this is probably a very unsatisfying answer sorry lol. Feel free to reply/send more asks if I didn’t answer your question, this is kinda rambly and all over the place

i like data/geordi a lot! i think it's cute, yknow.<3 inot so much a unique, novel answer- though i think, in general.... god, it's really hard to describe. because it's like- TO ME, data/geordi to me are a pairing where i dont always label them in my head. does that make any sense?? like- i'll call them boyfriends and besties cutely and whatnot, but im also just sort of like ... (draws a love heart around the options that say relationship status for them)
like, dont twist tht: i dont mean it (or at least, i dont intend to mean it) in like a SUPER PRETENTIOUS sense? like goodness... blah blah blah, these characters transcend romance, or that their bond is more particular than any others, blah... moreso- i feel like data himself, and relationships of any sort, will inherently be different. and thats ok! bc the world is inherently different for him, and its like hmm...
idk how to explain it that well, you see, but its not that i dont think data cant NOT feel romantic love- but rather i dot think he'd feel different "types" of love at all, or at least not as clearly as we do, or its in a different way than we do, or- whatever..... i suppose thats a very abstract take on it, and partially its like. anyway fr tho everyone is data's bestie i think. literally what i will say about data is i think literally his dynamic works very well with, like, everyone because he IS a particular type of character and i think his perspective and inquisitive nature do, like, lend themselves to encourage certain reflection from each individual - so long as they're open to him. i really enjoy almost all other dynamics he has with ppl pretty equally!? i guess with the exceptions of picard and pulaski- neither of those really.... brought much to the show, in my opinion.

ALSO. i havent seen the tng movies. hell- i might... man, i MIGHT. maybe when my exams are done- i feel like... this will sound so goofy, but i try to wait for specific days for things tht will be important to me. :3 ik at some point data gets an emotion chip- and i dont think this is that unpopular at all, but i suppose that this will be my own opportunity to say that i fucking HATE that... like i dont have to see it. I HATE IT.
like- in general, i hate the emotion chip. even with it not in his head- the very notion of it is bullshit, nothing girl<3 as corny and as shitty as a narrative move as it would be, i'd rather it were a fucking placebo- some bullshit "the emotions were inside of you all along!!!<3" kind of move. bc like... i mean. well. they are. data already feels plenty- he differs only in exactly HOW he processes the world, how he was learnt it, etc...... to make him seamlessly human, i think that'd only make sense if you completely erased all sense of self he had and rebuild him to percieve more "humanly" from the ground up. it certainly shouldnt be a chip that you can stick in his head that can be turned on and off at will.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon
(strokes my chin) hmmm i am not sure. i'll think on it. i do- i do WISH... sigh. i dont know. i think its moreso a problem with tng and its format in general- i do kind of wish... there could have been more progression, yknow? in the sense of. mm. i wish characters actually WOULD-would understand him.
and its like- its like... sigh. i dont want ALL of them to. i think the way picard treats data? hell, i hate it- but it makes a hell of a lot of sense, and i think its realistic for him to be snappy with him. for him not to properly sit down and try to understand data- like that does... actually make sense to me, from what i get from picard as a person. unfortunately enough. and its like- im not "fine" fine with that, but i like it in terms of like. a character decision bc i actually do value some sense of honesty with that but then in comparison....
idk... theres some other characters who will be dismissive or irritated with him sometimes. and again- i suppose it is just... how people would BE, but its like. they will all insist they love him but then also fail to understand him and get mad when he starts going to funny decimal points and its like. nooo babes... ITS LIKE I GET IT- everyone will have their moments of frustration/irritation, and HELL even everyone will have their limits of understanding, but then its also... like idk. a lot of the time some ppl who rlly should, at a point, understand him will then make a comment at him that... just doesnt FIT right. and i think its moreso- HONESTLY, i think its moreso writers trying to get in a funny haha data is an android joke in which despite it just kinda being clunky to the scene and- EH. its annoying i guess. thats just what it is, sometimes.

But the thing about Light and L is...
Even though I’ve heard Ohba and Obata are homophobic (as I understand it, much of Japan is still pretty conservative), Rem loving Misa was a thing. But then again, you could have argued that Rem’s love for Misa wasn’t necessarily romantic. I think it was moreso later adaptations (that were kind of out of the creators’ hands) that made it romantic. Though maybe that was always their intent with them. I think maybe it was. I hope that it was.
But despite all of the subtext with Light and L--and there is a lot of it--I don’t think they ever meant for it to be implied that they were in love or anything like that.
Though I do think the story tries to tell a “in an alternate universe, these two would be the best of friends, so it’s sort of sad that they aren’t here” tale.
Because for one thing, many have said that Ohba has come out and said that if Light never found the Death Note, he would have ended up working with his father and would have eventually met L and the two of them would have been friends for real then.
But I’ve seen others say that Ohba just said that if Light never found the Death Note, he would be a detective, working alongside his father. And maybe people just assumed that his line of work probably would have put him in contact with L eventually then, etc.?
In the manga and anime, L says that Light is the only friend that he’s ever had. But in the “How to Read” it’s revealed that this was a lie on L’s part, to try and manipulate Light, and that he actually probably thinks some pretty nasty things about Light/Kira. However, after this, the How to Read mentions how in the Yotsuba arc, Light and L develop a strange friendship and work well together.
And in the manga, Light ends up thinking about how he got “too emotional with L” (and he let things progress too far, and he must hurry and kill him, then).
The fact of the matter is, that Light and L have a fascinating dynamic and relationship. They’re each other’s equal (in intelligence) and opposite (they’re written as each other’s perfect Foil). And they’re also sort of a mirror of each other.
And the fact of the matter is, Light misses L after he dies. He’s far too bored without him. (And though it’s not written by Ohba, and many see it as OOC, L seems to miss Light in the “L Change the World” novel, which is essentially an alternate timeline where Light dies before L).
And both see the game they play with each other as the most fun they’ve ever had.
Despite all the lies and mind games, too, their relationship with each other is their most genuine one that they’ve ever had.
And adapters and fans alike see how interesting this dynamic is, as both add things that weren’t in the original canon (in terms of “canon”, the drama and musical perhaps being the biggest offenders).
But the anime has a scene where Light, where his game is up, is asking all of the people who’s worked for him (even those who have died at this point; pretty much anyone) to be there for him, as he’s being shot to death. And while it was probably just a hallucination on Light’s part, the person who ends up being there for him in his last moments is L. Edit: And there’s sort of a moment similar to this in the drama. When the building Light’s in is burning, the Death Note is burning, and he is burning. And he thinks that if it all ends here, and he can’t create his perfect world, then he killed his dad and L for nothing. First he flashbacks to his dad, and then he flashbacks to L.
There’s also something to be said about the handcuff that connects them for part of the story (L uses this as a means to closely monitor Light’s actions). He says that while he and Light are connected to the two cuffs, they share the same fate... and this actually ends up being true. Because, while the manga/anime takes the long approach here (though other versions have Light die right after L does), L being alive--and keeping things interesting for Ryuk--was what was keeping Light alive. As soon as things become uninteresting to him, he writes Light’s name in the Death Note.
Something also of note, is that when many fans say that, “Man, in another life, these two really could have been something together, but it’s just too bad”, they often seem to put Light at blame for it all. But L’s pretty fucked up and shares the blames as well.
So, yeah... I don’t really know what the point of all of this was. But Light and L are super super interesting. And while I don’t really think they were at all intended to be seen as romantic, so many people (including me) can read into that for a reason... it’s all of this above stuff.

Hey new 🐢 anon here. I wanted to talk to you about the last night GG hotel incident. It was so horrifying. I have been into Kdrama and Kpop long before I started watching C dramas. The Sasaeng culture there really bother me. What I don't understand is that why the companies don't take any legal actions against these fans. There is enough video evidence against them and its not hard to identify them from their own videos. So why not file complain against them for harassment and invasion of privacy and put them in jail. Is it because this obsessive fans spend a lot of money on merch and other things??? But clearly the damage they do is greater than the profit. So why don't they take any action against this fans. I have seen some companies banning few sasaeng from attending shows and all but have never heard of any company taking any legal action against them. Why? Can anyone shed some light on this.
I think @accio-victuuri did a really good job of answering that question recently so I'll just point you to that post.
A couple other points worth making:
A lot of these fans are minors - teenage girls - so there are limitations to what can be done legally.
It's often difficult to prove any one particular fan has been responsible for certain activity, and a lot of the activities are actually legal (i.e. taking photos, for example, or standing around in public areas).
But ultimately as accio-victuuri said, the onus is put upon the celebrities to control fans, moreso than on any external company to protect them. Look at how Weibo helped fuel the harassment against GG last year vs making any attempt to curb it, yet they were the only ones with the complete power to put a stop to it. Sadly the fan culture there is pretty fucked up, and the deck is heavily stacked against celebrities.
Also, there are reports that the incident in GG's hotel involved antis, not fans. They were blocking him in the hallway and chanting slurs at him. It's difficult to know what's really true, except one thing seems clear: that hotel has shit security. Perhaps someone on staff was paid off or something, but the situation was inexcusable. I hope they find better accommodations and/or beef up security.
One other thing that I forgot to add is that celebrity culture in China actively promotes this completely unhinged romantic fantasy type of fandom that leads to this type of stalking. Money is king, and these romantic fantasies drive more sales, drive more viewership and ultimately drive more profits, so of course those with a financial stake in a celebrity's career are going to be much more likely to promote those fantasies than to try to curb them in any way.
As a result, you end up with a dynamic where celebrities are simultaneously being stalked while the studios and management and agencies and so forth are all promoting celebrities in a way that further fuels that stalking. The celebrities are basically being exploited from all sides and it's left up to them to manage their own security situation. If a problem comes up, it's viewed as their responsibility to tell their fans how to behave. And you see based on how many times GG has lectured his fans how truly ineffective that is. But no one seems to care.
And as @ohnoyizhan pointed out, it is extremely lucrative to be a stalker. They can make a lot of money from the information and photos they acquire. It's a disgusting reality, but it is a reality.
And so stalkers can afford pay people off to gain access to areas they're not supposed to be in, they can afford to hire drivers to follow celebrities, even disobeying traffic laws. They can afford to book seats on flights the celebrities are on, they can afford to book hotel rooms in the same hotels where celebrities are staying. It's really quite disgusting. The money they make stalking helps to bankroll their stalking.
One other element that I think warrants mentioning is that I have heard from C-fans that stalker fans often have a lot of leverage because of the material that they sometimes have on a celebrity. So celebrities really can't afford to piss off those stalker fans too much, because they could find some very sensitive information being leaked to the public that could seriously damage their careers.
So as you can see there are a lot of truly toxic layers to why stalking is so serious and such a serious and dangerous problem.

Hey so I can't stop thinking about Loki kiss as in why was Kang the conqueror included? This was weird enough for me that I measured the time of the kiss (about 9 seconds) and I measured the time that Kang was included (about 3 seconds). During about one third of the sylki kiss we could watch kang watch them kiss. Sylvie kisses Loki, they move and the camera moves with them but then, instead of stopping on them front and center, it includes blurry Kang. Who's just sitting there. Watching them. Was that supposed to be awkward/funny? Or dramatic bc Kang is so dangerous (even if he really doesn't seem to be)? Or make the whole thing just this bit weirder? Like it just makes no sense to me?? What was that about? (im asking here bc i genuinely would like to know the reason but anyway feel free to ignore me and release yourself of this ughh)

Hahahah no worries at all!
Here's my thing about Si1ki: I have no problem with the ship (I mean, I ship Sherlock with himself sometimes, so I would be a hypocrite if I shat on the ship), but I JUST DON'T SEE IT; it felt REALLY forced. I understand the metaphor they were trying to go for (you need to love yourself before others) but like.... the WHOLE "romance" felt weird. Mobius, ON SCREEN, even said it was "sick and twisted", so like, once he said that, I couldn't unsee it, and I think that was the problem: You on screen still acknowledge it, yet you still go with it.
Almost like Disney is more okay with anything else than they are with queer relationships. But I digress.
Please note I am speaking from a Loki X Mobius bias, so take what you will from my thoughts. It felt like they really were gonna go there. But I'm the clown in believing Disney, after canonically confirming Loki's bisexuality, would go there. It's performative activism, and Disney, heaven forbid, have a story with a male and female lead and NOT make them romantic interests... It's SO TIRING. Because up until the weird... THING in Episode 4, I had high hopes they were gonna go the BFF's / sibling dynamic, but yeah, the romance felt REALLY forced and weird, and the kiss even moreso.
I don't think she really liked Loki "That Way", and used Loki's confused feelings against him. I say that because she REALLY showed NO interest in the whole thing they had in Episode 5, and he's just SO desperate for love and companionship that I think he is will take what he can get. The Lokius Hug in E5 felt REALLY genuine, like two people who care and understand each other, and two people who – if nothing else – share a platonic Philia love for each other. AND they had a chemistry that shined on screen. I don't FEEL that with Loki and Sylvie. They care about each other, that's all I really got out of it.
If they were writing a romance, I PERSONALLY thought it was poorly written and executed even worse. The kiss was cringe, didn't make the romance "more real" and didn't give me the same vibes that the hug did, and it SHOULDN'T do that if it was well written. BUT I've never been in any serious relationship ever, so what do I know. Maybe I'm just too ace to "get the clues" but even movies where I KNOW that the main characters are supposed to be together, I feel the chemistry. I love both Tom and Sophia as their characters, but the "romantic" chemistry wasn't there.
Anyway, just my own gripe about it all.
BUT YES, your second ask in regards to Kang being there is also how I took it, and the kiss was a distraction. He knew what she was going to do; he studied her character all his life, he KNEW she wasn't going to just NOT do it. She never had the love of her family, and bitterness and resentment is all she knew. She didn't get to go through the character arc / development that our 2012 Loki got to, and HONESTLY? I think it's because she didn't HAVE someone like Mobius who believed in her. And Loki knew that, and unfortunately, his verbal trust in her came too late.
That said, I think we'll see her again, but I don't think she's gonna ever be a "good guy"; she'll be a morally grey character like MCU Loki was, and will probably go out in the same way, somehow.
I do like her, I just REALLY felt like the whole romance was shoehorned in by some top exec at Disney who thought it wouldn't be successful without one.
