Obey Me! Nightbringer Lesson 24 Spoilers

I am genuinely loving the fact that we are getting to see the brothers displaying their sins.

I was a fan of Mammon's reaction towards MC when his greed took over, but now we get this from Asmo? Yes! I feel like this is a perfect reaction from our conceited little cutie~

I loved this particular scene for one reason :

Imagine what a serious blow that was to Lucifer's ego.

The dynamic between Lucifer and Solomon is one that I highly enjoy witnessing, because there is so much tension and oftentimes passive-aggressive bickering amongst the two (especially when MC is involved).

So Lucifer openly admitting that he can't hold out against Asmo for long, that he won't be able to protect MC, and then telling them to run to Solomon? No, he actually sends MC to Solomon.

I don't imagine Lucifer was very happy about this entire situation. Obviously he's worried about his brother, but he also had to set aside his pride in so many (little) ways here.

I dunno... maybe it's just the teeny bit of sadist in me, but there's something I like about vulnerable Lucifer lol

There needs to be more Yandere Asmo honestly. You're the first being he's actually loved more than himself, you think that's not going to be extreme and something that messes with him to his core? (Not YOU you, but like, people in general lol)

I think Asmodeus would be more yandere than people give him credit for. I think he'd be the type to happily parade you around and show how perfect he thinks you are, but easily snap and slaughter anyone who gets too close and thinks they have the right to touch you.

Like, I feel he's the type to be worshipping in a sense. He bathes you, pampers you, buys you the expensive and exquisite things in the devildom, brushes your hair, plans your outfits, and lavishes you in his attention and love every step of the way. Completely obsessive in my eyes, can't have enough time with you and any praise you give him means more than any words spewed at him from random fans or even haters.

I think Asmodeus needs more attention! But that's just my two cents :3

Been thinking about the House of Lamentations lately. Back in the first season, it's mentioned that a family of seven was murdered there, and that's pretty much all we know about this incident. The killer, though, was never found. Nobody know to this day if the killer was the firstborn or the butler, which was later found hanged in his room - funny enough this is Mc's room

I think it would be interesting if Mc bought this house without knowing the tragedy it is associated with, or perhaps they could be a ghost hunter looking for clues about supernatural beings or even a teenager!Mc who just loves exploring haunted houses.

And there ofc, they meet the brothers + Lili who for some are trapped in the house or smth. And instead of scaring them, they become fond of this little dumb human who just walked into their house without a care in the world

Might expand this later ngl, I'm brainrotting with this atm. If anyone was any idea similar to this I'II more than happy to hear as well :3

I feel like if you want to escape the house of lamentation, you have to be REAL careful what method you use.

If you make Leviathan or Asmodeus bored of you— not hate! Just bored, and make them realize they would get more of a reaction from someone else, spending time to show them some prime examples of partners while also showing that when you do try you just can’t compete, and they’re ultimately putting too much effort into a relationship that even if you agree to, you just aren’t going to give them enough… If you bore them, you’ll walk away scot free.

However, boring them won’t work with everyone. Some of them you have to make hate you. Lucifer for example would be able to find contentment in a less than glamorous life with you. So, you need to do your best to just be horrible for his image. Every intimate act is public and you gush over him, lowering your self worth and by extension: his. He can’t be associated with someone who embarrasses him so often when he tries to be nice, in his roundabout way. And you shouldn’t be telling everyone his business!

Mammon is a bit trickier, because he’s got such a tolerance for being bullied, and for cringe, so you can’t embarrass him. But you can nag him on his faults constantly, throw away parts of his hoard with the reasoning that it’s “unsanitary” and trying to “tidy up” his room. Always rat him out to debt collectors, demand he throw away the biohazard’s in his room, discreetly deep clean his car and throw out any trash you find. Don’t be cruel to him, it’ll only make him cling harder despite being unhappy. But make it known that if you are in his space, his things aren’t safe. And he’ll slowly pull away, years at a time. Try to remain friends, knowing full well you won’t be. He’ll find it too weird, given his previous obsession and possessive tendencies to you.

And again: you have to be really, really careful what method you choose. Because if you over or under do it, any of them may just become worse.

For example, it’s best to make Beel feel like you can protect yourself for the most part, and he only needs to step in occasionally. Don’t feed into his delusions, but don’t deny them outright. Let him feel like the best way to help you is to be distant. Because if Beelzebub feels disillusioned with you, you’re not going to have a more obsessed demon.

Beel, if throughly annoyed and no longer enamoured with you, will stop seeing you as this whimsical and cunning human, and will begin to just see you as human. You’re about as special as any other human, about as in need of protection. But that doesn’t change your species. Did those other humans have interests, hobbies, ideology, friends, family, a vision for their life? Maybe. But that never stopped him before.

You were kept alive, like one might keep a pet pig or chicken. And though you can put a ribbon on it, it is what it is in the end. And since you’ve outlived your purpose as anything else: Beelzebub is going to eat you.

Hi, I came to expand that obey me barbarian au

The reason why the brothers came for MC is because they meet them during their childhood. Little MC was playing at the outskirts of their village when they heard a pained cry, they investigated and found little Mammon with injuries. Little Mammon was wary on the stranger but little MC managed to heal his wound, once he was healed he stood up and ran.

The next day MC came back to see if that strange boy was there, sure enough he was with two others, Little Lucifer and and Levi stared warily at them while Mammon gave them a small gift while blushing and looking away. MC happily accepted, Mammon and MC played for a bit followed by Levi then Lucifer.

The next day there was no Mammon but Little Satan and Asmo, they were collecting items when they saw MC, they must have knew who they were cause Asmo waved to them excitedly. They ended up making flower crowns and petting cats that came to them.

The next day MC brought with them food and found Little Beel and Belphie, they and Beel played while little Belphie just watched them, after that Mc and Beel ate while Belphie used their laps as a bed.

The next day MC came none of them was there, they waited until they heard their name calling, maybe they'll come the next day. But it was the same thing, they kept on waiting and waiting until they stopped coming. It made them sad, maybe their new friends got tired of them.

But it wasn't, their tribe had to move because of settlement disputes in MC's village, but the brothers promised one day, they'll burn that insufferable village to the ground and claimed their future lover back.

their love for you starts out as innocent - a puppy crush if anything. one that could cause no harm to anyone, especially not you.

watching you go about your day, whether you knew about it or not, was the more interesting activity for the young barbarian boys.

even lucifier, the one who seemed the most obsessed with the constant training and massacres taught to them all by their tribe leaders, had to admit that seeing you even for just a second felt more worthwhile of his time.

that was until diavolo, their current tribe leader and older brother, found out about their visits to you.

as time moves on, said visits become less lengthy and less frequent, until eventually they just stop showing up at all.

you, of course, mourn the loss of your new found friends, but as you grow older you forget the memories you formed with them.

unlike you, they don’t forget.

puppy crushes evolve… almost into sort of wolf-ish obsessions.

they don’t forget the gentle smiles you would share to them, in contrast to the crooked and evil grins they faced from those around them, or even the glares from the others in your village.

they don’t forget having to be dragged from their home; you.

they don’t forget the promises they all made, to find and love and cherish you as soon as they reach of age.

you would do wise to remember, as soon you’ll realise that no amount of distance, no army, and no begging can stop them from getting what they want;

you.

I feel like something the dark/yandere/whatever side of the obey me fandom doesn't talk about enough is that all of the demon brothers and probably even all demons in general have the ability to hypnotize humans and force them to do things. It's not just Asmodeus.

In the Lucifer/Satan bodyswitch arc Lucifer hypnotizes several humans and then explains that all demons can do that and that Asmodeus just has a stronger (probably more horny) version of it.

The reason no other demons try to hypnotize MC is because Lucifer forbid it.

Since MC is immune to Asmodeus hypnosis that probably applies to most other demon's hypnosis as well but...

Yandere Asmodeus; who spoiled you with gifts but also criticized you so much that you felt insecure. He made sure you always looked up to him, you always saw him as your idol. He didn't want anyone to find out about his love and obsession for you. Especially not his fan-club. Now now, he didn't want you to get in trouble because of him. Aside from that, he wanted everyone to think he loves himself above all else. He wanted everyone to think that his heart was unreachable. Little did his fans know, you lived rent free in his heart.

Yandere Asmodeus; who never got rid of anyone himself, but always used his powers to make others look bad in your eyes. Someone was getting close to you? (Let's call them person A)You seemed interested in another demon? (Person B) Then he would make sure that Peron A did something to Person B. Two birds in one stone, right? And who would dare go against him? Just one glance and he could shut the mouth of all witnesses.

1/ When I was reading the barbarian obey me au I liked to imagine that reader and the brothers spoke different languages (cause the barabrians are nomandic and most likely come from a different language region), so while they may know some words thanks to proximity, they don't know enough to communicate properly... so imagine reader trying to calm mammon down after getting injured and helping him, and then he comes back with a gift which reader assumes is cause he is grateful, but turns out that

2/ ... that was a courting gift they accepted. And Mammon will try to convey that they have a 'relationship' now, but reader takes that as him saying they are friends while he thinks they are engaged. Also, reader prob still plays with the brothers, cause kids can play with each other even when they don't know what they hell anyone is saying, but the brothers are prob saying more disturbing stuff and playing 'pillaging' games while reader is clueless. And then one day the brothers come back and

3/ ... just go: you should have been expecting us, since you promised we would get married, and reader is all like ??? Plus, it opens the possibility that the brothers burned down the village because reader got betrothed to someone else, maybe from a different village even, so they see it as them breaking their promise... ah, the joys of miscommunication 😌 there is just so much potential!

you didn’t want to be rude and just not accept the well-crafted bracelet sat in the young boy’s palms, as he and his brothers looked on at you in a mixture of excitement, pleading, and worry.

and it’s not as though you understood what was meant by the few foreign words that slipped past the black haired boy’s tongue, as the gift was pushed towards you.

you were all young, and as a child you didn’t understand the promise you had made as soon as you took the present into your own hands, a wide toothy smile on your face as you thanked them happily.

it’s not as though they understood your words at the time, but your acceptance was clear and their joy reflected your own.

you had no idea that they were so cheerful for other reasons than having made what you thought yourself as; a friend.

the childishly innocent games you played started to become less childish and less innocent as you grew.

tag became chase. chase became hide-and- seek. hide and seek became hunting.

and every time, you were always the prey.

you never noticed the sinister feel to your friends, laughing as you were caught and giggling at the taunts they shouted whilst trying to find you.

your village noticed, though.

they could feel the pure animosity, the hate that all but radiated from the young boys, especially when you would be called away from them for whatever reason.

they were relived to finally have found a way to make them leave. your parents felt slightly guilty by your tears, but over time you forgot your short-lived friends.

but they did not forget about you.

as you grow older you swear the feeling of eyes watching you increases by the day. even as an adult you can’t help but leave a candle on in your room before bed, hoping to catch that large, looming shadow you always sense in the corner of your room.

maybe it’s the fact you are an adult. maybe it’s because they wanted you to find someone who would make you feel safe.

whatever the reason, you aren’t happy about your parents pushing you into a marriage with a man you’ve never met, a man not even from your village.

but, from the increasing intensity and heat of the eyes following your form, as well as the looming shadow in your room feeling even larger, you’re not sure if the wedding will even happen in the first place. you’re not even sure if there’ll even be a place to have a wedding;

not if your dreams of ash, fire and fury turn out to be truthful.
