I am not okay.
I have tried not to burden everyone on here with my goings on because I've pretty much been convicted knowone wants to hear it or knowone cares. But I'm not okay. It's as simple as that I'm not okay. I have for the last week to two weeks been having various stages of a mental breakdown and I have tried so hard just to push thought and write because it's been the only thing thats given me much to hold onto and much stability but even now that has began to frankly crumble apart. For anyone who cares, my day job which supports me and allows me to pay my bills, my rent and so on has not paid me the pay has been insanely inconsistent for the last six months and now since Christmas it has been extremely late to non existent. All while I have still been expected to travel to my job and work far above my pay grade and be professional all while not being paid and this has caused a very large amount of stress for me. I am not someone who does well with confrontation due to prior trauma but my rent has to be paid I have bills to pay, I haven't been able to get shopping. My day job was already an issue due to being forced to work far above my pay grade and my contracted responsibilities for minimum wage and now I'm not even being paid at all. I haven't been paid for three weeks. Bearing in mind I work a week in hand. I've been working so so hard trying to deal with all of the issues. All the while I've been constantly told to work more, clam down and that I could loose.mt job at any moment because 'they don't need me I need them' I took two weeks off at Christmas in the hope of relaxing however I was still called and messaged daily to work from home over my booked holiday time even on boxing Day. When returning in the new year still my pay was an issue, responsibility and treatment was causing me to have physical stress reactions getting stomach aches and back and heart pains due to stress. Even on time I was off of work the days after and before working I would be a mess unable to function from stress and anxiety. To the extent two weeks ago I ended up having to take two days off due to physically being unable to leave my house without breakdown into tears and heart pains. Even doing something as simple as going to the supermarket caused me to have a panic attack. This has now continued into this week where I still haven't been paid and apon arriving for my shift I worried my Bf so much that he refused to leave me in my office did to his concern for my wellbeing, luckily he didn't because I ended up having a intense panic attack within an hour of being at work and felt I had no other option then to put my foot down demand my pay and leave for the day for the sake of my mental health. And this was met with nothing but being told I would have to use a holiday day for it. Not even a 'hope you feel better' or anything else. Unfortunately due to the fact I haven't been paid for three weeks I'm not even in a position to leave or press the issue. But apon arriving home I have spent three hours on the phone with my therapist who has admitted how concerned she is over my mental health and general state of mind. So much so my Bf was told to keep me close to him, not leave me alone, and if possible to remove items that could caught harm or injuries from my area, because she is concerned about me being at risk. I am still expected to go to work tomorrow. And not be paid for my time. And honestly all I want to do is curl Into a ball and disappear. Currently I am still trying to write I don't know how well that's going or how long that will keep up but currently it's something that brings me comfort. But if I do disappeared, ... I want to say you all shouldn't worry but I'm not sure I can lie to you all.

School is nothing if it isn’t stressful I kinda just eat sleep and homework I’m trying to burn though my backlog of games but that’s going very slow because I have very very limited free time. But I’m doing my best because I just want to experience these games and not just “finish them” but oh well it’ll happen when it does. Currently playing through mgsv the phantom pain after owning it since like launch and all it has me is thinking about what would have happened with me if I had gone to the military but alas a story for another time and place anyway here’s Yotsuba

Work issues
Hello my dears.
Work today, we all have them bad days right, but have you ever had a day where you physically cannot complete your job until your supervisor authorizes things and you are coming down with a cold?
Today is that day, I have been super cold, but then everyone here has been complaining how cold it is in the office today, I have a heater under my desk which i have had on for about 10 minutes to try warm myself up and my supervisor just come over saying we need to save costs and stop using it, but they refuse to put on the heater in the main office, in his mini office though he can have the heat up so high its like a sauna, Don't you all just hate supervisors like that?
We are now officially short staffed, trying to do 3 peoples work alone when I have only been in the business a little while, rarely appreciated and when i feel like crap and feel like I need to spend some time at home in bed I drag myself into work and then am made to feel crappy just so I can try be warm.
Just remember we work to live, you may not enjoy it, but its a fraction of your life, just focus on getting through the day, try be thick skinned and not let anyone dull your sparkle. Most of the time they give you shit as they are scared you can replace them in a heartbeat. Everyone has bad days, Just smile and remember your worth so much more

Feeling Satisfied with your Job Quiz:
1. Do you experience the Sunday Scaries on Sunday night? Yes
2. Does time fly by during the day? Yes
3. How excited are you on weekday mornings? Not excited. Felt like a robot
4. What’s your relationship with your co-workers? Good with boss and sales colleagues. Poor with upper management. Ok with other colleagues- but had more of an on-screen, less personal relationship (all about work)
-I did not feel supported or respected
-My teammates & I didn’t work together to achieve goals. It was a very individualistic culture (I felt like a number)
5. Do you feel like your boss appreciates you? Yes, Luke knows I work very hard & would congratulate me on my success in front of the group. Rahul made me feel valued as well. Adam did not ever make me feel valued or respected and he never tried to get to know me. I’ve never had a talk about my future at Pacvue with anyone at the company (bad sign)
-Adam did not value my contributions
-Senior management didn’t value my Best Practices decks, my CitrusAd $100,000 partnership negotiation, providing competitor intel & pricing, helping with the agency Commerce referral program, or anything else above-and-beyond my job
6. Do you complain about work to family & friends? Yes, I complained about how I wasn’t paid fair commissions, the billing team forgot to pay me commissions, I would have to give accounts to others on the team, our product team wouldn’t provide product updates, etc.
-If you find yourself continually complaining about your job & not the good stuff, it’s a red flag
-I only stayed at Pacvue for the money. I didn’t feel valued or respected. I want that in my next job
7. How do you react when things get challenging? I would complain because I felt that bad things kept happening over and over again without apology or improvement.
-When the going gets tough, do you want to throw in the towel or do you embrace the struggle? When you love what you do, you take challenges in stride. The end goal is worth it
8. Do you care about what you’re working on? Yes for my sales job with clients. No for when Adam would take accounts away from me or when I’d have to be involved with onboarding, customer success, technical issues, billing, or commissions
-No for Adam’s sales team calls
9. Are you interested in what goes on at your company outside your job? No. Only when it comes to product updates
10. How do you feel at the end of the workday? Exhausted. Often frustrated & trying to block out the bad thoughts of what I’ve faced throughout the day
-It’s perfectly normal to feel tired because you’ve invested your time & energy to produce something of value. But if you find yourself exhausted because each day is a struggle, it’s time to consider why that’s the case

6 Ways to Cope With Work Stress and Avoid Burnout?
Tumblr media
Coping with work stress and preventing burnout is crucial for maintaining overall well-being and job satisfaction. Here are six effective ways to manage work-related stress, along with how TalkToAngel “Online counseling” can provide assistance:
Set Boundaries: Establish clear boundaries between work and personal life. Avoid overextending yourself by working excessively long hours or constantly checking work-related emails and messages outside of work hours. Use your time off to recharge.
Time Management: Prioritize tasks, create a to-do list, and break your workload into manageable segments. Use time management techniques to stay organized and reduce feelings of overwhelm.
Seek Support: Reach out to colleagues, friends, or family for emotional support and to discuss work-related challenges. Sometimes, talking about your stressors with someone you trust can provide relief.
Practice Stress-Reduction Techniques: Incorporate stress-reduction techniques into your daily routine, such as mindfulness meditation, deep breathing exercises, or progressive muscle relaxation.
Set Realistic Goals: Avoid setting unrealistic expectations for yourself. Recognize that perfection is not always attainable, and it’s okay to ask for help or delegate tasks when needed.
Professional Counseling: Consider seeking professional counseling to address work-related stress and burnout. TalkToAngel counseling provides a platform where you can connect with licensed therapists who specialize in stress management and work-related issues.
TalkToAngel can be a valuable resource in your journey to cope with work stress and prevent burnout. Their experienced counselors can provide personalized support and evidence-based strategies to help you navigate workplace challenges and improve your overall well-being.
