I know that the fandom wiki claims that Akutagawa and Gin have a healthy, loving sibling relationship, but I'm calling bullshit. There is no possible way that Gin doesn't have some kind of complex when their older brother who mutually cares for them is the most wanted man in the city, their direct superior at work, and has superpowers. The Akutagawa siblings have the emotional/mental healthiness of a pair of orphans who were taken in by the mafia at an early age, I cannot believe in a universe where Akutagawa and Gin's dynamic is one hundred percent positive.

I was in the car and superpowers came on my shuffle. I actually lifted my head to the sky when the song told me to, looking up through the sunroof. everything was beautiful, the sun was beaming, the car was in motion, the birds were calm, the leaves on the trees were a vibrant shade of green and were blowing gently in the wind. the sky was so blue and the clouds were incredibly defined. everything was clear for a second, then suddenly the same clouds that were once clear in my vision became blurry through the tears I was weeping.

Y'all, I know this space between chapters is quite large, but I'm genuinely surprised at how quickly this current chapter is going. I only started writing it three days ago and now, I'm on my final draft. Which means I can do a final read through of Chapter 28 and then upload it (which I've been dying to do, ever since I started it).

I’d rather use “steal” or, even better (my morals would never allow me to steal anything), “borrow” powers from anyone than “switch” powers with anyone. Because after all I’m just a young woman with no powers behind the mask and the costume.

Having said that, I’m friends with Supergirl and Zatanna and they know I admire them so much and wish I could have their powers even for just 24 hours. Crimefighting would be easier then.
