Finally had the time to finish these sketches! These were based on the fanfic “Truth cast in the fresnel lens” made by @darnold-longkid . The writing is just magnificent and I am in awe how every paragraph feels like a newly written poem. Definitely my favourite HA! fanfiction, probably of all time. I can only recommend this read.

The best comment ive ever gotten

Ive been having issues with my latest fic of people complaining it doesnt have 100℅ canon facts in it, the characters seem to make bad choices or let their fear take over a situation or that some characters seem to strong. This hey arnold fic is being picked apart for the story rather then the grammer and spellong which as a rough draft is sub par. So i made an announcment for people to dial it back or stop as its fanfic and there for not actually canon. And this person reaponded with the best comment 😍

Cara's stony, resolute face made it difficult for Gino to glean how the night would transpire. As he drove to his parents' house, he wondered if Cara would continue to fawn or if she finally switched to fight mode. Fawn would get them out unscathed. Fight… Well, Gino didn't think the bridge between her and Nonna could survive such a thing. The timber’s hide would be left battered and fragile, its feet unsteady at the behest of turbulent waves—uncrossable, useless. Nonna often rid herself of useless things.

The flood eased off his chest when they arrived at the house and Cara put on her smile. Cara greeted his parents with a hug and a kiss—something which had once made her recoil now a practiced choreography. -🖤- Tags: ngl I don't know a lot of people, but I know @sebastian-and-ominis-share-me sometimes has saucy things, which is fun. Late entries for #shortakiweek on my AO3

The weeks following the excursion to San Lorenzo — also called by the sixth graders of PS 118 ‘The Summer Arnold Almost Got Us Killed But He Did Find His Parents So I Guess It’s Okay’ — were so mundane that it was almost funny.

With summer camps and visits to Aspen or even a visit to grandparents out of town, most of the exhausted, jungle-bug-bitten tweens were distracted between the time the plane landed in the United States again and the first week of school.

Sitting on the wooden bridge in the park, legs dangling over the creek and holding a little pink book in her lap, Helga sat under the summer sun and tapped a purple pen against her pursed lips.
