ohh the relationship that dreams mom has with dteam is just so special and precious. for dream, yes obviously thats his mother! she raised him! she would drive through a hurricane to keep him safe, she drove him back when he had to get his wisdom teeth out and gave him her own pillows to use in the car. but then theres also the fact that sapnap wanted to get her a present for mothers day. she sent him pictures of his cats when he wasnt home, hes her sons childhood best friend who moved in on a days notice to protect him when he was getting swatted every day. george visited dreams family for christmas, he has her number, he trusted her son so much that he was willing to take a chance on him out of college and trust dream with his career. and now shes in her sons home that he built for his best friends because they needed the support right now. she sorts through some of the things fans send to their po box like augh their relationship is just so sweet and genuine.

I feel like people aren't getting it. In. The. Books. Perseus. Jackson. Is. An. Unreliable. Narrator. This goes for everything he thinks. Percy loves his mother, so he writes her praises. In the show we get to see what Sally does from an outside POV not filtered through a child that idolizes his mother. It's not ooc for Sally to act like she does in the show. she's a single mother raising a neurodivergent, Demigod, and she's scared that when the Gods get to him they'll corrupt him. She's not suddenly a girl boss we're getting to see her for how she is.

The Receptionist

A tough old lady with a long history working for both Redmond and Blutarch Mann. There are those who believe a good portion of the Gravel Wars was fought over her. She has been at work there on and off since her early twenties, giving her a stone cold approach to violence of any form. She is not averse to it, having recieved military training and keeping a trusty SMG under her desk in case of any would-be assassins. That being said, she is as professional as they come. A china set of delicious tea and coffee is at the ready at any time, and only the best bossa nova music playing in the waiting room. Waiting to get shouted at by your boss has never felt so good!

I had a lot of fun drawing her up! She took many iterations to get right, and having never drawn anything as big as this before (I've never designed a gun in my life!), I am so happy with how she came out. Hope you all like her too!
