Only thing really stopping folks from that god-tier comedy is the canon that the Wilderness Trio's time together at that school is all illusory (like, literally all made up in their minds by Hera's clownery) and Leo thinking his pyrokinesis is a curse due to him believing it contributed to his mother's death. But honestly, I've seen fanfic twist crazier parts of canon to make it work, so you could just write the second bit off as Hera meddling w memories. Canon divergence for all. - Heckhead

My guess the reason no one revisits the Wilderness Trio is because (people think) Jason is too "bland" and Jason x Piper also being mid next to the gold-standard pairing that is Percy x Annabeth. Personally, I think they're sleeping on absolute gold; Jason Grace fulfills a very important niche in the CHB ecosystem, and The BAD Thing That Happens to Him in the Third Series is a war crime. - Heckhead

i mean tbh the fact that it was all fake in canon should be EVEN MORE REASON to fuck with it. like this sandbox is wide open START BUILDING. and i mean yea the thing w leo's mom is a reason for him to be iffy about fire powers but like. suspension of disbelief i feel like the audience could be convinced that if both jason and piper are admitting to some weird powers that, as far as they know, literally no one else in the world has, leo might admit to his and just not mention the whole mom fire thing. that can come up later down the line and be angsty and shit lol

people only think jason's bland bc he's not Marvel Quippy like we all got spoiled by percy jackson's inner monologue for five books and then jason comes in and is his own character (quelle surprise) and people missed percy's wit n humor. but like shit there's a lot of interesting places to go with him maybe because he's a little bit blank-slate straight man protagonist, compared to percy (i haven't reread past the lost hero so idr if the blankness kinda goes away once he regains his memory). besides iirc in the series i did not read, piper dates a girl, sooo explorations of comphet and/or her sexuality without MIST MEDDLING would be another direction to take this. like fuck, y'all, the niche is open and the sandbox is empty.

Act 1 thoughts while I watch:

Yay Kimberly Akimbo for wining best scocre!

Leopoldstadt beat out Life of Pi for best costume!?!!! What?!?!! With those puppets in Life of Pi how did they lose?! Jeez

Some Like it Hot beat Camelot, &Juliet and KPOP for best costumes!? Really?!

My feed keeps skipping and it's annoying.

It's so weird to watch an awards show with no skits or stupid monologues or gimmicks. I kinda like that it's just handing out the awards and some clips? Still weird.

New York New York winning best set design! Awesome!!

Okay Life of Pi may have lost out on costumes but at least it won set design! Yeah!!

Lin Manuel Miranda!!! Hello sir!! Handing the Lifetime Achievement Award to John Kander. Interesting choice to do this award in the pre show though. I would have thought this deserves to be in the big event.

Some Like It Hot wins best choreography. As I haven't seen this show and have no idea what the choreography is like I have no opinion really. I was kinda hoping to see Sweeney or KPOP win best choreography thought. Bummer.

Corpse Husband x Reader (Female)

Warnings: Swearing, Minor Spoilers for RE8: Village

Genre: FLUFF, Humor, RPF (Real Person Fic)

Summary: It’s all fun and games while Corpse is simping over Lady Dimitrescu, seeing as how Y/N herself isn’t immune to that woman’s charms. However, things get ‘serious’ when Corpse has to deal with his girlfriend making heart eyes at the hammer wielding final lord - Heisenberg.

“Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t Heisenberg remind you of Lucas from the seventh game? I don’t know, all this speakers communication is giving me flashbacks I’m not too fond of. That guy traumatized me.“ Y/N shudders in her seat from where she’s observing Corpse’s gameplay while keeping tabs on the speeding chat, answering as many of the comments as she can.

“No idea. Never played the game.“ Corpse wheezes out, feeling the pressure’s on and working up a little bit of a sweat seeing as how this is the last lord he’ll have to battle before probably having to square up with Mother Miranda. The fact he’s running low on ammo has been stressing him out but luckily he has Y/N there to comfort him every time. She doesn’t even need to use words to do so or even ask him what’s wrong - just placing her hand on his knee allows him to feel relaxed and as though everything will be alright even though it probably won’t be if he doesn’t collect some money, ammo or supplies for making ammo soon.

“Wooow, fake fan, huh?“ Y/N pokes his side teasingly, “No, nevermind, I know exactly why you chose to play this, skipping all the previous ones in the process.“ She prods on, continuing to mess with Corpse who gives her a side-smile after having held on a still face for such a long time, features frozen in his focused and on-edge state.

He rolls his eyes, deciding to play her game, “Oh yeah? Why do you think that is?”

She scoffs, “Maybe cause thee other games don’t have 9ft tall vampire ladies? I don’t know, I’m just shooting in the dark here.” She delivers another poke to his side, giggling devilishly as she does so.

Corpse quickly takes hold of her hand, murmuring: “Maybe...” under his breath before bringing it to his lips and giving her knuckles a kiss.

Y/N wiggles her hand free from his grasp, mock-offended by his words, “Knew it! I freaking- Whoa, hello there, sir.” She cuts herself off as the game enters into a scripted cutscene, showing off the final lord in all his glory. “Who is you?”

“Y/N, Heisenberg. Heisenberg, Y/N.” Corpse laughs, “I forgot you missed the episode where he was first introduced.”

“Damn do I regret that now.“ She whispers, eyes glued to the game instead of the screen of her laptop where she’s been fetching comments flying by. No one can blame the girl, she’s got a justified reason to be distracted. “Wish we met sooner, Mr. Heisenberg.“

Corpse finds his jaw on the floor in an instant as his head snaps to face his girlfriend, “Excuse me, what’s that supposed to mean?!”

Y/N frowns, narrowing her eyes at her boyfriend as she finally brings herself to tear her eyes off the screen where now the game has been paused. “What? You now get to complain? After I didn’t say shit about you drooling all over Lady Dimitrescu? It’s only fair I get my own simp-worthy subject, don’t you think?”

Corpse rolls his eyes, “This deal doesn’t seem like it’ll benefit you much - I get a hot, classy and rich vampire lady and you get...” he motions at the screen, his face twisting in a displeased expression, “...him.”

“Oh trust me, I’ll be perfectly benefited, don’t ya worry.“ She shoots him a wink, cackling quietly yet evilly at the shock-disappointment het comment is met with on her boyfriend’s part. “What?“ She asks though laughter, “He’s hella hot!“

“Ok, that’s it.“ Corpse gets up, pushing the desk chair Y/N’s sitting in forward, rolling it on its wheels towards the door, “You’ll be in exile until this chapter’s done with. I can’t have you simping all over the place, it’s bad for business. I mean, if you fall for guys who look like him, God knows what people will think I look like.“

“Well, you do need a shower but...“ Y/N comments through a fit of giggles, kicking her legs as to get up and off the chair but by the time she’s able to react, he’s already rolled her out in the hallway and shut the door of the recording room behind himself as though she can’t just open it and walk back in. Which is exactly what she does, much to his dismay - but she only pokes her head inside, “You’re right, it’s bad for your image, so I’ll clarify.“ She clears her throat, raising her voice as for it to be picked up by Corpse’s mic from across the room, “The two men in question don’t look at all alike, folks! Heisenberg is way hotter than Corpse!“

“OUT!“ Corpse shouts, sounding as threatening as he can while laughing his ass off alongside Y/N who has followed his ‘order‘ and stepped out in the hallway where her laughter can still be heard. “Guess the longer I don’t shower, the hotter I’ll appear to Y/N. Remind me to buy myself a cape as well. Wonder how much factories cost around the West Coast...“

“COPYCAT!“ Comes Y/N’s shout from outside the door, causing Corpse to break out in another fit of laughter.

Never did Corpse think he’d be trying to cop the ranks of a video game villain but here he is, actually googling the price of cape coats and he’s never felt more bemused with himself - ok, that may or may not be a lie considering he’s really digging the coats he finds for sale online.

Yes that was so uncalled for, the way she thought it was okay to go hound Y/N she has some nerve.

Joon has that aura right I think his one simple question can get someone literally trapped in their own lies. He is looking at this situation as a one single mistake. That's why he still says rethink the situation.

What happened with Yoongi and Ha-eun will be revealed further because this is where this bitch starts laying her trap. So it will be revealed later.

Also, Taes silence has bothered many people, he is going to be in a different headspace and more than his words his actions are going to be speaking louder. It's just a bit away.

So a little spoiler here, Hobi throwing a tantrum was a big deal because Hobi was the last to join the wagon to pursue Ha-eun. He is also the easiest right now to get off the wagon too, Emi is concerned because Hobi might be a loose end.

The question that why did Y/N let go of them so easily without a fight will be revealed later too, because this question is going to drive a member nuts and Y/N herself will answer the question why she let them go. Why she literally handed every thing to Ha-eun over a silver platter.

Let’s start a chain of sweetness.

5 THINGS YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER.

ONE: He is one snarky guy. Being such a reserved and quiet person irl, I don’t often get to snark or be witty in conversations so it’s really nice to do that with Reno.

TWO: As I’ve mentioned in the past, Reno is a three-dimensional character - he acts like a bad guy but has a conscience hiding deep down that he only shows to Rude. He has feelings and emotions he’s stuffed down as deep as he can and it’s interesting to think what could happen if they just bubbled to the surface.

THREE: Reno is a trained combatant. I’ve gotten into writing combat as of recent and getting to write it with him feels like a blessing. I never got to write combat at all with Noctis, not even in fanfics so writing and choreographing fight scenes feels great. It’ll get put to use one day.

FOUR: The amount of stuff he just has tucked away everywhere - and that’s just on his person. He has things folded up neatly and tucked in pretty much all his pockets. “Why does he not have huge bumps sticking out?” I hear you ask. Tetris logic.

FIVE: For all the violence that’s involved with his job, Reno is a secret sweet bean. He hates showing it but he craves even the tiniest sliver of affection and dislikes being alone unless he really, really needs to be alone. Idk can you tell I’ve been grasping at straws from point 2 onwards?

ONE: Always at the top of my lists is @rude-at-your-service. He’s my bro and I always love seeing him on my dash. He was the 8th person I followed when I made this blog back in 2015 and I’m super duper glad we’ve reconnected (and he helped keep me sane for part of my train journeys last month). And just for you good sir; jag skulle behöva lite vatten. (Say the thing, I dare you)

TWO: Next up we have Lyri for whomst I shall tag @hautevaux. Lyri is a gem. Lyri is bae. Vaux is bae. I was really shy to approach at first because her writing is just 😲😲 it’s so good and we’ve really clicked since we first started talking and I love it. Also, I promise I’m not ignoring you when you compliment me, my brain just blue screens and doesn’t know what to do.

THREE: @that-turk-laney come back to us, Mia! We miss you! But seriously, I think Mia was one of the first people I followed when I returned back in February and she’s really helped me build Reno up. We really need to get that soft thread going, we really do. Movie night for Reno and Elena, yes please.

FOUR: JAEJAE. I love the good JaeJae over at @cssnei. He got me really into some stuff coughUpUpDownDowncoughDevilMayDrycough and I wouldn’t trade that for the world. Every Wednesday we sit and wait for DaParty to start streaming then type in capitals at each other on Discord while laughing our asses off. I enjoy the fun we have and I hope that doesn’t change when we finally run into each other.

FIVE: Finally, I’ve decided to finish off with @shinrasfirst whom I used to admire from afar. Min is super cool and I spent actual weeks trying to get myself to check them out and follow them because we have a few mutuals and I was like “Hnnnnnn, I’m sure we’d get along but hhhhhhhhh”. Then they followed me first and I was like “!!!! wtf????” so yeah, now we occasionally talk about Kpop and I can’t remember what else we’ve talked about but we’ve talked about other things. (I have Discord if you want it)

My mum’s favourite decade has always been the 80′s so I grew up listening to a lot of D.uran D.uran - I still have memories of us in her green car with the cassette player and I’d beg for us to listen to the D.uran D.uran tape (which is merely 10 years older than me!). My favourites have always been Rio, Hungry Like The Wolf, and Save A Prayer. SAP is absolutely my first emo song. (And interestingly enough, I don’t think Reno would listen to DD songs)

TWO: Infinity by Guru Josh. This. Damn. Song. Why is it so bloody difficult to find the specific version I grew up with?? But yeah, the saxophone has stuck with me all these years - and I’m still proud of myself for identifying the first instrument heard as a saxophone. I feel like this song says something about me...

THREE: Courtesy of JaeJae, I am super into DMC. Nero’s theme in 5 is probably my favourite thing in existence and I’m probably going to listen to it on Thursday. Sticking with video game music, let’s add some more here shall we? This remix of Supporting Me used in S.onic F.orces just gets me in the right spot. That goddamn guitar is just *chefs kiss*. Also the theme for Green Hills in the Sonic movie makes me want to sob because I grew up with Sonic the Hedgehog in my life and the movie being really good despite some pacing and editing issues-- I just-- someone come cry with me 😭 THOSE CHORDS (also chucking in Un-gravitify from Riders: Zero Gravity because that series is underrated as hell and I can’t believe Free Riders killed it. Revive Riders, you cowards. Give me my extreme gear back) - I feel like Reno would definitely listen to a lot of video game music (especially from Sonic and DMC)

FOUR: It’s Brit time again: Mr Brightside by The Killers- ahem, sorry, the anthem for the UK. Cheesy Brit songs? Yes, please. 5, 6, 7, 8 by Steps was my childhood - I still know the steps to it ;¬¬, I’m Too Sexy by Right Said Fred is an absolute must and you know Reno listens to this even if it’s not particularly to his taste - it just fascinates him, THIS SONG - I love it so much and I’ve convinced myself I can mimic it almost perfectly, my mum probably sensed something was up years ago considering my obsession with Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go. Bands like Busted and McFly with songs like Glad I Crashed The Wedding and Obviously, as well as VengaBoys with We Like To Party are joint guilty pleasures.

FIVE: To flip to a whole other spectrum, both Reno and I are fond of rock and metal and you will likely find one of us mouthing along and bopping our heads to songs like Hero by Skillet, Bodies by Drowning Pool (I have to resist the urge to scream along every time), It Has Begun by STARSET, and Another Way Out by Hollywood Undead. It only just clicked with me in recent months that I did in fact have an emo phase (if a little low-key) and it was devoid of P!atD and MCR which is a crime. But songs like this are absolutely guilty pleasures for both myself and Reno.

BTS Reaction #4- Love At First Sight

HOSEOK- “I’ll be out in a second!” You called out to the front of the shop as you heard the bell ring that told you a new costumer just entered.

You eyed the pot in front of you and nodded to yourself. It looked like enough soil, so you smiled and took off your gardening gloves. You headed to the front counter, where a smaller yet older lady stood by, eyeing the place with a secretive grin on her face.

“How may I help you ma’am?” You asked politely. She smiled at you and gestured to all the flowers by the huge bay window.

“Do you offer flower delivery?” She asked.

“Of course. Most of our flowers are delivered with a note though. Do you have one with you?” You told her.

“Well, my son’s birthday is next week and I have the card. I just don’t know what kind of flowers I should send with it.” She hummed thoughtfully as she gazed around the shop.

“Roses seem to be a costumer favorite, however poppies are in season and we have a few out back.” You answered blandly. Your boss was always telling you to push the roses and poppies, since they were the most expensive. Personally, you thought they were over-rated.

“Hmm...what do you think?”

“If you don’t mind me suggesting, I would think our white and yellow daisy bouquet would be nice. White is for purity and innocent love, while the yellow stands for luck and good health.” You advised her carefully while eyeing the flowers.

She seemed to think about this for a bit, before nodding and handing you a birthday card.

“So how much will that be?”

.....

It has been four days since the lady came in for the bouquet of flowers for her son. Today was the day that the flowers would be delivered and you quietly made sure the arrangement was in order, cutting off any last minute thorns.

“Hey, (y/n)!” You boss yelled out from his office. You stalked forward ended up at his doorway.

“Yes Sir?”

“The delivery man just broke his ankle. I’m going to need you to due all the deliveries today.” You let out a deep sigh as you noticed the weather outside get gloomier and gloomier.

“Okay sir.”

....

You ended up in front of a factory like place. The address you got lead you here and you wondered if this son worked as a factory worker. You hurriedly skipped to the entrance as you felt rain began to trickle down from the sky.

The factory was empty and instead filled with many people running around with lights, cameras, makeup and outfits. Suddenly, a lady holding seven cups of coffee bumped into you.

“Um, excuse me, where can I find a Hoseok?” You asked.

“He should be done with his photo shoot right about now.” She gestured over to a corner of the factory that held a table with food. Photo shoot? You followed her direction and saw a tall man standing by it, stuffing a rice cake into his mouth. You guesses this was Hoseok, as there was no one else there.

“Umm...Happy Birthday?”

He turned around and looked at you with wide and glossy eyes. In shock of you, his jaw dropped as a rice cake fell from his mouth.

Years later, Hoseok would swear to god he thought an angel was delivering him flowers that day.

JIMIN- You huffed loudly, annoyed. You weren’t sure why you signed up for this. Sure you loved makeup and trained hard to get where you have gotten. However, you were more into special effects or maybe even some avant-garde makeup for model art. Never before would you have thought that you would be doing some arragont kpop idol’s makeup. Plus the job wasn’t challenging at all, pop on some eyeliner, smokey eye, TONS of BB cream, highlighter and sometimes blush. Nothing too crazy. However bills needed to be paid and you were told a makeup artist working for a certain popular kpop group all of a sudden got really sick, so they put you to work immediately. You showed up to the backstage of some music show, where a stylist informed you of the concept and implied certain aspects that should be brought out on your idol’s face. You were taken to your vanity and was left with the promise of a man named ‘Jimin’ arriving shortly.

You quietly sorted out your own makeup along with some of the supplies that was previously laid out for your use. Silently, you prayed that this Jimin guy wasn’t rude or a high class diva. Yet, as usual your logical side took over and you began to ponder.

This group is supposedly VERY popular, you’re at a very famous music show and from the looks of it; this backstage dressing room that this group got was very nice and filled with attentive staff members all rushing to do something.

You sighed.

This guy was probably one of the most well-known idols in Korea. And fame is very hard not to get to your head. You mentally prepared yourself for a Diva...or divo, rather.

Suddenly, you felt movement beside you and you realised someone had sat in the seat. You slapped a brave face on and took out the primer and a foundation brush, you were still looked down and you wanted a quick peek of who this guy was sat down and ready for your appliance, while reaching over for a blender your eyes gazed up so you can see this mans face through the mirror.

He was already looking at you through the mirror’s reflection. Staring rather...

His puffy eyelids and under-eyes practically smothered his own eyeballs, however you could tell that he was -without a doubt- staring at you. You realised he may not be informed of why you (someone he’s never seen before) are now doing his makeup so you smiled, bowed and introduced yourself before continuing.

“Hello, I’m (y/n) and I’ll be doing your makeup until your artist gets back. Please take care of me.”

His seemingly stunned face was now curled up in a cute, childish grin. You watched very amazed as his shoulers shrugged up to look smaller, his eyes completely dissapear behind the aeygo bags and and a gummy smile took over, revealing some pearly whites that a colgate commercial would be glad to have. You kinda wanted to squeal but got ahold of yourself since you had to be proffesional.

“So your my new makeup artist?” Suprisingly a thick and raspy voice came out of his pouty lips that held a strong busan accent. You shook your head and reminded him that you said you were just here until the other one got back. To which his smile dropped to a cute pout and his whole face scrunched up in what you can only describe as determination. While you began your first steps of his face, you would’ve sworn you heard him mumble; “We’ll see about that.”

At the end of the day, a representative from Bighit called and offered you a permanent position as Jimin’s makeup artist. You attempted to decline, but they seemed oddly persistent that you take the offer...

TAEHYUNG-You were a huge fan of BTS. And like most Army, you found yourself growing a soft spot for one particular member. Yours’ was Taehyung. You just saw alot of yourself in him. Both of you are really weird and quirky but funny and caring people notheless. Sometimes misunderstood but more intillegent than what people gave you credit for. You loved the alien boy because you were an alien yourself.

You were so over-flowing with love that you decided to make a fan-account/blog for him. You gained hundreds of followers because they loved how funny and unique you are, you also were really friendly and decided to chat with other fans openly on there. You excitedly annouced that you were going to a bts fanmeet in your city, to which your followers all liked and commented how jealous they were and how lucky you were. Some demanded you take pictures and video, which obviously you were gonna.

You got an ask notification the night before the event. It read, ‘OMG (y/n) I’m so happy you get to see them in person. I hope that taehyung recongizes you. Lol, wouldn’t it be funny if he jumped up after you tell him that your followers also call you alien and yell “THERE YOU ARE, MY LONG-LOST ALIEN SOULMATE! Which planet are you from?!” Anyway good luck tommorow~’

You laughed while reading this and typed back a sassy but odd reply before going to bed.

The next day you arrived at the fan meeting and although you were extremely nervous, a weird sense of calm hit you when you were about to go up to the table. You said hello to the first members, letting them know how wonderful they are and how much their music meant to you when suddenly you were face to face with your bias.

“Hey Tae oppa. You’re my favorite member and idea type and I just want you to know that I understand your antics very well given I’m labeled as weird too by some people.”

He looked up from signing your abulm but stopped in his tracts when he made eye contact.

“What’s your name?” He said, oddly still and not at all like the goof ball persona he had on when meeting other fans. You got scared for a second. Had you offended him or something?

“Y/n” you had said. He nodded in thought for a moment before continuing his signature and asking you some weird questions. Like how many kids you wanted or would you rather stay in or go out for a date. Before long you were shooed onto the next member, not before receiving a long and thoughtful stare from your bias.

At the end of day you were still thinking about the strange encounter you had with the man. You wondered if there was something about you that caused him to act more reserved or if he was just having a bad day? You thought about posting your experience to your followers to gain some insight but then thought against it. After all, idols are human too and the last thing you would want is to stir him up into a controversy.

You received a private message from your blog and when you went to open it, you were left confused.

‘I’m from Saturn. How about you? Love the blog btw, you weren’t kidding when you said you were odd too’

What followed after that was a selfie of Taehyung that you knew for sure was not recycled from the internet. Meaning he had to have taken that as he was speaking to you. He was even wearing the same outfit he had on during the fan signing.

He found your blog and was set on making your ‘alien couple’ fantasy into a reality.

JUNGKOOK- Being a college student was really hard. Constant stress and lack of funds caused you to suffer some mild anxiety. Like right now for example. You were currently looking at the list of books you’d need for the upcoming semester when your heart stopped beating from sheer shock. How in the devil’s butthole were you gonna find a way to pay for this?

“You know, I know a local bookstore that has a lot of university books for like a third of the price if your interested. You won’t have to pay like hundreds of dollars.” Your friend told you, trying to calm you down from the sheer panic attack that was about to hit you. She wrote down the address and told you to find it. With that, you bounced to find yourself some cheap books that won’t cost as much as a couple months’ worth of rent.

You found the shop and found the things you were needing. All except one. You just had one more book to buy but unluckily for you, it was super hard to find. You skimmed the shelves of this cute little shop, humming to the music they were playing in the background.

And then there it was.

The book you were in desperate need for in order to understand your class and pass.

But....it was in the hands of another.

A very good looking guy whom wore a white shirt, beanie and some timbs. You recognized him, given that many students at your school were fans of him and his group. But in this moment did you care at all that he was famous???

No.

If anything it made you more vengeful.

You were barely able to pay for food, and an idol who has everything at his finger tips was gonna steal a deal from you? Yeah, you were gonna let that happen.

“Yah! I need that book! You see unlike you, I am a broke student who REALLy needs that discounted book for a class! As an idol, I’m sure you could afford to buy it at full price!” You screeched in his face.

He looked up and was about to retort when he went silent and his big doe eyes got a glossy look. You continued to rant, somewhat blowing off steam on this innocent guy but little did you know, he wasn’t hearing a word. Lost in space (more like your face), all he could hear was the distant sound of wedding bells and angels singing. It was hard to see who was more insane in this scenario, the person who freaked out at a stranger for grabbing the book you wanted due to panicked stress and possibly the beginnings of a mental breakdown. Or the guy who sat there, let himself get berated bc he was too focused on planning his future wedding with this seemingly crazy person.

(Later he did buy you the book, after you swore to go to dinner with him.)
