Thanks to @envy_fgc requesting the ponytail he's now more powerful than ever!
Been way too busy as of late to finish or even start proper projects. Tonight I did however finally take on the silly that was promised and I hope you respect Sol Catguy's approach as much as I had to!
It is crystal clear that “immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints; and there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting” for Christians (Ephesians 5:3-4).
It’s not about being “perfect,” rather it’s about being holy (1 Peter 1:16).
Christians are not called to live like the world; we must be set apart and have a renewed mind, and we’ll know we’ve truly been set apart if we do “which is good and acceptable and perfect” to prove we know the will of God (Romans 12:2).
How can a Christian do what is contrary to Scripture? Will you commit sins as a Christian? Yes, you will sin as a Christian (1 John 1:8), however, you will not sin willingly (Hebrews 10:26). The sins without a heart set out for them are still sins (Leviticus 5:17). Whichever the case, you must respond the same way: rather than hide, confess your sins (Psalm 32:5). Ignorance is not bliss (Leviticus 5:18-19).
If you are a parent, this is particularly important to you. As J.C. Ryle wrote, “Father and mothers, do not forget that children learn more by the eye than they do by the ear. The best of schoolmasters will not imprint on their minds as much as they will pick up at your fireside. Imitation is a far stronger principle with children than memory. What they see has a much stronger effect on their minds than what they are told.”
Don’t settle for mediocrity—aim higher (Colossians 3:2).
You should always watch your mouth around your elders.
They will climb inside and clean your teeth, but then they won't get out when you ask them and if you close your mouth they will get mad and stab the roof of your mouth with their pointy nails, which while are great for thoroughly cleaning teeth, also hurt very much.
