ok ok rockstar!ellie x actress!reader ,, ellie being like obsessed with reader and her films / shows and says smth about u during an interview. reader seeing it and talking about it in another interview. even better if readers a bit older than ellie and ellie had a poster of reader in her room when she was younger sjshsg
the blades
rockstar!ellie x actress!reader
Tumblr media
part one (two pending)
summary: ellie’s band did a song for your upcoming movie and you both mention each other in interviews.
warnings: reader is like 5-6 years older than ellie but they’re both in their twenties
author’s note: i love this concept so much i want to write more rockstar!ellie x actress!reader in future!! tysm for the request, i hope you like it 🖤 wc: 800
“so let’s talk about your latest single, caves, which is for the new movie end of beginning, right?”
“right,” ellie nodded at the interviewer, twisting the rings on her fingers which rested in her lap. she was usually pretty nervous doing interviews, still only feeling truly comfortable in front of a crowd when she had her guitar hanging from her shoulders.
“it’s an incredible song and goes so well in the movie, i mean…” the interviewer’s voice trailed off as they turned to the audience who were whooping and cheering at the compliments. “well they certainly agree!”
“thank you, we’ve had so much fun getting to be a part of it,” dina beamed her award-winning smile.
“so were you able to meet the stars? what did they think?”
“we did briefly which was amazing,” dina carried on, “and i think they loved it!?” she turned to jesse.
“yeah they thought it was great which for us, you know, was crazy as they’re super talented people so that recognition was uh, was amazing. ellie especially loved it,” jesse said, sneaking in a jab at his band mate and best friend.
“really ellie?” the interview seemed keen to know more.
ellie stretched her arm up, nervously scratching the back of her head and tried to fight a smile off her lips. “yeah, i mean i…oh man, thanks jesse.”
“anytime.”
“i’m a huge fan so it was a trip getting to meet them,” she finally settled on.
“meeting y/n?” the interviewer pushed.
“yeah, meeting y/n was great.”
“why do i feel like there’s more you’re not telling me?” the interviewer joked.
“well,” she awkwardly laughed, “no, i mean she’s an insanely talented actress and i’ve loved her movies for years so it’s always pretty crazy meeting someone like that.”
“that, and the posters,” dina leaned into ellie’s shoulder. ellie tried to refrain from swearing on tv.
“posters?”
“yeah,” she admitted, “i had a poster of her on my wall when i was like 16.”
“was she a bit of a celebrity crush for you?”
“something like that, yeah.” ellie’s cheeks had gone bright red and they felt hot under the bright stage lights and mini interrogation she was experiencing.
“oh it’s all coming out now,” jesse laughed and dina laughed with him. ellie chuckled, embarrassed, whilst shooting them a glare.
she ran her hands down her face. “oh, i can’t believe you just made me admit that on tv.”
“she’s probably going to see this,” the interviewer said, “and she’s on here next week.”
“oh god, don’t even mention it.”
— a week later —
“so, y/n! thanks for being on the show.”
“thank you for having me!” you shot your best smile at the interviewer and the crowd, who cheered.
“you’re new movie end of beginning is out now, is that right?”
“yes it’s out now and we had the premier last week which was an incredible night!”
“it looked amazing, as did you, so stunning!”
“thank you so much.”
the interviewer went on asking you more questions about your role in the movie before bringing up ellie’s band, the blades.
“you might have already seen but last week we had the blades on our show and they said it was amazing to work with you.”
“yes! i loved the music they made for this movie, they’re all beyond talented. it was great to meet them as well, super lovely guys,” you praised.
“were you a fan before?”
“yes i am actually, i saw them live on their tour last year so yeah, i’ve been a fan for a while.”
your cheeks felt hot all of a sudden as you had a feeling where this was going.
“well, i think they were definitely fans of yours, or at least one of them was!” the interviewer prodded, smiling. you laughed shyly, not wanting to be the one to admit to anything in front of a live audience.
“ellie said you were her celebrity crush.”
“i heard, yeah,” you smiled down into your lap, trying to compose yourself.
“i think you’d made a cute couple,” the interviewer beamed and the crowd cheered. “they think so!”
“i um,” you stammered, “yeah she’s cute.”
you thought she was more than just cute! you had been a fan of her band for a couple of years and had swooned over the way her skilled fingers plucked her guitar strings over and over again. the outfits she wore. the way she sits with her knees apart and hands clasped together in interviews. the smiles and smirks she has whilst on stage. the tiktok edits you had saved.
“well make sure to invite me to the wedding,” the interviewer laughed. you shyly nodded, trying to stifle the wide grin that wanted to take over your face. you almost hoped ellie wouldn’t see this but there was no doubt that she would… she did, and she had a shit-eating grin on her face the entire time.

Dating Seokjin
I really hope you guys enjoy this one! I spent the better part of the day writing it and Jin has a special place in my heart as one of my first biases so yeah. Y’all know the vibes, reblog, like, comment and come yell at me if you enjoy it they’re really appreciated and encourage me to keep writing♡
Tumblr media
김 석진 Kim Seokjin
-you and Jin met while you were working at a bakery in myeongdeong. It wasn’t your dream job but it payed the bills, especially during rush hour. Extra people meant extra tips, and working the morning rush didn’t seem so bad when the line was packed full of people with Chanel bags and Rolexes, you’re even sure you saw a Mercedes parked out front…
-So you were no stranger to slapping a smile on your face and putting on the charm for some extra won in your tip jar—you even decorated it seasonly—dedicated to the craft, born to the breed…this was not your first rodeo working customer service and from the looks of rent and textbooks it wouldn’t be your last
-When a handsome man walks in you weren’t even phased. You looked him straight in the eyes and asked him for his order. Then asked if he was okay because the pause in between was getting a bit awkward and there were more customers.
“You don’t know who I am”he mumbled, seemingly shocked. You just held back an eye roll strong enough to cause an earthquake and smiled again. Rich people.
“No, am I supposed to?”
-this caused the most heinous laughter you have ever heard and he recovered enough to say he wanted an iced americano and whatever you thought was best. Trying not to side eye him for wasting your time and causing the other customers to get antsy, you recommended him a slice of vanilla cheesecake and he laughed again, questioning if it was too early for cake. You couldn’t help yourself but to laugh too because his was quite something and you just winked at him and promised not to tell.
-you were understaffed that day—as usual, so you also got his order ready. You sent him on his way with a bow and a cake pop snuck in there cause no one really made you laugh on the job. And he left you with a hefty tip that felt like robbery.
-you thought that was the last you’d see of him. Until you started seeing him everywhere. Billboards,tv shows, magazines, posters—hell the bakery even had a poster of his band up in the coming month. You were sure it was him, those lips didn’t just belong to anyone.
-you found yourself looking for him during the morning rush but to no avail, he wasn’t there. He was everywhere else around you though and it drove you crazy. Your squeaky laughed paramour seemed to be gone with the wind.
-until your shift got changed sometime near December. With finals upcoming you needed the mornings to sleep and study, so now you worked closing.
-your first day on closing was similar to any other closing shift. Busy from 4-6pm and then dead the rest of the night. It was peaceful in a way, less tips but between customers you got to relax.
-Until he came in. He was wearing a mask and a hat and bundled up in about a million coats but it was him, you knew it. You had learned his name was Seokjin from your research(stalking) and maybe you were having hallucinations from your third espresso but there he was, staring at you with those beautiful eyes. Then he said the unexpected.
“Ya!”he exclaimed, ripping off his scarf. “Where have you been?! I’ve been coming here every night for the past three months! Do you not work the night shift?! Has nobody told you??”
You furrowed your brows, that’s not what you were expecting. “You could have come during the day time!”you argued. “If you knew I wasn’t here at night, why didn’t you come during the day?!”
“Because I can’t come during the day!”he argued back. By this point his jacket had been hung over a chair and his mask was pulled down on his chin. Damn. It was hard to argue with a man with those lips…
“…and I’ve been sneaking around like a creep looking for you—are you even listening??”
You blinked once. Then twice. Then found yourself laughing again like you had all those months ago. Who new a meetcute in July could make an argument in December
feel like a first date.
“You said you’ve been looking for me?”you said, looking at him with mirth in your eyes. He nods, his own eyes still wide from his ranting and his cheeks pink from adjusting to the warmth.
“I..yes, I just-I just couldn’t get you out of my head”he explained, “I’m at a point in my life where it feels like everyone thinks they know me. It was just refreshing to meet somebody without them having a million and one ideas of who they think I am”
You nod. “Well, I know your name now because who doesn’t, but you’re right, I don’t know you”
“Would you like to?”he asked.
“I would.”
And it was history from there. A slightly bumpy history.
-“do I get a kiss if I say today is my birthday?”
“You can get a slap”
-You two did in fact meet again on his birthday and after making sure(asking to see his ID) you celebrated with a slice of vanilla cheesecake and a candle that was half broken you found somewhere in the break room.
-this all happened in 2016. As the group grew and their popularity, your relationship definitely needed to adjust accordingly. Bang PD was less than thrilled by Jin getting himself into a relationship but one thing we know about Jin is that he’s stubborn🤡 so there was no way he was losing that fight
-you had to adjust to seeing him less earlier on when they were still making a name for themselves. But that didn’t stop you from packing up the pastries at the end of the and hauling them off to the boys at the dance studio. With a little scolding from Hobi that they were going to get cramps eating all these sweets, they were all very grateful.
-But Jin being the man he is made sure to stop in while you were working too. Mainly at night but on the random chance they got a break he’d come in the mornings and hang out in the kitchen, where you had been promoted to part time baker. Usually he brought you breakfast and coffee which you always scolded him for because you worked in a literal bakery but he’d just scold
you back claiming he hasn’t seen you eat a vegetable in weeks. And no it didn’t count if it was in a croissant.
-may or may not have told everyone he knows about the bakery and it may or may not have turned into an idol hotspot.
-don’t be too mad at him he just wants to support his girl😭
-outside of work for both of you guys Jin is pretty…quiet. You hadn’t expected it when you first started dating but that’s just because his guard was still up. Now that you’re happily settled into your relationship he doesn’t feel the need to be on around you. He doesn’t have to make you laugh,be world wide handsome or loud. He could be quiet and soft and wear cute pajama sets while playing his maplestory.
-sometimes he was so quiet in the house you forgot he was there. The world wouldn’t believe it if you paid them a thousand dollars but this knowledge was nice. Something that the world didn’t need to know, that you could keep for yourself.
For yourself and six other boys.
-they did have Jin first and honestly the first time you met them you always shit your pants. God they could be intimidating when they’re sussing someone out, especially Jimin. The hyung line liked you just fine but it did take a while to gain the Maknae’s trust. They’ve never seen Jin date or even think about dating so they were skeptical. Jin was the oldest and therefore a pseudo parent for the rest of the members, so you coming into the picture was different.
-but you’re you so how could you not win them over?
-the once hesitant maknae’s cling to your side whenever you’re at Hybe. Sometimes you swear you see them more than Jin.
“Y/n, let’s go shopping!”
“Y/n, have you seen x y and x?”
“Y/n, Taehyung hit me!”
And so forth.
-the hyung’s enjoyed your presence just as much. Yoongi was relieved someone else could take over as mom—he liked to joke that you two were the real parents of this band. Hobi would laugh at a bottle cap falling so you crack him tf up and namjoon our responsible leader is happy that his members are happy.
(He’s just trying to look cool, you two go on museum outings and have a book swap you do together)
Jin bits!✨tid bits about you and Jin✨
-every anniversary you guys start it off by having some form of vanilla cake in bed. His always with a candle on it.
-he always keeps a hoodie and a blanket in his car because this is not a kdrama and you are not getting a jacket because he’s cold too🙄
-you guys moved in together around your third year of dating, starting off in an apartment near myeongdeong for your job, but now y’all live in a house on the outskirts of Seoul
-if it’s not takeout, you most likely cooked the food for eat Jin. Can he cook? Yes. Does he cook when you’re around? Not unless you ask.
-you guys have so many matching pajama sets
-he cried when you said he wasn’t your bias. Fucking acting school😒
-you now own so much RJ merch it’s actually ridiculous and you asked him to stop bringing so many RJs home. The answer was no🤡
-after years of working your way up the ladder you own the bakery now! Jin wants to retire you because he doesn’t believe princesses need to work but you grew to actually the enjoy the job when you were no longer working cash register.
-his nickname for you is 공주님(princess)
NSFW
-idk y’all but Jin is giving me heavy experimentalist vibes. I think he’s less into the d/s side of bdsm and more into the bondage and the s/m side. He’s got clear limits but since your relationship is established and he trusts you so much he’s willing to try anything once within those limits.
-he also is the type to set the mood for these kinds of play. A spare room in the house with dark curtains, silk sheets and a chest full of all different types of things. He doesn’t really care who’s in charge in bed, that’s not really his aim. It could go either way for him.
-Jin’s kinda play is expensive. It’s nothing but the best for you, for both of you. He’s not one to flaunt his wealth but he’s always been a quality kind of guy. Your paddles? Leather, imported, small business. Your hand cuffs? Stainless steel and cushioned. Spanking bench? Cherry oak wood with velvet cushions baby. You’ve got matching harnesses in pink and white because of course something in here was going to be pink.
-he’s kinda just down for the ride. It’s that Sagittarius sun. You wanna tie him up? Cool. You want him to tie you up? Cool. You want to choke him? He’s down. His limits are around sharp pain and bodily fluids, besides cum because he’s very much so a much when prompted
-you better be ready though because when you get Seokjin in the right mood he is fucking until the sun comes up. This is usually when you’ve both been at an event—always his plus one—and there’s too many wandering eyes and not enough champagne. He’s surprisingly very possessive which you never would have clocked until it was prompted. So yeah he’s not one for sharing.
-he also does not breathe a word of your sex life to the boys or any other friend and he expects the same from you.
-lets just say that condom scandal held truth. because mans right here is packing the punisher. He got the back breaker, the cervix splitter 9000, you gotta be big and bad enough to ride this ride and you definitely are.
-as a trained actor one thing about Jin is he can embody a role. You want a mean dom? He can give you mean dom(after he’s done so so much research because he never wants to hurt you in a way that you don’t like). He can have you on the floor begging on your hands and knees tied to the leg of a chair like a mutt just to hump his shoe, when earlier that day homie was shuffling around the house in bunny slippers and an RJ headband. The duality with this one was crazy.
-he could also be tied up to the headboard of the bed begging you with tears in his eyes to just sink down on his cock and stop teasing him. Pretty pink harness on with pink padded cuffs to match. You know Seokjin and his love for pink, pink hair, pink microphone, pretty pink dick, just the basics yk?
-on the flip side if y’all aren’t in the play room, you’re getting your back blown out on your fluffy comfy king sized bed. It’s passionate, it’s sensual and it’s light hearted because one thing about Jin is he gonna laugh. One of you is gonna make a weird sound and he’s going to try so hard not to laugh, he really is, cause he’s balls deep and now is not the time but you guys make eye contact and it’s over. He’s fucking gone trying so hard to calm himself down.
Sometimes it ruins the moment but most of the time you’re able to pick up where you left off.
-all and all, Jin my first bias that wasn’t a leader, be throwing down in them sheets

Say you'll see me again even if it's just in your wildest dreams
Tumblr media
Pairings: Vic De Angelis xfem!reader
Contents: Fluff, SMUT
Summary: You're an up-and-coming actress, and Vic's best friend since high school. You have been friends and in love with each other for as long as you can remember. So when you have the chance to be together, it's magical.
Words: ~2276
A/N: Firstly, English isn't my native language, so pleeease forgive me if you come across any errors while reading. It's my first fanfiction, but I've planned it so so so much and I sincerely hope you have as much fun reading it as I had writing it!
"Well, she is..." A torrent of reminiscences flooded your mind, evoking memories of your youthful days, your time together in high school, and the challenging battles you fought to progress in your careers, always finding each other and nurturing your affection whenever circumstances permitted. "the love of my life."
In that poignant moment, it felt as though the air itself froze in your lungs, while a profound chill coursed through your entire being, setting your stomach aflutter.
"So, enlighten us on the factors contributing to your current state of not being together," the interviewer probed.
"We're constantly in each other's company, you know, whenever we can orchestrate it," you responded with a chuckle. "We're currently living the pinnacle of our lives, I mean, career-wise, you know? Måneskin is rocking it worldwide and I've got a TV series and two movies in the pipeline. It's quite a juggling act. Therefore, we're doing our utmost, just going with the flow."
You and the journalist continued to engage in lively discussions covering various topics, including your professional journey and the prospects of your upcoming projects. However, it was the part about your personal life that made you the most jittery. You had openly professed your love for Victoria in an interview for one of the biggest magazines in the world. Not that you both had never expressed your feelings for each other before, but this was different.
"What is the projected publication date for the article?" you inquired of the journalist.
"In a fortnight. Why do you ask? Regretting any of your statements?" she inquired, with a touch of suspicion yet clandestinely relishing the notion of your potential regret.
"Oh, not in the slightest," you responded, chuckling. "Simply curious."
🎸
"Guess who's rocking the cover of Rolling Stone!" your publicist burst into the dressing room, where you were getting ready for a TV show.
"Finally!" You widened your eyes and asked for a moment to quickly skim through the article. Of all the topics discussed, the focal point inevitably became your heartfelt declaration of love for Victoria, as though you had never before professed your love to her.
As you read snippets of the article, your phone rang, and a snapshot of you and Vic materialized with her name.
"Ciao cuore mio," you enthusiastically answered the call.
"So, am I really the love of your life?" Vic responded, her smile palpable.
"Did you read the magazine? I forewarned you, they would exploit it shamelessly, akin to treasure seekers lusting after gold."
"I only read the parts that piqued my interest, obviously. You look absolutely hot in the photoshoot they did. I want a poster of each of those pictures to plaster on the ceiling of every hotel I stay at during our tour." You struggle to contain your laughter, but it's futile.
You both shared a laugh for a moment. You needed to get back to doing your makeup, but hearing Victoria's voice was so invigorating. You missed her immensely.
"I wanna see you. It's been far too long since our last encounter, I can't bear it any longer," Victoria whispered the final sentence, sending shivers down your spine.
You were aware that the band was in the midst of their tour, so if you didn't go to meet her, you wouldn't be able to see each other.
"I have a recording session today, but I'm available all weekend. Where will you be?"
"Hmmm, we'll be passing through Germany. We have a concert in Berlin today and another in Cologne tomorrow. I'll have Sunday free. Fancy a little adventure around Germany?"
"Only if I have a backstage pass for the concert in Cologne."
"You always do, Y/N," Victoria replied confidently.
"Deal, now I have to go, I'm running terribly late. See you there."
🎸
At 7pm, you strolled into the dressing room accompanied by the security guards. Vic, Thomas and Ethan were gathered in a room adorned with an array of intriguing items, and serendipitously, you entered just as Victoria enveloped Thomas from behind, insinuating an intimate encounter. The vibrant energy exuded in that moment reignited a sense of belonging within you.
"I can't believe I made it to this amazing gathering!" You exclaim boisterously, bursting into laughter.
"Now the Måneskin is complete!" Thomas bellows, thrusting his hands into the air as he approaches to embrace you.
"Mia cara amica Y/N, I saved some slices of pizza for you," Ethan chimes in, hugging you while holding his drumsticks.
Damiano appears, shouting something incomprehensible, and in an instant, you find yourself on his shoulders.
"She's the love of my life," Damiano exclaims, mimicking your voice and bursting into laughter. "I've loved her ever since I grasped the true meaning of love. So much love for her!"
You close your eyes and burst into laughter as Damiano playfully mocks you, creating a nostalgic atmosphere where you all feel like carefree teenagers once again.
Suddenly, Victoria appears, perched atop Ethan's shoulders, mirroring your playful stance. You lock eyes, and in that moment, the world seems to stand still, leaving only the two of you. Having been apart for several months, every reunion is an explosion of emotions. One particular phrase she shared with you after a year-long separation still resonates: "I wanna swim between your thighs” Not long after that, Victoria confessed that, inspired by the night you spent together, she wrote "For Your Love" in just 20 minutes.
Your train of thought was abruptly halted when Damiano playfully released you, allowing Victoria to seize your face with both hands. With a glimmer of excitement in her eyes, she examined your features before planting a passionate kiss on your lips.
Regrettably, the kiss was short-lived, as they needed to take the stage. You accompanied them backstage, assisting Damiano and Thomas with their attire. When you approached Victoria to lend a hand, she awaited you with a radiant smile.
"I promise, once we're finished, I'll be completely devoted to you," she pledged, punctuating her words with one final kiss before donning her blazer.
"Oh, baby, rest assured, I'll be right here, hungrily devouring every captivating moment of the concert, my desires ignited by your mesmerizing performance."
"Mmm, I can feel the exhilaration coursing through my veins, knowing that this time, those deliciously naughty cravings will surpass your wildest imagination and materialize into an intoxicating reality."
She gave you a mischievous grin and, before turning towards the stage, playfully blew you an air kiss.
The concert was absolutely mind-blowing. The four of them were rocking it harder than ever, and your heart swelled with pride, having been there since their very first dream of starting a band and supporting them through every phase. Whenever Victoria had a chance to come backstage, she would shower you with passionate kisses, leaving you breathless.
By the end of the concert, they were buzzing with energy.
"You guys were fucking amazing!! I love you so much, I missed you!"
"We missed you too!" Ethan shouted over the roaring crowd, and Thomas nodded in agreement.
"Now that you're a big-shot actress, it's rare to see you tagging along to concerts with us," teased Damiano, laughing and tousling his hair. "But enough with this drama, I know you and Victoria are burning up inside. So go on, go head to the hotel and have a blast!"
"Next time, I'll bring Giorgia along so you won't be bored out of your mind, alright?"
We were teasing each other while Victoria changed outfits, and when she emerged in a different ensemble from the one she wore on stage, you, Damiano, and Thomas attempted to mimic a challenging dance move Thomas had seen on TikTok. Ethan, on the other hand, dared you to perform the same dance while he evaluated and gave it a rating.
As soon as you laid eyes on her, she looked absolutely stunning, even more down-to-earth than she did just moments ago on stage.
"Alright, enough fooling around, I've won, and my prize is Victoria. See you later." You halted the dance, approached Victoria, and planted a kiss on her lips.
🎸
You hop into an Uber to head back to the hotel, chatting away during the ride. Conversation has never been an issue for you both—you always have so much to catch up on since your lives are jam-packed, leaving little time for heart-to-heart talks.
"Last week, I was in Paris, did you catch that? Y/N, I stumbled upon this incredible restaurant that we absolutely have to try together. It's right up your alley, with all your favorite things. The whole time I was there, I couldn't stop thinking about you," she confessed.
"Was that the day you called me, and I couldn't pick up?"
"Yes, exactly! I just wanted to hear your voice. Sometimes it sucks being so far away from you," she replied, her gaze lowered as her hand gently glided up your thighs.
"We've arrived," the driver announces, and you step out of the car.
The moments leading up to entering Victoria's hotel room were a whirlwind for you, consumed by thoughts of indulging in every inch of her captivating form.
As soon as she locked the door behind you, her eyes locked onto yours, a potent mix of desire and admiration shining through. You yearned for her, craving her presence in every imaginable way. With a seductive grin, Vic shrugged off her jacket, revealing a tantalizing hint of her confidence. Closing the distance between you, she extended her hand and deftly slipped the coat off her shoulders, letting it fall carelessly to the floor.
"Now you're all mine," she whispered, pressing her lips against your exposed shoulders, playfully nibbling at your neck.
"And you're all mine, just us here," you whispered, your voice laced with possessiveness and adoration. With a gentle caress, you twirled a strand of her hair around your finger, relishing in its silky touch against your skin. In that moment, the world faded away, leaving only the two of you entwined in a uniquely intimate bond.
With a daring move, she firmly grasped your hips, asserting her dominance. In one swift motion, she pressed you against the wall, a mischievous grin playing on her lips. A surge of anticipation shot through you as your back met the unyielding surface.
Driven by a heady mix of desire and control, her hands began their ascent. One arm encircled you possessively, drawing you closer, while the other embarked on a tantalizingly slow journey, inching higher and higher. The tension mounted, testing your patience, until at last, she cupped your breast, igniting a surge of pleasure that rippled through your entire being.
Vic pulled back her hands with a mischievous grin.
"Not yet," she said, slowly stepping backward toward her bed, still holding your hand, her gaze fixed on you.
She undressed you completely, leaving you completely naked. A triumphant smirk played on her lips as she pushed you onto the bed, delighting in the sight of her breasts bouncing.
"I missed you so much," she whispered.
Crawling on top of you, she captured your wrists, trapping you beneath her. Her lips crashed against yours, trailing down to your chin and neck. She ravished your skin, sucking and nibbling, leaving a trail of moist kisses in her path. Then, with purposeful motion, she positioned her knee between your thighs, pressing it against your moist center. A gasp escaped her lips as you instinctively moved your hips forward.
She showered your body with kisses, leaving love bites on your sides, hips, and thighs. Her gentle touch caressed your heated skin, sending shivers of delight through your body. Vic reveled in teasing you, savoring the sound of your moans. At last, she focused her attention on your most sensitive areas, her mischievous grin fueling your excitement.
Her fingers embarked on a tantalizing dance, teasing your folds and stroking your clit. As she slid two fingers inside you, she lowered her face, nestling it between your thighs. Vic's warm breath against your skin sent waves of pleasure coursing through your body. With deliberate slowness, she lavished your clit with a long, languid lick, her tongue pressing firmly against it. Your moans filled the air as you instinctively reached out, tangling your fingers in her blonde locks, pulling her closer to you.
Vic increased the speed of her fingers, skillfully exploring every inch of her pulsating pussy, creating a symphony of juicy, tantalizing sounds. She eagerly sucked on your clit, simultaneously thrusting her fingers in and out with rapidity. The intensity heightened, your muscles tensing, and your body edging closer to the precipice. You couldn't help but let out loud moans, the pleasure intensifying within you.
And then it happened. Your climax crashed over you like a wild wave, and you couldn't suppress the loud scream that escaped your lips. Waves of ecstasy engulfed you as you experienced the euphoric release.
Vic continued to bestow attention on your sensitive folds, indulging in a few more licks of your pussy before planting a gentle kiss on your thigh, a silent sign of satisfaction.
"I missed you so, so much," she whispered, her mouth and chin still glistening, soaked with anticipation.
"Well, now it's my turn..." you whispered, a mischievous grin spreading across your face as you pulled her down, aligning your eyes with hers.
You pressed your lips against hers in a passionate kiss, and then shifted on top of her, reversing roles. This time, you took the lead and embarked on fulfilling her deepest desires, transporting her to euphoric heights just as she had done for you.

You sat on the couch, watching your husband’s latest movie. He had warned you that he would be dying in this film, but it did nothing to prepare you for how brutal his death scene was. You screamed at the TV as the demon punched a hole through your soulmate’s stomach.
Tears swelled in your eyes as I watched his students cry for him as he gave his final speech. Your tears fell down your face as you watched the sweet, happy smile spread over his face as he saw the ghost of his mother telling him how she was proud of him.
The need to turn the movie off before you were forced to witness Kyoujuro’s final breath hit you hard, but you  needed to finish the movie. You  were crying along with the other actors as yor beloved slowly lowered his head as he took in his last dying breath, blood pooling around him from the large wound in his stomach.
You hugged your Kyou plushies closer to your chest as you  continued watching each of the other hashira’s reaction to hearing about Kyoujuro’s death. By the time the ending credits were playing, you were sobbing and holding onto your plushie for dear life.
Pushing your Kyoujuro blanket down off yourlap, you wrapped his hashira cape closer around your naked body. You had asked the production team if you could keep the haori as a memento of his best selling movie and thankfully they agreed. You loved wearing the cloak around the house so much. It drove Kyoujuro insane when you would wear it.
Walking into the kitchen, you grabbed some fruit to snack on while you waited for Kyoujro to come home from a recent shoot. Season two of the show he was a part of was airing soon and by popular demand, he was getting a special original episode and a televised premiere of his movie with extra scenes.
Checking the clock, you saw that it was nearly ten at night. Kyoujuro should be home soon. You  left the kitchen to go to our bedroom to put some clothing on. You did not need him trying to pounce on you while wearing your  prized haori.
You put on one of his hoodies that looked like his demon slayer outfit from the movie. What could you say? You would forever support your husband by buying every little bit of merch that comes out of him.  You loved to support his career. You had a whole room dedicated to all his figures and posters.
A smile tilted at your face as you heard the front door to the house open and Kyoujuro tiredly announced that he was home. You stepped out of the bedroom to go greet him happily. Wrapping your arms around his neck and kissing him soundly on the lips.
“My hero is home.” you said, your voice a happy chirp as you referred to one of the movies you acted together in and he was your savior. It was how the two of you actually met.
Kyoujuro chuckled as he tiredly returned your kiss, wrapping his arms around your waist and hugging you gently. He missed his wife so much. Shooting all those new scenes for the upcoming show was tiresome.
And having to refilm his death scene left a bitter taste in his mouth. He was happy that his fans wanted to see more of him, but having that fake arm shoved through his stomach for the second time was uncomfortable and the actor who played Akaza messed up the shoot three times this time when he had gotten it perfect the first time.
He arched a brow when he pulled away and took notice of your current attire. “Love, why are you wearing that?” He asked, feeling his cock stir the longer he looked at you wearing his merch. You knew what it does to him seeing you covered in his items. Especially when they draped down your body and made you seem even smaller in his eyes.
You pulled at the neck of the hoodie before giving him an innocent smile. “It's just some of your merch. I was watching the Mugen Train before you came.” you smiled up at him and you backed up so he could see your full attire. You gave him a little spin, the hood of the jacket flaring out some with the movement. “Aren’t I cute?”
“Baby girl...” he said, softly under his breath, his head lowered. While he knew that you had to have cried while watching that movie. You always did this. Make herself cry while watching his movies.
He knew that his one in particular would make you cry hard because his character had just been introduced in the show only to be killed off in a movie. “Why do you do this to yourself?” He asked, grabbing your arm and pulling you to his chest.
“Hmm?” You hummed as you sunk into his warm enbrace. “I'm just a masochist and I think the demon is hot.” you giggled when he suddenly started to tickle me. “Kyoujuro!” you squealed as his fingers assaulted your sides.
You tried to wriggle away, but he would not let you, his strong arms holding you in place. “I’m sorry!” you said through laughing so hard, tears were coming down your face. “I was kidding! I only looked at you the whole movie, I swear!”
Kyoujuro hummed as he continued to tickle his wife. “Good girl.” He praised, but didn’t stop his seeking fingers as that danced along your sides, producing more of your melodious laughter. He truly missed you these past few weeks while he was stuck on set with the crew filming these episodes.
So, he was going to enjoy as much time with you as he could. “My little fireball.” He purred as he finally stopped his attack and pressed you closer to his body, his hands smoothing over the fabric of the hoodie you wore.
You wapped your arms around his neck, leaning in to kiss him softly. “I’m not wearing anything under this hoodie.” you whispered in his ear. “I was sitting on the couch, your hashira cloak draped over my shoulders, with your blanket over my legs.”
You described everything you did while he was on screen; how you touched your body – eyes closed as you listened to the sound of his voice. “Do you know how hard I ache for you when we have different sets to go to and when you have to stay late for reshoots.” you took his hand and guided it to your legs and under the hoodie where your aching and dripping cunt was. “This much.”
His eyebrow arched when his fingertips were almost instantly drenched in your slick when he touched your throbbing pussy. “You ache that badly, wife?”  He spun you around so that you were facing the large mirror the two of you had over the couch. Pulling the hoodie up to expose your naked body, he had you hold the end of it between your teeth. “Then watch me as I fuck you tonight, my darling.”
You let out a small whimper at Kyoujuro’s lewd words as his fingers dipped inside your clenching hole. His other hand grabbed your thigh, lifting your leg to spread them apart so that you could see his thick fingers slipping in and out. You leaned your head back against his shoulder as the lewd sounds of his pleasuring you filling the living room.
His lips slid over to your ear as his deep voice rumbled yor spine as he told you to keep watch on the mirror. You  had not even noticed that your eyes had closed, lost in the feelings he was stiring within you.
“Keep those pretty eyes open for me and watch as my fingers disappear within you, baby.” He sped up the thrust of his digits, plunging them in and out, the squelching noises increasing. He could tell that you were close and smiled into your neck as he immediately slowed the pace until he was shallowly touching you with the tips of his fingers, softly circling your clit. A chuckle left Kyoujuro at your whine and he bit down on your exposed neck. “Watch me then, pretty girl.”
You opened your eyes and looked at your reflection in the mirror, your face heating with embarrassment from the lewd, erotic sight.Your leg held up in the crook of his elbow while his other hand covered your pussy as his fingers thrust in and out at a leisurely pace.
“Kyou...” you pleaded, your voice a keening whine as you reached behind you to wrap your arm around his neck. “I'm watching, please?” you could feel the piece of the hoodie that was clenched in yor teeth grow damp from my saliva.
Kyoujuro glanced down at his wife, your body trembling in his hold as he pressed his hips against yours. “Such a pretty thing when you beg.” He turned his head and pressed his lips against your forehead, kissing it softly. The sweet act betreaying the movement of his fingers as he fucked you on them.
“You’re so tight and wet, my love. Just look at how your pussy is devouring my fingers. Like it can’t get enough.” His eyes never left your face as he watched you witness yourself come undone by his fingers alone. “That’s right, my beautiful wife. Cum. Cum all over daddy’s fingers.”
You bit down harder on the fabric in your mouth, probably tearing a hole in it in the process. Your body shook violently as Kyoujuro thumbed at your clit to speed up your orgasm. You felt lightheaded as you  creamed on his fingers, your walls fluttering; clenching and unclenching tightly. “So good, daddy.” your voice was still muffled by the cloth as saliva dripped out of the corners of your mouth as tears of pleasure burned at your eyes.
You were slightly surprised when he suddenly yanked the hoodie off of your body, spinning you back around, picking you up so that my legs were wrapped around his waist, and his lips on mine.
Kyoujuro hungrily kissed his wife. He needed you so badly, but something was missing. Setting you back down on your feet, he motioned with his head to the bedroom. “Go put on my Hashira haori.”
At your confused look, he smiled. “I want to fuck you while you’re wearing my merch and what better than my one of a kind haori?” Kyoujuro gave you a light spank as he guided you in the direction of your shared room, where he knew that’s where you stored the cloak.

Frozen Through the Years
Yearly Spotlight: 2019
Written by @toriofthetrees
After six long years, 2019 saw the release of the long-anticipated sequel, Frozen II.
The lead-up up to the release was intense to say the least.
The first teaser trailer premiered in February, opening with Elsa on a black-sand beach stripped down to her bare essentials, barefoot, ready to take on a raging sea. She attempted twice to cross the torrential waters before the trailer turned to Anna’s shock of hundreds of diamond-shaped glass covered in strange symbols, taking over Arendelle. Following closely behind were several moments of Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Anna taking on dangerous challenges, and a show of strange, foreign magic. All of this was centered around this new, mysterious setting known only at the time as an autumnal forest.
It gave just enough of a preview to hook millions.
The trailer was viewed and downloaded several million times on Twitter and YouTube within a short amount of time. In the fandom, a storm of news, posts, speculation, and discussions broke out over several platforms, too chaotic to keep track of. The months that followed the teaser were absolutely brimming with excitement! Across cinemas, television, and the internet—both in the US and internationally—came many trailers, sneak peaks, and posters about the upcoming movie. Alongside this came leaks as well, all of it sparking speculation in the fandom over what the plot of the movie could be.
Countless books about Frozen II came onto the market before the film was even released, notably without the end of the film printed within their pages. This lead to fans in many locations to protest the shops selling these books, wanting their money back.
Most of these protests lead to no results.
Success for Disney Studios, specifically. contributed to the exposure for Frozen II. ~In March, Disney invested billions of US dollars in company acquisitions across the film and TV industry, creating the most powerful media company in the world in the USA. ~This was the year of the 6th Disney D23 Expo, the biggest Disney fan event of the year! It was held on August 23–25 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, showcasing news and pictures around all the new Disney parks, resorts—and movies! Including Frozen II! ~On November 12, 2019, Disney launched its streaming platform Disney+ in several countries ~2019 ultimately proved to be Disney's most successful cinema year to date, regardless of which new film was released!
All of this led up to the release of Frozen II on November 20, 2019 in most countries (unfortunately some countries had to wait until the beginning of January).
This new installment to Elsa and Anna’s story saw the sisters and their found family making a long trek away from Arendelle… in order to save it. Mysterious magics send them up north to the Enchanted Forest, that is covered in an impenetrable mist. Yet, it parts for them. The deeper they go into the forest, the more they discover about themselves, their family, the spirits, Arendelle… so that only one thing can be said for certain: Nothing will ever be the same again.
This film was polarizing.
In the cultural zeitgeist, it was a massive success like its predecessor, exceeding Frozen as the highest grossing animated film of all time. It received mostly positive reviews and it would go on to be nominated for multiple awards, including an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song. The Disney merchandising machinery was running at full speed and earned the company many more millions within a short amount of time. The limited edition dolls were sold out on the same day as release! However, it notably did not have the same cultural reach that its predecessor had. “Into the Unknown,” to many, was not comparable to “Let it Go.” And the film was nominated aplenty, but never actually received any awards.
However, it was within the fandom that this polarization was seen the clearest.
Frozen II made good on its promise that nothing would ever be the same for these characters. The sisters, though still as close as ever, no longer lived under the same roof by the end of the film. Elsa abdicated her crown for her duties as the Fifth Spirit and Guardian of the Enchanted Forest, while Anna took over as Queen of Arendelle. This separation, whilst to some was a step-up for the sisters, others saw as a step back. This debate rages in the fandom to this day, and many, many fans on Tumblr, Reddit, and other social media prefer Frozen to its sequel.
The fandom did gain some new content, including the addition of multiple ships. There were two that were rather popular. The first was Agduna (Agnarr/Iduna), which came about because of the major focus Frozen II had on them, the sisters’ parents. The second was Elsamaren (Elsa/Honeymaren), which came about because Honeymaren had a minor, but important interaction with Elsa in the film that sent her on the right path to Ahtohallan.
Just as Frozen II’s main theme—change—impacted the sisters, so to it did the fandom. The polarizing effect of the film lead to quite passionate arguments over its content. However, the fandom did not get any smaller or lose any passion. People continued to create, debate, discuss, and post about Frozen and Frozen II. In interviews, the cast and crew said that Frozen II was made to grow up with the audience who were there when the first film was released in theaters. With that in mind, the fandom no longer looked like it did when Frozen first came out.
Things change.

https://www.gofundme.com/f/donate-to-help-psychosis-nicho
"Hello. I'm Ruben Zamora from Masked Republic and I'm fundraising for my friend the original Pyschosis, also known as Nicho.
On Thursday, February 15th, 2024 Nicho suffered a fall while working. At the moment, nobody knew how bad the injury was. After a few days, fellow luchador Damian convinced him to go to the hospital. Nicho took the advice, which he would later learn might have saved his life. At the moment, nobody knew how bad the injury was.
Upon arriving at the hospital, x-rays and an MRI were taken and showed that his right hip was broken. Not bruised, not fractured, but broken. Medical doctors advised Nicho that he would not be able to go home and instead must stay for observation and an eventual emergency surgery.
A few days later the surgery was performed successfully. Several days later, Nicho was allowed to go home. I have been in contact with Nicho and he tells me that he is not able to sit up, move, much less walk. He is to stay in bed for several weeks before he can attempt to sit up. Nicho tells me that the pain is severe, keeping him from sleeping at night.
Why am I doing this, you may ask? Nicho has been not only a very good friend to me, but he has been a loyal supporter in what we do at Masked Republic since day 1. When ever I called for a booking date, he always said yes, asked when and where, and say he'd be there. (Note, he never started the conversation asking about pay.) When I needed a radio interview, or a tv appearance, Nicho was always the first to step up and help out... never asking about pay. When I would go out at midnight to plaster my event posters around San Diego, Nicho would cross the border and come along to help put up posters. He never asked for anything in return. When the attendance was bad and I was short on cash, Nicho would tell me, "pay everyone else first. Take care of all the kids (luchadors from the undercard) and your expenses first and whenever you have money, don't forget about me".
For those reasons, and many more, I want to help my friend Nicho, the real and true original Psychosis.
His generosity and support has allowed me and Masked Republic to thrive in the lucha libre space, and thus allowing us to help others and provide them with an opportunity to pursue their dreams as well.
All donations will go directly to Nicho in order for him to pay his medical bills, pay for his upcoming physical therapy, and help pay for any future medical expenses as he will not be able to work for the foreseeable future.
I ask that you please help if you can. Every donation will help. Please tell a friend.
Thank You!

Luo Yunxi's next drama is coming!
This is what we know can assume so far! I got so excited, I had to write about it!
Tumblr media
Well, first of all, a lot of this information hasn't been confirmed yet. Particularly around the cast, there are many contradictory rumors.
The drama is currently called Shui Long Yin (水龙吟). It will likely start filming mid-November 2023 in Hangdian. It's going to be a long shoot with 4-5 month. This means it's likely going to have a full 40 episodes.
The drama is an adaptation of Teng Ping's novel 千劫眉. This is the author from the recently aired Mysterious Lotus Casebook. Going from what I have picked up from the original novel, there are some similarities between both stories, mainly centering on the dynamics between multiple male characters, with no female love interests. There is also the possibility, that MLC scriptwriters added some parts of 千劫眉 to the other story, so both might be a bit (too) similar. So we will see what kind of further adaption will be made.
The drama will be directed by Chen Zhoufei, who has done mostly modern dramas, as well as the recently shot Shao Nian Bai Ma Zui Chun Feng Season 2, another Wuxia bormance drama.
We can assume, that the drama will be produced by Otter Studio again, who already worked with Luo Yunxi for Immortality and Till The End of The Moon. As for the broadcast platforms, rumor has it, that there is an ongoing biting war between Yukou and Mango. Currently, it seems like Mango TV is winning, and the show will be additional aired on Hunan TV - which will reach a broader audience! I'm not an expert on this, but not many Wuxia and Xianxia dramas get aired on TV, so this is a big deal!
The rumored cast of the drama changes from day to day. The two names attached to the show the longest (besides Luo Yunxi) are Xiao Shun Yao and Chen Yao. Both have been acting with Luo Yunxi before in either TTEOTM or in Chen Yao's case in the yet to air Immortality and Follow Your Heart. There is another cast member of Follow Your Heart appearing on the possible cast list for the first time: Cheng Lei!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
While I haven't seen Chen Yao in a drama yet, I'm really excited about the possibility of Xiao Shun Yao, who I loved in Mysterious Lotus Bookcase, and Cheng Lei, who was one of my favorites in My Journey to You. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, since the cast will likely change! But then there is also this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As for the rest of the cast, in today's melon, Bao Shangen, Lin Yun and Yu Chengen are (tentative) named. All of them are young and upcoming actors. So far, there doesn't seem to be a real female lead, just like in the novel. However, other melons name Liu Haocun or Zhang Xueying (Princess Silver) or Bao Shangen as potential candidates for the female lead. So we will have to wait for the official announcement. But it's fun to speculate!
Another rumor I saw is that my beloved Sun Zhenni (Pianran from TTEOTM) will make a guest appearance! I also wouldn't be surprised to see some of the usual suspects making another appearance next to Luo Yunxi!
Now, as someone that adore world-building, I'm particularly excited about the style of the show. It's said to be a mix of wuxia and xianxia tropes and aesthetics, and this is a main reason that so many platforms are interested in it. We get some indicators from the poster.
Let's look at the details of the official poster:
Tumblr media
White hair, I repeat, white hair! The main character Tang Lici is described as ruthless and is famous for his long white hair! I'm so excited for this. Are we finally going to see Luo Yunxi in white hair for a drama?!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I also love the color scheme of white, peach and black of the poster. It looks like there is a black flute stuck in his belt. He is also holding a bowl of food, maybe a seashell? That looks too random, to be a coincidence. So he likely will use musical cultivation as a weapon.
Tumblr media
I'm not sure how the dragon relates to his character. Maybe he is one, maybe he is called one? Either way, it would be Luo Yunxi's third time playing a dragon, after Wangye and Runyu. This one seems to be related to water again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In his most recent interview, Luo Yunxi mentioned, that he is already preparing for the role, learning lines and diving into his character. I can't wait for more!

Today marks 7 years since the reawakening of my Captain Underpants hyperfixation, which had been asleep for a very, very long time.
I had first discovered the books much like any kid in the late 90s/early 2000s; at the Scholastic Book Fair. If I remember correctly, the first one I had found was the second book, Attack of the Talking Toilets. I remember thinking how silly the cover looked, and it drew my little elementary school self in like a moth to flame.
I had quickly read it and absolutely loved it, and like discovering a new favorite treat for the first time, I immediately wanted more.
I was able to find the first book in my school’s library so I was able to get the full story on the two best friends who pulled the ultimate prank by hypnotizing their grouch of a school principal, and how it immediately became the worst decision they ever made. And I loved every second of it.
As the years went on, I eagerly anticipated the Book Fair’s arrival at my school and would beg my mom for a few dollars extra, just so I get my hands on the newest adventure.
I devoured every single story I could find and bought as soon as I could, and each one was more entertaining than the last. From alien lunch ladies and zombie nerds, to a megalomaniac professor with an incredibly silly name in a giant robot with charts that you could use to give yourself a silly name (mine is “Poopsie Bananachunks” BTW), to an insane hypnotized woman with Medusa hair that gave atomic wedgies.
The more I read and reread these stories, the more I couldn’t help but think that it would make a pretty fun movie, or at least a tv show.
These stories had been with me through a lot of ups and downs in my life, the biggest being my parents’ divorce. They were there to remind me that even when times could be tough, you can make it through and still be able to laugh at even the silliest of things, no matter how old you got.
By the time I was 10, I got my hands on the latest book in the series, The Big Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy Part 1. I loved it as always, but was shocked to see it ended on a cliffhanger. This had never happened before. I was anxious to see what would happen and how George and Harold would get out of this mess.
But… it would be some time before I got those answers.
Time went on, and my attention went to other things. I found new hyperfixations over the years, and while I didn’t have the 7th book at the time, I was eventually able to get answers thanks to the internet.
Eventually I entered middle school, and I found myself drawn to new book series that I grew to love, but Captain Underpants remained a big part of my childhood and some of its happiest memories. And for a while, I thought that was all it would be; memories to just fondly look back on.
But that all changed the winter of 2016.
It was the halfway point between Christmas and New Year’s, and I was gonna be 24 in less than a month. I was spending my downtime between holidays like any other bored 20-something year old; scrolling through Tumblr, of course. It was during that time that I stumbled across this post by @mondentertainment. It was photos of posters from a Licensing Expo, showcasing upcoming animated projects, be it films or series.
Among them were a few that sounded promising, others not so much.
But what caught my eye was this.
Tumblr media
A poster from DreamWorks with a very familiar face on it.
I could barely believe what I was seeing, and from the comments and reblogs on the post, neither could a lot of other people.
It was like a door that had been long locked in the back of my brain finally burst open, and all those memories came flooding back, particularly of a reoccurring thought that ran through my young mind whenever I would look at those illustrations every time I turned the page.
Could it really be true? Was one of my favorite childhood books finally getting a chance to truly come to life on the big screen?
It had already happened once before after I read Coraline in middle school, so there might be a chance.
As you could probably imagine, I poured my thoughts of hope and excitement into the tags as I reblogged the post.
Tumblr media
And when the trailer finally dropped three months later, it was like meeting that one childhood friend you never truly forgot all over again.
So much happened after seeing the movie on opening night, including meeting Dav Pilkey himself!
And all the great memories and friends I’ve made since rediscovering the fandom all lead back to that one moment on December 28th, 2016.
And I couldn’t be more grateful for that.

Christian Linke and Alex Yee Q&A
From here  (will update if there’s more)
With special addition from Amanda’s
Below the cut are the questions and answers they provided
Q: Anything in regards to an art book for this show? Would love nothing more than to secure a copy of one.
Christian: There is one in the works! I remember talking to some folks at Fortiche and Riot about it a few months ago. I'm not sure where they are in the process, but it's coming for sure.
Q: Hi! Do you think Caitlyn and Vi shippers will be happy with the upcoming season?
Alex: There's that part they might like, and that part they're probably gonna hate.
Amanda (A reply to Alex’s post): I take full responsibility for both. And stand by that they make the show better!
Q: How did you all go about capturing such minute and captivating micro-expressions? Also, Caitlyn and Vi have been really fun for my wife and I to watch together as a lesbian couple. We really hope we get to see their relationship grow in new and interesting ways. I'm curious about how their roles as "Piltover's Finest" will differ from how they do in LoL. Will caitlyn still be a sheriff, or more of a private eye working independently from the Enforcers?
Also, what is the likelihood we will see them as official "girlfriends" next season? Will it mainly be implied or outright stated? I realize if you can't share much, but I (and my wife) are dying to know.
Lastly, will we get to see the entire tattoo on Vi's back at any point?
Christian:
I appreciate you speaking to the smaller details of the character moments. Generally speaking, people in animation will advise against those silent beats where subtle expressions mean as much as any word could, but that's the sort of drama we really craved in the animation space. We simply have awesome animators :) And a wildly talented animation director Bart Manoury, who defined that entire look for Arcane.
For Vi's tattoo -- we have the complete design, I'm not quite sure why we haven't shared it with everyone. Let me inquire about that.
Regarding Vi and Caitlyn, I wish I could say more at this point, but a lot of the answers I'd give you would spoil the experience on screen. I'm confident in the direction we're taking it, and I very much wanna hear from you once Season 2 is out.
Q:  what we should expect for Viktor in season 2?
Christian: Everything
Q: Will there be anymore merch drops for Arcane? O: I would love to have posters or even figures/statues/nendoroids of any of the characters!
Christian: Yes. I myself am the sort of person that likes to have dozens of statues, trinkets and figurines on his shelf. The underwhelming amount of merch during Season 1's release is very high on my list of gripes. We're actively working on making sure that we do much better next time around.
Alex: I certainly hope so!
Q: Are there plans to release the scripts for Arcane? I would love to study these.I know you guys don't come from a typical Hollywood background and that's what I love about Arcane, it's so fresh and new. How did you learn how to create a show? How did you write the finale to encapsulate so much emotion and meaning?
Christian: Yes! Quite frankly, we just haven't gotten to consolidating all the different versions yet. Some of it also touches on Season 2 spoiler risks, so I'm afraid we still need to find the time to go through the mountain that is our Season 1 scripts. ;o
In the beginning, we certainly had no idea how to craft a TV series. Personally, I tried to read a lot of books about story crafting and screenwriting. I can't say that I found many of them useful, but at least they all confirmed the general framework of act structures and character drive.
We spent a good amount of time in meetings with other folks who worked in the industry, always looking for that secret sauce that unlocks a TV story structure, and... turns out it doesn't exist. So once you come to that conclusion, it becomes a bit easier to roll up your sleeves and go "alright, let's find our own". At this point, we have our own "metrics" and processes to track plot and character. It's always somewhat messy when you intend to craft a complex story, but that's just part of the work.
Good story (in my mind) is all about hard choices. Many writers talk about being "character driven" without actually writing character driven stories. If you ask your hero whether or not they will help save the world from an alien invasion, the answer always is "yes, duh". Thus, the character doesn't REALLY have a decision to make. The sole question that remains is "HOW are they gonna overcome their obstacle?" -- which is entertaining, but it really doesn't drive the story forward with full autonomy.
I think Alex and I gravitate toward stories that leave characters with costly or even impossible choices.
Amanda (Add onto Christian’s post): I think of this in terms of what a character hopes and fears. You have to know what these are (and make sure the audience knows too) and use them to tug a character towards impossible decisions. I also think you have to be able to relate to these hopes and fears. As Christian mentioned, the fear of dying in an alien invasion isn’t relatable. Neither is the hope of winning a civil war (for most people), but what made Silco’s quest for Zaun’s freedom relatable is that it was rooted in his hope that he could win back his brother Vander’s respect. And without his respect, Silco feared he was the “dirty little thing” his station in life always ascribed to him. Fearing you aren’t good enough, and craving respect from family are deeply relatable emotions. This is what a “character driven story” means to me!!
Q: I've watched this show many many times, introducing it to new people, and always finding another detail or two I didn't during previous watches! While writing the story, what was the most complex story-telling issue you guys ran into?
Christian: We wanted all of our characters to be "real", and thus, make imperfect decisions. The finale of the 3rd episode was scary, because both Vi and Powder really mess up and make terrible decisions. At the same time, we didn't want these choices to alienate them entirely.Characters like Jinx and Silco constantly murder and manipulate. Can an audience still root for them? It's a bit of a dance between their many risky actions and choices.
Amanda (Add onto Christian’s): Again, I think this comes from relatable motivations. Jinx, (and Powder before her), was always desperate to prove herself worthy — worthy of her sister’s faith in her, worthy of Silco’s faith in her. We shouldn’t have to prove ourselves worthy of love, but that is a struggle we all face in so many different ways. A character making terrible decisions is much more forgivable if you too have felt what they’re feeling. I always say I love characters that do the right thing for the wrong reasons, or the wrong thing for the right reasons, everything else is boring!
Q: If you could have made arcane about any other part of runeterra which one has most interest to you?
Christian: Sheesh... there's a lot. ;) We've been working on Arcane for over 7 years now, so naturally, you have ideas for other stories over time.I think the "grimsical" tone that Arcane features works well for Alex and I. That said, I'm really interested in exploring some more quirky stuff as well. The League IP has a lot to offer, it's very diverse in cultural and tonal aspects.
Alex: There are stories I'd love to tell all over Runeterra. One of the joys of working on Arcane was having the opportunity to dive deep into the style, look, and culture of Piltover/Zaun. At Riot we of course have our ideas, but there is still a magic of discovery whenever you invest time conceptualizing one of Runeterra's regions.I've always been a fan of the intrigue/machinations of Noxus, the aesthetics and history of Ionia, the mythos of the Freljord.
Q: In an episode of “Into the Rift”, it’s said that the early drafts of Arcane weren’t good. How much of that draft and the final show are similar or different? Just character arcs and interactions? Major plot points? Or was the entire idea of the show changed?
Christian: A lot (if not all) of the story structure and character arcs were the same.
Crafting the episodes and scenes in a fashion that builds the right tension over time and tracks all the parallel stories wasn't really clicking yet at that time, so Alex and I getting help from the outside and learning more about how to "break an episode" really unlocked the episodes to be stronger.
Alex: The broad strokes of the show never really changed. I'd say the biggest evolutions concerned pacing and development of emotional storytelling. We were more plot-focused before that. We always wanted big emotional beats between characters, we just strengthened their integration to the overall story.
Often, a slight shift in our approach significantly changed the spirit of a scene or beat. We were fortunate to have brainstormed so many moments before we rebooted the story though, it gave us a wealth to draw from when we went into the proper writer's room.
Q: What were some of the small touches in the art and writing of Arcane that didn't mean that much in the big picture, but that you really enjoyed personally?
Christian: Man... also too many to count. ;) The wonderful thing about our collaboration with Fortiche is that artists at the studio are really empowered. An example that Alex likes to bring up and that we all really love is the ash tray in Silco's office. We didn't instruct them to make it look like Jinx painted it in her trademark whimsical style, they did that themselves. They were tasked with designing a simple ash tray and thought, "how can I do more with this than the minimum?" -- and so they did. Now, an ash tray tells a story.
Q: Will season 2 be the final season in the Piltover and Zaun region? Will there be more interactions between Ekko and Jinx in season 2?
Christian: I don't think answering this first question would actually benefit you, so I'm not gonna do it. Oh yes (to the q of Ekko and Jinx).
Q: Will there be another season of bridging the rift or any more behind the scenes content?
Christian: I don't know if it's gonna be another full Bridging The Rift, but I know that we're filming BTS material all around. So in some shape or form, there are gonna be more glimpses behind the curtain for you. :)
Q: If you could choose a single word to describe season 2, what would you pick?
Christian: War
Alex: Rubicon
Amanda: Well I’m more of a sap than these guys, but I say “forgiveness.”
Q: What were some of the biggest influences on Arcane in terms of writing or animation?
Christian: Alex and I were talking a lot about Peaky Blinders while we were working on Season 1.For animation, there really isn't that much I would reference to be frank. When we started Arcane, there wasn't really anything out there that had the look and style we had in mind.
Amanda: Let’s not forget our “Lord of the Rings” dollar jar. Bunch of bills in there from you, Christian!!
Christian: True. Though Arcane development started long before Spiderverse.
Q: When is season 2 coming?
Christian: B-)
Q: How long do you see yourself doing Arcane? Can you see the series becoming a revolving door of stories told from different regions of Runeterra at some point?Have you ever had a great idea for something in the show, that came too late? eg: animation is too far along to change
Christian: We definitely want to explore other regions. At the same time, we've all seen shows and movies that try to cram in too many different perspectives too quickly. I think we gotta earn our way into a larger world view first. So definitely coming in the future, but we have to find the right pace for the story we wanna tell.
Regarding having an idea for something that came too late -- yes, constantly. ;) As someone much wiser than us once said: "Art is never finished, only abandoned".
Q: Does "Our Love" image on the record in the show refer to personifications of Piltover and Zaun? Since the girls are colour coded as respective cities over big red-dot in the sky.
Christian: Indeed!
Q: When making the soundtrack for the show, what did you and/or others have in mind for selecting artists and sounds for what would end up making the cut? Were there any you were considering that didn’t make it?
Christian: It starts with the editors at Fortiche looking for the right moment(s) in every episode that could feature a "music video moment". Usually, the vibe and mood of the story boards paints a target that we then try to cast appropriately.
You tend to have a shortlist of 5-10 artists that you then try to hunt.
During Season 1, it was really hard to find artists, because we were an unproven studio, and a lot of artists weren't interested in animated series. Luckily, the ones who joined us did so because they really believed in the vision, more so than it being an easy win.
Amanda: The storyboard artists make the intention of the scene work. Without them our writing would be boring, flat words. Coming from a live action background, the collaboration in the boards feels like working with a director and the actors all at once — they decide camera angles and blocking which is everything to the emotion and feeling of a scene.
Q: Did you guys overall have a favorite scene or episode from the final product? What was it like/how did it feel to take in all of the positive reactions, to witness the major impact that Arcane left?
Christian: The finale of Episode 6 is always very powerful to me. Probably that. It was a powerful feeling, because you poured your entire existence into this project for over half a decade, well knowing that the League audience is unmerciful. It was super-scary to imagine that they may not like it. That's a chunk of your life you'd never get back. Thankfully, it worked out. :)
Alex: Definitely one of the hardest questions to answer. Kind of a copout to say the dinner scene (109), but I always marvel at the emotion Fortiche was able to evoke in animation there. Similar feeling for the bridge fight (107), even though I do really love the intergration with music and how much story is told.
I'll throw a nod to the Chuck/Thieram scene with Jinx (106). It is/was a moment of general silliness, both in the writing act and the show that doesn't always feel like it fits with the rest of the tone, but it makes me smile that it survived all the way to the finish.
Q: What's your favorite episode of the show? Did Silco braid Jinx's hair? How long did Jinx's tattoos take? Who's your favorite character?
Christian: Probably 106. Yes, though he most definitely sucked at it, no matter how much he tried. Eventually, he paid someone to invent a machine that can braid Jinx's hair, but Jinx would always tinker with it, to a point where it once nearly strangled her in the process. He once asked Sevika to do it, but Sevika threatened to quit. So Silco had to keep doing it, until Jinx was old enough to learn it. Not sure I understand the question. Heimerdinger.
Q: You mentioned passionate tweets on social media. Does that mean the creators of Arcane see a large part of the fans tweets, fanart, disccusion?
Christian: Yeah, we see a good amount. Though Arcane's fan art on twitter tends to be a bit of a minefield. :X
Alex: We see quite a bit, but I have the feeling it's only the tip of the iceberg. I wish I had the fluency to dip into more of the fan reactions from all the non-English regions where Arcane was released.
Q: Are there people in the production crew you'd like to give a shout out to and why? Who are the unsung heroes of Arcane? What's a small detail or easter egg in the show that no one has discovered yet? What is your favorite plugin/audio effect that you used to produce any song in the Arcane soundtrack? Any teases for S2?
Christian:
I'd say that the story board artists are truly the creative unsung heroes. Our story boarders are FANTASTIC, and the amount of things they have to juggle is insane. And yet, none of their work ends up in the final picture, which always makes me sad.
There's loads. I think someday -- maybe in a few years -- I'll wanna check in on that and see which have just not gotten discovered. :)
Gulfoss. It's pure magic.
Q: Are all the scripts complete for Season 2?
Christian: Yes. Though there's always some amount of tweaks that happen in the process. Seeing story boards & hearing voices for the first time makes you realize that something doesn't quite click, or there's new opportunities you didn't recognize before.
Q: What were some events and actions that you really liked and wanted in the show, but had to rewrite or cut because they didn’t properly push story arc of some characters, or went against how that character should act at that point in their arc? Or what was your proudest achievement with this show that was cut, rewritten, or something that you knew the viewing audience would never know about?
Christian: There was another scene in Episode 107, a flashback between Ekko and Powder that takes place a few months after the end of Episode 103. It was a very touching moment during which Ekko tries to save Powder from Silco, but Powder refuses to go with him. "Powder is dead" .Alas... sometimes, it is your darlings that end up on the chopping block. Animation is expensive, and time is very much so money.
Q: How did y’all decide to include Get Jinxed by Djerv in the show, even though it was created for the LoL version of Jinx back in 2013? Does that song actually exist in the Arcane universe, or was it just part of soundtrack/Jinx’s imagination?
Christian: The song has a lot of meaning for us, because it was the first time Fortiche and I worked together on something. The beginning of the whole relationship.I don't think the song exists in the Arcane universe, no. That was more a selfish little moment for us. :)
Q: One of the things I really liked about Arcane was how there was no fat. There was not a single scene that felt tacked on or unnecessary, but you still managed to flesh out the world. Noxus was a great example. Their inclusion made the world feel bigger but it didn’t slow down the plot for a second.I know it’s a group effort deciding which scenes to cut but I was wondering what you’re criteria is when making those decisions.
Christian: I know that some people said Arcane moves at a pace that's too brisk, but both Alex and I like it when episodes really move the story forward. We all have our favorite TV shows that often enough present us filler episodes. We just didn't want that.
We followed act structures per episode. Every character story line would get their 3 acts, plus "twist" to set up the future conflict.
We did also have a piece of paper in our writer's room that spelled out our criteria for a successful scene:
- How does this scene develop the character?
- How does this scene further the plot?
- How does this scene teach the audience something new about the world?
You don't always get all 3, but it needs to have at least 2.
Q: Is it possible for Mel Medarda to return in Season 2? :c
Alex: Solidly possible.
Q: Are there gonna be any sex scenes in S2?
Christian: Ew, no! Gross. Maybe.
Alex: Hmm... any characters springing to mind?
Christian: I dunno Alex. Haven't seen anything on social media that makes me believe people even thought about this.
Amanda: They hired me back for season two, which means there will be sex. I’m the reason it’s in season one.
Q: Why did you name the show Arcane?  When you were first developing the show who would you say was the character that changed the most from how you originally developed/ thought of them? Did Jinx and Vander have a close relationship? Does Jinx actually see Vander as someone who betrayed Silco?
Christian: Magic ties a lot of our world together. Every region, every champion has a different relationship with it.
Viktor for sure. I kinda just wanna leave it there. ;P
They weren't as close as Vander and Vi were. Vander was the person that Vi looked up, whereas she was the person Powder looked up to. I don't think that Jinx necessarily blamed Vander for what happened, though she does think (now) that Vander chose wrong.
Q: I want to ask if there's anything you can share about the Firelights! I'd definitely love to know more about them and how they were conceptualised, some more information about the members if possible, perhaps even word on their involvement on next season?
I think the idea of "Hope for a better Zaun" is one of the core tenets of Ekko, and I'm certainly proud to see that he has a group that is actively working towards that goal. I'm satisfied with where you've taken his storyline and I can definitely say you guys completely understand him!
Christian: Appreciate that! The firelights were inspired by and named after the green insects that you see flying around especially in episode 107. They come out of nowhere, swooping in, zipping through the air, and they look cool. :)
It happens easily that a place like Zaun gets written off because dangerous experiments and shady streets scare people off. In many ways, however, it is the kind of place where a truly revolutionary technology or idea can find purchase. So if you ask me, Zaun really is the place where the true magic can happen, and Ekko totally gets that and wants to enable and amplify that.
Q: Who was the easiest character to write and who was the hardest?
Christian: Hardest I'd say Silco and Jinx. They're both stylized in very different ways. Alex is the specialist for their dialogue on our team.
Alex: They all give you trouble here and there, but I would say on average Heimerdinger and Jayce were easier to write than Silco and Jinx.
Q: Will we ever get to see a younger silco and vander pre betrayal? Also any flashbacks to silco being a dad to powder when he first took her in?
Christian: You will, in fact.
Amanda (Reply to Christian): Spoiler! In the episode that always makes me cry.
Q: Will we ever learn about why Vander betrayed Silco? What was Silco planning on doing after he gained the Nation of Zaun? Would he have attempted to improve Zaun? Even though Silco is dead, can we expect to see more of him in s2? (ex. Flashbacks and mentions of him from other characters?) What are your opinions on Silco overall? Did you expect to see him as such a fan favorite?
Christian: Silco was a very special character. During the early phase of development, we talked about everyone's chip on their shoulder. Silco's was being "the dirty little thing". Never being enough. Always having topside look down on him. He could never quite past it, and if it would take his life to escape that existence, so be it. He had nothing to lose.
At the end of the season, he realizes far too late what it's like to have something to lose. Just like Vander, radical notions begin to stumble when your loved ones are threatened by your ideology. "It all makes sense now, brother."
I don't think he had a plan after the Nation of Zaun. It was an impossible pipe dream from the beginning, and if you ask me, achieving it would probably have ruined him.
We did not expect Silco to become such a fan favorite. Jason Spisak did such a wonderful job, it's hard to put in words just how transformative his performances have been.
Alex: We've always liked the relationship between Silco and Vander. It's the original rift that informs the generational split between the sisters. I'll just say, it's a story we'd like to tell.
I think Silco always wanted to improve Zaun, though there are always trade-offs to progress. To me, the real question is who would have helped him realize this vision, and what would have mattered to him at that point in time.
Silco is one of those characters you can get addicted to writing, but I don't think we ever expected him to be such a fan favorite. It really blew my mind when some people engaged with him more as a father figure than Vander.
Amanda (Add onto Alex’s post): To me, the story of Arcane at its core is whether or not the sisters will repeat the sins of their fathers. As Vi and Jinx’s story unfolds we hope you’ll recognize the parallels between Vander and Silco’s story and be desperate for them to take a different path, impossible as that path seems to be.
Q: Did you begin writing the story with the idea of having an antagonistic corrupting/nurturing force to serve as the catalyst for who Jinx would become, or was he developed gradually over time as the right piece to fill what the script needed?
Alex: We knew fairly early that we wanted to have, as Christian put it, a non-champion "svengali" to oppose Vander in the first three episodes. The world felt small when every character happened to be a champion, and we liked the idea of the principle villain being someone who needed others to fight for him. It felt so oppositional to League.
However, we didn't initially plan for Silco to have such a presence throughout the latter half of the season, that developed over time. In fact, we were nervous about giving him too much screen time once the story with Vi and Jinx was rolling. I do remember us asking ourselves right up to the end whether or not Silco would have traded Jinx for his vision of Zaun.
Q: What's a piece of advice you'd give to people trying to create interesting/dynamic characters and stories?
Alex: For me, the best moments come from characters when they surprise you. It's easy to feel omnipotent/omniscient when you are a storyteller. You're usually one step ahead. But sometimes, as you brainstorm all the ways a character might handle a situation or argue a point, they say or do something you hadn't considered. In the best instances, it knocks you off-kilter as much as their opponent in the scene/story. I guess this is all to say, strive to make your characters cleverer than you.
Q: Which scene in the show holds a special meaning to you and why? Possibly because you relate to it personally or there's a funny story behind it from during production.
Alex: There are many, but I'll call out Silco's monologue at the beginning of 103 "Ever wonder what it's like to drown?"This used to be the opening to the show. It sort of encapsulates the core of the story. I think after writing this with Christian, and hearing Jason's performance, it was the first time he looked at me and thought "you might actually be able to write." Of course, I quickly disabused him of this fantasy.
Amanda (Add onto Alex’s post): And it’s my fault that this beautiful sequence is no longer the opening of the show. But I love what it adds to the gut punch of episode 103 and I’ll defend that choice until the day I die. (Even if Alex doesn’t exactly agree with me…)
Q: How did you decide the tone for Arcane? It has adult themes and topics but presents them with such maturity despite being seemingly high fantasy. Was the tone decided from the beginning?
Alex: Tone was the original looming question. We decided we needed to see Vi and Jinx in their younger years as sisters in order to feel the loss and yearning as they struggled to reconnect, but this also made the show feel more "kiddy." I remember calling Christian after having an epiphany that our tone could be like that of the edgier anime I appreciated growing up - no idea why this didn't occur sooner, it just hadn't felt as much like League at the time. For me, anime straddled a tonal line unlike anything else at the time - the bridge from childhood to adulthood.
Once that locked into place, it got a lot easier for me to find the story, although you're always wondering if this or that moment pushes too far. The scene where Singed injects Jinx with Shimmer gave us pause for a little while.
Some anime refs: Hellsing, Berserk, Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Gungrave
Q: One question: Who came up with the idea, for Jinx Vs Ekko fight scene, it was a work of art, absolutely surreal experience, so many emotions and exposition in such small amount of time. And also on the topic : how in the world did You managed to fit so, so, so many of such scenes in only nine episodes? I mean, on top of my head, flare scene, Victors run and the climax! So much emotions on screen, i couldn't handle it.
Alex: The credit goes almost entirely to Fortiche and the music team on the bridge fight. 107 felt like a fulcrum-point in their authorship of the series - weaving their music video superpowers with the storytelling.
How we crammed so many scenes in? We wrote scripts that were too long and then battled in editing to save as many darlings as possible. (Slightly joking, but slightly not.)
Thanks for watching!
Q: Now that it's been a year, and you've been able to properly see the praise and criticism of the series, is there anything you wish you did differently? Did you expect it to blow up as much as it did?
Alex: My strategy is more to try to learn and adapt as opposed to rue the missed opportunities. Luckily, I'd say a lot of what we saw in reactions to season 1 aligned well with what we were focused on in season 2, though we did adjust emphasis here and there when we felt like fans had a strong connection with certain beats.
I don't think we ever expected it to have quite the reception it had, though we were always very confident in the quality of our voice actors' performances and the artistic brilliance of Fortiche.
Q: Will we get to know more about the mysterious wizard, who saved Jayce and his mom, in upcoming seasons?
Alex: There will be magic.
Q:  I wanted to ask if you could share a list of the champs you worked on during your time on a League, since not many people may know what you worked on prior to Arcane but I loved the creative AMAs you used to host on the forums lime for Zyra and Varus.
Alex: When I was on League, champions would always have an assigned writer/creative focused principally on their story and thematics, but it takes a village to develop a champion, so it would be disingenuous to take credit for many aspects of what they became. Some of my favorite contributions were on champions to whom I wasn't assigned. Sometimes the heart of a champion was present before they came across our desks. And then players could also imbue champions with characteristics/meaning that superseded our intentions (Blitzcrank springs to mind).
That caveat aside, some of the champs I worked on who are close to my heart despite murdering me on Summoner's Rift: Lee Sin, Graves, Leona, Caitlyn, Varus, Lulu, Thresh, Ahri, Riven, Draven, Viktor, Irelia, Nocturne, Jarvan, Karma, Maokai, Nautilus, Sejuani, Sona, Wukong, Vladimir...
There was also a lot of side content and legendary skins (I recently recalled Christian and I working together on the first PROJECT video.) It's important to note a lot of these characters were significantly deepened in updates and later content. Working at Riot is more about doing your best to carry and pass a baton than being an auteur.
Q: will we ever see vi's abs
Alex: I'll put in a request.
Q: When you where writing it, did you have any moments where everything just connected and you thought “wow! I can’t believe we’re this clever!”? If so, when?
Alex: I think what would happen more often is that I would see the end result of something I wrote and think "Wow! Thank heavens Fortiche, the voice actors, and all the other teams managed to make me look like something other than a blathering idiot!"
Of course... no one can stop me all the time.
Q: I believe Riot executives have realized the importance of Arcane to the company, does their support make production easier than before? Will season 2 come out quicker because of that?
Alex: Their support is a huge part of why Arcane has the time, trust, and resources to hit the quality we aim for. People who've worked in the industry always tell us how rare and special our situation is. However, I'd say that extra trust is more likely to mean the season would incubate for more time, rather than less.We know you're all waiting though.
We always try to find the sweet spot between bringing you content and trying to improve/polish it.
Q: In the scene where Finn tries persuading Sevika into betraying Silco, Finn mentioned something about "bigger fish than silco". I feel like this was potential foreshadowing to who will fill the power vacuum Silco left, but I'm not sure. Was Finn referencing someone within the scope of Season 1, or was he talking about someone/something we'll see in the future? (cause it makes me wanna think he was referencing Urgot potentionally)
At the end of the Bridging the Rift, y'all mentioned wanting to expand to other Runeterra regions in animation. Will these new series be anthology to Arcane, or will it be directly/partially carrying on some of Arcane's plotlines?
When and if there are more animated shows outside of Piltover and Zaun, is Fortiche willing to make these projects or can we see different animation studios throwing their hat in the ring? (ie Japanese studio animates Ionia series)
Alex:
Heh, I wondered if this stood out to anyone. There is someone he's referencing, who does capitalize on Silco's death, though I don't know if this will be apparent in season 2. It's one of the things we wanted to connect, but didn't feel was important enough to sacrifice some of the other scenes we wanted.
No specifics to report yet, but we do hope we'll be able to feel a connection between different stories we might tell, even if the camera moves to a very different place.
We love working with Fortiche and (hopefully) vice versa. We also want to explore a range of styles for League content. The question is how to best have the capacity to deliver stories regularly without diluting the quality.
Q: Will there be information about Orianna somewhere in Arcane?
Will there be hints in Arcane Season 2 about Warwick's creation?
Will Janna have any mention in Arcane?
Amanda: Yes! (not sure if a yes to all three or a specific one)

On November 15th, 1972, Elvis played the 15 000 seat Long Beach Civic Arena, for the second of two nights. The show was captured in an audience recording.
The Long Beach Press-Telegram;
"…He’s the King and even if he seemed a little bored with the audience; his routines trite, painfully coached and contrived, he was still good. Gone is the sneer. Gone, the gyrating hips - tucked neatly into a girdle cinch which he wore underneath a white jumpsuit with the silver studs and garish gold belt. Gone, too, is his wife. And Wednesday night, the King seemed a little bit melancholy, a little preoccupied with his own problems to really get into a dialogue with the audience… His voice is mature - grown rich with life. His smile is warm and magical…"
The Valley News;
"…Elvis Presley managed to present an inspiring performance last week at the Long Beach Arena despite lacklustre supporting acts and a distracting hard sell of his posters and records before the show and during intermission. He thrilled the 15,000-sell-out crowd with many of his early hits along with a few more recent songs… Elvis used everything in his bag of tricks including wildly swinging hips, exaggerated vocal style and even tossing several of his scarfs to the crowd. Still, despite the dramatics, Presley has a rock-gospel voice that can't be beat by any current singer. His showmanship only adds to the entertainment, helping to make Elvis concerts more than just a musical treat…Overall, Presley's portion of the show was quite enjoyable and was good enough to overcome the weakness of the concert package as a whole…"
Tumblr media
Marty Pasetta, an accomplished maker of entertainment and variety programmes for television, assigned by NBC to produce and direct the upcoming satellite TV special to be known as Aloha From Hawaii, was in town to get a feel for the performance before actually meeting with Elvis to discuss some set design and production matters. Pasetta found the concert musically strong but visually boring, not conducive to exciting television, that Elvis needed to move more on stage ('He stood there like a lump', Pasetta said in a later interview), and lose a little weight before the broadcast.
Having argued with a predictably belligerent Colonel Parker, Pasetta nervously presented his proposed stage and lighting designs during a slightly bizarre meeting with Elvis and some members of the Memphis Mafia, who wore sunglasses indoors and who prominently displayed their handguns. When Pasetta directly broached the tricky subject of Elvis’ weight, the excruciating tension dissolved into Elvis’ laughter, and a promise that he would do everything Pasetta asked of him to ‘make super magic for the tube, together’.
The tour concluded with three sold out shows at the Honolulu International Centre, Hawaii, on November 17th and 18th, where more details of the upcoming satellite show would be revealed. Elvis played just two more shows at the Long Beach Arena, with matinee and evening performances on April 25th, 1976.

ik i could just ask this on discord but it’s not urgent so i didn’t wanna like. @ you or anything
i just had a couple of steph questions!! first: i swear i remember reading that steph was a vegetarian or had attempted being vegetarian at some point? but i can’t find anything about it & am starting to think i imagined it shsjjdkdjd
& then my second question: is she mentioned to like. enjoy any particular shows/movies or genre of shows/TV??
(these are for fics but like… minor, single sentence details so. def not urgent <333)
also feel free to throw any other interesting steph facts at me!! esp things you feel ppl forget / leave out 💞
ahhh you know i am always happy to talk about my girl <333 it’s after midnight for me so i am sorry that this isn’t the most eloquent answer and i am sure i am forgetting some things (i’ll add to this later/dm you if anything hits me) but to the best of my knowledge:
yes, stephanie is/was(?) a vegetarian. not sure off the top of my head if it was stated anywhere else but i dug up this screenshot from batgirls #13.
Tumblr media
(for clarification this was when steph and cass body-swapped)
so no, you didn’t imagine it! though i can’t recall if she is still a vegetarian now, sorry.
now, your other question was much harder lol. i actually went and skimmed through all of the comics i have marked down as my favorite reads for her (+ a few non faves that i thought might have smth relevant) and most of the time when stephanie is shown watching tv or in front of a computer, all that’s ‘on’ is the news.
but! for you, livvy, i didn’t give up.
in nightwing #106, stephanie, cass and dick are all sitting down for their movie night. it’s cass’ pick that week but since steph did stay to watch, i think we can go on a limb and say that she at the very least doesn’t mind horror/sci-fi.
Tumblr media
i know that she’s also referenced harry potter throughout her comics— usually just a throwaway line like ‘accio’ so from there we can infer that she does like fantasy/adventure as well.
(took some digging but i found an example in batgirl #18)
Tumblr media
she’s referenced star trek as well, and at least in one conversation has been shown to know enough about game of thrones and star wars to joke about it with cass in batman: urban legends #5
i know that’s toeing the line of pulling at straws but given her more delved into interests in the action and fantasy genre i feel like it’s okay to assume that she does like those shows :) and if not who is going to tell me i’m wrong :) stephanie brown would love arya stark
Tumblr media
all of this to say that stephanie has been shown to enjoy and understand pop-culture. a good portion of her civilian friends are alt as well, and i’d go so far as to say that given that, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to assume that she would enjoy independent films.
she’s a self-confessed music snob with an interest in art. i could easily see that playing into a joy for film festivals.
Tumblr media
(didn’t include because this is already so long but after this panel — i already had it screenshot but i believe it comes from batgirls #1 — was her saying that they were looking for models and steph did consider it so i’d argue that she would enjoy fashion shows as well, though probably ones that are entirely student-run or by small designers)
(she hung that poster up on her bedroom wall next to her bed later on)
i know this isn’t covering everything, but i hope it’s enough to help!!! so excited to read your upcoming fics 🫶🏻 and as always if you have more steph questions or need a panel dug up, i am your gal

vault 33

***spoiler warning for ep. 1 of the Fallout tv show***
masterlist
struggling to find a husband in your vault, you submit yourself for the triennial trade, hoping to find a husband from your neighboring vault. you do, but he's not all he seems to be
wc: 2.1k
warnings: violence and death, fingering, vaginal sex, oral sex, clothed sex, unprotected sex, multiple rounds, multiple orgasms, san tries to kill the reader, reader kills san, angst, it gets pretty violent at the end
an: hello I'm back! kind of. its been quite a year and im considering this my redebut lol. this isn't my best work but I'm decently proud of it and I hope you enjoy!
taglist: @staytinyinmybpack @jeonride @becky4733107-blog @ignoretheskies
“My name is Y/n L/n,” your smile is nervous as the three council members before you stare impassively back. “I enjoy teaching ancient history and English. I participate regularly in intermediate phys ed, I do decently well in fencing, and I’ve been known to score moderately highly in riflery.”
Clearing your throat, you spared a glance at the motivational poster of Vault Boy behind the council. Do your best!
“In my free time, I like to garden, write short stories, and read any book I can get my hands on. I received a thorough check from our doctor, and I am proud to announce my reproductive organs are in excellent shape! Even so, I have not been able to find a suitable partner within our vault. Therefore, I submit myself as a candidate for intervault marriage in the upcoming triennial trade!.”
Your heart was beating rapidly as all three of the council members nodded, before lifting their wrists to tap at their pipboys. Within seconds, your own was dinging. You couldn’t believe your eyes as the message “Congratulations!” flashed across your own pipboy.
One week later and here you were, dressed in the standard white dress every woman in your vault had been married in. It was knee length with a flowy skirt that swished whenever you walked. With your name signed on the lining and the veil attached to your perfectly styled hair, you were off to the intervault door.
With your father, the overseer, at your side, you waited with the rest of Vault 33, eagerly anticipating the first glimpse in three years of your neighbor Vault 32. As the gatekeeper pushed the button, the big door labeled 32 moved towards you, then rolled to the side to reveal the people hidden behind.
They were… not what you had expected. In your own vault, everyone and everything was pristine, the example of a shining gem of a society. The people of Vault 32 were far from that. Their standard issue jumpsuits were worn and slightly faded. The people themselves weren’t necessarily dirty, but their hair was messy, their skin blotched and weathered, and their appearance all around unorthodox. Some of them had tattoos, even on the limited skin showing at their hands and necks. A few even had visible scars that looked like knife wounds, something that shouldn’t be possible in a vault.
But no matter. These people had been through hardship, losing their overseer and having a poor harvest this year. You did your best to keep the smile on your face as their overseer stepped forward to greet your father. The two made small talk, but you were not listening. All you could focus on was scanning the faces of the people before you, trying to figure out which one would be your new husband. There were lots of them, so it was hard to make out the faces of the people in the back. Everyone in the front seemed to be either too old or female so that ruled them out.
Finally, you grew tired of speculating. “Sooo, who am I marrying?”
The overseer of vault 32 smiled at you before gesturing at her people. “This is San.”
From the back of the crowd, a man walked forward. Unlike many of the other vault 32 dwellers, he had no visible scars. His head hung low, but other than that he looked like he belonged in your vault. He was handsome, with a chiseled face, a strong frame, and a full head of thick black hair.
One of the women behind you whistled under her breath.
“Let’s get this show on the road!” Your dad exclaimed, and everyone began to move.
In the hall, you and San traded vows. They were standard really, nothing too exciting since you didn’t know each other. But that first kiss… that first kiss was great. It was relatively chaste but the feel of his plush lips against yours and the intensity in his eyes before and after left you heated and ready for your first night together.
San didn’t speak much after that. Instead he focused on the food provided, devouring almost everything on his plate quickly, as if he hadn’t eaten in weeks. Even as he was stuffing his face, you couldn’t help but admire his features. His dimples added to his charm and the way his hair fell into his eyes made him look younger. His youthful but handsome appearance was doing things to you, lighting a fire deep inside.
“So, San,” you began, “what is your sperm count?”
San choked a bit on the bite of food he had just swallowed. Coughing a few times, he eventually croaked out,  “Um, high.”
“Ah good, my reproductive organs are in great shape so we should have a fruitful marriage!” your smile was wide, although your happiness was dashed slightly by the noncommittal “yeah” San gave. Focus on the positive, Y/n.
A few hours had passed and by this point you were mingling, talking to some of your friends and nibbling on jello cake, when a hand met your waist. Looking up, your eyes met San’s.
“Show me to my new home?” He had a sly smile on his face.
A light flush reached your cheeks as you nodded at him with a wide smile. With that, the two of you were off. Cheers followed you as you led him down the winding hallways to your very own unit. Pressing the button, the large door rose to reveal the one room unit you’d be sharing for the foreseeable future.
“This is us!” you led the way inside, eager to show him all the amenities available to you both as he shut the door behind you. “We’ve got every kitchen appliance you could think of, a full shower, they even got us a little welcome home basket!”
You turned back to face him but your happy smile quickly turned to shock at seeing him standing there, completely naked with a hand stroking his impressive dick. His face had that sly smile back on it.
Regaining your composure, you smiled again. “Okey dokey!”
With that you moved towards him, connecting your lips as your hands roamed his body. San’s tongue invaded your mouth as your hands traced his abs. Gosh, he was so hot it was making your knees weak. His hands reached around to grab your ass as he spun you so your back was against the wall.
One of your hands found his hair, tugging on the stands as his lips traveled to your neck, nipping and sucking on your pulse point, forcing a sigh from your lips as your eyes closed to enjoy the sensation.
All too soon, he stepped away from you, his hooded eyes meeting yours. “I want to fuck you on the table.”
A grin crept onto your face as you removed your undergarments. “Then lie down big boy.”
San’s devastatingly handsome smirk matched yours as he laid back on the table, lazily stroking his dick and watching you walk towards him, still wearing your veil and wedding dress. With ease, you climbed onto the table, straddling his waist.
Sinking down, you let out a sigh that matched his groan as you took him all the way in. Gosh, this felt good. He filled you in the best way, reaching deep inside you and brushing past that spongy spot that made your mind blank.
You only allowed yourself a few seconds to enjoy being full before beginning to move. Rolling your hips up and down as your fingers left scratches on his chest. His hands came to your waist to help you move even faster on top of him. The pace was incredible, easily the best sex you’d ever had.
San’s hips started pumping up into you on every downstroke you made, causing your eyes to flutter shut as you gasped out a moan. His hands disappeared from your waist, sneaking under your skirt where one grasped your thigh and the other made contact with your clit.
You doubled over as his fingers started working you in tight circles. Letting out gasping cries of his name, your rhythm faltered and he took over.
Holding you to him, San stood up off the table before laying you out on it, your hips positioned at the edge. He started thrusting with a vengeance as his fingers still circled your clit at a wondrous pace. Your back arched off the table as your moans increased in volume while your orgasm crept up on you.
“San- I-” your mouth dropped open when he switched the angle of his thrusts to perfectly hit your g-spot. He noticed your reaction and kept that angle, jerking gasps and whines out of you with every thrust in. You were so close, teetering on the edge of what was surely about to be the best orgasm you had ever experienced.
“Cum for me, Y/n. Come on be a good girl,” San’s crude words and the increase of pressure on your clit from his fingers pushed you past the breaking point.
Your body locked up, interior muscles spasming around him as he groaned and gave a few more jerky thrusts before spilling inside you. Meanwhile, colors were exploding behind your eyes as you rode out the waves of pleasure that were overtaking your conscious mind.
Panting, both of you stayed connected as you came down. With your eyes closed, you rested, relishing the fading high and the boneless feeling of good sex. Until San was pulling you up from the table.
“Wha-” you could barely get a word out as he spun you around, pulling down the zipper of your dress, leaving you standing there naked as it fell to your feet.
“San-” again you tried to ask what he was doing but he was pulling you to the bed and tossing you into the middle before crawling in after you. His hands quickly found your thighs, forcing them apart as his face descended between them. You let out a strangled gasp as his tongue made contact with your clit and two of his fingers made their way inside you.
Your hands gripped the sheets below you as his tongue traced circles around you, relighting the fire in your stomach.
“God, fuck,” one of your hands jumped to grip his hair as he introduced a third finger inside you. San was moving fast, and his ministrations were quickly bringing you to your second orgasm of the night. With a stuttered cry, you came again, your hand clenching in his hair as he worked you through it.
Closing your eyes and relaxing as you came down, San flopped next to you. The two of you laid in silence. You allowed yourself to close your eyes, breathing deeply and anticipating the exciting new way your life was going to change for the better.
Your eyes were drawn open by San standing. He stared at the fake balcony for a moment, before wiping his dick clean on the curtains. Your mouth dropped open in shock as you watched him. He pulled on his boxers before heading to the sink and filling a flower vase with water. He chugged the whole thing. You watched him cautiously, quietly climbing out of bed to grab your pipboy and flipping to the radiation detector. It clicked furiously as you pointed it at San. He was still chugging water.
“You’re from the surface,” you whispered. San froze before he turned to look at you. There was a beat of silence between you before he was lunging at you. You ran trying to open the door but he grabbed you, throwing you down, causing you to slide along the linoleum floor, slamming into the kitchen cabinets. As you caught your breath, you looked up at him, only to find him now holding a long, curved blade he must have hidden in his jumpsuit.
“Sorry, babe,” he approached you, “this has still been the best day of my life.”
You scrambled to your feet, looking for a weapon, but it was no use. He was on you, plunging the knife into your side and lifting you up so you sat on the kitchen counter, gasping for breath.
You hands were desperately searching for anything to protect yourself as he leaned in to kiss your neck one last time. Luckily, your hands made contact with the vase he was previously drinking out of. You snatched it up, swinging it and breaking it over his head as he gasped out in pain.
With one final swipe, you drug the shattered edge across his throat, causing him to sputter as he took staggering steps away from you, before he collapsed on the floor.
With shaking hands, you pulled the knife from your side as you took deep breaths.
“Raiders.”

Glee star Darren Criss dispels SAG-AFTRA strike myth ahead of Australian tour
Glee star Darren Criss has weighed in on the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike in Hollywood and confirmed that it won’t impact the set list for his upcoming Australian tour which kicks off in September. “I've done theatre stuff and TV stuff, I've done music of my own, I've written for other things, music from YouTube days. All of that will be there,” he confirms to 9Honey Celebrity. "I am sort of this living playlist of a lot of songs that have been featured throughout my career. [The tour] is a bit of everything.”
Best known for his role as Blaine Anderson on Glee, Criss even teases that a few of the most iconic songs he performed on the show will be on his Aussie set list. The Emmy and Golden Globe winner first headed Down Under in 2018 and promises fans will get everything from "whacky synth pop", to jazz and even a few tracks from his TV and Broadway career when he returns. Despite starting in hit shows like like The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story and films, Criss can’t say much about his most famous projects due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strikes in Hollywood, which he stands in solidarity with.
He can, however, dispel a common myth about the strikes which have been making headlines in the US and here in Australia. "This isn't an actor saying, 'We want more money'. These are workers saying, 'We deserve to be treated more fairly,” he says.
"Surprise, surprise; big corporations tend to take a big cut of things that perhaps they shouldn't, when looking at the disparity in wealth between their employees and the bosses,” Criss continues. A-listers like Jack Black, Daniel Radcliffe, Aubrey Plaza, Vanessa Hudgens, Hilary Duff and more have been photographed on the picket lines supporting the strike recently. But there has been some confusion about the strike as many everyday Aussies assume all Hollywood actors make bank.
Though Criss is by no means a spokesperson for SAG-AFTRA or other actors on strike, he says that’s just not the case. "There are actors that do make a significant amount of money that are in the minority of performers, and there is a huge percent of actors that do not fall under that category," he explains. According to a statement from SAG-AFTRA released earlier this month, the current state of the US entertainment industry has made it increasingly difficult for most actors to achieve a middle-class lifestyle.
"For people on the outside looking in, this seems like a classic case of a disparity in wealth," Criss continues. "But this is not about some of the more famous names that you would associate with making millions of dollars... the livelihood of so many people is being threatened." Most SAG-AFTRA members are small-time actors, not multi-millionaire movie stars, and they need Hollywood contracts to keep up with the rapidly changing entertainment industry. At the end of the day, this strike is just like any other labour dispute between employing entities and workers. This one just happens to have an all-star cast.
"If we were painters or something, a dispute between us and our employers and our union is not going to make headline news because the people on the picket lines aren't people that are on posters in your bedroom,” he says. Those are the same people across now counts among his many famous friends, his Instagram brimming with selfies snapped with the likes of Cher, Daniel Radcliffe and Lawrence Fishburne. One throwback snap from his last trip Down Under even shows the singer and actor enjoying an NRL game with Joe Jonas, both of them draped in Penrith Panthers scarves. Though it’s been years since the snap was taken, Criss is excited to return to Australia, a nation that played a pivotal role in his early success when A Very Potter Musical first went viral.
“Australia really drove our [YouTube] channel to a place where we were like ‘holy s—t, this might be something. We might have a company on our hands,’” he reveals. That success inspired Starkid Productions, the theatre company he co-founded and continues to play an active role in today. “The numbers that came from Australia were so staggering at that time that I have always had a really special place in my heart for Australia and for Starkid.” Darren Criss returns to Australia for a five-city national tour starting September 3, 2023. Tickets to all shows go on sale on Thursday, 27 July 2023.
