Consider this my farewell to Universe Falls. You don’t need to read it if you don’t want to, maybe this was mainly written for myself, but, well, I needed a way to say goodbye. Thank you, MiniJenn, for creating this fic that helped me through my teenage years. Thank you to everyone who made up its community. I will never forget you, any of you. I wish everyone luck, with every project they take on next. Atop the roof of the Mystery Shack, Dipper Pines looked to the sky, studying its clouds and patterns, pondering all he had learned and feared throughout his latest summer. Things would be different, from now on, he could tell. He wasn’t sure how, but… he knew, deep down, his journey, finally, was at peace. After all the suffering, all the fighting, he was victorious. He could be happy. And….

Dipper looked to his left, where Stonemason, now in his own body, was also sharing his look of contentment. They’d been enemies, reluctant allies, and now… friends? Clones? Brothers? It was hard to describe the bond they had, but neither of them would give it up for the world.

Stonemason caught his glance, turning his head towards his counterpart, his serious gaze melting into a warm chuckle. “Thinking about how everything will be different from now on as well, are you?” he asked in that voice, the one where you could never tell if he was trying to put on a vaguely British accent to sound smarter, or if that was simply how he naturally ended up speaking.

“I think so,” Dipper admitted, looking at the ground before turning his gaze to the sky. “I think…. I think we’re done, I guess? Like, as in all the threats are… gone. So, I-I think--” “That we won?” Stonemason said, cutting him off, gazing up to the sky as well. “… After every struggle, thinking back on them,” Dipper added on, trying to process his thoughts, “… its just…. why do I remember the good, instead of the bad? Like, I, we, w-we suffered, you know that. We suffered, and were in pain, yet now….. now, after all of it, … I just think about the Summerweens, the movie nights, and training days, the--”

“For once in my life I don’t want to know why, Dipper,” Stonemason replied, cutting him off once more. “I can’t place it either, but I’m happy to have faced it all, the good and the bad, with you, and everyone else.”

Dipper smiled, pulling his brother into a hug, looking out to the sky with him. Stonemason smiled as well, watching as the night sky began to roll in. One chapter has closed, and yet…. “And whatever comes next, no matter what, we’ll face it together as well,” they both said together, allowing their fears and pain to melt away. Goodbye Universe Falls, thank you for everything. If I ever need to check in, I know where to find your chapters, just west of wierd.

The Mystery Kids

So Yeah, Instead of Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla from Smosh, Charlie the Drunk Guinea Pig was found by Connie Maheswaran, By the way, they had said so themselves: they were a team. Dipper Pines, Steven Quartz Universe, Connie Maheswaran, and Mabel Pines, plus Charlie the Drunk Guinea Pig: the Mystery Kids…. Their bond was not one that could be broken so easily, not by any arduous sword training, paranormal monsters, mystery solving, violent Homeworld Gems, or even all-powerful dream demons. It was so much stronger than all of those things combined. And through that bond, the drunk guinea pig and all four of the kids knew, without a doubt in any of their minds, that they could be ready to stand against anything in their way as long as they were standing together.

Hhhh don’t mind me, I’m just feeling eternally soft for four of my favorite kiddos. Even so look at me finally participating in my own fucking 5 year celebration! Here’s a lil doodle of the kiddos for week 1. I was gonna draw all of their fusions but I got lazy and decided to just go with Stonipbel cause its been awhile since I've drawn them and I love them.

Shows you should save physically immediately

Over the Garden Wall -- It's being pulled from HBO Max on August 31 and knowing HBO, there's a chance it'll be pulled sooner. *I have now made a Google Drive of all the episodes of OTGW. Please, please, please, PLEASE, save these on a physical device.

The Owl House -- Disney has tried to bury this show many times (giving it a weird release schedule, cutting the budget, etc) and has even cancelled the show. Also, Disney+ is going to nuke their catalogue soon and I doubt TOH will survive*I have now also saved all the episodes of TOH. Click here for the posts with all of the episodes

Amphibia -- I know less about the behind the scenes BS than TOH but Amphibia was screwed over by Disney mainly by poor promotion. Also since one of the protagonist is openly bisexual*, like TOH, I really can't imagine this would survive.*Amphibia has also been saved. Go here for the post with all the episodes.

Steven Universe -- Cartoon Network cancelled Steven Universe and gave it a weird release schedule, it has also just been pulled from HBO Max.

Gravity Falls -- Once again, Disney+ is going to nuke their catalogue at some point in the future and between Wendy being canonically bi, Sheriff Blubs and Deputy Durland being in a relationship, and Alex Hirsch (being the amazing man that he is) constantly calling Disney out on their BS, I imagine that Disney would be more than willing to nuke Gravity Falls. *I’ve also saved Gravity Falls now go to the main post here to see all the episodes.

and most importantly

Every single show, book, game, fanfiction, movie, etc you've ever loved

We now know that at any moment's notice, streaming services can and will just nuke their catalogue without hesitation. If it's digital, it can be removed and there's a likely chance you'll never see it again.

So, please take some time to save anything you love on an external device. It could be a box set (it can be official or fan-made one), a USB, or anything.

If you have a physical copy of something, it's yours forever and no one can take that away from you.

*Edit because I’ve seen some confusion about this. Read this again, it’s “one of the protagonists” not “the protagonist.” Sasha is the one who’s bi, Anne’s sexuality hasn’t been confirmed.

Also in addition to this, people have reblogged this to say Steven Universe is still on HBO. Since I don’t have HBO, I’ve been going off of what people have been saying and I’ve seen it mentioned that HBO was taking off SU. You should still save it though.

The funniest thing in the world to me is when people write mermaids that are bothered by humans eating fish. Like do you think fish don’t eat each other? The ocean is full of little freaks that will eat whatever or whoever the fuck will fit in their mouths. If the mermaids haven’t been eating fish this whole time what do you think they’ve been eating? If the answer is humans, that doesn’t make it any less funny. They’ll eat the species that looks like the top half of them but won’t eat a species that looks like the bottom half? Peak comedy.

Steven got his head out from the dirt, looking around the town. It was chaos, destruction, the screams of citizens wailed in the distance.

Bill had done it, he had brought about weirdmageddon, the skies were red like blood and Bills pyramid castle floated above the town in superiority

Was there anything that could save them? Any Hero who could come in there time of need?

Then Steven saw in the distance....A figure, in a white dress. The figure had long pink hair...The figure opened it's angelic eyes...

A hero had arrived to there aid! A chaos God to fight a Chaos God

The battle was epic and legendary, with Bill and Uncle Grandpa using there omnipotence and weirdness against one another
