they have a talk, and hanjae finally talks about his feelings.. for once | ft. choi soobin & nam hanjae | wc: 0.6k

"so.. did you make your decision yet?"

soobin asks, half his body on top of hanjae's. he barely lifts his head to stare at the older, and then places it back down onto the practice floor. "about what?" soobin furrows his eyebrows, scoffing at hanjae's lack of interest for his question.

he flicks his forehead.

"ow! what's your problem!"

"you can't avoid the topic forever!"

"why can't you let me!?" hanjae exclaims, he pushes soobin's face away, making him whine. "i don't want to talk about it.." he mutters, rolling over and pressing his cheek onto the practice room floor.

soobin groans, lifting himself up and placing all of his weight on hanjae once again. "seriously, you don't have to go if you don't want to" he says, staring hanjae straight in the face.

the younger pauses, biting his inner cheek, his face contorts into one of uncomfortableness, this topic isn't one that he's so keen on talking about, but here he is. "i don't know, hyorin isn't even in the country and just being with them on my own is a disturbing thought to me".

soobin hums, simply staring again. he knew all about hanjae's parents and their.. horrible way of deciding to treat their kids, their the ones to blame for their children's mental issues, the ones who made them want to run away, but the relationship between them and their two children has always been a little complicated..

"i don't know.. i feel pretty bad for not visiting" hanjae mutters, poking his tongue through his cheek, and soobin pouts, grabbing his face and turning it so he faces him. "you shouldn't feel that way".

hanjae snickers. "you need to stop worrying about me, i'll be fine" soobin frowns at the words, how could he not worry about him? the only thing on his mind at the moment was.. well— worrying about hanjae.

"don't give me that look".

"you can't order me around, i'm older than you" soobin states.

"by seven days".

"still older" soobin gives a cocky smile, and hanjae scoffs, sticking out his tongue at him. "you look like an idiot".

hanjae makes a look fo fake offense, turning away from soobin. "that's so mean to say to your boyfriend" he emphasizes the word 'boyfriend', and soobin's face scrunches in fake disgust.

"we've been dating for four months".

"you were in love with me for three years and just now became brave enough to say anything!" hanjae exclaims, and soobin scoffs, completely taken aback. i mean it's not like hanjae was wrong but to say it so blatantly is so mean! he did the same thing too! does he remember that?

"you're so stupid" soobin mumbles, now laying completely on top of him.

hanjae pouts. "that's mean".

"didn't you just insult me?"

hanjae gives him a look of disbelief, then gives a small laugh. "no, i have no idea what your talking about, i'm innocent" he gives his most innocent of smiles, then laughs once again, laying his head onto the floor.

"idiot".

"you love me".

soobin lays his head down onto his chest, listening to the beating of his heart. "sure i do" he says, getting himself comfortable on top of the younger. he reaches for hanjae's hand, and starts playing with his fingers, humming to himself.

"so your not gonna go visit your parents?" soobin mutters, playing with the charms on hanjae's bracelet. "at least.. not now?" he clarifies, looking up at his partner.

hanjae stays silent for a moment, his thoughts straying to places he'd never consider actually talking about out loud. "i think i'll wait for a moment.. i'll talk to hyo about it first" he runs his fingers through soobin's hair, staring at the older like he was madly in love with him.

oh wait.. he was.

"you can always.. talk to me.. okay?" hanjae blinks at the words, a smile spreading across his face without any real thought. soobin just continues listening to his heartbeat, comfortable where he is, lying on top of him. "don't be afraid too".

"i'm not afraid anything".

"uh huh, sure".

l/n y/n. since his bestselling debut only one year ago, everybody knew his name - including enhypen’s own nishimura riki.

he doesn’t notice the smirk on sunghoon’s face as he watches your showcase. you effortlessly glide across the stage as you continue your routine. from his position backstage he was able to charm his way into having your raw vocals played clearly over the metronome for him to hear.

your stage finishes all too quickly. though niki may be biased, he would listen to your voice for the rest of the night, even as the hours continue on and the stars give way to the sun - everyone else be damned.

there’s a glint of sweat on your jawline as you pant. the cameraman stalling in front of your face signals the end of your performance. the shot lingers for a few seconds before the broadcast cuts away to an ad break. the cameras stay rolling on the monitor backstage, letting niki watch as you smile, patting one of your dancer’s on the shoulder before rushing off stage.

he’s broken out of his trance by jay placing his hand on his shoulder. he jumps, face flushing as he notices he’s been in public - in front of his members - this entire time and not in the safety of hiding underneath his blankets when he usually admires you and your stages.

“enjoying the show?” jay asks.

“he has literal heart eyes,” sunghoon laughs.

“i have to admit, y/n is an incredible performer,” sunoo comments. niki swats his hyungs away, face still burning as he walks over to sit next to the other boy.

“at least someone here agrees with me,” he mumbles.

jungwon chuckles under his breath, reaching across the couch to pat his knee. “we might run into him later. you should talk to him.”

“you want him to talk to y/n?” jake leans over the edge behind sunoo. “he can’t even look at the guy without blushing!”

“especially not if you keep teasing him for it.” heeseung looks up from over his phone. “y/n’s a nice guy. he’s close with kai. i’ve only heard good things.”

“i agree with heeseung-hyung,” niki sighs, leaning back against the couch.

“you know we’re just teasing,” jake says, reaching over to pat his back. “we want the best for you. besides, you never know what could happen.”

niki rolls his eyes, turning away in a poor attempt to hide the still-growing blush spreading across his face. though he’s sure the others notice it they don’t say anything, giving him a short reprieve from their incessant teasing since the first time he saw you.

with their attention elsewhere, niki’s thoughts wander. he knows so much about you - at least about what you’ve told the public. he could list your favorite movies and coffee order by heart. he knows the lyrics to each of your songs, fanchants included. he knows about each “imperfection” on your face, your favorite color to dye your hair, the childhood scars on your knees and elbows.

even with his everlasting knowledge about you, niki still doesn’t know if you’re aware of him. if you know his name or would recognize his face. would he fade into the crowd, just another idol you bowed to at an award show? what if he asked for your number? would you say no? even if you did say yes, what if you don’t click as friends?

but… what if you do? what if it leads to something more? what if-

his stream of consciousness is cut off by jungwon patting his shoulder. “hey, we’re being called to sit down in the audience.”

niki nods, following behind the rest of the group to their seats. he settles between heeseung and jay as they prepare for a long night of sitting perfectly still surrounded by a million cameras on all sides. at least he wasn't being filmed when he blushed through your entire performance.

finally, after what feels like hours of waiting, the award show ends. people drift around, rushing through various different hallways and dressing rooms around him.

niki wanders through the building, searching for enhypen's dressing room. in hindsight, trying to find the bathroom alone during an award show filled with hundreds of different people probably wasn’t the best idea.

he gasps as his shoulder hits someone, arm reaching around to grab their waist before you both tumble to the ground together. you wince as you hit the unforgiving floor below. niki hovers over you, wide eyes staring into your own. “y/n?” he scrambles to his feet, holding out a hand for you. “i’m so sorry, i didn’t see you there.”

“it’s okay, it was also my fault.” you chuckle. “niki, right?”

“i- yeah.”

“i’ve seen you perform a few times, your dancing is incredible! and i love your voice.” niki’s blush deepens as he nervously laughs.

“thank you. um, i hope this isn’t too weird, but i was hoping… i could get your number? you know, so we can be friends? if you want to, i mean-”

“of course you can.” niki pulls his phone out of his pocket, quickly unlocking it before handing it over to you. you're nonchalant as you lean back against the wall, typing a special string of numbers into the device. “you know, honestly, i was hoping you were gonna ask me out on a date.”

niki freezes, looking up at you. “really?”

you nod. “i like you. i have for a while. i was hoping i could take you out sometime. there’s a cat cafe nearby that i go to on my day off, if you’re up for it.”

“yeah!" niki pauses. he feels like he's on fire, though he's not sure how much of that is because of you or because he just embarrassed himself in a busy hallway. "yeah, that… that sounds great." his voice drops, nearly to a whisper you finish typing,. he takes his phone back, albeit with shakier hands. "i’ve really liked you for a while now too.”

you smile brightly at him. he can feel his ears burning. he’s grateful when you don’t say anything about it. “does tomorrow work for you? we can meet at the cafe.”

“tomorrow works perfectly.”

you step a little closer to niki. now he can see you in more detail. how the small black eyeliner and light brown makeup around your eyes accentuates your features. how the corners of your pink-tinted lips remain quirked upwards in a small smile. how alluring your eyes are as he looks into them.

you lean in to press a quick kiss against his cheek before pulling away. wide brown eyes blink back at you. niki can hear someone calling for you from down the hallway, cutting the moment short. “i’ll see you tomorrow!” you call, rushing over to a man who he presumes is your manager.

niki remains where he’s standing for a few seconds, processing everything. in the span of a few minutes he had met you, gotten your number, and been kissed by you.

he shoves his phone back into his pocket, smiling to himself as he finally makes his way back to enhypen’s dressing room. his hyungs are spread throughout the room, patiently awaiting for their car to be prepared so they can head back to their dorm.

“what’s with the blush?” jay asks, looking up at him from his position on the couch.

“did you see him again, loverboy?” sunghoon teases.

“he kissed me.”

heeseung’s head almost whips in his direction, staring at him. “what? when?”

“i ran into him in the hallway and he asked me out. and then he kissed my cheek.”

jay smiles, patting his back. “that’s my boy!”

“congratulations,” jungwon smiles.

niki nods, still giddy from the kiss. “thank you.”

“if he’s this flustered from a cheek kiss imagine how he’ll be when y/n kisses him for real,” sunghoon chuckles.

“lay off of him for a while,” jake nudges the other boy. “he just scored a date! at least let him be excited.”

“i’m just saying,” sunghoon defends, reaching forwards to ruffle niki’s hair. he flinches, whining as he pushes sunghoon’s hand away. “in all seriousness, we’re proud of you. i hope the date goes well.”

niki smiles. “i hope so too.”

it's nearly midnight by the time they finally arrive back at their dorm. niki sighs, finally back in the comfort of his bed. he leans back against the sheets, the tension in his body relaxing slightly.

his phone vibrating on the table next to him pulls him out of his tired haze. slightly irritated, he rolls onto his side to grab the device. what could be so important that he needs to be contacted at this hour?

his annoyance immediately fades as he turns his phone on. there are two messages from an unknown number.

niki sits up, clutching his phone in his hand. he stares at the screen before it turns black from inactivity. excitement courses through him as he switches it back on, quickly typing out a message of his own.

your response comes immediately in the form of a typing speech bubble. niki watches it intently until another message sends through.

niki can feel his phone vibrating against his blankets. another text from you. he bites his lip, internally bracing himself for your reply. even though you asked him out first, he wonders if he's moving too quickly. like you'll suddenly come to your senses any minute and realize you could do so much better than him.

relief replaces the previous dread almost immediately. he lets out a small sigh before typing out another reply.

with the security that he has a date scheduled with his crush for the next day, niki rolls onto his side, still holding his phone in his hands. your conversation was short, but he finds himself replaying each moment of the interaction in his head.

his mind drifts back to when he literally ran into you backstage. you look so handsome in person. so much prettier than he ever imagined. your voice is different, too. it drips with honey, luring him in like a siren. niki knows so much about you, but he yearns to know more.

he plugs his phone in to charge, setting an alarm to make sure he doesn't sleep in too late before finally drifting off to sleep with a small smile on his lips.

pairing : hueningkai x fromis_9 9th member!reader summary : being an idol wasn’t always easy - hiding nearly ever aspect of your life from the cameras, especially relationships. word count : 0.9k other : established relationship ! we’re gonna pretend like pledis joined hybe in 2018 . this is my very late addition to the month taylor swift created all by herself - august .

“kai,” you whined, taking the boys hand in yours. it was dark in the dorm room; taehyun was out with the other boys, leaving just kai a you. alone. no prying eyes, or cameras to interfere with your interactions. “put the game down, please?”

kai nodded, quickly turning off his switch and placing it on his nightstand. “i thought you wanted to just hang out?” he hummed, stretching out tiredly.

“it’s been a week since we’ve seen each other though,” you frowned, slumping against his shoulder. “i’ve missed you.”

kai laughed slightly, wrapping his arms around your body and caging you against his. he places a soft, quick kiss to your forehead, murmuring an ‘i’ve missed you too’.

being an idol wasn’t exactly the easiest, especially when it came to dating. sure, you both were at points in your careers where your companies could care less about if you dated or not, but the fans. god, they drove you crazy. time after time, you watched as female idols got dragged for dating popular male idols. you watched time and time again as your friends got dragged for interacting ‘weirdly’ with a male (most of the time they weren't dating each other). so, naturally, you and kai kept your relationship a secret to the public. of course, your agency knew, and all your members knew, but you both didn’t see a reason for anyone else to know.

kai himself wasn’t opposed to the idea of telling the entire world, but after speaking with yeonjun and soobin about it, he realised just how at risk he would be putting you and your career. he could care less about his own, but you. you were everything to him, and he wouldn’t risk hurting you in any way, and that included your career.

it was easy to get away with the dating, most times. after all, txt and fromis_9 were apart of the same overarching company, so the two of you naturally saw each other often. kai thanked his lucky stars every night for that, thinking the two of you met by chance. you, however, thanked nagyung, and her obsession with beomgyu.

‘let’s go see the cute trainee!’ she begged, dragging you and jiheon. ‘i promise, i’ll be stealthy! they’re going to debut soon, and i want to be his first pre-debut stan~’

you had laughed at your friends antics, still adjusting to your own debut and unable to wrap your head around hybe debuting another group so soon. obviously, you were under different ‘branches’, but you still were the same company at the end of the day.

‘do you even know how old he is?’ you teased, playfully bumping nagyung’s shoulder as you spoke. ‘he could be jiheons age, or younger! or he’s as old as saerom!’

this, naturally, caused nagyung to freak out. but, the three of you made your way to the hybe cafeteria where jiheon admitted to seeing the group often.

that’s when you met kai - a towering sixteen year old running from beomgyu himself. it wasn’t a ‘meet-cute’ like in the movies - the poor boy had literally run into you. of course, he apologised profusely, and somehow miraculously ended up with your number so he could take you out for ice cream to fully make up for it.

nagyung never did get to meet beomgyu (she was too worried about her sweet little member to care about some silly boy). but you met the boy of your dreams.

and four years later, you were still together. after making up for literally knocking the breath out of you (he still apologises to this day whenever beomgyu or jiheon remind him), the two of you grew close. and eventually, kai asked you out. the one condition was that you couldn’t go public - not for at least a little bit. there was no point in risking your careers for some silly teenage fling.

just now, it wasn’t some fling.

“i’ll make it up to you, yeah?” he smiled, somehow finding a way to pull you even closer to him as you laughed softly. “we can order your favourite food and watch your favourite movie?”

you simply nodded against his chest, eyes closed as you relaxed with your sweet little boyfriend. "do you ever wish everyone knew about us?" you asked suddenly, tilting your head up to see his face. his eyes were slightly wide as he stared at his phone, clearly focused more on your question then on ordering.

he shrugged, looking down to meet your gaze, "as long as you're happy, i'm happy."

"that's not what i'm asking kai, i'm asking if you ever wish people knew?"

he shrugged again, "i never really thought about it. i've never wanted to risk your career - i've seen how the world treats female idols. you guys are put on a pedestal with unrealistic expectations just so people can tear you down."

his answer made you smile, and laugh slightly. "we both debuted four years ago, and we've been together for three and a half of those years, do you ever think it's time to just tell people?"

"i'm happy with how we are now - plus it's fun sneaking around everyones backs." he chuckled, returning his focus to his phone to order.

"well, if you're happy to meet me behind them all, then so am i."

One moment, your eyes were closed to take a nap; the next, they opened to meet the eyes of a fennec fox. Round and glossy, the eyes peered deep into you. You blinked, and it blinked back in response. What it does next freaked you out.

“Oh good! I’m going to tell Chan-hyung you woke up!” it chirped.

“YOU SPEAK!” you screeched, sitting up immediately in shock.

“What do you mean? Oh no, you lost your memories, didn’t you? We were warned about this. I was hoping it wasn’t true! S-stay right there!”

The fox did not wait for you to respond. Instead, it ran straight out toward the destination it had in mind.

While you sat there contemplating whether to make or break for it; you paused to take in what the fox said. Lost memories? You looked around the room and realized how different it was from the one you were accommodated to. Indeed the color was your favorite color, but everything else seemed different from your own room. You were highly confused about where you were, but somewhere in your heart, this place feels like home.

The door slid open, and in walked three additional figures, though the fox was nowhere to be seen. They were humans, but something told you they were not so simply put. The one with pointed ears (you found yourself curious but not surprised) took your hand in his. He watched your eyes twinkle with recognition.

“It seems I don’t have to reintroduce myself. How do you feel, my princette?”

You shifted from your position, then shrugged your shoulders. You could not give him a proper answer. You did not feel terrible, but you did not feel good either. You were in a state between indifference and confusion, but you knew his name and who he was to you. You wish you could say the same for the other two.

“I am not really sure, Soobin. I’m feeling so out of it. It’s not even funny,” you scoffed in disbelief when his name left your lips. How were you able to suddenly remember his name?

“Well, princette, let’s start with something easy. Like, do you remember us?”

Your gaze fell upon the half-black half-blond-haired individual who questioned you. You shook your head. You then looked at the person next to him, his orange hair stood out but, again, you shook your head, unable to recognize him.

“How did you know who Soobin is?”

“I don’t,” you replied, “I touched Soobin’s hand and suddenly I know who he is.”

“Just his name?”

“Everything that has to do with him.”

“Is that why your eye sparkled like a shooting star passing through the sky?” The cruella-haired asked.

“You noticed that too,” orange noted, “let’s test it out.”

He walked forward and asked for your hand, to which you wordlessly placed on top of his. Once again, a dim white light flashed across your eyes, catching all three’s attention.

“Chan.”

“Princette.”

A smile was shared between the two of you before the cruella-haired male asked for his turn. You obliged and, for the third time in moments, your eyes gleamed in the exact way Hongjoong had described it. So that was his name.

“Welcome back, Princette,” he softly kissed the back of your hand before pulling back to stand with Chan and Soobin.

“Looks like we’re going to have to reintroduce you to everyone through touch slowly. It’s a good thing the method of regaining memory is discovered early,” Chan nodded, happy to know the problem was not that big of a problem to begin with.

“It will be a bit of a journey since there’s quite a many of us,” Soobin commented with a sigh but was smiling nonetheless.

“Let’s get a head start then. Are you ready to get out of bed, Princette? It’s about time we got you some food as well,” Hongjoong presented you with his hand again.

Grabbing hold of his hand, you walked with him, Chan, and Soobin out of the room you were staying in. Whatever awaited you on the other side was surely going to be a feat, but you had a feeling nobody here would harm you. Questions arose, many of which were answers that would not be so simply answered by yourself— or quite possibly the others. Just how long will it take to regain the memories of this life? Will you retain the memories of the other life? You were deep in thought, allowing Hongjoong to guide you to wherever you guys were heading.

Lee know x male reader

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: M/n is a very famous and well-known gamer and content creator. Idol Stray Kids still. M/n has braces but if you don’t you can just skip that part and imagine the hair as something else as well. I tried to keep it generally plain tho so you could more imagine yourself.

AUTHORS NOTE: So because this is gonna be kinda short (That’s what I thought but now that im halfway done I realized it's pretty long compared to the Late Nights one.) and more of an intro to this three-part series, I'm going to put part 2 up really close to part one. Maybe a day or so apart so it gives you guys time to read part one first. (Maybe not because im on vaca visiting my partner and im also writing a fanfic for AO3 which is taking most of my creativity but I shall try) Part 3 will probably be a few days later, depending on how much you like parts one and 2.

WARNINGS: Nothing really, fluff, some jealousy from the reader, insecure thoughts, idol AU, famous gamer reader.

M/n was chilling on his twitch stream and it was one of the few moments where he wasn't gaming but was reacting to videos his fans had recommended to him in the patron rec box. He had just finished a hilarious video of TXT and was now moving to the next video in the queue. “So the next request was from AshleysAshknee, nice name dude, this will be the last req of the live before we wrap up!” He clicks on the video and sets everything up before looking at the title.

“Alright, this is ‘Stray Kids Lee Know being the most unpredictable member in SKZ’! (I don’t know if this is an actual video so please don’t look for it 😭) Sounds good. As you all should know by now Lee Know and Changbin are definitely my biases, mainly Lee Know”, M/n laughs after reading the title. “Well let's get into it!” He starts the video and reacts to it here and there, laughing and making side jokes about his secret boyfriend. He ends up laughing at the clips of him being unaffectionate and hating affection.

There comes up a compilation of a bunch of clips near the end of Lee Know smacking the member's asses, trying to kiss them playfully and the ever so unavoidable Minsung clips. He laughs at the first sets of clips where his boyfriend is smacking their asses or playfully trying to kiss them because he knows that that's just how he jokes around with them and it's funny. When we get to the dreaded 3 to 4 last minutes of the video dedicated to Minsung, we see a slight shift in M/n's mood. It’s not enough for his fans to notice but if his siblings or boyfriend were watching they'd definitely notice.

As he watches through the clips it feels like this is the longest 3 minutes of his life and one of the only times he hates that he's reacting to an audience. The more clips of them being intimate and clingy to each other go by the more of a bitter taste is left in M/n’s mouth. In the end, they also comment about how they think Minsung is real and actually dating but M/n knows they aren't. He knows that Lee Know is his and they'd never do that to him. When the video ends M/n is quick to exit it to try to get the bitter taste away faster.

He goes through and says his usual goodbyes telling them when the next stream is and what he's doing, and if he ends the stream quicker than usual, well that's between M/n and his fans. M/n shuts everything down properly after uploading the stream so fans who didn't make it could still watch. After that, he creeps his way into his kitchen to get some snacks and drinks to take the bitter taste in his mouth away. He sits on the couch watching but not watching some random show that came on. He's scrolling through Twitter looking at drama recently and posts his fans make about him that they think he can’t see when he finds a whole thread about him.

M/n is no stranger to hate and usually, he's strong enough to fight back and laugh them off but now he's all by himself in an already weakened state and he lets the comments get to him a little. He wants to stop reading but can't bring himself to. One specific thread just gets to him in a way the rest didn't. ‘M/n talks about having a boyfriend all the time but how come we never hear about him or from him?’ ‘I don’t know maybe his boyfriend started realizing how fucking ugly M/n is and cut it off lol’ ‘Or there is no boyfriend, I mean who would date M/n unless they were looking for fame’ ‘I remember he said in one of the first streams it was brought up in that the said boyfie was an idol or famous, one of the two but still what idol would wanna date some random ass streamer who isn't even that good.’

M/n quickly shuts off his phone and throws it to the side. He realized that they were right towards the end. ‘Am I that bad looking?’ M/n stands up and walks to his bathroom mirror looking at himself. He starts to slowly pick himself apart, “My smile is horrible, these braces are so unattractive, I have such a chubby face..” Pulling on his face thinking of how ugly it looks to him and apparently other people. He tugs the ponytail in his hair pulling it out and watching as fluffy (h/c) bangs cover his eyes fully and the back of his hair goes past his shoulders with (f/n) streaks through it.

“That's a little better... You can't see the top of my face. And I can surprisingly still see like this.” He moves on poking at his body and saying things he doesn't like before giving up and changing from his favorite shirt out of his fandom merch into an oversized hoodie his brother gave him for his birthday. Was it over 90 degrees today? Yes, but M/n would rather sweat than see his body today so he just turned the ac up and moved on.

He sat in the very corner of his bed and pulled his legs to his chest. In M/n’s little corner he started overthinking. ‘What if Minho doesn't like me anymore? He’s gonna finally realize that I'm not what he wants or needs and he's gonna leave me for someone way better…like Jisung... They were right. What famous and beautiful Idol would seriously wanna date someone like me? Maybe I should tell him. I mean he'd be so much better and happier with Jisung- They're closer than me and him and spend way more time with each other and look and sound good together. He's way more affectionate with him than me..’

M/n understands that they don’t get a lot of time together because of his boyfriend's very busy schedule as an idol and yes dates and hangouts have been canceled frequently but he understands. His boyfriend's career is way more important than M/n, at least in his personal opinion. After what felt like seconds or minutes of being trapped in his head but was hours, he doesn't hear the front door open or his boyfriend walking in and taking his shoes off.

Minho was very confused because when he usually pops up around this time his adorable shorter/taller boyfriend is found in the living room or kitchen. He calls out for him getting nothing in return so he walks around looking for him and even checks his streaming room in case the stream went on longer than he thought but he wasn't there so he went to the bedroom. When he walked in he found his boyfriend still in the corner of the bed balled up and he blinked confused a few times before rushing over to him and sitting next to him on the bed.

“M/n? Baby what's wrong?”, Minho asked he made sure not to touch him because he knows how things could get if he touches him without his permission in this state. M/n slowly looks up at Minho and only cries harder when he realizes that he’s wasted hours and should have had dinner started and ready. Minho was quick to hold his arms out to the boy and M/n slowly unfolded himself before hesitantly crawling into his boyfriend’s strong comforting arms. Minho waits for him to calm down before asking him again, “Baby what's wrong? What happened?”.

M/n hiccups a few times before answering. “I'm sorry, I'm a terrible boyfriend and you deserve so much better. I'm not pretty enough or handsome enough and I should be better. You should be with someone better. You’re a famous idol for god sake what is someone like you doing with someone like me? You could have anyone you want in the world. Why are you here with me?”.

Minho held M/n to his chest, blinking confusedly about what could have caused this. He knows that M/n has insecurities and has moments like this but they've never gotten this bad before. M/n continues to sob into his boyfriend's chest, “M/n love I don't know what caused this, but I don't want to hear you say that stuff about yourself ever again. You are the most amazing and adorable and handsome person I have ever met and the only person I will ever love.”

Minho kisses the top of M/n’s head and rubs his back soothingly. “Will you tell me what caused you to think like this?” M/n sat, still sobbing, trying to calm down some before speaking. “You don’t have to tell me now but when you feel like it you can” Minho said, running his hands through his boyfriend's hair. After a good 5 minutes of trying to calm down and just basking in his boyfriend's love and comfort, M/n finally was calm enough to speak with just a few hiccups in between. He taps Lee Know’s arm twice signaling he's ready to talk now. “Hm? Are you ready baby? Take all the time you need if you aren’t!” He said looking down at his baby. “I- I’m ready now..” M/n said, his voice was kinda shaking. “Okay, what made my prince cry?” Lee know said, smiling at him.

“Um, I was on stream today and I was watching videos that people recommended to me like I told you it was planned, and everything was going good! It was a good stream but then we got to the last video of the stream and it was a video about you and..” M/n started crying again but not as hard. Minho just held him and listened while comforting him, trying to be there for him the best that he could. “I really enjoyed it, you’re so amazing and talented and it was so cute and funny watching all your moments was very fun. But then towards the end, there were like 4 minutes of just clips of you and Jisung being all cute and affectionate towards each other. It was cute and I enjoyed watching it slightly but the more and more I saw it and started thinking.”

“It went on and about how you guys would make a really good couple and that you’re perfect for each other. I know that you guys would never do anything and that you’d never cheat on me and that he’s my best friend, he’d never do that. But watching you two being so close and affectionate and always together while we almost never get time together anymore left a really bad taste in my mouth.” M/n sobbed out. Minho held him and listened taking in everything he was saying. “And then I was scrolling through Twitter after stream to make myself feel better, and I ended up finding a whole thread of hate directed towards me. Fans were saying that they didn’t believe that I was in a relationship, that no one would want me let alone a popular idol or celebrity who was a mystery. They said I was too ugly and no one would date me unless they were looking for fame. I mean they aren't wrong, look at me”

The cat-like idol looked down at his boyfriend with shocked eyes. Minho took everything in before gently grabbing M/ns chin making him look up at him. “Don’t you ever say that about yourself ever again. You are the most amazing, beautiful, funny, adorable person that I know and I love being with you. You are the reason I've gotten as far as I have, you are my biggest support. You motivate me to be the best that I can be. Everything between me and Han is strictly just friends, I don’t think of him in that way and I never will. I wouldn’t trade you for anyone else in the world.” He was going to continue but M/n cut him off.

“But why? You could have someone so much better! With the same career and be able to spend more time together and be so much happier. Not some nothing Twitch streamer like me. I have no talents and nothing that makes me as special as all the amazing people that you work with. I’m disgusting and boring. My smile is ugly, these stupid braces are unattractive, (no they are not people with braces you are amazing and adorable!) my face is chubby and ugly. Everything bout me is either ugly or boring! The only thing that I like is my hair, maybe if I wear my hair down more I can hide everything. I mean I can still see through my bangs, but that way most of my face is covered, and all I’d have to do is to wear a mask or minimize the amount that I open my mouth so you can’t see my braces much.” M/n forgot he was still talking to Minho and was rambling to himself at that point.

“I’m gonna stop you right there.”, Minho interrupted him. “You are not boring or unattractive at all. You are amazing, no one can compare to you in my eyes. Your smile is absolutely gorgeous and it lightens up my day the second I see it. I think your braces and chubby cheeks make you even more adorable. You are anything but boring, it’s such a joy hanging out and being around you. You are hilarious and you brighten the atmosphere just being in the room. Watching you when you stream whether it’s gaming or reacting to videos or even drawing comics is always entertaining. The people who made that post and agreed with it aren’t real fans. Your real fans love you and love the content you make.”

Minho lifted M/ns bangs so that he could see his whole face. “There’s my beautiful baby.” M/n smiled gently hearing what he said and seeing him smile at him with the most love he has ever seen in his eyes. “There will never be a time where I will stop loving you. No matter what you say or haters say I will always be right here. Better suck it up cause you’re stuck with me now.” He said kissing all around his boyfriend's puffy face and tickling him. M/n giggled trying to get him to stop. Minho smiled stopping after a bit, “Ah the adorable giggle I love so much, music to my ears!” M/n giggled again wiping his tears. “Thank you Minho, I’m sorry I let the hate get to me.” “Don’t be baby, everyone has their insecurities. I’m always going to be here to prove those wrong just like you do for me.” He smiled kissing the shorter/taller’s forehead.

M/n smiled leaning into his chest more. “Now how bout we get you some food and then spend the rest of the night watching movies and cuddling?”, Minho asked his very cuddly boyfriend. “I would like that very much, and thank you very much again”, he smiled looking up at him. “No need to love, now I’ll go cook, you go shower and try to relax” Minho lifted M/n and took him to the bathroom. “I’ll get you clothes” M/n smiled from the bathroom and yelled towards his boyfriend who was walking back to the bedroom, “Thank you, I love you!” “I love you too now go shower before I come in there and wash you myself stupid” M/n just laughed starting the shower.
