help me pay my college fee!!!
TLDR: i need 67 dollars before the 30th of january in order to study LOL
Hey everyone! I dont use my tumblr very often but in this ocassion y need your help
Since last week i've been struggling a lot with college transactions and there's a big possibility i may have to pay an extra fee due to a short time period of pay
For reference, here in colombia we have something called ICFES, i dont really know how to describe it but is like a test for all students of eleventh grade. When you get the best score at your school you can get a schollarship that will pay 100% of your college fee, back in 2022 I ended up at 1st place on my school
But here's the problem, they only pay the base price, if you have to pay any extra fees it needs to come from your money.
My family has been struggling A LOT financially so we cannot afford to pay the extra fee price, my grandparents cant work and my mother works a full time job. Thanks to god we have enough for every meal of the day but our budget is really tight
I really dont like to ask for help on the internet but I'm desperate right now

I think the tags on here for me are broken and it鈥檚 slightly annoying me. Like I can see it on my profile but when I click on the reblog section on the og post it doesn鈥檛 show and I鈥檓 not blocked?!?! And I contacted tumblr support so many times. Hopefully this gets fixed soon but imma still use tags for organizing for me but it鈥檚 weird that it just started being weird randomly

Cover of the day: Day 5: Cover from Soviet Latvia to the coldest province in the Soviet Union
By Golly! It's already been 5 days since I began this! I hope I continue this for 5 more days. I'll probably continue this until I run out of (interesting ) covers to post.
Also, sorry but this post will be a bit shorter than usual, because I dont have much to say for this cover. But I'll make a post on Soviet Postmarks, because some people have a bit of trouble reading them.

Todays cover was sent from Riga, Latvian SSR to Aldan, Russian SFSR on the 7th of March 1989.
The (modern) history of Latvia is quite similer to Estonia. Here's a quick recap: First there was no Latvia (It was part of the Russian Empire), Then in 1918 there was a Latvia, and they issued their first stamp, which has a very interesting story worthy of it's own post (Here's a great video). Then the Latvian war of independence starter and laster from 1918 'till 1920. Everything was fine until 1940 when the Russians invaded, then in 1941 the Germans invaded, then in 1944 the Russians invaded AGAIN (They also invaded in 1918). Latvia was then part of the Soviet Union, until the singing revolution happened and they finally gained their independence in 1991 (Two years after this cover was sent).
But let's go back to 1989. This cover was sent to Aldan, Yakutia. Aldan was and still is a gold/mica mining town in the Russian Far East. Of course being in the Russian Far East and being in one of the coldest provinces in Russia, It's pretty cold; with an average low of -30.1掳C and a record low of -50掳C, And there's almost nothing to say about Aldan
The cachet on this cover is of Lake R膩zna in Latvia; The second largest lake in Latvia, being about 57.81聽km^2, and about 17 meters deep at its deepest point. There are also 10 islands on the lake (The largest of them being Ap拧u island, which is about 9 hectares).

Cosplay question!
Hey Tumblr you're pretty smart at nerdy things. I've never painted my face or attempted any kind of "animal" makeup before...
Say, hypothetically, I was planning to cosplay a grey raccoon, what would you do for the face?
Would you just pop a lil black nose on there? Some whiskers? Would you use face paint all over or just a little makeup?
I've seen every variation from full body grey to dabbing on a black nose to not doing anything and they all look good so I'm indecisive.
The eye area is conveniently covered by a thief mask so I was just going to put some dark eyeshadow on there.
Important disclaimer: I am definitely not good enough at makeup to attempt any of the badass animal makeup looks I saw when looking this up. People are very talented and I am a smol silly bean putting together a very bad cosplay.
Also! I will be sweating around a convention for the day. Unsure if that makes any difference to these choices...

Skulker laughed victorious as he hover over Superman. Johny, Kitty, and Ember equally had a smug look.
The Justice League watched in disbelief as this unknown entity had somehow defeated one of their strongest member, somewhat in disarray on figuring out how to defeat them.
Cue the static voice of a young male, standing on a building not far from the wreckage. "Why don't you try picking a fight with someone your own species?" The teenager(?) Snarled, his eyes glowing a toxic shade of kryptonite green.
'Who the hell is that?' one may ask, a question not uncommon when in regards of the teenager.
"Kid, it's not safe here!" A League member yelled (green lantern?), Earning an eyebrow raise and folded arms from the younger.
"you humans are absolute idiots" he snarked back, rolling his eyes; he's going to have a headache explaining to his dad Batman.
"BABYPOP!"
"PELT!"
"PHANTOM!"
Yep. A headache.
