at first he wasn’t sure whether his ears were deceiving him
but he stopped and listened carefully, eventually realizing it was you
then all his attention went into listening to you
he very much enjoyed it, but waited for you to finish your little performance before saying anything (didn’t want to interrupt you, nor make you feel awkward)
he wouldn’t be giving you elaborate compliments and praise, just something short and to the point, but you’d see in his face that he genuinely loved it
he likes to listen to you sing, but also sometimes loves to join you and sing together!!!

with his excellent hearing, he picked up on you humming tunes quietly as you walked, many times
and he found even that very pleasant
but when he heard you fully singing for the first time he had heart eyes, basically
he thought you have the most angelic, soothing yet powerful voice
he would never ask you to sing anything for him and wouldn’t want to push you, but he would enjoy it so much when you do
he wants to know where you picked up all the songs that you know
his absolute favorite thing is when you quietly sing while braiding his hair!!!!!

he swear it makes everything grow bigger and more luscious
God forbid anyone makes even a slightly negative comment about your singing, he is ready to throw hands

THOUGHTS ABOUT BREEK
I want to talk about Breek and their relationship, my thoughts and opinions, you don’t have to agree with them
Recently I realized that I only draw with Fleek and it’s comfortable for me, and most importantly, I see that I can draw with them. I have a lot of ideas about this, but about Breek, literally not one idea. BUT I literally think about them CONSTANTLY. Their chemistry really fascinates me, especially after the incarnation of Creek and his redemption, but I can’t make a picture out of it
So, this is their relationship. I have never seen the same opinion on Creek as I have, perhaps I wasn’t looking hard enough. There's no denying that he's an asshole - that's a fact. He betrayed his appearance, he was truly brash and felt no shame when he spoke to Poppy that he would bring enemies to the village. He loves _only_ himself. At least until the end of the first film. Well, the most important thing in all of this is that he is not just an asshole, he is a smart and cunning asshole. And this is exactly what is revealed when he returns back, and the POP-Trolls quickly accept him, because these are... trolls (?), they are not the smartest guys at all, sorry
And he feels great there, or shows that he feels good, as if he had not wandered through the forest for a month, despite the fact that he had never survived in the forest, and was left alone with himself. Creek is not a person who will show his sincere emotions, he will think, understand how to present it to him and only then will he say it. He always plays, because the most important thing he has is his image in society. And without this society, he's just a troll
He comes to his senses so quickly in the village, not because it was easy for him to live in the forest, but because he won’t say how hard it is for him, and he dreams of the herds, how he blames himself and his confidence that he is more important than all the trolls. He will smile and meditate, but not sleep with knocks, because in his nightmares he will be eaten alive again, but he will not say. He holds the image, and most importantly, no one will understand him, not a single troll has experienced such internal shock and survival alone. But this is the nuance, there are such trolls, and he is alone. Branch
I think even before the Bergens' invasion, Creek often thought about Branch, he's the only one who can't be penetrated in any way, he doesn't care who you are, he looks through all Creek's masks, which irritated him very much, because he couldn't keep control of the situation. And in the end, he comes to him, because how can you save face in front of someone in whose eyes you have fallen for a very long time. Moreover, it was not direct, like, “Knock-knock. Branch, Hi, here’s the thing, I think I’m broken like you, let’s talk, otherwise I’ll soon die from loneliness in my thoughts.” He will never say that, he won’t be able to come and say he loves his ego too much, he will also mimic it, swear, but literally at some point he says something too personal that he wouldn’t tell anyone, something like “I I think you will remain the same gloomy for the rest of your life. It’s a pity that I understand you, and I think that I will remain like that too.” Creek just wants to talk to someone, just scream, but only Branch will understand him
Their chemistry is not healthy, it is constant swearing and teasing, but Creek is ready to argue with him at least every day in order to understand that he is the only one. I think one damn time he said something like that, and he said it straight out, and Branch just stopped talking and looked at him. No matter how much Branch loves Poppy, she won't understand him. Poppy, the bright sun, which even on bad days remains bright and cannot be extinguished. And Branch admires and loves this sun, but he has always been in the shadow, and he is accustomed to this shadow. But the sun simply cannot be in the shadow, it always shines. And in this shadow they find each other. Perhaps just silently, sitting in different corners, just the two of them there, and they know that they are not alone. One day, really one day, they will talk

Real talk: Does the Jedi Order have a tax exempt status?
I know it's somewhat of a meme to make jokes about how the Jedi don't know how to pay taxes, or rather questioning whether they get paid or make any income at all. And, yes, this question is kinda dumb in the sense that whether the Jedi Order has tax exempt status or not, it doesn't effect the over all story or any actual SW lore in any way that actually matters.
I also know that tax exempt status works differently in other countries besides the US (yes, hello, I am American. I hate it here, too). But for the sake of taking this very dumb question at face value, would the Jedi Order:
1) Count as a religious institution in the eyes of Republic law?
2) If so, would their status as a religious institution have any impact on whether they attained tax exempt status from the Republic?
3) What standards and regulations would the Republic IRS have in place regarding tax exemption?
4) Do the Jedi even have an accounting department?
I would peronally argue that, yes, the Jedi Order is in fact a religious institution. On the account of the obvious connection to the Force and heavily coded (if not just downright) religious practices that the Jedi follow.
However, even if the Republic were to grant the Jedi Order the status of a lawfully recognized religious institution, I'm not sure if this would actually lead to them a guaranteed tax exempt status.
According to United States IRS standards and regulations, the Jedi Order could and would also be seen as a religious institution. However, one of the biggest stipulations for retaining tax exempt status is that the religious institution does not attempt to or make any influence on legislative or attempt to influence political campaigns.
(Palpatine voice: Ironic).
Now, if the Republic had similar stipulations, I would argue that, no, the Jedi do not get tax exemption. Mostly because one of the longest known duties associated with the Jedi Order is their role in assisting with galactic diplomacy. It would be literally impossible for them to not get involved in some capacity, especially when their aid is often directly requested (whether by a Republic aligned planet or not).
That being said, this is all going by the standards of the IRS. And at the risk of sounding too jaded, there are hundreds if not outright thousands of religious institutions in the US that should have lost their tax exempt status decades ago. And yet ....
Obviously, this all ultimately depends on what standards the Republic would theoretically have in place for situations like this. And while I would never actually want George Lucas--or any other writer for that matter--to attempt to give us a canon answer, I can't help but wonder.
Even if the Jedi Order was completely self-reliant--which I personally don't think is possible due to them, well, living on Coruscant for thousands of years-just as an example. It just doesn't make sense to me that the Jedi would limit themselves to only what they make in house when they could have easy access to other local businesses, ya know?--whose to say that they wouldn't still be required to pay for taxes like regular citizens?
The Jedi Temple, again, has literally been there for thousands of years. I don't think it's entirely out of the realm of possibility that the Republic wouldn't have sent their own SW IRS agent at least once to audit the Jedi Order.
I honestly wouldn't even be surprised if that Jedi Order would be given a slight form of tax exemption, but only if certain conditions were met. Like, I don't know, what if an official member of the local Coruscantii/Republic government were to make a direct request for the aid of the Jedi. Maybe they'd get a tax write off for all the transportation and housing (or vehicular damage) they'd acrue while on this government sponsored mission?
Or what about this? Business institutions in the US get tax write offs for charitable donations (which the fuckers exploit to hell and back, fuck me). I have to wonder if there was a point in time (maybe the early years of the ye Old Republic) where someone had to bring up the fact that a lot of what the Jedi do could count fall under charitable tax deductions. So if they wanted to continue taxing the Jedi Order, they'd probably have to change up the definition or something.
Idk, man, I'm sort of spit balling random thoughts at this point.
I'd also like to say that I believe the Jedi do, in fact, have an accounting department. Just to keep thing running smoothly in regards to the Temple budget and so on. It would be kinda hard to keep a place that big with that many occupants still around and for that long without having someone keeping a close eye on the Order's spending.
Mostly, though, I just find the idea of the Jedi being audited absolutely hilarious.

Late nights thoughts, but I need to know!
In other countries, when you ask someone for their age, is it common for them to reply with or add right after, the year they were born in?
For example: «oh, I’m 99 (nini/ninenine)» or «yes I’m a 00 (nullnull/zerozero), so 22/23 years old» or «I’m 34. 89-model (åttinimodell/eightynine-model)»
I need to know of other countires do this. Or if Norwegians disagree with me and I’m just imagining it 😅😅😅

hi! i was wondering, why are some cars faster than others? what makes red bull different from other teams when they're all subject to the same reg changes? is it just due to their resources or a lack thereof?
hello! i will try to answer this the best that i can with my limited tech knowledge and vocabulary <3
tldr; basically, yes, there is a difference between the teams' performance cause by the variation in the amounts of money, sponsors and overall resources. but as certain teams have showed time n time again (eh-em scuderia ferrari), it's not just about having money but what you do with it; largely when it comes to aero development and the wiggle room the regs give
first things first, while the regs are same for all teams, the way the regs are interpreted by the teams differ largely. everything from the floor to the wings to the nuts and bolts can be customised by the teams. Some choices work in their favour, others not so much.
something to remember is that, while building a f1 car, you're always choosing to sacrifice one thing or another. for example, during the merc domination era, their cars were rarely ever following another due to always qualifying in the top 2. that's how they designed their car then; to lead, not to follow. which means that when they did have to follow another their car, their aerodynamics struggled and the car got much harder to drive. but that's a risk they chose to take because they knew that their car had good qualifying pace.
the teams try to build a car that suits to all tracks; ones with mostly slow speed corners or fast speed corners or mid. long straights or not. all that jazz. the ideal car is one that can do well or at least relatively well in all of these tracks. but as last year showed, even the best developed cars (rip rb19 u will always be famous) will struggle on some tracks (singapore; marina bay circuit; heartbreaker). it is extremely hard to be able to build a car that's always in the top 2, and often, it requires other teams massively fucking up their interpretation of the regs and the parts and features they believe makes for a fast f1 car.
a BIG part of setting up and building a car is having drivers that can give you feedback on how the cars act and react on the track. the simulators are great and helpful but they cannot be compared to the feeling of being in the actual car, going 300 miles an hour and feeling it in your bones. time and time again, it's been seen that teams who have ignored their drivers' suggestions on what to change about the car (lewis @ merc since the last two years) have suffered a decline in the quality of their machines.
all of this comes down to the development of the car and the people involved in developing said car. of course the resources matter but the development philosophy (especially when it comes to what they do with their aero package) often plays the biggest part.
but to come to the resources part,
sponsorships, the finishing position in the wcc; the price money that comes along with it, and whether the team is backed by an engine manufacturer/major brand does give that monetary boost that leads to massive differences in lap time on track. for one, it influences the people you can hire; right from the drivers to the strategists and aerodynamicists. talent comes with a massive price tag in f1.
with teams with lesser sponsors (for eg, haas), there also comes the limitation of not being able to afford extra, spare engines or front/rear wings which can then limit and lead to a drop in the car's performance. while rbr can afford to switch out their PU if it's not giving them peek performance, williams or haas cannot do that simply because of not having enough money to be able to buy another engine from the manufacturer.
f1 is trying to decrease the difference between the teams' performance based on access to resources with adding a cost cap and giving more aero development time to the teams that finish lower in the constructors championship. but so far, it doesn't seem to have made too much of a difference to the finishing order. although, the gaps between the teams in terms of lap times has come down significantly.
i have to mention (thank u @epylonia for reminding me of this) that merc has definitely struggled since the cost cap was put in place. do with that what u will <3
also, i cannot write an essay without bringing up adrian newey. there have been talks of him retiring since 2016 but rbr has kept a deathgrip on him and paid a good amount (10 milli dollars/year) to do so. that man is a genius and rbr is fucking lucky to be able to have him/afford him.
