A word for those who want to impose on the timeline God has someone else on or who undermine just how fervently and diligently someone has been fighting for themselves, their identity, their destiny, and their sanity… only a feeble mouth opens at the wrong times, and a hasty uncalculated effort is often more redundant, unnecessary, pressurizing, and hurtful; than it will ever be helpful.

Since it's Trespasses time I thought you might like to see the guest breakdown I wrote up for Ben Counter when he started writing it.

He hadn't listened, and I don't like to assign homework, so I sploinked this up so he'd know what toys he was playing with.

Now as I've said before, canon lives in your heart, not in my head, so if you see anything here you don't like, just throw it out. This is just how I think of my precious guests when I write them so I \ give them enough personality that you know a little bit about who they are when they die so you are sad. They are all pretty broad and arch with strong personalities (even if it's strongly milquetoast) so that the little flecks and hints we get about them will shine through, ah, strongly.

Just a little behind the scenes look at how things get done (the rest of it is mostly panic bolting awake in the morning and checking to see if that thing got emailed to me yet while putting off emailing that thing I said I'd email.)

(fun fact: Mary Mallorie is listed as a 'Lauren Dern' type mostly because that is the way Parasitic Saint drew her when I commissioned guest art in 2021!)

the Cryptidae Noreen is actually from our the Ranch postcard artist @parasitic-saint, who did a whole series of the guests that I fell in love with so I commissioned a bunch more in 2021. It's been up on my fanart wall ever since.

My original model for Noreen was someone more like Tiffany or Robin Sparkles, someone who had a hit or two, some medium successes and maybe even one or two big moments before they fell back down here with the rest of us but never gave up.

When breaking the story with Ben and explaining who the guests were in my mind, I incorporated a healthy does of local Los Angeles pop culture icon and legend Angelyne because I love camp and tacky crap.
