Once you come to the realisation that some people are a part of your history holding on does more damage than letting go. When the heart truly understands, it lets go of everything because in the process of letting go of your past, you find yourself. Guilt anger, love and loss, these feelings aren’t easy but change is never easy. You may think holding on is strong but little do you know, letting go shows real strength. It hurts if someone tells you they don’t need you but it also hurts if they don’t… think about that. Sometimes you grow at a different pace to other people where you’re on a different wavelength to the ones you used to vibe with, but that’s okay because,

Goodbyes aren’t forever.

Goodbyes are not the end.

They simply mean I’ll miss you,

Until we meet again.
