I can't stop thinking about the MHA Spider-Verse AU so I'm just gonna make mini points about it:

- okay I don't have all the details but Izuku meets All Might the same time as the canon and AM dies from AFO and his quirk/invention that brings other OFA users to Izuku's dimension

- Perhaps AFO wants to take back OFA not only in his dimension but in every other one as well

- And ofc the whole world finds out that the great All Might is dead along with his true identity Toshinori Yagi, the world's only OFA user was killed and now Izuku is left with a quirk he can't control

- So Izuku's hoplessly left without his teacher before he bumps into old grumpy sweatpants All Might!! Izuku realizes with joy that he's not the only one

- This version of All Might was going through it for a long time, his back story is similar to canon AM but he's more hopeless he doesn't see the point in passing on OFA he's accepted his fate that he'll die gruesomely in a battle but he still powers through

- But ofc!! He bumps into Izuku who pleads with All Might to be his teacher so he can be his universe's OFA user, chaos ensues from there ✨

- Other OFA users will be brought from other dimensions and I'm thinking one could be Mirio from a dimension where AM ends up giving OFA to him, another is Nana from a universe where she doesn't pass it down to AM, and then possibly Bakugo and Uraraka where AM never knew Izuku

- Basically all the other universes where OFA could've been passed down in many different ways

- Throughout the journey Izuku learns how to better handle OFA but he's doubting himself desperately asking All Might when he knows he'll be ready and ofc All Might says he won't, it's a leap of faith

- Then ofc Izuku has his own 'What's Up Danger' scene ✨ and joins the other OFA users in defeating AFO, cementing that in every universe no matter what AFO will always lose

- All Might is so proud of Izuku having grown a lot closer to the boy and thinks that maybe having a successor wouldn't be so bad, before he goes back to his own dimension Izuku tells AM to see if he has his own Deku in his universe

- Just as a little bonus cuz I love Toshinko 🫶 I wanna add to All Might's stress and give him relationship problems, back in his universe he was with Inko but ofc hero work got too dangerous plus she wanted kids and that scared him a bit, so they thought it best to separate

- He ends up bumping into her anyway although it's not in his own dimension, it shocked the hell out of him finding out that she's Izuku's mother but seeing her again just brought all the emotions back

- It further cemented his feelings for her and after growing close to Izuku and feeling better about raising a successor he thinks maybe kids aren't so bad after all, he decides to give his relationship another chance once he's back home 🫶

Swiss: child of Hecate. The goddess of magic, witchcraft, crossroads, spirits, necromancy and the moon

Phantom: child of Hades. Easy, he’s a spooky guy. Hades, king of the underworld and god of the dead

Aether: child of Nyx, the impersonification of night and darkness. Feared by even Zeus. (Come on canonically Nyx had a son named Aither)

Rain: child of Thetis. Goddess of the sea and the leader of 50 nereids. Posessed a gift of prophecy. (Mother of Achilles btw)

Aurora: child of Soteria, the goddess of spirit, of safety and salvation, deliverance and preservation from harm

Cirrus: child of Aither, the god of the sky. Primordial god of light and the bright blue ether of the heavens

Cumulus: child of Aeolus, the divine keeper of the winds, god of storms

Mountain: child of Demeter, goddess of the harvest

Sunshine: child of Hephaestus, the god of artisans, blacksmiths, carpenters, craftsmen, fire, metalworking, sculpture and volcanoes

Ifrit: child of Hestia, goddess of hearth, home and hospitality (i know she’s a virgin goddess but we’ll ignore that for the sake of this)

What if Holly ended up visiting the Foundation when she was a young woman and there was a Containment Breach, during which she accidentally found this small kid and logically decides "okay, it's dangerous right now, gotta keep this kid safe" and lets the little Jotaro into her hiding spot. Maybe she even gives him a candy she had in her bag (Holly seems like to kind of person who'd have the Magic Bag Of Everything and no matter what you need or want she's got it)

and on his end of things Jotaro's decided "I've only known this woman for a few minutes but if anything happened to her I'd kill everyone here and then myself"

And then once he's been contained again and Holly goes back home, he just. Keeps managing to break out and always manages to make his way back to her. Doesn't matter what security measures they use or if they relocate him to the other side of the world, he always manages to get out and just chills with Holly, even if it's just for a couple hours

eventually (with some very convincing arguments and a whole slideshow from Holly), they end up just. Letting Holly keep him because aside from when he breaks out, he's not actually doing any harm and seems to genuinely only want to be with her. They do set some very strict guidelines on what Jotaro is and isn't allowed to do and make it clear that any trouble will get him right back to the facility, and some of the Foundation workers who check in probably aren't..... the kindest to him, but Holly is a damn good mother and more than makes up for it

I'll admit I don't know too much about SCPs, but I had a possible thought for Jotaro's Thing

What if he has a kind of learning/mimicking/creating type thing that only affects himself with almost limitless boundaries except it has to be what he wants on a deep, internalized level. He wanted to hide and be seen as a non-threat, so he took the form of a seemingly helpless human child. He wanted to be with Holly again, so he was able to escape every time and find her no matter where he was taken. He wanted to be her son, so he seems to grow and age like a human. He wants to protect her, so he "grows up" to be big and strong and capable

But with all this knowledge, everything he knows and everything he can be...... it can blend together and leads to him being socially awkward. He has difficulties communicating and sometimes he gets stuck in loops of indecision when he can't figure out what would be the best to do or say and then can get frustrated when people don't understand what he means. His family is usually pretty good at recognizing when he has these moments, but to outsiders it can be difficult

SCP Jotaro would probably be a bit different from Canon Jotaro.

For one, I don't think he'd lash out at Holly. Even more so than in canon, Holly is one of the only people he can trust because she is one of the only people he knows will fight for him if the Foundation tries to take him back. A small part of him is terrified of her deciding one day to just let them take him, but most of him knows that she would never. She is his mother and he is her son. They protect each other.

As for another, when he does lash out, he'd have to be W A Y more careful about when and how. Skipping school and the like would be mostly fine, but getting into fights? That is a HARD no because even if he didn't start them it would still be dangerous and pose a risk toward him getting taken away again. This....... actually adds another layer to him locking himself in the cell when Star manifests and he accidentally hurts those guys

This is an absolutely excellent question and I knew you would come up with something amazing.

AHEM...well, if Smelphine were to appear again, I think it would depend when and under what circumstances and who else is around. For the sake of chaos (because I will always choose chaos), let's say that all three of these people are in the same room, perhaps having dinner? (We can add Narile here for shits and giggles as well.)

It would go something like this....

[Smelphine kicks down the door with Esbern trailing behind her on an (invisible) leash. She stomps VERY angrily up to the main table in the Great Hall. Everyone looks at her.]

Dahlia: [blinks and is vaguely annoyed]

Ulfric: [is very annoyed because who would have the audacity to walk up to a king without a summons]

Lydia: [gets up immediately from the table and stomps over to Smelphine]

Narile: [internally screaming, "what is my wife doing and maybe I should get an invisible leash for her']

This is the most pleasant part of this whole scene, and from there, things go downhill very quickly.

Smelphine points and shouts at Dahlia to "do her duty as the Dragonborn". Lydia shoves Smelphine and makes some sassy remark about asking if she would like a free trip to the face sculptor. Ulfric gets up from his seat and also starts yelling at Smelphine about what she is doing here and if she needs a forcible escort out of the Palace.

All the while, Dahlia looks on with shock as she figures out what she should do to get her husband and her housecarl back in line.

Meanwhile, pushing and name calling are happening--somehow Galmar also makes his way there. (Jorleif is chilling in a corner and doing the Ben Affleck cigarette meme.)

Eventually, Dahlia gets angry at all of them for interrupting her dinner and Shouts, which shakes the whole Palace and breaks half of the "good" dinnerware. She puts on her best disappointed parent face, calls all of them children, and tells them to think about what they're doing. All of them go to their respected time outs...but before Smelphine can leave, Lydia gives her a very thoughtful parting gift: a punch to the face (again).

i was gonna send a different ask first, but seeing as i’m sick currently- what would happen if one of the lads got sick? (ex; would they try to hide it, would any [were]wolf &/or pack instincts kick in for any of them, what would the other lads do, etc)

I look forward to more asks! This one was quite a lot of fun and got me thinking so thank you for asking it! I hope you feel better soon! I'll send the werewolf lads your way for a snuggle pile.

If any of them get sick, the rest of the pack can smell it and will try to help. Since they’re pack, they take care of each other to the best of their ability. Sometimes the bitten werewolves’ instincts to abandon whoever is sick, if they’re really sick, will make itself known but Kevin and Daithi will assure them their instincts are wrong.

When the lads are sick:

Sean and Kevin isolate themselves; Sean in wolf form, Kevin in human form

Daithi, when in human form, will complain endlessly about it. In wolf form, he sleeps almost all the time so the lads rouse him so he can drink water and eat a little bit.

Brian, like Sean, stays in his wolf form and likes to be in the same room as at least one other lad. That way if he needs something he can ask.

Dan is the baby of the pack and thus gets doted on whenever he’s sick regardless of if he wants to be alone or not.

How the lads care for each other:

Kevin, while not the most helpful at the time of sickness, does most of the preparation for if someone gets sick. He keeps the blankets cleaned, the food stocked, and the medicine cabinet full.

Daithi makes sure whoever’s sick has the best bed, pillows, and blankets. If they’re not warm enough, he’ll lay on top of them in wolf form.

Sean will make whoever’s sick a cup of tea and provide conversation by sitting next to them. If they’re not up for back-and-forth conversation, he’ll recount a game he’s played or things he’s found in the woods.

Brian is the bringer of things for whoever’s sick. Do they need a new bottle of water? A different pillow? Help getting to the bathroom? He’s got it covered.

Dan, like Sean, will provide entertainment like reading a book out loud but the lads tend to isolate him if someone is sick, especially if it’s a respiratory thing.

hey btw if you're in the USA at 2:20 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 4, they're testing the emergency broadcast system. your phone is probably going to make a really loud noise, even if it's on silent. there's a backup date on the 11th if they need to postpone it.

if you're not in a safe situation and have an extra phone, you should turn that phone completely off beforehand.

additionally, if you're like me, and are easily startled; i recommend treating it like a party. have a countdown or something. be surrounded by your loved ones. take the actions you personally need to take to make yourself safe.

i have already seen mockery towards any person who feels nervous about this. for the record, it completely, completely valid to have "emergency broadcast sounds" be an anxiety trigger. do not let other people make fun of you for that. emergency sounds are legitimately engineered to make us take action; those of us with high levels of anxiety and/or neurodivergence are already pre-disposed to have a Bad Time. sometimes it is best to acknowledge that the situation will be triggering for some, and to prepare for that; rather than just saying "well that's stupid, it's just a test."

"loud scary sound time" isn't like, my favorite thing, but we can at least try to prevent some additional anxiety by preparing for it. maybe get yourself a cake? noise cancelling headphones? the new hozier album? whatever helps. love u, hope you're okay. we are gonna ride it out together.

Nico referring to his mom as "Mama" implies he most likely at least used to refer to Hades as "Papa" and i 100% headcanon he still does but mostly in the manner of him having the entire Underworld wrapped around his finger for being the baby of the family
