Threads of You: Beyond the Bay 🌊 Monthly Devlog #2: November 30th, 2023

Yet another month, another devlog... Hey, everyone! 🎉 Welcome to the mass post for all things Threads of You: Beyond the Bay, where we spill the beans on what's been brewing... behind the scenes.

This month has been a whirlwind as we inch closer to the big reveal of our demo! Crunch time has hit, and the Lavendeer team has been putting in extra hours. How about a virtual pat on the back for our hard work? 🙌

But, hey, enough about that. Let's dive right in! ✨

Programming wise, it's been busy this month! Relationship modifiers, arguably one of the most important things in a romance otome game, between the MC (You) and the characters were successfully implemented.

Alongside that, we've refined our scenes with proper animations to both our characters and UI to make it flow smoother and look pleasing to the eyes! It should also easier to navigate.

On the aesthetic front, our commissioned GUI is now not only complete, but seamlessly integrated into the game! Huge thanks to @sitraxis! We've shown a couple of sneak peeks, but look forward to more now that our key art made by Somate Studio is finished! Big thanks to them as well, we can't wait to show you guys how it looks!

The character customization progress has also undergone a significant overhaul. With a keen focus on every one of our players getting the representation they deserve, we've decided to add more options! Down to more skin tones (including albinism/vitiligo) to even adding religious wear and fashion styles. Feel free to send suggestions under this Twitter post!

Last but certainly not least, the programming team (it's just Lumi) has implemented a series of choices which can further personalize the main character and will reflect in-game (such as height or education)!

Our art team has also achieved a significant amount of milestones as well! The car interior/exterior BG art is now a finished masterpiece thanks to chuupew, Lumi, and newcomer, Jin!

BG art of the Hostel and its interior is currently a WIP, but we are expecting its completion pretty soon. All character sprites have been finished and 6/7 have been posted to all of our socials! Glad you guys are loving them. Huge thanks to @134340zzz and chuupew!

We have one more CG in the works as well! Keep an eye out for that~

Our commissioned keychains and standee designs have also been finished! Big thanks to mochibunny & Luii Lafete! The designs were made for Kickstarter, but Kickstarter's been sort of an issue for us recently... so we'll keep you updated with what we decide to do with these newly made designs.

Fun fact! Our character release sheets were actually inspired by my (siilycat/ai) scuffed Apple notes drawings. I was not home, but I still wanted to share my ~~artistic~~ vision SOMEHOW and I'm glad I did so through my notes app! (I am the only one on the team with no artistic talent whatsoever, but they turned it into something great!)

Who let me cook?

After further inspection, we realized how... lifeless and subpar some of the writing feels. So we have decided to revisit it and put life into an otherwise mediocre script.

Writing is pretty important in a visual NOVEL and we don't want to disappoint the people who play it. Hope you guys enjoy the new, revised script. We also had a concerning amount of... grammatical errors relating to past/present tense.

We also added more descriptive sections based on the player's choices which is always fun!

This has been a HUGE month for social media, most especially over on Twitter! We released 6/7 of our characters and VAs were announced! In case you missed it, here are the posts announcing the characters!

Besides that, we have also started working on the itch.io and kickstarter page! Speaking of kickstarter, we're having issues with it so we're thinking of approaching a couple of publishers... Any suggestions or advice? Hit us up on Twitter!

Commissioning music as a person who doesn't know anything about music is a really hard thing to do by the way. Shoutout to our composer, Ben Sigerson for putting up with my bullshit and going COMPLETELY based off of vibes. It's genuinely really good music and we're really low on budget so we thank him for all that he's done.

"What are those?" Stephanie cranes her neck to get a better look.

"I had extra time so I decided to make these." Marinette let Duke help her setting the bags down at the foot of the couch. Cass peeks into one of the bags curiously.

"Vigilante-themed gifts." Marinette beams. "Since everyone's been so excited talking about their favorite vigilantes lately."

Stephanie laughs nervously. "Yeah, excited."

Marinette digs into a bright purple bag, fishing out a custom-made purse that's an obvious nod to Spoiler's theme. Steph gasps and gives her a bone-crushing hug.

The other gifts follow. She made a baggy graphic tee with an intricate artwork of Orphan for Cass. For Duke, she painted a pair of white Nikes to depict the Signal's colors.

"What did you get the others?" Duke asks, holding his shoes to his chest.

Marinette smirks. "You'll see."

The boys are quick to ask for their gifts when they arrived for game night. Dick receives a special lucky charm from her, which has a tiny trapeze trinket and a Nightwing bead.

Jason's gift is the most intricate: an embroidered and studded leather jacket with Red Hood designs at the back and around the sleeves.

"Maybe Red Hood will like it if you ever meet him in person." Marinette steps back after confirming that it's a snug fit.

For Tim, she has crocheted two small ducks, one dressed as Red Robin and another as Tim in his office suit. Tim the Duck even has a coffee mug on its back. Marinette added metal rings so they double as keychains.

"My babies." Tim nods his approval and tucks them in his hoodie pocket.

Damian is the last one to receive his gift.

Marinette gently pulls out a picture frame from a box. "I didn't actually make this one," she explains, "but I got it commissioned instead. Since you have a massive crush on Robin---"

She presents it to her brother: on the frame is a semi-realistic painting of Damian and Robin, where the latter is carried bridal style in the former's arms. Their gazes are locked in a romantic haze.

I wasn't expecting a huge merchandise roundup when I went to the mall yesterday, but Charlotte Russe had a surprise: a pixelated Rick and Morty shirt.

Would people believe me if I said that Adult Swim started marketing Rick and Morty to women in the past few years? Not heavily, but you find merchandise in women's clothing stores.

Since Adult Swim signs off on anything anyway, I think they should release chokers, press-on nails and tarot cards. You can already find fanmade versions online, so make it official!

Afterward, I found this pin at Spencer's. I can't remember which episode, but I swear I've seen this guy on Rick and Morty? He looks like a character from the show. If he's not, he should be.

These blankets aren't new, but I realized for the first time that they're reversible! I guess I wasn't paying attention to the label. They're actually pretty soft and cozy.

Today, I went to the mall closer to my area. Rue 21 is always stocked with Rick and Morty apparel, but they haven't had new designs in a while--maybe one new item at most. But today, I was delighted to walk in and find new merchandise!

Sweatpants! That's quite the pose Rick has there. But that's how we watch Rick and Morty, right? Giggling and kicking our feet?

A new jersey! It's well-designed, but I still don't understand why the artists put the vat of acid on merchandise. It's cursed!

I turned around to find...shorts! Finally, apparel where Rick and Morty are happy for a change.

Hot Topic didn't have anything new, but a customer did compliment my Miss Minutes shirt. I could do a Loki merchandise roundup with the items I see in Hot Topic and "nerdy" stores, but I don't think people follow me for him 🤔

Afterward, it was time to head to Spencer's. Someone thought it'd be cool to set off one of the screaming chickens, but I didn't let it distract me from the new merchandise even as the drone echoed through the store. I guess the employees get used to people setting shit off all day.

Heyyyyyy…. I got a math test in like 2 days and I’m like 3 chapters behind… so ya. I’ll be gone for longer periods of time with less output till I can get my stuff together. (Already do that but eeeee.)

Todays plushie is of a pc from @rttnpnkpmpkn

I was trying to make the doll more simple. The dolls i usually make are for pretty purposes only so they wouldn’t be used for making the doll (inspo? Yes, but the company would need to redraw into a simple and clearer form to actually be usable.)

The hair has more defined lines for it to be able to have the embroidery lines put there. I was doing more research on dolls recently so I’ll talk about stuff more below.

Doll break down below

Braids, animal traits (just any limbs that aren’t the usual base, even elf ears), braids, multi color hair, complex embroidery, and other stuff will cost extra with companies. I never really brought up what is and isn’t part of the initial cost. Usually the price you pay is for 1. The design they make with you and 2. The doll itself. The doll will not be clothed as that is extra (an entire outfit for them is usually around 20 dollars) and will not have a skeleton (makes them posable) unless extra is payed. What I design for is the usual 20cm dolls but there are more the exist. The second most common is 10cm, they are used for keychains or as a child for the 20cm dolls (from what I’ve seen people do). Dolls with things like animal ears, elf ears, tails, wings, etc usually have 20-30 dollars added on to the original pricing. Big body mods such as spider bottom half, octopus bottom half, longer limbs, etc, generally large changed to the body are both hard to find pricing for and hard to find customs of. There are premade dolls that are like this but having one made personally is something I have seen as of yet so I have no reference for it. Also a know most doll makers sell the clothes and also have custom clothes on their stores as well. 10cm is usually 70-80 dollars while 20cm is 100-200. Buying around the holidays gives opportunities for discounts on websites like Etsy.

Why did I bring up the extra limb thing and body mod? Well a lot of DOL characters have large chest and I was thinking for a while on how that would work on these dolls. For past dolls I’ve been doing different things, not doing the chest, just putting embroidery for chest lines, or drawing them on. So I decided I wanted to actually see if this was possible. Probably is!

Drawing wise I’d say I put to much detail on the bell. It’s kind of funny so I didn’t change it but I’ll do a more simple one next time I do a doll in the ‘drawn for manufacturing’ style. Also I don’t know whether or not I made the eyes too wide? I picked a reference photo where the character was very small and far away (not a good move on my part).

ColdFlash fanmerch response summary!

I'm happy to share an update based on the collective responses to the interest check survey and share my plan for next steps. TL;DR several designs are underway and I'm excited :D

First up, a response summary of the major takeaways.

Most wanted fanmerch items:

1. Plush 2. Keychains 3. Stationery 4. Enamel Pins (tied) 4. Custom Figurines/Statues 5. Drinkware 6. Wearable/useable accessories (hats, socks, scarves, bags) 7. Soft home goods (blankets, towels, pillows)

Since plush took an early lead, and because it will take the longest in terms of manufacturing time, I got underway with plush designs foremost. While I would love to make all of these things, I’m figuring out what will be most viable to make and how I can supplement options for the rest via my existing print-on-demand storefronts.

Thinking about costs:

Another factor that I want to be considerate of based on responses is the overall cost for any items I make; for example, while I could design super-detailed and intricate poseable plush with removable clothes, they would easily cost $100+ USD each and - while I'm sure they'd be neat - they'd be rather unaffordable. As I'm planning to front the manufacturing costs for everything, they'd also be quite the investment for me too;;;

So, the plush I'm designing will be smaller (around 10 centimeters) with a keychain attachment, and my goal is to try to get the set of both to be around $40 USD (+shipping) or under, which will be a challenge but I'm happy to be working with a great manufacturer to bring these lads to life!

For other items I’d like to tackle, I’m similarly aiming to be mindful of overall cost, especially for this first batch of items; I’d rather err on the side of caution and approachability however I can.

How will the merch be sold?

When merch items eventually go up for sale, it will be via Etsy as the primary storefront. This is for a few reasons:

Platform familiarity & safety for both buyers and sellers.

Etsy has price breaks on shipping and has other things set up that make it internationally viable - Etsy did the hard work with navigating VAT so I don’t have to!

While Etsy does have some fees/cost to me as the seller, I can factor those into the overall cost of any item being sold through there without it being a massive extra cost (both in terms of time & money).

What’s it gonna look like?

In terms of design aesthetic, the predominant preferences were for either stylized realism or cuter stuff, with an excellent additional write-in contingent of folks who like it when things err on the side of subtle. I like to call this latter design aesthetic “secret handshake” where it’s a strong design first, and then - upon closer inspection - you notice the reference; this tends to be more approachable for folks to incorporate into everyday situations like taking/wearing something to work no matter what their dayjob situation is like! Obviously each option has its own challenges and lends to certain things more than others, so it’s going to be fun to balance designs for these approaches with some different items. I’m happily comfortable creating in all of these design styles and excited to do more!

Fanzine interest summary:

100% of responses are interested in a fanzine!

100% of responses indicated support for a fanzine which included a mix of both new and old/previously-shared works.

Format preference is for a main fanzine to be G/T (using AO3 ratings), with an optional secondary collection separate from the zine for any M/E/NSFW content.

I’m excited at the prospect of working together with folks to craft a fanzine! Before doing that, however, I’d process to do some diligence for organization and planning so that it won’t be a doomed undertaking before it begins. I also obviously won’t be tackling that on my own so would want to determine a team and process for production and transparency. Pre-orders also present their own tricky challenges but are often necessary when doing production runs for unknown interest without taking on a great individual financial burden up-front, so I’d want to ensure the zine for any M/E/NSFW content.

You always got exactly what you were looking for when coming to him, leaving as a satisfied customer, parting with a kiss and a lingering promise of a return. Without strings or expectations, it was perfect to rival the existence of your otherwise tainted heart.

Finishing yet another exchange of afternoon delight, coming down from a high first intercepted when you’d arrived by his generous use of marijuana you were granted from his attempts at being chivalrous, you prepared to leave his trailer before feeling him take hold of your wrist.

“Always here when you need another hit, Prada-” This was the name he had given you due to having first met draped in the designer brand; everything from your perfume to your shoes, and it simply stuck. You grinned at how it offered a bit of sweetness to your exchange, just the right amount of being personal without actual emotion complicating what this was; drugs with benefits. You leaned upwards, offering one final kiss before turning to leave.

“Hey…” A voice pulled your focus from the collection of keys tangled in their multitude of one too many keychains. As your eyes pulled upwards to meet with none other than Rafe Cameron. His identity was anything but a mystery as you'd seen him linger for his own fix every so often as you would be wrapped around Barry. But you’d never spoken more than a glance to one another, and even that was fleeting as you only ever saw him as a mindless, trust fund kid working out his cocaine frustrations one line at a time-dare you say, even timid.

How wrong you were…

“Can I-uh, give you a ride?” He offered, motioning to the bike set at his back, its recently charged engine still humming as you held up your keys, hoping this would serve as your polite rejection. But in your attempts to move to the car stationed just off center of the front of the trailer, he’d collect your wrist.

“Wasn’t a request…”

“Let go of me-”

“You see, your boyfriend decided to take something of mine,” There was something almost erotic in the flames behind his eyes as he spoke to you, you couldn’t help but admire it as you knew the same burned behind yours on occasion. And yet, you knew where Barry was inconsequential, someone like Rafe Cameron was anything but.

“And now I intend to take what’s his-”

“Sorry to disappoint you, But I’m nobody’s-” He took a step closer, taking your jaw within his hand before walking you to the hood of your own car, pushing you down against it as you’d made note of the burn mark, still fresh, on his left wrist. You recalled Barry telling you about this and how it was debt paid with interest still waiting to be received, but you never imagined it would ever involve you.,

“Wrong again. Right now, you’re my whore-” You were turned against the hood, bent over, with his leg between your own to keep you from running away while he forced you down by a hand to the back of your neck, fingers eating painfully so into your skin as you grunted.

“Got a pretty smart mouth…Be good and it’ll get to stay pretty,” He threatened, leaving a sense of ambiguity if this meant disfigurement or using it for his cock, but either way, frightening you enough to stay silent.

“Did you let him come inside of you?” You kept silent, not wanting to endorse his actions while also not wanting to anger him as you were well aware he was able to use you as he saw fit, something validated in how you were unable to move less than five seconds after an unofficial first interaction.

“That’s fine, I’ll find out for myself-” He removed his knee to investigate your core, allowing you the chance to take your body weight upwards and slip from his grasp.

But he was swift, managing to take you back under his thrall, with a chuckle of mischief no less, before taking you back towards the car. But without the ability to pin you against anything, he was left struggling to keep you behaved, not that he had expected you to be. Because of this, he’d decide to surprise you into submission, taking you against him with a passionate kiss that made you temporarily breathless.

As much as you wanted to hate him and curse him from beneath his actions, you couldn’t deny how this brazen action was arousing to a fault. For just a moment, you’d reciprocated, the full need behind his kiss keeping you there, as it was all he needed to use it against you.

“I knew it…No way he could fuck you like I could…” He scoffed, lifting you off of your feet by wrapping you against him and moving you back to the hood of the car.

“He wants to take my bike, I’m gonna fuck his girl-fair’s fair…” He seemed to speak more to himself than to you, either way, a comment which would be left lingering in the air, before you were undressed, more willing than not, which was infuriating for your morality. But what you expected to find in trembling fingers and a novice lover was rivaled with possession and necessity brought to you in such a way that you never knew you needed until now. It was noted by him in the flickers of excitement behind your gaze and weakening reservation-all he needed to continue.

“You gonna take my cock like a good fucking slut and go back to him dripping with me and MAYBE I’ll let you come-” He explained, bringing a slap to your ass as you winced, half aroused and half in pain as he was cruel, compassion existing only in a distant regret of having not done this when he’d seen you sooner.

“You’re gonna be so fucking sore-” He muttered, unlatching his belt and sheathing himself in to you, enough lubrication to keep you from belting out in pain from his initial actions, but his thrusts bottoming out inside leaving you clawing at the hood of your car.

“Fuck, baby-he’s not taking care of you, is he? You’re so desperate for it and you don’t even know me…” He laughed.

“But you’ll know my cock by the time I’m done with you-” Another slap to your ass brought another gasp as he took your chin and bent you backwards until he could tower over you.

“Open-” He spoke quickly, winded from his own thrusts as you obliged, too overtaken with lust to care. After all, you belonged to nobody but yourself and Rafe was another distraction you could allow from your own trials and tribulations. A very BIG and thorough distraction at that…

“Dirty whore…” He shook his own head, returning to his thrusts before quickening them, making you tremble before withdrawing.

“I want you to see how good you take it…” You were taken on your back, legs pulled to his waist as he aligned himself inside of you once again. But he wasn’t quick in these plummets. Instead, he’d thrust once and pull back everything but the tip as his other hand took your hair to guide you upwards.

About:

ArtisXan is a small business owned and operated by queer, disabled, neurodivergent, trans individuals. We sell a wide range of items, including discreet and fun chewlrey made of body-safe silicone intended for use by teens and adults.

Xan has been crafting since they were in middle school. They shifted focus from knitting to digital art. The chewelry business started when Xan found that having a body-safe silicone necklace was a great way to help them stop biting their nails, but could only find bulky designs that stood out. They used their own style to start assembling necklaces that were subtle and matched their aesthetic while still providing the physical stimulus of the larger designs. Since then, they have expanded from necklaces and bracelets to keychains, zipper pulls, and pens.

FAQ

Who is this good for?

These are especially useful for people who need items to fidget with, pick at, chew, squish, pull, or stretch! All the chewelry is made using materials that can be cleaned and are body-safe. Any item can still be a choking hazard, so these are not intended for young children or individuals who may be at risk for swallowing objects.

Are these chewable?

Yes! All of the beads we use on the fidget chewelry are made from food-grade silicone and can safely be chewed!

Where can I buy these?

You can find all of them on Xan's Etsy store! It is under the same name as their TikTok and Instagram (ArtisXan)! Their work is also in physical stores in Wisconsin.

Can I use these even if I'm not diagnosed, or am not neurodivergent?

Absolutely! Chewelry is not limited to any specific need or diagnosis. You can wear it just because you like the way it looks, or feels!

Do you make the beads yourself?

With two exceptions, our beads come from other suppliers. We don't have the facilities to make our own beads. We buy them from a combination of distributors and also directly from manufacturers. However, we did run a kickstarter to make two custom beads in collaboration with an artist who works with body-safe silicone! These are the morel mushrooms and the moon phase beads.

Are the other designs yours?

Yes! The stickers, art prints, pins, and other items are designed by Xan!

Can you make custom pieces?

We can customize some of our items, yes! We are happy to work with people to make pieces they'll be happy with, such as personalized pronoun chewelry! We are restricted to the beads we have and the prices may vary but we will always do our best to find what works best for you!

Will you ever make [insert bead shape here]?

We work hard to find pieces that suit Xan's brand and what people request! But we can only make things that manufacturers have created so we have a somewhat limited scope of options. However we are always looking for new beads and frequently find ones that hadn't been out before!

Why is [insert piece] more expensive?

Some of the beads we use are more expensive than others and so to offset the price we have to adjust the price a bit! We do our best to make sure that all the pieces are still within an affordable range for as many people as possible! And we do weekly giveaways to give more people a chance to get pieces even if they can’t afford them.

Can you make it without the small bead at the bottom or string it differently than shown?

Absolutely! Feel free to leave a note when you purchase to let us know you'd prefer a knot at the end, or for the main bead to be strung sideways without a knot or bead below it!

Why are are some of the pride necklaces different than the flags?

Some flags use so many colors, or so many shades of the same color, that we can't get enough of the beads to make the flag exactly, or to make the flag at all! For the Sunset Lesbian Pride and Aromantic pride, we have not been able to find body-safe beads that match the rest and come in different shades of orange, pink, and green, so some colors get combined for those designs. We keep an eye out for bead colors though!

Why don't you have a pride flag/pronoun necklace for [blank]?

Either we haven't had anyone request them, no one bought them when we did sell them, or they are ones we can't feasibly make. For example, we love the Progress Pride Flag but if we tried to make it we would run out of space for all the colors and it would be way too expensive for people to buy! (We do have a Progress Pride focus bead though!)

You can always contact us if there is a pronoun you want to use, or to ask if we could make a flag. We are willing to try!

What kind of bead should I get?

It depends what you want to use it for! The higher durability beads are best for biting and can take more heavy-duty fidgeting. Squishy beads are better for twisting and pinching. Textured beads are good for picking and rubbing.

How often do you make new designs?

We release new items and themes on a regular basis. Patreon and Discord users can get previews of what is coming out soon, and even suggest ideas. The chewelry depends on what we can source, but we continue to look for new beads. Xan designs stickers and other art frequently, and now that we have had a successful kickstarter we are open to the idea of making more unique beads.

Welp, 2023 sure did exist.

No drawing to post with this. I've been quite inactive, mostly because of uni work and other issues related to it. Burn-out and all that. Thankfully I'm graduating this year and at last I'll be done with it all.

However 2024 might be the beginning of new things with me. I can't speak with certainty about drawing projects, but I'm currently preparing what's necessary to create merch!

I've been working on Inazuma Eleven keychains for months now, and once I'm done with the tests I'll be able to sell them! I'm also preparing stickers with the sitting Touhou character drawings, and I have a good amount of designs already. Perhaps in the future I'll also create sticker sheets. Custom designs for both keychains and stickers will also be available!

But about fandoms and projects, I'm. Still stuck constantly switching between Inazuma Eleven, Touhou and Bastards of Ethuline as my main interest. Not surprising.

I still haven't done some of the character sheets for BoE, so perhaps I'll do that sometime. But I will say that I have created some secondary characters for the story! While I won't fully reveal them here until I'm done with the first folks, I can guarantee they will be present for next year's Artfight ;)

Not much else I have to say here. Hopefully I'll post more, but 'till my studies end, my posting schedule will be very inconsistent. My working schedule will stabilize in March, so I'll probably start posting more after that.

My latest vograce order is here! The one with a few experimental items and samples!

First thing here in the video is a random premade sample of a wooden shaker charm. So they sent me this one here, with some plastic beads inside. And I must say, while I like the typical glitter shaker charms, the sound this makes is really lovely! I was surprised, because the sample photo showed a shaker with smaller designed pieces inside and no beads, so I didn't even realize that was something uniquely offered with the wood shakers. I can absolutely see myself designing things this material will lend itself well to.

Next up I got a single custom sample (did not realized they offered custom samples until recently ;w;" ) of a basic wooden keychain, and since they offered a few different wood type options I chose ashwood for this one. and I chose some artwork I did for my partner, so I could gift this keychain to it <3

I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and look of this. There does appear to be some kind of finish on top of the print to prevent it from just getting scratched off. If you run your finger on top, you can feel the texture of the wood underneath, so it's not perfectly smooth like acrylic, but this is something I really like the organic look of. The one major stipulation is the sides dont seem to be sealed, so I doubt this is waterproof. it would probably be okay getting some raindrops on it, but a downpour? I don't know. I suppose I can experiment with the wooden shaker sample I don't mind ruining to see how it holds up against water.

Overall though I really love this, and while I don't think it will fully replace acrylic for some things, I would really love making new items with wood.

Finally, I simply used my shop logo to try out making some mini wooden pins and actually these really came out more exciting than I thought. I chose pine for the wood for these, so it's a little lighter than the ashwood! I think this looks GREAT for the purpose of making nature themed items, bugs, plants, mushrooms, this is the perfect material hands down. like when comparing the acrylic caterpillar charm I did, it just felt... idk, it just didn't seem fully Right to me but I didn't know what was missing.

this could most definitely go on a piece of clothing but one thing I totally didn't consider until having it in front of me is how perfect it would be as a pushpin! Look how cute that is!!!!

way more lightweight than enamel pins (which don't really ever plan on producing because I'm just not all that into them), and cuter than plain acrylic.

After cutting the design, you can place the sheet on your coasters.

4. Customized T-shirt

I designed this T-shirt while I was learning to transfer the design to fabrics. I especially ordered a blank T-shirt from Amazon and added this vinyl design. For this T-shirt, I used Iron-On in three different colors, and I had to cut them separately by changing the material. If you want to make it easier, you can use the exact vinyl color. I would recommend you to use white-colored vinyl as it looks really great on darker clothes.

5. Mug

When my little sister turned 18, I wanted to gift her something handmade. Hence, I made her this beautiful mug on her 18th birthday. I had to use printable vinyl to create this colorful happy birthday mug. Since my design had colorful elements, I wanted to print it on vinyl and transfer it using my Cricut Mug Press. 6. Acrylic Keychain

As you can see in the above picture, I created this for my best friend, Michelle. She was one of my school’s best friends. Hence, I made this for her on her 27th birthday. I also added the first letter of her name to make her feel special.
