It's still so wild to me that Kitty Unpretty wrote an entire DCU series without having read a comic in her life, based purely on the idea: "what if Bruce Wayne was just a really sweet oddball?" And it turned out ×10 better than the actual comics and wound up with its own TV tropes page.
Nice and kind characters are really fucking interesting actually, when written by someone who's not a boring hack.

Aki I'm vibrating reading your outline of the Moonlight Trio's relationship and the in-n-out, how people leave and come back, and aaaaaaahh my heart is so full for them! - @limey-self-inserts
Tumblr media
LIMEYYYY, thank u sm!! I literally have been thinking about this...on and off since the end of C2. I love Molly so, so much. But oh, am I truly polyam; every time I see a new side to this purple goofball, this chaotic mess, I adore him. Every part that refracts the light- that devours it- I am entranced all over again.
How wonderful it is! To love someone so much that they can be- in so many ways- 3 different people. To meet them all, carefully, reading each line of their heart; wounds and all.
To love each and every one, in a different way from the last.
For him to always have a place in the heart of two people, who will meet him at the door every time, and smile at the sight of him. “What trouble did you get into now, huh~?”
(Lucien didn’t get to know much of that side of them, but Mollymauk lurking in his head- his dreams- taught him the craving. It echoes in the new, whole soul of Kingsley, who cannot deny he aches to be nestled in between them once more like a persistent cat; not allowing the others to sleep without being cuddled, himself.)
And who knows... Maybe someday, on a ship called “Mollymauk,” Stellar and River will try out that pirate life Kingsley loves so much. ;3

crying laughing (mostly just crying) over the long goodbye job rn because what the fuck guys. what the FUCK.
(spoilers for the last episode of leverage season 5)
i still had so much hope for them even after hardison fell and parker got shot. i was crossing my fingers because eliot will be there and they’ll get away because they always get away ?? right ?? but then they make it the van and eliot gets shot. right in the fucking chest.
THE VAN SCENE. I WAS DISTRAUGHT. DISTRAUGHT Y’ALL. AND THEN HARDISON’S LAST WORDS ARE TO WONDER IF ELIOT IS OKAY ??? “HERE I AM”??? WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT. AND THE THREE OF THEM FUCKING DIE HOLDING EACH OTHER’S HANDS WHAT DID THEY DO THAT TO US FOR. (something something parker dying alone when she’s finally learned what it means to have a family something something eliot dies first because to watch the people he’s dedicated his life to protecting die in front of him is to die a second and third time something something)
and then the cherry on top when nate and sophie look back and the three of them are dead and bleeding out and clutching on to each other in death what do they do ??? they don’t even consider giving themselves up they drive that van up the bridge and into the damn river.
nate’s enraged yelling at the agent had me wide eyed with my hand over my mouth. fucking STUNNED yall. nate is really no one’s favorite but my god the fucking pain in his voice. 10/10. BUT THEN of course that’s not all there is to it. the switch from grieving fury to composed nonchalance was both peak comedy and absolute whiplash.
AND HERE’S STERLING !! everyone’s favorite slime ball <3 and ho ho ? he’s mad at nate for killing the rest of the team ?? they grew on him didn’t they— like clumps of adorable mold that just keep coming back <3
and finally. the master plan is revealed. sterling did scare the living shit out of me shooting “hardison” like that but of course nate had a better plan than what they believed. crazy to think that the whole damn emotional rollercoaster was really just set up for the actual break in. (eliot’s exasperated eye roll and fall at nate’s “bang !” was everything.) starring sterling as the trojan horse! an amazing choice all around.
AND !! we have a proposal !! proposals plural actually because no way in fucking hell was that not a confession from eliot. that scene was the height of romance and i will be DAMNED if someone tries to tell me that was just normal best friend shit. OT3 IS REAL !!!
in conclusion: love leverage, they have the amazingest show to ever show and a finale better than any other out there. 200/10 would watch again and i am currently penning a love letter to john rogers and dean devlin.

Okay. Let's talk Jamie and Roy getting beers and being idiots.
I know we are all still processing that whirlwind of a finale. I'm understanding that a lot of people hate the Roy & Jamie scene because it is 1) backslide-y (true) 2) they treat Keeley like a prize to be won (true) and 3) it's OOC (I actually disagree with this one, but I can understand why it's complicated). I want to start off by saying I completely see where this opinion is coming from and I respect everyone who just hates the scene because it shows normally kind characters being very unkind to each other etc. This is less me arguing against that as it is me trying to articulate (at great length, sorry) why it not only worked for me, but I genuinely liked it.
I like to think I strike a balance between loving everything the show has done and hating overwhelmingly on a show I claim to enjoy, but sure, you could definitely argue that I'm just giving my favorite characters the benefit of the doubt, or making excuses for them, because they're my favorite characters. I'll admit I'm historically very forgiving of all the main characters' many fuck-ups on Ted Lasso, but that's because I think the show works best when it emphasizes how kindness, forgiveness, friendship and love can still operate between imperfect, flawed people. I like seeing them make realistic mistakes much more than I like everyone handling everything perfectly, I'll bite.
So, back to Jamie and Roy. I enjoyed their finale plot because despite them making a world of mistakes, the regression felt very, very human. I don't agree at all with the take that this somehow erased all the progress they've made this season or the friendship the show has lovingly crafted between them. In fact, I think this actively reiterated it! (Note: I am operating with my ot3 goggles on at all times, so I'm going to write this with that at least partially in mind, but I think the gist of it works even if you ignore the bits that get a little shippy.)
For both Jamie and Roy, Keeley and their love for her is a major beacon guiding them. I think that is the crisp, clear thing in both of their heads this episode: Keeley is the love of my life. And they both believe that wholeheartedly, and they both want to be with her. (and it's goofy to pretend this came out of nowhere for Jamie/since when is Jamie still in love with her/etc. because he literally told her and us this last season and nothing that has happened since has indicated otherwise, btw.) But there's also something else now, which is their relationship with each other, battling with their Keeley thoughts. It's like, in Roy's head, for instance, I imagine there are two wolves: on the one hand he loves Keeley, and wants to be with her, and plans to win back her heart. On the other hand, there's his love and care for Jamie Tartt, which is much less defined and inarticulate and maybe still a little repressed, but just as overpowering. His love for Keeley feels so simple and clear in comparison, while his love for Jamie is something complicated and unsure, and in this episode, he's leaning hard into the first to avoid unpacking the second.
So Roy starts off strong. He sees Jamie with Keeley in the hallway and he doesn't flip out!! Instead, he approaches Jamie calmly, and invites him out for beers. Think about how different this is from his reaction to Jamie's love confession to Keeley in season 2. This is Roy's growth in action, and it's a resounding sign of just how important Jamie is to Roy now. Even when he is feeling jealous of the woman he loves potentially leaving him behind for a man he loves (a completely natural reaction, let's be so real, if not a "good" one), he also knows that for as much as he wants to be with Keeley, he doesn't want to lose his friendship with Jamie.
As for Jamie, I know some people took his reaction and subsequent response to Nate's question as like, shock at the realization that he and Roy are actually friends now, which I agree is something that had to have come earlier in the timeline (what was Mom City if not that) and would seem very out of place at this point. What I saw it as instead was Jamie's brain more just. sort of short-circuiting? Because: holy shit isn't this the best day ever? First Keeley agreed to go to Brazil with me and now Roy is asking me on a date for beers? this is so sound. This invite is out of place behavior from Roy even within the parameters of their friendship, because they still have a match to win and Roy has banned Jamie from beers as part of his training and despite them being close now I find it hard to believe that Roy often comes up to him right there in dressing room to ask him to grab a beer with no pretense.
Therefore, they're already walking into that bar in completely different head-spaces. Jamie isn't planning to discuss Keeley, and for Roy that is his major intention behind the evening. Jamie is nervous and downing his beer, and Roy is internally panicking, I'm imagining, over when and how to bring Keeley up. I think Roy is thinking: Well, I don't intend to stop pursuing Keeley, I genuinely don't want Jamie's feelings to be hurt when I get back together with her (and yes, it is a huge presumption for him to assume Keeley's going to eventually take him back. But I think it's also an understandable one), so I've got to tell Jamie I care about him, and that I'm going to keep going after Keeley, and he needs to be okay with that so that this won't get in the way of our friendship, which I also desperately need and am unwilling to give up. In his mind, Jamie is of course going to accept all of this, because Roy and Keeley are soulmates, which Jamie will clearly recognize deep down because it is so obvious and right and anyway, Jamie always does what Roy tells him to do (again, this is all misguided thinking. But we can see how Roy's anxious little brain that's bad at processing feelings and holding space for emotions could get himself here, can't we?).
So again, we start off strong with Roy saying he's proud of Jamie and them both thanking one another. But then Roy's blurting out nonsense about how Jamie just needs to pull himself out of the running and just let Roy be with Keeley. Which is obviously not on. And Jamie responds, simply, with No. I'd argue this is also a huge step for Jamie. Jamie really doesn't tell Roy no anymore, he doesn't tell anyone no. Jamie has spent so much of his time since coming back to Richmond working to be the person everyone around him wants and expects him to be. This is him fighting for something he wants for once, doing what is best for him. It was a fabulous progression to see. In the moment, boy does it work Roy up, because why is Jamie not agreeing with me, Jamie always agrees with me? but obviously at this point, Jamie is in the right. His relationship with Keeley was no less meaningful than Roy's just because Roy says it was, Roy doesn't have any claim on her, and there's no real reason Jamie should not try and shoot his shot with Keeley if Roy is going to do the same.
Here's where things start to spiral. Established flaws we know about Roy: he's competitive. He's bad at voicing his feelings productively. And he is territorial about the people he loves, a category that safely includes both Jamie and Keeley at this point in time, for better and sometimes worse. Yes, his next actions are grossly possessive over Keeley, yes Roy has made a lot of effort over the past year to do and be better than that, to break free of that cycle. But look, it's not a linear process. He's going to still mess up, and he does here. In fact he's downright mean, weaponizing Keeley against Jamie and throwing having sex with Keeley a month ago into Jamie's face, bragging about it, boasting. Same old cycle, same old patterns of ego-driven, prideful mistakes.
Which promptly prompts Jamie to also fuck up by bringing up the leak. It's a concentrated response intended to get a suitable rise out of Roy, because Roy has really, genuinely hurt him here, and Jamie knows bringing up that video is the one thing that will hurt Roy just as much in turn. It's not the right thing to do, obviously, but again, it's such a human thing to do. Hurt the person who's hurt you right back, even if you're hurting someone else (Keeley) by extension. Mind you, Jamie came here expecting a hangout (/date) with Roy over a rare beer, and instead he got Roy being a complete asshole and lecturing nonsense at him out of seemingly nowhere. He reacts to this change-up, well, not greatly. There is something so messy and emotionally complicated happening here and it hinges on how very much Jamie and Roy care about each other, not negates it.
Keeley, queen that she is, rejects them both out of hand and kicks them out not the curb immediately because they're both being complete idiots, acting like they're so gracious in giving her the honor and privilege of choosing between them. Not to mention they've clearly got something going on between them they haven't worked through and that sure as shit isn't her problem, is it? Keeley (presumably, and I wish we had seen this) calls them out their shit and tosses them right back out the door.
Which leaves Jamie and Roy to lament how they've let their egos get away from them, they've been idiots (which they acknowledge immediately) and decide that now they should go for kebabs, presumably to actually hangout this time, not to interrupt themselves with inflated talk about who "deserves" Keeley more. They both screwed up, they acknowledge it, and all they can do is try again tomorrow, and in the meantime, go on that kebab date.
I guess....I can just see where both of them are coming from? it's not mature behavior, obviously, it's maybe not what we would have liked to have seen from them in the finale episode of the show. But it was regression that I didn't feel impeded their overall progress. Roy in particular was being a complete dick about it, but that's why the very next morning he's finally knocking on the Diamond Dogs' door. And honestly, that conversation was heartbreaking. When Roy admitted he'd expected, after a year of putting in the work, to be a whole new person...god. This is a man who still completely hates himself, to the point where he can't quite grasp that he can be better where he's at now, that he doesn't have to transform magically into someone new in order to do right by himself and others. And so he has to consciously determine, once again, to do better, be better.
The message is: change isn't linear, you're going to fuck-up, and fall back into old patterns. What matters is trying every day to do better together, and be better for one another, than you were the day before. That is the meeting point all three sides of the royjamiekeeley triangle were heading towards by the end of the episode.
So yes, it was rushed, because no one gets much screen time in a finale (and the overarching issue with this season anyway is god awful pacing. The last three episodes could've easily been the second half of the season, while the first half of the season was stretched out and largely extraneous). And yes, I would've liked a more thoughtful follow-up conversation between Roy and Keeley or all three of them. My biggest issue was that we didn't get to hear Keeley's voice hardly at all. I would at the very least have liked to have seen her setting them straight at her kitchen table, because turning both of them down signifies very important growth in her, too, and I would've liked exploring that more explicitly. So it wasn't perfect. But I still liked it, I really did.

thinking a lot about leverage crossovers and the one currently on my mind is a spy x family one
parker and eliot coincidentally ‘move in’ (set up headquarters) into the empty apartment next to the forgers and immediately clock something really fucking weird is going on.
sophie knows a grift when she sees one and can smell that fake-marriage-fake-family from a mile away
breanna pretends to be a few years younger and gets enrolled as sophie and harry’s adopted child (adoption? THE ELEGANCE!!!). she keeps noticing this one really young girl giving her really obvious stares (that her friend keeps trying to shake her out of doing). breanna knows something is up with that kid but is too busy doing her part of the con to figure out exactly what
hardison (who is back from space) has been spending most of his time as hacker in the apartment set up, shut in so that he doesn’t blow parker and eliot’s cover as newlyweds by randomly coming and going. and the living situation? oh no. it’s only a one bedroom apartment and there’s only one bed and three of them.
it all comes to a head when parker is sneaking through the school at the same time as loid, both so quiet and undetectable that they don’t notice each other until they basically stumble into one another. across the city, eliot is taking out some goons that coincidentally got on the garden’s bad side and yor busts down the door like the kool aid man and they both stare at each other like 😐 (the goons are too stunned and weirded out by the sudden vibes in the room to run away)
from there parker and eliot separately try to convince their counterparts that they should come clean to their partners because, trust me, it’ll be fine it will work out for the best because if there’s one thing they can’t do it’s mind their own business lmao
even after they finish their con hardison isn’t letting them leave until the forgers come clean and realize their true feelings because he’s a romantic like that (like y’all aren’t too, I see you parker and eliot)
anya has no idea what’s going on but is having the time of her life and has now also adopted herself a new crime family
it’s now her turn to match make the ot3 into finally getting together (anya can read your mind eliot, you’re DONE FOR)

Hi ! Here cottage life with Lilia and the Knight of Dawn as Silver mom in the past Anon (I think I will need to find myself an smiley-)
First, thank you ! I'm happy this idea please you and other people 😊
But yes this OT3 is so so cute- My brain run free for it since then.
The relationship those three have...it's just melting my heart 🥹 The perfect trio. Lilia is a bit jalous that the first baby isn't from him -bat boi have his pride- but he just love Silver so much it doesn't matter much 🥺 Little funny fact about Lilia/Knight bromance: before Silver birth, him and the Knight (need to find a proper surname for him-) had a discussion. Like they didn't know who was the father between them, they had a unique way to deal with it: after the baby birth- when who is the father will be more clear- the guy that isn't the bio dad would name the baby. So no one would felt left away from the family.
Lilia blessed the baby at birth, and like in Chapter 5, the baby hair turned white. So Silver's name was back like that 😂
So much things about them...like, rumors runs fast thanks to the forest fairies. But the little family -except when Lilia is called to the castle- don't go often outside to not scare any fairy. So...one day, a toddler Silver ran away to the famous "Castle" were "Dada Lilia" was kept against his will by "This cruel brat of a Princess who want him to "babysit" (Something really cruel and scary from Dada Lilia word-). So Meleanor first encounter with Lilia rumored "son" was this child -monkey- pleading her to -politely- give his Dada Lilia back.
And this is only some funny story 😭 The guilt our time traveler could felt is also interresting. Silver was born and will grow up way before what he was supposed to do. Did this child is -will be- even the same Silver she knew ? And he will never met Sebek in this life. Will this child will be ressentful ? What kind of right does she have to change history -fate- like that ? What will happen if she dissapear, like she came- and go back to her time ? What will happen to her new found family, her husbands, her child ?
But a single giggle of her lovely silver haired baby is enough to make her worries dissapear in a smile. How scary it is, to be so happy at the point you fear the day it will be end.

Hello Cottage Life Anonie 🌻🌺💚
I’m labeling you Cottage Life Anonie until you find a emoji or nickname you prefer ☺️🌺 please feel free to choose whichever that makes you comfortable and happy.
Anonie you have no idea how happy I was when I saw you in my inbox, I was already kicking my feet in excitement ☺️🌺
Hehehe my evil plan of getting more people to like this OT3 is working 😈🙌 lolol I’m really happy that you and others like it. It makes me happy and I’m glad I can share these thoughts with others who like it too.
A knight of dawn x reader x lilia vanrouge pairing has so much potential and routes that I’m just thrilled at all the possibilities 💞💞
Lilia being jealous of the first child not being his is adorable. I can just see him make that face that says he’s pouting but denying it 😂 but he adores Silver so much and he’s also your child, so how could he no love him? Baby Silver with his glittering eyes and you just being so loving with him is perfect.
I adore that agreement Knight and Lilia had about naming the child. It’s so sweet and smart! And another way to include the mutual partner! No one is left out and everyone is loved 🥹 it’s so sweet!! (We need a name for Dawny, I hope we get one for him in twst 🙏)
Oh oh Anonie! Now that you mention the hair color change, some theorize (because of the sprite) that the upper layers of Knight’s hair is blond and the bottom layers are silver!! So if that’s the case, Lilia just turned Silver’s hair fully silver which is also what Dawny has on his lower tresses so this bromance keeps getting sweeter and the connection is still there 🥹
Absjsjshs tiny Baby Silver just toddling away to the castle to save his Dada Lilia like a true knight in shining armor!!! That’s so freaking adorable 🥹💞😭 I can imagine that the little fairies that love Silver and love mischief helped teleport him to the castle where he meets Meleanor and Lilia. You have this sweet child asking so nicely and the Queen’s heart just melts (she also adores his bravery). Meleanor then tries to smite Lilia because of the “bratty” comments 🤣🤣
Now I can imagine Meleanor require a weekly dinner with everyone, she can see Baby Silver, and if malleus is hatched, he can have a playmate. She can also meet the Knight and the Reader (not on the battlefield for once). It’s awkward at first but nothing that time and Silver’s bubbly laughter can’t fix 🥹💞
There’s so many angst potentials! Ahhhh the guilt of the time traveler wife. Silver not growing up with Sebek, not living in the same timeline ( would his friend be mama zigvolt in this case? 🤔).
Would wife tell the husbands about her situation? What happened in her timeline? I feel like if they knew they would understand, and their hearts would ache from the sacrifices she made to have them be happy. 🥹😭
I want to focus a little bit on the if she ever went back to the present, well, this new present that’s the same yet so different. I feel like if YN did go back she would at first be devastated once she realizes she’s back and what she lost. But but but, we have powerful fairies on our side. 👏🙌
I believe in this case, with the help of Meleanor and Lilia (maybe even Levan? He’s smart so he might know more about it). They would put both Silver and The Knight of Dawn to sleep until they are reunited with YN 🥹💚
So, this would solve a few problems actually! Sebek would be in the picture again, and we have Malleus and his parents, and of course, we have Lilia too.
Lilia could be waiting for YN at the spot she said she was teleported from the first time and they could have their reunion before waking the other two. 🥹💞💞 The reunion would be so sweet between the four. Lilia was waiting but at least he had his sister and baby malleus and the rest of his family and friends while he waited. He can go to that cottage and relive memories and remind himself of his loves.
The way this OT3 AU has a grip on me 😭💞💚
Anonie, Anonie, I am shaking you.
“How scary it is, to be so happy at the point you fear the day it will be end.” This line!! This line!! Oh my heart. 😭💞💞
Thank you for sending this in Anonie 💚🌺, ahhh I’m enjoying this so much and my mind is whirling with so many possibilities. You’re my partner in crime now ☺️🌺

Thank you! So here I am to infodump, full of gratitude, and you can post this if you want no problem it's just a bunch of scattered ideas so yeah. Feel free to chuck suggestions at me too! I really don't know what to do with these... building blocks just yet.
Akatani Mikumo is Midoriya Hisashi.
Toshinori gets sandwiches by the Midoriya couple and it turns into an OT3 but that's much later down the line.
Hisashi is a journalist, keeps getting into everybody's business and Knows™ more than he frankly should.
Hisashi is a Cryptid™. But of a different energy from his son who is all lightning-in-a-bottle jittery On The Verge Of Throwing Hands feral sort of cryptid, Hisashi is mostly of this... supernaturally unflappable blank-faced chill entity.
Who keeps spooking people bc No Footstep sounds.
And might possibly be partially mute or just ridiculously soft-spoken bc when he tries to speak at normal volumehis fire-breathing quirk goes ballistic.
Might or might not have bloodline relations to AFO. Origins ambiguous, Inko just literally plucked the (then) teen off a back alley like he was a stray cat.
Also might or might not have more than one quirk, see the probable AFO connection.
Izuku got his mumbling thing from Hisashi.
A cryptid man who seems normal enough except a little off-kilter, like two inches to the left of what's a “normal” man? Weirdo but nobody can pinpoint how or why. That's the sort of vibe I want with this Hisashi.
And some Wack™ backstory lore I came up w for Hisashi, I dunno what I'll do w it but:
Cw: mention of infant murder, bc I'm Me™ and I was thinking about Yotsumegami (it's my favorite game) and how my version of Hisashi would tie in with it.
Yanno how in Yotsumegami “unwanted children” (children with disabilities, the younger of a twin pair or every sibling except the eldest in triplets or higher, etc) would be killed (it's a real historical practice in Japan, mabiki, they called it) or something like that? Would be kinda fun if an offshoot of that variety existed in the BnHA world, even if it's not outright child murder kids would be abandoned, especially in the chaos of the Dawn of Quirks. People who were scared of quirked people would abandon their quirked child, quirkist folk abandoned their quirkless children, it's chaos.
It would be more prominent during the initial chaos, though I guess laws and stuff would've been passed later on to prevent it or at least cut down the numbers— and the practice fizzled out but there's still a few remote rural villages who accept “unwanted” children.
One such secret community could be like, giving the surname “Akatani” (red valley, for the red of spider lilies used in mabiki in times past) to the children that were discarded at their metaphorical door. Do they still practice mabiki? Debatable. But it's like a giant secret orphanage with questionable, cult-like mentalities.
Akatani Hisashi was one of those until he miraculously escaped and tried to survive in the outside world.
Or maybe he didn't have the Akatani surname at first bc nobody in the remote village had any surname but once he got out he might've created the surname as a way to hm, not quite honor but carry his origins into his new life.
(maybe Yoichi was almost mabiki'd too, like I said I'm still not entirely sure where I'm going with this)
So Izuku gets to grow up w two parents who care a great deal for him. Maybe they move away, resulting in Izuku not having to deal w Bakugou in his childhood. Maybe Izuku makes friends with some other future 1-A classmate.
The Commission keeps trying to track down this one rogue “vigilante reporter” whose name is unknown. And they keep failing because Hisashi (along with his son and excessive gaggle of... comrades? followers? does the Midoriya family accidentally create an organization of rabid info gatherers?) is a certified cryptid.
Izuku has his hands in so many pots. He's a lot more nosey than in canon probably?
Endeavor had better be prepared bc his entire way of life is about to go up in smoke
I don't know why but I just have this very strong feeling that Stain doesn't like Hisashi for one reason or another.
I... wouldn't be entirely opposed to the AU just chucking Bakugou out the window so that he's not in 1-A (or in UA at all, fuck that pomeranian) and instead is replaced by another loud blond...
Fucking Monoma, LMAO.
A lot of the AU is just ?????? for now and most of it is Hisashi backstory but hnnnnng I want to do something with these jigsaw pieces I just don't know what
Also I'll be sending in Hisashi's design in a non-anon ask but could you append it to this ask's answer instead? Thanks!
I adore everything about this!?!?!
Also I didn't get another ask, anon or not, so Tumblr might have eaten it

Ch 408 - Thoughts
Quite a solid chapter, with some interesting details.
Tumblr media
I'm glad Yoichi got 2 months to live without his crazy brother, presumably having living his OT3 life with Kudo and - Bruce. (lol, I definitely take it as a Bruce Lee joke).
AFO killed him pretty brutally though, he could have taken out both second and third in one fell swoop - but I guess in his pettiness he wanted them to suffer. He may even have given OFA to Kudo when he splattered Yoichi all over his face. (or maybe they did it in the old-fashioned way...)
Tumblr media
Kudo is really hot. Bruce looks like the smart one (after all, he gave OFA to the guy with Danger sense).
Tumblr media
This page is brilliant. Love the panelling and the two parallel dialogues of Yoichi with AFO and with Kudo. The sense that he really wanted to save his brother - I feel so sad for Yoichi.
But also the way AFO is holding on to the physical hand he cut off of Yoichi, while Kudo is looking at the hand from which Yoichi was cut off. Yet on the bottom panel - Kudo's eyes reflect the hand (the connection that OFA started) while AFO is unable to connect. He only sees emptiness. That something was "stolen" from him.
Tumblr media
This spread is pretty cool - we get to see how all the vestiges died, plus Ujiko meeting AFO. AFO was especially brutal with En. I'm really curious what was his deal. Did he give Nana his hair with his body cleaved in half????
Tumblr media
So in the end it looks like Kudo and Bakugou are not related and all that smoke and mirrors is just a coincidental resemblance. As someone who never thought that the ancestor theory would add much to the plot - I'm ok with this. Also, it's a neat detail that Bakugou's eyes earlier never have the "sparkle" in them. So it makes sense that AFO would only make the connection now.
Tumblr media
Oh my, the blood-drop.
Full power AFO - I worry about Hori's hands. Also, hello Vestige!Hawks. I do wonder if there's going to pull a spy on AFO and turn his quirks on him.
Tumblr media
I think Bakugou is not going to charge head-on. There's a lot of focus on his sweat drops - so I'm thinking he's gonna trick AFO. The set-up reminds me of DvK - except this time Katsuki is the massive underdog, while AFO is the one blinded by rage.
Tumblr media
As for Bakugou's last line, reading the Japanese reactions, it sounds like Bakugou says something like "If I'm stupid, I'll lose" - which make sense.

OT3+ FEST PREVIEW!
Read these submissions on the AO3 collection after reveals tomorrow!
sidelines by @hurricane-heatt | Lewis/Seb/Hanna
“Surely you’ve given her a good enough review?” Sebastian smiles, sticking his tongue out a touch and wetting his lips. Hook, line, and sinker. This used to be a lot easier. It didn’t need expensive drinks in bars twice a year, ones that fade in and out of bright colours. It only needed hands on the smalls of backs and whispers and champagne soaked skin. The lights change to green again. “I couldn’t do you justice.”
expect a visceral reaction by @officialmood | Max/Daniel/Scotty
After the worst doctor’s appointment of his life—bar none, no competition, so bad he googles Canadian medical system scam right after—Daniel has to go back to the paddock. He has to do his fucking ESPN telecast like he didn’t just have a supposedly-licensed medical professional look him in the eye and tell him—what he had to do if he wanted to stabilize his heat schedule into something at all tolerable.
betwixt by @eyes-likepilotlights | Lewis/Seb/Hanna
Seb is Hanna's at home and Lewis's on the road - until Seb notices that there might be something more between Hanna and Lewis and decides the best course of action is to be very, very annoying about it.
a fantastic way to kill some time by @eyes-likepilotlights | Lewis & Nico & Vivian
Nico & Vivian get trapped in a lift with Lewis in Monaco. Only Vivian has a nice time. This could easily have the alternative title: I support Vivian Rosberg's rights and also her wrongs.
teach me just what fast is by @sionisjaune | Mick/Lewis/Nico
When Mick ducks inside the Mercedes hospitality, Nico Rosberg gives a lazy wave from his spot perched on a tall stool in front of the espresso bar. The thick bezel of his watch flashes gold when he raises his tiny cup of coffee. Everyone knows that he and Lewis are sleeping together, again. Lewis doesn't really talk about it. At least not with Mick.
system's breaking down (there's been a glitch) by @alpinelogy | Alex/Lando/George
The soulmate AU in which Lando doesn't think, George overthinks, and Alex is just glad to be there.

mlcb ficlet: red thread of fate, ot3
A soft ticklish sensation awakens Li Lianhua as he twitches his foot awake. Blearily, he opens his eyes and meets the twin gazes of Fang Xiaobao and Di Feisheng. They each have a hand wrapped around one of his bare ankles and the ticklish sensation that had awoken him is the sliding of red silken cord against his skin. Red thread encircles his ankles, flush against skin.
“It’s lotus silk,” Fang Xiaobao says. The natural curve to his mouth is nonexistent with none of his hurt outwardly to twist. Yet his eyes are dark and deep with a well of sorrow that Di Feisheng’s gaze mimics. Li Lianhua looks away.
Cautiously, Li Lianhua withdraws his feet from their calloused grasps, and he shivers at Fang Xiaobao’s parting stroke and Di Feisheng’s parting squeeze. There is a chill in the room that raises the hair on his skin. He shifts into a sitting position and brings his knees up to his chest. His robes fan down to cover his bare feet as a blanket remains crumpled at the foot of the bed where the other men sit like protective statues.
Like sliding on an operatic mask, Li Lianhua lets the disquiet of his awakening fade away to an insouciance that smooths the planes of his face. “Red threads?” he questions with a smirk tugging at the edges of dry lips.
Fang Xiaobao only stares at Li Lianhua, unperturbed by the mockery of the question. “For all that you want to die alone,” he says, “you should know that not even Meng Po could make us forget you.”
“Ah, Xiaobao,” Li Lianhua tuts, “even the moon waxes only to wane just as the flowers bloom only to fall.”
Di Feisheng scoffs. “Your sophistry does not negate our grief,” he says bluntly. “We searched the thirty-six cities of nine states, sixteen rivers, and the twenty-eight mountains for you.”
“Your shiniang found you before us,” Fang Xiaobao says devastatingly.
And Li Lianhua freezes as he circulates his qi through his meridians. Given time, he would be recovering the entirety of his power and on the cusp of immortality, he could even surpass his prior peak. A life for a life, he thinks, as his heart judders not from weakness but from the sorrow taking root in his chest. His chest burns; his throat burns; and his eyes burn as an ache works its way up.
“I did not want this,” Li Lianhua says with a shuddering breath. He wraps his arms around his raised legs; he feels like a child again. Even now, his mind betrays him as a memory of Shan Gudao arises. Once Li Xiangyi had burned with a fever on the streets—he had been shivering with cold and Shan Gudao had desperately embraced him. By then, his brother had been dead and he supposed that Shan Gudao had always liked being depended on. There was something about that embrace that had nestled deep into his soul; it was the uncomplicated intimacy of it that reality could no longer allow in his life.
Something in Li Lianhua shatters with the response Di Feisheng offers.
“Nobody wanted you to give up and die either,” Di Feisheng says.
“Di-mengzhu,” Li Lianhua says hoarsely. “‘The bird in the cage longs for its former woods, while the fish in the pond misses the deep.’”
“You quote Tao Yuanming as if the jianghu is your worldly cage and we your worldly affairs to abstain from,” Fang Xiaobao comments.
“Li Lianhua,” Di Feisheng says slowly, as if savoring the name upon his tongue, “why run from those who love you?”
“If you loved me—,” Li Lianhua begins sharply.
“You wanted to die with dignity,” Fang Xiaobao says with a bitterness he must have cultivated from the seeds of the grief Li Lianhua planted. “You wrote that letter and you thought that all loose ends must have been severed…”
“It was selfish,” Di Feisheng says.
And Li Lianhua smiles as a tear finally escapes his pooling eyes to trail down his cheek, wetting the collar of his robes. “You found me—wasn’t that selfish of you? Was it so hard to fulfill a dying man’s wishes?”
“But you didn’t have to die,” Fang Xiaobao damns. “Why couldn’t you let us help you?”
“Help me?” Li Lianhua says coldly. “My shiniang is dead!”
“So, you’re the only one who can decide the terms of their death? Your shiniang wanted to help you. She was tired too,” Fang Xiaobao says.
Li Lianhua closes his eyes for a long moment, tears squeezed out in trails shimmering in candlelight. “Why couldn’t you let me go?” Li Lianhua finally says.
“We love you,” Di Feisheng says.
“The ending you wrote for us could never have worked—not when what we wanted was you,” Fang Xiaobao says.
“A-Fei, Xiaobao,” Li Lianhua entreats, “you don’t love me. You love the ghost of Li Xiangyi. I don’t want to fight with you, A-Fei. I can’t be your shifu, Xiaobao. I’m so…tired.”
Without even a rustle of his robes, Fang Xiaobao leaps to his feet to sit at Li Lianhua’s side at the top of the bed. This is what he uses Yangzhouman for: to hug a ghost. His arms are warm and strong around Li Lianhua as Di Feisheng looms nearby.
Li Lianhua tries to swallow down the sobs in his throat, but it is like a drowning person swallowing the ocean to survive—inescapable. The porcelain of his heart finally cracks with the propagation of old and new hurts. In the candlelight, his mask cracks and saltwater leaks. His body shakes and he seethes with the shame of it—of his damnable weakness. It contradicts his intent to free them to live their lives; they did not need him.
Nobody ever truly wants to die. In the moment, death seems preferable, but in the next moment, the enormity of the loss strikes and for some, it is too late. For Li Lianhua, there is nothing wrong or right about this moment in Fang Xiaobao’s arms. It is a moment that needs to pass for too long has Li Lianhua lived in the stasis of Li Xiangyi’s character.
Li Lianhua could never move on until Li Xiangyi was dead in one way or another.

Laughing while imagine Sasuke in another life, where he's mentally healthier and keeps blushing and smiling like he used when he was a little kid.
Becuase he would be the first to notice the OT3 dynamic of Team 7, the first to realize that the attraction he feels for both of them is different and they speak on their own terms, so trying to compare them would never work. I think Sasuke is somewhere in the ace/aro spectrum, not being able to feel a romantic or sexual connection until he has first a friendship connection, you know?
So maybe it is Shisui or Obito who pinpoint the fact he technically has both a boyfriend AND a girlfriend, mostly joking, but Sasuke goes oh shit in his mind. It stays glued on his brain. He's not entirely convinced about Naruto having a crush on him until he realizes that Naruto talks 70% of the time about him like it is his favorite thing to talk about. Ever. Sasuke's comically aware of how popular and wanted are the three of them, yet they keep going round and round, tunnel vision on each other.
He plans and schemes and doesn't sleep thinking about how the hell is he going to fix their stupid situation. He's no way going to approach them with the proposal of a threesome that don't even include sex to start with (he's not in the sexual attraction part yet), so our little Uchiha is having an ongoing headache that seems to get worst the more he has to deal with Kakashi knowing face. Fuck Kakashi to begin with, fuck his perverted books and the fact that he somehow pulled off with Rin and Obito the same thing Sasuke is attempting, (allegedly, no one's sure how Kakashi fits there or if he does, 'cause there's the thing with Iruka and Gai going on?? Sasuke hates it all).
He almost breaks down crying on his knees the day he realizes Sakura feels something for Naruto. It is not romantic love yet but she is getting there, if the looks she keeps giving Naruto are a clue, or the blushing and defending and sleeping on each other's laps... He does panic for a minute thiking about the possibility of them falling in love for each other and forgetting about him, but they keep bonding by talking about him, so yeah.
So far so good.
I can't stop laughing, really. The idea of Sasuke's big suffering being "I feel in love with my TWO best friends" is adorable to me, the type of life he deserves, rather than being mentally fucked up with hatred and revenge because his older brother massacred his entire clan. It fills my heart with joy to put him in those scenarios, silly and common with the possibility of an incredible pay off.
He deserves all the love in the world.

In the episode don’t ever change, why do you think house changed his mind about amber and okayed Wilson’s relationship with her?
Hi anon, I’m so sorry for the delay in getting back to you! I don’t usually get asks and I didn’t see your message.
Ok, so. The theme of the episode is that people are capable of change. House repeats over and over again throughout the episode that no one changes, but the ep points out that he, Wilson and Amber changed (and so did the patient). House accepts Wilson’s partner, Wilson is suddenly attracted to a woman who is self-assured (and not needy) and Amber is no longer necessarily putting herself first.
I think House accepts Amber due to the fact that he respects her and that he deeply sympathizes with what she says: that her whole life she had to chose between love or respect, and she always chose respect. With Wilson, for the first time, she gets to have both. And that this combo is worth more than a fellowship or a job. House gives her a stunned look at that, and I think he realizes he is the same and that Wilson is also the only person capable of giving him both love and respect. And we know House is the same: at the end of all things, when he is about to lose Wilson, House did give up his job and career for Wilson’s love and respect. Back to the scene: when Amber is about to leave the office House says “You’ve changed” with a knowing smile and Amber replies “I hope so”, telling us that she did change and that House’s screaming at the top of his lungs that no one changes is a lie. She did change, for Wilson. House understands that and respects it (and he respects her as a doctor too, as he says she had a good guess about the patient’s diagnosis). So he finally accepts her as Wilson’s partner and part of Wilson’s life (and a part of House’s life by proxy).
My personal headcanon tho? The episode also has to do with House 100% admitting to himself he loves Wilson in a romantic and sexual way too. The C plot (or D plot, I’m not sure anymore) is about how both Foreman and House clock Thirteen as bisexual. In my headcanon that’s about two established characters who are queer (in my headcanon) nodding to Thirteen in a “I see you” way. While House might have been in love or attracted to Wilson before, or maybe even acted on it in a friends with benefits way or however else, this is the episode to me where House changes and in his own head logically accepts what he truly feels for Wilson. It is also the episode where House says he doesn’t do self-sacrifice, and we know he does exactly that for Wilson at the end of this season, and at the end of the series as well. So to me he also accepts Amber because he likes the idea that Wilson is with a proxy for himself—Mr ‘So Far In The Closet I’m Shaking Mr Tumnus’ Hand’ Wilson can’t be with House, but at least he chose a House proxy, and showed he is capable of change in chosing a romantic partner who is like House. I hope this also makes it clear why I love the House/Wilson/Amber ot3 so much. The three of them have such deep respect for each other (even if they bicker all the time), and I do think House would also be capable of giving Amber love and respect (and Amber would also be capable of the same), as they all so deeply crave.
Sorry this is so long, nonny, but I hope it made sense. Thanks for the ask!
