- he’s not the romantic type of guy like Sanji, but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t demonstrate his love!

- Zoro prefers to just hold hands, or just have you near him, so none of his actions have really provoked or caused you to blush

- He’s not a perverted love cook, nothing wrong with that!

- He’s a pretty chill guy, and is perfectly happy with napping next to you, cuddling with you, holding hands, and just sitting together!

- He appreciates the loving silence you two have together :)

- As you know, Zoro is a very strong guy, so his arms are pretty bulky and muscular

- after he finished his training session for the day, he walked towards you, without a shirt and a towel wrapped around his neck

- you waved to him before going back to whatever you were doing, but it seemed as though Zoro needed more attention today

- his hand wrapped around your waist from behind and he whispered into your ear, “Can you meet me in the room in a bit? I wanna nap with you.” Is all he said

- But it was how he said it

- His low voice almost rang in your ears, sending chills down your spine, your face heating up and already turning red without Zoro noticing

- He didn’t even say anything weird- he just wanted a nap- 😭

Koby

- this boy is already flustered by every single one of your actions 💀

- he’s a little baby and kind of gets flustered with any kind of contact he has with you still

- maybe not hugs and cuddles, but DEFINITELY kisses and such

- One time you were worried he was turning blue because he stopped breathing from shock (actually he was as red as a tomato-)

- He was leaving soon on a mission for the marines

- As a captain, Koby did have a lot of responsibilities, but you were still his top priority, so it was hard for him to leave you for a little while

- Koby looked a bit nervous about something other than his mission, so you asked him about it before he left

- “Here! Y/n.. I have something to give you.” He took out a bandana almost identical to his, daisies and all, just your favorite color :)

- “I thought that maybe.. we could match! It’s ok if you don’t want it though.” He said with a sheepish smile, rubbing the back of his head nervously

- Your cheeks were tinted pink, almost like his hair as you stared at the thoughtful gift

- Your heart was about to melt. Koby had made this just for you! And he took the time to make it your favorite color 🥺

- “I love it! Can you put it on my head?” You asked him with a smile, your cheeks flushed a bright red

- He looked like his whole world just lit up from your smile, he excitedly started tying it on your head, making sure it wasn’t uncomfortable for you

- “Thank you Koby, I love it.” You said, kissing his cheek, leaving him speechless, as well as the color of a tomato

- “KOBY! WE HAVE TO GO!” Helmeppo’s voice shouted from afar. Koby reluctantly gave you one last tight squeeze before he finally got the guts to pull you close to him, slamming his lips against yours

- The kiss was longing, you could tell it was a goodbye

- It left you breathless, blushing madly as Koby waved goodbye to you as he ran towards the departing ship of soldiers

- Koby did it, he made you blush :)

Like Real People Do, Part 4! ♡ (Casper x Avery)

☁️ Summary: Casper and Avery's relationship grows. Avery comes over to watch a movie that has an unexpected *scene* for Casper. Shenanigans ensue.

Avery came to visit me the night after we went to the fair. And the next. And the next.

Occasionally we'd skip a day or two, if he was working on research late into the night, or if I had after-hours systems testing at my job, but before long we had spent the equivalent of a week together. Then a month. Then two.

Sometimes I would cook for him, helping him experience all the culinary delights he had denied himself due them being “unnecessary” pleasures. He found most dry food intolerable, but he loved all kinds of soup, fruit, and especially ice cream. I made sure to always have a case of sparkling water on-hand, too, just for him.

Some nights, he would take me back to his lighthouse and we would spend the evening together there, sipping tea and playing board games on his tiny kitchen table (Avery usually won). We shared affectionate hugs and glances. Sometimes, he would touch my hand across the kitchen table as I pored over how to beat him at cards, making me lose my concentration. He always carried me home before it got too late.

When we weren't together, we texted; sweet greetings, inside jokes, photos from our lives. We playfully competed against each other for who could make the most bored face while working, or who could take a prettier sunset picture. True to his word, he also texted me when he needed things; strange mechanical parts, books about advanced scientific concepts, refills for his tea cabinet.

I let him take point and followed his lead, never initiating, allowing him to discover and express his feelings in his own time. He was shy, but he could be playful at times, too – I wasn't sure if he knew it, but his teasing flustered me out of my wits. I was fairly certain he didn't know about… that, but there had been some close calls; a good-natured nudge to the ribs that sent me reeling, or a hug that ended with his fingertips lightly grazing my sides. I recalled one incident at the movie theatre when he whispered a little too close to my ear, necessitating me to hold my breath until he was done speaking. That time, I thought I wouldn't make it.

It was autumn, my favorite season. I had not grown up around deciduous trees, and I was delighted to watch the foliage in Port Oleander cycle through a rainbow of warm hues. The sun was beginning to set as I stood in my kitchen, gently stirring a pot of homemade miso soup – Avery's favorite – when my phone buzzed.

Hey, I wanted to ask you something… Do you want me to stay the night tonight?

“Wow,” I thought. That was a big step for Avery. We'd cuddled a bit before, but not in bed, and we'd never spent the night, either. My heart beat a bit faster. What if I did something embarrassing in my sleep? Would he notice if I wasn't wearing my binder? Would he care?

I took a bit too long to answer, so he followed with:

If you're not comfortable, I totally understand.

no!! i would love for you to stay over. my beds not as big as yours but i think it's comfy.

Sounds good! I can't wait to see you, dewdrop. I'm bringing a movie to watch.

It wasn't long before Avery arrived. As I opened the door, I grinned at the sight of him in his fall outfit. It was the first really cold day of autumn, and he'd worn an alpine sweater, a blue scarf, and jeans instead of his usual slacks. I rushed into his huge embrace, burying my face in his soft chest. He was especially tall and fluffy that day – I estimated he was about six-foot-five (195cm ♡) – which told me he was well-hydrated and full of energy. I inhaled as I nuzzled into his chest -- he smelled like cloves and old books.

“Hello, dewdrop,” he said fondly, squeezing me close to him and stroking my hair. “It smells wonderful in here." He took a seat on the couch, setting a DVD on the coffee table.

“It'll be done soon! Are you hungry?”

“Casper, I'm always hungry when you're cooking.”

I giggled, sampling the soup as I walked over to him. “Is this the movie you brought?”

“Yes, I wasn't sure if you'd seen it, but you said you liked old animated films. This is one of my favorites, so I thought I'd share it with you.”

It was a copy of The Secret of NIMH. It made sense that Avery liked it – understandably, he had a penchant for fringe science and supernatural concepts.

“Oh, I love this movie!” I had a copy of it, too, but it was in storage somewhere.

I brought two bowls of soup over to the couch. Though I was pleased with how it came out, I wasn't particularly hungry; I was too riled up, thinking about Avery staying the night. I noticed that he'd brought a canvas bag with him. I wondered what his pajamas looked like. I wondered about a lot of other things, too.

“Ahh, you scamp, this is my favorite! Thank you for making it, it's delicious,” Avery chirped, sipping the clear broth greedily. I never tired of watching him eat; the liquid entering his mouth and then being swept up in the swirling vortex of his head, disappearing in an instant. The hot soup made him steam a bit, little whips of vapor rising from his skin.

I put the movie in and turned off the light, snuggling into his side. Though his sweater was soft, I wished that I could feel his bare arm instead as he wrapped it around me. His cool fingers rested on my forearm, and I could feel the wind rushing beneath his skin.

We watched the movie quietly, every now and then making comments on the score and animation of the Don Bluth film.

“Justin reminds me of you,” I said, grinning.

“Oh, really? Hehe. He is charming, isn't he? He's just like me, for real.” Avery put his hands on his hips and struck a playfully haughty pose, just like in Justin's introduction scene. The temptation to take him down a peg was immense, but somehow, I resisted.

“Dude, you cannot pull off slang like that at all,” I said, laughing.

“Got you to giggle though, didn't I?”

I blushed, but summoned some confidence and fired back anyway.

“Pfff. Just like Mr. Ages said about Justin, you're a feather-head, too.”

Avery laughed openly, causing me to get a terrible case of butterflies as he trembled against my body.

“I can't argue with that,” he said.

We watched the movie a while longer. The scene with Jenner in the auditorium ended, and the next scene featuring Jeremy started to play. He was tangled up in his string, as usual, and was involved in some banter with the suspicious old shrew, who was admonishing him for sneaking around. She paced back and forth on screen, rigging up Jeremy's string to nearby branches and hoisting him into the air.

Suddenly, I remembered this scene. My body stiffened a bit against Avery, and I felt my ears beginning to flush. Without meaning to, I held my breath.

The mice kids were calling Jeremy a turkey, and demanding to know where their mother was. One of them jumped on top of Jeremy, clawed fingers scratching his sides as he laughed, crying, “No, stop! You're tickling!”

Luckily, the scene was over quickly. I exhaled as quietly as possible, but then, Avery paused the movie. My heart dropped.

“I've noticed something about you,” he said slowly.

“Y-yes?” I tried to sound normal. I sounded nothing close.

“Whenever this topic comes up, I observe a kaleidoscope of emotions from you. You flush, stutter, look away, squirm, and hold your breath. I've let it slide many times, but now, I'm curious. This tickling… has an interesting effect on you that it doesn't seem to have on other humans.

“I know what tickling is, in theory, but it’s a human behavior that doesn't exist in Cirropa. I'm dying to know what about it gets you so… flustered like this? And why you're so desperate to hide it from me.”

I swallowed hard, suddenly and painfully aware of every contact point between Avery’s body and mine, especially his fingers resting on my arm. How could I explain this without saying it out loud?

“Ahh, well, um… it's… I just…” I babbled incoherently. My breath came in short gasps as my fingers and toes grew clammy.

Avery shifted on the couch, turning to face me. In the glow of the TV screen, his eyes were intense, but there was the faintest hint of a smirk playing around his lips.

“I am a scientist, you know. If you don't tell me, I'm not afraid to test a hypothesis. But let's clear this up first, at least – does it make you uncomfortable in a bad way? Is it painful for you? I have a feeling it's the opposite… very opposite… but I have to be sure.”

“Ahh, errrr… no…”

“No, what?”

“No, it… doesn't make me uncomfortable in a bad way, and it isn't painful.”

“Hmmm… what isn't?”

“What?”

“What isn't painful, Casper?”

“...”

“Oh, stars. This ruffles you so badly you can't even say the word, can you? Oh, dewdrop… you know I have to try it, now.”

Alarm bells went off in my head as I felt my blush flood from my ears, to my cheeks, to the rest of my face. I scrambled backwards from Avery, but with such speed I almost couldn't detect it, he was on top of me, one knee on each side of my hips.

I screamed.

“No Avery! Nohohoho plehehehehease don't hahahahaha!”

“My god, I haven't even touched you yet! I hear you saying no– do you really want me to stop?” His smirk was huge now, and I could barely stand to look at him. He knew exactly what he was doing.

I hid my face in my hands, causing Avery to giggle.

“I knew it! Humans are so cute sometimes! Here, sweetheart, I'll give you one last out. If you want me to stop, snap your fingers.”

A moment of silence passed, my hands still firmly covering my face.

“Hehehe… Alright, then. You quite literally asked for it.”

With that, I felt Avery's fingertips light on each side of my ribcage. He started softly and deftly flexing them, gently skittering along the sides of my body.

I'd been tickled plenty of times before, by previous partners and friends. Generally, they were so excited to tickle me, so caught up in a moment of playfulness that they dug their fingers into me… which did usually tickle quite a lot, but it also hurt a bit, too, and made it difficult to enjoy.

Avery's tickling was entirely different. He was methodical, comprehensive. Playful, but gentle. His fingertips were incredibly soft and dexterous as they prodded and kneaded along my ribcage. Avery worked with delicate scientific instruments, and he tickled like he did, too; it was like nothing I'd ever felt.

“Ahahahahahaveryyyy!! Hahahahaha!” I cried, squirming beneath his fingers, my unrestrained hands grabbing uselessly at his forearms; he was so strong, it didn't seem to phase him in the slightest.

“Hehehe, you are so sensitive to this! Oh, this is so cute, Casper! If I had known you liked this sooner, I would have already played with you like this so many times. I wonder where else you're ticklish? If we go by evolutionary theory, it would probably be a vital point, like here,” he teased, his soft fingertips moving from my ribcage to the sides of my neck, his cool fingers gliding merrily along my bare skin.

I blushed so hard, I was sure my whole body must be red.

“AAAHAHAhahahaha!” I squealed, reaching my hands up to protect myself. I could feel moisture beginning to bead in the corners of my eyes. Avery's fingertips tickled so much, it was like an eclipse for my mind, blocking out any thoughts and leaving only the delicious torture of sensation.

Avery stopped, looking down at me with concern.

“You're starting to cry, are you okay?” He asked, his brow furrowed as he reached out to cup my hot cheek in his soft palm, gently wiping my tear with his thumb.

“Hehehe… I'm okay, Avery… I cry when I laugh sometimes,” I said, placing my hand reassuringly over his. His cold skin was a relief, as I was already starting to sweat.

“Hmm… if you do things like cry, and say ‘stop’ out of instinct, how will I know when you're ready for me to really stop?”

“Aheh, well… time for some vocabulary, I guess. That's called a safeword, but safewords don't always work with this, because sometimes you're laughing so hard you can't get it out. I've found it's better to tap out,” I showed him by tapping my fingers on the couch, “but it's always good to check periodically, too.”

“What other words should I know?”

“Well… there is ‘ler’, which means someone who likes to ‘teekay’ other people, and ‘lee’, someone who likes to be ‘teekayed’.”

“So… does that mean you're a lee?”

I chuckled; my turn to smirk.

“No, I'm the ‘secret third thing’ – a switch. Someone who likes both.”

“O-Oh.” Avery blushed exquisitely.

“You wanna give it a try?”

“It does seem like fun…”

My heart was pounding. “Why don't we move to the bed, then? You can't really stretch out on this couch like I can. You'll be more comfortable there.”

“Hehe… lead on, dewdrop.”

PHONES AT THE DINNER TABLE.

it was muggy as kiyoomi drove home. the hard drizzle of rain pattered against the car window and the cold air bit at his pale skin- even with the windows up. this atmosphere was not good to his already dampened spirit seeing as practice didn’t go well today. he kept hitting the ball into the net and his syncing was way off. it really put him into a bad mood, and now with the weather, he swore you could see a grey storm cloud following him everywhere overhead.

he pulled into the driveway of your shared home and sluggishly pulled his duffle bag from the passenger seat. it took him three minutes to unlock the door, because it kept slipping out of the key hole. this adding to his annoyance. he felt his temper bubble in his chest and bleed into his throat, threatening to spill until he saw you.

you were setting out all his favorite food onto the dinner table, hair a mess and so absorbed in your task that you hadn’t noticed kiyoomi come in. he quietly toed his shoes off, making his way to you. a devious thought popped into his head.

you took your phone out your pocket to take a picture of the pretty lay out of food you made for your lover, when it’s snatched up from behind you. you yelp, twisting to find your 6’4 boyfriend sporting a boyish grin.you smile at his breathlessly , still a bit surprised from his appearance but hug him anyway. your lover’s arms wind around your waist, and you feel every bit of tension melt off his strong shoulders. giving his back a few rubs and the base of his neck a few squeezes, he sighs happily. he truly did miss you.

he pulls back and peers down at you. you smile up at him, “ how was your day, kiyo? sit down, you must be hungry,” you say, ushering him towards a seat. he does so, moving his hair from his face. you pat your pockets, then laying your eyes on him and letting out a breathy laugh. “ baby, my phone,” you tell him. he laughs slightly. giving him a bored look, you move to take it from him, but he simply stands and you’re all of a sudden no match for him. he’s enormous. you huff, “ kiyo, give me my phone,” you instruct.

he laughs. “ what will you do if i don’t , huh? bite my ankles?” and at that, you scoff. you make another reach for your device, thwarted by his long arms. “you’re so mean, kiyo, i literally made you food and this is how you repay me? little biTCH-“ he doesn’t allow you to finish your sentence. he swiftly tucks the phone into his pocket and picks you up- your thighs caging his waist as he holds them to support you. instinctively, your arms find a place around his neck. “‘m not mean, baby, im just teasing,” he mumbled , kissing your face, “had a long day, and you’re cute when you’re upset,” he giggles to you. this brings a smile to your face, cheeks nearly crushing your eyes when you give him a big, wet kiss. he feigns disgust but does little to wipe his mouth or tell you to stop. “ maybe if you had just told me how your day was, instead of stealing my phone, you would’ve felt better by now,” you deadpan playfully. he pouts at you , tilting his head, “ hmm, maybe you’re right but,” he gets real close, “ i wouldn’t be holding you then, would i?” he whispers. you’re flustered momentarily.

it’s silent between you two for a second. the close proximity urges you to kiss him- so you do. cupping his pale cheeks and nose bumping his, he feels his heart swell at the tenderness you handle him with. his lips move languidly against yours, effortlessly, as if that’s what they were made for. to kiss you. just for you. only you. he puts you down when you break away, handing you your phone.

“let’s eat,” he says, sitting again. he sees your raised brow and hand-on-hip pose, shaking his head with a small chuckle. “ and i’ll tell you about my day, you big baby.”

-Well.. Maybe your boyfriend will never admit it, but sometimes he loves to watch some moe wholesome anime about maids or witches, so..

-So he absolutely adores you and your cafe, as you look even better and cuter than any of his favorite characters!

-Ichiro always preferred to eat in his house, as cooking by himself was much cheaper than in cafes and restaurants.. But maybe he starts to visit your place too often now.

-It's just.. You just.. You just look so adorable in your cute dress..! Ichiro is very loyal so his eyes would be only on your cute figure, other maids will never interest him.

-So that's why he is always hoping that you would be the one who will be waiting on his table, he's your boyfriend after all..!

-"Oh, you switched to a summer uniform now?" - Ichiro smiles when you get closer to his table with a little smile. He noticed even the smallest detail about your appearance every day. - "That one is so cute..! Hm, can you then show me a little heart, hehe..?"

-Oh.. And of course.. Taking the photo when a client pays the check is the standard method practiced at many maid cafes, so if in your place clients have this benefit.. Then of course Ichiro would ask for this every time, dressing in his best clothes just to have the sweetest photo with you.

-"Ahh, it's so hard to not kiss you right here.." - he mumbled, posing with you in front of the camera with a wild smile. - "You're just too cute today.."

"Sh.. or you will break hearts of mine other fans.." - you whisper with a little chuckle.

"Huh?? Other fans? So you're popular now, don't you..?" - you can't help but giggle, noticing Ichiro's jealous gaze. Yet then he smirks too. - "Well, it's okay. They can admire you as much as they want, but you're still only my little girlfriend, hehe.. But if someone will try something, tell me immediately, okay..?"

-What a visionary..

Right after this you get to another client who also pays their check and waits for his turn. Your friend, another waitress, took the camera again and was ready to make another casual shoot, but you suddenly froze in place. Man was standing close enough so maybe no one saw this, but you definitely felt his hand on your waist and got absolutely confused.

Of course before starting working here you listen to some briefing about what a waitress should do in such a situation, but you get so scared, unsettled with this unexpected touch.

All you were able to do is look at your boyfriend, who still was not that far away. Ichiro just now noticed a new menu for next month, and was standing there, yet he kept glancing at you from time to time. And when he notices your scared shocked look he immediately gets closer.

"Oh, is everything alright here?" - he said loud enough so few other clients turned in your direction. Of course Ichiro's sharp suspicious gaze laid on a strange man near you and you immediately felt how he quickly let go of your waist.

Another maid, who was kinda confused now, just sheig her shoulders and took a picture. So all this jerk gets in the end is a photo of his scared and your happy faces as you both were looking at Ichiro.

.. should I say that he will get another, longer talk with your boyfriend after..?

-He.. Oh, it's hard.

-Kuko doesn't understand this fanaticism around moe anime and 'kawaii' girls..

-Yet an uncontrollable urge to protect you rises in his chest every time he gets inside your cafe and sees you in this adorable uniform, walking around like a porcelain doll.

-Despite his hot airheaded behavior, your boyfriend has a caring side that relieves itself around you. There's some soft spot in his soul for any cute and innocent things that he doesn't want to admire. But you clearly can see his loving gaze, full of adoration, that is fixed on your figure.

-And who would have thought that Kuko can be so quiet and shy when you look at him with such cute eyes, asking what you can get for your Master.

-"S.. stop calling me like that, it's embarrassing.. Do all these people actually enjoy such nicknames?" - he scoffs, trying to hide his blushing face. - "Strawberry milkshake would be enough."

-Yes, he always criticizes your cafe yet keeps returning here just to talk with you and watch how cheerful you serve clients as he drinks his casual milkshake. Kuko still didn't remember anything more from the menu, acting like he was not interested.

-yet he really wants to order omurice one day here so you will draw him a little hearts with ketchup..

-Despite the fact that he loves you in this adorable uniform, he is kinda grumpy to see other men here, as though about you sharing your adorable smile with them too tickle his soul with jealousy.

-"Are you here for another milkshake, Kuko?" - you giggle, welcoming him once again. You got a really busy schedule this week so you didn't get that much time to go on any dates with your boyfriend. That's why Kuko started appearing here much more often, already visiting your cafe for the third time this week.

"Yeah, yeah.. You know my taste very well.." - he mumbled, sitting down at the table for one.

"It's not your taste, you just don't want to try something new.." - you can't help but chuckle and show him a menu. - "We have a new offer, maybe you would at least try these pancakes, pretty please?"

"Are you trying to win me over with your fan service?" - soft blush appears on his cheeks as he tries to cover his face with the collar of his jacket. - "Fine, I guess I will fall for you games this time, but-"

"Hey, don't you think you should serve my table too? Im waiting!"

Kuko gets silent, as you and him look with wider eyes at another client who was sitting not that far away.

"Did you not hear? Hurry up..!" - this arrogant jerk continues, looking at you. You smile awkwardly, trying to calm him down with a sweet voice and apologizing, but there's no way Kuko would tolerate this.

"Do you have a problem?! Try to learn basic manners and then returns here!" - he scoffs and then laughs. - "Or your stupid head is too small to learn something more than the alphabet?"

"Kuko, I think you violating some basic manners right now too.." - you whisper but he just shakes his head.

"If you're so bold then why don't go out for a minute?" - man gets up, showing his pretty large height.

..Well, maybe your boyfriend can't show off his great height, yet he has enough power to teach a lesson of etiquette for some stupid asshole.

Of course he returns, all alone, with a proud smirk on his face.

"Yes, I will take these pancakes. But make sure they add an extra one as a reward for my help here, hehe.."

mamaaaaaa you know today is buckys birthday 🙂 how are we celebrating

🥰 I think the theme across the couples is surprise.

Daddy Steve wakes up early and surprises Baby Bucky with the start of little surprises all throughout the day, taking a long weekend to spoil his baby with museum trips and picnics and dimly lit bars and eating dessert they were forced to take to-go because of wandering hands, in bed. Jewelry is most definitely involved as well. How can it not be with these two? A bracelet this time, slim and gold and luxurious. Steve puts it on Bucky's wrist after their second round in bed that night, barely making it in time for his birthday.

Smol Steve and Bucky Bear don't have a lot of money to spare on some extra birthday goodies, but Steve absolutely tries his hardest to spoil his Bear. He makes a cake for breakfast, chocolate, that turns out surprisingly well that they eat in bed. They make some coffee at home and then go on a walk through the park, stop at Bucky's favorite bookstore, end up stopping to get coffee because theirs is stale. When it starts to rain they head home and then watch movies on TV for the rest of the day. Steve surprises him with another plant even though they swore no gifts.

Daddy James gets surprised with long awaited art that Steve has spent months making for him, Steve choosing to have it hung up in Daddy's office with the help of Natasha. Four detailed yet chaotic (his style, hehe) pencil drawings of four places they'd traveled to, that Steve used picture references for. One is a picture he took off the coast of Italy, one is a picture of the snowy view outside of their cabin (from the floor in front of the fire of course, since that's where they always end up making love for hours), one is a picture Steve took of them in bed together, and the last was (reluctantly) a picture of Steve that James says is his favorite.

Bunny's birthday is like a national holiday for 3DWD. It's right behind Christmas, maybe tied with Halloween, but Bucky's birthday is up there. 100% Steve plans a surprise party for Bucky in their backyard and barely keeps the surprised under wraps. Nat takes Bucky out somewhere for drinks or a massage and Steve goes to town turning that backyard into a cozy little wonderland, blankets and fire pits and a s'mores bar and a projector and games. Bucky's so surprised and so tickled to see everyone there that he even cries a little bit, sweet baby.

Now...the senator and intern. I'm in my feels for them today and this response reflects that, haha. I think Bucky's parents would be out of town for work and maybe his friends are busy with midterms and can't really make it out to celebrate. And when Steve asks him what his birthday plans are, Bucky says he has none. And the senator's heart breaks a little bit. And when Steve shows up to Bucky's house that night and he's stuttering trying to figure out why the senator is here and not in New York over for a rally to endorse Same Wilson for Governor, Steve tells him he changed his mind and decided to leave early in the morning. "Get in. You've got birthday plans now..."

A/N: I changed the prompt a little bit but it still works!

Arcade games

It was a get together to celebrate the end of the semester. It just so happens that the date was close to your one year anniversary with Steve. It was a fantastic year being at his side and what better way to celebrate than with the friends that helped get you together. They had chosen the bar and arcade not too far from campus. Everyone had been bouncing back and forth from the bar to the arcade games. You and Steve had gotten separated but it was ok because most of the time you could look around and see him.

But now he was nowhere to be found. You asked the girls and they said they saw him with Bucky. When you asked him he said he saw Steve with Sam and Thor. Finally Thor directed you to some game toward the back of the room. The last thing you expected to find was your 6’2 boyfriend kneeling in front of the claw machine with his hand trying to reach a prize.

“What are you doing?” You asked as you finally walked around to where he could see you.

“Baby, oh thank god. I can’t get out of this.”

You wanted to laugh and he could see it in your face. He went beet red when you pulled out your phone and took a picture.

“Why is your arm in there anyway?”

“No reason.” He answered way too quickly.

“My love, why is your arm stuck in the claw machine? We’re you going to steal a prize for me?”

“Maybe…” steve gives you a sheepish smile.

“Aaww. Let me rescue you and then I’ll show you how to actually to this.”

You leaned down and pulled his arm free. Steve sighed as he moved his arm around a bit.

“Come on golden boy. Let me show you how it’s done.”

Steve happily stands behind you, hands on your hips as he looks over your shoulder. You put a few coins in and begin to explain how you can win something every time.

“Ok, if you’re so good at it try getting that stuffie right there.” He pointed to a simple brown teddy bear with a ribbon in your favorite color.

“Is that the one you were going to get for me?”

“Yup.” He stands to the side this time and watches as you expertly maneuver the claw around.

After a minute or so the bear is being lifted and then dropped into the collection area. Steve pulls it out of the machine and inspects it.

“Will you look at that. It has an extra gift.”

Around the teddy bears neck is a beautiful necklace. Steve is grinning in your direction.

“Happy anniversary baby.” He says as he hands you the bear.

“Steve it’s beautiful. Wait, were you even stuck?”

“Nope coach would kill me if I hurt my arm. I just wanted to surprise my girl.”

“Will you put it on for me.”

“Absolutely.”

Once he’s done you turn around and kiss him. Steve pulls you closer and only pulls back once you need air.

“I love you.”

“I love you too, Baby.”

ACT TWOOO

1/2/3/?

So we got out of the show, definitely crying after Seconds. We stood up immediately during the applause they DESERVED IT.

We went out to the lobby and were given our posters while we waited for the cast to change and come back! We started saying hi to them before they were even out into the lobby, and they were excited to sing our posters and hear what we thought about the show!

I said hi to the costume designer, who recognized me from my DJ cosplay. Which is insane to me. Also bc the DJ has a cool metal wire mask thing he wears during Electric Future and it kinda reminds me of my design hehe. Also the music director, and the sound designer! Who wanted to know our thoughts and seemed really excited to explain his ideas and what he did with the sound, it was really busy so I hope we have more time to talk next show!

We again met up with Sam and Aya to talk about how much we all enjoyed the show. And they got to meet their new counterparts. We took even MORE pictures with everyone. THEN got to chat with some of the cast about like, bootlegs and demos and behind the scenes stuff they were excited to share. Which was very cool.

I got to talk to the DJ'S ACTOR. I told him I'm the number one DJ fan and he says "what does that say about you? Should I be concerned?"

mmm. yeah maybe.

He also said the DJ is his favorite character too but like. He does play him.

We hung out talking to people for WAY too long and didn't get moving until like 10:30. But it was so worth it. I hope tonight we get to talk to Krista and some of the designers more!

The Prize:

Some little changes. The whole "there's a home and a hot meal for everyone" bit was extended, with more about poverty and helping people.

We're back to the DJ striking down people during The Prize so I'm going to be honest I was kinda distracted during the second half. He was doing wonderfully.

My Weird:

Ok I will have to write a whole new thing about Grace and Tye's new dynamics. There's less focus now on Grace being kinda pushy with their relationship while Tye is more worried for the future. Now it's a lot more about Tye not knowing who they're going to be, much more subtly just not knowing if being married, attaching themselves to one person right this minute, is what they want. Because what if they want to change? There's some added conversation between Tye and the DJ there too, which lays out the wider themes of the show while speaking to Tye's character.

My Weird was absolutely crushing, it was stunning. No major differences just. Them.

Squaredance / Showdown:

THEY LET THE DJ BE HOMOPHOBIC AGAIN

They let the DJ be homophobic again

For those who don't know, the verse around the line "boys are studs and girls are sluts and queers ain't even s'pposed to do that stuff" was cut in MSM

BUT IT'S BACK NOW. WOOOOOO

Otherwise? No big differences. Good Rodger and Dakota chemistry, different from either that we've seen but that's largely thanks to Rodger's new character being more religious. I'll also have to make a whole post about that aspect, I know people were a little worried it would make him the one "in the wrong" in their relationship, but it really doesn't at all. He's a lot like MSM Rodger, generally very anxious, and it comes off like he's using his religion as an easy way to explain his anxiety. He's not just a prude, he is young and worried about his own feelings as well as what his religion tells him.

But besides the new dynamic in the subtext, nothing new here. Once again I was kinda distracted by the DJ.

Bacchanal:

Changed Dionysus to Bacchus.

With the new Harper & Janelle dynamic, the DJ now tells Janelle "she broke up with you, remember?"

Electric Future:

WONDERFUL projection mapping here, I really enjoyed how the commentator's booth was done separately so it stood out.

Amazing Cyrus. I haven't talked about him much but I like what they've done with the character, leaning into the jock aspect and running away from his problems. Also it's no longer "crushed in a car accident right after they had a fight" it's "crushed in a car accident while he was driving" so ;-;

Uh there was a moment where the DJ put his hand on Cyrus' while he was in the chair and leaned fully over him and into his face. That is all.

ALSO the DJ could FEEL the shocks and he was enjoying them. Like he was getting a kick out of them.

For those wondering, the Mo ending was reversed. It was back to a slightly adjusted version of the original 2015 ending. Which I prefer. That's another post <3

Seconds:

We cried. Amazing. Man I can't wait to see the show again tonight!

but that's mostly because I already love milotic!! it's my number one favorite pokemon, with cresselia following closely behind (whose design I also like, but don't wanna show until she appears in the comic. I think I posted it on twitter once, but good luck digging through that if you wanna find it)

out of characters who have actually shown up, my favorite is dielle! I struggled for a while finding a good look for her, before hitting (what I think is) gold. maybe I just like fluffy cats? hehe

I do also like rune and malachi's designs, but I actually can't take credit for them! you may remember a previous ask I mentioned I was playing design telephone with those two since they were my oldest characters- and trying to get out of my head to redesign them was a tough task. so, I enlisted the help of my partner Pika to help me redesign them!

She took Rune from this:

So you can thank her for Rune's cute pink heart motif, instead of looking like she rolled in dirt! She also gave her the trademark Vulpix curls back. I ended up slicking her hair back later because Rune has a lot of expressions with her eyebrows that got covered up by the hair, which made drawing her a pain.

And Malachi used to look less like a half-evolved Shinx and more like a very small Luxray:

I love this rendition of him a lot more haha, he looks like such a lil nerd! He also got his tail back in this redesign, which I quite liked. It's hard to imagine both of them with their old designs now!

As far as designs go, I also like Requiem's! Their design actually has a little bit of a backstory, funny enough. See when I was a kid, my mom was friends with a face/body painter at the local art market, and I loved getting paintings of various things I liked. One such thing was [REDACTED], my absolute favorite pokemon for SOME REASON as a kid. I would bring a reference for her (in the form of one of those pokedex books found at book fairs) and I always loved her style and thought she was an amazing artist for being able to paint full characters in mere minutes. One day I forgot to bring a reference of [REDACTED] and she went by memory- it looked a bit bootleggy, but I was absolutely enamored with the design. So soon I started "forgetting" my reference... on purpose. I loved seeing how the design for [REDACTED] developed and became something new over time. I think she was always a bit embarrassed with the inaccuracies, but my favorite one was one that made [REDACTED] look like a completely different pokemon. Like some sort of big, flowy purple dragon kangaroo creature. I think I especially loved it because it looked like a combination of [REDACTED] and [REDACTED... 2!]. That was the last time she drew [REDACTED] for me, and she retired from face/body painting shortly after to pursue other artistic interests. A lot of Requiem's design is based off of what I remember from that painting! Though without kangaroo legs, haha. I'd love to share a picture of the painting, but I'm not sure if we ever took one. Maybe I'll bug my mom to see if we can find it.

I won't be sharing the artist's name here due to internet privacy reasons, but I do have some art she made for me once! I didn't have a bedroom for many years growing up, and my mom's solution to that was a (kinda crusty) camp trailer, which her friend painted the front of with a fun ocean view. This trailer has long since fallen into disrepair (it's almost completely rotted now), but the painting still remains.

and to give you an idea of how far flung her designs could be without reference, here's the seahorse toy I had that painting was based off of haha

Wenzhou Set 1 (Handcrafted)

Following up yesterday's Dong Fang Yuechu, we have this little Wenzhou set by this same, extremely talented artist.

If you think I can't get enough of this artist's hand-crafted figs, you'd be right! I have more on their way to me even now, including, yes, Wenzhou set 2.

If you haven't read yesterday's post, or if you haven't read this previous post where I talked about Mid-Autumn, Snow Mountain Edition, then you should know I bought this fig set from a fan artist on Xianyu that designs and creates Word of Honor / Junzhe figures. This set are made-to-order figs, meaning that she has this style up in her store and will make it when ordered. She says that she needs a few days to create the fig, but I've noticed that everything I've ever bought from her has shipped immediately, in-stock or otherwise.

These figs arrived wrapped in plastic wrap and cushioned with a bit of polyfill. I did have the warehouse wrap these in air column bubble wrap, since I don't trust something this small and delicate to anything else. Since it's just polyclay, it seems to be pretty resistant to breaking, but crushing damage would absolutely destroy it.

Unlike yesterday's fig, I gave these a nice dusting with my untrustworthy but still useful feather duster, and then brushed the travel lint off with a clean makeup brush. I did pretty well, although I did notice during upload of the pics that a few pieces of grass from the green grass base made their way onto the figs. It's just so hard to see - these figs very small, and my close up vision is not as good as it used to be.

How small you say? Tiny. So small! I'd say a little over half the size of a normal fig, not counting the bases. Here to illustrate relative fig sizes is our Ghost Valley Master. Thank you for your service!

I fell in love with this set immediately. Their faces are so, so cute!

The level of detail is all the more impressive for being so small.

Hmm the detail on these pics are not astounding. The light I took them in wasn't great. I'll take some close ups too so you can actually see all the wonderful detail.

I really like how she did all the hair detail and of course both of their hair ornaments. I particularly love whenever fig makers replicate this particular hair tie of A-Xu's. It's so great!

The little poses with the hands are just so cute. We can't see much of A-Xu's face here since his bangs cover it up, but we can see Lao Wen smiling away!

Why not smile? He's walking along with his favorite person in the jianghu! Who also looks very sweet and happy! I just love them.

Swapping sides so you can get a better view! Alright, let's finish up the two up and down sides so we can get to the details.

Hehe, not too much to see here, although I'll note they look just as cute from this angle.

There we go! Onto the details. I'm going to bring these figs downstairs and see if I can't get some better light somehow.

Well I'll tell you what, the better light did an exceptional job of showing me where I hadn't dusted all the lint off! My goodness. I went back and cleaned it up, but ignore any stray bits. Hopefully this gives you a good amount of detail of his beautiful waist ornament and the painted detail on his robes.

His hairpin is so beautiful I had to show you a picture of it. Just for something like this, can you imagine how long it took to make? To keep referring back to the costume to make sure it was perfect in every detail? Just incredible.

He's so beautiful I just wish my photographic (and dusting!) skills were up to the task. I see my camera decided to focus on his lovely costume instead of his expressive eyes, but hopefully this is at least a little bit better than the further away ones.

Yes, A-Xu, you're perfect, and you've never done anything wrong in your entire life. No I will not be taking any other opinions from the jianghu, thank you!

His hair tie is perfect. I really like how she modeled his hair here, it's lovely. You can see the details and beautiful lines of his robe here - even the sleeves are so artfully done.

Just so delightful. I'm so happy with these figs! I can promise you when the next set arrives, they too will jump to the head of the fig-posting line.

1. What’s your favourite sims death? Definitely the satellite death, because that was so memorable I still remember the first time my sims died of that! 😅 But I also really like the death by cowplant.

3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? No? I make them excercise to go back to thin based on the situation but I don't cheat to make them thin lol.

6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? The Christmas pack that was first released, when stuff packs weren't even a thing yet! I got that because my parents mixed that up with the base game! 😅 The concept of expansion packs was very foreign to most people at that time haha

20. How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? It definitely improved a lot imo, but it's not like there's a wrong and right way that you need to improve? Back then I never played rotationally, and all my families followed the same path basically: get married, have kids, work hard, die. Now my sims and stories are a bit more diverse and I really enjoy that!

24. How do you edit your pictures? I change that around a lot, usually I just find a psd or an action around here and use that until I get bored of it haha. My pictures are nothing extraordinary I'd say.

25. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? Ngl, I'm super excited about the horse pack, and I really hope some of you talented angels can convert the horses to be functional for the sims 2 🤞❤

I feel like a spiritual sequel to “80 for Brady” would be “Draft Dodgers for Rodgers” in which 4 ancient hippies from the Vietnam era (Steve Buscemi, Geoffrey Rush, Al Pacino, John Goodman) sneak across the border from Canada in an attempt to watch fellow hippie Aaron Rodgers get to his second Super Bowl at age 54. Martin Kove plays a hard nosed yet incompetent cop trying to catch them. Bakh and Cobb are there too. Christopher Walken makes an appearance because it’s that kind of movie. There’s at least 1 extended ayahuasca hallucination scene. Everybody ends up getting covid

Alright, anon, here I am, ✨FINALLY✨ publishing your amazing and funny idea!!!

It took me a minute (ok, a few days...👀🤭😜💓) because I wanted to find clips and pictures for all of everything you have describe. 😊🌟💯🔥

First and foremost, I would so go see this movie if it were real. (For context, I saw 80 for Brady the weekend it was released because of course I did 😅💞)

This idea overall sounds silly, entertaining a.f. and all around like a good time!!

To add onto your idea:

It would at least have to be rated PG-13, especially because of the ayahuasca hallucination scene. I also suspect that there will be a bit of swearing, heavy partying and drinking, too. PLUS not to mention that they are on the run from the law and that will provide a whole 'nother set of mischievous/dubious acts. 😏😉😝

Real quick, for those who might not know, this is what Google says the definition of "ayahuasca" is:

"A South American psychoactive and entheogenic brewed drink traditionally used both socially and as a ceremonial or shamanic spiritual medicine among the indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin, and more recently in North America and Europe."

(In other words, hippie tea 😅☮️🫖🍵)

Now, as for who's gonna direct this amazing monstrosity, I have pulled together three options.

There's Kyle Marvin, who directed 80 for Brady.

Then I have Peter Segal, who directed two of my personal favorites, Tommy Boy and 50 First Dates.

Last but not least, there's Dennie Gordon as an option. Dennie was the director of the first Joe Dirt movie (comedy writer Fred Wolf directed the second).

Either one of these three would be wonderful and would understand that there is a more deeper heart and soul in the middle of this otherwise goofy flick. (:

Anon, you and I seem to understand each other, so I'm gonna go ahead and say that we can be co-screenwriters and executive producers for this!!!

If we really were out to make this, that is. 🤭😊🤓

ALSO!!! Draft Dodgers for Rodgers is an EXCELLENT title; I love it a lot and am really proud of you for coming up with this title (and the idea in general, of course!!)!!

Now, before moving on to everything else, I must discuss this film's soundtrack.

Clearly there's gonna be a lot of classic rock and older country tunes because that's the era that these men are from.

The classic rock is not gonna be anything too rough/screamy/meataly, though...I'm primarily thinking about stuff from the mid 60's and most of the 70's. Cover songs from and during this era are absolutely acceptable. 😌

Also, because this is an Aaron Rodgers movie, there has got to be a few Taylor Swift songs mixed in as well!!

I don't know if he can, but Aaron can try to pick put his top three tracks from each album/era as songs to possibly put into the overall end product.

And you know what, while we're at it...

Dolly Parton recorded a new, original song specifically for 80 for Brady so whose to say that Taylor couldn't do the same for this movie?!

Her fans, Aaron included, would be very likely to love it, no matter what it sounds like. (:

Now, to address all of your points...!!

I'd like to take a moment to share the other ask you sent me after I wrote this (the first post, hehe).

Replacing Geoffrey Rush with Jeff Bridges was a really great call; I'm so glad that you remembered Aaron's obsession with The Big Lebowski and the exact sweater that he copied from that movie!!! For everyone's viewing pleasure, here is Aaron wearing said sweater next to a still of Jeff's character (named The Dude) wearing the sweater.

Also, I wouldn't be me if I didn't find pictures of the rest of this hypothetical cast, just so that everyone knows for sure what these guys look like.

actually yes, she’ll keep up the tradition!! unlike her other siblings, she'll have the advantage of growing up on the farm her whole life; she’s a rough and tumble country girl through and through 😌 i’m not sure how old we’ll see her grow before the story ends (we all know how slowly i move around here...) but i imagine that she gets really into agriculture in a way that her parents didn’t – mikaela and danny wanted a little farm for fun. but i can see sadie buying all the surrounding property and really growing crops as a job. and there is nothing that builds muscle more than good honest manual labor lmaoo

@sublimesims omg thank you 😭😭😭 it was one of my favorites to make!! i can’t take credit for the beer bottle outline, i knew i had to make it as a pose when i saw this picture on pinterest

but it took me hours to make!! i made the poses first, then ripped tom & casper’s models so i would have their exact body sizes, then put everything into blender and added each beer bottle individually until it was all shaped the way i wanted it to be, then turned that into one object, put it in game, etc. etc. i’m really proud of how it turned out hehe thank you again!! 💖

i don’t know anything about computers and i think recommending them to people is tough because “cheap” means different things to different people, so your best bet is probably to go into a store that sells computers and ask around!! the employees will ofc try to upsell you, but generally if you keep your price firm as soon as you walk in the door, they will help you find the best one in that range :)
