Hello!

Firstly, although I watch basically every crunchcraft stream, sometimes I miss details especially if multiple people are streaming at once, but I'll try my best and maybe have a look at the VODs tomorrow (which I am very happy to do btw)(and I haven't been able to watch any of Miyoungs solo stuff really because she streams too late for me TT ^ TT )

Ok so, I think we're on the same page with the pets- I don't think she ever gave them names- especially the llamas and her parrots- but i'll double check. I didn't watch when she got the cats so idk about that either.

Foolish has visited the deep dark (in the mine near his boat) a couple of times, and came across another portion of it when adventuring with Miyoung and Karl more recently.) But the first time he came across it was when mining for resources with Tina a couple of days after Karl joined- so significantly after his first death. I would agree that he is definitely more careful while in caves now, especially because he knows very little about the deep dark. However, he is very steadfast and curious by nature so he has been taking more risks. Besides just being curious and a bit stubborn, I think his persistance to mine and explore unsafe areas comes from him identifying his role (at least until sam started the iron farm) as the provider for the server- being the most competent minecrafter- risking his life in the pursuit of vital resources to ensure the future safety of his friends, e.g Iron armour for Tina.

The boys are really dedicated to the One Piece bit LMAO, so I predicted with Sykkuno being a marine it would create new tensions. In One Piece, even though there is competition and often battles between pirate crews to claim the title of king of the pirates etc., there is a common enemy in and unspoken alliance against the Marines (who are basically the government/ military) who want to take down all pirates. Therefore, in that way there could still be a significant and central rivalry between pirates like Karl and Foolish, while they acknowledge a wider issue in the common enemy of the marines aiming to stop them both.

Also yes, transcribing Karls book was a lot, but top tip, I figured out that (if you are on laptop/pc at least) you can screenshot/ clip the image of the page from the stream and then input it into a browser image to text converter, that made it a lot quicker.

glad to know im not the only one having a hard time with the pet names :') I only knew of muffin bc Tina mentions her when she was talking to miyoung in one of her late night streams, and she got the cats from karl/foolish's streams when they were coming back from adventuring i think? idk if she ever picked names for the parrots/llamas, and she usually mentions them offhandedly in her streams so they're a blink or you'll miss it kind of thing compared to foolish and karl

it's actually SOOOO interesting that they found the deep dark after Foolish's first death, like, especially pretty early on when the revival system was placed! I kinda had a lore-y headcanon similarly that he was pretty level-headed leader and explorer, only much more rebellious and stubborn headed when he first joined the server. Through his first death, he has had this little anxiety that he carries with him about caves and unforeseen dangers now. He get very protective and afraid for his friends when they go in the dark, mining and such (I like a little angst sprinkled here and there). And he make judgements and analyses of other's first deaths as well in order to better himself (the vod reviews). I think crunchcraft!Foosh really understood the weight of his death bc through his hubris (love for treasure and recklessness), he left tina in a dangerous cave alone without a way to safely navigate back home that basically sparked this whole death tax and revival fees. Like imagine having a friend so so integral to your survival and well-being you bend the rules of the universe/server to just have them back. That's some fucking poetry like,,,, what in the accidental characterization that's just ... 🤌*chef's kiss*🤌

:O aaah! i'm so relieved you know one piece bc I would have never gotten that reference! ever! I hope they go through with it in their RP-ing, even a little bit, I would love love love to see it happen and the chaos that would ensue. esp if sykkuno is the opposing force sldklsdk *side eyes his first time meeting rae on mc he blowed her up accidentally*

omg the book thing is genius, im stealing that method now hehehe XD i was typing as i watch the entire time! ;-; i was about to quit thank god he only went up to 18 pages in mc

I have like, one drabble for miyoung's first day on my queue ready to post and working on foolish's and maybe karl's first days as well. it's suuuuuper fun thinking about how they would be interpreted story/plot-wise!

I've been reading your Tales of Caleb Wittebane story and honestly your grasp of 1600s America makes the worldbuilding very interesting. I admire your dedication to making it as accurate as you can!

I've done so much research--!! I know so much about Connecticut Hartford and the witch trials, and Pequots, you don't even know half of it.

As a non-american, I never thought I'd know this much about a state's history lol. For one, Connecticut has a whole museum dedicated to the history and culture of the Pequot tribal nation! Super fascinating check it out!

I think I've consumed every documentary available on youtube twice, as well as scraped sites like Wetherfield's historical society & Hartford museum's sources and recommendations, just to get the detail snippets up.

Both Wethersfield and Hartford are very obvious inspirations for Gravesfield! Considering they have so many similar things appearing in them. I mean, just look at Hartford's founder statue lol:

I did look into the work behind the costume designs for movies like VVITCH, Salem and Sleepy Hollow, just to consume the visual knowledge of what experts had to say about it. Y'know? :D Saves me the work to listen/read what experts have to say about it!

Looking into the witch trials too (which took place before Salem) is also very interesting! Though, Gravesfield is inspired by it, so I'm allowing myself some creative freedom. Especially in regard to what "witchcraft" happens. Considering, Evelyn is a real witch and her magic has an actual system behind it.

Matthew Hopkins was a real witch finder, which I believe Jacob is referencing. But in true Disney fashion, I changed his name to Anthony instead, so it isn't a ~real~ historical figure. :P

I like history, but my area of fascination is social culture. So a lot of what I dig into is everyday life, behaviour and objects, fashion and how things are used.

It's been particularly fun to look into Woodsmen and what their actual duties/lives were like! :D And right now I'm looking more into crime and punishment. Which is also a lot of fun!

I don't save all my sources because I just write down in my notebook of what is relevant for me and the story. So I won't say I'm a 100% accurate, but I'm like... a solid 70%??? Which is good enough for me! Heheh!

idk about you fam but history immerses me creatively. Because the more I find - like little objects and what they ate, wore, things like that - it makes me grounded and I can see it so much clearer what is happening and what SHOULD happen.

Like, when Evelyn meets Mr Hopkins and Caleb keeps elbowing her to be quiet. It's not in-text, because I want the reader to be mystified with Evelyn more in that scene; But she is not supposed to talk with Mr Hopkins so frankly. And, she responds to his "how do you do" incorrectly, she answers it! You're supposed to reply the same in return "How do you do." "How do you do." Which is what Caleb did!

So she's a weirdo! :D For me, that really helps me write Evelyn clashing and standing out more. And amplifies Caleb's nervousness of her strangeness by others. He is very self-aware of social status and position. Which she is not. So he is her perfect guide! :D

Episode catch up~

The Watcher and A Distant Shore: Both have their merits and demerits; but I will say I liked the cast and the creative choices the writers took (keeping The Watcher anonymous, having Joe recommend Cathy, the lady in Cali helping out after news of her friend's death, etc.) ACQUAINTED WITH THE NIGHT-- and what an incredibly fitting context (Nan, you genius.) Father hovering around Vincent during those episodes, worried about his son (and Cathy, too) and trying to cheer him up and distract his mind (impossible.) Mouse and the shell and Vincent's dream and reaching Cathy. Overall, I liked both in their own ways and wouldn't mind rewatching. Also, Joe continues to be stellar (really grew on me), Jenn and Rita have interesting appearances. ...Although, Cathy, I do have a bone to pick with you throughout all of The Watcher.

Trial: Enjoyed all aspects of the case; and that the episode tackled the injustices and inabilities of the system, the victims, and the society at the time. But it's a start. And all the characters and Vincent's dreams of the boy and Pascal's appearance and Joe's ups and downs. And most of all, their superior was right: they needed Cathy to fight the symbolic war right up against the murderer's shark lawyer-- there's a reason this guy's their boss.

A Kingdom by the Sea: Those were actually CIA?? Baffled. Elliot's back and Cathy needed to put several breaks on the whole debacle before it escalated to Vincent having to kill, being torn up over the kiss, and feeling that Cathy's cut earlier and his stab now were signals of life. Father continuing his worried streak with no pushback and maximum support is sweet if veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery telling about his read on Vincent's emotional state. Elliot's father's death was quite the turn; and their rotten relationship definitely explains the dreams of a man who wanted to prove himself by building the biggest tower possible. Two things struck me: Cathy listened to Vincent tearing those men apart and kept traipsing away in the tunnels, not addressing it later and pretty much over it compared to Vincent; and she didn't seem to notice how deeply that affected him, addressing only his confusion and grief and hurt at her fluctuations with Elliot. And secondly, her dismissal of Elliot's contradictions-- a man who is able to live with two warring sides and not let it drag him down or back-- by saying: “How does it matter, Vincent? It’s… life"; and that is incredibly indicative of the core of their relationship. Cathy doesn't seek to understand: roses bloom out of blood sacrifices; life is beautiful; there is ugliness separate from beauty; contradictions don't mix; Elliot must be all bad or really good deep down and didn't realize it himself rather than an intriguing mix of the two; and Vincent's hands are her hands, beautiful, but the blood they shed does not (read: cannot) stain his soul. And she is very, very wrong about all of those things.

Squeeee, you're getting so close to the trilogy! The Hollow Men is the perfect episode to lead into it. Please tell me you plan on watching all three eps of the trilogy in the same sitting. And you must let me know before you start S3. I have things to tell you.

I really like The Watcher now. I wasn't crazy about it the first time I saw it, but there's gobs of foreshadowing in it that I didn't pick up on until after the trilogy aired and then after the show was cancelled and I did my first rewatch and had time to think hard about the series as a whole. Keep in mind we had to wait 7 months between S2 and S3. Which back then was a long time for network shows. Lots of time to go back and pick up all the threads missed the first time around. Also tons of rumors flying around that summer (some true, some not) about what was going to happen in S3, or if we'd even get one. The Classic fans had already circled the wagons and decided they hated S3 before it even aired. But I digress.

Not sure if you've noticed this or not, but other than once, after Cathy gets beat up in An Impossible Silence (where he keeps watch on her while still being as close to outside as he can get), Vincent never steps foot in her apartment. So it's significant in The Watcher that he's actually considering her invitation to come in, because that's a line he's drawn in his own mind about what's allowable behavior and what isn't.

Mouse and the shell and Vincent's dream and reaching Cathy.

My favorite part of A Distant Shore was V & Mouse talking at the Mirror Pool (a scene GRRM wrote in order to get the ep up to the full running time) and Vincent in his chamber holding up the shell and then scooping up the sand and taking a big ol' whiff of the Pacific Ocean. Such a Vincent thing to do. Cast and crew loved working on this one since they all got to get off the sound stage and spend a few days at the beach. I remember being so amused that V & C acted like the four days she was gone was more like four months. 🤣

...Although, Cathy, I do have a bone to pick with you throughout all of The Watcher.

Don't have much to add about Trial, except in response to this: there's a reason this guy's their boss.

I'm shoving my fist in my mouth so I don't let anything slip out. We'll touch on this later.

It was an okay episode, but nothing really memorable.

A Kingdom by the Sea (aka The Episode That Humanizes Elliot Burch). I adore this episode! I also adore Elliot.

Wasn't the scene on C's balcony that opened the show wonderful? Kissing her injured finger without thought and the heat of the look they shared and C refusing to let Vincent turn away from it. Lovely.

But, yeah, again with the death and desire symbolism, and blood as a sign of life. As Vincent said to Father, "The grave is a fine, safe place. But if we live, we bleed." That'll come back to haunt him.

Father continuing his worried streak with no pushback and maximum support is sweet if veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery telling about his read on Vincent's emotional state.

Like I've said before, Father knows his son very well. He has a lot of first-hand experience, after all.

Quick trivia time before I get to the meat of this. GRRM wanted the scene with V and C in his chamber to end with a kiss. He wanted V to lean in after she told him she wished it was him and take that kiss. Alas, Koslow nixed it. But I love that GRRM wanted it there. His scripts are always so, so good.

And meanwhile, as they're in the tunnels Elliot is like, "What the hell is that?? What was that??" Yeah, Cathy has grown very blasé about Vincent's killings, hasn't she? And she really seems blind to the effect it has on him. She's also blind to the duality within everyone, and specifically within Elliot and Vincent. I've always felt like Vincent posing those questions to her about the duel nature of man was him asking that question in relation to how she was able to process and justify what she sees in him, not Elliot. But it just flew right over her head, because despite what she thinks she knows about V, he tends to comes at things sideways, rather than directly. She never figures that out.

“How does it matter, Vincent? It’s… life"; and that is incredibly indicative of the core of their relationship. it happened broskis!! i'm 17 now!! and life is a hellscape :DDDDD

genuinely though, i need to take a moment to look back on the past year and thank the rottmnt fandom for everything it's brought to my life, and all the joy it continues to bring. i joined the fandom sometime in december after seeing a meme, and that led me down a whole fuckin rabbit hole. i had no idea that i would get to meet the most wonderful people, and have the chance to improve my art skills and writing skills in a community that is so earnestly friendly and such a safe space for me. i have no intentions of stopping contributing to it any time soon, but it feels amazing to know that i'll always have this space to think back on as a warm memory in the future.

everyone here is so kind, and creative, and it really helped me in a time where my mental health was fucking terrible and the only thing that helped was drawing fugking turgles sduyfgkusdyfhasdifukh i love you all, i cherish your friendships, whether i know you through discord, or on here, or if i've never spoken to you before, but you've enjoyed the things i've made, you're amazing and i love you

Hi! It's anon that keeps forgetting it's Friday on Friday SO I'M SENDING THIS ON WEDNESDAY FOR LATER BEFORE I FORGET. AGAIN. (I'm also dnd anon)

I've been working on a fanfiction for almost a year now (it also happens to be a reboot of one that's almost 4 years old) and last year after posting 3 chapters I hit a really bad writer's block and got most of the way through writing the 4th, and just stopped and I was so sad because I love writing and I was really excited about the story and the characters, but I just couldn't keep going, my brain just wouldn't let me. But just the other day, my best friend (I told her about your Wayfarer.me comic, I don't know if she's read it yet but if she's here HII VALL 👋) tagged me in a writing tag game and SUDDENLY MY BRAIN IS KICKSTARTED. I'm still struggling with the same scenes, but I spent a whole day rereading the entire thing and fixing typos, and now I'm happily chipping away at the next chapter :DDDDD

I my dnd campaign hasn't started yet, but we had a session zero call a few weeks ago to go over rules and set up our character sheets on the online game board we're using, and I am VIBRATING WITH EXCITEMENT I am ecstatic and I can't wait to play I think about it every day.

For the emoji meme, maybe red guy 🌸?

I like to think that Red is… actually a very creative guy!! I especially like believing he is into puppet making and, doing small or even big crafts in regards to this interest of his, is actually a very calming activity for him!!! It helps take his mind off of things :) Oh!! Also side thing!!!! I also have a personal headcannon of mine that his green and yellow scarf was something that was originally made by duck!! Before June 19th and all, Duck was weaving some yarn and made a normal green scarf, they gave it to Red because.. well… he was their bestest friend!! Despite it seeming simple and plain, Red adored the green scarf and wore it any chance he got. However as time went on eventually Red and Duck had met Doi and… let’s just say Duck and Doi, as a birthday surprise for Red, practically stole the scarf back from Red and wove yellow threads into it, creating a lovely graph type pattern. It was now really the green with yellow stripes scarf we have known to love!! They gave it to him on his birthday and the scarf now has some huge sentimental value to him and now Red brings it around everywhere with him because, having a scarf that represents the two most beloved people in his life, his son and best friend.. it brings him comfort. SORRY!!! Just wanted to share that headcannon while we were on this topic!! ANYWHO!!! Thank you so so much for the request!! hey uno!! i had a question about froggie! so considering yuji was the one to deal the finishing blow to afo thereby ending the fight, i was wondering are we going to get a feral gojo ? like idk i always thought it would be him against shigaraki considering decay can’t reach him because of his infinity? idk i just NEED a feral gojo moment in froggie like when he was fucking up hanami. i feel like that will just shut the pro’s up and show em that gojo is the real deal. like the part you wrote in i think it was chapter 30 or something with the NPC saying gojo was a God and him having literal PTSD because of our blue eyed baby LMAO. thought it was really creative and cool and it made me love froggie even more, so i was wondering if you were still going to explore our favorite blue eyed king :DDDDD

i'm suuuuper conscious with maintaining some kind of balance between jjk and bnha bc it can be very delicate, so putting feral!gojõ against someone would be a bit too much for bnha cast... but the idea really got me thinking tbh bc ngl, chisaki is pretty OP too. i already have froggie planned and outlined but maybe, i'll consider gojō in the equation too...

Hehe complicated ask, since the ocs I think about the most are for me and me alone dndmdkks. I've only ever shared about them to one of my siblings, yet even then, all he knows is their existence. Literal surface level understanding ahahahha.

But I'm so glad you asked anyways >:]]] I'm gonna assume you meant the ones I share about publicly ★★★.

I could talk about any of my public ocs for hours djdksks I love them all so much. Though I think my favorite is my own main character, Avery :DDDDD. I have a feeling the multitude of fully fledged and doodled drawings of them is proof enough ahahahha. Though yeaahh, they're my silly little child who used to hold the weight of my desires in their arms. Well, most at least.

They're the happy ending I yearned for. Birthed from one of the loneliest times of my life, they're supposed to use my love in behalf of me. To make friends and found families despite every flaw I've given them. Overtime, they became their own character, and while they'll always have some of their original purpose still written in them, I decided to just add random silly plots and other shenanigans with them because wow is writing fun sometimes ahhahahaha. They have more angst now <333 And will experience tropes and scenarios not because I want that for me, but because it's silly your honor ★★★. I've associated lots of audio to them now I think djskskw. Together with songs, outfits, moodboards, prompts, aus, etc. etc. Maybe I'll impromptu infodump about them tonight maybe maybe. Still, they're my favorite because at the end of the day, they'll be loved in ways I know I'll be loved someday too. Maybe lately, I've already felt it starting ♡

Honestly no A big surprise to people is that im not actually that creative. I enjoy stuff being more or less canon and thats also what I try to do when I draw. I do like my friends AU stuff like the Aquato mermaid AU that I kinda helped write some stuff and contributed alot of ideas for.

Even made some small sketches, but mainly of Augustus because Im a simp and so is my friend :P Its their design not mine
