You recently joined the hitmen field not too long ago. Still young and new to the workforce, it wasn't the first place you figured to enter for some quick cash. ∆ they totally help/copy each other with their school homework

∆ gregory loves to give tony (& his other friends) drawings as a form of friendly art gifts, and tony kept every single one of it safe in a folder or when he really loves it so much he hangs it up in his own bedroom

∆ gregory doesnt like being touched unprompted, especially by strangers. But whenever he's the one who initiates physical contact, it means he's showing signs of beginning to trust having you around

∆ ^^^ with that said, he developed the tendency to play around with Tony's hand. Poking his palms, playfully intertwining their fingers together, clasping them together as a way of innocently stimming that way, a sign of being very comfortable around him. Tony didn't mind it, he grew to like that habit with greg too

∆ ^^^ greg has smaller hands than tony's. So it was extra cozy when they held hands (even platonically before their relationship became more than friends)

∆ greg loves building a fort, he finds joy in making a cozy tent where he and his best friend(s) can just get lost in their little world together

∆ when tony's sleepovers at greg's became more and more reoccurring, it has become very noticeable to the point his mom and grandma also takes notice. When he's bout to ask his mom, there came a point she just cuts him off with "yes yes you can stay at Greg's tonight, just make sure to text me when you're there okay?" and his grandma chimes in "say hello to Greg for me!" and even started insisting tony bring home made cooking of hers when he goes to his best friend's place. They essentially became a lil extended family through the relationship the kids have as very close friends

∆ tony is the only one in the friend group that calls gregory "greg"—Cassie calls him by his full name while Ellis tends to call him anything else but his real name lmao

Gregory was caught off guard the first time it slipped Tony's mouth, during a situation where he needed some comfort on top of that, so the cute lil nickname felt sorta special to him

∆ greg is very sweet and nice around his friends. so you can imagine the look of surprise in tony's face when he saw the feisty side of greg when bullies try to mess with him or his friends. Just when he thought greg was a pretty cool kid already—he thinks strongly of it being true after that. They make each other feel safe for having one another's back

∆ tony begins to develop the tendency of being lowkey a mom friend around greg. As much as capable greg is on his own, tony observed that he still tends to forget about lookin after himself when he gets busy lookin after others, so he's the one to do that for greg. (this becomes such a prominent behavior after overcoming and healing from the GGY incident for both of them)

Like lending him his coat when the lil guy forgets to bring his in a cold weather outside (happens a lot, to the point tony's coat(s) gets mixed up with greg's clothes when he forgets to return it back), or tony packin extra cuz he just have the feelin greg is bound to forget to bring his lol, greg appreciates it a lot tho—tony eventually earned the title of "my knight and shining armor" from greg cuz of the countless times he's been a life saver for him

I finally caved to the cute anime women and downloaded arknights lmfao. Gacha and tower defense normally aren't my thing, but the characters are so goddamn cool that I wanted to see them in context. Feel free to add me!! I can't promise v useful support units at this level but I can always use more arknights friends to mooch off of

The tower defense thing is pretty new to me, but it's been fun learning it! Historically I've been pretty bad with strategy type games, but idk man anime women inspire me to push beyond my boundaries or smth so praise the power of Gay I had a lot of trouble trying to decide who to choose as my free 5*, and talked a lot with some experienced ak friends to try and determine who might be most strategically beneficial. But in the end, I went with my heart...

God I love Manticore. like. sm. u have no idea. I'm already a sucker for arthropod girls, but look at her. Apprehensive killing machine that frequently turns invisible, has zero clue how to social, resultingly has no friends, and-- not knowing how else to-- communicates primarily in sticky notes she silently leaves behind. Poor girl deserves a goddamned hug. LOOK HOW CUTE SHE IS

I want to take a crack at making a low poly N64-lookin model of her... no promises but be on the lookout 👀

The Kenobi-Skywalker family (except Padme lmao) all has same-colour syndrome. Obi-Wan get’s roasted for his tan-beige-white wardrobe, but he actually has the most variety in his closet. His boots are burnt orange! That’s so much variety! Anakin wears black, grey, and shades of black and grey (including a purple tone dark grey he’s such a fashion icon). Leia is pure white which we COULD talk about the symbolism but I hate symbolism so the real thing to talk about is how she’s not constantly walking around with stains like I would be wearing my breakfast all day. Luke’s is also black. But while Anakin’s is Goth Flavor, Luke’s is Emo Flavor, and I think that’s a really important part of their personalities. Luke steals Anakin’s shirts when he wants to look cute cause daddy is waaaaay taller.

10:06 - Just seeing Optimus like that reminds me… why don’t the other have holoforms like Arcee? Their windows don’t have a heavy enough tint that an absence of driver does goes unnoticed.

12:13 - Knockout really took down Optimus and just stood on him. Power move.

12:31 - if they’ve only NOW gotten it down, then there’s something wrong with them.

12:38 - Knockout reacted before Optimus started to move, but I now understand why Knockout stood on Optimus.

12:43 - that could’ve looked so cool.

12:44 - but Optimus said no

13:10 - Damn, Miko..

13:12 - She was complying yet the officer decided to be really rough.

13:18 - I now point out the foreshadowing when Bulkhead talked about Miko getting arrested.

Honestly I’m not a big fan of this episode. It’s okay, but definitely doesn’t stand out as much as it could’ve. I thought the plots were very weak and there were very few iconic moments. Considering that this was the first appearance of Knockout and Breakdown, it’s an underwhelming reveal.

How do I tell you guys about the unhingednessnessness that is this game without spoiling it?

Well, for one, I can tell you that it's pretty damn crazy. Like always, it starts off so cutesy and "Oh, this guy isn't toxic at all! What do they mean 'yandere'?" to "WHAT THE F--K. IS HAPPENIIIIING?!". Okay, maybe not that unhinged -- actually, it isn't as unhinged as I'm suggesting at all -- but it still gets pretty crazy pretty fast.

This review is going to be way shorter than the other ones that I've done because the game itself is pretty short. It's only like 15 - 20 minutes long, maybe a 5 minute difference if you get the same "What the hell?!" reaction that I had at a very specific part that I'm going to try to avoid telling you.

That being said, the intro is about as long as I can make it considering the game is so short, so let's cut the bullshit and start summarizing.

So, boom.

We get off of work, and we are greeted by our man~

His name is Takuya, and...meh, a little basic lookin' but he still cute or whateva. I'd let him hit it.

Anyways, so Takuya and us are making small talk. In the midst of this small talk, he goes on this weird mini rant about technology, and basically, how he feels that it shouldn't really be a thing because it ruins relationships. We just kind've brush him off, like "Yeah, I know", end the conversation there, and eat dinner.

During dinner, we're talking again, and here he comes with the heavy stuff again. He drops the whole "Do you love me?" question because he's like really, really, really insecure about this, but we reassure him, and he's good again; however, now we're like:

"Aha, time for dessert, knowwhatlmean~?" Oh lawd...

And he's just "Shiiit, okay! But let me do the dishes first". Wack...

So, we put our little flirt session on pause for a second for household chores because he's just got to be the perfect house boyfriend, but it's paused for more than a second because we start feeling real dizzy and pass out.

For the sake of not ruining it, we have this pretty gnarly dream and wake up in a cold sweat because of it, but we are pretty damned disoriented because the dream was super vivid which was super weird because it felt so real. Takuya sees/hears us kind've freaking out and was just like "Don't even trip. I got you. Just go back to bed." but it's like, nah, son, because why are you just brushing me off when I'm trying to confide in you?

You already know that this started a whoooole bunch of shit, and it starts to rapidly go downhill from here. No, I am not telling you what happened or even going to give a synopsis because I can't! Lol don't look like that! You already know that I wasn't going to tell you how it ended nor all the juicy details because I need you to play this for yourself! But I will leave you with this very concerning screenshot from the game.

Like I said, 100/10 I would give you more details, and believe me, I really, really, REALLY want to but also like I said, the game was super short and pretty much to the point. It damn near went from 0 to 100 without much warning -- it lowkey did, to be real with you. You deadass just have to play the game yourself, and I promise you'll see what I mean when I say it truly is short and psycho.

For it being so short, this visual novel is pretty damned intense, and it is good!

The best part about this game to me is the visuals of Takuya's sprite. As per usual, you'll know what I'm talking about when you play it yourself. There has been quite a few times that, when I read a visual novel, the imagery around the sprite will startle me, especially if it was meant to be a jumpscare or something, but holy shit, seeing Takuya's sprite change was extremely unsettling this time around. And then--! What made it all the more effective was what he said when the personality flip happened.

Ugh! It's so frustrating because I want to tell you guys about that scene so bad, but it'll ruin a crucial part of the story, and it's burning me not to include it in this review. I'll leave you with this though, and for like the third time at this point, you'll know what I mean if you choose to play this:

• The way that you THINK his sentence is going to end is not the way it ends, and it ran a literal shiver down my spine the execution was so good • That scene alone made that entire game. It was pretty good, but then that scene carried it on its shoulders. It really solidified the tone and creepiness and suspense of the game

That's pretty much all I have to say! Like I said, definitely play the game yourself, because explaining it without the really intense part just does not cut it. You honestly have to play it because you are missing out on a short, intense little gem of a game. Just as a fair heads up, it's a touch bit predictable, but at the same time it's not. If you're like me, you'll have a very clear suspicion during a specific part, and while you're right, it's not exactly going to pan out the way that you think nor for that particular reason. There's still some surprise to it, so don't let that deter you!

As always, be sure to leave your comments on the dev's page if you feel like they've done a good job, and you want to give them that extra reassurance to keep making games. yk the first couple of episode drops were a bit ehh to me but like.. these two just hit Right. maybe bc i knew what to expect pacing/story wise now? either way, they're def my faves so far, especially ep 5. that's my Favorite favorite :]

spoilers for both eps under the cut, mostly just me blabberin abt what i liked (warning: its alotta alastor)

for ep 5, at first i thought charlastors/radiobelles were winning (and while i don't ship it myself, i was happy for em) but then the realization of 'wait wait wait this isn't romo at all, alastors tryna be a FATHER FIGURE?!' hit instead and i went WILD bc thats 1000% my preferred dynamic for charlie and al. so uh.. yippee dadlastors, sorry charlastors..? gsjahafdaj

also the "Ha! Fuck you." im normal im normal im NORMAL im SOOOO FUCKIN NORMAL (IM CRAZY IM VRAZY I CRAZY IM CRASTY IM FUCKI)

mimzy!! (mimzie??) her intro was abrupt, but she seems like a doll, and her hug with al was real cute. tho i do think she needed that metaphorical kick in the ass abt al's thoughts when it comes to her leeching off his strength for protection. about that..

ALASTOR ACTUALLY CARES. HE CARES. (seemingly, at least). LIKE, HE ACTUALLY LEGITIMATELY, NON-FANONILY, GIVES A DAMN ABT THE HOTEL. HE WENT OUT OF THE WAY TO PROTECT THE PLACE AND TOLD MIMZY TO LEAVE IF SHE DIDN'T COME FOR REDEMPTION. MAYBE ITS IN HIS OWN WEIRD-GUARDED-PETTY WAY BUT FUCK FUCK HOOOLLLYY FUCK ALASTOR CARES

and one more thing b4 i move onto ep 6, i've already seen some ppl comparing what al did to husk in the hall to angel and val's dynamic, and while i do agree the two are both trapped in unsavory deals (loser, baby literally confirms this) i don't think al's ANYWHERE near as bad as val. was what he did fucked up? oh, yes, definitely. but it really?? shouldn't be surprising??? al's in hell ‘n has all this status for a reason, so i was really just waitin for a moment like that to happen. however, it didn't do any lasting damage. at least i really wouldn't say so. most it did was scare the shit out of husk for a minute, nowhere close to what val does to angel on the daily (see: episode 6). tho im willing to admit i might be lookin thru rose colored glasses bc i love al as a character. my opinion might change when/if the actual conditions of al and husks deal are revealed, but as of rn, i think al acted as he did there bc husk attacked a reeeally sensitive subject. he would've just been the petty bitch he always is if husk said like.. anythin else. oh and uhh yeah im abt 85% sure he and lilith have SOMETHING goin on. idk who the hell else would be powerful enough to have alastor on a leash

..oh yeah, lastly, lucifer was cool :] silly silly guy (with lotsa trauma) that hit me right in the daddy issues. funny tho, i rlly dont have much to say abt the guy despite the ep literally being focused on him. his song with charile was spectacular though, i need to listen to it on its own immediately

okokok, episode 6, finally, hopefully shorter than the mess of text above

first off. vaggie = fallen angel theorists, i would like to bow down and apologize for ever doubting you. i was one of the skeptics, i really was, but the show did it in a way that (albeit rushed, but what hasn't been so far?, thaaanks, 8-episode limit..) made it seem believable, with assdam calling her out for it..

but putting adam aside, uh, lute?? maam?? holy fuck, step on me??? please???? i mean uh. sick character design yk ahah ^^

whats her name.. emily? the younger seraphim girl, i liked her, she was a cutie. she really did just seem like heavens version of charlie. and the older seraphim woman i (expectedly) have mixed feelings abt. i feel like all would've be great it adam got outta her damn ear cause she might've actually be down to try the hotel with em gone.. angel was doing so well

speaking of angel, ANGEL!! oh lookit that character development, charlie's gonna be so fuckn proud!!! also, CHERRI!!!! saw someone else say cherris the devil on angels shoulder while husks the (heh) angel, and i have to say i agree. they both want the best for him, they just have different ways of goin about it.

unsurprisingly, fuck Valentino. although i did notice he was wearing a dress today, so. (through gritted teeth) slay.

thiiink that's all i gotta say for today?? besides the fact that next week is gonna be agonizing, ofc :] buckle up ppl we might get a genuine, emotional chaggie fight come next thursday
