Don't know if anyone else has pointed this out, but in the description of Vega’s latest video there’s this quote: "lips that would kiss form prayers to broken stone" and it’s from T.S. Elliot's 'The Hollow Men' poem, which I’ve realised has been referenced MANY TIMES in Vega's videos (and videos concerning him) which is very exciting for my pattern-loving-theory-scrambling brain!
Off the top of my head alone, I believe that in Caelum's reverse comfort audio (the very first mention of Vega) the desc says: "not with a bang but a whimper"
And in Vega's first video (with Freelancer) the desc reads: "between the emotion and the response falls the shadow"
In his first video with him in department custody, the desc is: "between the essence and the descent falls the shadow"
And in the next: "between the motion and the act falls the shadow".
All of these are lines from the same poem and the poem itself is full of references to death and fading stars and eyes and kingdoms and the world ending and all fun theory things that suddenly all seem VERY important and familiar!!!!

Spoilers for Hazbin Hotel!
Read the title. Also some of these may contradict each other I'm just writing as I go.
I have so many questions regarding the series so far and I really hope we get clarification/answers soon.
My questions so far are as follows:
Where's God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit? (Did the angels kick God out? Is Jesus even present in Heaven? Is God and the Holy Spirit one entity or separate?)
How did Heaven become this way? (Apart from the uprisings. I mean when and where is the starting point of all this corruption?)
Where's Eve? (Is she in Hell? Locked away in Heaven? Purgatory? Limbo? [Look I know that there's no evidence that Purgatory and Limbo exists and it's just Heaven and Hell but still, it would be pretty cool.])
Why out of all people is Adam in charge of the exterminators other than being the first human soul on Earth? (Nepotism/Favoritism much??)
How is Adam and Lute recruiting Exterminators? Are they being created somehow or are they like the Hellborns? (The Exterminators seem to follow a certain mindset(I know that they're soldiers but something's off) that they aren't even aware of. If one deviates from the objective then they immediately get punished. Like Vaggie showed mercy to a kid that ended up in Hell, which was the right and moral decision, but get her eye taken out and her wings ripped off. [Speaking of her wings, can we headcanon that she gets phantom pains?] It's similar to what happens if and when an Android becomes a Deviant in Detroit: Become Human.)
Did something happen between Lilith and Alastor? (It's not a coincidence that both have been gone for 7 years.)
What qualifies someone to enter heaven? (It can't be an easy feat due to how small the population is compared to Hell. I mean in Helluva Boss the customers of that one inventor went to Heaven and sent the C.H.E.R.U.B's down to bless him. That could've been for the plot of Helluva Boss but this is Viv we're talking about, I don't think she would've left that line in if it wasn't important. ALSO MOLLY AKA ANGEL DUST'S SISTER IS IN HEAVEN TOO!!)
If Heaven/Seraphims/Angels are responsible for judging souls, then why are so many being sent to Hell? They can't be individual, no it must be by the masses. (Like that one victim who was killed at the camp in Helluva Boss, he just saw something he wasn't supposed to see and wasn't even involved with Barbie Wire n Jimmy's drug deals. Was it because he had the opportunity to rat them out but wasn't able to do so and Heaven punished him for it? Or did he do something that wasn't shown to us off screen?)
Sorry if some of them are really out of left field and the evidence sounds odd I'm just drawing connections where I see them!

So, not an art post but a theory lol
ALSO!! Shout out to @thecartoonuniverse, I watched their breakdown of The Amazing Digital Circus and it was awesome!
Spoilers before the cut! I haven’t used this feature before so I hope I did it right lol
So, the Digital Circus just came out and I had thought. In The Digital Circus, they essentially get their minds erased and live in a place where they arnt required to eat or sleep, however they do these things to try and remain sane. Now why would a "prison" have these qualities? Well it wouldn't. What if instead of a trap, it was just an old video game kids played and popped in and out of? So why would a regular if a bit advanced video game stop letting people out of it?
My idea is that they chose to get trapped there. The outside world was so destroyed that they would rather live their lives out in an old childhood video game, where essentially they could live the rest of their lives in piece.
Now here's where it gets SUPER theoretical and probably not true, butttttt what if The Digital Circus took place at the same time as Murder Drones? The universe had gone nutso and it kindof sucks to be a human, robots are rebelling and what not, so wouldn't like a handful of humans deside go just peace out of reality and hang out in a digital world?

look, I know I've talked about this essay (?) before but like,
If you ever needed a good demonstration of the quote "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic", have I got an exercise for you.
Somebody made a small article explaining the basics of atomic theory but it's written in Anglish. Anglish is basically a made-up version of English where they remove any elements (words, prefixes, etc) that were originally borrowed from romance languages like french and latin, as well as greek and other foreign loanwords, keeping only those of germanic origin.
What happens is an english which is for the most part intelligible, but since a lot everyday english, and especially the scientific vocabulary, has has heavy latin and greek influence, they have to make up new words from the existing germanic-english vocabulary. For me it kind of reads super viking-ey.
Anyway when you read this article on atomic theory, in Anglish called Uncleftish Beholding, you get this text which kind of reads like a fantasy novel. Like in my mind it feels like it recontextualizes advanced scientific concepts to explain it to a viking audience from ancient times.
Even though you're familiar with the scientific ideas, because it bypasses the normal language we use for these concepts, you get a chance to examine these ideas as if you were a visitor from another civilization - and guess what, it does feel like it's about magic. It has a mythical quality to it, like it feels like a book about magic written during viking times. For me this has the same vibe as reading deep magic lore from a Robert Jordan book.

Guys, its not some fucking “bad luck devil” or whatever. It’s clearly this fucking time gargler or whatever the fuck that’s behind all this nonsense. Aguefort literally lays it out for us that the quangle makes things happen out of order. Things like, say…Zelda and Gorgug being broken up even though we know from the Seven that they’re still together in Junior year, or Aelwyn suddenly moving out and going from a snarky 19 year old whose never had a job or gone to college to a middle school teacher with 5 cats in the course of 3 months, or the sophomore album being 10 months late even though Fig only finished her debut a little over 16 months ago AND they were in the middle of the tour, or Hallariel and Gilear getting engaged after like a year when 3 months ago Gilear wasn’t even allowed to sleep in her bed, and Sklonda defending one of the organizers of this folk festival when the festival hasn’t even happened yet, or Figs birthday suddenly moving from Christmas to July.

2023 is the year for asking the burning questions like "What if David Tennant came back to play a queer, nonbinary, nearly-immortal, otherworldly being that loves Earth and whose greatest adversary list somehow includes a cup of coffee?"

COULD VERITAS RATIO BE A WORM?
see the updated theory HERE
the answer 😏 may surprise you
ok listen to me. a long time ago aha made a worm really smart and tried to get it into the genius society. but even though that worm was smart as hell, nous did not give a fuck about it.
Tumblr media
you know who else is smart as hell but nous doesnt give a fuck about?
Tumblr media
heh. yeah. thats right. despite many people (including himself) feeling like nous should have recognized him a loooong time ago, that computer just doesn’t care.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
now, we are left to wonder… why does nous refuse to acknowledge this man..?
i think it’s quite obvious.
my theory is that aha made a second worm really smart. and Then they made the worm into a sexy guy.
and now they’re outside nous’s window, giggling, as everyone in the universe ponders why veritas ratio is not permitted into the genius society.
“what’s wrong, nous? he’s a genius, isn’t he? let him in,” aha goads.
nous is glitching in frustration. “it’s the worm again. i know it’s the worm again.”

No, because people keep acting like Grace Chastity being consumed with a lust for the power that Lords in Black provided her doesn't count as a world ending Cataclysm - but it very much does. Not only has she shown little to no empathy for others throughout the entire show and only ever felt bad for lying to authority figures and being horny - but the final song of the Musical is essentially a reprise of Max's Murder Song/Manifesto which places her as a parallel to Max. Max sings about how he's going to kill ALL the Nerdy Prudes and not once but twice tells the audience that it doesn't matter if someone is actually a Nerdy Prude because he makes the rules and gets to decide who is or isn't a nerd etc etc. Grace's take is that she is going to kill all the Dirty Dudes but she's literally singing it to a guy who has, throughout the entire musical, done nothing to indicate he's a pervy/dirty dude and only kissed her after she asked him too. Like Max, Grace Chastity doesn't actually care if someone genuinely fits the framework of her stated victimology, because she has the power so she gets to make the rules.
Tumblr media
Honestly it's like some people didn't think about the implications.
