You had a very stable grasp of the limits of your relationship. What was appropriate, and what was not. You were quite shy, and Coryo always carried himself with a high level of decorum. You would eat together at lunch, and he would walk you home most days. The weekends, your study dates, were always your favourite. He was significantly more relaxed, but you could still tell he was just a little tightly wound. By now, you've just learned that's who he is. Not overly affectionate, but he cares for you and you care for him.
"I can't stay late today, I'm sorry." You said, genuinely feeling bad for having to turn down the request. In your junior year, you started tutoring for younger grades at the academy and it is something you thoroughly enjoyed.
"I have a test tomorrow! Why can't you stay? Just for a few minutes- I just have a couple of questions." The first year, Aelia whined.
"My boyfriend is supposed to walk me home and he has a tight schedule, but I'll tell you what, I can meet you in the library in the morning before class. That way it will still be fresh in your mind, yeah?" You grinned, and she seemed satisfied as you agreed on a time, not knowing that a few of the girls in your grade were listening in.
"Y/N," Clemensia decided to approach you as Aelia walked off, Arachne and Livia following close behind. "Did I catch you telling someone that you have a boyfriend? Did I hear that right?"
"Oh, well, yes." You answered sheepishly, gathering your things to put in your bag before your next class.
"Really?" Livia chimed in, and you just nodded. "Okay, well, spill. Who is it? Do I know him?"
"Um..." You looked around, deciding what to say. You weren't necessarily keeping it a secret, but you just hadn't felt the need to tell anyone you went to school with. "It's Coriolanus. Snow." You cleared your throat, unsure why you even added his last name. It's not like the name Coriolanus was abundantly common.
"Shut up." Clemensia laughed slightly, eyes widening at you. "You're joking, right?"
"No... We've been together for almost seven months now."
"I just... wow. We had no idea. Seven months! I feel like I've never seen the two of you get closer than two feet apart." You weren't sure whether to interpret this response as teasing or genuine shock- so you just gave them an awkward smile and a small nod before walking away.
At the time, you had never considered how your lack of affection in public could be confusing to people- not that it mattered. Rumors had spread quickly after that, which was to be expected when Livia and Arachne were involved. However, PDA just wasn't your thing. General displays of affection weren't really your thing, either. Both of you always had a lot going on, and having been together for almost a year by now, you knew that you loved him and he loved you. You didn't have to prove it to each other or to anyone, there was no pressure for anything to change. On your end, anyway.
Coryo, on the other hand, was feeling something shift. Leading up to the reaping and more importantly, to the prize. You both were in the running, being in the top twenty-four of your class, and you had no doubt that Coryo was a shoo-in, but you didn't know how extremely anxious it was making him. The now constant thrumming of his heartbeat in his chest and his shaky hands were always less around you, and he can only dream of how much better it would be if he could just hold you.
These days, he'd wake up expecting you in his arms due to a particularly calming dream only to be disappointed. He respected you a great amount and wouldn't want to push your boundaries, however unspoken. Still, he wasn't sure how much longer he could go about his day-to-day without testing his theory that holding you could cure his fears, or at least let him forget about them for only a moment. He would happily take just a second of peace.
Coriolanus usually greeted you outside of your unshared classes, seeing that you tended to stay a few minutes late to ask questions or polish off your notes. He couldn't wait to see you, he needed to.
"Coryo." You smile, walking out of your lecture hall to see him waiting.
"Hi, Love. How was class?" Your boyfriend greets you, joining you on your walk towards the exit of the school.
"It was good. Though, I find the topic of the rebellion kind of redundant at this point." You say, books tucked against your chest under folded arms. "Is it not too soon to discuss it in a history class? I mean, I literally remember what it was like to live in a bomb shelter."
Your joke seemingly lands on deaf ears as he just hums, placing a hand on your lower back to guide you out of the building. This wasn't totally unusual, but with the way he was pushing you, albeit gently, was telling you that something was wrong.
"Is everything okay?" You ask him, looking up at the boy next to you as you reach the bottom of the academy's front steps.
"Fine." Coryo nods, attempting a reassuring smile that he isn't aware falls short.
"Okay, well... If you want to talk about anything, I'm here for you, you know. Always."
"I know. Thank you, Love." He drops his hand from your back to hold your free one, turning in the direction of your apartment.
The next afternoon, you're in the same class, one of the rare ones you don't share with Coryo, taking down notes from the lecture when there's a knock on the door, followed by it creaking open. You pay no mind, taking the opportunity to catch up on everything written on the board.
"May I borrow Y/N, please?" Your boyfriend's voice is scratchy and shakey in a way unfamiliar sounding to you, making your head snap up. You'd never seen him cry before. "Only for a moment."
Your teacher dismisses you, likely on account of your and Coriolanus's mutually spotless records and his red-rimmed eyes. Clearly, you were needed urgently. You leave your bag and your books, ignoring the whistles and heckling of some of your classmates as you rush to the door.
Coryo had reached his breaking point. He was writing his third paper of the week, unable to focus on that and get his mind off of how unlikely it was he would get the prize if the Dean had any say. Sitting in the library, the world had started turning around him. People were talking, laughing, even, and he couldn't take it anymore. The floodgates opened and he had rushed out of the room. He couldn't go home, his attendance would be affected and he'd be throwing away the prize most definitely. He had nowhere to go, except for to you.
You close the door behind yourself, thankful that the hallway is completely deserted during class time. "Hey, what's going on?" You ask, and before you can get a good look at him he's pulling you into a crushing hug, shaking around you.
You're shocked for a moment, pulling yourself out of your head to hug him back. Whatever is bothering him must be bad. He'd hugged you before, but never like this. "Hey, it's okay..." You whisper, rubbing his back. "Let's go outside for a second, yeah? Get some air?" You offer, gently prying yourself from his grasp to look at him.
Coryo can't speak, overtaken completely by the tears flowing down his cheeks and the anxiety flooding every inch of his body. He feels like he could be sick, all he knew that he needed was you. He just nods, trying to regain his composure, if only for the couple of minutes it takes to get outside.
"Okay. Let's go." You smile, trying not to show how worried you are as you wrap an arm around his back, still holding him close to you as if he has a broken ankle and you have to carry him. So far, his theory was proving to be correct. Just having you at his side was calming to him, and mentally he's cursing himself for not voicing his fears to you before they broke him.
As soon as the door of the rarely used back exit to the school is closed, he's essentially collapsing onto the ground, tucking his knees up to his chest and crying into his hands. You're quick to join him, draping an arm over his back and trying to grab one of his hands to hold. Your brow is knit with worry, rubbing his shoulder as he allows you to take one of his shaking hands. "Coryo..." You say softly, trying to get him to look at you but he won't. "What's happening? Talk to me, you can trust me. I just want to help."
He sniffles, looking up at you. "What is it?" You ask again, hoping to prompt any kind of information out of him. When he doesn't answer, you curve your approach to yes or no questions, hopefully, to make it easier on him. "Is someone hurt? Is it Grandma'am? Did something happen?"
He shakes his head slightly with every question, once again avoiding your eyes as he looks down at the ground, occasionally trying to cough out the knot in his throat.
"...Do you want to talk? Or do you just need a hug?" You realize, leaning in so he would look at you again.
He pulls you closer, wrapping both his arms around you awkwardly due to the way you are both sitting. "Just need you here." He mumbles, hardly audible as he buries his face in your shoulder and neck.
Relieved to hear his voice again, you place a hand on his hair and on his back, holding him tight. "I'm here, Coryo. As long as you need me."

in order to ingratiate himself with the plinth family (for the money ofc), snow starts courting sejanus’s sister. he doesn’t expect to actually like her.
𓆙 DRESS - CORIOLANUS SNOW x f! reader (short) summary and tw: coriolanus seeks to manipulate you to gain the plinth favour, but he unfortunately realizes he actually does not mind your prescence. sorry for taking so long to finish, had a rlly long week so i'll finish requests from today to tuesday!! divider credits : @cafekitsune 𓆙
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He let out a gritted response, when you wrapped your arm around his. "Yes..?"
He tolerated you at best, trying to hold in his internalized disgust at your family. They bought their way into this life, not being born into it through your own blood. He had no way to gain his wealth out of nowhere, so you became his next solution. You seemed rather easy to manipulate.
He remember when he first met you, for once he hadn't come up with some vile thought of how to use someone for this own gain. "Would you like to eat with me for lunch?" That was his first step, enticing you to believe he's someone kind. From there, he had earned the respect of your parents and you yourself.
"Coryo, you won't believe it! I saw Livia Cardew get rejected by Dennis Fling!"
He looked at you a little aggravated for a moment, Coryo? Since when did you call him that?
"I can see why." He shrugged, walking a little faster out of uncomfortableness. Why did he feel weird about you calling him that? Lately, you've been more.. noticeable to him. He wasn't particularly a fan of that. He'd only tolerate you for the money. He had a series of events he had planned. Win the hunger games, gain the prize, and marry you out of disgust.
You huffed, wanting him to slow down. "Mind if you slow down a bit?"
He was about to give an aggressive response, but quietly said, "Sure."
Tumblr media
Coriolanus seeked you out, huffing about how you were so useless to give him a letter. He was about to head to his classes, before he saw something that made him stop in his steps. He saw you talking with Sejanus with a frown, what made you look so.. unhappy? Not that he cared, he just wanted to make sure nothing affected his plan. He walked forward, the thought of you lingering.
Tumblr media
You sat at the table, holding a book on the small history of the Hunger Games. You were in the library. The Academy was definitely rich, sometimes you felt too small for the Capitol. You weren't an idiot, you've seen the stares the others have given you. You were too into your reading to hear the familiar footsteps behind you.
Snow was a little surprised to be honest, maybe you weren't as stupid as he thought. Well of course he thought you were.. intelligent, but he just never expected to see you. Not to mention, he was trying to ignore the beat in his heart moving a little faster when he saw you.
He don't know what moved him to do it, but he sat down at the table.
"Mother said she wanted to see you, y'know." You mumbled, ignoring him to finish your book.
He could barely hide his eyeroll, deciding to talk to you. How else could he.. manipulate you?
"What book are you reading?" He placed his attention on the cover of the book.
"Erm, history of the Hunger Games. It goes up till the ninth hunger games." You nervously said, not really expecting him to ask you about it.
For some reason, he spent the rest of the time till the library closed asking you about your specific type of books you hold interest in.
Tumblr media
He had surprisingly gotten close to you, not seeing you as much as a nuisance as you used to he. He first chose you since you wouldn't affect him through love, but lately..
He went to wrap his arm this time around your shoulders, "for the look." You looked at him in slight surprise. You didn't know he was a fan of pda? He once told you that he was usually reluctant to show it unless needed, whatever that meant.
You hummed, not noticing the look he gave you.
You sure didn't seem to have a voice like Lucy Gray, but he supposed you weren't so bad. His eyesight flew to your lips, he never realized how scarlett they were. The opposite of a white rose, that's why he never liked anyone really. They were his opposite, but now he was deciding you weren't such of his opposite as he thought you were.
He remembered when he first met you. You were just Sejanus' little sister back then, someone he had to be near because of Sejanus deciding they were brothers. He wouldn't even see Sejanus as 3rd forgotten cousin if he was forced too. Now, you were something else he wasn't sure what to think of.
"Library again?" Somehow, he had ended up also coming to the library the same time and way as you, as if he had not totally came with you four times after the first.
You had started to get what he was doing now, was this supposed to be his way of non-chalant affection? You raised one of your eyebrows, saying, "I'd expect you to know that after you basically integrated yourself to come with me four times in a row. The least you can do is help me with my project."
He groaned playfully. You looked at him appalled so far in your relationship, he had never really acted playful with you. You slipped your hand into his, trying to ignore how his eyes burned into your face.
When you reached up to the library, he opened the door for you. "Ladies first."
You thanked him, going down to sit at your regular table. You had already grabbed your books, giving one to him as he sat down. Next to you? He always sat across from you. "Find a sentence that proves the concept, okay?"
He nodded wordlessly, his hands already flipping through the pages. For some time, there was silence between you. He was thinking to himself. Even though he did for the prize, he knew he didn't have to help you this much. He never had to.. care so much. He was sure he could keep you satisfied with a hug or too.
When he asked you out, he was simple and brought you a white rose as a symbol of his so-called crush for you. He never thought he'd be so infatuated for you. Something he thought he'd never admit for a district girl of all people.
Coriolanus Snow had come to a terrifying conclusion, he didn't dislike you or hate you. He liked you. As in, you could give him a kiss and he'd beg for more.
He unconciouslly took one of his hands away from the book, and placed it on yours.
You kept looking at your book, but a small smile formed on your face.

Imagine Mattheo and Theodore fighting over you constantly.
P.2 // MATTHEO'S ENDING
P.1 // HERE
Tumblr media
“It’s true, isn’t it?” My head snaps around, Theo’s sad eyes glossy. He looks down, stepping closer and stops a foot from me. His eyes wandering back up, like he’s taking one last good look at me. Taking me in.
“It’s always been him.” He continues.
“It’s always been him.” Theo's words are buzzing around in my head now and then. Every time I try to study, eat, sleep.
A few days have passed and my head still keeps me awake most nights. During classes, I tried to focus on what the professors were saying- but failed miserably.
Pansy tried to get through to me, sitting beside me during every meal and while I studied in the library. Just like right now. My eyes are fixed on the upper level, where it happened. I have to think back to Matt's eyes. The way his face dropped. The face I haven't seen in a while and catch myself missing deeply.
He has ignored me ever since. Theo at least tried to get over the fact that I discovered what they were fighting about all the time. He even sent me a small smile during lunch today. But one that didn't fully reach his eyes.
"-We could go to Hogsmeade, get some fresh air?" I blink back into reality and sigh, closing my book. I shrug, sitting back in the chair and chew on my bottom lip.
"I'll take that as a yes." She stuffs our books into her bag and stands up, pulling me after her by my hand. Back in our dorm room, we got dressed and cosy up, today was a chilly October day. I buttoned up the last few buttons on my coat. We walk up the stairs, down the hall and out of the castle. All in peace. No annoying Draco in sight. No Blaise pulling a prank. No Matt hexing a first year.
"Listen, Y/N –" I look up and try not to roll my eyes, knowing what will come next. "– hey! Don't do that. I don't get a kick out of this either, okay?" I glance over and nod. She hooks her arm with mine as we walk on the path to Hogsmeade.
"I know, sorry. It's just – I'm so tired." I wipe my eye, probably smudging my mascara, but I don't care enough to fix it.
"Trust me, I know. You lay awake and toss and turn a lot lately." She sends me a small smile and I huff a laugh, nudging my shoulder with hers.
"Do you think it would help if I talked to Matt?" She asks and I frown, shaking my head.
"I don't want him to think I don't care enough to go up to him." She nods.
"I get it."
The rest of the way we talk about everything but him. But my mind is clouded with every moment we ever shared. I try to find out if I missed the hints. Missed a note he might have sent me. Overheard a sentence he breathed out. Or maybe misinterpreted an invitation to a party.
"Butterbeer?" I glance over at Pansy and nod, smiling as we enter the warm and welcoming Three Broomsticks. It's not too crowded. We walk a bit further to get a good seat in a booth. I sit by the window and take off my wool coat, rubbing my bare hands together. Pansy sits down across from me after ordering a few butterbeers for us.
"So, what do –"
"– Pansy! Y/N! –" Our heads go over to the voice, Enzo stumbles over, Theo and Draco trailing behind him. They were coming down from the second floor. Enzo falls into place beside Pansy and hugs her, making her squeal and I have to laugh at the view, they definitely have had a few butterbeers. Punched ones. Or maybe a different kind of substance. Draco rolls his eyes and greets us too. My eyes meet Theo's as he stuffs his hands into his pockets, glancing at the spot next to me. I patt the cushion and he looks up, raising a brow.
"Either you sit down now or I will." Draco says and frowns at him. Theo quickly slides in next to me and Draco pulls up a chair, sitting at the head of the table.
I look at my hands in my lap, playing with the ring on my pointy finger. I listen to Enzo's conversation with Pansy. Draco throws in a comment here and there. When Theo's knee bumps against mine, I look up at him. "Sorry." He mumbles, running his fingers through his hair. "How – how are you doing? Haven't seen you around a lot lately." He asks and I sigh, shrugging.
"Well, not too good." I admit and he nods, looking down at his hands, also playing with his fingers. "I'm sorry." He adds, looking back at me.
"For pressuring you. I feel like an idiot." He shakes his head to himself and smiles, waiting for my reaction.
"No! No – you don't have to apologize." I say and glance over to the door as it opens, holding my breath. A few more Hogwarts students come inside with red cheeks and thick clothing.
"He's not coming tonight." I meet Enzo's eyes and gulp. "Matt's been ignoring us all." He mumbles.
"It's all my fault."
"No, love – don't say that! He's a bloody, stupid git for acting that way." I raise my brows at Enzo's outburst and see Pansy covering her lips, holding back a grin. Draco chuckles and Theo joins in.
"He should have manned up way long ago and none of this would have happened."
Draco nods, rolling his eyes. "His constant blabbering about you irritated me to no end. No offence, Y/N." He talked about me? What did he say?
"Oh no." I glance at Theo and follow his line of sight. Matt. With – a girl? Is he for real? Who even is that?
"He's such a dimwit." Enzo mumbles, turning on the couch to get a better look at him. Matt and his friend haven't seen us yet, but I had enough. I feel like walking up to him right now and shaking him by his shoulders until he could think straight again.
I didn't notice my balled up fist until Theo takes my hand in his and I look up, still fuming. Matt and her sit not far from us, sharing a couch. His eyes meet mine.
"He's a fool, you know that." I huff at Theo's statement but nod. "Oh, believe me, I know." I mutter. Matt leans over to the girl, talking into her neck and making her giggle. I clench my jaw and force my eyes away. He's dead to me. Who in their right mind would do that?
I try to focus on the outdoors. Or my mug. Nothing really distracting me.
"Hey everyone." The utter audacity. Matt and his date stand next to a sitting Draco, looking at everyone. My eyes stay fixed on my empty glass. Everyone greets back. From the corner of my eye I see Matt laying his arm around her.
"Well, we don't want to intrude any further –" The girl says but Pansy slams down her mug, looking up at her.
"– you don't! This is quite entertaining, really. Why don't you take a seat? We can all make some room." I glare at her but she still smirks at Matt. A deathly smile. And we actually make room for them. Matt next to Theo and the girl next to Enzo. Well, this isn't awkward.
"I'd love to take a picture right now." Pansy adds and I roll my eyes, looking out the window again and biting my inner cheek. Draco and Matt start talking about Quidditch training as Enzo and Pansy fall back into conversation about Merlin knows what.
"What's your name." I can't hold back any longer and look at her. Only now taking her in. Blonde hair, blue eyes and a button nose. A blue tie around her neck. So Matt's into Ravenclaws now?
"Julie. And you? You're Y/N, right? Matt hasn't mentioned you yet but I guess rumor has it you're into him." I am now gripping my wand below the table tightly, thinking about all the ways I could curse her, what kind of potion I could pour into her morning tea or if chasing her into the forbidden forest would be enough.
"Oh, me? Quite passionately, actually. He is the man any woman would want, you want to know why?" I ask her, ready to burst. Theo sighs, muttering my name warningly, which I ignore. Julie frowns at me, looking uneasy, shifting in her seat.
"He's egoistical, he would never put you first. He plays with you – and your feelings – not caring about any consequences because, well, quite frankly they don't typically affect him. And the best part is, once he is ready to admit his feelings, he simply ignores you, having you toss and turn at night until you go mad. Sounds pretty good to me." I shrug and lean back with a tight smile, focusing on my glass again.
"Anyone else need another drink? I certainly do." I mumble at the end and stand up, taking my glass and climbing over the back of the couch. As I pass behind Julie, I send Pansy a look of disgust. She shakes her beaming head at me, looking like a proud mom.
At the bar I take a deep breath, slowly feeling my heart sinking and reality kicking in. That he is all that what I described him as. But also the one who made me feel special and loved. Cared about. I press my teeth together as I feel a wave of utter despair hit me. I gesture to my empty mug as a bartender sees me. I tap my finger on the wooden bar top, debating if walking back to the table would be a good idea.
"Ouch." I glance over to him as he sits down next to me, sliding the mug forward. He sighs, leaning his crossed arms onto the counter top.
"Fuck off, Riddle." I turn my head, not wanting to take any of him in. Not his messy chocolate brown curls. Neither the dark circles under his eyes.
"I know, I deserved that." I nod at his statement.
"Would you look at me?" I glare at him, placing a hand on my hip.
"And now? What do you want, Riddle." He rolls his eyes, turning in his seat to face me.
"Seriously?"
"Yes, seriously, I couldn't think of a single thing you would want from me right now." I get out and sound as harsh as I wanted to.
"Hey, everything okay over here?" The bartender asks, placing two filled mugs in front of us. We both look at him.
"Yes!" "Yes!"
We say in union, the guy raises his hands in defense and walks off. I turn back to Matt once more.
"I want to know why you're such a bitch to me." He says, his eyes boring into me as I let his words sink in. My mouth opening in shock.
"What?" I ask in disbelieve, daring him to repeat himself.
He stands up, stepping closer. I get up too and have to tilt my head but don't blink once as he towers over me. His fists by his sides and my hand hovering above my wand. Breath shallow.
"You heard me. "
*Slap.*
I pull my tingling hand back, still glaring up at him. His face is still turned to the side, one of his hands covering his cheek as he looks at me again.
"How dare you call me that, you ignorant –" I hit his chest.
"– thickheaded, –" Another hit.
"– senseless, –" Another one. He let me continue for a few more words until I was a crying mess and he held my hand that got weaker with every hit.
"You done yet, love?" He asks, a small smile on his lips. I frown, blinking a couple times to clear my vision.
"I don't think I will ever be." I mutter and he grins, looking down at the ground and slowly back up at me. The warm lights turning his eyes almost golden.
"I don't want you to." He mumbles and leans his head lower, my breath is quick but I can't even think of another word before his lips meet mine.
His arms grow around me like veins, pulling me closer to his chest and deepening the kiss. I tangle my hands into his hair, my stomach buzzing with an annoyingly sweet feeling. He smells so good.
As we part, I catch my breath, glancing at his slightly parted, puffy lips.
"You did that on purpose?" I ask, referring to the girl. He can't hold back a grin and nods.
"I'm sorry, I just had to know for sure if – you really wanted me the way I need you." I roll my eyes weakly, sighing.
"Boys."
"Your boy."

part two
Tumblr media
"haechan."
"..haechan?"
"lee donghyuck!"
donghyuck snapped out of his trance, turning his head toward his deskmate.
"huh?"
"class is over," jaemin said with a small snicker. he exchanged glances with jeno, who now stood beside his desk while clutching his bag over his shoulder.
"staring daggers at y/n again?" jeno teased.
donghyuck clicked his tongue in disgust as he looked back at y/n.
"he's top of the class again. he's a menace."
"pfft," jaemin scoffed, "he's a menace? he literally just studies and basically never talks. he's the opposite of a menace. he's actually very nice."
donghyuck only gave his friend a side eye in response.
"he's nice?" jeno asked, genuine.
"mhm! he lended me some money for lunch last week. he hasn't talked to me since, or asked me to repay him."
"he's a menace," donghyuck insisted. "next test, i'll get top of the class for sure. and he'll be stuck with second."
"that's what you said last time.." jeno muttered.
"hey!-"
"guys!" renjun's voice suddenly infiltrated their classroom. "you're like, the last ones left in here. c'mon."
"tsk." donghyuck gently flicked jeno's head as he stood up and gathered his books. jaemin laughed again, the three of them finally leaving with renjun.
y/n still sat at his desk while slowly packing up his bag, actually the last student left. a small smile tugged at his lips as he thought about what he'd overheard.
"haechan is very loud for such a gentle looking person," he mumbled, before snickering.
"n/n!"
y/n looked up at the sound of his nickname. mark now stood in the doorway of his classroom, waiting for him.
"can i walk you home?" mark asked happily.
"you always walk me home."
mark smiled and nodded, "i know. but i still like asking."
y/n rolled his eyes. as his neighbor and best friend, mark was always very attentive to y/n. especially since all y/n ever did was sleep, eat, and study. mark always wished he'd be more social - he thought it'd do him some good to stop worrying about his grades so much. but y/n's parents would definitely disagree.
after walking for a while, the pair finally made it to their neighborhood. y/n seemed way too in his head today, and it made mark worry even more.
"are you coming to the dance showcase tonight? jisung and i have been practicing for weeks."
y/n sighed and shook his head.
"can't. i'm tutoring tonight. i'm sorry."
mark frowned at first, but quickly perked up.
"that's okay! i'll get someone to video it for you," he assured. "what about tomorrow? you can hang out since it's saturday right?"
"sure, that's fine. wanna see a movie or something?"
mark nodded eagerly, "love to!! we can go in the evening and you can stay the night at my place if you want."
y/n nodded and gave him a small smile.
"sounds good. good luck with your dance tonight, let me know how it goes."
"mm! see you tomorrow!" mark replied.

donghyuck walked into the local public library, a small prance in his step. he always enjoyed tutoring other students, as odd as that may sound.
he found a small table and began setting out his study materials while waiting for his tutee. the smile that had been resting on his face, however, did not last long. after looking up, he found that y/n was sitting at another table not far from his. he scowled under his breath.
"our teacher got the top students to tutor others, but we were supposed to find different places. tsk." he quickly stood from his chair and trudged over to y/n.
"..." donghyuck waited for y/n to look up from his book, but the male was stubborn. or maybe he just didn't care enough to spare donghyuck a glance.
"if you're going to speak, then speak. if not.." y/n spoke while making a shoo gesture with his hand. donghyuck's brows furrowed.
"why are you here?" he asked, not caring about the rude tone of his voice.
y/n finally looked up from his book. donghyuck was pretty, y/n would give him that, but that was about it.
"i'm tutoring chenle. and what about you? are you stalking me?"
donghyuck felt a surge of panic run through his body. "wha- no?! i'm supposed to be tutoring here. you go somewhere else!"
y/n simply gave the other a blank stare. "sure," he answered sarcastically. "i'll go somewhere else, stand up chenle, and he'll fail our next test. then it'll be your fault. you really wanna be the reason chenle fails? i thought you were better than that, lee donghyuck."
"you-.." donghyuck clenched his jaw.
"y/n..?" chenle's voice broke between the two. he gave a small, awkward bow as donghyuck moved aside.
"chenle! ready to get started?"
chenle nodded while looking nervously at donghyuck. he didn't like seeing him aggravated, nor did he wanna get in the middle of something between him and y/n.
"i can give you guys a minute if-"
"no," donghyuck stopped him, "we're done."
y/n sent donghyuck an insincere smile before watching him go back to his table to continue waiting for his own tutee.
their tutoring sessions lasted about two hours, and the whole time, donghyuck would steal disgusted glances at his rival. he kept wondering how jaemin could say he's actually nice.
"maybe he's not nice to you cause you always give him such a hard time," jaemin had once argued. donghyuck scoffed. no, that couldn't be it. y/n had to be the problem.
donghyuck looked up from the paper he was supposed to be reviewing. y/n had a kind smile on his face as he moved his pencil from question to question, explaining the answers to chenle.
"yeah, he's definitely the problem," he whispered in annoyance.
"huh?"
donghyuck perked up, remembering the pupil beside him.
"mm? oh, nothing! let's go over these."
his student nodded as donghyuck slid the worksheet over to him. donghyuck's eyes naturally drifted to y/n one more time before taking a big breath and beginning to review the paper.

rain.
it just had to be raining when y/n stepped out of the library to start his way home. he sighed and stopped under the last awning of the building.
"fucking great," he muttered.
taking his phone out, he scrolled down to his mother's contact which he had at first planned to call. but then, he thought, his parents were the last people he wanted to see or be driven home by. so with that, he began walking.
usually, walking home was no problem for y/n. it was around a twenty minute walk to his neighborhood from both school and the library, as the two were only a couple blocks away from each other. his walks gave him time to listen to music and enjoy the weather, or just to be on his phone without the prying eyes of his parents.
but today, y/n could already feel the rain starting to soak through his clothes. the water dripped down from his hair and onto his face, making him let out another sigh.
"maybe i'll get sick this weekend and have an excuse not to study," he hoped quietly. his small smile fell after thinking about it for a minute. "if i get sick, they'll blame me for walking in the rain, though."
crossing his arms, he walked faster and lowered his head. while watching his shoes slap the puddles on the ground, his mind kept wandering. he felt incredibly sad. he wished his parents could just be his parents, instead of borderline dictators. education didn't mean anything to him, and yet he tried so hard to be top of his class just to earn some kind of validation from them.
before he knew it, he was crying. not a heavy sob, just quiet tears that blended with the rain while the color of his eyes faded into a tint of red.
suddenly, the rain stopped hitting him. his brows furrowed. the drops were still hitting the ground around him, but he couldn't feel them.
"idiot. you'll get sick if you keep walking in this weather," donghyuck scolded. y/n looked up to see the male holding a black umbrella over themselves. as much as he hated donghyuck, he was freezing, so he took the offer and mumbled a quiet, "thank you."
donghyuck had never been this close to his rival. their shoulders were touching, and he thought he should've hated it, but instead there was a small, exciting spark running up his spine.
"why are you walking?" donghyuck asked. when y/n didn't answer, he leaned over to see the other better under their umbrella. his face dropped with the realization that y/n was crying.
"ah.." he stood back up straight, unsure of what to say now. he hated that he felt bad for someone he was supposed to despise. but y/n was, after all, just another person.
"are you okay?"
y/n scoffed as he wiped his tears. "if i said yes, i'd be lying."
donghyuck nodded and looked around a bit awkwardly. he never thought himself good at comforting people, but he'd definitely try.
"wanna talk about it?"
y/n suddenly stopped walking. he could feel the rain hit him again when donghyuck kept walking, taking the umbrella with him. he turned in surprise before hurrying back to y/n to shield him from the water.
"why are you being nice to me all of a sudden?" y/n asked.
donghyuck met his eyes, quiet. y/n's eyes looked tired and strained from his tears, but beautiful despite this. he almost felt entranced from his gaze.
"i dunno.." donghyuck mumbled, "you're just a person, right? regardless of whether i hate you or not. and i don't mind listening if you wanna talk."
y/n's lips thinned into a line as he thought about it. he looked down at his soaked shoes.
"i don't wanna go home," he muttered out.
donghyuck frowned. something was definitely wrong, but he'd feel wrong if he pried into y/n's home life.
an idea struck him as they arrived at a sheltered bus stop. he pulled y/n's arm and finally lowered the umbrella to sit him down on the dry bench. donghyuck could see that the male was beginning to shiver, his jacket turned to a darker drenched color.
"take that off," he said while tugging at the wet fabric of y/n's sleeve.
"what?"
"take it off. you'll definitely get sick if you keep that on. take mine," donghyuck said while holding his now discarded jacket out to his rival.
y/n's brows furrowed in concern. "but you won't have anything to wear.."
donghyuck shrugged, "i'm dry. and i like the cold. really, please take it."
y/n nodded and slowly took his jacket off. it felt gross to handle such a wet piece of clothing around his body, but the dry and heavy fabric of donghyuck's jacket quickly made up for it. he sat back and snuggled into it with a content smile.
"thank you."
donghyuck nodded and set the other jacket aside. he could tell y/n was trying to keep his smile at bay, but he decided not to pester him about it. what mattered was that he was safe and dry now.
"..why don't you want to go home?" he finally asked. y/n's smile faltered.
"my parents are home."
donghyuck didn't really understand, but he didn't plan on being any more nosy. he looked around and spotted a restaurant behind the bus stop, deciding to focus on that.
"have you eaten?"
y/n looked at him in slight confusion. "what?"
"have you had dinner yet? we can go eat together before you have to go home."
"where?" y/n realized right after he asked that it didn't really matter where. any place would be better than a house with his parents.
"maybe that place?" donghyuck answered.
y/n turned to see the restaurant donghyuck was pointing at. he'd actually been there a few times with mark, so he quickly nodded.
"yes please."

starting high school was hard, especially as someone who is perceived as quiet. but it was easier for y/n knowing that she had her childhood best friend, han yujin, by her side.
they had been friends since diapers basically, their families being close friends for years. every big life event, they went through it together. all the times y/n cried, he was there for her even if he never truly knew how to comfort her. he was always the bestest friend someone could ask for.
so why was there this envious feeling that pitted in y/n's stomach when he started getting caught up in school events and gaining more friends than her when they entered highschool?
she should be happy that he's fitting in, he deserved all the attention he got. han yujin was one of the most liked students in the grade. with his popularity, soccer and dance skills, and — of course his good looks ; who wouldn't want to be his friend?
but that envious feeling kept on coming back whenever he had to skip out on eating lunch with her because "the soccer team is going out to eat" or whenever he told her to go walk home alone since "his friends wanted to hang out".
she was happy for him, but the idea of him slowly slipping away from her grasp made her heart ache. because the truth was, y/n had a crush on yujin. she had been having those feelings for a while now, maybe before she even realized it.
he was always there to cheer her up and gradually became one of the only things she enjoyed about going to school. whenever he took her to buy snacks, when they played games together, when they went to the park together, and his smile. especially his smile.
y/n sat down in the library since she hadn't fully adjusted to being in the cafeteria. sure, she had made some friends — but she wouldn't call them her close friends. even so, she hated loud noises and the cafeteria was filled with them.
just about now, she expected that yujin would enter the room to tell her about any plans his soccer team had made up to get him off campus for the period which left her all by herself.
as she took a bite out of her triangle gimbap, looking up from her notebook — there he was. the dark-brown haired boy who had been able to swoon her without even knowing it, walking through the doors in a black t-shirt since he most likely just got out of gym.
"y/n!" yujin called out, waving his hand in the air as he jogged over to her, "sorry i'm late, the showers kept being hogged. i didn't want to stink up the library, y'know."
"uhm, i think i know?" y/n questioned her answer, she knew absolutely nothing about sports. "wait, so you're actually going to eat lunch with me today? surprised you don't have anything going on, you've been so popular recently."
"what can i say? i'm quite the catch," yujin shrugged his shoulders with such a smug look on his face, "and i cleared everything! i feel like i haven't seen you in forever, i missed you."
he missed her. han yujin missed her. why was she freaking out on the inside? it's not like they haven't had a conversation before. but it felt different, like his tone had changed from the last time they had spoken. "cool," was all y/n could mutter as she tried to cover her rosy-tinted cheeks with her lunch.
but just as y/n was lost in her own world, yujin had gotten a message on his phone. here it goes. "oh my gosh... y/n, i—" he attempted to speak up before y/n shut him down, already knowing what he was going to say.
"go, it's okay," y/n assured even though her heart was breaking little by little. he had friends, other friends than her. it's not like he could spend all his time with her, it was ridiculous. but why was there this feeling inside her that wished he did?
"i'm so sorry, gyuvin hyung broke his leg and now we have to go over the plays again before the game," yujin explained, getting up while stuffing his phone into his pocket, "you'll be at the game on saturday, right?"
"well, i have nothing else to do," y/n slightly smiled, attempting to relax her back from all the tension she felt, "i'll be there for sure."
"great, i'll see you later!" yujin waved at her as he started walking away before he slowly disappeared into the hallways.
y/n was more used to it now, and she would probably have to accept it at one point. yujin was moving on with his life, experiencing new things. high school is meant for new experiences and it seemed like yujin was going through many things.
what she didn't expect to see? him and one of the cheerleaders hitting it off after he scored the winning goal during the soccer game. oh, how she wanted to shout his name after seeing the way he rebounded the ball and got the last goal ; but then she saw him with her.
she never really tried to learn the names of the people surrounding her, another flaw y/n had. all y/n knew was that yujin was hugging her and that she was jealous? envious? oh, same thing.
and from that day on, y/n would attempt to distance herself from yujin as much as she could. it wasn't like he would notice right? he had all his soccer friends and that girl he hugged. can she give up on the girl already?
it's not like yujin was her property, he was his own person. maybe in a way, to let him flourish ; she had to find her own path without him. maybe, this was just her way of masking her feelings for him in a way where she wouldn't have to get hurt.
one thing y/n didn't think about was how yujin would react to this. all this time, she was in her own world overthinking every single little thing. her bestfriend, who knows her and could read her like a book, was upset to say the least.
he thought she was acting weird at first, but didn't think anything of it until it constantly kept happening. all she would do is greet him and suddenly walk off without saying anything else. it was unlike y/n, she would always be the brightest girl whenever he was around.
it was one of the things he liked most about her, her smile. the way her eyes became cresents like the moon whenever she smiled, her lips curving up and the way her nose scrunched up in the most beautiful way.
maybe there were many things he liked about her. yujin could probably go on a tangent about everything he liked about y/n, the reason he smiled so brightly. it was her. so there was no way it was all in his head that they could've possibly had a spark there, right?
so when yujin found the girl asleep in one of the classrooms after failing to study for her biology exam ; he knew what he had to do.
oh how yujin slowly regretted his decision. he didn't want to wake her up, seeing how peaceful and pretty she was when she slept even if she was drooling all over her textbook.
but he knew if he didn't do it now, he would probably be even more distanced from you and he did not want that one bit. so he did what he dreaded doing and woke up y/n from her nap.
"y/n... psst— wake up," he whispered softly, poking her shoulder in an attempt to wake her up but nothing, "there's free food in the cafeteria!"
"huh? free food?" y/n suddenly jolted awake, looking around the room in a daze before her eyes landed back on yujin, "oh... it was a lie, wasn't it?"
"yeah, i knew that would wake you up though," yujin let out a laugh, sitting down in the chair next to y/n, "i'll get you something after school, i just need to talk to you for a bit."
god, there was that smile again. the smile that could make all the problems in the world disappear. why did he have to be the one with it?
"yeah uh— what did you want to talk about?" y/n snapped out of her thoughts, shaking her head slightly before fixing up her hair, "is it important?"
"you could say that..." yujin fiddled with his fingers for a moment, hesitating for a moment, "i just.. i feel like we haven't talked in a while, is everything okay with you?"
"yeah... everything is fine," y/n nodded her head in assurance. no everything was not fine. but she couldn't say anything about him hugging a girl, that would just be crazy. "i've just been a little busy, that's all."
"are you sure?" yujin questioned once again, "i feel like i barely see you now, i missed you and talking to you.." gosh, there it was again. he always knew the words to say.
"yeah, i'm sure... everything is fine," y/n repeated once more, giving yujin a smile that made him feel fuzzy on the inside. she watched his shoulders suddenly become tense before speaking up, "is there something else you wanted to talk to me about?"
"gosh, am i really going to do this now..." yujin looked to the side, taking a deep breath before searching for something in his pockets. "can you close your eyes for me?"
y/n looked at him confused before closing her eyes, feeling yujin's touch on her hand as he pulled it out and opened it up. right after, he placed something on her palm. "alright, you can open your eyes now."
this wasn't real right? this moment was just a figment of y/n's imagination. because why was yujin's nametag in her hand at this moment? she truely thought she was hallucinating, staring at the nametag with 한유진 embroidered on it.
"when we went to get our uniforms fitted, i had an extra nametag made.." yujin spoke in a shy tone, "and i just decided to... give it to you."
"so what does this mean?" y/n asked, wanting clarification for the sudden gift, "do you...?"
"oh so you're going to make me say it? the nametag was supposed to say it for me," yujin joked, hearing y/n's laugh that he loved so much, "fine, y/n... i like you, like a lot."
"that's better, i guess i like you too," y/n grinned, glancing at the sour look on yujin's face when she spoke, "i'm kidding! i like you a lot... and your smile too."
"truth is.. i thought you had a thing for that cheerleader you hugged on saturday," y/n admitted after all the time she spent hiding away, feeling a sense of relief after letting it out. "i was... jealous, okay? that's why i haven't talked to you."
"wow! i knew there was something behind it!" yujin pointed a finger at y/n like a little kid with his mouth gaping, "that's so silly... she's a senior, why would i date someone that much older than me. if anything, she gave me dating advice."
"oh.. yeah well— you've been so busy recently and i don't know what to think anymore!" y/n got off her chest, letting out a sigh after the long sentence she spoke without breathing.
"oh, now you wanna say all of these things? see, i can read you like a book, i knew it!" yujin clapped his hands at his knowledge of his best friend, laughing while y/n looked away out of embarrassment.
as y/n was looking away, she heard yujin's soft laughs slowly fade away before feeling him take a hold of her hand which made her look his way. gosh, he was looking at her with that cheekily smile again and those shining eyes.
"no matter what, i'll be here for you," yujin spoke sincerely, intertwining their hands together, "even if i can't spend time with you, i'm always here for anything you need. i'll drop anything for you."
"well..." y/n opened her mouth to speak but no words came out, leaving her with only one choice. she looked at her uniform, taking off her nametag from its spot and placing it onto yujin's other hand that wasn't holding her hand. "you better get me another one before i get scolded."
and that was it. or maybe, it was just the beginning? they're young, who knows where their relationship could go from there. kind of cute if you think about it, two students intertwined together. she fell for a smile that she gave.

Hiii love ur account! Idk if I can request cause it says it’s closed, so sorry if I’m wrong!
Can I please request a yandere who looks very dominant; tall and buff with muscles. Literally everyone is scared of him because of how frightening he looks. Everyone other than Reader: Yandere is actually scared of reader and is very submissive around them. He actively seeks Reader’s approval and will do anything for her. Kind of like a guard dog? He’s really just a big puppy who craves Readers affection. Thank youuuu
Awww I love this idea!! Let's name him... Austyn, idk it just fits lol. I couldn't think of what age to make him, so I said screw it and put yall in high-school because that's the easiest
Also I know you requested this months ago, and everyone else requested their things months ago, guys I've been so tired recently, I'm so sorry I haven't been able to write what you've been wanting me to. I'm so sorry if you're still waiting on your request, and I'm hoping I'll get more chances to write soon. Thank you for your patience :)
Warnings: Yandere (obv), clingy and obsessive behavior, a little more than just mentions of murder, slight mentions of rape (not to reader or anything i just noticed it was brought up so I figured I'd put it in just incase), reader gets forcefully drugged, kidnapping
This fic is not meant to romanticize unhealthy and toxic relationships, it's hot af in fanfictions but is never ok irl

A huge man towers over you, his shadow engulfing your entire figure, his huge muscles and rough exterior making him appear as if he could kill. He stares down at your petite and fragile body in an intimidating manner as you jolt up in a sitting position. Clutching the desk beneath your upper body, you recognize him almost immediately.
"Where am I?! What do you want?!" You scream dramatically, almost tipping backwards in your chair.
"You fell asleep in class." His eyes narrow. "I had to poke you a bunch so you would wake up. The bell just rang, its lunch time." Your whole face burns a cherry color.
"Um- thanks..." Your eyes wander anywhere but his face. The corners of his mouth ever so slighty elevate as he leans on your desk.
"Would you like to eat lunch together?" He tilts his head slightly in an almost cute way. Your brows furrow in confusion, but nod regardless out of pure fear. He could probably kill you in one hit. No, simply him blowing on you would be enough to knock you 8 miles. You pack your school supplies and walk to your locker, Austyn almost breathing down your back as he watches you grab your stuff.
Entering the cafeteria, you both take a seat in one of the only spots left in the overcrowded area, its a bit shocking when kids start scooting away from you both, even the kids across from you want nothing to do with your new 'friend'. Or thats at least what you hope he wants with you...
Your prayers were answered, but in the worst way possible. It's almost physically painful watching Austyn attempt to make conversation with you. Stuttering over every second word, obviously embarrassed and anxious, fumbling with his hands. It was... cute. You'd never thought he would be like this while talking to him, you've seen him be rude and cold to everyone, maybe he's just shy and comes off as rude? Guess you'll find out. You, having not as many friends as you'd like to have, appreciate the attention from him regardless. But he desperately needed help with this whole social thing, so you give him a hand.
"If you're not busy, maybe you could help me with homework after we finish eating?" You smile, hoping he's not busy before you die of embarrassment. Thankfully, he nods, and the two of you finish your meal in silence.
You were hoping he'd be a little more outgoing and not as awkward in the library, but boy were you wrong. More stuttering, more avoidance of eye contact, more hand fidgeting. He wasnt even helping, just sitting there and watching you, almost too intently. You almost scream of joy when your best and only friend, Abby, joins you.
"Hi!" She beams excitedly, taking a seat next to you, "need help?"
"You're my savior!" You giggle, hugging her. Austyns aura immediately chances from a shy puppy to one that could kill. He glares daggers into Abby as she speaks a bit too friendly to you, gets a little too close to you, helps you instead of him. He knows he needs to up his game, but your stupid friend might ruin his chances.
Abby was your friend since elementary school, you've never been great at giving anyone a smile, but she always brings out your biggest one. She's helped you through so much, you owe her your life!
The rest of lunch Austyn stays silent and in the background, you assume he's shy... God, you hope that he was not hurt. You continued the rest of your classes like normal, overjoyed when the day comes to an end.
You and Abby walk home together, teasing and laughing with eachother. Austyn trails behind you both, not talking too much. Neither of you know where Austyn lives, and forget to ask. They drop you off at your house, and Abby lives just across the street so you guess Austyn walks her home. The long between your houses and the school is 30 minutes. You could take the bus, and you do in the mornings, but the walk is too beautiful to miss, so fun laughing with your best friend through the sunset in the city, too fun running through the long field of grass, racing down the streets, seeing who can reach your house the fastest, rubbing it in your face as you both either collapse on your porch or Abby goes home. Sometimes, you dance outside together, sharing secrets, giggling over whatever crush the other one has... Abbys friends with almost everyone, but the two of you are inseparable. Tonight though, you only talked with Abby, not wanting to make Austyn feel left out, and not wanting to seem awkward infront of your new friend. You run inside, jumping into your bed, thinking Austyn is just a little cute. Maybe a tiny crush? You don't think on it too much, as you pass out.
The next day, Austyn starts hanging out with you and Abby, which neither of you mind. He's a bit less shy and a bit more friendly. He's in your homeroom, science, and math class, so you sat next to him in all of those. You guys talked and exchanged answers from time to time, overall getting along very well. You guys hang out at lunch, and sure, you give a slight bit more attention to Abby, but thats it, and overall, the three of you get along like three peas in a pod. The next four days go similarly, your crush for him grows.
One lunch time the three of you meet up, eat, and head to the library. You weren't sure what was wrong, but Austyn didn't seem to be a huge fan of Abby, only hanging out and attempting to make conversation with you, almost cutting Abby out. You, of course, refuse to let that happen, and keep adding your friend the the conversation. You and Abby exchange a confused look, Austyn normally loves you and Abby.
After school the same day, you run over to Abbys locker, waiting for her to grab her stuff. You wait for 5 minutes... 10 minutes... 20 minutes... she doesn't show up. Thinking it's a bit strange, you still wait, assuming she was held back in class or something, as the teachers often like to praise her work or offer her opportunities for an upcoming math competition or something. She appears, after awhile, running towards you. The two of you begin to walk home together. When you ask her what she was doing, she awkwardly dodges the question. You leave her alone about it.
The next day when you arrive at school, Abby still didn't show up. How strange, you think to yourself. Abby hasn't missed a single day this year, not even when she was sick, you have no clue how she does it. Straight As, no days missed, friends with everyone she talks to, yet she's not here. You couldn't help but feel a pit in your stomach, not wanting to assume the worst. You would've thought she'd at least text you right? The more you thought about it the worse it got. What if she was raped by a creepy teacher?? What if she was kidnapped?! Maybe she got a deadly sickness and has three days to live! There's so many possibilities you weren't sure, what if-
"Hey!" Your new 'friend' from yesterday appears before you, looking like he's accomplished something great.
"Hi...?" You look up at him, calming yourself immediately. You knew you shouldn't overthink this, she probably just missed her bus or something. Austyn obviously picks up on your torn face as he asks,
"Hey, are you ok? You look offput..." he does his signature, puppy-like head tilt. you quickly nod your head, laughing to yourself silently of the stupidity of your overdramatic thoughts. You weren't normally so anxious, this over worried about your friend not being at school immediately, but for some reason, your gut was screaming at you that something bad happened. And then... The overwhelming feeling to run hits you. Looking at Austyns smile fills you with a strange sense of dread. White noise echos in your ears.
"Woah, woah, calm down!" He panics, "Hey what happened? You look like you've seen a ghost!" Hes acting way too friendly today... you shake your head.
"I-I don't know what's wrong with me today? I guess it's just a weird day....?" Austyn rushes to wipe some tears you didn't notice were were falling from your eyes.
"Hey, you don't have to talk about it...." he sighs "I don't know what happened, but stop worrying."
Abby was murdered.
You don't know how you know, last night was such a haze... what happened...? Pictures of her dead body flash in your mind, the killer standing there with a knife and sadistic smile. You swear it was a dream... you remember beginning your walk home, but can't remember anything passed the midway point, not even what you did last night, did you even eat dinner? You didn't wear pajamas last night, you assumed you were just tired when you woke up. But did you really see Abbys murder or is this just the most dramatic you've ever been on a Wensday morning?
You continued your day like normal, the sinking feeling never leaving you. Austyn was acting strange, outgoing and sweet to you. And yet his face was making you want to throw up for some reason... to go as far as to flee the country. Well, maybe not that far, but you certainly didn't want him near you for some reason.
The end of the days comes, and your dumbass told Austyn he could walk you home. It was probably fine, you'd go to sleep tonight and tomorrow everything would be normal, Abby would be at school and Austyn wouldn't be as creepy to you. You're sure of it.
You wait for him near the entrance of the school, and of course, when he comes out, he's almost stumbling over his own feet to run towards you.
"Hey!" He gives a huge innocent smile as he begins walking with you, clutching the arms of his backpack in a shy manner. You smile up at him, not sure if it's a real smile or not. No words are exchanged as you both watch little cracks of the sunset through all the large buildings of the city. It wasn't cold, but it definitely wasn't hot, the perfect night for a first kiss. Stars beginning to appear as you make your way out of downtown, you've only been walking for 15 minutes... almost the midway point... you have a much better view of the now gone sun, there's still a bit of red. There's no one around, it's a gorgeous night, you're walking home with a guy... everything should be perfect, it should be romantic. You recognize this, Deja vu, but different.... memories from what you think to be the dream, or a cruel reality you weren't sure yet start to appear. Abbys lifeless body in the long grass, the moonlight to the killers back, you know who it was, but you can't remember.... all these events took place just upahead and-
It wasn't a dream.
Blood stains lay in the grass and you point to Austyn, not in control of your body or the words that spill from your mouth, or the tears that spill from your mouth, or the puke that's about to spill from your mouth.
"You did this... didn't you...?"
Austyns eyes darken, "and you remember. I knew the sedatives wouldn't work as well as I wanted them to..." he sighs "I did this for you, don't you see?! I killed her for you. I've loved you for so long and you've never even looked at me. So I stalked you, learned about you, you're so cute yknow! You never laughed the same way around me as you did with Abby, ramble to me as you did with her.... So now our problem is gone, and we can be the cutest couple!" He spits delusionally. You back away from him, the moon to his back, the same spot as last night. He grabs your wrist harshly, overpowering you easily.
"You can't run darling, now let's go to my house!" He beams, "I'll even bring you home the head of someone you don't like!" You thrash around, screaming for help, but Austyn just giggles and hugs you to him, holding one hand around your arms and torso and the other over your mouth. "Shhhhh, it'll be ok!" He puts a chloroform filled cloth to your mouth, and everything goes dark.

Jealous of a jock
Tumblr media
pairing: Ted Logan x reader
summary : You've been friends with Ted and Bill for years now, being an inseparable trio. But Ethan, a jock from your class, desperately needs your help to study for an upcoming History exam. Ted doesn't really like this new friendship and tries his best to make you understand how he feels about it.
Warnings : obv jealousy and a kinda possessive Ted but other than that, it's pretty light! just like every fanfic writer ever, English isn't my first language so keep that in mind while reading!

I took a deep breath as I walked into the library, trying to calm my nerves. Today was another tutoring session with Ethan, one of the jock's from school. I had been helping him with his history homework for the past few weeks, and despite our very different social circles, we had become quite good friends. We started talking when our History teacher put us together for an oral presentation about the Roman Empire, about how it was founded. When we started working on it, Ethan immediately noticed how much of an History nerd I am, which at first, I was kind of scared of, since he's a stereotypical jock that could make fun of me for knowing so much about "old dudes in dresses".
But, to my suprise, he was more impressed than anything and quite friendly. We clicked the moment I noticed how much he tried to help, even if he didn't understand anything. Our presentation was a success; 18/20, that's when he asked to be his tutor. My friendship with Ethan became quite good, I grew more and more attached to him, which seemed to be causing some problems with Ted, problems that I didn't get why even started.
He just grew more distant and cold towards me, while Bill stayed the same so it really is personal. So his new attitude explains why, right now, it's so awkward between us. I told him I couldn't eat with him and Bill because I promised to help Ethan during lunch, which ended in Ted insisting to, at least, make the walk to the library with me. Of course I said yes, I missed hanging out with him too, but maybe I would have said no if I knew how silent he would be....
As Ted and I continued walking down the stairs, I noticed him staring at me with a look of concern so, I took this opportunity to break the uncomfortable silence. "What's wrong, Ted?" I asked, trying to figure out what was going on. "You've been quiet all the way. Which, coming from you, is really concerning."
"Y/N, I don't like you hanging out with Ethan all the time." Ted blurred out, looking down.
"What? Why not?" I asked, surprised by his sudden change in behavior. Where is this coming from?
"He's a jock, dude."
"Oh." I said, understanding. "Ted, you really don't have to worry about this, he's actually really nice ! Nicer than I would've thought too." I smiled at Ted, to no avail; he still refused to look back at me.
"You're supposed to be hanging out with us, not him...We're your friends," He mumbled, his tone turning accusatory.
"I know you guys are my friends, Ethan just needs my help. He's failing History class and I'm the only one who can help him." I explained, hoping that he would understand. "Also, I'm allowed to have other friends. You're not the only guys I can help with History, you know."
"You're spending all your time with him! We don't get to hang out anymore !" Ted protested. "We also need your help dude for, like, History stuff..." He rubbed the back of his neck, walking farther away from me.
"I'm sorry, Ted, but I have to help him. I promise I'll make time for us too !" I assured him, hoping to ease his worries but by the look on his face, none of what I was saying was comforting him.
"Fine..." Ted sighed, his frustration evident. "Just make sure you don't forget about us. We miss hanging out with you dudette."
"I won't forget about you, Ted. You're both my best friends !" I said, giving him a reassuring smile while gently rubbing his arm up and down. "You're also too loud to forget."
He laughs, making my cheek redden slightly. Finally, here's the Ted I know ! He stops suddenly once we arrive in front of the library.
I look up at him with a shy smile. "I should go." I say, quieter than intended.
He simply waves at me before turning around, walking away, way too quickly. As I watch him go, I feel something tug at my heart, some sort of longing. I sigh, going in, ready to help Ethan.
As the days went by, I noticed that Ted was becoming more and more distant. He would barely talk to me and when he did, it was always about how much he missed hanging out with me. I tried to reassure him that I still cared about him and Bill, but it didn't seem to make a difference, no matter what I said. A few days ago, he commented about how I lied when I said I would make time for them. I didn't respond, not knowing what to say to that. He's usually so carefree, I wasn't expecting such an attitude from him, it took me by surprise. We haven't talked since...As I was walking to my next class, Ethan caught up to me in the hallway, pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Hey, Y/N, you free tonight? I need some help with my homework !" he asked, flashing me a smile.
"Sure, Ethan. I'll meet you in the library after school." I replied, feeling a twinge of guilt for not spending more time with Ted and Bill, by accepting his offer without thinking twice. Maybe I was getting a little too attached to Ethan.
"Wait, do you have your Spanish class today?" He asked, smirking. "Because my deutsch teacher isn't here."
"Oh no, she's absent too!" We laugh at that realisation. "Well, I guess we can study right now then."
He comes next to me, taking my bag from my shoulders. "Hey !" I gasp, surprised. "You have to stop doing that, I already told you I can carry my bag myself."
"And I told you I can also carry your bag Y/N !" He winks at me, making me roll my eyes. "You're helping me for free so this is my way of paying you." He replies, walking shoulder to shoulder with me.
"What a gentleman..."
I took a deep breath to calm myself as I walked into the library with Ethan, still laughing from what he said. Today was another day I spent doing a tutoring session with Ethan, instead of hanging out with Bill and Ted.
I felt a heavy gaze on me as soon as we entered so, I looked around, until I saw Ted sitting at a table with Bill, both of them staring at me. Bill smiled when I noticed them while Ted just hung his head low. I turn around to Ethan, asking him to take a table for us. After he left, I took another deep breath, preparing myself for whatever mood Ted was in. "Hey guys," I said, walking over to their table. "What's up?"
"Nothing much dude !" Bill said, grinning. "Just waiting for you to show up, we were gonna go grab some pizza's and slushies !"
Ted didn't say anything, just focusing on his fidgety fingers. I frowned, feeling a pang of guilt for how he felt. "I'm sorry, guys. I can't today. I have a tutoring session with Ethan, his test is next week. He barely remembers when the Cold War was so we have a lot of work to do !"
Ted's head snapped up at the mention of Ethan. "Again ? You're always hanging out with him. Don't you have any time for us dude?"
I felt my face flush, taken aback by his tone. There it was again... "I'm sorry, Ted. I'm just trying to help him out. It's not like we're doing anything wrong." I clutched my arm, trying to stay calm. "We talked about this already; I'm helping him, he needs my help."
"Maybe he's using you for your, like, brain dude." He looked back down. "You don't know..."
I bristled, feeling defensive. "He's a nice guy, Ted. And I can be friends with whoever I want." I crossed my arms. "Why are you so angry about this ? You're usually so chill about everything, why is this specific thing getting to you so much ?"
"Yeah dude, what's with the attitude?" Joined Bill, just as confused as me. "Be nicer to the babe."
Ted's jaw clenched as he stood up abruptly. "Fine. Do what you want. Just don't expect me to sit around waiting for you all the time." He paused, looking at both of us with wide eyes. "I'm hungry anyways."
He stormed out of the library, leaving Bill and me staring at him in shock.
"What the hell was that about?" Bill muttered, looking up at me.
I shook my head, feeling just as confused as him.
"I don't know. He's just been acting weird lately." I sigh, rubbing my hand down my face. "Since I started to help Ethan he's like that... I don't understand why tho."
"Maybe he's jealous," Bill suggested, raising an eyebrow.
I scoffed. "Jealous? Of what?"
"Of Ethan," Bill responded, shrugging. "You guys have been spending a lot of time together. Maybe Ted feels left out, I don't know." Bill smiled knowingly at me. "I mean, you did walk in here laughing while he was carrying your bag, dude."
"I, what ?" I think about it for a moment, still shaking my head. "Why would he mind about that ? Ted never carried my bag before..."
I rolled my eyes, but deep down, I knew that Bill was right. Ted had always been a little possessive of me, I just had never thought it was anything serious. We just always had each other so, I simply thought he was afraid I would leave for the more popular kids, maybe it's deeper than that... I look at Bill for an instant, noticing his open notebook.
"Hey, you want to study with me and Ethan ?" I asked, smiling. "I could help you with the Charlemagne chapter."
Bill face immediately lightened up. "It would be most excellent dudette !"
The next week, I had another tutoring lesson scheduled with Ethan, as always. He had his test in two days so this was THE moment to study. It's been days since I saw Ted, I had glimpse of him sometimes in the hallways, he would walk past me after quickly glancing my way. I tried to not overthink it but it was hard, I was missing him an awful lot... Not seeing it everyday of every minute just reminded me how much I like him, how bad my crush on him is.
As I walked into the library to join Ethan who sat at our usual table, I saw Ted sitting alone, looking dejected as always. With my heart starting to pound, I walked up to him, hating how our last conversation ended. The moment I approached his table, he looked up before quickly adverting his eyes, sitting up straight.
"Hey, Ted, what are you doing here?" I asked, kind of surprised to see him here of all places. He usually never hangs out in the library expect if we have to study, he seems to be here quite a lot lately.
"I thought I'd surprise you and come help you tutor Ethan..." Ted said, a hint of bitterness in his voice. "Bill told him you helped him after, you know."
"Really? That's great, Ted!" I said, genuinely happy to see him and especially hear him say that. "Oh yeah, it's great !" I grasped his hand without thinking, dragging him to me and Ethan's table. When he noticed us approach, Ethan smiled nicely. "What's up?" he asked while Ted sat on the chair next to me. "You're Theo, right?" Ethan asked, putting his fist in front of him.
"Ted." He responded simply, fist bumping Ethan's hand with hesitation.
"Right, Ted, my bad man."
"He's really bad with names." I murmured, trying to ease the atmosphere. " Especially Napoléon Bonaparte, he cannot remember his name even if his life depended on it..."
"Hey, that French guy as a hard name ok !" Replied Ethan, his hand up in surrender.
"Napoleon ?" Repeated Ted, before turning to me. "Oh the little angry French dude ?"
Ethan brust out laughing at that, earning us a shush from the librarian. We giggled quietly, Ted shoulders relaxing lightly and is usual smile finally appaering again.
"Guys, guys, let's focus ok ? The test is in two days !" I say in the most neutral voice possible, not succeeding to stop my growing smile from appearing at Ted's one. "Ok, so what famous battle did Napoléon Bonaparte loose ?"
Three hours later, we finally get out of there, sighing loudly. Ethan's leave's us quickly, having a football practice, leaving me and Ted alone in front of the library. I quickly glance at him but feel heat rise to my cheeks when I see that he was already looking at me, a big smile on his lips.
"You were right dudette ! Ethan is a nice dude !" He pat's my shoulder. "He as a most excellent humour."
I laugh, nudging Ted shoulder with mine. "Told you." I respond, adjusting my bag on my shoulder, groaning.
"I can carry it if you want !" Before I can even reply, he takes it from me and slings it over his available shoulder. "There ! Now we're ready to go !"
"Why do you all think I can't carry my own bag ?!" I complain, while catching up with Ted who already started walking. I stop my thoughts for a moment, thinking back on what Billy said to me a few days ago. I look back at Ted who's still smiling, moving his head to the beat of an invisible song. That's when it hits me, finally. I stop in my track, also stopping Ted by putting my hand on his arm. "What's up dude ?" He asks, turning around to face me. "Y/N ?"
"You were jealous of me and Ethan." I whisper, realising it as I say it. "But, not because you were afraid of losing me as...a friend."
Ted eyebrows furrow, confusion written all over his face. "What do you mean?"
"You were jealous, yes ?" I ask, looking up at him. "Be honest."
He's hesitant for a moment, his cheeks reddening slightly. "I mean, yeah...like, kinda. I was afraid he was, you know, mean and stuff." He shrugges, his gaze looking at everything but me. "Turns out he's nice ! And his exam is in two days, so you'll be free again !"
"Ted..."
"Yes ?" He responds, looking at me again, his smile fading when he see's my expression. "Y/N ?"
"Are you..." I gulp, feeling my hand starting to shake. "Ted, I have to admit something to you. I don't know if I'm reading what's happening in the wrong way but I have to try, just in case I'm right." His brows furrow again, now he looks even more lost than before. "Give me my bag, just in case I'm wrong so that I can run away quickly." I chuckle nervously.
"What ?" He laughs quickly "Why would you ran away dude ?"
"I like you." I blur out, looking him dead in the eyes. "Not in a you're my best friend way but in a I want to be way more than your best friend way." I quickly swallow, feeling my courage fade. "I mean, not super mega best friend way either. Romantic way, like couples." I search his eyes. "Ted ?" I ask, my heart hammering in my chest. "Please, say something..."
"Woah dude..." He whispers, taking his head in his hands. "DUDE !"
I jump at his sudden yelling but can't help a laugh when I see him jumping around, punching the air yelling dude and woah multiples time. He suddenly stops, looking at me with the widest smile I've ever seen him have.
"DUDE !" He yells again, running towards me, lifting me in his arms while I yelp.
"Ted ! Oh my god, what are you doing ?!" I laugh while he spins me around. "I'm going to fall, I'll fall !" I breath out, felling my body slip away from his arms. "Ted, what's happening with you ?" I laugh, out of breath while he puts me down, his arms still holding me close to him.
"What's happening ? Dude, you told me you're in love with me !" He responds quickly, his voice trembling. "The most bodacious babe just told me she likes me ! Like, in a romantic way !"
I push him a bit to look at him, surprised. "Wait, does that mean..."
He cuts me off. "Of course it does ! Why would I spin you around ?"
"Do you even know yourself ? You could do it at any given opportunity!" I laugh, in disbelief. "So, I was right, you were jealous of Ethan."
Ted lower his head, his hair covering his face to hide his shamefulness. "Yeah... I mean, the guy's has everything. He's popular, handsome, nice and a jock. Bonus point for being funny !"
I smile tenderly, taking his face in my hands to put his gaze back into mine.
"True. He's veeeery handsome." Ted huff, trying to look away but I turn his face again to make him look back at me. "But I prefer guys with brown hair and eyes, who wear silly jackets with a big smiling face behind, rather than a sport's one. I also prefer guys with a blond friend called Bill. You want me to continue or you got it ?"
I feel the heat radiating from his face on my fingers, if seeing how red he was wasn't enough. We only look at each other for a moment, letting everything sink in.
"I really want to kiss you." He breaths out. "Can I kiss you ?"
"After you apologies."
"I'm sorry for being an evil dude. I shouldn't have ignored such a babe just because of a nice jock guy."
I giggle when he gives my cheek a quick peck. "And I'm sorry for not taking the time to hang out with you and Bill, I should have. I swear that from this day on, I will no matter what !" I finish my speech by returning his quick peck, making him giggle. "Now you can kiss me handsome."
He blushes at the pet name before crashing his lips on mine without a warning, making me yelp in surprise. Quickly, I compose myself and slide my hands to his hair to deepen the kiss while they move in rhythm with one another. It's clumsy, so we smile and giggle through it, he even apologies some times which I always respond with a simple it's ok before pulling him back for more. He doesn't have to be jealous, because no matter how messy and inexperienced our kisses are, I only want his.
"This was the most excellent kiss ever !"

Take Your Time | Choi Yeonjun
Tumblr media
Summary: Yeonjun asks out his Noona the first time he speaks to her and she surprisingly says yes. Pairing: fem!reader x Choi Yeonjun Word Count: 3.4k~ Warnings: Tiny bit of suggestive language and four year age gap but that's about it. a/n: Requested by one of my lovely anons. Sorry it took me so long to get it out! But trust me, there will definitely be a part two ;)
Growing up I never was one to stand out from the crowd, let alone the one anyone batted an eye at. I always thought of myself as being average, just a face in the crowd and I was okay with that. No one has ever really taken a special interest in me, so why do I find myself being chased around by a young guy named Yeonjun?
He's one that some might classify as "popular" but titles like those don't hold as much weight in college as they did in high school. No matter where I turn, if I find myself sitting in the library, eating lunch out in the sun, spending time with my small group of friends or even walking to my classes I can always see him coming. Doesn't help the fact that he's at least a head or two taller than most of the students here so it's kind of hard not to notice him.
We do have similar majors I'll give him that so we share a couple of classes and because of that I'm bound to run into him but why has he taken to me so strongly? He hasn't asked me to tutor him so he must not want to use me for my brain. Nor has he tried to hit on me, he just seems like a genuine guy who for some reason has become somewhat infatuated with me.
Maybe it's our age gap that he finds attractive, and the fact that there isn't much competition he would have to deal with. Guys like him do seem like they would want to go for older women, ones that are more experienced so to say. Little does he know that this Noona he's chasing after isn't much more than she seems.
"Noona, you dropped this!" I hear someone say and I turn to see Yeonjun holding up the pen I had just been using. "Oh thank you Yeonjun" I say and take it back getting hit with a faint jolt of electricity when our hands touch. "You know my name?" he asks clearly surprised. "Well yeah I'm your TA for this class so it's kind of my job to know everyone's name" I say laughing at his confusion.
"Oh yeah, I guess you’re right. How are you?" he asks clearly trying to find a way to continue this conversation. "I'm fine thanks, how are you?" I ask returning the sentiment. "I'm doing great. I just wanted to see if I could ask you something" he says and I can see the tips of his ears turning red which could really only mean one thing.
I hum in acknowledgment and wait for him to continue. "Do you think that maybe you might want to go on a date with me sometime?" he asks now looking down at his feet. "What was that?" I tease, hoping to ease up the tension. "Will you go on a date with me?" he says making eye contact after taking a deep breath. Looking at him a bit closer I can see how young he is and how honestly adorable he looks. He is an attractive guy so I guess one date might not hurt.
"Sure" I say with a soft smile. "Wait, really?" he says now making hard eye contact with me, searching my features to see if I actually meant it. "Yeah why not? Don't tell me you're backing out on me already" I chuckle, loving the reactions he's giving me.
"It's just that, I didn't think you would actually say yes. Does Saturday work?" he asks quickly solidifying our plans. "Saturday is fine, do you have a car or would you like me to come pick you up?" I question knowing that it's not common for a college student to have a car where we live. "I could just meet you there! I don't want you to go out of your way" he says, cheeks blushing at the thought of me picking him up instead of the other way around.
"It's okay Yeonjun, just send me the time and your address and I'll come get you" I say and hand him my phone so he can put in his number. He takes it with two hands, clearly still showing respect for my age which is a good sign and saves his name as Choi Yeonjun keeping things formal, to which I change it to Junnie making sure he sees it.
"Junnie? No one has really called me that since I was a kid" he says scratching the back of his head. "Oh it's okay I don't plan on calling you that, I just like to have cute nicknames in my phone for my friends" I say saving it and putting my phone in my pocket. "Friends huh?" He says looking a little disheartened.
"I guess we'll find out after that date" I say and ruffle his hair before I make my way to my next class. "See you later, Junnie" I say giving him a kiss on the cheek before I leave. I glance back and see that he's still facing the other way with his hand placed on the cheek I had kissed and laugh a bit at the sight. He's a cute kid.
I get a text later on in the day from Yeonjun telling me the time but for some reason he wont tell me where we're going.
'Can you at least tell me how I should dress?' I send shaking my head.
'Comfortable but not too comfortable. Some sort of jeans and t shirt combo would be good' he replies simply.
'Oh and you might want to wear a black shirt or something because we might get a bit dirty ;)' he finishes and gives me no more information after that. I huff in semi annoyance but I'm actually quite excited to see what he might have in mind.
"Hi Noona" Yeonjun greets hopping into my car, he makes an effort to lean in towards me resting his arm against the console to balance and gives me his cheek. "What are you doing?" I giggle feigning innocence. "Noona you gave me a kiss last time" he lets out, pouting slightly at the thought of being denied the kiss that he was clearly hoping for. "Settle down and put your seatbelt on" I say laughing at him and he does as he's told but while he's busy doing so I lean in and give him a quick peck on the cheek as I had done before.
"I-" he says again placing his hand against the spot where my lips had just been, clearly catching him off guard again. "So are you gonna tell me where we're going or what?" I say sitting back in my seat and then offering him my phone to pull up the directions which he fumbles with for a second and then hands it back to me.
Once we pull up I'm surprised to see that we're in front of a pottery studio, "Really?" I say teasing him, pretending that I'm uninterested. "What you don't like it? I thought I heard you talk about the ceramics class you had last year that you really liked so I-" "Yeonjun I'm kidding, I love it!" I say grabbing his hand trying to show sincerity.
"Loosen up a bit love, I like to tease people a lot" I say giving his hand a squeeze and pulling him into the shop. "We’re gonna have to have a talk about you listening in on my conversations though" I say pretending to scold him. "I'm sorry I just wanted to make sure to take you somewhere you would like to go. Not some lame movie date" he say looking down at his shoes.
"Jun" I say hoping to bring his attention back over to me. "You really don't have to be shy with me, I promise I'm just playing around" I say hoping he'll understand me a bit more. "I'm sorry it's just, well I've never gone out with a girl that's older than me so I wanted to be respectful and we don't know each other well yet so I wasn't sure if I should be formal with you or not" he explains and I notice again how red his ears have gotten.
"Take a deep breath with me okay?" I say and encourage him to follow while we wait our turn in line and a few seconds later breathe out. "We're on a date right?" I question him to which he nods. "So let's drop some of the formality, still be respectful but you don't need to walk on egg shells around me. Got it?" I ask hoping now he'll start to loosen up. "Got it!" he says giving me a bright smile that I know is about to become one of my favorites.
As we start our pottery lesson I notice that the instructor keeps on making eyes at me and it's very apparent that Yeonjun does as well. The instructor seems to take a special interest in me and makes sure to compliment me and come to my aide when I'm struggling. Honestly isn't it unprofessional to try to flirt with customers so openly?
"Hey Yeonjun come here" I say with the intention of asking him to 'help' me. "Do you think you could help me out? My hands seems to be getting pretty shaky so it's hard for me to get it to look as nice as yours looks" I pout trying to make him feel a bit better showing him that I need him.
"Sure Noona how did you want me to..." he questions not really sure how to go about it. "Oh if you want to get behind me and place your hands on top of mine to guide me that might help" I say sneakily creating the 'Ghost' scene. He awkwardly agrees and helps me just like I asked him with his chest up against my back and him whispering in my ear praising me for getting it down so quickly which honestly has me feeling a bit flustered.
"Thank you love" I say placing another kiss on his cheek "I think I've got it from here" I say and send him back to his station and make it a point to send a tight lipped smile to the creep, making sure he saw our interaction. Even if Yeonjun and I aren't in a relationship I want to make him feel secure in himself and see that I really wanted to come on this date with him and he's the only guy I care to pay attention to.
"You okay?" I ask as we make our way out of the studio, taking a hold of his hand while we walk back to my car. "I didn't like the way that guy was looking at you" he says clenching his jaw a bit, now being given a bit more freedom to express his emotions.
"Hey, I made sure the guy knew that we were together and he did back off a bit after that so don't worry. Plus I made sure to talk to the manager about him so I don't know how much longer he'll be working there" I finish, walking over to the drivers side of the car.
"You're literally the coolest person I know Noona" he says amazed at my simple actions. "I know" I say smiling at his sentiment and get in the car and again hand him my phone for him to put in the next address for the second stop on our adventure.
"How did you know I like rollerskating?" I question, finding his attention to detail adorable. "Well I thought I saw a bumper sticker on your car a while ago that has a pair of roller skates on it so I figured you might want to go!" he says with a bright smile, happy he was right.
"Plus it gives me an excuse to do this" he says and places his hand in mine. I find myself a little flustered at the action as this is the first time he's initiated some sort of physical touch and it somehow gets my heart racing. I guess since it's my first time going on a date in a while, him making moves on me might effect me a bit more.
"Come on let's go!" he says cutely, excited to get started and I trail along behind him with my hand still firmly in his grasp. As we get inside I reach for my bag to find my card so I can pay for the entrance and skate rental, "No it's okay Noona I'm paying!" he says proudly swiping his card before I even have a chance to find my wallet.
"Are you sure? You already paid for the pottery class" I say feeling a bit unsure of if I should let him pay, especially since I'm older than him. "Yes I'm sure, I asked you on a date so it's my responsibly to take care of you" He says and guides me closer to the counter so we can both get our hands stamped, showing we've paid the entry fee. He takes a hold of my hand after that and leads me towards the skate rental counter to pick up ours for the day.
"If I would've known we were coming I would've brought my skates" I say laughing at how chipper he seems. "But that would've ruined the surprise!" he says, stating the obvious. "I'll let you know next time..." he says trailing off leaving it open ended trying to see if I would want there to be a next time. "Okay, next time" I say squeezing his hand hopefully showing my sincerity.
He smiles down at me and it's just now that I'm taking into account our height difference and for some reason it has me starting to feel shy. Our eyes lock for a moment and I see him start to study my features and he glances down at my lips for a moment before the kid at the counter hands us our skates.
We sit down to start putting them on and before I can say anything he's kneeling down in front of me helping me tie my laces. "Hey you don't have to do that!" I say laughing at his clumsiness with the extra long laces. "I know, but I want to" he says and looks up at me now almost being eye level.
My phone buzzes and I mentally groan at another interruption and check it but before I can protest he's helping me put on the other skate. "Who was that? If you don't mind me asking" he questions tentatively. "My boyfriend, he's wondering why I haven't been answering his calls today" I say rolling my eyes and throwing my phone in my purse after putting it on silent.
Much to my amusement Yeonjun ends up choking on air and almost toppling over from his crouched down position but I end up reaching out in time to help steady him. "Boyfriend?" he says between coughs. I smile at him and see how pink his cheeks have gotten clearly embarrassed by what he believes to be new information about me. "Yeonjun, what did I say about lightening up? Of course I don't have a boyfriend, it was just someone liking my story that's all" I say rubbing his back waiting for him to stop coughing.
"Okay good" he says clearing his throat. "Now come on handsome let's get your skates on too! This is my favorite song!" I say happily standing up to stretch a bit before kneeling down and doing the same for him. "Noona you don't-" "Shhh you helped me now let me help you" I say simply and once done I stand up to reach for his hand and take him towards the rink where 'Oh shit...are we in love?' by Valley is blasting through the blown out speakers.
Once I step onto the rink I notice Yeonjun's hesitation to do the same, flinching a bit watching someone wipeout on the polished wood. "You're fine, come on I'll teach you" I say reaching out for his hand which he reluctantly takes.
"Have you never been roller skating before?" I ask while I guide him to the railing running across the wall that encases the rink. "I have but umm-" he's interrupted by almost slipping before I help him regain a bit of his balance, "it's been a while" he says awkwardly laughing at his efforts of recovery. We go around the rink a few times and he starts to get more comfortable with each completion.
"You think you got it now?" I question, confident that we won't have any Bambi on ice moments again. "Okay you stay here and I'll go skate to the other side and wait to see if you can skate all the way to me without using the wall. You think you can do that?" I ask hoping he's gained some confidence. "I think so" he says giving me a nervous chuckle.
I nod and skate over to the agreed upon area and wave him over to me. He struggles for a moment or two but then my mouth drops seeing him skate towards me like a natural, even turning around and skating backward and makes a circle around me when he catches up.
"Yeonjun! That was amazing!" I say and punch him in the arm which he grabs instantly and rubs it afterwards. "Hey what was that for?" he pouts, acting like I actually hurt him. "That was for lying to me, you are really good at skating. Maybe even better than me, maybe" I say smirking at him a bit before punching him again.
"Noona!" he whines this time actually feeling a bit of pain, "and that was for yelling at me" I say crossing my arms over my chest. "What else was I supposed to do? You caught me off guard when you punched me" he says still rubbing his "injured" bicep.
"Aww do you want me to blow on it?" I say leaning down to blow some cool air on it before I feel him grab my jaw and bring my face back up to his. "I could think of something else you could blow" he says dropping his voice and octave. Now I'm the one choking on air.
"Yeonjun!" I say scolding him to which he just laughs, watching me try to catch my breath. "Look how the tables have turned, two can play at this game you know" he says with a devious smile, now having flipped a switch. "You've just been playing the role of the quiet nervous boy haven't you?" I say making my way to get out of the rink  to go sit back down.
"Who said I was playing? I really was nervous and I still am, but you're really cool and I like the way you joke around with me so I wanted to fight back a bit. Did I escalate it too much? You just made it too easy" he says brushing a strand of hair behind my ear.
"N-no that's fine, I don't mind, you just caught me off guard that's all" I say admitting to my shock. "Okay good. Are you tired? I was thinking that we could go and get something to eat and then maybe go to the drive ins?" he says clearly excited at the prospect of continuing the date. "No I'm not tired but I'm definitely hungry! Did you wanna get something from the snack bar or…?" I question trying to see what he had in mind.
"I actually had a place I wanted to take you to, is that okay?" he questions giving me the option. "Sure, you're two for two on the places you've taken me to so I would say that I trust your judgement" I say smiling when I see how happy he is after hearing my praises.
"Shall we?" he says dramatically putting his arm out to escort me to the car after having returned the skates. I shake my head and smile at him while I grab a hold of him, "You're adorable you know that right?" I say looking back up at him. "Let's see how much longer you'll be calling me that" he mutters more to himself. "What was that?" I say tilting my head catching onto what he might be implying. "Oh nothing don't worry about it" he says and opens my door for me once we're back at my car.
Part 2 coming soon...

Hello friend are your requests open?? I saw your Cove in school hcs and would like to add: going to university w Cove 👀 if this is too similar to the school hcs feel free to ignore lol I am just having a Normal Amount of thoughts about this boy :')
(Imagine renting an apartment with him and basically living like a married couple tho........ him driving you to class when it rains so you don't have to walk........... lunch dates in the school cafeteria while you both complain about the shitty dining hall food..................)
Okay I'll stop here this is your writing blog lmao XD thank you in advance if you do take this request tho I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts!!
— cove university hcs
You Are So Real. as a uni student i feel sick to my stomach like WHY NOT ME? no cove for me? none for me????? sick sick sick sick
be real. cove asks "are you ready to go home?" and he smiles and it's especially the first few times that he blushes and grins at the thought of Having a Home With You.
^ very much jumped at the chance to live with you when you brought up the idea
cove had his schedule on his lock screen and yours on his home screen for a while. once the both of you figured out a routine and when you could find each other he switched it back to his usual photos (u r in them of course. how else is he going to motivate himself when he's studying)
he really really wishes he could have every single class with you which y'know,, unless you have the same major and same electives isn't going to happen. he gets much happier when you finally meet up after class
still, you guys definitely sat together and planned out your classes. both to try planning breaks together and also for general emotional support.
^ don't get me started on the morning of registration. the refreshing and tension for first year registration because you don't have a backup schedule? crazy.(also my uni website was Horrendously slow)
exam season is hell, obviously. cove checks on you periodically and asks how things are going. if you're prone to overworking his check-ins are how he gets you to take a break.
^ if you refuse he'll try to find a middle ground, but if he knows you need to rest cove Will get you to rest. he's frowning when he speaks. says a loving but firm "you won't be able to study well if you burn yourself out. can you take a break with me?"
exploring the campus with cove!! seeing the different buildings, finding different libraries, pretending you're different majors. you get it
^ the both of you walk around before the first day to figure out where your classes are. it's kind of tiring but you're prepared now so !
figures out what places you both eat at and will memorize your regular order so he can bring it to you
he talks to you whenever he feels homesick because who would understand better than you? you're his biggest source of comfort
the both of you watching those university student meal videos/tiktoks because dear god you can only handle campus food/restaurants for so long.
^ you also text your parents for their recipes and tips whenever you get particularly homesick
HIM DRIVING! gives you a Look when you say you can walk and it's raining or super cold. why would you even say that to him. if you can't drive, either he'll drive you or you walk together. there's no other options.
'sneaking' each other into the particularly big classes—especially the first year intro ones. i say 'sneaking' because it Isn't Difficult At All.
^ you end up just working on your own things, but the extra time together is always nice !!
thinking about cove forgetting his pencil (case) the day of an exam and asking you for one sheepishly. (said by girl who's done this twice.)
he'd love to tell you about what he learns from his major—i'd go ahead and assume it's in the realm of marine sciences. he'd tell you about something cool he learned or maybe already knew from his own research and get very excited !!
^ hopes you'll do the same with him. smth smth sharing is a love language smth smth
reading week and breaks. i just know this guy sighs as he looks at his study guides before saying "just a few more days," to himself. he needs you to remind him too because it's more comforting when he remembers he'll have time off with You
taking pictures together for yourselves and to update your families !!! teasingly taking photos of cove doing mundane things just because it's now at University. first lunch, first class, etc etc
cove totally supports you if you want to join a club or go to any events. he might not go to many, especially if they're bound to be crowded and loud, but he'll ask how it went and want to catch up
we all know there's a difference between high school morning classes and uni morning classes. but cove is a morning person and i can't imagine how many times i'd complain about a 10 am class while he woke up at 6 that morning
🏷 | @lordbugs @xfangirl-trashx @fifteenshadesofpinkk @lotus-sukimono @bakugosgrenade @vhenis @dreamtydraw
living together means it's that much easier for cuddle sessions after a long day (or any day.) cove is just as happy to come find you as he is to hold open his arms for you. whether you want to rant or have a distraction, he'll be there
**add on | COVE GETTING HIS ACCEPTANCE LETTER! you both opened it at the same time and the relief and excitement that washed over him was overwhelming.

London Boy (Ranpo Edogawa)
The printer made one last wheezing sound before turning off once more. "Man, it only printed out seven of them." Y/N chewed on her lip in frustration. "Ranpo isn't going to like this. Maybe if I make a trip to the library on my lunch break." She thought as she gathered the papers up in one hand and pulled out her cellphone.
The time was currently eleven thrity in the afternoon. If she left right now, she could also get one of those fancy sandwiches from the Cafe by the station. Y/N quickly clocked out her lunch break and made her way out of the building. To her surprise Ranpo was outside, leaning against the building railing looking bored.
Quietly, she slowly stepped over to where Ranpo was and stood in front of him. Ranpo glanced up and immediately presented Y/N with a wide grin. "Y/N! There you are! I've been waiting out here forever!" The detective whined to the other. "Are you ready for lunch yet? You're paying for being late!" Ranpo stuck out his tongue and made a childish face.
"Um, well I still have to finish a few things. But I'll bring you back something from a bakery yeah?" Y/N hesitantly explained, watching as the male's eyes slowly dropped in disappointment. "We can definitely go to dinner though! Okay? See you later!" She quickly ran away from the other and made her way to the station. Not giving ranpo the opportunity to talk or stop her.
***
An hour later, Y/N had returned to the agency carrying a small box in her arms. After clocking back in, she took the box up to her desk to finish up her assignment. It took nearly her entire lunch break but she finally manged to finsh the print job for Ranpo. Before she could get to her desk though, a figure stoof in front of the agency doors.
Ranpo looked up from his spot arms crossed and a frown on his face. "Did you even eat?" Was all that followed from his lips.
"Ah." Y/N said looking dumbstruck.
Ranpo let out a long sigh before grabbing Y/N's free arm and dragging her away from the agency. "You can't do your job if you have no food for your brain, dummy. Let's go eat at that new Cafe! Since I had to wait an extra hour for my lunch I'm extra hungry. So your paying!" Ranpo happily explained, his grip tighten on the other.
"But the deadline!" Y/N tried to protest but still allowed herself to be pulled away by the older man.
"Eh, I don't really care about that." Ranpo shrugged, "Those government people can cry about it for all I care. Food is more important than trying to secure a capitalist state." Y/n couldn't help but blink at the male in respond before she was suddenly stoo in front of the cafe.
What. In. The. World.
Without a word, Ranpo quickly pushed Y/N into the building and skipped straight to the cashier. "Hi there! Can I get one of everything on your menu please? Thank you!" With that Ranpo had placed a black credit card on the counter and grabbed Y/N's hand before walking off to find a table.
"Um, Ranpo are you good?" Y/N questioned, feeling taken back by the sudden forcefulness coming from the older male. Instead of responding, Ranpo gently pushed Y/N into a nearby chair and took the seat next to her.
"Now we can finally start our lunch date!" Ranpo smiled cheerfully.
"D-date?" Y/N stuttered, face feeling awfully warm.
Ranpo pouted, "Jeez, I asked you yesterday! Remember? Did you hit your head or something at the library?" Y/N just blinked at the other in shock, this was a date?
"Um, yeah I guess I did forget. I'm sorry Ranpo, I didn't mean to forget like that." Y/N blushed red, looking down in embarrassment at her words.
"Ah! It's fine really! Just don't let it happen again!" Ranpo said, clinging onto the other with a wide smile on his face. If Y/N had gathered the courage to glance at the other, she would see that the red in his checks looked absolutely exceptional.

I woke up this morning to find you gone : a Volturi one-shot
The Twilight "Zone" series-these stories have a bit of strangeness about them.
Caius' human mate - First person POV
Caius' mate goes to bed with him, then falls asleep with him at her side as he is most nights. She awakens the next morning to find him gone. Not away, but really gone. And no one in the Volturi castle has ever heard of him. Or her. How will a human convince the Volturi she belongs there, and that her mate is real and is now missing.
oooooooooooooooooooo
My name is Allie Carson. I was an American who had lived in Washington state all my life. It was a fairly normal life, that is, until I met Caius. He was handsome, almost regal in his carriage, rude when it suited him, and an old-fashioned gentleman when he chose to be. I could tell right off he was...different.
I had bumped into him on the street, literally. He had been sent, he later told me, to keep an eye on a local family here in Forks.
"Are you a cop or FBI agent? I asked him, curious.
"Nothing so mundane," he replied curtly. "Why do you care?"
I ignored the snark. "Mundane? Now you have me really interested. I would never say the work of a detective or an agent of the government was mundane."
He only smirked, which intrigued me more. I told him I was on my way to have lunch at a local diner and asked him to join me. He agreed after looking around the main street. I briefly wondered what he was looking for, but by the time we reached the diner, my mind was on the hamburger lunch deal my stomach was demanding.
We sat at a table, and the waitress came by with two glasses of water. She set them down and took out her pad. "Hello, Allie, I see you found a friend. Stranger around these parts?" she asked Caius, her eyes obviously admiring him. "What can I get you both?"
"Marsha, I'll have the hamburger lunch deal, with a Coke." I looked at my impromptu companion. "Can I get you anything...uh?"
"Caius," he said, finally smiling.
"Caius? Ok then, Caius...did you want anything?"
"No, thank you. I've eaten already," he replied, leaning back against his chair.
There was that smirk again. "I guess I'm the only one eating, Marsha." After she went to put in my order, I looked the blonde man over. "Caius is a strange name."
"It's an old family name. I rather like it," he said.
"Oh, I do too. Unusual names run in my family. Even though I ended up with 'Allison', dad once told me he wanted to name me Athena, but mom objected."
"The Greek goddess," he said knowingly.
"Are your parents historians or something? Your name, the fact you instantly recognized one of the Greek gods."
"Actually, I am a historian so to speak. I...read a lot about history. Do you like history as well?"
I was so impressed to meet someone like Caius. Here in Forks, the library had minimal books on ancient history, so I had to buy a lot of used books online. "Yes, I love history, I don't even care what era. It all interests me."
His brilliant blue eyes lit up at my words, so I must have said something right. Just then, Marsha came by with my lunch plate and a glass of Coke.
"Here you go, Allie." She turned to Caius, asking him, "Sure you don't want anything?" When he shook his head, she nodded and left us alone.
We talked about anything that came into our minds until I had finished everything on my plate. "How long will you be in town?" I asked my lunch companion.
"Two days, maybe three. Then I'll return home."
"Where is home, if I may ask." I wasn't sure if he had to keep that secret, his job and all.
"I'm from Volterra." He must have seen my frown, since he immediately clarified. "Tuscany region, Italy.
"Wait. So you're not an American officer? Interesting." His accent didn't sound Italian, but perhaps he was a transplant.
We left the cafe together, but I had to get home, and Caius seemed distracted, his eyes again scanning the streets. We bid each other goodbye and went our separate ways.
I walked across the street, still watching Caius. A young man, whose face I didn't recognize, walked up to him. They seemed to speak to each other as if they knew one another. The stranger was dressed in what appeared to be clothing from another era. He was handsome as well, and I wondered who he was. I sneezed, which forced my eyes closed. By the time I opened them, Caius and the stranger were gone.
The next morning, I left my house to find the blonde stranger standing on the sidewalk out front. He smiled when I walked over to him. "I just wanted to see you before I left," he said.
We spent the rest of the morning together. I asked him if he could reveal the name of the family he was watching. Were they criminanls, I asked him. He laughed.
"Not exactly criminals. The Cullens tend to do their own thing with no concept of the law."
Did he mean Carlisle Cullen? "Caius, Dr Cullen is highly respected here in town. We feel fortunate to have such a...a skilled physician in our small hospital, when he could find a better paying position anywhere in the country. And his family's great. I don't know them very well, but we have spoken at times. Alice is so sweet, and Emmett is a hoot."
"They've done nothing wrong...yet. I was only sent to watch them," Caius replied, trying to reassure me.
I admitted to myself I was intrigued by this man, a foreigner to my country. But I was stunned when the last day of his stay, before he was supposed to leave for good, Caius demanded to see me. Demanded.
We had gone for a walk into town and ended up at the park. We sat on a bench beneath a tree. I didn't say much, unsure how I felt about his leaving. His next words stunned me.
"I want you to join me in Volterra. Come with me and be my mate. I know it sounds strange, but it won't when I explain everything."
"It's been three days! I hardly know you, Caius! What is this all about?" I looked up at him while he stood and paced in front of me.
"I cannot tell you everything, Allie. You have to trust me when I say we belong together. I confirmed this with Marcus."
"Who the hell is Marcus? Caius, are you crazy?" I shut up when he took my hands in his and sat beside me.
"I...work with Marcus. He has a gift of recognizing relationships between people, a hundred, fifty...two. He told me you and I are destined to be mates."
"Mates. As in spouses?"
"If you wish to call it that. All I know is what I feel when I am with you. My previous mate died long ago."
Long ago, he said, when he barely looked thirty years old. My head was spinning, yet when he suddenly kissed me, my brain took the time to stop thinking while I let this man gather me in his arms and continue to kiss me. When he pulled back, I gazed at him in shock. Yet could it have felt more natural.
So I left Forks forever, binding my life with Caius', before I even knew much about him, or what he was.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
It was like any other night, Caius and me lying in our bed while we talked about the day's events. We were laughing about something that happened, when he moved to hover over me, pressing his lower body against mine. I smiled up at him while wrapping him in my arms. then kissing him. I was still human, so he had to be careful he didn't accidently bite the tip of my tongue off. Soon he would change me, and he would not have to hold back any longer.
We made love until I was tired out. He let me lie against him, our fingers entwined. "I love you, my heart," I said.
"I love you, amore mio," he replied, pulling me closer.
I closed my eyes and Caius held me until I fell asleep.
Sunlight poured through the window, waking me. I turned to my left to see an empty spot in our bed. I sat up, calling for Caius. Maybe he was in the shower, but he usually asked me if I wanted to join him. I got out of bed and headed for the bathroom. No Caius. I touched the shower wall. It was dry.
Had he been summoned by Aro for a last minute meeting or trial, and didn't want to wake me?
I quickly dressed and went in search of my mate. I entered the door of the throne room, and found no one. Perhaps they had gathered in the larger audience hall. I was on my way there when strong arms grabbed mine, pulling me back against a tall, marble-hard body.
"Felix, you startled me." When I turned to look up at him, his expression frightened me. It was as if he didn't know me. When he grabbed my arm, I struggled against the pain. "Felix, you're hurting me." Even the fearsome Felix had never harmed me since I arrived here. This was very much out of character for him.
I was unceremoniously dragged to the smaller throne room, where Aro now sat with Marcus on the dais that lacked one chair. This was crazy. Where was Caius' throne?
I was about to ask what was going on and where was Caius, when Aro rose from his throne and walked down the three steps to stand before me, Felix still holding my arms but less tightly.
"Who are you and how did you get inside this place?" His red eyes bore into mine.
"Aro, I've been here ever since Caius brought me here. And where is he, by the way. What have you done to his throne?"
I saw Aro glance back at Marcus, who was sitting still, as he usually did. The quiet one merely shook his head.
"Aro, can you please ask Felix to let me go."
Aro gave the tall guard a blink and Felix stepped back, but not far from me.
I rubbed my arms and glanced around the room to see most of the top guards standing against the wall. They all looked at me as if they didn't know me.
"What is your name, my dear," Aro asked.
I had to laugh. "You know me, brother. I'm Allie, Caius' mate?"
Aro looked aback when I called him brother. He stepped back, turned and walked slowly back to his throne, sitting once there. 'You say you are Allie, mate to Caius. Yet we know no Caius...nor you."
This was insane. I was in a nightmare it seemed.
I pointed down the line of guards. "That's Demetri, Chelsea, Afton, Santiago, Jane, Alec. Heidi is most likely out fetching tourists for your next meal. You're Aro and he's Marcus. If I hadn't been here awhile, how would I know your names or theirs? I also know you're vampires." I looked over at the empty far corner. "Where is Caius' throne? It usually sits there, at your left."
"There has never been another throne, my dear. Marcus and I are the sole leaders of the Volturi. There are no others." He spoke gently, as if to a child.
"Yes, there is! Caius helped you form the coven ages ago." I had lost my composure by now.
Aro asked me a question, I think to test my story. "And who are you to this Caius?"
"I'm his mate, from America. He brought me here 10 months ago. You promised me one year before you insisted I be changed. I have two months left. And now I don't even belong here, so it seems."
I gave a pleading look at Marcus. who was always kind to me. He stared back at me as he would a stranger.
Aro appeared to be thinking, when he suddenly stood, walked down the steps, and grabbed my wrist, saying tersely, "Come with me."
I was suddenly afraid. "Where are you taking me, Aro?" Very afraid. "Aro, please don't kill me. Give me a chance to explain!"
"Foolish human, I'm not going to kill you, or you would have been dead already." We stopped in front of our chambers, mine and Caius'. "You say these are the rooms you shared with this Caius?"
I opened the right door and walked in. "These have been Caius' rooms for longer than I know. I have lived here with him for the last ten..." My heart dropped. I looked around to find an empty set of rooms. The furniture was gone. Our belongings were gone.
I ran to the bedroom, then searched the massive closet. It was empty of our clothing and the large jewelry case Caius had bought me to hold all the beautiful necklaces, earrings and rings he had chosen for me over the months. There was nothing left behind to bear witness to his extreme generosity.
I turned to Aro. "I don't understand. It's all gone. But it was here when I woke up this morning. I dressed and left to look for Caius." I thought for a moment. If Caius had disappeared from this place, perhaps time itself, all the things he had bought for me would be gone too. It was a logical assumption that if he never existed, anything tied to him would never have been here. And I would not be here. But I was. I am.
I started to walk back to the outer door. While I stood in the corridor, I felt Aro move behind me. I awaited execution, but instead, he took my elbow and led me back the way we came.
"You're not going to kill me, Aro?"
"I said I would not. You know too much, but what you know proves some of your story. For now, Marcus wishes to speak with you."
"No problem. I know the way." He let go my arm and we walked side by side to Marcus' chambers. When we came to his doors, Aro left me there with a pleasant expression, reassuring me.
I reached up and knocked on the heavy wooden door. It opened to reveal the tall melancholy vampire.
"Welcome, my child. Come in." He stepped aside to allow me in and led me to the settee. I sat down and tried to get comfortable.
"It's good to see you again. Marcus. I'm glad you asked me here since I want to ask you, do you see me with your gift? Am I with anyone?" Caius maybe.
Marcus looked a bit surprised that I mentioned his gift. "Yes, I know about your gift. When I arrived here from America, you confirmed with Caius and me, that we were mates and belonged together. Why don't you remember that?"
Since I had arrived here in Volterra, Marcus had always favoured me, and his lack of emotion basically made him more relaxing to be around. When Caius was off on some mission with the guards, Marcus would invite me to his rooms and read to me while I lay my head on his lap. Sometimes he would comb my hair with his fingers in a soothing manner. Anything to calm me during my mate's absences.
"Sit here, child. Aro asked me to talk with you about your delusion..."
"Marcus, it's not a delusion! I'm telling you all the truth. Caius met me in America, and we spent some time while he was in Forks. He asked me to go home with him because we belonged together." How many times did I have to say it. "He checked with you, telling me you have the gift to see relationships." I shut up, too tired to speak anymore.
"I have something to ask you, child. If you want to stay here, Aro has given his permission, as long as you stay with me. Eventually if you wish, you can become my mate and I will change you myself. For now, I will ask nothing of you."
I knew what he meant. I looked over at Marcus. Dear Marcus. I had no where else to go. I nodded silently.
I stayed with Marcus for the next 4 days. He was true to his word, asking nothing of me. Instead, he did what he could to make me feel better.
He had chosen a favourite book, reading to me while my head rested on his thigh. His fingers caressed my head while he played with my hair. His soothing voice became an even drone of words.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
I must have fallen asleep. I rose up on one elbow and looked around me. I was back in my bedroom, Caius' bedroom. Everything seemed as it should be. I turned to see Caius walking from the bathroom as he was drying his hair with a towel while completely naked. I stared up at him with what must have been a look of utter shock, before I jumped out of bed and ran to him, grabbing him and kissing his face and mouth.
"Oh my god, where have you been? I have been looking all over for you and no one knew who you were and everything here was gone..."
Caius dropped the towel when I had grabbed him. "Whoa, my love, what is all this? What do you mean I was missing and everything was gone."
"Am I dreaming now?" I grabbed his hands and looked at him, my expression serious. "I woke up five mornings ago. You were not in our rooms, so I went in search of you, thinking perhaps Aro had called for you. Felix found me and dragged me to the throne room. I asked Aro about you, and he acted like he had never heard of you. No one had. I was sure he was going to kill me since I had no reason to be here and was still human. I think the fact I knew so much convinced him I had been here for the last ten months." I would have rattled on hysterically had Caius not stopped me.
"Allie, shhhh...slow down, love." Caius cupped my cheek gently, then pulled me to him. He was here, back with me, and yet it was like five days ago all over again, only Caius was the one who didn't believe me.
"I spoke with Marcus and he offered to take me in so Aro would not have to kill me. He promised me if you never came back, he'd take me as his mate and change me himself."
"Wait, Allie, what are you talking about?" He gripped my upper arms with his hands. "Who the devil is this Marcus?"
Frowning, I looked at Caius in disbelief. "God, not again."

Parties & Stubbornness - Max Wolfe Imagine [Gossip Girl (2021)]
Tumblr media
Title: Parties & Stubbornness
Pairing: Max Wolfe X Reader
Word Count: 2,278 words
Warning(s): shitty parents, forced break-up
Summary: (Y/n) and Max were happy. But when (Y/n)'s parents find out, they threaten to tear the pair of them apart. Luckily, Max is incredibly stubborn when he needs to be.
Author's Note: I do appreciate my commitment to ignoring the plotlines of any project that Thomas Doherty is in. At least I'm consistent.
-------------------
Max had developed this habit of sneaking up on me.
It started off as an accident. He would sometimes walk up behind me and join whatever conversation I was in, and I would jump because I didn't expect to hear his voice.
He seemed to enjoy making me jump out of my skin because it started happening more and more. I would be eating lunch and he'd suddenly grab my shoulders just to spook me. Or I'd be walking to class, and he'd suddenly grab me and spin me around in the hall. I'd be walking into the school, and he'd step out right in front of me.
This time around, I was sitting in the library, looking for a bit of peace and quiet while scribbling notes from a textbook.
My upper arms were suddenly grabbed and before I could yell in shock, one of the hands had been placed over my mouth.
"Just me, don't worry," Max leaned down to whisper in my ear.
I reached back and lightly smacked his shoulder.
I heard a chuckle as he let go of me and sat down.
"You are an ass," I muttered to him.
He scooted the chair closer to me. "Am I?"
I saw his eyes bouncing from my eyes to my lips as he smirked at me. "Yes. Majorly."
"Majorly?" he pretended to be offended. "Oh, how ever will I apologize for such an offense?"
"I don't know if you could," I shrugged as I turned back to my book. "May be unforgivable."
"Oh, well, I can try my best to make it up to you," he said.
He grabbed my chin, turning me back to him. I grinned a bit as he leaned in and pressed his lips to mine. I heard him hum as I kissed him back.
He pulled away first. "Does that make up for it?"
"It may be a start," I replied, going back to my work.
"I have another way that may work," Max moved even closer so his chin could rest on my shoulder.
"What would that be?"
"Dinner. This Saturday. I will make it worth your while."
I caught the suggestive tone in his voice. I chuckled. "As tempting as that sounds, I can't."
"Why?"
"The company my dad works for is having some kind of fancy party. He has been very clear that I am indeed attending this one."
"Well, I could go to this party and make my amends there."
"You wanna go?"
"Yeah... why are you shocked?"
"I didn't think it would be your scene."
"A party?"
"Meeting my parents," I corrected. "That's a big deal."
He moved to look at me properly. "I know."
"Pretty big step."
"I know."
"Very serious."
"Do you not want me to meet your parents?"
"No, no, that's not it," I reached over and placed my hands on his. "I just... I don't know... maybe all of this... us... the seriousness of it is suddenly hitting me."
"I hope you're not experiencing regrets."
I leaned over and pressed my lips to his for a few moments. "Not a single one."
The grin that crossed his lips could have melted my heart. It always did.
"I'll talk to my parents and see if they can get you on the guest list."
"Okay."
"I'll call you when I know. I promise."
He nodded. "I can't wait."
I was so excited in that moment.
It stunned me how quickly things could go wrong.
I waited until that night to walk into the living room. My parents were sitting together, watching some movie that I had no interest in.
"Hey," I spoke up, causing them to turn around. "I wanted to ask you guys about something."
My mom paused their movie as my dad spoke up, "What is it?"
"Well, it's about your party this weekend," I explained. "There is someone that I want to invite."
"Oh, is it one of your friends from school," my mom asked. "I haven't seen any of them since before the pandemic. Which one?"
"You haven't met them yet," I nervously chuckled. "And it's not a friend. It's a boyfriend... a partner."
I hadn't told them about Max yet. I wanted to know that something was going to come out of this relationship before I did that. I didn't want them to worry too much about me.
"Oh," she mumbled. "What's his name?"
"Max... Wolfe," I grinned. "He's very sweet. I know that I should've mentioned him earlier, but I... I wanted to know that I wasn't wasting time... and I really don't think I am. I really like him and..."
I didn't see my dad's face shift until he stood up to look at me. My rambling slowed down as he watched me. My smile dropped a bit.
"What is it," I asked.
"Max Wolfe?"
I nodded, confirming the name.
"No," he replied. "I don't want him there."
I furrowed my eyebrows. "Okay... I'll call him and let him know. Would... Would you rather meet him here? Not in front of a whole bunch of people?"
"You have your phone now?"
"Yeah," I mumbled.
"Call him," my dad instructed. "Tell him that you can't be with him anymore."
"What?"
"Parents talk. I've heard all about this boy and what he does. I don't want you involved with him."
I scoffed. "You're joking, right?"
"Do as you're told."
"Then tell me to do something that makes sense!"
My dad stepped around the couch.
"You can't force me to do this," I continued. "It's... It's my choice. I'm happy. Why would you-"
"Remind me, who's financing your current and future education," he asked.
I felt tears fill my eyes. "You would threaten my future because I dated someone that you didn't see as good enough?"
"You will thank me for this later."
"I... Mom," I looked over at her.
She just sighed. "Do as your father says."
"What?!"
"You won't be leaving the room until you do."
"You're going to make me break up with my boyfriend in front of you?"
He crossed his arms over his chest.
I stared at him for a moment. Silently testing his resolve. He couldn't be serious. Surely, he was better than this.
He didn't stand down. He raised his eyebrow at me.
I wiped away the tears that managed to fall as I reached for my phone. I placed it on speaker as it rang.
"Hey, been waiting for you to call."
I almost flinched when Max answered. "Hey."
"Did you talk to your parents about the party?"
"Um, yeah, yeah," I nodded and closed my eyes. I could feel my dad glaring at me. "Um, they-"
I looked at them. My dad only raised his eyebrow a bit more. He didn't want me to connect this to them.
"I thought it wouldn't be a good idea."
"Okay..."
I bit my lip.
"Are you alright," he asked. "You... You sound like you're trying not to cry."
"I... I... I think we should stop seeing each other."
"What?"
"I just... I don't think we should see each other. I'm sorry."
"Is this your parents," Max questioned. I closed my eyes. "This... This doesn't sound like you, (Y/n). Is this what you want or-"
"I have to go. I'm sorry."
"No, (Y/n), wait! We need to talk about this!"
"Bye."
I hung up the phone quickly. I wiped my eyes again. I jumped when the phone started ringing.
"Give me your phone," my dad held out his hand. "That is the end of this."
I tossed my phone forward, watching it hit the rug. "I hope you're really fucking proud of yourself."
"Don't talk to your father like that!"
I ignored them both as I ran up to my room. I shoved the door shut and found myself curled up on the floor next to my bed. I covered my mouth as I finally felt sobs escape me.
The rest of the week was full of tense silence around the house. I didn't leave my room unless I needed to. I hid from all of it.
I went to school. I carefully avoided Max and his friends. He had introduced me to most of them, so I wasn't worried about them tracking me down. If he was at school, then I didn't see him.
Saturday was the worst.
I didn't get to skip the event. I was forced to go. I had to stand there and smile like my father hadn't casually threatened my education because I was dating a boy.
I was sick to my stomach most of the night.
I didn't want to spend time with my dad. I hated putting on the fake smile and being polite when all I wanted to do was to scream and run for the hills.
I was standing off to the side, watching the crowd. I don't know what I was looking for. Or if I was looking for anyone at all.
My heart dropped when I spotted a familiar face walking in.
Max stood there in his suit like it was the most casual thing he had ever done.
He smiled at me.
I took a deep breath and walked over to him, keeping an eye on my dad, who was busy mingling with some other businessmen.
"Max, what are you doing here," I asked in a hushed voice as I made it over to him. I was hoping to get him out before my parents caught him.
"I'm here to spend an evening with my partner," he explained. "Eat, dance, talk. Anything you'd like."
"You can't be here," I replied. "You know that."
"I don't accept it," he shook his head. "I... I am not giving this up. I'm not giving you up."
"Please, for the love of God, please go."
"Do you want me to go?"
"Max-"
"No, tell me. Tell me that you want me to go and I'll leave. But if you only want me to leave because of your parents, then I'm not going anywhere. Not without you."
I closed my eyes and tilted my head down.
"I love you too much to do that."
I looked back at him. He hadn't said that before. I had thought about it. Of course, I had. But it wasn't something we had gotten to say. There had been moments where I thought it was the next phrase on his tongue. But it always stopped there. On the tip of his tongue.
"You mean that," I asked.
"God, yes," he replied.
There was a moment of pause before I grabbed his shoulders and pulled him forward, pressing my lips to his. I felt a few tears fall down my cheek as I kissed him. It had been a matter of days, but I had spent all too long without this feeling.
I slowly pulled away and smiled at him. "I love you too."
A smile broke out on his face. "I'd hope so after that."
I hit his arm. He just chuckled.
"I'm sorry," I muttered to him. "For everything. I should've been braver. But he threatened my schooling and I... God, it doesn't matter, I shouldn't have-"
He shushed me. "You did what you had to. It's okay. I promise."
I just nodded.
His eyes latched onto someone behind me.
"What," I asked as I turned around. My dad was staring at us. He started walking over when we made eye contact. I turned back to Max. "We can just go. Right now."
"No," Max replied. He walked around me.
I turned around and followed him over. I was terrified. Not because of what Max would do or my dad's opinion. I was terrified of what my dad would try to do to Max and then blame Max for.
He held his hand out to my dad. "Nice to meet you, sir. I'm sorry that it took so long for us to meet."
I watched my dad's face closely.
I reached over and grabbed Max's free hand, moving to stand right next to him.
"Dad, this is my partner, Max," I explained. "I love him. You aren't going to change by telling me not to."
I felt Max's eyes move to me for a moment. There was a smile on his face.
My dad looked over at me. I held eye contact with him, trying to silently show that I was being serious. That I was going to stand by this choice.
There was a tense moment. My dad's eyes shifted between me and Max a few times. His heavy sigh didn't help with any of the tension and the nerves.
He studied my eyes again. I don't know exactly what he was looking for. Genuine feelings? Desperation? I had no idea.
His eyes turned back to Max one more time. Max's hand was still sitting out in front of him.
My dad took a deep breath before reaching out and shaking his hand. I tried to keep myself from letting out a shaky sigh as he did. After muttering something in Max's ear, my dad walked back over to my mom.
"What did he say," I asked.
"I think he offered a very colorful threat on my life."
I chuckled. "Could've been worse."
"Not like I'll have to worry about it," he shrugged. He leaned over and whispered in my ear. "Not planning on losing you anytime soon."
I bit my lip as he leaned back to smile at me.
"I love you," I muttered to him.
He pecked my lips. "I love you too."
Just as quickly as things could go wrong, things could go absolutely perfectly.

I'll try with a Floyd request. Figure Floyd does male Yuu some small favor and expects one back in return. But to Yuu's shock its a pretty reasonable favor. Floyd really just wants Yuu to come to his basket ball games and practice. Figure it maybe ends with them agreeing to hang out more as friends.

“I wanna go baaack.”
“We won’t come back to the dorm unless you finish studying for the exams that we have next week. The sooner we start, the sooner we’ll be free from this.”
“You sure are a boring henchman.”
Grim groaned as he was dragged inside the library. His last exam results weren’t precisely the best in the class, and now he was facing the consequences.
“Come here and help me get the book from that shelf.” The prefect pointed at a rather high bookshelf for his height. Most of the good books were always out of his reach, so (Y/n) always asked the cat monster to get them for him with magic.
When he wanted to cooperate, of course.
“Get it by yourself, I won’t help you to torture me! I’ll do fine studying by myself.”
“Might I remind you that, in the last test ACE had a better grade than you? Ace, out of all people?”
“I don’t care!”
“Grim, you little…” The prefect groaned, already feeling stressed out by Grim’s behavior.
“Uh~ Shrimpy looks as cute as always while being angry! Did someone bother you~?”
(Y/n) could easily recognize that voice, so there was no surprise when he spotted Floyd Leech walking towards him.
“Not really. I’m just trying to make Grim study for History of Magic, but I can’t reach the bookshelf and he won’t collaborate with me.” He explained, sighing.
“That’s no problem! Which one is it?”
“The book with the golden cover…Yeah, that one.” The prefect nodded as the Octavinelle student took the large tome that professor Trein recommended in their last class. “Thank you so much, Floyd!”
“Sure thing. Hope you have fun studying with Baby Seal~” He smiled at Grim, who looked daggers at him. “But Azul always says that when you do a favor to someone, they have to do the same, or something like that. So, you owe me, Shrimpy!” He said with an unusual cheerfulness, as he left the library.
“Sorry?” The prefect asked out loud, mostly for themselves, as the second-year student wasn’t there anymore.
“YOU OWE A FAVOR TO THAT EEL? HENCHMAN WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!”
“I DIDN’T THINK ANYTHING AT ALL!”
“WHAT IF HE WANTS OUR DORM IN RETURN?”
“CALM DOWN.”
They both stared at each other, trying to regain their serenity, as the prefect sat down in the chair in front of Grim’s seat.
“Everything will be alright, as long as we avoid him, alright? We’ll have to be careful, but we have to succeed if we don’t want to end up working at the Monstro Lounge until our fourth year.”
“This is horrible, (Y/n). Maybe we should go back to the dorm, just to make sure he doesn’t invade our house-”
“Don’t you dare to believe we’re gonna leave so easily. I took the biggest risk of my life to get this book, so you better study the entire thing and get the best grade in the class.” Dramatically said the first-year student.
“You ask for too much, henchman.”

The Ramshackle duo was capable of successfully evading the Leech twin for a week. They had to run, eat their lunch in the middle of the gym instead of the cafeteria, ask their first-year friends to report which hallways were clear, and avoid going outside their dorm for nothing that wasn’t strictly necessary.
The Octavinelle students were not people to mess around with, and even less when it came to the unpredictable Floyd.
But it was clear that the prefect’s success wouldn’t last forever.
“Hey (Y/n)! Would you mind helping me to take this to the gym?” Ace suddenly called him as he made his way back to his dorm.
“Sure.”
They quickly arrived at the gym, where some of the members of the basketball club were already setting everything for their practice of that day.
"I thought Jamil was also part of this club?"
"Ah, yeah, but the captain asked him to go look for-"
Ace suddenly froze, an alarmed expression on his face.
"Ace? Who is he looking for? Hey, Ace-"
"C'mon Sea Snake, I already said I don't feel like practicing!"
'I'm sorry' was what Ace's gaze silently fried to say to the prefect, who just stood in his place, thinking if he didn't move, he wouldn't be noticed by the Octavinelle second-year.
Maybe if he tried to leave quietly...
"Oh? Who's that…? Shrimpy? Hiii."
Nevermind.
"Hi, Floyd." The prefect tried to play it cool, a stiff smile appearing on his face. “It’s very nice to see you, but I gotta go, good luck on your practice-"
"Ya won't stay?"
"No, I've got a lot of homework to do, and... I left Grim unsupervised at the dorm, yeah. I have to go to take care of him, duties of a prefect and stuff." He tried to walk away, but he was stopped by a sudden grip on one of his wrists.
"But practice is already too boring! Stay~~."
"Floyd I can't-"
"Have you already forgotten you owe me a favor?" The Octavinelle student changed his demeanor all of a sudden, a scary expression replacing the previous smile he had. (Y/n) had to avoid letting out a squeal at the sight of the darkened mismatched eyes that seemed to gaze directly at this soul.
“O-of course not, Floyd. If it’s for the favor, I can stay, don’t worry.” He answered, another tense smile being formed by his features.
“Yay! Come sit here, you’ll see how cool I am at playing.”
One hour later, the prefect could be seen noticeably more relaxed, as he watched the team practice for their next match. Floyd would regularly come to his spot on the bench, to point out something he did good, or sulking because he made a mistake. It was quite adorable, if he ignored that he was there after almost being threatened by the eel.
“You should come more often, prefect. It’s been a pretty long time ever since the last time I saw Floyd acting peacefully at practice.” Ace said as they finished cleaning the gym.
“He was acting peacefully today? How does he act usually then?” He asked, a little shocked.
“You don’t wanna know, I assure you.” The Heasrtlabyul student sighed. “But we have our next game in three days, maybe you should go.”
“I don’t know, Ace, I’ve been very busy lately-”
“But you’ll go either way, right~? I don’t think you want to refuse to repay me for the favor I did to you, Shrimpy.” Floyd suddenly appeared behind him, almost giving him a heart attack.
“Floyd! But I thought I already returned the favor by staying here?”
“Didn’t ya hear what I said before? I want you to come to all of my practices and games.” The second-year pouted, feeling annoyed that (Y/n) didn’t pay attention to him.
“Did you say that…?” The prefect questioned, mostly for himself. But at the sight of Floyd’s irritated face, he thought it was better to pretend that he heard it. “Ah, of course you said it, sorry. I’ll see you at your next game then?”
“Sure~ You’ll see how great I am once I win that match!”
The team actually lost.
The prefect couldn’t avoid chuckling at the sulking form of the moody second-year, who remained angry in a corner of the gym, as he looked quite childish.
“You did good Floyd.”
“I did, but those stupid morons kept getting in my way, they were lame.” He glared at the students from the other school, who felt intimidated by the angry look of the eel, even from afar.
“Uh…Maybe you’ll feel better if I invite you to eat ice cream?” The prefect asked with a quiet demeanor.
“Sure!! Let’s go Shrimpy~!!” Floyd’s mood suddenly improved, as he caught (Y/n)’s wrist to drag them out of the gym, without bothering to change his basketball uniform before leaving.
The Ramshackle student laughed loudly at the behavior of the Octavinelle student, as they let him guide through the city, looking for an ice cream store.
Maybe Floyd wasn’t so bad as others said, after all.

Angel of God, My Guardian Dear Chapter 16: Reader
Rating: Explicit (18+, MINORS DNI)
Pairing: Matt Murdock x F!Reader
Story Summary: While speaking at a local school for visually impaired youth, Matt runs into his childhood best friend, with whom he lost touch almost 20 years prior.
Warnings/Tags: Bit of innuendo but nothing really for this chapter.
Word Count: ~1500
A/N: The previous chapter was super short and just filler because I needed something from Matt's PoV, so enjoy this bonus update!
No, no, no… ew, too much white… this one isn't even in Hell's Kitchen… nope, nope… oh wait, what's this?
Y/N paused scrolling through real estate listings as she ran across an absolutely gorgeous 4-story townhouse with a private garden. Oh wow, this is beautiful.
She and Matt had come up with an agreed-upon budget and wishlist for their future shared home the night before and were now looking at listings -- or rather, Y/N was looking at listings and reading them off to Matt while he made stir-fry for lunch.
She scrolled through the photos then took a look at the floor plan. Basement area that Matt could slip in and out of while he's out Daredeviling, private garden, massive kitchen, 4 bedrooms and an office… oh my God, it has a library.
She scrolled down to the listing price and her heart sank. $6.7 million dollars. Fuck.
She sighed.
"No luck with that one?" Matt asked.
Y/N shook her head. "Actually it's the perfect place for us, but there's no way in hell we'd ever be able to afford it. Plus it's a townhouse, not an apartment."
"How much is it?" Matt asked.
"Almost 7 million bucks."
Matt whistled. "Yikes."
"Yeah." Y/N sighed again. "It is beautiful though."
Matt shrugged. "Is there an open house anytime soon? Maybe we can tour it to see if maybe we do want to look at townhouses instead of an apartment?"
Y/N glanced back at the listing. "Um, yeah, actually there's an open house tomorrow afternoon."
"Want to check it out then?"
"Sure, why not." Y/N laughed. "Who knows, maybe I'll actually hate it once I see it."
_______________________________
"Okay, definitely don't hate it," Y/N whispered to Matt as they walked into the open house the next afternoon. "This place is even more gorgeous than it was in the pictures."
"Hi, welcome," the listing agent greeted them. "Come on in. I'm Madison with Harcourt Realty."
"Matthew," Matt said, shaking Madison's hand.
"Y/N," Y/N added. "Nice to meet you."
"Pleasure's all mine." Madison swept a hand around the foyer. "Would you like a tour?"
Y/N nodded and took Matt's hand. "Sure."
"Okay, well this lovely townhome was built in 1899 and measures out at 4,567 square feet if you include the basement -- one of the biggest townhomes in the area -- and it features 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, with an additional garden room and library.  Over here we have a downstairs bathroom and closet, and through here is an eat-in kitchen, a walk-in pantry complete with a wine cooler, and a formal dining room."
Y/N looked around the kitchen area as Madison paused. She could definitely picture herself and Matt making breakfast together after a long night of lovemaking.
Madison continued to the dining room. "And if we keep going, we'll reach the garden room, which has 2 large skylights to let in the natural warmth of the sunshine and opens directly to the back garden."
Y/N and Matt followed him outside.
"Do you folks do a lot of entertaining?" Madison asked.
"Not a ton," Matt replied, "but we do have relatives that come in from out of town. We're actually thinking about expanding our family so we're looking for somewhere with room for our kids to play."
"Ah," Madison said. "Well, you'll have plenty of space for little ones and your out-of-town guests."
He gestured back inside. "Okay, if you'll follow me, we can check out the basement area."
The basement was large and roomy with plenty of storage space and entrances in both the front and back.
"Matt, sweetheart, I think this would be the perfect 'man cave' for you," Y/N said lightly, hinting at the fact that Matt could come and go as Daredevil through the basement.
Matt nodded. "Yeah, I could use this as a workout room."
Madison nodded. "The previous owners also used the space as their home gym. Now, if you're ready we'll head up to the living area."
Y/N and Matt followed Madison back upstairs.
"Here's the formal living room/den," Madison said as they reached the second floor, "and through here is the library."
Y/N sucked in a breath as they stepped into the library. Definitely gotta add lots of bookshelves to the must-have list for whatever place we choose.
Matt gave her hand a squeeze. "I know which room will be your favorite," he said with a grin.
Y/N huffed out a laugh. "Well of course."
Madison then led them upstairs once again to the spare bedrooms. "Here are 2 of the bedrooms with a shared bathroom in the middle. The right-side bedroom also comes with a fireplace and walk-in closet while the other bedroom comes with a slightly smaller closet."
Matt hummed. "We'd probably want to take the fireplace out of this room. Wouldn't want the kids playing with it."
Y/N nodded. "Yeah, I agree."
"Okay, one more floor." Madison led them to the stairs once more. "Here we have a walk-in closet right outside the primary bedroom and to the right over here is a bedroom with its own attached bath, and finally another bedroom that can be used as another walk-in closet or a small office."
Y/N grinned and turned to Matt. "This can be your office, I'm taking the library as mine."
Matt chuckled. "I wouldn't expect anything less, angel."
"Do you mind me asking what you do for work?" Madison asked.
"I'm an attorney," Matt replied, "and Y/N is a librarian."
Madison nodded with a chuckle. "Ah, well, that makes sense then. Now over here is the primary suite…"
Y/N marveled over the size of the primary bedroom and eyed the large walk-in shower in the primary bathroom with envy. Definitely could have some fun with Matt in here, she thought.
She turned towards Matt, who was smirking as if he could read her thoughts. "What?"
Matt just shook his head. "Just that we were probably thinking the same thing."
Madison gestured back towards the hallway. "Okay, shall we head back downstairs?"
Y/N nodded. She knew that she and Matt were just touring the townhouse basically for shits and giggles, but it was becoming increasingly difficult to not immediately go rob a bank so that they could afford it. "This is lovely."
Matt nodded. "We'll have to discuss some things and get back with you."
Madison nodded as well. "Well here's my card in case you have any questions, but if you decide to place an offer I wouldn't wait because I feel like this place is going to go fast."
"Yes, thank you so much for the tour," Y/N said. "We'll be in touch."
"Have a nice day," Matt added.
Y/N took Matt's hand as they left.
As they walked back down the steps to the street, Y/N sighed. "Feel like going rob a bank with me so we can buy this place?"
Matt chuckled. "You liked it that much, huh?"
"Matty, it's perfect. It has everything we want in our forever home." Y/N shook her head. "I really don't think we'll find anything even remotely like it in our price range, so if we want to stay in Hell's Kitchen we might have to start looking at renting a 3-bedroom apartment, maybe a 4-bedroom if we're lucky and find a place with bedrooms the size of closets."
Matt pressed a kiss to the side of her head. "I'm sorry, angel."
Y/N shook her head. "It's not your fault."
"We'll keep looking, okay?"
Y/N nodded. "Okay."
Suddenly Matt's watch beeped. "Oh, shit, I forgot I was supposed to go meet Foggy at the office to go over our strategy for the Donnetto arbitration tomorrow."
"Oh, okay. Raincheck on dinner then?"
Matt nodded. "Here, let me get you home first, I'll call Foggy and tell him I'm running late."
Y/N shook her head. "Oh no, sweetheart, you go ahead. I'll just catch a cab back to my place."
"Okay, I'll call you when I'm done and maybe we can have dinner at your apartment? I shouldn't be more than an hour or two."
"Okay." Y/N gave him a kiss. "Love you."
"Love you too. Here, let me get you a cab."
Y/N waited as Matt hailed a cab and opened the door for her. "Thanks, sweetheart."
"No problem, angel. I'll see you later tonight, okay?"
Y/N nodded. "Okay."
"Where we goin', ma'am?" the cab driver asked.
Y/N gave him her address and sat back with a sigh. She hoped she and Matt would find their forever home soon, but it unfortunately wouldn't be this one.

You see Jacob on his phone and yes walk up to him kissing him "hey love" he puts away his phone as he wraps his hands around your hips pulling you into another kiss "hey babe, are you ganna be busy after school?" Shaking your head, Jacob gives a cocky smile "wanna come over after school, Evie will be out with Greenie" you give him a nod as he just holds you and you lay your head on his chest
The bell ringings, you and Jacob gave each one more kiss before walking to go to class. You take your set sitting next to Caroline,Edward girlfriend. You enjoy her company and y'all talk a lot just so class can go by quickly "hey Caroline, how are you?" You smile at her "I'm good, but are you going to the dinner date with all the other girls?" Shaking your head no "Haha no I wish but I don't really have a date to go with" giving her a awkward smile that you're still single "Aw that's right, you really need to get with someone it's just sad yn" you laughed and shaked your head "yeah I know, but I'll find someone at some point" you said as you grab a paper that you need to give to a teacher before you forget to turn it in "ohh I forgot mine at home, when is the paper due?" She said looking little bit nerves "Uh I think tomorrow, so you should have time to get the paper in" getting up from your set and turning the paper in the ben you walk back to your set taking your phone out and texting Jacob

You

Jacob
"Ok where?"
You
"Southside?"
Jacob
"Ok"
Putting your phone away as the teacher walks in, and class starts
After class
In the hallway putting your english language book in your locker, Sofia and Elise run up to you "was there a point into y'all running to me like there was a fight?" You ask rolling your eyes playfully "No but are you busy for lunch?"quickly you made up a lie "Yes, I'm going to the library to get ready for a test" you smile "See I told you Sofia" Elise rolls her eyes "what can I not get ready for a test?" You asked as you close your locker walking to your next class and they walk with you "you can, but can I study with you?" Sofia asked and you quickly try to come up with another excuse "Sofia I need to focus on this test it's really important to me I'm sorry but maybe next time" you walks off into your class "They are definitely hiding something we aren't seeing Sofia" Elise says looking at Sofia "I kinda thought so, I mean they always enjoy when I study with them I'm like there study buddy" Sofia said a little sad "yeah you are.. Hm maybe we should watch yn a little bit more careful now" Sofia looks at her with a small idea "we could spy on her" Elisa gave her that smile "Oh so we are spying on other people now?" Avaline came up behind the two other girls giving them a little scary "holy shit Avaline you can't just do that to us" Elise said pushing her a little Avaline just laughs, Sofia just shakes her head as she looks at her phone receiving a text from her boyfriend Ezio "How does Claudia feel about your dating her brother?" Avaline asked "oh she doesn't mind she only cares if Ezio treats me right" she smiles "Kinda though so"
In the boys locker room
"Damnn that's right your single as fuck"Ezil laughs "Shut the hell up Ezio" Jacob said as he rolles his eyes yeah everyone thinks that he's single even though he's not, its secret that he's dating you. His sister Evie Frye made everyone in the friend group to not hook up with her brother and everyone agreed Claudia tried to do the same but that didn't work, Sofia got to her brother before Claudia could put that rule down. "Chill Jacob I'm just saying, you need to get a girlfriend at some point" Ezio snickered as he's was putting his gym clothes on "I don't need one, I'm to focused on school" the whole locker room goes quite until Arno speaks up "I'm sorry, what? You focus on school your the definition of fuck this school, and oh sorry I don't understand school and I don't need too" everyone start to laugh at the comment that Anro made "it's ok Jacob someone with come around" Henry says to Jacob as he walks out of the locker room and too the gym. Jacob just filled with angry he tries to push it away for now and puts his gym clothes on walking out of the locker room to the gym
After athletic and back in the locker room
"Yk I could hook you up with someone from another school if you interested" Altair says to him and Jacob just shrugs "I'm with someone already, I just don't talk about them that much" folding his gym cloths and putting them in his locker "UH SINCE WHEN?" Ezio looks to Arno "WHO?!" Arno and Ezio says in pure shook "yall don't need to know that part" Jacob says as he walks out of the locker room pissed off enough with them. He pulls out his phone and looks at the picture between you and him "I wonder if I could get one of those picture of us" he says to himself as he waits for the bell to right "You think we piss him off?" Arno asked Ezio watching him do his hair "nah he's a pussy sometimes, he'll be fine"
ᨏᨐᨓ time skip to lunchᨓᨐᨏ
Waiting where you normally with for Jacob to pick you up in his car, looking at your phone Jacob pulls up "hey beautiful" he gets out of the car and walks to the passenger side kissing your cheek and opening the door "aw thank you baby" you get in and he walks back over getting in and driving off to get lunch "you know some of the girls are getting suspicious of me"
"Really?"
"Yeah, what are we ganna do?"
"I guess be more careful the both of us, i said something to the guys telling them I was with someone, it was in the heat of the moment and it just spilled out"
"Are you serious?" You were a little mad at him for what he said to the guys "yes I'm sorry I didn't say who but we should be careful" you only just sighed and went on your phone "are you mad at me now?"
"No"
"Yes you are, by that tone of yours your using you are mad"
"No I'm not Jacob"
"You won't be mad at me when you're screaming my name tonight, we will have the whole house to ourselves so you don't need to be quite" Jacob says at he puts his hand on your thigh, feeling your face heat up you only just slap his hand "we'll see about that Jacob" he only laughs and continues to drive "Oh baby, I know you will" your whole face was just red
✧༺♡༻✧
After you and Jacob were done eating you need to clean your self up a little" Ill be back, I need to go to the bathrooms" getting up out of your set and walking to the bathroom Jacob waits a few minutes, before he throws away y'alls trash and walks to the bathroom pulling up a sign saying
'out of order' then walks in. Grabbing you by your waist and kissing your neck "Jacob, how the hell did you get in here without getting caught by someone?" You asked trying to push him away yet he just keeped kissing your neck as his hands wonder your body "J-jacob, not here" he didn't listen as he just keeped kissing your neck. He slowly starts to button your shirt a little exposing your chest, one of his hands squeezes your breast and a soft moan escapes your lips "j-jacob please not here"
"I wasn't ganna do it here, I did want to finish you after school"
"Oh ok, Wait what??" You look at yourself in the mirror as Jacob is still kissing your shoulders and neck "you heard me darling" your face goes red as he gave a low chuckle and continues to leave a couple hickeys on your body
"Will I be able to hide these later?" No answer he just continues to kiss and suck on your neck "you should be" he says finally, one of his hands starts to play with your clothed clit a little "f-fuck Jacob, not here" you push him away and he just laughs. Fixing your clothes he's just watching you "your so beautiful you know that?" Blushing a little you gave a nod "use your words baby" you give him a smirk "Yeah I know" "Good girl"
~back at school and time skip~
Having three more class left you are still bit red from what happened at lunch with your boyfriend, you have been trying to cover up your neck as best as possible without trying to be so suspicious it was working for some people and others just kinda knew what you were hiding, like come on his high school everyone knows others people business without saying anything, but it was a good things you're friend group didn't suspect anything yet
~End of school~
Sitting at one of the tables outside waiting for Jacob, you are working on some stuff it was all nice and quite until Evie walks up to you. You don't really mind her tho "Hey Yn,I need some help for tonight.... like what to wear" gasping a little on what she just said "Oh my, is the Evie Frye asking me for help?" Laughing a little she gives you a playful hit in the arm "Please Yn, I just need help" you calm yourself down from laughing "Ok ok, you house?" Evie nods"Yes"
"Ok, uh just wait here for a second, I need to use the bathroom" Evie nods as you speed walk away to the 'bathrooms', you find Jacob and he pulls you by the hips pressing a kiss to your lips ofc you kiss him back but you end up pulling away "babe, your sister wantes me to help her what to wear so I'll just meet you at your house" you said as you kiss him again and ran off. You could have just texted him but you wanted to see him and feel his lips again, it's not like you wouldn't tonight though
─────────ೋღ♡ღೋ──────
Helping Evie what to wear, Jacob was next door playing his video games and yes you were trying to get this done with but Evie wanted you to do her makeup and hair, so reluctantly you agreed and so here you were doing her makeup and hair "Why are you panicking this isn't your first time, I mean I know y'all do this a lot" rolling your eyes "I know but I always get somewhat nervous" smiling softly to yourself "Why, don't you always have fun?" Evie giving a smile back "I do, but I just want to make Henry happy" you look at her in the mirror "You do every time he sees you" Evie blushes a little not even noticing that detail. When you finish with her hair you both walk out the door together "are you going home after this?" You shake your head no as you open the door "the teacher in me and Jacobs biology class she asked me if I can help him so I agreed" you signed a little and Evie laughs "good luck girl he's stubborn" you smile and hug your friend bye as Henry waits for her. When they both drive off and you can't see them anymore you walk back in the house closing the door behind you and locking it you go up to Jacobs door
Walking to Jacobs room seeing him shirtless starting to wonder if he is always like that when hes playing his video games.. oh well "Jacob, Shes gone" Jacob then looks at you with a smirk as he turns off his console and walks up to you pinning you up to the door as he kisses your lips and you put your hands around the back of his neck. His hands wonder your body feeling up your breast and squeezes them a little, making a soft moan slip out, Jacobs locks the door as he picks you up by your thighs, making you wrap your legs around him as he walks to his bed still kissing you. He lays you down one his bed with your hands rubbing up and down his back as he takes off your clothes "Oh how I miss this" Jacob says as feels how wet you are down there he press his thumb against your panties with a moan leaving your mouth " j-jacob don't tease me please" he looks at you while he starts to finger you "And if I do?" Stumbling all over your words as you feel his fingers in you "p-please don't" you were able to get out making him just laugh as he goes faster and you grab onto the bed sheets moaning "thats not a good answer darling"
"W-what else do you w-want me to say?" Still stumbling over your words from his fingers in you "a good reason why I shouldn't tease the fuck out of you" he smirks "Y-your such a dick"Jacob adds another finger making you moan "wrong answer" He's so good with his fingers, I can't even think anymore with your mind starting fog up and you almost right there to having your orgasm yet you try to hold it in but with Jacob making it harder too "F-fuck your ganna make me cum Jacob" you look at him with pled "Hold it" you only looked at him and rolling at your eyes for having you making you hold your orgasm "why do you have to be a brat?" He said as his fingers go a little deeper in you, with you trying to close your legs from too much pleasure Jacob opens them a little bit to rough with making you cum on his fingers "you just made it so much harder on yourself" you giggle a little "Oh no how I want you to fuck me and show me no mercy" you said to him and Jacob starts to take off his pants along with his boxers and slam right into you making you moan loudly "damn baby your tight" Jacob moaned into your neck a little as he starts to move, stretching you out making you moan over and over "j-jacob it hurts"
You look at Jacob and the only thing his says is "you'll adjust" as he continues to move in and out of you, you're moans just spill out of your mouth, starting to be a brat to him, it slowly just makes it worse for you "y-your such a asshole j-jacob"  slurred out from the per pleasure he was giving you, as his dick just runs in and out of you. Placing marks on him that only you two will be able to see god you can't just get enough with him, as Jacob hits your sweet spot your phone starts to ring as you look over to see Evie is calling "J-jacob it's your sister" you look at Jacob as the two of you make eye contact "answer it" Jacob, gives you the phone and he answers it for you and you take the phone trying not to moan as Jacob still fucks you
You
"Hello?"
Evie
"Hey Yn,are you still at my house?"
You
"Y-yeah I'm trying t-to help j-jacob
Evie
"Ah ok well can you tell Jacob to do the dishes"
Jacob only was making it harder for you  not to moan, yet you were trying hard to keep it in as Jacob hits your sweet spot over and over
You
"H-hey Evie I n-need to let you g-go"
ending the call and you let out a moan as Jacob goes faster "f-fuck I'm ganna cum" as he pushes you over again you cum on his dick and Jacob pulls up cumming on your leg, Jacob goes down to you and kisses you as you kiss him back, Jacob pulls away and lays down pulling you close and pulls the blankets over you two as he compliments you seeing how good you are and how pretty you are until you fall asleep. Once you do Jacob wasn't tired just yet so he was just looking through social media on his phone looking through Instagram, tiktok, Snapchat and Twitter as he was looking through Twitter he sees couples and pictures together, Jacob looks at you and then he gets a idea. He opens Snapchat and starts to take pictures of you two then he puts it in his eyes only going to sleep for the night
☕︎︎Morning☕︎︎
Still sleeping, you wake up to a loud banging at the door you wake Jacob, man he can sleep eventually you're able to get him to wake up "JACOB OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR" his twin sister was back home "I-in a minute dear sister" you jump out of bed and grab your clothes going under your boyfriends  bed, probably one of the worst place to hide but it was the only thing you could come up with in the second, as Jacob puts on his clothes and answers the door he is greeted with his twin piss off sister "I fucking told you to do the dishes and Yn even told you Jacob" Evie punchs him in the stomach and Jacob holds his stomach in pain, as Evie was about to walk out she sees condoms in the corner of her eye "Jacob, did you have company over? and are they still here?" Evie then starts to walk around his room "get out of my room Evie" the younger twin say's as the older one continues walk around his room "I'm just asking a simple question dear brother"
"Yeah and I'm saying to get out of my room dear sister" she only scoffed at that request as she picks up his phone "if your not hiding anything can I go through your phone" looking down at her brother as he's sitting on the floor in front of you, you slowly start to panic "no because that's a evasion of privacy dear sister" Jacob gets up and snatches the phone out of the older twins hand "you are hiding something Jacob, I will find out so be careful" Evie walks out of his room and Jacob close the door and locks it with you getting out from under the bed "we are so screwed when she finds out" putting your pants on as Jacob looks at you "yeah we are"

Year Two: The Dueling Club
Tumblr media
Chapter List WC: 1,931
17th December, 1992, Thursday
Violet had been given a note to excuse her from classes for the day, but by lunch time, she was bored out of her mind in the hospital wing. Madam Pomfrey agreed to let her leave, so long as she tried to avoid stressful situations for the time being. Violet wanted to respond that it wasn't like she went looking for stressful situations, they just happened to find her, but she didn't want to be rude to the healer, as she'd been nothing but kind.
After stopping by her dorm to drop of the vase of flowers and grab her bag, Violet arrived at the Great Hall with just enough time to eat. Her entire friend group, Caroline excluded, pounced with questions before she'd even had the chance to sit down.
"I'm alright!" She sighed, loading up her plate, "I was sick, that's all. I slept the entire time, nothing exciting happened."
"We were so worried!" Aimee leaned her head on Violet's shoulder, "We woke up and you were gone. No note, nothing."
"I'm really sorry," She apologized again, looking at Aimee, Hannah, and Cedric, "I woke up in the middle of the night not feeling well. I didn't think it would such an issue."
"Not an issue," Cedric corrected kindly, "But with the recents attacks, maybe don't vanish without a trace?"
Violet laughed, "Alright, if it happens again, I'll let someone know. Can I eat in peace now?"
Hannah and Aimee took turns catching Violet up on what she'd missed in class the day before, as well as giving her the homework the professors had provided. They'd only had Transfiguration, D.A.D.A, Charms, and Herbology. Herbology was the only class she was sad to have missed, though Transfiguration was a close second.
She was sort of glad to have missed Professor McGonagall; their encounters had been slightly awkward and unnerving ever since the start of the year. Every time Violet was near the professor, she felt like she was being watched, but she couldn't figure out why. Why did the professor have such an interest in her? What was she expecting to see, staring at Violet so frequently?
Violet had mentioned it to her friends, but none of them ever seemed to notice it. She wasn't afraid by any means, she knew the professor meant no harm. She just wanted to know why.
She only had two classes after lunch- History of Magic and Charms, with a free period in-between.
When she got to History, she sat her bag at her usual seat with Aimee and Hannah, then moved across the room to the Slytherin tables. She stopped in front of Draco, a gentle smile curving her lips.
Draco looked up at her, surprised. Then his eye got the single flower clipped in her hair.
"I didn't get the chance to thank you." Was her greeting.
He nodded. He didn't know what to say, and even if he did, with all the first-year Slytherins staring at him, he wasn't sure he'd have to courage to say anything.
Her smile fell at his silence, "Right... I'll just go now."
Draco's hand snapped around, grabbing her hand before she could step away, "Meet after class? Our usual spot?"
Violet stared at her hand in his. It wasn't an intimate gesture, but still, her entire arm was tingling. "Hm? Yes, yeah, alright."
She returned to her seat then, as Professor Binns had begun his lesson.
▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
After another boring History lesson, Violet was excited to meet Draco in the library. Her friends weren't thrilled that she was already leaving them, but they were much more understanding than before. They could see that, while they didn't like Draco, Draco and Violet were slowly becoming important to each other.
Violet and Draco walked together to the library in silence. They both made a point to ignore all the other students that stared at them as they passed by. The only time she had a second thought about it was when they passed Cedric, who was glaring daggers at Draco.
When they made it to their usual table, Draco took up the seat next to Violet. He dropped his bag on the table and pulled out the D.A.D.A homework from the previous day.
He handed the parchment to Violet, who was trying to not think about how close they were, "Here, you can copy mine, if you want. It's just stupid questions about himself again."
"Of course," She rolled her eyes, taking the parchment, "Thanks."
While she quickly copied down his homework, Draco's focus remained on her. He wasn't ashamed to openly stare at her anymore. He didn't know what had gotten into him; whether it was the residual fear he'd had yesterday over her disappearance, or his newfound honesty policy in relation to her, he was done hiding himself. He just hoped it wouldn't scare her away.
She slid his parchment back to him as she finished her final sentence, "You were right. Every question is about himself. How self-centered can the man be?"
"Very, apparently. I'm not entirely convinced all these stories are true. Or, if they are, that they actually happened to him."
"I've been saying that all year!" Violet laughed, finally looking up. She was taken aback by how intense Draco was focusing on her. It was as if nothing else existed, only her, "You alright?"
He jerked back, coming back to himself, "Yeah, sorry. You coming to dueling club tonight?"
"Coming to what?!"
"Oh, right- Professor Lockhart mentioned in class yesterday that he's starting a dueling club. It's this evening after dinner. A lot of people have signed up already."
"Huh," She shrugged, "Guess I'll go then. Maybe we'll have a chance to duel, prove who's the better wizard."
Draco laughed. Violet stared in awe as he threw his head back. It was extremely rare for Draco to laugh, much less so wholeheartedly.
"Ha! We both know it'll be me, but don't worry, I'll go easy on you."
"As if!" She smacked his arm jokingly, "We both know I'll win. And I definitely won't go easy on you."
"Noted." He nodded, smiling broadly. Another rarity. Violet felt like she needed to capture this moment in her mind, scared that Draco's newfound openness wouldn't last.
The rest of the hour was spent like that, laughing and joking. By the time Violet got to Charms that afternoon, her cheeks hurt from smiling so much. It didn't go unnoticed by her friends, but neither Hannah or Aimee mentioned it. They were worried, still distrustful of Draco, but they were glad to see their friend so happy.
▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
After dinner, many students stayed behind to attend the dueling club. All of the tables and benches were cleared out of the room, except for one table, which spanned the entire length of the Great Hall. Most of the professors had left, not wanting to witness the dramatic spectical that was about to occur.
The students gathered around the table as Professor Lockhart walked along it, speaking to them, "Gather round, gather round! Can everybody see me?"
The hall quieted as everyone turned their focus to the man in front of them.
"Can you all hear me? Excellent. In light of the dark events of recent weeks, Professor Dumbledore has granted me permission to start this little Dueling Club to train you all up in case you ever need to defend yourselves, as I myself have done on countless occasion. For full details, see my published works."
Violet sighed, looking around at the students to gauge their reactions. Many of them were rolling their eyes, but more were wholly focused on Lockhart. He unsnapped his cloak at threw it into the crowd, several girls gasping loudly and giggling as it landed on them.
"Let me introduce my assistant, Professor Snape!" Lockhart held out a hand towards the end of the room, where Snape was stepping up onto the table. All the students stared at him, "He has sportingly agreed to help me with a short demonstration. Now, I don't want any of you youngsters to worry."
Violet sighed again, earning an elbow to the ribs from Hannah. Violet couldn't believe so many girls were still infatuated with Lockhart.
"You'll still have your Potions Master when I'm through with him. Never fear."
The two professors met at the center of the table, taking up the dueling stance before turning and walking five paces away. They faced each other again, raising their wands. Lockhart gave a count of three before Snape cast the first spell.
"Expelliarmus!"
Lockhart went flying back, landing on his back. The crowd of students gasped, many laughing.
When Lockhart got to his feet, he marched back to the center, "An excellent idea to show them that, Professor Snape, but if you don't mind me saying, it was pretty obvious, uh, what you were about to do. And if I had wanted to stop you, it would've been only too easy."
Snape replied with his usual bored tone, "Perhaps it would be prudent to first teach the students to block unfriendly spells, professor."
A moment of silence, then, "An excellent suggestion, Professor Snape! Well, let's have a volunteer pair." Lockhart looked around the room, but before hands could go up, he continued, "Um, Potter, Weasley, how about you?"
Violet looked around the room for the named pair. Harry was already on his way out of the crowd when Snape interrupted, "Weasley's wand causes devastation with the simplest spells. We'll be sending Potter to the hospital wing in a matchbox. Might I suggest someone from my own house?"
Violet didn't particularly like Ron Weasley, but she would've happily jinxed or cursed Snape for the way he called out the poor boy. It wasn't his fault he couldn't afford a new wand, even though he was the one that broke it in the first place. Snape's next words only made Violet like him less.
"Malfoy, perhaps?"
"Oh, for Godric's sake." Violet muttered under her breath.
"What's wrong?" Aimee asked.
"Harry and Draco hate each other. There's no way this ends well."
Violet had very little hope that she would be proven wrong. The way Draco stalked towards Harry only increased her concern.
"Scared, Potter?" He spat, glaring at Harry as they took up their positions.
"You wish." Harry shot back.
As they walked their five paces and turned to face each other, Violet lost all hope of this not ending with one of them seriously injured.
Lockhart didn't even finish his count of three before Draco shouted, "Everte Statum!" Sending Harry flipping backwards several meters.
The Slytherins around the room laughed, while some other houses chuckled or gasped.
"Draco!" Violet hissed, but he either ignored her or didn't hear her, as he smirked in triumph.
Harry quickly got back to his feet, hitting Draco with Rictusempra. The spell was a tickling charm, but perhaps with Harry's ill intentions, it send Draco flying backwards too.
Now the entire crowd laughed.
"I said, disarm only!" Lockhart warned both boys as they got back into the dueling stance, their wands pointed at the other.
Draco shouted, "Serpensortia!" and a snake flew out of the tip of his wand. It hissed as it slithered towards Harry.
"Don't move, Potter." Snape's tone held a bit of mock pity as he pushed Draco aside and moved towards Harry, "I'll get rid of it for you."
"Allow me, Professor Snape." Lockhart responded in a sharp tone, causing Snape to stop walking. Lockhart stepped in front of Harry, "Alate Ascendare!"
Whatever Lockhart's intention was, he only managed to anger the snake by sending it up in the air and slamming back down onto the table. Now the snake was hissing fervently, looking out at the crowd.
Harry slowly stepped forward, then started hissing at the snake. Except... No, Violet realized, he wasn't hissing. He was speaking another language.
