Tsudere /sub Jax that pretends to hate the reader but does things to secretly be with them x a fem happy but smart Uzadere that loves being in the circus.She loves adventures,animals,cute things,fighting,food ect! lots of energy too but can be pretty insensitive and a little selfish with a little crush on jax. I feel like at first jax would completely reject liking her then he would be extra mean,then Maybe subconsciously know he likes her amd hates the feeling lol. cus he copes by trying to not have feelings and tries to act "tough". its pretty obvious that the reader is in love with him but his dumb ass cant catch on . She gives lots of compliments which makes him flustered and mad ( he is mad bc he thinks nobody likes him that much, he is mean to her to make her go away but it doesn't work ) but he pretends not to care. the reader would definitely confesses first tho. Sorry for such a long request its just that not many people write jax in this sorta way so i had to be detailed lol. also if you don't wanna use female pronouns you can make it non gender ofc 😅tysm for even reading such a long thing! and you don't have to do this at all lr you can switch it up. Lil backstory : When You first got here it was around 7 months before pomni gets into the circus. your reactions to seeing all the supposed people was terrifying u were laughing your brains of since u thought it was all just a big prank but once u realized it was real u were just stunned. I mean u were still amazed like wow i'm in a virtual reality type of reaction. And about what u look like idk that up to yourself but lets say Ur like a type of animal could be a cat or something else. U were always ecstatic to be in the circus and everybody even Caine were surprised. Like it not everyday in this virtual reality u see a person who is more than happy to be there. (also i'm not really gonna add Kaufmo since their is little to no info bout him)

Okay now to the good stuff

So really your weren't stupid to not notice how Jax would occasionally "look ur way to see something else" nor to notice how differently he treated u compared to the others. Either he would go out of his way to be nice or mean to you.

You were chatting bout random nonsense with zooble when she said

"Hey Y/n do you see how much of a dumb### Jax's looks like just looking at you"Looking at you then at Jax then at you.

"no lemme check"You turned around to see jax looking away from you to above you? yea he was doing the "look ur way to see something else" crap again.

"ugh it starting to annoy me" Says Zooble wanting to stand up and start to beat the crap out of Jax but thankfully u stopped her then said

"hey its okay he may be weird and all but we got to be used to this anyway where stuck here"

"but he does like you Y/n we can all see it in his eyes" Says Ragatha entering the conversation

"yea ragatha is right how bout we make a plan to you know um- make him confess he like you" says zooble looking at you waiting for an answer.

Then u spoke up

"Sure i guess but knowing him he would never confess"

"Ugh lets head to my room to discuss the plan" says ragatha getting up

You three walk all he way to the room corridors and enter Ragatha's Room and discus how you would get Jax to confess his feelings to you.

"Okay so how should we do this" says Ragatha with some confusion in her face

"Well we know that Jax is a very Um- how should I say this es stupid and lets just say hes like a little puppy who follows you around" Says zooble before you with shook face say

"WAIT what is that supposed to mean I never see him trailing behind me"

"He does he always trails behind you buts ur either dumb or blind since u never see him literary behind u. ALL THE TIME" Says Zooble

"Well um- we should get started with the plan and stop taking bout how Jax is a little twerp" Says Ragatha with a bit of an annoyed face splatted in her face

"Okay okay well first of all since we know Jax is like a little dog with nothing else to do than follow Y/n we should..........."Says Zooble spilling out what the plan would be about.

Well basically the plan is make Jax follow u around Y/n complements Jax every time he does something for her even the smallest of things like letting u have the first of anything picking up flowers for u,him pranking u and much more.

Everything was going according to the plan Jax being Jax follows you around and sneaks up on you with a centepied (which ur scared of) and lands it right besides u trying to get a scared yelp from u but instead u just threw it away and said

"Jax u little bad bunny don't do that again" while pinching his cheek just slightly

"~wait you aren't mad?" Says Jax while becoming a blushing mess

"no of course not bunny boy come on lets go outside"

you two go outside and jax keeps trying to make your way there horrible by trying to trip ur feet over and over again but failing miserably.

Once you both are by the lake you start to look around and see Zooble and Ragatha watching impatiently.

"So what are we doing here again?" says Jax

"nothing much just .. Taking in some fresh air i guess"

"Y/n there is no fresh air here u know that right?" says Jax with a serious face

"Oh um i meant like ..... space apart of everyone"

"ok i guess then what should we do?" says Jax with a sly smile appearing in his face

"how about we go on the tea cups?"

"whatever you want toots" says Jax

Both spend 2 hours trying all the rides over and over, Jax never saying crap

As the day ends in the digital realm first comes the digital dinner the classic chicken and veggies.

After that, Caine suggested that you all play a quick game, and with no other option, everybody agrees.

HIDE & SEEK

"yay i guess" says zooble clearly annoyed they have to do this activity even tho it is fun she wants her alone

After the game which took around 30 min like damn these dudes have great hiding spots ,Caine gave everybody the green light to finally have there alone time/sleep

"UGH finally" Zooble before walking up to you

"Hey Y/n did Jax say anything to you?" Says Zooble quickly before she forgets about it

"No ... what should we do?"

"Hey idk bout you but i would of totally just make the first move at this point"Says Ragatha walking up to you both of you

"Well she has a point" "bout what?" "bout how you should def make the first move now since his dumb##s won't do S#it"

"okay I'll try but do i have to do it in front of u all or do i wait for everybody to leave?"

"Um okay new plan......." Says zooble making the new plan

Basically make gangle distract Jax long enough for everybody to leave to there rooms then gangle runs away, Then y/n will sneak up on Jax and spill the beans herself.

Everything went accordingly as planed gangle ran away just as she noticed everybody gone. Then Jax shrugs it of and slowly walks up to his room until...

"Hey Jax" "what do you want?" "not much just wanna talk to you...bout something"

"bout what dollfac-"

He says before being interrupted by a kiss

"does that answer ur question?"

"UM what was that?"... bb-but i guess it does"

"that's great! its official were dating"

"Wait WHAT!?" says Jax surprised as hell

"Goodnight Jax!" Says y/n as she gives one last kiss on his cheek

please please please please gawd tell me more about ur pap being the knight theory OR if u would so pls direct me to where u talked abt it before. u have truly GRIPPED me w this

OH GOD I HAVE SO SO MUCH OK. so i DO have the papyrus powerpoint HERE which has a section on that a little more in-depth and i will say i am not the first to come up w this idea but personally it's the only option that makes Complete sense w no holes to me. this is all going off the concept that papyrus is likely younger here bc sans asks kris to hang out w him. my ramblings under a cut bc im about to go fucking CRAZY

the knight, by people that have seen him already, is always referred to w he/it pronouns. papyrus and sans are the only characters that fit the he/it bill (both of them are referred to with it/its in the lost soul fight, nobody else is referred to this way)

there is NO way that kris OR susie could have made the dark worlds in chapter 1 and chapter 2. the dark world had to have been opened AFTER noelle and berdly got to the library (since their books and stuff are open) but BEFORE kris and susie arrived, crossing all of them off potential dark world opener lists. also up until this point kris didn't even Know how to open a dark world

there's the closet in the library that states that "a very large person could easily fit inside". papyrus could have potentially been hiding in there and waiting for others to come to open the fountain. additionally in ut he says that there's no skeletons in his closet- except him sometimes

but then the question of motive comes up. Why would he do that?

so far from what we've seen in deltarune, papyrus is an asocial shut-in. given that the main core of other characters hasn't really been altered, we can also assume what he wants MOST is to feel important and be liked, like in undertale. combining these two aspects leads us to someone who can't bring himself to socialize with others in the real world, but DESPERATELY wants to feel necessary and admired.

the whole deal w the dark world is wish fulfillment, at least as i see it. susie gets a cool outfit with spikes and makes friends, she has her own room with her own style, etc. berdly gets a cool, nerdy sci-fi outfit and is put in charge, and even gets to have a heroic moment towards the end of chapter 2. noelle gets to tell her true feelings to a mother figure and gets to spend time with susie. so if you get what you want most in the dark world, it would make COMPLETE sense for papyrus to not only be spending time in them, but opening more fountains to spend as much time in them as possible.

plus, what have we seen the first two chapters thus far? EVERYONE important and in-charge LOVES the knight. all they do is talk abt him and how awesome he is. double tying in this aspect of wish fulfillment to the weird, perfect nature of hometown- people who didn't really get a chance at life are still alive, everyone is happy, that sort of thing. papyrus is the ONLY main character out of all of undertale that NEVER gets what he wants. every other character gets some sort of completion to their arc, some sort of resolution and closure, they meet their goals, they achieve something. by the end of true pacifist, papyrus doesn't get ANYTHING. his friend count is still stagnant, he never proves himself, or gets any sort of important role (he only becomes the ambassador if you DON'T want to). putting two and two together here, it would make perfect sense for papyrus to finally get his moment- by his own hands.

plus, and this is just a little obvious here, but if you become what you want the most in the dark world, and papyrus wanted to be in the guard- what would you call a member of a royal guard? a knight.

alongside the weird, vague hints that papyrus must have had SOMETHING happen to him in his past and that he wasn't always a great guy (very adamant about how people can change, the "I'M A PRETTY BRUTAL KIND OF GUY" line, the way he admits to you in aborted no mercy that he was going to blast you to smithereens) and we NEVER get resolution/explanation for that (or any of the other weird shit he says [see powerpoint]) i feel like there's just too much setup here for any other option to make sense to me. papyrus is also just very obviously toby's favorite character from ut, he's the only one he ever commissioned art for just to have and he clearly really enjoys writing him and doing stuff w him. anyway ummm im insane :) *grins*

CICADA AGENTS MASTERPOST

bc i keep forgetting that i havent actually put much abt my agents on my tumblr and i need to expose the max number of people to my blorbos as i can

going under the readmore cause this is gonna get longg

(this has been in my drafts for over a month)

CB-808 (agent 8, she/her) and Bubbles (agent 8 AGAIN, a SECOND TIME, CAN YOU TELL EIGHT IS MY FAV, he/him)

they're "twins", meaning they both woke up without any memories, saw that they were the only two nearby who looked similar (being the only non-sanitized octolings in the metro) and assumed that meant they were twins

they do all of the tests in octo expansion as a duo! this makes some tests easier (like girl power station) and others much harder (like the one with the dualie squelchers and the grindrails, since they have to share the weapon between them)

this kinda fucks with the computer systems and all their mem cakes are blended (lmao) together. they have to work together to figure out whose memories are whose, to varying success levels

very very very codependent. theyll get anxious if you take the other to another room where they cant see each other. proto (cap3) convinced them to do one test separately and CB got so worked up she punched the side of the carriage and permanently dented it

they didnt try a second time

ON THE TOPIC OF CB DENTING THE METAL: shes freakishly strong, in an artificially-modified way rather than a very-strong-but-normal way

after the splatoon 1 campaign, elite soldiers deserted en masse since nearly all of them were at the concert/final-battle, leaving a gaping hole in the octarian military. in an attempt to fill that gap as quickly as possible, volunteers were "purposed" to become enhanced super-soldiers

(ill probably make a dedicated post abt it when i remember but "purposing" is what they do to make octarians (the stubby tentacle guys) into all the different forms you see in-game. debateably ethical to begin with, SUPER unethical to do to actual octolings)

im bad at timelining but she signs up to this when she's like,,, 13. still kinda blobby

functionally, what it did to her was make her freakishly strong (she breaks the handles on doors ridiculously often) and about 50% more resistance to enemy ink. girls a tank. however, she has trouble regulating her strength and therefore cant superjump accurately since she overshoots her target every time

it's also super painful. she permanently lost her voice from screaming too much and cant speak any louder than a whisper, but she knows octarian and inklish sign languages so she gets along fine

her name is CB-808 bc that was the serial number printed on a livestock tag in her ear

BUBBLES ON THE OTHER HAND. not physically fucked up. mentally though................

his parents were some of the elites who deserted after hearing the Inkantation (in my headcanons it's something that can be resisted, but only temporarily). he wanted their approval more than anything so them leaving him was devastating

hes not actually a dude he just think he/him is a cool set of pronouns. heard someone say "him" once and absorbed it into his gender

he lied abt his age to become a scout/reconnaisance (how you spell that??), even if nobody was really gonna check given the situation after splat1

where CB is built like a tank, he's tall and lanky, and also scarily smart. combined with his lack of filter he'll literally just stare at you for 5 seconds before saying some shit like "oh i see. youre scared of us because of our competence and your perception of our alleigances compared to urs"

captain 3 is scared by him more than CB. as they should be.

his name is Bubbles because he has circular markings on his upper arms and CB is not very good at coming up with names (shes an amnesiac teenager give her a break)

theyre both 15 during octo expansion, and 20 by splatoon3

after reaching the surface they move in with flora (4) and his roommate bola (oc) to form the Leftovers Squad, an inksports team and maybe-gang

these two are wonderfully terrible influences and teach the two of them how to defy authority n shit, it's great, ill talk abt it more in their specific sections

CB mains the dynamo but plays it like a splat roller because she's so strong she can swing it with about that speed. Bubbles mains the e-liter and has nutty aim. the kind of duo that makes people realize theyre ex-soldiers

both of them are too obedient to authority, leftover habits from the military even if they don't fully remember their time there. CB is much worse in this regard, since she was more heavily conditioned to follow orders and Bubbles is observant enough to realize when theyre being taken advantage of

FLORA (agent 4, he/she used interchangeably)

part of the Leftovers Squad! a young punk squid that revels in rebellion and violence and showing people what's what

almost entirely deaf. he had pretty bad hearing to begin with, but loud raves without ear protection worsened it significantly. his hero headset functions as hearing aids but he doesnt usually wear them unless he's on NSS missions or patrols or w/e

came to inkopolis when she was 14, but it wasnt intentional. her parents were the kind of awful perfectionists that expected their children to be equally as perfect, so decided to leave flora in inkopolis bc she did awful in school

he was taken under Bola's fin (get it it's a fish pun theyre fish im hilarious) and became enamoured with the adrenaline-fueled, bloody-mouthed rush of fighting, in and out of inksports

the best way i can describe her is "violent for the sake of violence and gleeful about it". she starts a fight with someone twice her size just for the fun of attacking and taking a beating. probably something wrong with her. i love her with every fibre of my being

has absolutely zero respect or trust in authority -- especially adults, which includes Marie since she's 19 in splat2 and he's only 16

still goes along with her whole "hey go save the zapfish" spiel because A) she cant actually hear what marie is saying B) marie gave her some free fancy hearing aids so she GUESSES she has to return the favour somehow C) she wants to fight some octarian soldiers D) she wants to steal her own zapfish (she succeeds, it gets a tank in Leftover Squad's living room) and E) she thinks itll be REALLY funny to fuck with marie

shes right btw. its hilarious

she only follows orders when it's funnier than disobeying them. she puts zapfishes back in levels she wants to complete a second time. she teaches octolings how to play poker (and how to cheat at poker). she lets a squee-g splat her "to see what it feels like"

if callie wasn't missing marie would NOT put up with his bullshit, but alas.

respects agent 3 even less than marie, when they meet, since at least marie has a sense of humour

he's the one who suggests that CB and Bubbles move in with him and Bola after Octo Expansion. less out of his own goodwill and more out of a combination of morbid curiousity and a sense of "bola has a habit of taking weird inkfish under their fin, walking in with two soldiers will be really funny"

gets hypnoshaded 5 years post-splat2 (during the splat3 campaign) and has to be rescued by the leftover Leftovers (lmao) and Off the Hook. octavio doesnt really convince her to put them on, theres no realistic way he could do that, so he physically overpowers her and puts the shades on

he gets rescued tho! so it's all good and absolutely no interpersonal issues come from it i swear (lying)

Bola (they/them, not an agent)

another member of Leftovers Squad and, arguably, its leader

is about as comfortable with violence as flora (read: very comfortable) but, unlike him, doesn't enjoy it for its own sake. when they do a violence, it's for a specific aim and a purpose, even if that purpose seems inane or petty

theyre the leader of the leftovers mostly because theyre the only one with a goal or any sort of purpose. also because theyre by far the most charismatic of the bunch but mostly bc theyre the only one with any direction in life. the other three are happy to just help with that

(calling it a purpose is doing it too much justice, it's a grudge. a massive fucking grudge against Squidforce as a brand and an institution and a company. they want that thing obliterated)

when they first came to inkopolis (they were like 12), they werent a citizen of inkadia so they had no ID and weren't allowed to do official Squidforce battles, so they went to unofficial/illegal/unregulated turf wars to make some cash

this got shut down by squidforce

they decided "no. fuck this. fuck you, im gonna fuck every single one of you over, die." and swore vengeance about as dramatically as a then-13 year old could. luckily, bola was a very dramatic, kinda blobby 13 year old

they met flora when he came to inkopolis and introduced him to the concept of You Can Just Fight These People If You Don't Like Them

would have agreed to housing CB and Bubbles if Flora had just asked but this is fine they guess

theyll be the last to admit they have a compassionate streak, but they have a soft spot for the underbelly of inkopolis and everyone who lives there, most of which are underrepresented or downtrodden by the system that squidforce upholds

theyre an octoling but not an octarian (citizen of octaria, the nation that lost the great turf war and now lives in the domes) like CB and Bubbles are

instead, theyre a weird subspecies of octoling that went back in the water while the "normal" species of inkfish stayed on the surface. they still have most of the same features as an inkfish, like the shapeshifting, but have more aquatic adaptations like gills and razor sharp teeth and being able to swim in water unharmed (ik inkfish dying in water is only dubiously canon but for my headcanons normal inkfish dissolve like ingame if they fall into water)

they also have sepiism! better described in this post this means their ink/tentacle colours are limited to blacks and browns. their subspecies is more prone to this colour mutation than other inkfish since black is a pretty good camoflague colour if youre in the deep ocean. idk i wanted an excuse to make them look cool dont think abt it too hard

they absolutely despise proto (captain 3). aint no world where theyd trust the militaristic authority figure that orders around the two ex-soldiers theyre trying to teach how to be independent

not to mention the grudge they form against the captain after the hypnoshading incident that i will elaborate on i PROMISE its in the next section

aFTER I TALK ABOUT THE LEFTOVERS SQUAD AS A WHOLE. IF I CANT ESCAPE THEM NEITHER CAN YOU

when they meet, post octo expansion, the twins are 15 and the punks are 16, so theyre 20 and 21 respectively by the time splat3 rolls around

flora gets squidnapped just after splat3 campaign (which lasts like a day for reasons that will be evident once i get to neo 3 and "little" buddy), so proto and the squid sisters are in alterna monitoring the situation and doing cleanup while it happens. this will be relevant later. foreshadowing is a technique where--

a couple months after the twins move in, CB discovers inksports and makes the biggest saddest puppy dog eyes at the rest of the squad until they agree to making a league team together. it's also called the leftovers

CB and Flora love it because they enjoy physically fighting people (CB likes that she doesnt have to be permanently hurting people during it, Flora would like it better if there was a lil permanent injury tbh). Bubbles enjoys it because his sister enjoys it and also because he enjoys using his big brain to do sick predicts and snipe people from across the map where he's nice and safe. Bola only joins at first because telling the ex-soldier, who theyve been trying to convince that you dont need peoples permission to do things, "no" would be counterproductive. they hate every moment they have to fight in a squidforce battle. but then once the team gets well-known they realise that squidforce cant get rid of them anymore and uses their platform to absolutely troll the shit out of squidforce

like when they go on interviews and stuff they constantly mention how shitty squidforce is and "yeah i personally prefer [smaller organisation]'s inksports, they have way better maps and modes, squidforce just has a monopoly so..." and squidforce cant do shit bc theyre the charismatic face of this popular new team and itd be bad publicity

CB and Bubbles dont have real IDs cause theyre amnesiac teenagers who made up their own names. flora and bola get them fake IDs that claim CB stands for Courtney Blitz, making bubbles into Bubbles Blitz

CB often gets called Clam Blitz. CB does NOT appreciate this. Bubbles thinks it's hilarious and only answers people who call him "Blam Blitz" for like a week

Bubbles mains the E-liter but likes lots of different anchors, CB exclusively plays her "splat roller" (a dynamo swung really fast), Flora learnt how to play every weapon from the splat2 campaign and can play basically anything (but usually goes for something close-range so his bloodlust gets put to good use. heavy weapons tend to turn into bludgeons in his hands) i dont know what bola would use tbh. i wanna say a splatana but this is set mainly in splat2 so they wouldnt have those. if anyone is still reading this far pls make suggestions in the notes 👍

CB and Bubbles dont have any sense of money (in my hcs, the domes work more on a communal property + bartering system) so they have no reason to object to pearl giving them inordinate amounts of money. bola and flora have to have a conversation where they ask whether pearl is their sugar daddy. this is agonising for everyone involved.

they used the money to buy an unreasonably large bed that they all sleep on together bc theyre my ocs i make the rules

i promised it was proto next. here *throws them like a javelin through the screen

Proto (captain 3, they/them)

i shld probably start at the beginning for them bc their actions through all the games are the catalyst for a Lot of plot

they were raised in calamari county, their parents were friends with callie and maries parents so they hung out a bunch when they were kids. basically the third squid sister, though they get way too bad stage fright to become idols like the other two

hanging out with those two so much also meant a lot of exposure to cap'n cuttlefish. proto idolised him to no end, decided they wanted to be just like him when they grew up

when the squisters went to inkopolis to become idols, proto became their manager. they were also recruited alongside callie and marie into the NSS when craig decided to reform it. ive never actually watched a playthrough of splat1 so i dont actually know how the plot works other than "craig is there and then callie & marie are there" so the next part is probably gonna be more canon parallel than canon adjacent

also because im just making up random shit about splat1. thats probably also a factor

in this version of canon, the octarians dont steal every zapfish you grab at the end of the levels, only the ones used for the boss levels. all the rest are ones owned by the octarians, mostly bred in captivity cause where tf else are you gonna get the power for running the domes

proto isnt an active agent in splat1, it's callie and marie who go in and do the fighting while proto is the one coordinating them and making plans. their plan is to steal all these extra zapfish to strain the domes' resources and then perform the inkantation during the final confrontation to make the maximum number of soldiers (especially elites) desert, all so they become incapable of stealing more zapfish or launching a retaliatory strike

and cap'n cuttlefish approves so surely that means that this is a good plan and any suffering caused is a necessary evil and it's not like this paranoid old man has any biases or grudges that would impede his judgement. surely not

side note: instead of inner agent 3, CB and Bubbles have to fight inner agents 1 & 2. inner-callie targets CB and inner-marie targets Bubbles because i think the roller-charger parallel is cool

the plan works! elites and soldiers desert in droves, neutering the octarian military capability, and octaria has to focus what resources it has on not starving (which it barely achieves, theres a famine regardless) rather than attacking back. it also creates the conditions for bubbles' parents to leave him and for CB to undergo the extremely painful and inhumane procedures to become an enhanced supersoldier but proto doesnt learn this til octo expansion

the squid sister stories proceed basically like canon, but proto dedicates themselves to agent work while marie focuses on the radio and callie focuses on acting. theyre out investigating the metro with craig when callie gets squidnapped so they dont find out until octo expansion finishes (like a few weeks after she gets rescued)

SPEAKING OF OCTO EXPANSION. PROTO IS THERE THE WHOLE TIME

they dont fight CB and Bubbles, theyre a terrible fighter and a bit of a wimp (and those two are kinda terrifying), instead they watch when they get overpowered and captured by a squad of sanitized octolings (those two got sent to investigate since people kept vanishing when they went that way). they still get the same "youre down here because of me" guilt since they chose to watch rather than intervene

they later got into the metro proper and found those same people but like super amnesia'd and a little traumatised already, even if theyre not sure how much of that was already there, and then they get even MORE fucked up because the metro is fucking Like That

also guilt bc they dont actually help with the tests beyond advice thru the comms. can never have too much of that

they get CB and Bubbles out of the blender by removing their special limiter and spamming splashdown on the top til it breaks, getting exhausted and passing out afterwards, letting tartar control them

the hole in the ceiling gets made by CB throwing a bit of broken blender really hard

usually they would get their ass kicked by either CB or Bubbles, let alone both at once, but the two of them are so exhausted and fucked up and a little injured that the fight is closer than anyone would like. the fight ends when CB grabs them by the ankle and slams them into the floor. think that one scene from the avengers with the hulk and loki

unfortunately, since CB is way too scared and full of adrenaline to properly regulate her strength, she completely crushes their ankle and lower leg. since it doesnt splat them, they dont respawn, and everyone is too preoccupied with destroying the NILs statue to get them to a hospital, the leg wasnt salvageable and they had to get it amputated below the knee

theyre an ambulatory wheelchair user, after that. sometimes crutches instead, but they tend to go for the chair in alterna bc crutches and ice do NOT mix trust me on this. i only had crutches for a couple months but i fell on my ass SO much

anyway they reconnect with callie and marie and things are fine and good and theyre totally not avoiding the twins because marina kept updating them on relevant files she found during OE and theyre struggling to reconcile the idea that these are enemies with the undeniable truth that nobody has had a greater negative impact on their lives than them.

probably would be worse if marina told them the twins were 15. good thing she doesnt!

oh yeah i forgot ages. proto is 17 in splat1, 19 in splat2/OE and 24 by splat3

anyway yeah in their efforts to avoid the twins so that they dont have to think about the wide-reaching consequences of their past actions, they dont actually leave them with any way to contact them while they go check out the Crater. itll only be a quick mission, right? no need to worry about it

then they and the squid sisters come back to cuttlefish cabin to find it completely empty, then discover that flora is still in the hospital after having the shit kicked out of him because he was hypnoshaded and they didnt have any low-tide ink because marie wasnt there and they couldnt contact her and they tried and they tried and why didnt anyone answer and

theres a big cool dramatic confrontation where CB and Bubbles reveal they got all their mem cakes and know exactly who proto is and what they did and would have forgiven if they had been honest but now they cant trust their captain and formally quit the NSS

honestly theres more stuff for proto after this but i ahvent actually figured it out yet.

personality-wise, theyre overconfident in their own abilities and underconfident in the abilities of everyone else, they struggle to give control of anything over to someone else. because why would they allow someone else to be in charge when they know that their own plans are automatically so much better?

as they learn about the actual consequences of their splat1 plan via CB and Bubbles' descriptions of their mem cakes, this confidence falters a bit. they spent so long with that plan being one of their greatest achievements that they cant reconcile with the reality that it had devastating consequences for innocent people

this is not at all helped by Flora, who makes no secret of his opinion on proto. at first he's just fucking with them for the sake of fucking with them, the same way he does for marie, but it gets more antagonistic when proto reacts with genuine anger rather than the good humour marie does. flora absolutely does not take kindly to people trying to exert authority over her so she aims to piss off proto at every opportunity

they say, “sit up straight,” and, “don’t eat with your elbows on the table”; to drive their point in, they tack on, “your form is atrocious, try again,” with a bit of, “are you truly my child? i have my doubts,” which doesn’t always hurt your feelings, but sometimes it stings a little too hard. and, more importantly, they always make sure to end with, “remember, in life, one must always know their place.”

you just didn’t know that it applied to you too.

stuck in the rut of routine, in the normalcy that is absolutely abnormal, you constantly disrupt your studies by daydreaming of escaping the stuffy confines of your home. you know you have it better than most, know that there are people who would kill — literally — to have even a crumb of the wealth your parents have. it doesn’t matter to you; none of it does. it never has, and possibly never will. on a day where your parents are off doing what nobles do with all of their free time, you sneak away, determined to enjoy the city outside of the tall wall that separates the masses.

as fate would have it, you see a familiar top hot and goggles with a mess of blond curls underneath; your curiosity piqued, you follow after him. you’ve always wondered why he snuck around like that, why he didn’t act like the other children — was he also disgusted with the absurd wealth that the nobles and monarchs hoarded? was he tired of formalities, of the life that was crafted for him without his input? was he also trying to achieve a similar dream as you? your legs carry you as fast as they can — you’re not very good at sneaking, and because he’s used to the journey, he does what he can to shake you off.

still, you’re determined. your stubbornness is the one attribute your parents could never stamp out of you, no matter how hard they tried — and, yes, they have tried. locking you away, not feeding you for days, hoping to quell whatever rebellious spirit you’ve developed — all in vain.

he takes several right turns before taking a left, and then disappears. you stand in the middle of a small clearing, surrounded by tall, thick trees; the sounds of neighboring forest frightening you a bit. you’re not used to wildlife like that, not used to being away from supervision, so this is all very new and exciting in a way. as you try to catch your breath, you never notice the soft footsteps; sabo twists your arm behind your back, eyes narrowed as he starts his interrogation.

“why are you following me? who sent you?” his hold tightens, making you wince, but you refuse to make a noise. lips pressed tightly, you shake your head, hoping he’ll get the hint that you don’t mean him harm. he doesn’t like that; doesn’t like that you aren’t talking, even with him holding you like this. and, because he isn’t inherently cruel, sabo releases you, pointing his weapon at you when you turn around and face him.

recognition shifts his features from accusatory to genuine surprise. “y/n? what are you doing here?” you rub your arm, still confused as to how sabo is able to move as fast as he can.

“i came to ask you the same thing,” you offer simply with a slight shrug of your shoulders. “i’ve always wondered why you always seem so…angry.”

your assertion gives him pause; he knows when he’s around the other nobles, his mask is nearly perfect — rarely are people able to see through the polite facade he puts on. but you, you see him; clearly and resolutely. it makes him uneasy.

“don’t worry, i’m not here to turn you in or anything,” you add quickly, rocking back and forth on your heels.

with narrowed eyes, sabo eventually lowers his weapon, considering your words seriously. “then why are you following me?”

frustrated with his inability to understand, you reiterate your earlier statement. “like i said,” you stomp your foot, “i came t—”

“on second thought, i don’t care. please leave, and don’t tell anyone you saw me here.” his mind made up, he gives you a prolonged look and runs off. it takes you a few hours, but you eventually make it back home, head spinning over the events of the day. your work unfinished, you don’t even blink when your mother barges into your room, yelling in a way that the other socialites in her circle would clutch their pearls over. the usual punishment occurs — a slap on the face, vicious words that cut into you repeatedly, the assertion that no child of hers will ever come back into her home looking disheveled as you did, and no supper.

you don’t care; it was worth it, you tell yourself. at night when you fall asleep, you dream of a forest and sabo.

the next time you follow him, you get a bit better at it; he catches you and tells you the same thing. to leave him alone and not come looking. so you ignore it and try again the next time he sneaks out. but, his treks beyond the city become more prolonged, and when he does come back, he doesn’t look happy at all. it’s then you suggest to your mother that you have a play date with him, and at first she’s apprehensive but who is she to deny such a reasonable request from you? especially since you never want to play with anyone anymore.

sabo’s home is similar to yours, with a softer color palette. nobles are extremely unoriginal when it comes to decorating, they tend to emulate popular trends, and right now it’s almost as if you’re standing in your own foyer. sabo says nothing until you’re escorted to his room and he shuts the door.

“why are you here?” he spins around to ask you, eyes narrowed, face flushed from exertion or annoyance — you’re not sure.

“this was the only way i could see you,” you say genuinely. “i think i understand you a little more.” he watches you move about, hands touching the surface of his desk, his books, you peer at his collection of pens too. “you want to escape, right?”

his face blanches and he opens his mouth to refute your claim, not wanting his parents to overhear, but you hold up a hand to stop him.

“no, it’s okay. i get it.” you weren’t sure before what you were missing, but seeing the ways sabo defied his parents, the ways he’s defied society in general — it moves you to act. “take me with you.”

sabo blinks repeatedly, not quite sure if he hears you correctly. “do you realize what you’re asking me?” his hands grow clammy and he keeps wiping them on his shorts. “it’s not an easy life, living out there. you won’t last.” but, someone who understands his plight better than ace or luffy ever will, the thought intrigues him to say the least.

“don’t worry, i’ll make it. i know i will.” you have to. this is your last resort, after all. sabo sits on his bed and considers your request. there are so many unknowns, so many variables to consider; but your determination is admirable. maybe you do have what it takes.

“how do i know i can trust you?” he tilts his head at you, arms folded against his chest. maybe this will prove that you’re not as serious as you claim to be. he sneers until he sees the pocket knife you’ve retrieved from your person; unsheathing the blade, you grab his hand and before he can protest you quickly prick his finger with it and then do the same to yourself.

“a blood pact,” you say solemnly, having read it somewhere in a book once. you hold your finger out, the blood gliding down as it seeps out of the tiny wound. sabo swallows hard, a little shaken by your conviction — you remind him of ace, in a way; intense, impulsive, inconveniencing him at the worst times.

but he presses his finger to yours too, voice dropping to a whisper, “don’t make me regret this.” when you put the knife away you quickly hug him, feeling happier than you’ve felt in… years. sabo is unsure of what to do, so he pats your head awkwardly before prying you off of him. before long, you both fall into an easy conversation. you’re much funnier than he originally thought, your jokes making him laugh hard enough that his face turns red. he’s kinder than he appears, taking his time to explain his view on being a noble, on how everything feels rotten on the inside. his confession reminds you of a similar one — one you made late one night, whispering to the stars while everyone was asleep. so you listen carefully, absorb his words, enjoy the passion in his voice, and because you’re watching so intently, he gets flustered and stumbles over his words.

you try to ask him about it, but he gently nudges you away and hides his face by going through his dresser drawers. he tells you to pack light, that this will be the last time you see the city like this. it doesn’t bother you, though — leaving like this. so you make plans to meet at the gate later on that night. things go off without much issue, the journey a little easier now that you have sabo to guide you. both of you talk at length about your dreams, about impossible things you wish to see happen, on how you’re both eager to take to the sea. you’re more alike than you realize, but you don’t say anything — a little afraid that he might actually leave you behind if you do.

he introduces you to his brothers ace and luffy; the latter takes to you right away, excited that sabo brought on someone fun to play with. ace takes a bit of convincing, but when you prove capable enough, he begrudgingly accepts you. the time you spend with them fills you with a certain warmth that you’re desperate to hold onto. sabo, in turn, is a little more softer with you; takes his time to slow down if you’re lagging behind, only pushing you when he sees fit, staying up late to make up stories about potential adventures at sea with you. in hindsight, you come to understand that this was a love that blossomed slowly, that you only realized your feelings when it was much too late.

sabo’s death shatters something inside of you. but, you refuse to go back home. even after the search parties, you continue to keep hidden, sticking with ace and luffy for as long as you can, until it’s time to set off on your own.

time gives you perspective, helps you see that naivety has no place in adult life, makes you wish to do something that will make a difference. it’s ace’s death that hardens you again. and, while you wish you could find luffy and comfort him for his loss, you know that won’t fix anything. the frustration pushes you to do more — to train harder, to educate yourself on the ongoings of the world. because your desire to be a part of the change in the world is so great, it leads you to the revolutionary army without fail. you’re told you’re to meet with the second-in-command, so you wait in the designated area, tapping your foot nervously against the hard tiled floor. you don’t know why, but you’re anxious about meeting him, wanting to make a good first impression you dress a little nicer than usual, make sure that your hair is perfectly in place — a testament to your upbringing, something you unfortunately cannot escape.

heavy footsteps alert you to his presence as he makes his way closer. “sorry for the wait,” he says, a polite smile on his face as he takes you in. since recovering his memories, things are still a little fuzzy, so he pauses right when you do, the thick file he had in his hands slips through his fingers, the papers flying as they fall onto the floor. you’re gripping the arms of the chair so tightly, you’re sure you’ll break the wood at this rate.

“s-sabo?” you can’t believe it — no, you refuse to believe it. but there he is, same as ever — a little older, much taller, and handsome as always. your brain short-circuits momentarily as you rub your face with your hands. “how is this even possible? how are you alive?” you haven’t moved from the chair, opting to sit because you know if you try to stand your legs will give out. ace is dead…but sabo is alive. when luffy finds out, he’ll be over-the-moon. you planned on keeping your hands over your face for eternity, hoping your tears don’t flow more than they are currently. sabo plucks your hands off of your face and pulls you to your feet — his strength is alarming, but you don’t mention that. you don’t mention that he’s grown to be much more confident in his convictions, that despite his status in the revolutionary army, he still has that boyish charm, still looks at you as if you hold the secrets to the universe, still has that mess of curls that you remember playing with more times than you can count.

you shove at his chest, not understanding a thing. “what happened? why are you here?”

if anyone were to see you talking to him like that, they might kick you out; still, you keep at it, hurling question after question, irritated that he isn’t answering you. he’s much too busy committing your face to memory all over again. sabo, meanwhile, familiarizes himself with the annoyance on your face, the adorable pout on your lips, the delicate way your eyelashes fan out, the determined set of eyes of yours that always managed to see through his bullshit.

it comes back to him in pieces, but with you in front of him, he finally feels at home.

“calm down,” he says lightly, that impish smile you fell in love with so long ago making the pitiful organ you call a heart to beat a little faster than normal.

poking your finger at him, you huff, “don’t you tell me to calm down, how about you calm down?” it’s ridiculous, you know, you’re being wholly unfair. something happened to sabo over the past decade, something you might never understand entirely — and even though you’re annoyed about it all, you’re so incredibly happy you could cry all over again. he wants to ask you about luffy, wants to ask how ace was before his untimely demise, wants to know if you still have the same dreams from back then. but he doesn’t. instead, he finds solace in teasing you, liking how easily you fall for his taunts. when you finally stop berating him, when you’ve run out of questions to ask, you quiet down and hug him tightly.

you don’t expect him to return your embrace, so when he does, you’re stunned. sabo brushes his lips against your forehead, the kiss soft enough that you’re sure you imagined it. again, you feel your heart beat faster than necessary, that warmth you thought you lost so long ago finding you once more. his slender fingers tilt your chin upward so you can look at him properly. there’s something he’s been chasing during all of the years you were apart; his dreams were plagued by memories of his past life that didn’t feel quite real. but consistently, your face, your voice popped up every single night. he thought he imagined you; thought maybe you were just someone he desperately wanted to be real. but, now that he’s seen you — now that he’s holding you, he can safely say that you’re very much real. and he refuses to let you go.

“it’s okay,” he says quietly, smiling gently, “i missed you too.”

theyre all cute, but i really like loven and sandel :) do you have any character blurbs for the cast? you mentioned that theyre pretty disconnected, but in a theoretical situation where they all meet, would any of them get along in particular?

also i would love to hear about any inspos for the design process, the variety in the group is so fun, it makes me curious!

sandel and loven fucking hate each other actually the characters do have opinions on each other unfortunately these two do not like each other much

sourcing design insp for sandels hard his designs been the same since 2014 like literally all thats new is his shirt has blue on it now too. i know despite being a spider his colors and body shape were based on the raisant from viva pinata lol.

loven kept call her colors from her old design but recently had a big revamp to suit her flirty personality more. her biggest insp in design is sena from the band jiluka but also vkei in general (toramaru bebikin also bc my fav band)

sandel is the protags childhood friend and probably the most sane character in the cast hes not super layered his backstory is the same as the players due to being raised closely. he sorta babies the protag tho he has a general protective nature and a lot of his route focuses on getting him to treat you equally rather than like something he needs to always protect

loven eats people—sorry I literally dont know a better place to start with him. loven uses all pronouns sorry if i switch a lot. hes part of a species that compared to all the other monster species in this world are still more traditional and secluded. theyre pretty much never seen outside of their own villages and even those are hidden. theyre a species of shapeshifters, the general kind that transforms into different creatures to lure them in and prey on them. loven uh. can't..transform fully. big projecting onto ur own character thing but she simply struggled when learning the magic and gave up and is afraid to try and learn again esp bc her family arent like..the nicest about her struggle. the closest she can get to human is how u see her usually drawn but shes found a lot of people are into furries and this works just fine in luring prey in anyways lol.

shes really flirty but in an aggressive way due to the whole predatory creature nature and the player being human but they work off each other in a way. they like that he fights back thats probably the only reason that they stopped considering him for a snack and instead for partnership. tho their moods can be a little all over the place so theyre hard to understand at times. saying outright loven has untreated autism like full stop that is my intention bc i also have autism.

KIIIND OF ??? my friend’s and i like to joke around that i’m kind of a shen yuan at times, i actually really latched onto his character BECAUSE of his neurosis but. i dunno, i’m not as logic driven as he is, nor am i as stilted emotionally / with my affections. so, yes and no ! he can be difficult to write sometimes because of how different he is from me, i think. i’ve never written a muse like him before, so it’s definitely a challenge, but a fun one ! i also think it’s pretty natural to take on muses similar to you or put parts of yourself in a muse, bc how else are you supposed to understand them on a deeper level yk ? it helps with getting into a muses mental imo.

i am a HUGE slasher / horror fan. i'm still working my way through the classics and people's recommendations for movies / games / books (having strict parents put me back a few years lol), but i love scary / dark things! my only drawback is that i'm pretty bad with torture-porn horror (see: anything involving and made in the years after saw) and i prefer psychological horror or things that don't focus on people being HURT - i can handle them being KILLED though!

i'm a relatively new roleplayer compared to a lot of people in the community - ok, i used to write in like 2013, but i was a kid and it was solely warrior cats or "anime high school" threads on a now defunct forum. i then decided in my teenage brain that that was "cringe" and "bad" and stopped doing it for ages, but i've recently (with all the credit to my lovely friend flowers) regained my love for it!

i have an extremely fat cat. yes we've tried putting him on diets. yes we've tried exercising him. nothing has worked (he's lazy as hell and steals food), so now we just let him live out the rest of his life (he's pretty old now :( ) however he wants to. i would die for him. please ask me for photos of him at any given opportunity.

I just saw your two posts and I was wondering if you would like to do a comfort scenario/headcanons for when the reader had their heart broken and the dream smp members, platonically friendship or a platonic friend to lover, if that makes sense? If not, then can you do the same concept but with just a story and the entire dream smp is the reader's friends and try to comfort them? Sorry if it is quite a strange request! 😅

You've gotten heart broken so many time before but this time was different. You two had been best friends forever. You really thought you two had a connection. You slammed you phone to the floor, tears rolling down your cheeks. All those text that you two shared over the years meant nothing. You started to yell, not because you were scared or worried just sad. After a few seconds of crying you hear a knock on the door and a head pops in.

Tommyinnit <3 (platonic)

He would for sure come in with a worried look and you favorite snacks. Asking if you are okay.

You would cry to him and explain what had happened.

He would give you a weird look but still try to calm you done.

After you were done he would ask if you were done.

Not to be rude but to make sure wouldn't interrupt you.

He would ask if he could comment

He would give his opinion and be like "He was such a jerk" Or "I don't know what you see in him"

Then he would be like "I don't know why you need him when you have a Big man like me!"

Then he would get some comfy cloths for you and take you on a walk in Brighton while having snacks to calm you down / give you a breather. While talking about funny moments you two have had or funny moments in the dsmp lore.

(People sometime gave you guys a weir look bc you were eating chips and Y/F/S while going on a walk but you and Tommy didn't mind)

He would smile and say "Okay... brb"

Definitely give you a hug before walking into his bedroom.

Would come back with pillows and some popcorn he had made earlier for himself

Would probably knock out half way through the movie

Wilbur <3 (Friends to Lovers)

He would't really wait for a "Come in" he would kinda just barge in

Probably holding a book or his phone because he didn't even think to put it down.

He would sit down by ur bed and ask "Darling,Love, are you okay? what happened?"

You would cry and put your head in his chest and tell him everything, all the way from you and your heartbreakers friendship. (if that makes sense)

He would probably wait till you were all done to say something like "I'm so sorry Darling. Is there anything I can do for you?" Or he would stay quiet.

Before you would be able to answer he would walk out of the room and get his phone out.

At first you thought he was just being rude ad you were about to start crying again when you hear a loud bang.

Then, Wilbur would come back in with his guitar and with a large smile on his face.

He was trying to explain that the reason he was holding the top of his head was from banging in with his guitar on accident.

Then he would sit down next to you and start playing

Humming calming lyrics to calm you down. Later resulting in you sleeping.

When you wake up there would be a plate of Y/F/F and Wilbur would be asleep beside you. guitar still I hand.

He had called Y/F/F's restaurant to order you Y/F/F without you realizing.

On the plate of food was a sticky note saying "I can be better than them Love"

You quickly eat it and go back to sleep with Wilbur.

Dream <3 (Friends to Lovers)

He would come in looking very worried and scared.

He would right away hug you

Probably sit there in silence while you cried your eyes out

Once you were down he would take you to his room and set you down on his bed

He would leave you and come back with a tea or Y/F/D

Cuddle you and try to comfort you

"I love you" or "Y/N I've always loved you."

You would be in pure shock but he would just keep cuddling you.

you both fall asleep together feeding off of each others heat.

Come in with a soft look and Zuko (her cat)

I think she would have brought you a comfy burrito blanket and wrapped it around you as you cried.

after you were done she would put on Y/F/M

Then, once you were done eating you two would watch the movie and cuddle Zuko

hi perce...!!!!!! i saw ur tsumu and hajime post from earlier and i was gonna reply with some hajime thoughts but i forgot so now im sending an ask abt it bc it made me think!!!!! hajime is portrayed as a selfless character, but ive always thought he was never meant to be written that way. the more u find out about him, the more u realize his acts of selflessness come from an inherent "selfishness" to feel loved and secure. he's always felt he had to be the one to take care of others because of his younger siblings, and it's brought up at a lot of points of how much extra work he takes on for the sake of providing for his family. he's always trying to make others feel secure, it's like part of his nature at this point, and to his own detriment. i think particularly when he met tomoya, his motivations changed. rather then it feeling like a duty just because he was hajime, it became a version of security for him. by the time he enters es, he wants to love others in order to feel loved, he thrives off of it. this is inherently "selfish", and i feel like people gloss over that aspect of hajime a lot. he's possessive and insecure in his relationships, but because part of his version of security is being selfless and loving, he doesnt express it in the "usual way" people might think. but even then there's a LOT of scenes where he gets mad over tomoya in some way in general that's a big theme of ra*bits, "love". every member of ra*bits i would say is infatuated with a certain idea of what love means, and part of their arc is learning that love is different and always changing. im not confident enough to say what this might mean for tsumugi since idk him very well but yeah... hajime still makes me a little crazy despite me not talking abt enstars too much anymore hehe.

HAJIME'S "SELFISHNESS" THAT COMES FROM HIS DESIRE TO BE LOVED AND HIS POSSESSIVE NATURE AND HIS INSECURITIES IS SOMETHING THAT I LOVE TO THINK ABOUT..! He displays these traits so fascinatingly too I was thinking about it earlier and It's sad to see these aspects of him be neglected, as are many aspects of the members of ra*bits, even Nito's post-valkyrie characterization tends to be blindsided by some fans I've noticed.. when I saw you like my post I wondered what Lena's thoughts were. A lot of Tsumugi's own selflessness comes from a desire like this, an inherent need to be needed, not just general love which he lacks and hardly understands yet craves, but also how he thrives off of the feeling of giving himself up to someone, even currently he sees his relationship with Natsume as a "contract". I wouldn't call him selfish, but humans are prone to being selfish in spite of it not being inherent... but well it's what leads to him doing fucked up things for the sake of others (eichi namely) or simply what he sees as the greater good so long as he will be loved in the process because of his skewed view of it- the fact during the war he knew he was being manipulated but let himself be manipulated anyway.

I'm not exactly sure how to connect these things because the way they go about it is a little different but... I think they can be compared and I just want Tsumugi & Hajime to drink tea together and read books and maybe cuddle and that's okay & their relationship really matters to me especially how Hajime is taking care of the school library now ＞﹏＜ their blue hair and pronouns, similar behaviours, their shared anxieties and similar upbringings as well as their hardworking nature, it's interesting to see... I think it can be made evil bringing Eichi into the equation but I won't speak of that. In a sense the fact Tsumugi works hard isn't only to be loved but because if he doesn't feel useful he doesn't feel he should be alive at all which is a little darker than just the want to be loved and feel loved through loving, the fact he thinks if he can't be anything meaningful he might as well be a tool, or a stool... but alas. They both desire a sense of security from being valued by those around them which I think is something that most seek but it's especially strong in them is the thing. People don't usually act or think the way that Hajime & Tsumugi do lol. Especially not to the point they want the people around them to be fine to their own detriment the way they do.

I also think about how Hajime is an older brother which is perhaps a trait that wouldn't be expected from a cute young looking boy, who said he loved being looked after as a little brother by those around him like Nito yet is so good at taking care of others, while Tsumugi is a younger brother who isn't loved by his older brother but wants to be a caretaker to those around him and had a weird complex about his age in highschool... and his lack of relationship with him affects the way he interacts with people like the Sakuma brothers so it's pretty interesting to see. Family relationships are important when it comes to characters I think so it's just a little 😵 perhaps this is nothing to you but it means a lot to me in the Tsumugi realm so... ah...

6. How does your oc feel about labels? Theirs, or in general?

TUCKER: tucker cared more about labels in the past but has kind of given up on them by the time the wolfsbane narrative is over. he had to be really assertive of his identity when he was younger because he had to defend it a Lot and ur much more believable if you have a Solid Set Of Words u use to define urself. even now though he definitely asserts his masculinity a lot more than jord or xander do and is more picky about the terms you use to refer to him but it’s also like. he thought he was a gay man and then he caught feelings for xander who says a different gender every time you ask so he also recognizes that even the labels he does use are kinda up to interpretation lol. i feel like he still chooses to introduce himself as a gay man when asked even though that’s straight up not how he identifies he just doesn’t feel like explaining everything bc he’s had to defend himself for so long. and if you assume something else before he can explain the stranger-friendly version of himself he’s just going to shrug and go along with it. in terms of like general feelings on labels again he understands the importance of them but is also Definitely going to forget any intricacies you try to explain to him especially if ur a stranger. like he just cannot be bothered to care. like definitely a “just give me your pronouns because i’ll fucking forget everything else sorry.” kind of guy. if someone else tries to start shit though he Will defend the fuck out of someone using Whatever Damn Labels They Please even if he barely knows you.

KONAMI: ok i had to like literally think about konamis entire personality arc for this. so like right after death when he finally starts connecting with people again (tucker and xander), konami thinks labels are really cool even though he doesn’t know what any of them mean. i feel like he likes the idea of being able to explain himself with a Word because they have to relearn themself from the ground up. i think in terms of sexuality he probably re-finds and identifies with “bisexual” pretty quickly bc as much as konami struggles with emotions and how to deal with them he is Very in tune with his preferences especially in regard to people. gender is a whole other can of worms though. pre-death hes very sure of his gender but after dying he forgot his own identity and loses touch with all the stuff he connected with before. he probably spends a lot of time picking people apart about their labels to see if he can Relate To That Too! id imagine it leads to a lot of “i think that’s cool i want to be that too”/“i don’t care about that i would never identity that way.” and very little of it is truly Genuine. over time though as he learns more people’s experiences and understands his own more he starts to genuinely hold some labels close. think a lot of them are related to Concepts like “computer” and “electricity” bc once he realizes that his gender can be Things as opposed to these weird ideas of femininity and masculinity that he just cannot relate to he starts to understand the whole Gender Thing more. BOY though. Boy is his favorite word. that’s their One Gender Word that they relate to so much they don’t want anyone else to have it. He is the Only Boy.

8. Have they had struggles with their identity, be it due to internal or external reasons?

KONAMI: post-death, yeah, but not so much to do with queerness as just identity in general. sorry these answers are gonna be rly similar because it’s hard to explain one without the other. anyways their pre-death life doesn’t feel like theirs to the point where they can’t identify themself in old pictures and obviously that does a lot of weird things to your identity. but for the sake of sticking with queerness he wakes up as a ball of energy in the shape of a body which has been altered (konami got top surgery and was on t pre death and those changes stick upon death) but somehow it still feels… right? and on top of all of that he literally like Can’t grasp the concept of gender because he forgets everything and doesn’t have any frame of reference for like. what gender is. his only frame of reference is Himself which is already gender weird both in presentation and feeling. it’s a really unique experience to have because, like, his struggle doesn’t come from any sort of cishetnormativity being imposed onto him but rather the feeling of Loss from once having an identity and seeing the marks it left behind and no longer being able to understand what got him there. i think it makes him upset because he really Wants to know himself ESPECIALLY when he’s “reintroduced” to who he was before death but he just can’t make the connections. i don’t think he shows it at All though and just sorta avoids the question when it comes up or makes a joke out it/insincerely agrees or disagrees based on how he thinks he Should identify. being surrounded by trans people definitely makes his journey to finding his own identity more Genuine but also makes it a lot longer of a ride. sexuality is a whole different story though LOL as i said before he’s very sure of what he Likes and once someone is like “yeah the word for that is usually bisexual” he’s like cool so i’m DEEEFINITELY bisexual. no struggle there.

13. Would your oc be open to a poly relationship? Why or why not?

KONAMI: i answered this previously but no i think konami is a very monogamous guy. first of all he’s extremely territorial and doesn’t like sharing because he’s been denied connection for so long. this like. is Not the best thing for a relationship but by the time he’s actually to the point where he can connect to people in that way again he’s gotten over it a lot but probably still wouldn’t want to Share a Partner. he’s just very Devoted. even pre-death he was very similar he was a super devoted and loving partner. and a lot of the way that he connects with people is like. one on one experiences and communication and referential stuff so polyamory just wouldn’t make sense to him.

these answers are so damn rambly i’m sorry lol. i like talking about konami though he’s definitely the least fleshed out of the main four at this point. need to fix that.

think it's almost worse that my coming out phonecall went bad in the "not saying anything outright negative but getting extremely short, flat, and monotone, sounding clearly unhappy and disingenuous, not asking any questions or saying anything engaging, and quickly ending the call" way than if he had just been like . outright negative and hateful and rejecting. bc then i could just be like haha well fine fuck you you're out of my life. i think i'd have a lot more peace with that genuinely, it'd be a much clearer and less painful kind of loss. but being like. idk. soft rejected like that. is just a real bitch bc it makes me feel irrational and leaves so much hanging and oooof. oof. it just hurts all around tho. and fuck him bc i'm an adult and i'm independent and i don't need him to like it, i just needed him to be aware. but it fucking sucks and puts the final nail in the coffin of like. our relationship was already really trash bc i hate his ideals (super super republican) and lifestyle (hella alcoholic) so much <3 and don't wanna be around him or his friends or his wife's evil ass bigot family <3 but still get pressured and obligated to come see him at holidays and shit which is always miserable and uncomfortable for me and yeah idk if he had been like just upfront disapproving then itd be kinda nice to have that clean break... easy out... so this still is gonna put it on me to be the one who says "i'm not comfortable being around people who didn't respect me and treated me poorly even before being out and now will definitely be 100x worse" which i know from personal experience leads to a kinda "GOTCHA nobody has ever said anything directly negative to you so you're just being rude and not caring about your family and what about your family ur obligated to spend time with family who CARE about you this is just proof that this nonsense twists people's minds and makes them hate their families bc they care more about their pronouns and blue hair" situation

so you liking horror and such made the textures look more ominous and just make it look like and area you don't want to be in, and the spook goes up even more with the shader!! it's darker than usual, there's unusual fog, the portals look too dangerous now, so on and so forth yk

so,, tommy didn't use the texture pack for long;;

if you ever raid him after you're done streaming and he has a question, he's literally just gonna ask you on stream

also if you're the type of person to go insane over tiny details in other games, he will absolutely tease you for it

first off; he's incredibly impressed!! like!!! you made this game?? this playable game, completely from scratch??? how??

also you may or may not have made a small Minecraft mod for him to tryout on stream,, little gift from you to both chat n ranboo 🤲

its literally all based off his lore,, if you get close to obsidian and crying obsidian fallen down from Undertale starts playing, if you splash water on yourself 1) you get hurt 2) your screen blacks out and when it comes back, your in a different place than before, some things art taken, maybe a few extra things are added

and there's a 50% chance that when you go into your "enderwalk" state (the blackout) you blow something up, so there may or may not be an explosion somewhere nearby, you also have a 20% chance of building something small in you enderwalk state :)

he found it so incredibly cool!!! chat was crying while complementing you while ranboo thanked you and complemented you over n over again

he won't shut up about how cool the mod is for several weeks, maybe even a few months, it's just so cool!!

yk what I mean? like engages in convo so you don't feel bad about talking so much, plus shows his interest without the constant "hm?" "cool" etc a lot of people do and even though he does talk more than the acknowledgment sounds many people make he also manages to almost never sidetrack you and when he does it's on accident :)

if your way of learning is teaching then he'll gladly be the person you teach it to if you want! most likely won't use the information therefore his brain won't retain it but that's not on you, and the whole reason is so you can learn, not him, so! ^^

will make sure to take care of yourself, and he has a through way of telling if you have or not bc he's known you for long enough to know that even if you try to hide it a little bit of your tired voice shows so he knows if you've been sleeping like you should

also friends with you on discord, where you have your Spotify attached,, you like listening to music while you work on things that aren't sound related and if it's active later than it should be he's going to confront you

overall wholesome mixed in with a little pain bc both of you are like "ah yes, lore <3" and like to see fans cry /lh

he’s very aware of your tiktok antics, but out of all of the ones you’ve pulled on him, and asked him to do

he loves this one the most.

because shouto doesn’t have to get the lights scared out of him, and it doesn’t have a chance in ending terribly.

you brisk towards your room, knowing that shouto rests inside— “shou!” you call out to him, and he tilts his head up

“Y/N, tell me it’s not—”

“no, i swear!” you drop next to him on the bed, and you play the video. “this would be fun to do, right?”

he doesn’t say anything at first, but he definitely wants to do it, judging by the fact that he’s replaying the tiktok over and over again.

abruptly standing up, he tugs at your wrist “let’s do it.” he says with determination hinted in his voice

you’d think that he’d get the hang of doing tiktoks because of you but LMAO NO— the greenscreen failed you both multiple times in a span of 40 minutes.

the first take, the heart was blurry, the second take, the kiss was captured seconds before the kiss, and the third take— your phone fell 💀

plus, his movements were a little stiff the first few times, but after the third try— he definitely got the hang of it.

again— this man is ALWAYS on tiktok, so he’s aware of most of the trends there. but that doesn’t make them any less scarier

but oh wow, he loves this trend. denki was just praying that you’d see it— and ask him to do it with you.

he was grateful that luck was on his side, since he was ecstatic when you skipped over to him— asking him to do a tiktok trend

“oh, what tiktok trend? wait— please tell me it doesn’t involve me breaking up with you for a week so you could listen to drivers licenses—”

“what? no— let me show you” and when you showed him the tiktok, he showed you this cheeky little smirk

“let’s do it! the sooner the better!” he says, and he seems more excited that you 💀

denki’s so enthusiastic, to the point that the first few takes are a total fail— as he makes you fall over your feet, as the result of quickly pulling you onto him for a kiss.

bruh </3 as much as he loves you, you’re going to kill him with pranks one of these days.

he’s totally in on it if HE’S not the one being targeted, but most of the time,, neito’s the subject of your pranks

so he thinks it’s another silly prank, where you make him pick a number between 1-5 and ghost him for that many hours.

but when you show him the video one day, when you guys were chilling in your room— as per usual, he declined :,)

“but whyyy?? it’s so harmless!”

when it comes to it, he’s actually really shy about it. not like a ‘i don’t want to be seen with you!’ more like ‘gosh, how many takes is this going to take? will i be able to kiss them properly?’

“what if i end up accidentally copying their quirk? neito— focus, damnit.” he thinks to himself, brushing the anxious feeling away.

he’s determined enough to stay focused— but man struggled a bit with cooperating with the heart shape.

“neito— not that heart!” “well, you said to make a heart, so i did!”

it takes a few tries for the greenscreen to cooperate, and for you guys to get in sync

and when he finally has to kiss you, he grins at you— a very obvious blush adorning his cheeks, as he smashes his lips with yours

then he remembers that he actually has to break free from you— and forces you guys apart, still trying to play it cool

“wow! i look awesome. only i could kiss you like that, right? i don’t need an answer, because i know it’s true!” he says with that proud laugh of his, but it immediately dissipates after the second replay

neito leaves you be, not only for you to upload the tiktok— but also because he needs to THINK WHAT JUST HAPPENED he’s running laps in his mind rn

you upload the tiktok, not worrying too much about it— as you wanted to let it sit for a while, before checking up on it

however— when you open your phone again, you get bombarded with multiple text messages from kendou, and the other class 1-b students.

“you and monoma went viral!” is what you can sum up about most of the messages, and you have to see for youself— wanting to know if the tiktok really did get 800k likes and 1.9M views in a short amount of time.

Concert:

“oh my god, Harry he just fell!” Y/n giggles, watching the concert they caught at last minute. They didn’t even really know the band but they have heard a few songs and the band wasn’t very well known so pit tickets were pretty cheap. “What?!” Harry asks, stilling his dance moves and snapping his head toward his girlfriend. Y/n laughs loudly, “He almost fell off of the stage!” Y/n giggles, clinging to Harry. “Is he okay?!”

y/n nods, kissing harrys cheek. “Keep on dancing, baby! I want to get some videos of you!” Y/n yells over the music, pulling away from his and stepping back to take videos of his crazy head banging and jumping.

Building a crib:

“Honey, it’s okay. I can get someone else to build it.” Y/n says, rubbing her eight month bump while standing in the nursery that belongs to their second baby. “Hush, lovie. I’ve got this. Just let me take my time.” He says, growing frustrated with his pregnant wife but he still kept a smile on his face while talking to her.

“Okayyy, I’m going to watch ******. Yell for me if you need us.” She says, letting her man do what he needed to do.

Soon enough Harry yells her name, Y/n was selling up the stairs with their first born. She smiles while she leans against the door frame, breathless from hauling her big belly up the stairs. “You did it, baby.” She smiles, patting his cheek. “So proud of you.”

Yeah… you guys don’t get to know the name until a blurb comes out 😎 me also using they/ them pronouns so you don’t know the gender yet HAHAHAH

Ultrasound:

“Bubby, stay on my lap.” Harry whispers to his baby, hugging them while their mummy gets an ultrasound. “Okay… one second and I’ll be able to tell you the sex!” The woman standing in pink scrubs smiles, rubbing the wand over Y/n’s swollen belly.

“Okay, you’ve got a (YOU WISH YOU KNEW HAHAHAHA) in your belly!” The kind lady announces with a warm, excited smile on her face. Y/n jaw drop while Harry and ****** squeal. “ANOTHER?” Y/n cries, making Harry giggle. “Hush, you are gonna love it, baby.”

Best man:

“Don’t be nervous, silly.” Y/n giggles to her fiancé while she fixes his bow tie. They were at Harry’s best friends wedding. Mitch and Sarah had gotten engaged just a couple months before Harry and Y/n had, Harry now being his best man and Mitch going to their wedding as harrys best man.

“Hush it! I’ve got to walk in-front of all of those people.” Harry whisper yells, pointing to the door where people are slowly trickling in behind.

“Baby.” Y/n says, grabbing his face and looking straight into his eyes- he can instantly senses the eye contact and it makes his cheeks burn. “You look fucking beautiful. You are a dream. After the ceremony is over we are gonna go dance out asses off, and have the time of our lives. You aren’t Gonna have a worry in your mind so don’t get worked up now.” She says, hushing him with a firm kiss to his lips before he can even speak. “Thank you,” he cups her jaw. “I needed that.”

Soon enough Harry is screaming at the top of his lungs while doing the cha-cha slide- his suit jacket slipped off and shirt almost completely unbuttoned.

Night routine:

“Are y’ taking off your makeup, beautiful?” Harry asks from the bed, his voice tired and croaky. Y/n nods from the sink in the bathroom- “yup!” Harry groans, rubbing over his face. “Come take mine off, beauty.”

Y/n laughs at her husband, rolling her eyes while she pats her face dry with a towel. “Baby, you don’t wear makeup!” She yells back, stepping into the door way between their bathroom and bedroom. “Yeah but… come make me pretty. Wanna talk to you.” Y/n rolls her eyes but grabs a sheet mask and other things to doll up her husband nonetheless.

“You don’t need this, you’re pretty enough.” She says, swinging a leg over him and straddling his hips while he relaxes his head down into his pillow while she slides the slimy mask onto his face. “Yeah, yeah. How was your day?”

“It was fine, ****** was a little crazy today, but they went down so good for me during nap time.” Y/n hums. Harry smiles, “good.”

“How the company going?” Y/n giggles on-top of her husband, watching him lips form back into a smile. “It was good, sales are still going up!”

“Was it a good day?”

“Never when I’m away from you.”

Small date- at the fair!:

“No, H, come on! Give me a pretty face.” Y/n giggles, trying to take a Polaroid of him while he makes silly faces, pulling at his cheeks and lips to make himself look crazy. “Okay, okay, I swear. This one I will smile.” Harry makes a pretty face, closing his eyes while he smiles, pulling up his shoulders shyly while he does it. “Awe, you are so pretty.” Y/n coos at her fiancé,. Pulling up the camera to her eye.

As soon as the photo is shot harry is switching poses and shoving his corn dog into his mouth like a mad man. “Damn it Harry!” Y/n yells at her fiancé, making her erupt into giggles, almost making himself fall on the ground.
