I don’t know if anyone's mentioned this before, but Raine's titan badge after the time skip looks a bit different than the others:

They have this red piece of cloth attached to their badge that I haven't seen on anybody else.

Now, theorising time: I think they might be part of the new government, maybe even the president of the Boiling Isles. Hear me out, I have good reasons to believe so (and it's not just because they're my favourite character and I'm biased, shush):

1) As the former head of the Bard Coven, they'd certainly be qualified for the job: Raine has been part of the government before (as much as you can be when you're not the monarch in a monarchy lol) and knows how to lead.

2) They're probably more respected/trusted by the population of the Boiling Isles than most other public figures at this point - working together with the wannabe genocidal former emperor tends to ruin your reputation, so someone who led a rebellion against Belos (and fought against him personally in the final fight, though the question is if anyone except the people who were there knows about that) and has ties to other known rebels aka Eda should be quite well-liked.

3) They have already proven that they're able to make sacrifices for the sake of the whole Isles (for example: risking their own life and that of the woman they love to stop the Day of Unity in Eda's Requiem). Most of the other characters, like Eda and Luz, in comparison, have proven again and again that they would never be able to sacrifice someone they care about - which is an admirable trait, don't get me wrong, but you want a political leader to be able to consider what choices are best for everyone and compromise, if necessary.

4) It would be a great conclusion to their character arc: Raine spent half of their life trying to destroy the coven system from the inside and has witnessed its worst sides first-hand, let them be the one to build something new and better for the future of the Boiling Isled.

So in conclusion: Raine has the potential to be a great president....... as long as nobody forces them to make public speeches regularly.

Them being a member of the government would also explain why they are present when that coven sigil was removed: Why would someone who specialises in Bard magic be needed for something that seems to be based on Healing and Abomination magic? Because they're a representative of the government/the Boiling Isles!

Everyone's worried about Luz and the kids, for good reason, but what about the people on the Boiling Isles? Most people trusted Belos and almost died because of him and are now probably confused as hell and Eda and Raine and Darius and everyone else who knew about this can't explain it in time because BOOM now this overpowered GOD CHILD shows up claiming he killed Belos holding King and tells the entire Isles that they're gonna play a game they've never heard of before and starts destroying the FUCKING WORLD!!

Let's discuss something that I don't think many people have thought of now that philip/Belos is out of the picture when whatever The collector is doing is stopped what is going to happen to the boiling isles I know we would all like for them to go to a happy peaceful time what I'm thinking is the most likely is something similar to the ending of avatar The last Airbender where zuko becomes the fire lord and restores peace to the world with Anggs help and the sequel series legend of Korra shows What becomes of the society they built together along with the rest of their friends I'm thinking that is the ultimate purpose of the cats in the narrative I think that the cats rebellion is showing us how the new political system is going to put in place most likely through a council of coven heads possibly elected from different parts of the isles together and with a very different version of the coven system possibly without the limitations seen in the show we know I think it's much more likely that the world will be a very different place more like Deadwardian bonesburow

With modern conveniences like the scrolls which as we all know are basically just which cell phones

And if Disney or Dana terrace do the wondrous thing that amphibia did and give us a how many years later look into the future maybe we'll be able to see if Luz and Amity get married which honestly we probably all want to see along with a Raineda wedding

Here’s an idea:

When the CATTs and the Coven Heads are recovering from the draining spell getting abruptly turned off, and see the Skull getting torn apart by some unknown force, Fucking Kikimora shows up holding King’s collar. The only reason Eda doesn’t immediately tear her limb from limb is that she’s just as exhausted and in pain as everyone else, so Kiki actually has a chance to explain exactly what happened with Belos, the kids, and the Collector. Not out of any sense of altruism obviously, but just because there’s nothing else for her to do at this point.

So now they know that the Hexsquad is safe but stranded, the emperor is dead, and they’re now all at the mercy of an omnipotent child with no concept of morality. And it’s Hooty out of all of them who latches onto the concept of King’s collar having a concealing spell on it and realizes that that means they’ll be safe from the Collector on the island where King was born. So now they’re going there with as many people as they can, which isn’t many since the Collector really wants people to play with them, plus there’s only so many airships.
