hunter’s friends would always make so much jokes about darius being his dad or would go “how’s your dad doing btw?” that hunter ends up slipping up and calling darius dad to his face and it isn’t like hunter disagrees with the sentiment but he’s just worried darius would be weirded out by it. hunter kinda just sits there in silence for a few seconds and then he finally looks up at darius and darius just has the softest look on his face ever and that’s when hunter knew it was all okay and that darius didn’t mind infact darius happily will carry the title of hunter’s dad for as long as hunter wants him to be

Listen! I’m not a DADIRUS HATER, really!

I’m just making the guy work for it!

Truly though, I like writing messy relationships and Hunter and Darius had a possible trash heap in their pasts and this was how it shook out!

There’s loads of potential subtext in their relationship and it’s been fun to explore in this way.

Also, in SCOM he’s a spy! He has to maintain his distance and it causes a lot of stress and misunderstanding to Hunter who is not sure what their relationship is. And to Alador who keeps texting Hunter instead of Darius by accident…

I’ve got plans for how their relationship will play out! (Hunter and Darius, Alador is beyond help.)
