Hey! I saw you post about 4mix in the tag, and I wanted to ask: could you maybe tell me about the members and the lgbtq+ concept of the group? I saw their new release yesterday and was really intrigued :) i hope you have a nice day! You don't have to answer this at all, it's just that there isn't much in English about them 😔
Hi anon, I wish I could tell you more than what is available on kprofiles.com, but I will try to give some of my perspective as someone who has been with them since debut. It is hard out here as a UNIX when 99.9% of their content is unsubbed.
So 4mix is a Thai pop group made of 4 members: Ninja, Mcka, Folksong, and George. Ninja, our fearless leader, is openly a member of the LGBTQ+ community. The other members have not declared anything one way or another about their sexualities. However, from the beginning, 4mix was actively promoted as an LGBTQ+ group.
They debuted in 2020 under the label KS GANG. Their debut song Y U Comeback was very well received but the label shut down completely back in July. Luckily the group was picked up last month by 411 Records and already released a new single.
Their music is very influenced by kpop and they are one of the few tpop boy groups currently active and/or still together.

i absolutely adored Love Lettering! still one of my favorites. and i just love Kate Clayborn’s writing. i also love all of Helen Hoang’s books, and i second The Roommate by Rosie Danan. also rec The Ex Talk by Rachel Lynn Solomon, It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey, How to Fake It in Hollywood by Ava Wilder, Just My Type by Falon Ballard (and Lease On Love has been good so far too! Just My Type was my introduction to Falon Ballard though and i loved it so much!!), and if you like historical romance i really liked The Good Girl’s Guide to Rakes by Eva Leigh and The Lady Gets Lucky by Joanna Shupe. oh also recommend Just Like Magic by Sarah Hogle (since you’ve read YDEO now heh), which made me laugh so much bc it’s so over the top and ridiculous on purpose and i loved it (someone described it as a bonkers romance and it is. the humor and pop culture references really worked for me at least, and Hall is a precious ball of sunshine)

Instead of texting her back, Anakin immediately called Obi-Wan.
It turns out, three months before he was supposed to marry Satine, she had an epiphany. She loved Obi-Wan, deeply, but she was no longer in love with him. Not the way she was when they were fifteen, sixteen, seventeen... spending summers together at the Cape.
And she suspected he was no longer in love with her as well. Which happens sometimes, through no one’s fault.
They were both born into families with influence and wealth and power. And when they began dating, it was welcomed with enthusiasm on both sides. The union of two political dynasties.

His best friend, who Anakin had harbored feeling for since they were eighteen. He’d kept that secret hidden away because he knew nothing could ever come of it. Obi-Wan was betrothed to a smart, strong, and lovely woman. Anakin was his best friend, and that was more than enough.
At first, Obi-Wan was going to stay with Anakin at his condo for a month until he found a suitable place to rent.
One month turned into two.
“We didn’t have sex for two years,” Obi-Wan says quietly one morning, unprompted.
It caught Anakin off guard and he choked on his coffee, spitting it across the kitchen island and dribbling it down his chin.
“Were you seeing someone else?” Anakin asked after he stopped coughing.
“No. I just watched a lot of porn,” Obi-Wan said and took a sip of his tea.
Two months turned into three.
“I know we were right to end things. It’s letting go of the life that was expected of me that’s been the hardest part. Feeling like I’ve let down my family and hers,” Obi-Wan mused. “My future had been laid out and I simply had to place one foot in front of the other and just walk. But now that I’ve taken a step to the side... I feel so free.”
Three months turned into a gardening project to update the little patch of backyard space into a patio with a quaint sitting area.
“I’m pretty sure that’s the little dipper,” Obi-Wan said, pointing to the sky as they sat on the bench together.
“I had no idea we could see so many stars on a clear night,” Anakin commented.
Half a year later, Obi-Wan had repainted the kitchen and updated the cabinets.
Anakin returned home a day early from his work trip and froze at the bottom of the stairs when he heard the noises. Moaning and grunting. The rhythmic slap of skin.
A blush crept over him and he quietly placed his carry-on duffle on the floor, right next to his breaking heart, ready to leave and grant Obi-Wan some privacy with his guest. But as he tiptoed toward the front door, it became obvious that he was hearing the voices of two men.
His curiosity got the best of him so Anakin tiptoed up the stairs instead. Down the short hallway. To the door of the guest room where Obi-Wan had been staying for nearly a year.
Anakin peeked in the dark room and saw the naked silhouette of Obi-Wan leaning back in his chair, his hard cock in his hand. On the laptop screen was a man with bronze curls getting fucked senseless by another man with pale freckled skin.
“Obi-Wan?” he asked, before he could stop himself.
And when Obi-Wan turned and fell out of his chair, Anakin ran to his own dark room and stood there in the middle of the floor, frantically processing what he just saw.
About fifteen seconds passed before Obi-Wan rounded the corner with a hastily thrown on t-shirt and pair of shorts. He flipped on the light and his expression was that of panic and complete shame.
“I can explain,” Obi-Wan said.
Anakin stared. “Okay.”
Obi-Wan took several deep breaths. “There really isn’t an explanation. It’s exactly what you think.”
“You’re watching gay porn.”
“Yes.”
“You’re into dudes?” Anakin asked.
“Apparently.”
“You’re into dudes that look... like me from behind?”
Obi-Wan shrugged. “I’d prefer if they looked like you from the front too.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Anakin whispered.
“Because I didn’t know how you’d react. I’m still trying to figure it out myself,” Obi-Wan admitted. “I think I’m in love with you. I think I have been for a very long time.” His fingers fidgeted with the hem of his shirt.
“Not as long as I’ve been in love with you,” Anakin said quietly.
“Oh, I think you’d be surprised,” Obi-Wan said with a laugh. “I think--”
It didn’t matter what he thought, because Anakin’s lips were on Obi-Wan’s, finally. And there was plenty of time to think tomorrow. And the day after that.

I love how he transmits feeling in his voice, first of all. His voice has matured so much and it's delicate but stable. I enjoy it when he is able to handpick the song he wants to sing because he sings it different. Straight from his soul.

I love how lovable he is. He's funny and he even makes himself crack up lol
He's down to Earth. I feel like he's the most down to Earth in BTS. It feels like he genuinely enjoys talking to the fans. He literally spends hours on welive reading comments and taking requests. I have never seen any other celebrity do this. Not Jungkook level, at least.
He shows us sides of him that most people don't.
I personally wish he wouldn't be so open because then all these dumb people end up dragging him for it. But of course, only dumb people do that.
Him showing these sides of who Jungkook is in his daily life tells me that he is genuine and that's one of my favorite qualities in people.
No matter what others say and no matter what you think or are, be genuine and transparent even if it's not well liked. It's better than being someone you are not, at least to me. So I value people like that.
I love that he is so kind to Bam. I'm a dog person x1000 and seeing him take care of Bam is another level. Not all dog owners do that.
I'm invested in Jungkook and Bam, ok? Let me be lol
And I deeply admire that he turned out good. He started his career when he was literally a child in an environment where the odds are not in people's favor.
He was a baby.

Even though a lot of people say his hyungs raised him and what not, he decided to be good. There are many people that are raised in a loving environment yet make the decision to be ugly humans.
To me, Jungkook is a good guy and just for that (leaving aside that he is famous, talented, beautiful, and part of BTS, and in a relationship with Jimin) he deserves all the pretty things in the universe. Luckily for him, Jimin is one the prettiest things in the universe and he deserves all the pretty things too. So they deserve each other.
And of course, I love that he loves Jimin.
I don't love Jungkook because he loves Jimin. I love that Jungkook loves Jimin. It's two different things.
It's not that I think he is an accessory for Jimin. But if I think of Jimin, Jungkook is there. If I think of Jungkook, Jimin is there. He makes Jimin happy and I love seeing Jimin happy.

I'm back in your asks on this story for one more time bc it just seems fitting 🥹
I remember reading the first part of that story, not knowing where you'll go with this. And then you posted so frequently that I needed to follow the account bc you really got me hooked. You did an amazing job right up from the start and it just got better and better.
After some posts I remember putting in my first ask and for whatever reason I decided to screw it and not go anon about it. So I started my ramblings. And I kept rambling on, even through two weeks of holdidays abroad, until one day or better one night you answered back that maybe after some more champagne I might find you in my DM's sharing all the spoilers. And I answered I'm ready when you are. And there you were.
I'll forever be grateful not only for this smau and the time and love and effort you put in there to share with us, but also for all the talks we had and the late night chats and all things Max and F1 I could gossip about with you.

These aren't even fics that were written within the last few months - in fact, these are among the first few fics I've ever written and posted period. I think some of us (especially me 100%) tend to brush off our first works because that's just what they are, first works - our writing debut so to speak, drafts, first attempts, navigating the other end of fanfiction... the writing. I'll still see notifications that one of my first fics, like the three you're referring to here, have just received notes; I know how much my writing style has evolved since they were originally posted and it blows my mind that people out there are diggin' them enough to like and/or reblog. Truthfully, after seeing these messages, I went back and read all three of them for the first time since posting and caught a good chunk of uh-ohs that made myself cringe... so I had to edit a lil 😅

What can I say? Reincarnation AUs beg for angst, and 1000yr pining was too delicious to resist. You’re right and you should say it. He is a moron, exclusively. Martin is moronsexual.
Andres is extra dumb in this AU because he managed to wait 1000 years and then forgot about it. And yes, hermanito exists in this AU! At least in the “canon” lifetime. I’m not sure if it’d be too self-indulgent to include Sergio in all the other lifetimes too LOL. Also kinda like the idea of Sergio being his brother specifically in this lifetime- makes it more special in a way!
Since I haven’t actually written anything yet, this AU is a fullon “maybe” so MAYBE Andres might never enter the mint or maybe he’ll get out, or maybe they’ll bring Martin into the gang instead of Rio. All a big maybe! I can’t decide if I want to go the tragic route all the way through or to let them have a semihappy ending after 1000+ years of dumbass pining XD

And of course Andres had to choose to drink the water immediately after realizing he’s in love with Martin. Dumbass smh
Also, I 100% want to write this AU for the specific purpose of “Andres” giving up literally everything canon Andres thought he wanted in life, in order to share a life with Martin. Which he then leaves because he drank the water :’D But we’ll see if he remembers regardless!

i saw you mention floch in one of your gabi posts and can i just say, i love him? like i literally have no idea why, he’s such an asshole imo. and he’s only become more of a dick as time goes on, and yet. i love him? i think it’s funny he’s still alive at this point, and part of me wants to see him die for the memes. originally i hated him so much, that it somehow turned into love. same thing happened to gabi and reiner, but they also had more development. tldr, floch is great but idk why

this is, i think, the most interesting ask i have gotten in ages. you can’t imagine how much i like everything you wrote here, thank you for sharing it with me!
with the shit i see every day it seems so rare to find people who are so ..open-minded with fiction. feels strange to write that down but idk how else to describe it. and tbh i was lowkey hoping someone will mention floch so that i can find a chance to say IT’S OKAY TO LIKE HIM. i guess i’m a coward for not making a post on my own. you CAN say you love him anon, it’s totally cool, i support you all the way. ❤️ and even the fact that you don’t know exactly why is absolutely valid!! i would accept anything, “i like him because he causes chaos”, “i like him because he has a cool character design/he’s beautiful”. anything is fine. you think i was waiting for zeke’s deep backstory to make him my number 1? i saw him in chapter 70 in his full glory and i was like “well damn you’re my mans now”. who cares? enjoy the story however you like, you don’t owe an explanation to anyone and don’t have to prove anything either. this is exactly why i hate these moral olympics in the fandom, so many people have a complex of wanting their favourite characters to be flawless gods who can do no wrong. and so they reach and twist and bend the story so much in order to justify every single thing. really sad if you ask me. anyways.
in that gabi ask i said that floch is a character we are meant to dislike right? well the key word is ‘meant’. it doesn’t mean we must. i actually liked him very much at the beginning. i was impressed with how he talked back at the 104th and i though ‘finally, here’s a different pov’. in time though he became too absolutist for my liking but i still see how he is important. there are many floch-type characters in other stories that i’ve liked from beginning to end though. i find it very interesting that you hated floch so much and ended up loving him! sometimes there’s a thin line between these two you know? and i appreciate that you love him with full awareness that he’s a mean guy and you’re cool with the memes too. i think isayama did actually try to add some humour on the fact that he kept floch alive in 124 and kind of went:
so yeah, floch is great. you may keep liking him just cause until the end or you may suddenly find a reason or we may learn something about him that will make you like him even more. who knows. what i know is that you win because you seem to have fun with the story while others are fuming 💅
and as for gabi and reiner, once again, valid! btw, you say that gabi is not your type of character. same for me. i like her now more than ever but she is still not within my favourite characters in this series. i defended her against those haters of course because as you said she is growing and we grow to love her. i understand your initial reaction. i was thrown off both by her introduction and by her shooting sasha but it doesn’t take much to see why/how she acts the way she does. and omg the fact that reiner is your favourite character ever now!! 😭❤️ that progress is so beautiful! personally, i always liked him but after marley arc ...x1000, he’s only slightly below zeke.
