honestly i actually think that k_k deltarune is silly on purpose and not Just Like That bc god knows autistic people aren't treated as being capable of having a sense of humor. god knows k_k is treated like shit in fan content for being clearly autistic coded just like papyrus was. so i like to think he's silly on purpose. he knew full well that cap'n didn't mean 400 bagels for 80$ but it took everyone by surprise and what is he to do but Commit To The Bit. he knew exactly what capn Meant by "are we players?" but he was Not going to answer that. not when there was an opportunity to say something seemingly inane and also stop his siblings from fighting. his feelings about wishing he were a car are nuanced but he loves to just say it bc it tends to get him looks from strangers. he would tell customers in the shop "I love you" at the end of a conversation like it's a phone call and he slipped up but he Didn't bc he loves to just get a rise out of people bc he is silly on Purpose. he is a 'sharks are smooth as hell' kinda guy

was reading my first ever MDZS fic and pfft.

#four idiots canon divergence au #mdzs #grandmaster of demonic cultivation #mo dao zu shi #wei wuxian #nie huiasang #The first chapter does have issues. Mostly because it was also my first writing for any Chinese media/this genre in general #but this fic has a special spot in my heart as well #kk's writing tag #I am mostly a comedy writer when it comes to this fandom (four idiots series for both AUs) and this is one of the fics I completed after #years of writer's block and struggling with other fics. And it had everything I personally wanted to write. Comedy friendship and ghosts #(surprise hua cheng appearance with the whole city of ghosts and gambling in the middle)#the plot elements are very randomly thrown together but I do think that this helped me realize that my writing strength was in the #characterisation over the world building and like. Mystery writing.#I usually wrote rarepair ships before so to come into a mainstream pairing and fandom was....new. It's still strange but it's what it is #thank you to everyone who has ever interacted with my fics

Favorite thing about them: She's funny and witty and empathetic and resourceful and kind! I love her personality.

Least favorite thing about them: I mean, I'm not the greatest fan of the whole sleeping with her brother thing lmao. Still, I wish we got to know more about them, like, what's their deal? Because so far it just seems like this type of bsd dark humor I don't really vibe with. It's fairly easy to ignore for me though, so I don't really dwell on it too much ahah.

Favorite line: I reread all her lines and I this is the nicest one I could find where she isn't like. Quoting Dazai

"I've told you not to do that!" Red Hood snapped. "Do you want to fucking die?!"

Red Robin froze in place for a brief moment, confused and shocked by the sudden tone. Not even the fact that the godmother had grabbed him and almost broke his back fazed him. Not like Hood's sudden change of mood.

He stood up straight, putting away his bo-staff as he observed his partner.

Tim knew that Hood had no patience for someone like Batman but for everything else, everyone else (specially Tim), he had plenty. His mood and humor were only bitter when it was about his past, his own death or Bruce.

This wasn't like Jason. Did he do something wrong? Fighting criminals required some risk, maybe a lot of risks, but this was something they did daily. What had changed?

Red Hood put back his guns into the holsters and waited for him. Without saying a word, Red caught up to him and together, they left the scene.

Their patrolling turned quiet and Red began to feel awkward. There was a moment where he felt he was too anxious to continue fighting along Hood, but then he noticed something-

"I'm sorry."

Red Robin thought he had heard something but wasn't too sure. It took him a moment to drag his eyes off the pavement and when he looked up, he saw Hood looking at him.

"Huh?"

"I'm sorry for snapping at you." His voice wasn't a mumble anymore. "It wasn't your fault. I'm just... tired."

Red glanced back down immediately. There were blood drops on the pavement, and even if it was drizzling, it was not enough to wash it away.

"I shouldn't have done that." Hood continued and even through the helmet, Tim could feel the guilt in his voice.

Following the trace with his eyes, Red located the source almost immediately.

He frowned and walked up to Hood.

"You're not tired. Let me see."

The helmet couldn't show Jason's face but his voice was enough for Tim to know he was confused when he spoke. "What? See what?"

Since Hood wasn't moving, Red took the task of circling him, looking for anything that would give away what he was looking for. There was a darker patch of cloth on his back, near the shoulder. Red pressed on it gently just to have Hood making a painful sound and pulling away immediately.

"You're bleeding, Jason. It's probably hurting your back muscles too. You're not tired, you're wounded." Tim held his hand and smiled up at him. "It's okay, don't feel bad about it. Let's call it a night, okay?"

". . . Thank you."

Headcanon that despite being a hearty, corn fed, midwestern boy, Steve is cold. All. The. Time. It’s just a byproduct of being such an athlete his whole life, he just doesn’t really have a lot of body fat to keep himself warm. Anytime the temperature dips below 70F he’s shivering like a chihuahua in a snow storm.

It’s part of the reason he has such an impressive collection of cozy sweaters and warm jackets.

And probably part of the reason he’s so attracted to Eddie, who puts off as much heat as a hyper giant star. Steve can’t help but get caught in his gravity and pulled in. He doesn’t even try to fight the way he leans back into Eddie’s space once he feels how much warmth he radiates.

As a heat seeker this is a GOOD FOOD HC!!

Steve going around with a hot water bottle stuffed down his trousers all the time. Steve tucking his trousers into his socks when he’s at home for MAXIMUM heat. Steve constantly having a hot drink to warm his hands on. Steve keeping a blanket in his car incase it gets cold when he’s waiting to pick up the kids from hellfire.

He jokes he’s going to have to marry a hot water bottle with the amount of nights he spends with his. Accepts that he’s just Cold and that is It. Always has been, always will be. Except when Eddie shows up and he’s in Steve’s space, radiating heat and warmth and he’s not shy of getting close Steve thinks things might change. Eventually Steve eases up on the heat seeking, ditches the hot water bottle, why would he need it when he has a life sized one in his bed every night? But the socks stay tucked into the sweats, even The Great Eddie Munson’s powers are not strong enough to keep Steve’s feet warm. And that’s okay, nobody’s perfect, right?

Sanji!! One of my biggest Sanji headcanons atm is that this cook is not cis. Sanji goes to Momoiro Island and comes back with a whole new gender. I'm very attached to both genderfluid!Sanji and transfem!Sanji headcanons.

All of the crew is totally chill with this (Luffy and Zoro possibly don't notice that anything changed at all) but Nami especially is very happy about this. Nami and fem!Sanji are the absolute best of friends (and maybe they also kiss sometimes too).
