@blsantos As far as being hesitant to read long fics, I totally get that. Sometimes when I see a large number of chapters it can overwhelm me at first too. However, at least for me, the story is one of those that I haven’t been able to put down since I started! Like I just said, I started it only yesterday and I am now at chapter 38 lol. Also, some of the chapters are really short, so don’t let the number scare you. Besides, I think with most stories once you’ve found something you like, you’re always wanting more anyway!
For those of you who haven’t heard of Wars of the Heart by @midnightfire1222 , it’s a werehog Sonamy story taking place in an alternate universe. If you like DND or fantasy novels, this one is right up your alley. It’s also so hot! 🥵 Just a warning to my younger followers or those with aversion to violence/spice, it’s intended for an older audience. But if that doesn’t bother you, I HIGHLY recommend it!

You don’t have to reply to this, but I just wanted to apologize for the previous ask!! I didn’t mean to slander Sebastian, or to better word it, your own Sebastian that you created (not sure if I’m wording this right lol) in your art/fan fiction. I didn’t mean to imply he was just an overall violent or rude character; I was just trying to poke fun at the run-ins he’s had with Leander & Lawley in your own little oc world. I know those encounters in your writing had plenty of backstory and reasoning behind them, and you didn’t just write him to be someone who outlashes at others unreasonably. I should have expressed myself properly and not just assumed you would automatically read my intention from such little words. It was definitely careless of me since, as someone who’s been admiring your work for a while, I know you’ve had issues here and there with people bashing your work and not understanding the complexity of your story, and my small comment where I said ‘cough violent cough’ definitely could have been thrown into those critiques without me further explaining myself in the previous ask. I’m not sure if I’m being a bit overdramatic by sending you this long apology, but I genuinely felt bad seeing how my joke didn’t land and possibly made you upset. Again, I really appreciate all you do for the fandom, and I’m sorry!

🎉Happy End of 2023!!! 🎉 it was so nostalgic going through all of my stuff to put this together, I still remember drawing each one and it simultaneously felt like forever ago and just yesterday!
This year was eventful, I got affectionally dragged into villain leo (thank u @starrcrossrose ) and made an insane group of friends. I didn’t think this was all gonna happen when I joined this fandom but oughhh I’m glad it did.

The LIs Cuddling ✨
Kayn: Arms draped gently around you. Small kisses against your hair/forehead/cheek. Soft, quiet murmurs as they ask you how your day was.
Druk: I imagine it feels really safe. Big ole arms around you pulling you close. He feels really warm. You’re both kinda doing your own thing but it feels comfortable.
Fenir: Hesitant and like kinda stiff at first. Face is very red. Will eventually ease into it and relax in your arms, but his face will still feel really hot.
Etza: Quiet but in a good way. It’s like that quiet comfort where neither of you feel pressured to hold a conversation if you don’t want to. Just a safe space to decompress together.
Kuna’a: Actually I feel like he really likes cuddles. They bring out the inner lazy brat in him. Gets easily sucked into cuddling and throws a small tantrum when cuddle time is over.
Aisa: Lots of (gentle) physical touch. Absentmindedly plays with your hair or rubs your arm. Likes to feel you close. Almost kinda like… mesmerized by your presence.

Favorite new character you found from any media as of late?
(A favorite of mine lately has been The General/Mr. Villain from Mr. Villain’s Day off. Though I started it back in late January. It’s a really funny cute slice of life anime about an alien villain from the perspective of the equivalence of a power rangers having fun days off and a love for pandas, I totally recommend it!)
This is a picture of the show it has about 13 episodes in sub and the season just finished and has been a real help for me when I’m stress and been a treat at the end of the week when it came out.

Nos-4-A2 from the Buzzlight Year of Star Command cartoon! It's a old cartoon, but rewatching that show was a fun NOStalgic trip! 🤣
I have also been playing a beta version of a Nsfw game called Cloud Meadow and I think Brontide has a fun personality, between being this tanky warrior vs the silly blushy guy you see in the art sometimes. It gives me the vibes that he gets silly and shy with the romanto and that is very cute! = D
Also the weird silly clown man that appears? He is weird, he is silly, he has puppets on his hands that talk to you. Is he throwing voices or are the puppets sentient? I have no idea!
Though I have to say I am personally really drawn to the shadowy NPCs you run into, they are human shaped but drawne in a way where their features are obscurred.♡A♡ ) You can't tell if they are just regular humans or if they are some kind of shadowy beings and.. I really like the mystery and think they are cool looking. Also the resident mage has a really neat design and I wish you could talk to them more too. . .
Of course I take a liking to the guys that you can't romance in the romance game ahahaha 🤣🤣🤣

This is a little long so I’ll put it below the break:
I currently work entirely digital in the Procreate app using an iPad Pro (3rd Gen). I used to use photoshop but then Adobe got greedy and I refuse to pay a subscription service for a drawing program I had already paid hundreds out of pocket to use.
My go to brush is the “MaxU Ballpoint Pen” from the Max Comic brush pack. Easily searched on google, he’s very well known in the community for his brushes and offers free ones sometimes I think. Here’s a demo of the brush mentioned and some of my other favorites:
For my process of a full illustration:
I go Concept - Thumbnail Sketch - Reference (if needed) - Sketch Part 2 - CleanUp - Flat (Local) Colors - Shadow Overlay - Finish & Texturizing (the glamor) - Highlights
It seems sort of long and tedious looking at my list now, but I don’t always bring a drawing into Thunderdome Art Piece Territory. Often they stay as part of my digital sketchbook. So then I stop somewhere around ‘CleanUp’ and Flat Color.
Here’s a video time lapse of a recent drawing to show you a quick glance at me cleaning up a sketch from the initial gesture/thumbnail. I don’t usually draw over the sketch on a separate layer - just erase it out of existence and draw it over:
Otherwise everything stays pretty loosely-goosey! It’s takes me a long time to bring it to this stage bc my drawing involves lots of little lines and building up darker edges with that ballpoint pen brush. Lots of pushing and pulling until I get the shape and edge I want, like an oil painting (if you’re familiar sorry lol).

I have a hard time committing to reading long fanfictions so I don’t really read any aside from one shots.
I am still an avid follower of yours because your art and drawings are INSANELY GOOD. Like, professional-looking good. Criminal-it’s-only-fan-art-and-not-paid-art good 😂. I’m thirsty for every drawing you throw at us in your magnanimity, there’s that pinch sweetness into it.. idk how to even describe it. (I actually forget if I made an actual lore post with all the stuff in one place rip) my lore is also pretty disorganized for most stuff, I'm just doin whatever, but here's some of the more fleshed out lore I have.
The reverse aus mostly follow similar storyline points to canon, with diversions due to the characters having different personalities. The satam one is based on that plot point where Robotnik and Snively are the sole survivors of a space colony, while the Archie one is based on the overlander-mobian war thing.
Both Satam and Archie reverse have a bloody war (which Julian served in as a medic before becoming Minister of Medical Science) that ends in The Great Peace, ushered in by Jules Hedgehog. However the "peace" is only in name, as the empire of anti-King Acorn is fraught with oppression and state violence. The lower classes starve while being crushed under Acorn's brutal rule. Julian and Johnny, along with several other revolutionaries, succeed in overthrowing the tyrant, but the kingdom is thrown into turmoil in the process. Princess Alicia, (anti-Sally), takes this opportunity to throw her father into the Zone of Silence with the help of anti-Sonic (this happens later than Robotnik's coup in the canon universe).
The Suppression Squad (anti-FF) is either staging a coup, being mercenaries for whichever forces are fighting for power, or just being general troublemakers at this point. Anti-Sonic hasn't yet become known as Scourge. Julian retires from his position as minister and sets up his clinic. Johnny manages the security and more actively fights against any would-be tyrants/terrorists. He doesn't have the same code against violence as Julian.
As the Suppression Squad gets more violent powerful, and Scourge starts his conquest of Moebius in earnest, Johnny and Julian flee into the Great Forest and create a force-field that makes their encampment invisible to unwanted guests. They take refugees and injured people in.
Here's some of my reverse StC lore. It follows the "Ovi Kintobor was transformed into Doctor Robotnik in an accident" storyline, but it has Kintobor being part of a very suppressive, fascist ideology. Robotnik is the product of Kintobor's repressed kindness and compassion, things that Kintobor would see as weakness and treachery. The badniks (goodniks?) in this au are like ai life support systems and mobility devices for disabled Moebians, as well as protection from danger. They're like mech suits that protect their little buddies.
Reverse Sonic Underground is based on some of my conjecture about the ppl from the Six is a Crowd episode. Robotnik was once the music teacher for the triplets. Anti-Aleena ruled over a society similar to the "Great Peace" I described in Satam/Archie, where the upper classes thrived and the average citizen struggled in poverty. Robotnik was part of the lower class, and suffered from an ailment which he couldn't afford to have looked at (also lived in a dirty-ass apartment with nasty water and mold probably). Despite this, he did genuinely care about the triplets, even being closer to them as a parental figure than their mother. At some point, his illness caused him to develop necrosis in his arms and legs (or something I'm still figuring it out) and he had to have them all amputated, nearly dying in the process. Aleena arranged for him to have cybernetic limbs attached, and moved him out of his deathtrap apartment and into the palace. (that's the backstory and I'm still figuring out how they got to the point in the episode)

I'm like a scant 5mins into the enhanced demo and, Crescence, this is stunning?? I can feel the love, skill, care, learning and sheer hard work you've put into this.
