When you had confessed to Teru you thought you would be rejected too, just like the girls who had poured their hearts out when they wrote their love letters for him.
You expected to have your heart broken as you prepared for the words that would shatter your heart as if it was just a fragile plate.
Getting rejected by the handsome prince isn't the worst that you expect; it was the sheer embarrassment that you'd have to deal with as you walk down the halls of the school.
You could only wonder what had happened to the girls that had gotten rejected by him, were they able to quickly move on?
Unfortunately, unlike them, you surely aren't someone who is able to handle rejection lightly, especially if it's from him.
But— Thank the heavens! The result was much more fruitful than you thought it would be. Pushing the negative thoughts of what people would think aside, Teru accepted your confession.
The both of you had agreed to keep the relationship on the low because Teru had many fangirls— and you know what would possibly happen if they found out.
Teru is worried about what would happen to you. Some girls are driven by love to the point they take it too far if they heard news about their crush having a significant other.
That's what led to this — apparently, a certain someone found out about your relationship between Teru and spread the news to the girls, particularly the ones who were known to be obsessed over him.
“Are you seriously Minamoto-senpai's girlfriend?” Kyoko doubted, right after hitting you multiple times earlier along with her best friend Mayu.
“Oh gosh, he must've been out of his mind!” Mayu snorted. No, their parents must've been out of their minds for giving them names that contradicted their personalities. Though, you suppose it wasn't their parents fault their daughters grew up to be bitches a pain in the neck.
“Minamoto-senpai is too good for you, y'know? He's like a prince charming and you..” Right after finishing her sentence, Mayu grimaced: showing a face of disgust. “Don't let the rumours get into your head..”
Well, that's true.. No. You weren't going to be gullible with all the stanky comments Mayu and Kyoko were throwing at you. But it still does bring some tears into your eyes — not enough for them to roll down your face though.
Oh come on, Teru had just comforted you over your insecurities 2 days ago and just plain words from two girls were already melting down the wall of confidence that Teru built up.
“Augh, come on.. is the crybaby gonna cry again? This is just a routine now” Kyoko sneered, annoyed at the routine she herself made. If she thought bullying you was such a chore then why doesn't she just stop? She might as well just be sadistic.
Crybaby. That was the nickname they gave you when they started this mess; ever since they noticed that you were awfully close with Teru. Way before you and him started dating.
You stood up. Well, at least tried to. The bruises Kyoko and Mayu left on your legs didn't really do you any good. Mayu had already beat you into pushing you against the wall before you could stand up.
Just as the two girls were gonna start berrating you again, a cough was heard from behind. The two turned around to see the one and only Akane Aoi. The two froze in fright, wondering what she was going to do.
Her petite figure walked up to the three of you, her indigo hair tied up into two circle sections behind her head as usual. Aoi stared at you with an expression Kyoko and Mayu couldn't read.
Kyoko and Mayu's next move proved that they were idiots. “Akane-san! The princess of the school! Wanna join us over here?” Kyoko suggested, earning a confused look from the indigo-haired girl.
“This little minx sitting on the dirty floor over here is supposedly dating the one and only Teru Minamoto. Could you believe how absurd that rumour is!? Especially since you and Minamoto-kun dated before..” Mayu babbled. Where did she get that information from? As far as you knew, Teru and Aoi never felt any romantic feelings towards each other. Akane would fume at the thought of that.
“What are you talking about?” Aoi looked like she was gonna burst at any moment, well, at least she looked like she was in your perspective. Because of Kyoko and Mayu not being one of Aoi's close friends, the two bullies in front of you wouldn't be able to relate with you being able to read Aoi and her expressions.
“I heard—” “Whatever you're gonna babble next, just shut up. This bathroom is already reeking because of the stank you and Kyoko are emitting. It'd stink more if you open your mouth again.” Aoi shut Mayu up, already fed up with the two girls in front of her.
“It's best you leave (name)-chan alone, unless you want this audio tape sent to the supreme student council office, where Minamoto-senpai would hear it.”
Hearing Teru's name and seeing Aoi shoving a videotape into their faces — repeating everything they said to you, the two girls quickly dashed out of the area.
It was just you and Aoi now. You stared at her as if she hung up the stars, bowing and thanking her profusely again and again for saving you from them. Aoi only crouched down and helped you to stand up. She then put your arm around her shoulder, guiding you as you two walk together towards the nurse's office.
The nurse's office wasn't far. Lucky day for you. It wasn't like you were dreading the time you were walking with Aoi anyway, while you were walking earlier, she had wiped off your tears and helped bring back a smile on your face. She joked about how the two girls didn't have any room to talk to you even — they literally are in the lowest ranks in the class when it comes to intelligence, while you and Aoi are in the top 10.
The nurse was generous (she always is) to have you excused to any of last the classes you had, and with Aoi's help, the teacher agreed to just sign you as ‘excused’.
When it was time to go home, the bruises on your legs have already healed a lot more than you expected. You thanked the nurse and grabbed your back (that Aoi dropped off earlier) so that you can head back home.
Unexpectedly, Aoi was there just as you opened the door of the nurse's office to leave. She said that she'd walk with you on the way home, as the both of your houses were close to each other.
“Where's Nene-chan?” You asked her.
“Hmm.. I don't know either. She's been spending a lot of time in the bathroom lately, do you think my story about Hanako-san took a toll on her?” Aoi responded. The thought of a ghost in the girl's bathroom sent chills down your spine — At least Hanako-san is a girl though, well, rumoured to be.
“AO-CHAN~!!” Ah, you knew that voice. Turning around in sync with Aoi, Akane walked up to you guys with a smile on his face. Though you felt like you were third wheeling..
A conversation started with Akane and Aoi as the three of you were walking. Akane invited himself to walk the both of you home (by both he definitely just meant Aoi, you didn't really care though).
Aoi didn't see a way to escape from this, the three of your houses were close and there wasn't an excuse she could make up except for “We're gonna have a girl's night. Only girls are allowed” and Akane would just unknowingly counter her by saying “I'm only walking with you until you arrive at your house, it'll be fine!”
The walk back home ended with Akane trying to have a long conversation with Aoi, only for it to be a short conversation. He'd try over and over again while you are just there; observing the two of them. Sometimes you'd often see Aoi's eyes light up more than they usually do, so you didn't bother to include yourself into their conversations.
Though, you really did want to ask what Aoi was going to be doing tomorrow. Tomorrow's Saturday after all, meaning no school to stress about.
*Audio file sent* ...What the hell?
Teru didn't know what to say or feel at the moment. He was just cooking for his siblings earlier right now and they are eating joyfully like a happy family. (Cue Kou excusing himself to go to the bathroom to barf)
A single audio file ruined his evening — even worse that what happened in the audio file had something to do with his girlfriend.
He messaged you, not to ask if the audio was real, he already had enough evidence. But to ask you if you were okay. You replied once he greeted you, but left him on read as soon as he typed the message: ‘Akane and Akane-san informed me about what happened to you today. Can we talk about it? Please?’ He spammed you with messages. He was worried.
After a while, his messages were left on sent. ‘..I'll be visiting you tomorrow.’ That was his last messaged before Teru had turned off his phone. As he looked up, expecting to see Kou and Tiara, he realized he was sthe only one sitting in the dinner table. Where did they go?
You were nervous. It was the crack of dawn and you checked to see Teru's messages again, only to be left frightened because of the news that he'll be visiting you.
No. It wasn't like your parents had any issues with your boyfriend or anything, they loved him. What you were nervous about was the inevitable conversation that is going to happen today.
You weren't very much of a productive person during the weekdays, so you opted to take a bath later instead of right now in the early morning. Not like Teru would mind anyway.
It wasn't long before 7:47 AM, exactly the time Teru arrived at the doorstep of your home. Your mom, though surprised that your boyfriend unexpectedly visited so early, welcomed him warmly.
Before your mom could lead him to the living room so he could sit down while she goes to your room to call for you, he already saw you taking a sneak peak of him from the stairs. Immediately, as if in a emergency, Teru excused himself and hurriedly walked upstairs to your room almost tripping halfway.
“..Young love~” You mother sighed in happiness for her daughter.
“I don't know, it kind of looks like they're gonna break up.” Your father broke your mom from her dream of you getting married to Teru.
“Don't say that!” She hissed at him, grabbing her slipper—
“Please let me in sweetheart,” Teru begged in a soft tone, not wanting to overwhelm you with everything that was happening.
You cracked the door open slightly. You saw him smile reassuringly. You then opened it enough for Teru to walk in, as Teru is finally inside he waited for you to close your door. He knew you liked it best when conversations between you and him were in private.
“You could've just called.. you didn't have to come here.” You told him, only to be countered by his next words.
“I knew you wouldn't reply anyway when you hear my voice from the phone.” Teru responded, only to get a playful hit from you.
“So..” The room was silent as you locked your door for privacy, fearing that one of you're parents would possibly walk in.
“How long has this bullying been going on for?” Teru asked as he walked closer to you, holding your hand in his and rubbing his thumb across your knuckles.
“..Way before you and I started dating.” You answered truthfully, it was better to speed up this conversation than to slower it down and tell lies.
At that, Teru froze. “Why didn't you tell me?” Almost immediately, Teru used his other hand (the one not holding yours) to wipe away the tears that were starting to brim in your eyes.
Teru knew you like he knew his own mind. He knew that you were getting overwhelmed and we're crying because of it. He could almost predict every move that you were gonna do.
Teru smiled at you softly, then gently held the back of your head. Sobs that came out of your mouth turned muffled as he gently pushed your face into his t-shirt. You wrapped your arms around him, feeling a sense of comfort.
“If you don't want to talk about it now, then that's okay. There's no use dwelling on the past.” Teru muttered as he kissed the top of your head. “I'll deal with those girls at school. You won't have anything to worry about.”
Teru continues to comfort you through your muffled sobs, you hear a series of “shh” and words of encouragement throughout the whole ordeal.
Teru tilted your head up to meat his eyes and wiped away any tears still on your face. Also, he used his shirt to wipe of your snot too — much to your embarrassment.
After that he peppered your face with kisses, resulting into the two of you cuddling in your bed the rest of the morning. But your mom called the two of you down stairs when she noticed you haven't eaten breakfast yet.
The rest of the day ended with Teru hanging out with you and your family. Teru invited you to go on a date tomorrow — his treat ofcourse (nothing changed, he was always the one who pays). Tiara decided to come along that day, not that you minded.
Sunday passed, and the walk to school with Aoi was peaceful if you just ignore Akane in the background. The bruises have healed, thanks to your mom and Teru. Dad was the one stressing over the many things he had to buy from the store and pharmacy.
“You look better now. Guessing the talk between you and Minamoto-senpai went well?” Aoi asked as the two of you were at the school gate. Akane got called by the other student council's to hurry up because of an urgent early meeting.
“It went very well.” I answered, giving her a thankful smile. “Thanks again, for protecting me that day..”
“No need.” The two of you walked towards the classroom. “Oh! Nene-chan is finally here!” Aoi chimed, delighted to see her friend. Her absence in classes made her seem like she went missing.
You followed Aoi as she went to converse with Nene. You also gave out some opinions and thoughts about the topic the three of you were conversing about, but only like once or six times since you really didn't know a lot about supernaturals.
The teacher finally arrived, students immediately went to go sit down on their seats. Akane was still busy with the student council meeting you suppose. But what was weird is Kyoko and Mayu not being there chattering, judging everyone in their field of view as if they had any room to talk.

Since the moment you got into the school Hanako noticed your presence, specially since you are just not anyone, you are an exorsist, and a really powerful one
Knowing that Hanako spend some time following you close (with you knowing it or not), watching over you from afar trying to know more about you to make sure you won't represent a problem for his plans (specially because he already has to deal with the Minamoto brothers), however, ass the time pass he can't help but get more and more interested on you, maybe it was that he finds you a funny person to be around, maybe you are, in reality, really caring, maybe even you had showed kindness to the weakest supernaturals (like the Mokkes), or maybe it was just everything about you that mesmerize him
Hanako can't help himself but want to be more and more close to you, reaching the point where he can't even hide well because he just wants to approach to you, that is why the moment you confront him (either by attacking him by surprise or just kindly asking him what the hell he wants) is like a reality check for him, he is startled by it for a moment but quickly tries to recover his charming and misterios facade, introducing himself as the honorable no. 7, leader of the seven mysteries (even if you already know who he is)
He doesn't want to let his guard down around you yet and still he can't help but wanting to spend all the time he can with you, it doesn't matter if you find him annoying or even if you want to exorcised him, Hanako just brush it off and even playfuly challenge you to do it (however provoke you isn't his smartest move since that one time you attacked him he barely made it alive)
Hanako wants to be careful, wants to focus on his work and help Yashiro with her wish, but he can't stop thinking about you, wanting to be around you, even if you don't really like him he wants to mess with you, and he can't stop himself from following his heart and just follow you around the school, clinging onto you and teasing you here and there. Somehow you two quickly become friends but Hanako wants more, he craves for more, for him it doesn't matter if you see him as annoying he can't just go away, it hurts his heart when he isn't with you even if you just send him angry glares (however if you are kind and even playful with him that just feed his obsession for you)
Hanako doesn't show it off much his obsession and dependence for you and just cover it up with his charming and clingy personality, when he is with you he can't just think straight, he just want to have fun with you! he want to see you smile! he wants for you to be happy with him! But when you aren't around he tend to overthink a lot, he is nothing but a mere ghost, and even worst, an assassin, how he dares to think that he deserve to be happy by your side? And you are an exorsist! You should hate him! you probably hate him (if you actually express that you want to exorcise him he laugh at it in front of you, but is something that hurt him a lot, in the moments when he feels specially down or anxious/insecure he actually thinks on letting you just exorcise him)
Hanako is really demanding, he is taking your attention from anyone and anything else all the time, specially when he is jealous (what happen constantly), clinging to you protectively and possessively even if you are the only one who can see him (he actually takes advantage of this), sometimes he lets you alone but not complety, if he actually manage to make you mad at him for how clingy he is he will let you and just watch you from afar (after scolding himself pretty harsh, the more angry you are the more harsh he is with himself)
Hanako finds both scary and incredibly attractive how stronge you are, he is completely mesmerize whenever he sees you use your powers, even if is against him (he barely make it of because he is too distracted being in lovestruck) and even when you are clearly more powerful than him that doesn't stop him for trying to help you and protect you from any danger (for what he sees as a danger), he wants to show you that he is more than a simple assassin, that what he had done in the past doesn't define him (he is actually scare that you don't see him as more, the thought of you seeing him just as a mere assassin or supernatural make him incredibly anxious, he fears it even if you don't see him that way)
Tsukasa Yugi
Tsukasa doesn't have a great title like his brother, he is just in the school because he has a goal to achieve and because he wants to have fun, so for him you could easily go unnoticed for a while, it could be that Sakura notice that you are a powerful exorsist or that he sees you using your powers to exorcise a supernatural one day
Tsukasa doesn't really fear you so the moment you catch his attention he waste no time and just approach to you, he wants to tell you that what you did was amazing!! He wants to aks you how did you do that and where you learned to do that!!
Is probably that he scare or trigger you and you attack him out of instinct for how he appeared out of nowhere, he will try to avoid the hit at the best of his habilities and still is probably that you manage to hurt him, however he won't really take it bad, maybe just tells you that attacking him by surprise it wasn't fair or even asking you if that means that you want to play with him and attack you too, turning it into a fight. However, if you don't react bad or against him Tsukasa will be just making you a lot of questions (even some that doesn't have nothing to do with your powers and he almost doesn't gives you time to answer) and with every question he does he get closer to you, until the point where he is just inches away from your face
Once Tsukasa is interested in you his interest grows more and more with time, quickly becoming an obsesion! He can compare the feelings he has for you with the feelings he hold for Amane! The inmense loves he feels for you is your sentence, no matter how stronge you are Tsukasa isn't going to give up with you, the only way to get away from him is exorcising him, vanishing him from this world, and even if that happen he won't be sad for it, in his mind is an act out of love
Tsukasa isn't exactly delusional, but he firmly believes that you love him as much as he loves you even if you try to deny it he won't accept it
No matter how it happens your first met once you catch Tsukasa's attention there is no way that you will be able to get away from him, since that day Tsukasa follows you around whenever he has the time or just want to do it, either by following you from afar or directly by your side, if you ask him to go away he will ask you why innocently, if you ask kindly he may leave you alone for now but if not he probably just cling onto you to mess with you (he finds funny your annoyed expression)
Tsukasa knows you are stronge but he doesn't fear you, he has no problem with going full strength against you if you two end up fighting (as much as he doesn't has problems with killing other supernaturals he doesn't want to kill you, not when you are so funny to be around). Tsukasa finds really interesting and funny to see you doing your work as an exorsist so he sometimes ask Sakura to change the rumors to something really big and dangerous just for you to having to fight against them, and when it isn't that he himself mess with the most weak supernatural to try to create one big supernatural just for you to having to fight it (he is even proud about his creating and ask you how it was, if it was good and if you liked it)
Tsukasa quickly becomes demanding and pretty possessive, he doesn't understand and doesn't care that you go to that school to take classes and more than once he will make you skip classes just so you two could hang out or because he wants to show you something, even if you don't want he will drag you with him because Tsukasa isn't going to accept a no as response
Little by little Tsukasa start to completely monopolize you, for him it doesn't matter if he brings you problems in your personal life, he just want you to himself, also he has no problem with resorting to dirty tricks, like forcing you or scaring you to be with him, even if he has to attack you by surprise just to have all your attention for himself
Tsukasa doesn't see anything bad in his actions, not even when he is practically kidnapping you by locking you with him in the radio club or at the boundary of a mistery just so you two can spend time together, even when you can easily find you way out of there that doesn't stop him from doing it again and again
Tsukasa always act childish and playful with you, but he is totally willing to throw off whatever threat stand between the two of you, it doesn't matter if is a human or a supernatural, it doesn't even matter if that threat is you, if he has to make you change you mind and make you give up to him he is totally willing to do it, it doesn't matter if in the process hurts your body or your mind in his eyes is just part of the fun! he is just getting you ready for all the fun you two are going to have together!
Teru Minamoto
The Minamoto Family has been engaged in exorcism for a long time and Teru, for being the firstborn of the next generation, he has been trained to be an exorsist since he was really young. Since you are an exorsist too that is the main reason why the two of you met in the first place, and probably you two know since a young age too
For being so stronge the two of you are the main people in charge of exorcising the supernaturals around the city and you two have been working together for a long time, and for that Teru is grateful, being an exorsist is a really rough job but having someone by his side it makes it more bearable
Since the start Teru felt atracted to you, maybe is that you are really stronge or maybe that you can understand how he feels for having to spend all his time in this job, even if you are more introvert or even shy he has no problem with being the one who start being the talktive one at first
The relasionship you two have together quickly grows for how much time you two spend together, even you two had spend some time training together too at some point. As well, his feelings slowly grows stronger and stronger with the time and still because of your job it could go unnoticed for a long time how clingy and possessive he grows with you, hidding it by his excitment to see you again and to work together (what he always express, specially if you get flustered, making you flustered just increase his ego)
Teru doesn't like much his job, having to spend all his live fighting with supernaturals isn't his ideal and you sharing the same fate with him is something that troubled him but at the same time make things a little better, he loves that thanks to being exorsist he can spend almost all your time together and monopolize you but in the other hand he hates that you give your life to fight supernaturals without other option
Sometimes, while things are a little more peaceful or you two are taking a break Teru likes to talk about what you two could do if you weren't busy all the time, jokinly telling you about dates he will like to take you in or even a future together without having to be exorcist with his usual charming smile, even if you take it as a joke or ask him to stop for being flustered he just softly laugh at your reaction but he actually mean what he said, and he isn't planing to let you go anytime soon (it irritated him a little if you take it as a joke but he is confident that with time you will see how serious he is being with this)
Your relasionship could be seem very calm since Teru is really good at hidding his possessiveness, however there is something that dangerously triggers him, he had been feeling like you two have an unbreakable bond, that you two are mean to be together and that nothing can separate you two, he feels like everything goes perfect between you two until he sees you outside your job, seeing you one day hanging out with others (or if you two go to the same school it trigger him seeing others being too close and touchy with you, however for being the school prince he has an advantage), even if they are just your friends is pretty shocking for him
Teru is really possessive, he does not own his own life and it isn't like has other option so you and your relationship is something that he feels that he can fully possessive and have control over it so seeing you be happy with others make him anxious, he may be too shocked and angry the moment he sees you so he will just confront you about it later (but still trying to seem calm). Also, thanks to this Teru grows a little more controlling, trying to lead you to go to the same school with him (even using the mysteries as an excuse) just for you two to spend more and more time together, and he being able do watch your interaction with other and rip off any possible threat
Most of the time Teru tries to keep his charming facade while talking to you but it could be that, since you know him for a long time you can tell that he isn't bring sincere, something is bothering him, still he will just cover it with saying that he is worried about you, but after this he is more and more possessive and a little more manipulative, trying to lull you to do what he wants, he doesn't trust in the people around you and he will try to make you distrust them too
Teru can go as far as training until he feels his body shatter and feeling short of breath every day to be able to become more and more strong until he finally surpass yourself in power so you could depend on him, as well to have an advantage over you
Akane Sumire
Since a young age Sumire knew that her fate was to be sacrificed to the god to bring peace to the village, she hates it but she just accept it because in reallity she doesn't really have another option, however she never lost her smile
After the village lost the last exorsist of the Minamoto Clan Sumire started to train to be able to protect the village as the Kannagi, although it could be that you are part of Minamoto Clan as the next exorcist in training or that you came to the village one day and were welcome to take the place as the exorcist, in any case Sumire is really willing to meet you and excited to learn from you
Sumire isn't the type to fall in love immediatly, specialy with her position, so you two start as friends, quickly becoming close and despite all the hate and warnings of the villagers it become pretty common to see you, Sumire and Hakubo together around
Sumire always plays innocent with that smiles of her, but the moment she warms up with you she start to be more clingy and truly smiles at you. Sumire isn't always honest with her feelings with you, she tend to complain a lot about how bad temporary husband Hakubo and still, deep down in her heart, the only person she wants to be with is you, Sumire lies during training with you saying that she can't do it just for you to focus your completely attention in her a little longer to explain her how to do it again, even more just so you will touch her to explain her how to hold the weapons, Sumire lies and smiles like if she doesn't hate that place, like if she doesn't think that you and Hakubo are the only worthy people of protect in there, and Sumire isn't complety sincere when he tells you that she likes your company because in reality she wants you all for herself, she wants to trap you in her arms, she want for you to depend on her and NEED her as much as she does with you
Also, Sumire loves to play innocent with you, just like when she gets into more troubles just for you to came and stand up for her, defending her from the other villagers, just as she gets really aggresive towards who dare to say something bad about you or start questioning your relasionship
Little by little Sumire start to monopolize all your time with every excuse she can, acting like a perfect wife to you too, healing your injuries carefuly and with love, making you flowers crowns, physicaly clinging to you, acting all cute and innocent, anything she can do to make you fall in her trap to make you hers forever, Hakubo knows exactly what she is doing but he isn't going to say anything about it, he haven't been asked to do it after all
Sumire admire your strength, she truly find it amazing but it isn't really a threaten for her or her plans to be with you forever, it would be even an advantage since she is really smart and can easily lull you to do what she wants, and even if the manipulation doesn't work it doesn't matter, she has learned a lot from you and she can always ask Hakubo to force you or restrain you until you finally accept to be with her
Sumire can't forget about her position as the Kannagi, even if she tries Sumire is still fully aware of her fate, she had given up some time ago choosing to just enjoy the time she had and hoping for all the village to fall into hell after her dead, however now that you are in her live she wants to stay alive a little longer just to be with you, to have you, so some days before the ritual cames she talks to Hakubo about it, saying that it would be amazing for the three of you to just go away and start a new life, go somewhere where all of you can be together, finishing her speach by asking Hakubo to end with the village, make them live a hell in the earth just like she always wanted so the three of you could just leave and Hakubo can't say no when he is asked to do something, however this time he isn't doing it just because he had been ordered to do so

You say in a tone that was unfamilliar to him, a soft, frigid tone, with a tinge of timid and nervousness that laces your voice.

That day flashes Teru's mind seconds as he hesitated to draw his blade, the lightning that usually emitted from it dims down to small stings of electric waves
Today isn't as different as that day teru said to his mind. Nothing changed. He convinced himself

"Ahhh- my alyssum is dying!!" You moped, hovering an umbrella over it, in an attempt to save it even just a little bit knowing well that the recent pouring rain of japan would kill this plant of yours
You failed to notice right behind you he stood. Teru's heart thump in a suffocating way

Lightning struck from from faraway, though when the light flashed your figure his eyes widened.
He shook his head, it's only an illussion, he must be imagining things...nothing's changed. He looks up after noticing your form no longer holds a shadow

You didn't flinch. You were used to lightning after all
"Maybe i should build a hut for my plants" you joked, looking back to him. Raising an eyebrow at his stiffness, he stood there unmoving, contemplating on his next move.
"And here i thought i was devastated! Ahahaha!" you joked once again, trying to lift up the mood, despite him staying silent. Your laugh only sounding like a distant voice outside of his dome of thoughts that he locked himself into
You went up to him, still frozen, now lifting the umbrella to him, worried he might get sick by how damped his uniform was getting, letting the rain hit you
Though you failed to notice for how much you stood in the rain, your uniform stayed ever so dry
"Teru are you okay?" Your hand went to his cheek
You remain unfazed while Teru stood there still frozen from how he couldn't feel anything from the contact
the proof was right on his face yet he seeks more excuses .
He denied it. How you complained about how your friends ignored you, how you always feel cold these days, how you're never hungry or thirsty, how you would smile and say your body never hurts anymore. Each and every change that you present to him he ignored every sign.
Perhaps he wanted to keep you longer than you should've lingered.
But with this simple gesture, it feels like reality is forcing him to wake up out of his stupid dream and just end your suffering.
Funny how he never once thought there would be a future where he is not by your side, yet now maybe it felt like a distant dream.
He tried to remember that day again, closing his eyes, not wanting you to see how reddened his eyes are now

A cruel answer to give to the one you cherish in this very lovely garden. He never really payed the gardening club a frequent visit. But now he wishes he did seeing you tending your garden with such care, it brings a smile to his face. Distracting him from the nonsensical question you had just asked
Though you gave him a meaningful look, a look he didn't understand at that moment, it confused him at that moment, yet he payed no mind to it

he couldn't bring himself to finish that very sentence, the very person that he loved with all his heart became a being that he swore to erase
You've seen a lot of side of him, even a side which he cried and stuttered. Yet each and everytime you witness it always breaks your heart
You looked into his eyes, maybe for the last time. He could tell by the look in your eyes that you knew all along. It hurts him even more
All the signs...it wasn't signs, it was sirens of clues that you lit for him to see. Yet he chose to close his eyes
With each and every thump on his chest, he can't bring himself to do it, he fell to the ground clutching his chest, his katana made a loud clunk when it collided to a stone, making it ring through the garden in an eerie way
You kneeled in front of him embracing him in what he feels like a gush of wind

You walked over to the stove, dumping the bowl into the pan as you heard little footsteps running into the kitchen.
" Big brother! (name)! I'm hungry! " Tiara ran towards Teru, looking up at him.
" (name) will be done with cooking soon, " He squatted down in front of her, smiling. " Then we'll eat, okay Princess? "
She nodded happily. " Then (name) can play with me after! " She looked over at you. " Please?! "
You laughed a little. " I'll have to go home after. " You looked over at her, she seemed to be pouting.
" But I wanna play with you! " She pleaded.
" Oh, how could you say no to her? I'll take over and- "

Is immediately put off by what you’re saying and is immediately concerned, and gets even more concerned once you get together and just stares nervously at you while stuttering, not knowing what to say
“That’s so embarrassing, if that were me I would kill myself no doubt! Being so stupid like that, I wouldn’t be able to live with myself!” You casually said while looking at a post on your phone.
“O-oh… umm…” Kou is at a loss for words sometimes and tries to brush it off by moving onto something happier to distract you from thoughts like those
When you make a joke that’s one day too far he genuinely seems so much more concerned and ask if you’re okay. He gets so worried about you that it’s best not to make jokes like that near him.
If you don’t show up the next day, he gets worried and is immediately trying to leave school early even though he knows Teru will berate him later for it, he needs to see you’re okay and when he arrives to your house and sees you are, he’s very serious about not making jokes like those again and is invites you to his house more often to distract yourself and is willing to help you get help
Teru Minamoto
Gives you a nervous smile when you joke about suicide and even when you you’re dating he still gives you an obvious fake smile to not hurt your feelings. He knows that outright saying that if you need someone talk to talk to can be annoying sometimes so he’ll try to subtly let you know he’s there
Whether it’s from talking about a topic of a documentary of a tragic life of some celebrity and all they needed help to having Kou telk you that you’re part of the family and that you can tell them anything when you’re over at their house
“I can’t stop messing this up! God I really should’ve taken those pills when I had the chance, what the hell!” You said angrily at the fact you couldn’t get the string through the small hole in the needle.
Teru could only smile at you, he never says anything to your ‘jokes’, but then he stops and just goes to frowning hoping that you’re not being serious
When you don’t show up the next day, he’s not super worried and just assumes you’re late but sends you messages. But after a few hours the messages become more frequent and by the end of the school day he’s running to your house scared. When he sees you’re alright, he’s pissed and says enough is enough and he’s not taking anymore jokes and is instead going to help you
Hanako
He might laugh at your jokes, but it’s only so he doesn’t worry you. He’s not an unfamiliar when it comes to stuff like this and he knows you might now want to talk about it right away so he’s fine with trying to take it slow
On the inside though, his ghostly heart is scared that you’re it joking and you’re actually being serious. He can’t bear the thought of you dying—and especially dying this way so he keeps a close eye on you and has Kou and Yashiro even make sure that you’re doing okay
“God, I’m so stupid and useless” you say with a laugh as you look at your test result and shove the paper back in your bag
Hanako stares at you, and lets out a laugh that’s believe enough. He’s conflicted on what he should do, should he ask how you’re doing? What if you lie to him? Would you even want to talk to him?
It seems as if his worries have come true when you didn’t show up to school the next day and asks if Yashiro or Kou have seen you at all and to message you on those weird electronic things. Yashiro only agrees to go to your house when Hanako asked because she too was worried about you. Hanako waits impatiently the next day and sees you and you tell him you were just feeling sick. If he could, then Hanako would definitely cry and basically forces you to promise to tell him if anything is wrong with a scared and worried expression on his face
Akane Aoi
You’re the most precious person in his life so he takes everything very serious when it comes to you. A paper cut? He’s getting ready to call an ambulance for you and is frantically asking you if you’re okay.
So joking about such topics near him immediately alarms him and hea on full protective mode with asking if you’re joking or not. He takes everything you say seriously, he cares about you a lot so to see you laugh about it, hurts him a little
“What if I jump out this window right now? I really do want to do this test!” You whined and looked over at the window that was right next to where you were sitting.
Akane had a prominent frown on his face, he knew you weren’t exactly mentally okay and you’re jokes were becoming more and more frequent
He’s on full panic mode when you don’t show up to school the next day and the worst possible outcomes are immediately coming to mind. He hopes he’s wrong and is blowing up your phone and is willing to mess up his perfect attendance streak for you, he’ll fix it later. But when he sees you overslept and your phone died because wig wasn’t charged, he’s disappointed. He knew it was getting worse if you dying was what came to mind when you didn’t show up so he pledges to help you

⎯ Let me know the real you, let me see what's behind all that sugary sweetness in your voice. Don't wanna waste time with the push and pull, just say it out loud and I might say it back.
AOI would be surprised hearing your question towards her. For a brief moment you could see how she froze up and contemplated on your words as her smile drops, going silent for a long time before letting out a chuckle.
It was silly, so laughable even. For you to ask her something so insanely cute that she couldn't help but find it so endearing while you sat there looking all pretty, waiting for her answer.
When she had finally came to a conclusion, still refusing to meet your eyes and instead, stared down at her lap while her hair strands covered most of her face. You began to worry if the question had upset her. Oh but you were wrong. So wrong.
If she were to look up at you right now, you'd seen the embarrassing sight of her flushed redden cheeks and lovestruck smile. Obviously she can't let you see that side to her yet. So for now...
"You're so mean ... to ask a girl for her feelings straight up. I should honestly reject you right here and now for that, y'know?"
"Aoi I'm being serious, I want to know..."
It was then that she said it, barely even louder than a whisper, did she say something that made your heart skip a beat.

With a sigh leaving his lips, he suddenly leans in. Coming in so close to you that you could feel his everything. The way he had one hand on your waist while the other was holding your chin to look up at him. Whereas with your hand that rested on his chest, you could feel the rhythm of his heartbeat.
You could feel your face growing hotter by the second from how bold his movements were suddenly, mind especially racing when he leans in even closer to your ear ⎯ whispering while holding you so intimately... You might as well just pass out at this point⎯!!

He's absolutely jaw dropped at hearing your question towards him, him of all people. AKANE is just?? so baffled?? so flustered that he just gapes at you right after you finish talking. Did you not see his previous confessions to you?? Were they so lacklustre you didn't even consider them as confessions!??
But when you started to talk more about the underlining reason as to why you felt the way you felt, he slowly began to understood what you meant. Although he may act goofy at times, he's still the vice president, y'know?
He's bit upset (at himself) but he's not entirely mad about the situation at all, in fact, he's glad to know how he made you feel ⎯ or more so, how you actually felt about him. It's so funny that he can't help but laugh at how silly the situation took a turn to.
Akane tried so hard to impress you that he didn't even realise you felt the same. He's such a fool for you, a lovesick fool who can't keep his hand off of you. Suddenly taking you in his arms to embrace you in a tight hold as his shoulders shake from laughing so much, he loves you. He absolutely loves you.

It took you a second to understand that he is talking about you scars
„O-oh! I totally forgot i had them“
You laughed a little seeing hanako‘s worried expression

Just before he could go to grab some bandages you gently grabbed his hand

You sat down with the ghost

You closed your eyes ready to take the supernaturals attack
….but nothing came
In fact you heard some…unpleasant noises
You opened your eyes just to see tsukasa smashing the supernaturals face against the floor
You stood up glad that you didn’t get hurt and went up to tsukasa

- Hanako thought he knew everything about you
- He is your boyfriend, after all
- However, he soon realizes he doesn’t know much about you at all
- Or your past
- He can’t really speak, he doesn’t want you to know much about his past ether
- But he still wants to know more about you
- He will ask questions hoping you will open up
- He wants to know you more
- But when it doesn’t work he will start being more blunt about it
- Saying he wants to know about your life
- If you say no, he won’t press
- But he might be a bit more stubborn to tell you about his past if you wont tell him about yours
You screamed as you fell outside of Hanako’s stall. You have had a crazy day. You were kidnapped by who you learned was Hanako’s younger twin brother and then you were forced into a random door boundary. You had to escape a bunch of doors that lead to different places at different times. Then you remember him. Hanako but when he was… alive. You saw him through one I of the doors. He was crying and has bruises all over his arms. It hurt you to see your boyfriend this way. Then his wisp found you before you could even talk to him.
“Got you!” Hanako quickly caught you, holding your shaken body in his arms. “Did you have a nice trip~”
“Hanako…” You sat up, looking at him. His eyes trailed down to your clothes as he frowned. His wisps circled you, putting you back in your normal school uniform.
“Sorry! I just prefer you in your normal clothes!” He held your hands in his. You felt your heart sink inside your chest. You couldn’t help but see that crying boy when you looked at him. He was so hurt. Does he still have those injuries on his arms…?
“Hanako… can I ask you a question?” You held his hand tightly.
“Anything”
“When I was looking through the doors, I saw… you” His smile dropped when he heard you say that. “And you were hurt.. and crying. And i just want to know what happened? You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to but I want to be there for you”
“I don’t want to talk about my past.” He said boldly which caught you off guard. His past was a very sensitive topic for it. It also slightly irritated him to think you would question his part if you refused to tell him yours.
“I just want to help, Hanako-“
“You won’t even tell me about your past, why should I tell you about mine?” He bit his bottom lip, regretting his words. He just hated the thought of you asking him to reveal his hard past if you got mad at him for not wanting to reveal yours. He was afraid of what would happen if he told you what he did. If you couldn’t trust him, how could he trust you?
“Hanako, I…” Your eyes were wide as gripped your sleeves. He was right. You wouldn’t even let him know who you truly were, what right did you have to ask him the question you hated. “I’m sorry…”
Hanako now felt like the guilty one. He shouldn’t have brought up what was burdening you and he never would have. He knows better. He just doesn’t like you bringing up such a sensitive subject for him. He has trust issues too.
“No, I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have brought up something so sensitive for you too… I just thought it was unfair for you to ask me that..” He looked down.
“It’s okay… I also shouldn’t have asked something to personal if I didn’t wish to open up myself”
“Maybe… we can both work on opening up to each other” he took your hands in his and pulled you close to him, a small smile on his face.
“Work on opening up to each other? You think it will work…?” You asked
“It might… shall we give it a try?”
- He didn’t know anything about the real you?
- What does that mean?
- Do you not open up to him…?
- At first he wouldn’t care
- If you don’t want to tell him, why should he force you! (He is really chatty about his life when he was alive)
- But then he started to have questions about what your life was like before you met him
- He would ask Mitsuba to make the mirrors show him you in the past
- But you didn’t go here
- He is completely in the dark
- He will be subtle, not wanting you to close up
- He will constantly ask you, wanting to know
- The moment the conversation switches to something personal, he will ask
- Oh boy will he ask
- He wants to know more about his lover
Tsukasa’s cheeks puffed. For the past half hour, he’s been asking you about different things you liked when you were a kid but he still doesn’t know anything about your past. He has learned interesting information about things you like and dislike but he wants to know why you won’t talk to him about your past.
“I just want to know about your past…” He whined and you tensed up. What part of your past does he want to know…?
“Don’t you know enough? You asked me my favorite ice cream, if I have any pets, and other stuff like that… what do you want to know?” You chuckled a bit until he leaned in. Your face flushed as he was staring at you.
“I want to know about your life before we met.”
“My… life?” You repeated, slightly in shock. Why does he want to know about your life? Could you really trust him..?
“I don’t think you want to know about my life-“
“I do want to know what happened in your life!” He gripped your shoulder and you bit your bottom lip.
“Well I don’t want to tell you about my life!” You shouted slightly which shocked the ghost. “It’s none of your business…” you felt your eyes starting to water up. You expected him to be mad at you but he hugged you instead. You wrapped your arms around him and hugged him back.
“I want to know more about you…” Tsukasa whispered and you felt your heart tighten.
“I know… I been hurt by people I trusted before, Tsu.” Your brows furrowed as you wiped the water in your eyes away.
“But I’m not like that! I promise you I’m not…” He got sad at the thought of you not trusting him but he knew that it was the thought of trusting that scared you.
“I don’t know…” you stayed silent.
“I promise I will never hurt you! I only want whats best for you!!” He took your hands in his, giving you a sad look “I promise I won’t hurt you like others did…” You felt your heart pound inside you chest.
You loved this man.
“Thank you, Tsukasa.. maybe some day I will tell you about my past” You smiled softly as you hugged him. He hugged you back, squeezing you tightly with a grin on his face.
“Don’t worry, my love… I’ll make sure no one hurts you again~”
- Teru didn’t think that talking about your past to your lover is really that important
- He doesn’t talk about his past so he won’t force you
- However, he notices your past has a hold on you still
- While his childhood (or lack of) effects him as well, he will talk about it with you (he will talk about it like it isn’t a big deal but at least he’s talking about it-)

You had a small smile on your face as you read a book. This was a very interesting part for the two main love interests. You were very comfortable on the couch in the student council room. You often spent time in there doing work as Teru would do his. You looked up to see Teru looking at you.
“Teru? Are you okay?” You frowned.
“I have a question for you” He stood up from his desk and a walked over to you.
“What is it?” You could sense his serious tone. He wanted to talk to you about this.
“Why don’t you show me who you really are?” He asked bluntly “does it have to do with your past?”
Your eyes widened. It sometimes shocked you how blunt he could be.
“Why are you asking this..?” You leaned back into the couch.
“You aren’t yourself around me… I don’t want you to feel like you need to hold yourself back.”
It’s true. You always keep him away from your personal information. Biting your tongue so you don’t accidentally spill something from your past. You couldn’t tell if you can trust him.
You wanted to.
“You don’t tell me much about your background, you know…” Your brows furrowed. Teru opened his mouth to say something but stopped. He sat down next to you, holding your hand in his.
“Ever since I was young I was an exorcist” he paused for a moment “That’s really it. There isn’t much to say~” he gave you a smile. You couldn’t help but think that that lack of childhood might be a problem…
“But I don’t want you to feel like you need to hide from me. I love you, Y/n” He held your hand up to his lips and kissed your knuckles. You blushed softly and looked down.
“You don’t need to tell me now, but know I will never hurt you” He gave you a reassuring look. He wanted you to tell him in your own time and he was willing to wait for you.
“Thank you, Teru, I love you”

Hanako is always so cheerful and friendly, even when he is pretty open with his feeling it actually take him a while to accept them and to accept to be in a relationship with you. You being a exorsist isn't a problem for him, at first was something that startled him but you had showed him so much kindness that he grows comfortable around you
Hanako tend to do a lot of jokes about you being are exorsist, about how even when being one you end up dating a supernatural, or how he probably had defeat you by stealing your heart, and so on, but even when he makes a lot of jokes he never underestimated you, he knows what you are capable of and he respects and admire your strength
Just as he loves making jokes about you being an exorsist he LOVES bragging about your strength, he will tell everyone who is willing to heard (and those who aren't too), he is always talking about how stronge you are, about your power and the techniques you just show/teach him, about how amazing you look, he is just too excited and in love to shut up
Speaking of, even when he knows you are really stronge (probably even stronger than him) that doesn't stop him from stepping in front of you and shield you whenever you two find an agressive supernatural. He knows you are stronge but he will hate for something to happen to you, he doesn't want to lose you
Is probably that at least once you will protect him from the attack of a supernatural (or Teru another exorsist), even when he is the leader of the mysteries that doesn't mean he can't be hurt, so when you are the one protecting him he feels completely flattered, he feels small and vulnerable in the way that he feels completely safe, like he doesn't have to be the stronge and powerful honorable 7th for once
Hanako doesn't know what he loves more of you, if your strength or your kindness, your power based in the water is one of a kind, even when fighting you can be as gentle and comforting as a pleasant breeze or be powerful and destructive like a tsunami, also, just as the water, you can easily adapt to your surroundings, quickly getting used to the battlefield and fighting with elegancy. Hanako is completely mesmerize by your fighting style and doesn't lose the chance to see you fight, admiring every move you do but still on guard to step in and protect you in case things get out of hand (however he doesn't accept that out loud, never, he only says that he was sure you will do it)
As if it wasn't enough you kindness is the perfect complement, your sweet smile and gentleness while treating him always make him flustered, it took him a while to get used to be treaten with such kindness and even when he felt like he was handling it you just accept him as he is, as the supernatural, as the assassin, and you did it with a smile in your face, he doesn't feel like he deserve it but he doesn't want to lose it either
Hanako is always being playfuly and clingy towards you, always making jokes and teasing you with everything he can, both of you always have a lot of fun, but there are also moments when he just want to be with you in silent, doing nothing but basking in your presence for how comforting it is for him, for how much peace brings him, for how it calms the cruel past that hurts him but isn't ready to talk about
Rainy days remind him of you (but also make him feel a little melancholy, even if you are in the school taking classes), specially the ones where is raining just a little, when is soft and gentle, he tend to stay out let the rain fall on his phantasmagoric body, it isn't like he will get sick anyways actually this is a lie, he gets sick sometimes for doing it, but he doesn't mind at all
Nene Yashiro
Yashiro constantly has crushes on people she finds atractive, normally are crushes that doesn't last long but are stubborn, it was almost imposible for her to don't fall for your kindness and beautiful smiles however the love she felt at first started to grow stronger and more sincere, to the point where it was sure to say that she was in love
Your warm hearted personality always manage to make Yashiro flustered, whenever you are being kind towards her Yashiro quickly gets blushy and flustered, things like offering her your hand and being willing to help her always make her feel special and loved, like if it were out of a romantic novel, although even little things like smiling when you see her or asking her about her day tend to make her heart skip a beat
Even when your kindness is something that Yashiro finds completely endearing and attractive she can easily get jealous over it, she likes whenever you are being kind towards others and other appreciating your kindness too, but it doesn't take much time before she start to feel jealous over it and the more time it past the more it affects her, she could go from feeling threaten for other people to feel insecure and compare herself with others, is pretty obvious that she feels down but she doesn't want to say it directly
Yashiro doesn't pry much details about you, specially at first, is more likely she will know more and more about you as the time pass, that is why is more probably that, if you don't tell her, she will find out about you being an exorsist when you two are dating already
She could get to know that you are an exorsist for seeing you fight or someone telling her, even as an accident, but no matter how she finds out it would be incredibly surprising for her, it would even take some reasurance for her to fully accept because for your personality she never thought that you will even fight anyone
At first Yashiro though that she was the one who brought you to the mess with the supernaturals and even felt bad about it but now that she knows that you are an exorsist (and a powerful one) she feels a lot better, even she start asking your help anytime she gets into troubles or hide behind you when is scare (something that make her feel a little embarrassed)
Yashiro doesn't think much about your power but as she find out that your fighting style is based in water she grows really curious, she has an idea of how it could be but want to see it herself (not that she will put herself in danger just to be able to see it)
Yashiro knows you are powerful but actually getting to see you fight is a whole new thing for her, she can only describe seeing you fight as if you were dancing perfectly, like if it were everything around you what change to follow your lead, doing it with so much elegancy and majesty that make her heart skip a beat, and from that day she looks up at you even more and is really flustered by it
She like to brag about you (even when she got teased and end up being a flustered mess for it) because you are perfect in her eyes, you aren't just incredibly kind but also incredibly powerful, she thinks she can't have a better partner
Kou Minamoto
Getting into a relationship with Kou won't be too difficult, if you two like each other he doesn't see why not, however he is quite flustered by being in a relationship, it would take him a while and even so there will always be something new that manage to make him flustered and blushy around you
Your kindness is something that make him fall for you almost imediatly, being so warm hearted make Kou feels comfortable around you almost imediatly and it doesn't pass much time before he actively search for your company. He isn't strange to kindness but, somehow, everytime you are directly kind towards him he feels special, it makes his heart feels faster because he just feels like if you were an angel
As well, Kou never feels jealous when you are being kind towards others, he actually likes seeing you show kindness and a sweet smile to everyone else, it makes him proud of who you are, and even more because he is dating you
Kou talks about you quite a lot, he can't just stop doing it and is a little embarrassed everytime someone point it out, but more whenever someone tease him for it (his friends and even his brother). He is proud of you as the person who you are but you being an exorsist, and a powerful one, make him even more proud and even make him feel honored of being your boyfriend
Is probably that he didn't know you are an exorsist at first (is more likely Teru is the one who knows) but even in that case it won't take him long to find out since he himself is an exorsist, when he get to know he doesn't underestimated you but treat you as an equal (unless someone tells him how powerful you actually are), so the moment he actually get to know your true strength he feels flustered but a little embarrassed, but that feelings are quickly replace by the excitement (if he gets to know by seeing you fight will be even more impressive for him)
Kou will ask you a lot of things about you being an exorsist out of excitment, he is so curious about your training, how long you have being an exorsist, with how many supernaturals you had fight with and how much you know about the supernaturals. Kou even compare your strengh with Teru's strength only because he says that you two probably are as stronge as each other (he mean it as a compliment, the only time Kou compare you to someone else is to praise you)
After Kou gets used to the idea he will treat you as always and not as some kind of superior when it comes to exorcism or supernatural, and, also, Kou will ask you if you could teach him some things about your own style because he wants to grow stronger
Kou is completely surprised when he gets to know that your style is based on water but he quickly grows incredibly curious, wanting to know how it works and wanting to see you fight. Kou is satisfied if you only explain him how it works or even let him see when you train, but actually seeing you fight it completely mesmerize him, he is normally protective over you, specially when it comes to supernatural, imediatly shielding you without a doubt but seeing you carry the fight is new to him and he love it
After the first time he sees you fight he will only grow more and more mesmerize and curious about your power, asking you more and wanting to see more of it. Soon he will know why it is based in the water, whit that incredible adaptability it has, not matter how it is the battlefield, big or small, filled of things or empty, you always manage to walk as if that place were your home and fight like if you were in the perfect scenario
As well, he is amased and shocked by how you handle your power, you can express your usual kindness in soft attacks that doesn't make suffer anyone or wipe out everything like a powerful hurricane
Kou is constantly praising you and openly telling you how proud he is of you, for your kind personality and for your strength, and he will never grow tired of it
Teru Minamoto
Getting into a relationship with Teru it would take a little bit of time and effort, even when he is always kind and charming all of that is mostly a facade, both has to be close friends first and he has to be able to feel comfortable enough around you before getting into a relationship. You being an exorsist it makes things much easier since is more likely you two had work together at least once and probably know each other for a while now
Teru loves your warm hearted personality, you're always willing to help others and offer a sincere smile, he finds it cute and endearing, even a little hilarious considering that you are a powerful exorsist, he loves watching you interact with others and showing that infinite kindness
Teru can get jealous easy but he doesn't show it much, normally tries to don't do anything about it, he is your boyfriend and that helps him calm down his jealousy, however when is too much he will step in and steal your attention from the others, but it could easily go unoticed since he does it with a smile and kind words, he always find the perfect excuses
Your kindness always manage to warm Teru's heart and that lead him to be protective over you, for his duty as an exorsist he had to give up many things and mature at an early age but being in a relationship with you despite everything makes him feel really happy and he wants to protect that, he sometimes end up underestimating you and sometimes thinks that for being so kind you are also inocent
More than once Teru had step in front of you to shield you from supernatural or try to be faster on attacking in order to protect you, he just want be able to protect you (and sometimes he likes to show off a little in front of you), he normally does it out of insist (due of being the main exorsist for so long too) if you complain and ask him to let you do your work he apologize for it and tries to hold back
Teru is intriged by your fighting style, he had been raised in the Minamoto Clan, following the tradicional fighting style of the family so he had never come across a fighting style based in water and he wants to learn from you, not exactly to use it but how it works. Teru finds it incredibly interesting but what he finds more amusing is seeing you use it
He admires your adaptability and how versatile you can be while fighting, that way you two to can fight together without much troubles, even become a powerful couple, and Teru is grateful for it for different reasons, he can be sure you are safe, he can spend a lot of time together and it makes things easier for him, he doesn't have to be the only one who carries the weight of being the strongest
But as much as he love your strength it also wakes in him an wish to challenge you, and he does whenever things are more calm or he knows is something you can easily handle
As well, as much as Teru loves your kindness and warm hearted personality he feels like is a waste of time whenever you show kindness towards supernaturals, even more when you do gentle but direct attacks while fighting, in his eyes the supernatural doesn't deserve that kindness and he isn't afraid of telling you his opinion right away, however he won't stop you from doing it if you really want

Teru Minamoto x reader
I would gladly face any conseqences just to have your lips on mine a lot longer
"I would say you're that much better seeing your eyebags right now"
He pointed, ironically being the one laying in the school's infirmary
"Ugh,look at yours!"
You shoved him your pocket mirror close enough so that he can take a good look at his face, it took him a few seconds to realize what you meant
Staying up late was akin to the one and only Teru Minamoto, being a trained exorcist and all. But these past few weeks had been swarming him with task of bothersome spirits, you wondered how he hasn't collapsed yet
Well...
Until he did
You saw how he slumped while holding documents for the student council, immedietly helping him, thinking nothing of it. Though as a few exchange jokes you didn't notice how unstable the steps that he continued to take before you heard a loud thud alongside with papers and documents scattered to the floor

"You were heavy."
You rolled your eye at him. Teru know you could never be mad at him though in that moment he really can't help but look away, defeated filled with guilt
"Sorry.. i didn't mean to burden you like that" at first it would sound like an excessive apology for such a simple thing that you were clearly just joking about, but you knew what he meant as he stared intently at your eyebags that mirrors his
You layed your upper body on thighs, avoiding his gaze, perhaps a part of you was embarassed
"You've been a great help to me these past months, i shouldn't had dropped my assignment last minute to you like that" he confessed, playing with the strands of your hair.
The anxious Teru, the clingy Teru, the cold Teru, the touchy Teru. You were always surprised with every layer of personality that he shows you, a side that would made you grew jealous if he were to show to anybody else.
And to think that you once thought of him as one dimensional. Yet you can't help to miss every part of him when you are seperated
"I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you, and i'll make sure it won't happen again"
Oh he was really serious now? You couldn't help but smile, a mischevious grin laces your lips. How could you turn down such an offer?
"Really? How" he knows you're messing with him but hey, is it really a bad thing wanting to see you happy even for the sake of his inconvinience
"Yes!" He said eagerly holding your hand
"How about...." you started to think about how could you possibly use this opportunity to the fullest. "You cover me whenever i skip school this whole month? Yeah that sounds good"
The fact that you're asking the student council president for this is crazy really
"That's a bit.." he stopped, a facade of his princely attitude seems to glimmer through before he shook his head "to be honest i could probably think of a few excuses but i am not joining you anytime soon alright?" you giggled at how easily swayed his moral compass is when it comes to you
"I was just joking teru" you weren't. " but need i remind you that you did skipped class once you knoww..." you poked his cheek playfully
He was reminded to a fateful day before summer break where he gave into his impulsive thoughts and decided to follow a dumbass to their snenanigans up to the rooftop
"Hey- i thought we agreed to not bring up that ever again" he grab a hold of your wrist pulling you ever so closely, he couldn't contain his reddening cheeks as he smiled remembering that day
"The school prince skipped school because he wanted to make out with someone!?? Gahhh! Such scandal!"
News flash : It was you
"I wouldn't mind repeating if a certain gremlin didn't shut their mouth up" he said, eyeing your lips with a glare that could sent blood rushing to your face anytime of the day
Though you brushed it off, wanting to mess with him some more
"But your majesty! Our love is forbidden" you laughed again, continuing to strike dramatic poses to add to your roleplay
"You're really begging to be kissed right now"
"Your majesty, your lowly servant greatly thinks it's the other way around"
you grinned seeing how he eyed your lips with no shame whatsoever this time
"Hmm..." he seems to think for a second "maybe" you felt him inching closer, wasting no time.
All you could feel was a pair of lips on your own, a pair of rough hands cupping your face, messing with your hair. The cheep sheets of the infirmary ruffled to a mess and the smell of sanitizer became amiss as you kissed him back tasting a faint sweet vanilla on his lips
"Hm.. you used the lip balm i got for you?? How sweet" you held his cheeks with your thumb and index finger making him duck his lips slightly, eyeing the glistened on his lips that you failed to notice until it collided to yours
"Me or the lip balm?"
He chuckled, he smiled. a smile that never fails to make you grow weak in the knees as he stayed there not shying away from your touch
"Good question...maybe i need to check one more time" smooth.
You kissed him first this time, your hands dangled from his shoulder, pulling him close. You could feel how his lips curled into a smile when you did so.
During moments like this you wondered how the heartthrob of kamome gakuen that acted so heartlessly(ironically) to you when you first met came to be this way in your arms.
Moments passed as if it were mere when seconds kissing you. He was greedy. Everytime you gasped and breathed for air he wished to kiss you twice as long.
The disappointment in his eyes was evident when you finally pulled away, though he stopped as the thoughts that swirled his head from moments before seem to not linger back
"Is it really alright though...you know...the homework?" he rest his forehead on yours lazily
"Dumbass you did mine that one time too remember? I'm just repaying your kindness" you sighed
"But it's different.."

..
...
"You know you shouldn't feel this way you know? You mean a lot to me. I hope there comes a day where you can realize that you can fully rely on me without feeling guilty"

"I..."
He doesn't know how to respond to that, at least...not yet
"How about you take me on a date to make it up for me"
Hearing that he perked up, giving a gentle smile, a smile one like when you first met him. It covered a lot of secrets
They say human's greatest fear are of the unknown. This smile represent just that. The swirling feeling of uneasiness knowing he has secrets he need to hide from you. yet it continues to enchant you nonetheless
"I'll pick you up at 6"
"Sounds good to me"

-Teru does his best to keep you, his childhood friend, out of the affairs with ghosts. He isn't a big fan of your motherly side when it comes to ghosts, feeling you might sympathize with them a little too much and get yourself caught up with them.
-And that's exactly what you had gotten yourself into. Somehow you've eaten a mermaid scale and are now unable to touch water without being turned into a jellyfish! At first, you don't want Teru to know seeing as he is an exorcist.
-As it so happens, he found out quite quickly. It was a bit of a shock to him to say the least. You simply waved him off telling him that it'd be alright.
-It was a bit weird but he did tell you that he'd find a way to remove the 'terrible' curse from you. How dare an apparition take advantage of you like this? They'll surely be exorcised once he gets a hold of them.
-Poor you, trying to defend the apparition who had given it to you. Saying they had no ill intentions and had just wanted a friend! It's too bad that now you've been cursed by the mermaid scale but you swear that there were no ill intentions.
-Teru doesn't believe such a thing to be honest. He'll exorcise the spirit and find Mermaid for a way to rid you of this curse. Best case scenario, he'll be able to fix the curse and exorcise Mermaid. He'll see how it goes first but, he does have a plan.
