" It's gonna be alright, (name)- " She was kneeled beside your bleeding body in the snowy outskirts of Belobog. It had just been a short trip out and neither of you had expected to get attacked. You tried getting up as she forced you back to laying down. " Please, just lay down while we wait for the Silvermane Guards. " She had a sad look on her face as she spoke.
" I'll- " You coughed, making her flinch as she saw blood come out from your mouth. " I'll be- okay.. " Your breath was getting shallow as she helped you sit up to prevent you from choking on your own blood.
" Just rest, it'll be okay, yeah? They'll be here soon to take you to a doctor. " She assured, not wanting you to feel anxious or scared.
" You know.. " You started, looking over at her. " You really are a great girlfriend. " You gave a weak smile as you felt her squeeze your hand. She felt you go limp as she held you up, your hand no longer grabbing her own.
Tears pricked at her eyes as she stared at you, death had finally come to take you after you had bled out.
Your nose then scrunched up.
" Gross, what is that smell? " You opened your eyes, looking at Serval then back down at you. " Don't cry, I'm alive. " You smiled, her face was covered in disbelief.
" You- but you died? " She wiped a tear that was in her eye.
" Yeah but, I have two lives! Two! " You put up two fingers, much like a peace sign, and put it towards her. " I just used one so I have one more! " She sighed and hugged you tightly.
" ...Thank god. "
You found yourself being carried in the General's arms after you had been fatally wounded on a mission. You'd manage to get away even so, he feared you had little time left.
" I'm sure you will be alright, (name). " He looked down at you in his arms as he headed back towards the Luofu. " You must not worry. "
" Ah.. yeah, but it really hurts- Like really, really hurts. " You winced as you touched the wound on your abdomen.
" Refrain from touching it, I would not like for you to get an infection on top of such a fatal wound. " He had a stern yet caring look as he looked at you.
" Sorry, I just need to close my eyes for a bit.. " You felt your eyes fluttering closed as his eyes widened at you.
" (name), please try to keep your eyes open. We'll be th- " Your eyes had already closed, your body limp in his arms. Your weight now felt like dead weight as he stopped, looking down at your now lifeless form. " Ah.. " He needed to get you back as soon as he could, he shouldn't mourn you here.
You let out a sigh, your eyes opening once again.
" Sorry about that- Seems like I died though, huh? " You looked up at him. " I'm fine now, onwards! Back home! "
You heard him sigh as he started walking again. " You got me there. I truly believed you had died on me. It was not a pleasant feeling. I do have many questions for you alas, you should rest for now. "
" (name)! (name)! Don't fall asleep! " Yanqing sat beside you has you held your side. He had called for back up and a doctor but refused to leave you alone when you were like this. " You gotta stay awake, okay?! " His voice betrayed him as he talked to you, sadness was evident in it.
" Alright, alright.. I'm trying, " You let out a laugh. " I'll be fine, don't worry, okay? Just a little stab wound isn't going to get me. " You squeezed his hand gently.
" Just- stay awake! " He held your hand close to his chest as he looked at you. " You just gotta! " You gave a nod back as his eyes became glassy.
" Don't cry, Yanqing- " You coughed, going limp for a minute. Yanqings eyes started to water as he gently shook you.
" (name)?! " You let out a shaky breath a moment later, tears had started to come out of his eyes. He hugged you tightly.
" Yanqing! Not so tight! " You patted his back, signaling for him to loosen his grip.
" I'm just- just super happy you're okay! " He wiped the tears from his eyes. " Don't fall asleep again, okay? I'm going to stay right here and make sure you don't! "
" Alright, I promise.. " You smiled at the boy.

man the sui siblings r so funny to me. they are gods. they can wipe out whole armies single handedly. theyre old enough to watch civilizations rise and fall. one is a neet. ones unemployed. the token evil one is just a bunch of board game pieces rn. they all have magic powers and can create matter out of basically nothing but the eldest bros special god power is 'fast learner + martial arts'. they joined rhodes for both vacation and to stop an ancient god from rising from his grave. i love them
I love them so much too, they are so dear in my heart!!!
Sui siblings is kinda odd in the way that they are godly beings but i feel like their family dynamic is human like and more normal compared to some other families (at least from what we've seen so far with only the three sisters + one brother). They as individual are a weirdo™ but their family interactions made them seems normal kek
In regards to chongyue's god power, i think his power is related to storm (his music video kind of shows him being surrounded by lightning + the ep name is settling the storm) and he is the only one (so far) that is able to create a human body, i still don't know the significance of this but it might be important in relations to the revival of Sui

It's sooo painful that we need to wait each year for a new sibling to drop since i really want an event or spinoff of all the Sui siblings just interacting with each other, we need to witness how chaotic they are as a whole

does ex wife reader meet her child after talking with zhongli and how many children does zhongli and ex wife reader have? also did she look out for her and zhongli's child despite being absent most of the time? I originally planned them to have no biological children maybe except for xiao and ganyu (adopted children) since it would change what I have for them, but I'll consider this since I think it's also interesting if ex-wife and zhongli had children. think this as a sub AU so anyone can choose whatever they like :> (tl;dr I'm indecisive now there will be an alternative au for the children) feel free to share!!

from my previous installment I only have one child for zhongli and ex-wife, this child is somewhat hesitant to meet their mother especially after she left them to the other adepti
it might take a while but she will eventually meet her child and have a talk with them until their child warms up to her
since ex-wife have a child in this au she definitely looks out for her child yearly to track their growth and development, her chest swells with pride and a mix of pain
she regrets leaving them behind she really wanted to bring her child with her but under the contract with zhongli she must leave their child under his care and the other adepti in order to keep them safe even after the war has ended
she definitely leaves a small gift for her child too
on the other hand if morax and ex-wife would have other children I think they would have three including their first child as mentioned, I don't have any idea for the other children yet so I'll leave it to your imagination :>
If they were to have children more than 3 there's potential for angst :) (imagine the fates of the yakshas)

HIHIHII I've come back with more silly little questions (I don't even wanna imagine how PACKED your askbox is rn but ty for your service pookie, I love how the story is coming together!)
1. Are the princes and princesses allowed to have pets? If so then do they have any? How much are there and what are their names? And secondly if they aren't allowed, have they tried to keep any pets a secret from their siblings/mothers/maids and other workers?
2. Do the ROs have any embarrassing secrets/moments that they would like to keep hidden from MC forever?
3. Does the MC learn how to fight at some point (learn how to use a sword or any other weapon, or maybe learn magic?) and/or learn how to ride a horse for a little cdrama moment?
4. Are any of the princes and princesses skilled in using magic and if so or not, have they made little oopsies while using said magic?

Anyway, I love all the questions! Since there's a lot, I put them below the cut!
1. Yes! Pets are allowed in the palace. It usually depends on the current ruler, but pets are allowed! As for current pets, I don't have a full list written down, so here are ones I know off the top of my head:
Consort Re has a really old and grumpy cat. It likes to bite and scratch everyone that's not Consort Re or her children.
Lunsu has a hunting dog named Wonton. He's very spoiled and fat so... not really a hunting dog anymore!
Dapang has a horse named Midnight and a snake named named Pearl
Luexia has a big fluffy cat named Mooncake
MC has a pet. You can choose between a dog, cat, bird, or snake.
Casao has a few birds! (and a tiger at one point)
Kenlu has ants (like the bug)
The others younger than Kenlu are too young to own their "own" pets, so they share with their siblings.
Consort Xing won't let animals in her palace. So none of her children have any. Duanzu has tried to sneak several animals in, but he's always caught.
2. Probably!
3. MC kind of already knows how to fight and ride a horse. They aren't very good, but it's basic lessons all princes and princesses undergo since the Consort Wars. But there will be a CDrama moment!
4. I really want to talk about the magic system, but I'll hold off and just answer your question.
All of them can do magic. Everyone in Nian can do magic. But some people have more Magic Aptitude than others.
In the case of the Nan family, those are: Kutuo, Shuailu, Luexia, Kenlu, and, recently, Quanying.
In Nian, Magic Aptitude tests are given yearly to all children who are 5 by a specific date. The tests measures various different aspects of the a person's magic and then categorizes them. If you want to know more, just send another ask!
That said, the ones with more Magic Aptitude, are actually less likely to have a little oopsie! But all of them (besides the ones with Magic Aptitude) have done an oopsie! Some may have nearly burnt the palace down, not naming names 👁, while others are less disastrous.

When I first saw yibo’s new single poster I thought it’s similar to nian poster and same artist did the both. We turtles believe that zhan did his previous single posters right?? But a designing agency claimed to do it this time. Previous years it didn’t happen right??
I want to know your view on this. Do you think zhan really designed previous years stuff?? Why it’s different this time?? No body claimed to do previous covers??

I've got a much longer post about GG's design for DD in my drafts, but who knows when I'm ever going to get around to finishing it? 😅
My understanding is that no agency has claimed the new cover image design, what they claimed was the teaser animation that was posted online, but since I haven't been online much lately I might have missed something.
In terms of the other single covers, I believe GG did Rules of My World and Nian at the very least. In the case of Rules of My World, it has GG's mark all over it, and I think GG is the kind of guy to rifle through DD's phone for selfie outtakes to put on the cover.
In the case of Nian, again all the creative work around that release just screams 'GG designed me', both stylistically and thematically.
I'm not as sure about the new cover. It doesn't scream GG as much as the others, but it still looks like something he might have done. I'm not as convinced with this one as I am with the others.
I have said this before - while there are thousands and thousands of artists and designers who could do design work for DD, there's really only one on the planet who wouldn't jump at the chance to make their involvement well known publicly. (GG).
The fact that no one has claimed a work that was designed for DD isn't 'proof' that GG designed it, but it's definitely 👀.
However in this particular case, I really don't know. It's a bit less distinctive than the other designs, which makes it a lot harder to identify as reflecting a particular person's style. Maybe more work will emerge to make things clearer in the coming days.
So at this point I'm not sure, but one thing is certain: I'm VERY EXCITED for DD's single!
Just a reminder that this is all CPN. Ultimately we don't know who designed most of this stuff.
EDIT: The raindrop image above is not the cover, it's a teaser image. A lot of people - myself included - have been thrown off by that and confused.
Apparently the actual (as yet unreleased) cover design was not done by the studio. So we will have to wait and see if that design has any signs of being done by GG when it's released.

Shutter I finally beat h12-4 with three stars. The strategy requires me so many 6 stars including Texas alter, yato alter, chalter, and etc. The problem I had was most guides have Kal tsit and mylnar. The issue is I don't have either of the two but I was able to make it work with even though I missed timing which caused mountain to be eaten instead of lancet. I realised I was able to this with the help of my first ever e2 cuora. Cuora was able to cycle for any defender if any of them died and was tanky thanks to the defense and healing. This helped in case hoshi died.
Congratulations! You didn't need me after all (I'm assuming youre the same anon that asked for a guide)
I'm not at H12-4 yet myself, but Jesus that must be one truly desperate stage for guidemakers to bring out Mlynar AND Kal'tsit as core units lmao. Kal'tsit has always been my "I give up, I'm cheating now" pick so seeing her as a core unit in guides is scary stuff.
Also with her module upgrade and crazy base stats, it's not surprising to me to see Cuora still crop up when you need an emergency tank. Her S2 was the single highest DEF achievable before Nian's S2, and her modules stack up even more DEF so she tanks far above her weight class. She's still reliable!

The rare occasions when you could wake up beside Jing Yuan in the mornings were the mornings you always cherished the most. The feeling of safety with your arms wrapped around each other. Your noses nearly touching as you laid beside each other.
Although he had gained the title of 'The Dozing General', he was always up before you, gazing at you lovingly. Occasional kisses to your face were given, waiting for you to awaken on your own.
Slowly but surely, you stirred awake as your eyes peeked open sleepily at the man beside you. His lazy smile widened as you rubbed your eyes and yawned.
" Hmmm..? " You hummed at him. It wasn't in any specific tone or even a question, you just were a bit too asleep still to form any coherent words to say. He chuckled at your half asleep expression.
" Good morning, my love. " His voice quietly spoke as you managed to give a smile back.
" G'morning... " His hand rubbed your back slowly.
He looked outside the window before shifting in the bed to get out. " Looks like it's time for me to go, love. " He sat on the side of the bed, leaving you cuddled up in the blankets and reaching out for him. " How about a kiss before I go, hm? " He asked as you nodded quickly in return. He leaned down towards your lips and kissed you gently, letting it last for a few moments before pulling away with a fond smile. " Rest a while longer, I'm sure you will see me later in the day. " He pulled the covers over you and headed out of the room to get ready to leave.

wwwwww ♡(ӦｖӦ���｡) hello anon! It's been a while since I received asks but thank you for sending me one! I barely had any ideas for ex-wife OC anymore but I still want to try so here you go :>
let's say that after all those years she really thought she had move on at some way, of course she had lovers here and there but Morax still lingers at the back of her mind
she mostly hides whenever she catches a glimpse of zhongli and zhongli can sense someone staring at him, the moment he catches who's staring at him he can only see them dashing away which he just brushed off but after a few times it became his mission to find out who they were. he somehow felt that person hiding is familiar to him
he also noticed how the people of Liyue would mention the woman from Inazuma passing by before disappearing once zhongli nears her sight.
as zhongli becomes curious to who she is, he asks traveler to arrange a meeting with her someone because traveller had met her earlier than zhongli. luckily ex-wife agreed she finally wanted to overcome her fear of meeting him again.
so traveler arranged their meeting at wangshu inn where xiao resides at. when zhongli, traveler and paimon reached the top of wangshu inn they find xiao conversing with ex-wife.
as soon as zhongli sees her, his heart starts to beat fast than it ever was. her eyes shining with adoration towards the vigilant yaksha. at that moment he knew who she is his heart felt like it was beating out of his chest at every step, there was only one woman he loved and she's finally here again.
as she faced him, she gave him a gentle smile as if nothing ever happened between them looking at his unreadable face made her brain overflow with thoughts that slowly turned her gentle smile into a frown. he quickly erased that frown when he suddenly wrapped her arms around his figure.
everyone was surprised by zhongli's gesture but she could only sheepishly smile and embrace him back. she patted his back lightly as a sign to let her go but zhongli doesn't what to let go because what if he's just dreaming?
he let's her go and offered to converse with her. the traveler, paimon and xiao gave the two a privacy to talk. the winds could only be heard as they were enveloped with silence before she moved to pour him a tea and talk.
