Astro observations pt.7

Virgo moons are superrrr judgmental. Like can be the kind of friend that suddenly keeps their distance once you’ve made a choice/did something they didn’t like that has nothing to do with them.

Capricorn inner placements are such hard workers it’s insane. Can’t stop won’t stop. Seems like they can’t sit still. Always on the go for their job & goals.

Taurus inner placements (especially sun moon venus & mars) really do like food & shopping. They love the good life and what comes with it. Anything that gives them pleasure basically they won’t think twice. Love luxury and fashion. Probably sex too lol.

Scorpio moons seem to attract each other. They live an intense life that’s usually fast paced and are not afraid of challenges of any kind, Especially when it comes to their passions and goals. They try and not let fear drive them. Can be very jealous and possessive/obsessive though with the things/people they love and are attached to.

Said it once but I’ll say it again- cancer man go crazyyy for Aries women. They attract each other like bees to honey. It’s crazy I’ve seen it time after time. Cancers are attracted to the wildness, charismatic, extroverted, energetic and leadership qualities of Aries. These man can admire and look up to the Aries female. They can put them on a pedestal. They can be a very passionate couple but can suffer from ups and downs because they can be both quite intense. Cancers are more introverted and won’t always share what they’re feeling or what’s bothering them and might expect the partner to notice by themselves and read them. Aries on the other hand are more simple than that and show how they feel outwardly usually. so they may not always be able to read into or understand completely the cancerians and might hurt their feelings unintentionally due to their impulsiveness. This can go the other way around as well- where the female is cancer and male Aries, but I’ve seen it more when it’s reversed.

Pisces sun & rising females can look cartoonish or have a out of this world look/beauty. Very dreamy and gentle “babygirl” looking lol.

Astrology observations Part-4 🦋

🦋If you have a Cancer Sun/Cancer Moon friend, consider yourself lucky. The love of cancer is forever, don’t do them wrong. Cancer Moon has the best sense of humour. Adorable people.

🦋why do most Victoria's Secret models have so many Gemini placements in their natal chart? Both Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bundchen are Capricorn rising, with incredible bone structure and the best runaway walks.

🦋 It is always the friend with Taurus /Virgo placements giving you skin care advice and recommending products. I have seen a lot of these natives who are into Korean skincare, gua sha, and rose quartz / jade rollers. The thing about earth signs is that they love their self-care relaxing time.

🦋Lilith in 6H deals with power struggles/dynamics with co-workers. At your core, you have a hard time obeying authority.

🦋Uranus in 1H reminds me of the Beyonce song “Alien Superstar.”One of a kind, OG it girl. People with Neptune and Uranus in 1H, what is it like being copied all the time?

Marilyn Monroe has Neptune in the first house and Audrey Hepburn has Uranus in the first house. I feel both of these gorgeous women are icons in their rightful ways. Ariana Grande has both Uranus and Neptune aspects in the first house. She is heavily copied by others.

🦋I get complaints all the time about no mention of male attractiveness indicators. I mean beauty is subjective. I think Scorpio Men has it going on. Examples: Ryan Glosing, Ryan Reynolds, Leonardo DiCaprio. They have this pensive stare, the ladies love it. Although I find it a little disturbing that Leo only dates younger girls ⛳

🦋Venus in 2H is blessed by Aphrodite herself. Attractive faces. Planets in 2H affect the facial features. Examples: Brad Pitt, David Beckham, Scarlett Johnson, Zoe Kravitz.

🦋My Leo-rising friend loves experimenting with her hair with reddish tones. She is sort of a ginger at the moment. But with her features, she can pull off anything. She always gets compliments on her thick hair.

🦋Most Libras give me Elle Woods vibes. People honestly underestimate how intelligent and wise they truly are.

🦋Pisces Moon has a soulful watery gaze. hopeless romantics. My Pisces moon girls, you are too nice for your own good. Put yourself first. Don’t compromise your boundaries for any man. You are a queen.

Astrology Observations

Here are some of my observations and opinions on various placements - Part 1

🖤Taurus placements are definitely the most stubborn fixed sign of all - My mom and sister are both Taurus, my dad is a Scorpio, my brothers are both Aquarius, I'm a Leo and I'm telling you... those Taurus's are something else

🎱One thing I will say is although Taurus placements are stubborn, they can whip it up in the kitchen like nobody's business

🖤A mix of Aries and Capricorn in the chart would make the perfect police officer tbh

🎱If your Mars is transiting your 8th house, be careful around machinery; cars, knives, tools, etc because accidents tend to happen with this transit... especially if there's harsh aspects; Mars-Pluto, Mars-Uranus, Mars-Neptune, and Mars-Saturn

🖤OPINION: This isn't based on facts but I think Pisces/Neptune dominant natives can either come into this life as an old or new soul. Some of these people that I've met seem completely lost in this life; drug use, behavioral problems, homelessness, just lost - like they're living and navigating this life for the first time. Other Pisces placements I've met get their Neptunian traits to work for them instead of against them, which can make them geniuses of some sort - like they've lived this life 100 times before and have finally mastered it. Obviously this depends on aspects and I think all these natives have the ability to be smart and spiritual... I guess it's a matter of how they use their Neptunian traits.

🎱Venus in the 2nd house wants to be spoiled by their partner, it's giving sugar baby energy

🖤Moon-Asc aspects, Moon in the 1st, and Cancer rising natives wear their emotions ... like everyone knows what you're feeling babe its all over your face!

🎱Romeo definitely had his Moon and Venus in Juliet's 8th house

🖤Sun and/or Moon transiting the 12th house is asking you to rest, reflect, and recharge

🎱This is debatable but Libras are the golden retrievers of the zodiac

🖤The degree of your sun sign can indicate when your life really shifted... my sun sign is in the 9th degree and that's the age my parents split and my childhood was over :)

🎱A mix of Gemini and Pisces in a chart can indicate having a foot fetish

🖤People with their sun sign as your moon sign can indicate that you love their cooking

🎱People with their rising sign as your moon sign make really good friends because they just *get* you and your way of thinking

Having a libra rising doesn't always mean they have good relationship with people around them this people attract a lot of freinds who view them as competition or envy them anyway it's either because they effortlessly get the attention

Either leo moons have narcicistic self centered mother or they have this sister like relationship with their mother i view this people who have this pure older sister like bond with their mom, because as the sun in your moon you just have this very bright and warm but also at times can be pretty damaging relationship with ur mom.

Rising and moon opposition in chart i noticed dissapont many people by the way their first impression persona doesn't match who they are, it actually can be quite opposite

Aquarius moons are the actually more outgoing than aquarius sun, they are more approachable either, and they tend to be really good in conversations

Scorpio Stelluims sorry but yall scare the crap out of me they give me creep vibes, but they are really deep tho and they actually suprise me how intelligent they are or how they deliver themselves

Pisces venus may grew up with absent mother/father or their mother/father wasn't just there for them, this people are prone to manipulation they are top tier hopeless romantic and would love you purely of who you are but it depends on the chart ofc

Virgo moons can't shut the fuck up inside their head, they may listen to you in conversations but they would have another damn conversations in their mind like that's how obsessive they can be

Aquarius venus are damn misunderstood this are the types that would actually go for the weirdest type of people to date just to have an experience, this people are filled with curiosity on what it's like to date you, anyway they're good at convincing

Taurus suns has this air of ethereal in them, like they have this glow that seperates them from the rest

Capricorn suns are drop dead gorgeous like their beautiful as helk you can spot it from their eyes or bone structures, like they have this exotic beauty that seperates them from the rest

Sagittarius men can be such loverboy to the girl they actually love, but if hurt deep can be the shittiest from all the shittiest

Sagittarius woman are damn material girl, never met a Sagittarius woman who aren't sweet n sassy and who doesn't slay 24/7

Aries sun woman are actually a big softiee they especially have the biggest soft spot for their freinds or the one they love

Virgo moons are lowkey more controlling than virgo suns while virgo risings are more blunt about it

Mercury rising🤝 people always leaning for your opinion

Venus rising🤝 pips falling love at first sight

Pluto rising🤝 silent stalkers

Sun rising🤝 doesn't have to beg for attention

nearly all earth rising placements i’ve noticed have rbf until someone talks to them and suddenly they look more welcoming and very approachable; they have the warmest smiles imo

fire rising placements radiate this good energy its so hard to explain but thats why people are so naturally drawn to them whenever they go, you can feel their friendly and charming aura

dear sagittarius rising/sun/mars placements, do you build muscle particularly fast?

sun square moon aspects really are in constant back and forth between listening to their heart versus their mind. they may feel like their needs can’t be met at the same time, having to choose or prioritize one over another.

moon ascendant aspects not being able to hide their emotions for better or worst

natives with lots of square aspects in their natal chart tend react in a calm manner despite all the chaos, because they’re in constant conflict within themselves

gemini in the big three are always down for anything, especially when it comes to opportunity to connect with people and making memories

scorpio moons being fully aware of their intense emotions and only sharing a fraction of how they truly feel

you’ll never know what pisces sun’s/stelliums are thinking, feeling or doing until you straight up ask them or they give you a life update

saturn in the 4th house natives simply amazed and in awe of other peoples relationship dynamics with their family, with saturn in the 4th growing up may have been in a restrictive environment which could potentially lead to a not so affectionate relationship to both parents or just one. so seeing friends or acquaintances who are affectionate with their family, is just a whole other experience because the native may desire that for their own

Sagittarius Placement Observations

To all of my Sagittarius placements, ensure you have people that are open-minded and optimistic. Or else that shit is gonna bring you down and feel like shit. Be wild and free. Dream big and that will manifest.

What is covered: Mercury, Moon, Venus, Mars, & general/random observations (at the end).

Mercury

Usually have humour that people find offensive. They're also very sarcastic. Ie, The UK has humour that many find offensive and don't understand when whatever they're saying (to them) isn't meant to be taken as offensive or to heart and that is just their way of bantering/joking around. Curse like sailors when they're upset/mad about and sometimes even when it's about something that they're passionate about. As much as they love to be playful and all, they are very optimistic and open-minded which makes them great for deep conversations They love to exaggerate things and be drama queens even when things weren't deep or serious (and they know it .. usually). It sometimes like a mix of Leo and Gemini energy if you ask me. But due to this they may have a tendency of jumping into conclusions. May struggle with paying attention to detail and the nitty-gritty of things. Bold.

Moon

Usually very adventure, craving challenges and new experiences. May also be spontaneous due to this. Often they're smarter than you think they are and they tend to be sly about their intelligence. Carefree and optimistic in nature. Might've grown up with optimistic mother, hence their optimism. Ride or die type of friends. Applies for all Sag placements but I see this especially with Sag Moons.

Venus

May enjoy traveling with their partners and trying new things. Enjoys a balance of independence in their relationships. Might feel restrained to love because they have a lot of love for those that they love and may not want to seem clingy or overwhelm their partners. Tend to be go with the flow with their relationships.

Mars

If you ask me ... Sagittarius Mars are the scariest. Jupiter (Sags home) is the planet of expansion. You put that together and boom, you got a ruthless ass Mars placement.

May get annoyed with people with narrow mindsets, double standards, liars, being controlled/those who try to control others, arrogance, complaining, lack of action to things. Laughs shit off even in awkward situations. Tend to be very energetic. Playful and may act like a kid.

General

Really well educated and may have thought about getting multiple degrees, a PhD, etc. Really intuitive. Loves to travel and may/often have either been to a lot of places or plan to go to a lot of places. Also tends to travel often. Enjoys learning and trying different cultures, languages, and cusine/food. Might have deep voices. Tend to be detached and have detachment issues. Might also have a avoidant attachment style. Are able and may tend to be the ones making/willing to make the first moves. Due to your 10H Virgo, you may prioritize and care for your career and profession a lot. Often taking your time and however much is needed/necessary to prefect your craft and profession. Really wide range of music they like and listen to. Might be open to drugs or at least trying them. Usually are wild when they're younger but chill down as they grow older. Easy going and don't like to be tied down. Due to Sags 2H/3H being ruled by Saturn you may be sensitive or struggle to singing and making different sounds from your voice. Tend have deep, philopshial questions about life, universe, and even themselves. Wants to find out the truth of things. Tend to have a lot of skills and hobbies.

Astro Notes - A MEGA POST

Enjoy this multitude of Astro info. This connects to the placements of these signs, but focus on the zodiac sign itself for simplification.

Aries, Virgo, and Libra can relate to a lot of things and they know how to naturally rise up to the occasion. They are naturally in tune with initiative, authority, and capability. Capricorn, Sagittarius, and Aquarius is more of an "on steroids" version.

Sagittarius and Aquarius are so similar, no wonder why they end up close whether it be best friends, close friends, or family. Their energy and lifestyles are just too similar to NOT connect.

Cancer and Taurus can relate so much which is why they do well together on a general scale. They both are observant and hesitant. They both don't take action on things until they really have the desire to.

It's not weird that Aries and Virgo come together regarding romance. They do some things similar although still having their different ways of doing it.

Capricorn and Virgo can relate, but there are still things that they do differently. Capricorn likes to do a little more if these two were to be compared because Capricorns are embedded with heightened authority.

Virgo, Scorpio and Capricorn can relate to their capability to be charitable and service-oriented individuals. They would do well with creating a business together as they all would be equally involved + their dependability.

Gemini, Aries, and Leo can have a lot of fun together. The Leo would be the one making sure everyone is good. The Gemini will be the one having the most fun. The Aries would be the one fighting with or for their friends.

The good thing about Capricorn is that they are not combative, competitive people in general. They really just be about their productivity and success. Their actions are based on what success means to them at that time. Like, a Capricorn in high school might not be focused on too much adult stuff yet, but there is something that they would be desiring. They are powerful people on their own which is likely why people flock to them. They hold their weight naturally. Most likely they are reincarnated as the mature ones of the zodiac, but why is that? They have heavy 9 energy via Numerology. 9 is time and maturity in a numerical sense. This could be why things happen for them early.

Aries, Taurus, Cancer, and Libra can relate to not having a life that is a cakewalk. Things don't just fall in their lap, it takes time, growth and experience. These signs have a lot of learning and growing to do so it can seem like they have to do more striving which means more hurtles to jump, but their capability is endless and not to be underestimated.

Pisces and Gemini can relate a lot, actually so these two coming together makes sense when you know what to focus on. Of course Gemini would be the one of dominance which makes pisces women and gemini men the more ideal combination just based off gender roles. They do things very similar and actually compliment each other nicely. Gemini adds some extra adventure to Pisces life.

One of the most interesting things about the upcoming Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024 is that the Sun is incredibly empowered from being exalted in Aries, but a Solar Eclipse and Lunar Eclipse is debilitating to the very nature of the Luminaries. In this case, the Sun is being obscured by the Moon.

I can only think that this Solar Eclipse can symbolize a loss of great power. Very interesting in regards to the current climate.

Eclipse effects are said to last up to 6 months, if not be life-changing and historically have an infamous reputation.

You should be paying attention to the houses the Eclipses are falling in, so here's a reference:

Taurus Rising: 12th House

☁️Chiron in the 6th house in a lunar return chart indicates struggling with things such as your routine, health and/or work.

☁️Chiron transiting on your north node can indicate healing wounds and learning tough fated karmic lessons that ultimately help you grow and progress on your destined path.

☁️I’ve noticed that people who live on their Saturn line are mistaken to be a lot older than they are to the public.

☁️People who have Lilith conjunct midheaven tend to be disliked for no valid reason and get scrutinised a lot.

☁️Having 8th house placements can indicate someone who likes talking about taboo subjects.

☁️Having an 8th house stellium in your lunar return chart can indicate getting into witchcraft that month. I had this a couple months ago and started doing a lot of research on witchcraft and spells etc.

☁️Having your sun square your Jupiter can indicate having a ego that is far too big for your own good.

☁️I’ve noticed that people who have virgo mars at a virgo degree are disgustingly petty.

☁️Mars-Uranus aspects can indicate having some odd kinks.

☁️Having mars in the 7th house can mean that people see you as aggressive and strong.

☁️I’ve noticed that Venus dominants can be quite lazy.

☁️Having Moon conjunct Saturn can indicate having a mum who’s quite hard on you.

☁️Sun conjunct Saturn indicates the same thing, just with your father.

☁️Having a Libra Venus conjunct Libra Jupiter can indicate great beauty with your face and body. It can also indicate having taste for the much finer things in life.

hi guys it's jenx🤍 it's been a while since my last astro observation isn't it? i hope u guys will enjoy this small thing i put together<3 enjoy angels<3

🌷 taurus rising/ taurus in the first people need a lot of attention and validation. this is especially true if their chart has extra fixed placements. it is understandable since these people give often and it is only fair for them to expect the same energy in return. their pet peeves are ungrateful people.

🌷 Venus dominant can be classified into two categories: those who desire beauty and everything that is idealistic, and those who want sensuous pleasure. when Venus is well aspected, the native is kind, helpful, philantropic, and artistic.

🌷 mars-pluto aspects in synastry may mean the relationship may be extremely triggering to both parties. pluto is obsessive and controlling and mars is combative but argumentative. not an easy one to manage in relationships especially the square aspects.

🌷 sagittarius moon is an expansive placement. people with this placement are naturally lovable and people usually come to them for advices. however, they may keep their issues to themselves often. they're only vocal about their issues when they deem its time to. the type to be very nostalgic in private.

🌷 virgo rising individuals age like fine wine. they are THE milf placement. they have this flair of mystery and royalty to their beauty. very easy on the eyes. they're also very chatty once you get to know them, usually are very up to date on almost everything.

🌷 scorpio (pluto) in the 1st are known to be mysterious but they usually are not as private as scorpio (pluto) in the 4th or scorpio (pluto) in the 10th house. these people prioritize privacy extremely high. they would go to great distance to make sure of this.

🌷 don't try to fill ur life with people who are dominant of the element you lack. when these people leave your life you may feel extremely drained, lost and in deep denial. instead, try to balance this energy by adopting the themes of that element yourself. remember, you already have everything you seek within you.

🌷 people with moon-MC aspects have big hearts. some may dislike having to display their emotions publicly especially if they have harsh aspects as they strongly think its "unprofessional" but they deep down appreciate emotionally honest people. usually feel a burden to carry on the family legacy too.

🌷 mars-jupiter aspects in one's chart point to love for adrenaline rush. these people seek for thrills and pleasure. they can be hard workers but they know how to relax and party too! they may be into stuff like extreme sports or fast cars haha

🌷 sun square moon people can be a bit of a pessimist sometimes but they have a weirdly charming way with their sarcastic nature. very alert and aware of their public and private self, yet they dislike having to explain themselves too much.

🌷 people with the sign you have in your 8th house as their placements are the people that you might have a love hate relationship with or just naturally more intense relationship than usual. OR the sign that sits in your 8th house displays traits that can trigger you in ways you can't necessarily describe and tend to avoid admitting to.

🌷 venus trine pluto natives when younge are extremely promiscuous and can be very seductive. they enjoy intense companies and secretly love attention. but once they meet someone who is just as passionate and devoted as them deep down, they will allow themselves to finally open to falling in love.

🌷 sun conjunct venus people love having their partner's full attention. they need someone who can devote themselves to them fully and be their safe space. they also want someone who they can be proud of and have a good laugh with. they're not as nearly superficial as people paint them to be. very devoted once in love. (similar to leo venus!!)

🌷 also sun conjunct venus people will go far if they enter some sort of beauty contests (especially if they have other positive sun/venus aspects)

🌷 Saturn in the 11th house and Mars in the 11th house usually experience painful close friendships. It's almost as if their friends may hurt them even worse than their lovers at times.

🌷 pisces ascendant energy is very comforting to be around. their lives usually consist of going through a lot of hardships when young but all their prayers will be answered with time. these jupiter children have big hearts but may experience a lot of jealousy from others when young.

🌷 my kinda odd personal favourites to have in synastry are actually moon in fire houses (1st, 5th, 9th houses). this is because the house person usually believe in the planet person A LOT. and the pair gives off bestfriend for life energy because they just have this blind faith (especially 9th house) in one another's ability. arguments may often occur due to emotional misunderstanding but these people are more likely to hear each other out than most tbh. they deeply want to understand the others unconsciously.

🌷 venus in second house in synastry is just 🥹. i honestly like this placement even more than venus in 7th house synastry because 7th house can also be the house of close enemies (yup) but 2nd house is just a bundle of joy for venus to thrive in from my observation. so giving and loving vocally and they enjoy each other's comfort so much sitting in complete silence feel amazing. very lovey dovey and giving. most likely to get comfortable with one another.

🌷 cancer rising as well as leo rising people value kindness and goodness in people. they may surround themselves with different kind of people but the ones they choose to keep close are usually very good-natured, can be a little bit naive but also extremely supportive and honourable. they actually adore honest people.

(These are not in any particular order)

Pisces placements often refuse their own spiritual abilities unless they're really in tune with their chart and Soul purpose. I've noticed this so many times - these natives have the most potential for a natural connection to the divine, yet they so often dismiss it. This can be related to a variety of things, but I believe it mostly comes down to them being subconsciously scared to detach from the material plane and trust their innate wisdom (which often goes against what society has taught us). However when a native with strong Piscean energy does connect to the divine, they're unstoppable and enlightening.

Leo placements (yes I'm a big fan of these) have so much light in them. I can't stand all the "they're so egoistical" bullsht. Of course some will be, especially the unevolved ones, but let's be honest: most are scared of healed strong Leo energy because they don't get them (and our society really isn't built for someone like them living according to their highest vibrations). Leos are strong, brave, loving, joyous, and have enormous hearts. They're simply made out of pure love and I will not be arguing about this.

Natives with an abundance of Taurus placement will not ever forget how you did them wrong. It's a matter of time before their disappointment exceeds their feelings for you and they snap (and when they do it's truly awful). I know that we like to think Cancers are the most likely to hold grudges (and to an extent they are, but in a much more different way) but a fixed sign will really think about that for the rest of their lives. If they do happen to also have Cancer placements, forget ever being really forgiven (unless they're particularly conscious).

Scorpio placements are really not as vengeful as people believe them to be. They are ruled by Pluto - what they do is transform and outgrow their pain. Yes their anger is strong and all-consuming, but ultimately they're meant to let it go to be able to better themselves. And let's be honest, Scorpio placements have to go through so much. They're asked to face pain and discomfort throughout most of their lives. A conscious native will transform this into their greatest strength, they won't plan their revenge for years. They know something greater's coming.

Gemini placements are the true intellectuals of the zodiac. Wait, before you come for me (lately it seems that most only call them chatty and annoying), hear me out. I'm not saying they're smarter than anyone, but they are the most invested in learning about the world. This can take many different forms based on their unique chart, and most of the time the form it takes is chaotic. They may not follow the traditional educational path. Where Aquarius placements are invested in learning, yes, Gemini placements are also invested in applying what they've learned. They're unlikely to really dedicate their lives to one subject - but they will dedicate their life to continuously grow and stimulate their intellect. There's so much more to be said here.

Aries placements generally have a hard time accepting themselves. They carry so much enthusiasm and energy with them, more often than not they'll be deemed "too much". This can really hinder their spirit - these natives need a lot of freedom and acceptance from their early childhood to grow into their confidence and powerful drive. If they don't get it, they often tend to retreat within themselves and hold back their energy. This is the root of the stereotypical Aries anger - they've often been suppressing themselves for years.

Aquarius placements often need to give others better credit for the lessons they teach them. Giving gratitude is an important lesson they need to learn in this lifetime. Yes, gratitude. Even for their hurts. Possibly especially for their hurts. They have the ability to easily recognize patterns in human behavior, and they wouldn't be able to exercise this if they isolate. If an Aquarian numbs their emotions and doesn't realize the great (soon to be positive) impact a bad experience had for them they'll be unable to learn from it.

Virgo placements can be just as loving as the stereotypical maternally affectionate Cancerian. Their typical pickiness when it comes to choosing whether to let someone into their life or not is their way of evaluating possible hurts and protecting themselves from it. A healed Virgo native however will not be running away from someone based on the rationalization they made of the situation - a healed Virgo will have a highly developed intuition and be a channel for divine messages - they'll just know what is right for them without the need to judge the situation. And if the situation is indeed right, they'll be some of the most loving and dedicated people in your life.

The Third House

The third house is a place of action. 3 is an active number. It is often associated with activity, manifestation, connection and creativity.

When it comes to the zodiac signs, number 3 is Gemini, which can be associated with the ideas of connection and activity. We can learn a lot about the third house, the house of activity, from analyzing Gemini, the sign of activity.

Gemini is the immediate Air sign, and it's mutable. It operates on the immediate, flexible capacity of its logic and perception. It represents agility, calculation, imitation, and adaptation. This gives the third house its rulership over the mind, memory, and expression.

Ultimately, Gemini is an Air sign that wants to externalize its overthinking to be at ease with itself and with around it. The third house is how we seek ease. It operates on externalizing responses and connections. As such, it represents trains of thought, words, reading, talking, gossip, conversation.

Gemini also famously represents twins or fraternity. This symbolism illuminates the third house's connection to siblings, cousins, next-door neighbors, best friends or childhood friends, lovers, community members and comrades. These are people with whom we can find ease and escape our insecurities.

Finally, Gemini loves information. Smart, sharp, and cynical, this Mercury-ruled sign associates the third house with learning. The third house represents receiving an elementary education. All early or foundational learning experiences are here: K-12 education, training workshops, summer classes, living-learning communities and lower-division education.

Beyond the associations of Gemini, we can understand the third house by taking a look at the ancient scheme of houses.

In the ancient scheme, we are born under the earth. The fourth house represents birth or conception, home, parents, and family. It represents the comfortable, protected world of our most trusted family. Since this scheme is analyzed clockwise, the next house after the fourth house is the third house, which is quite interestingly named Goddess.

We have already discussed the third house's connections to communication, expression, intellect, and learning. The ancient scheme introduces a sense of local community. The child is born inside the safe and comfortable fourth house; her parents send her outside to play in the local community---school, friends, neighborhood. In the community, she makes friends, interacts with neighbors, and embarks and learns about the world and finds her core memories. The third house represents a child's learning about the world. Walking, eating, breathing---life's simple things. Simple activities, along with exploring the community, can make up our entire world during childhood.

But community exploration can be an adult thing too. Let's focus on the name of the third house---Goddess. Why would the Goddess (the Moon) choose this house as her temple? Well, there is naturally a divine magic to learning and information, and to the childlike experience of the world, but beyond that, there is a sense of comfort in the community which I feel appeals to the Goddess.

In the third house, there is a sense of ritual. A bus route you take every Tuesday. Walking by that bench and crossing this street to get to the bookstore. Commute and transportation on schedule. A daily scone that you grab on the way to work. Ritual in this sense, and perhaps in general, is comforting. At the weekly farmers market, people mingle at ease with the same friends and neighbors from the locality. Local vendors go about their small businesses mindlessly. People run their errands, children doodle in the grass and fly kites, queers flirt and frolic, friends grab a bite, elders walk, teens gossip. There's something really nostalgic about it all.

This idea of memory and comfort and familiarity in the community feels almost Cancerian. This is why the Moon rejoices in the third house, in the traditional scheme of planetary joys (see the diagram above). This is part of why the third house is so important. A lot of comfort can be found in a healthy locality. Recent feminist scholars in the field of urban studies have advocated for the replacement of our patriarchal view of the city with a matriarchal view. Today's cities are not loving or nurturing, they place cold, alienating, isolating, exploitative and White cis-heteropatriarchal expectations on people, upholding the system of industrial global neoliberalism. Cities need to be more localized, affordable, inclusive and comfortable for the unhoused, for the working class, and for women, queer people and racial minorities. The Moon rejoices in the local, inclusive, comforting space envisioned by the third house. Urban planners should take inspiration from that. Providing protective comfort and care along with a healthy democracy for natives, immigrants and marginalized groups (and for the environment) should be the central purpose of a city, not profit. Sorry I'm an urban planning major and I'm super passionate about this.

• Just as you might be attracted to people who have your Jupiter placement in their big 3/6 you might also just naturally attract them! E.g. My Jupiter is in Libra in the 5H at 17 degree and I tend to attract Leo moons like crazy.😭

• Mercuries at 5/17/29 degree probably don’t like to admit when they’re wrong and can be loud & hilarious people.
