Maybe this is a controversial take (it shouldn’t be, its in the text) but.

People really need to come to terms with the fact that Edward ‘loves a good maim‘, ‘made some poor bloke eat his own toes for a laugh’, ‘thoroughly enjoyed whippies/yardies/turtle vs crab/Calico Jack’s Whole Deal’, ‘Blackbeard always wins and I don’t even have to try and I’m bored of that’, ‘first instinct is to go for the gun’, ‘gouged an eye out of some lad’s skull and called it an anecdote’, ‘set a ship on fire with people still inside and called it a technicality’, ‘capable of becoming the Kraken’ Teach enjoys violence. (No moral judgements here, violence is rarely taken seriously by the narrative and he’s literally a pirate)

On the flip side: Israel ‘flashy sword work without so much as scratching Stede’, ‘concerned about the loss of lives of the Queen Anne’s crew’, ‘offers a quick death for Stede to Edward’, ‘loser is banished from the ship’, ‘negotiated for only Stede to be killed despite the rest of the pirates on the ship’, ‘takes away rations instead of flogging for insubordination’, ‘wants Blackbeard because people don’t fight Blackbeard’ Hands does not, actually, enjoy violence. He puts on a lot of bluster but ultimately everything he does is meant to keep himself (and Edward) safe, which requires a reputation for violence but necessitates a lack of actual serious violence (for the sake of violence at least).

Ed likes violence because its enrichment for his perpetually under-stimulated ADHD mind, he is the tiger with the meat pumpkin. Izzy doesn’t like violence because he just wants to survive and its so much harder to do that if you’re getting in needless fights.

I don’t necessarily agree that Izzy is a cut and dry masochist, it might be the only way he knows how to connect (intricate rituals and all that) but I don’t think its something he’d go for first if he knew there were other options that were safe to want (its why he’s so perplexed by Lucius, who has the connections without the violence), but even if you do think he is: its a different kind of violence. Its not violence for the sake of violence. Its an exchange of trust. ‘I trust you to hurt me but not to harm me.’

Idk I feel like I’m always repeating myself in my meta posts lmao, but like. I can’t just not say something and let people continue to be wrong about fictional characters on the internet can I? lmfao That’d be awful.

Please may I have Fairy tail Gray x Lucy headcanons?

Lucy doesn't often say this but Gray probably has Lucy's favorite form of magic in Fairy Tail besides her own. She very much agrees with Erza's assessment of Gray's Ice Make as being a very beautiful form of magic.

Gray is pretty much what Lucy envisions when she pictures "ideal boyfriend" and it takes her an embarrassingly long time to realize it. She probably would've started dating him sooner were it not for a certain Juvia-shaped deterrent. Likewise, it's canon that Gray is attracted to Lucy.

Gray is actually very fond of Lucy's writing, and it gets him started reading more than he ever did before. He wants to be able to know what Lucy's talking about when she starts going off on some spiel about her favorite book series of the week...and it works.

Lucy's favorite genre is romance, while Gray favors murder mysteries. They meet in the middle with the noir genre, which both of them enjoy.

Gray's stripping habit has, over the course of the series, cooled down into more of a simple shirtlessness habit (probably helped by the existence of belts). Lucy is hopeful that with a little more time, they can axe it completely. She's far and away used to it by now, of course, and that's not to say she necessarily dislikes it...

We've all seen how Lucy gets when the topic of guys comes up, especially the potential of dating one--she's shy, nervous, dithering, and overthinks, but in the end she cleans up nice and puts her best effort in. What she doesn't know is that Gray kind of goes through the same thing, endlessly back-and-forth-ing about what to wear, what to say, how to behave, and worrying how he'll come off and what to do...but they meet up and their first date goes very smoothly.

It takes a long time for Gray and Lucy to actually touch each other, and I don't necessarily mean biblically. They just aren't super touchy-feely by nature and it takes a minute for them to get comfortable enough with each other that Lucy does things like hold his hand or lean against his shoulder, or that Gray gets an arm around her shoulder or waist.

It's a little bit of a surprise for both of them--Lucy barely notices Gray's shirtlessness most of the time, but when she accidentally brushes against his waist after they become an item, suddenly she's hyper-aware of his half nakedness. Likewise, Gray's eyed Lucy up before, but he's suddenly very aware of how ungentlemanly it is once he's actually dating her. They're both shy and it's cute.

Lucy has never had a boyfriend before Gray--but Gray has had exactly one (1) girlfriend before. It was Cana, and they dated for a very short time. Surprisingly, this ends up not causing the friction Lucy thought it would, and Cana ends up being a great wingman and source of info on all Gray's behaviors and likes for Lucy's benefit.

Similarly, Gray goes to Levy and Erza when he needs advice on Lucy, since they know her best. Both of them are very happy to see Lucy with someone reliable and honest like him.

Said it before, I'll say it again, these two are one of the few that would actually work as a marriage. Lucy doesn't even need to consider it for a moment when he proposes, she says yes almost before he's finished the question.

Between Gray's wizarding work and Lucy's book sales, they're able to save up enough to go on their first vacation together relatively early. Gray takes her to Bellum, the homeland of Ur and where he studied Ice Make under her after Deliora destroyed Isvan. It's a nice time for both of them.

NS/FW:

Gray really unlocks Lucy's explorative side, because wow, she's never had a guy intimately before...and there's no better person to explore with than Gray. His gentle and curious style of sex matches up well with her inexperience and shyness.

Lucy discovers a lot that she likes about Gray's body. Her favorite parts of him are, in order, his collar, his waist, his back, and his pecs. Gray's never been viewed as a sexual entity before save for Juvia, and that much always made it uncomfortable, but Gray gains a new appreciation for his body and starts to enjoy feeling attractive.

They have remarkably good luck since it was ages before either of them remembered condoms were probably a good idea. No early pregnancies.

Gray held Lucy's hand all night after their first time.

Gray's lap is always open for Lucy, usually in private but maybe sometimes in public too when they're clubbing or just feeling possessive of one another.

Lucy can and will go out wearing Gray's clothes the morning after--his jeans included. Gray encourages it, since he's fine being naked anyway, although he usually restricts himself to Lucy's house until she comes home. Usually.

OK so I'm not the first person to say this, but there is some pretty nasty racism involved in the way this fandom talks about Gideon the First, and if even I can fucking see it, as a white person who's on this site relatively intermittently, it's pretty intense.

Like, I know he repeatedly tries to murder Harrow, but like, this is the Everyone Is A Fucked Up Person book series. People are very happy to go "oh, I know Ianthe did war crimes, that's why I love her" (and believe me I'm 100% down with that), but you don't then get to turn round and point at one of the relatively few characters actually described as dark-skinned in the text and say "ew, nasty stinky bastard man, he sucks!" and make meta posts ascribing all sorts of malice to him as a character just because he occasionally ran a spear through Harrowhark Nonagesimus.

Look at the guy. He salutes Harrow with a cigarette after she tries to kill him (yes that's him, nobody notices his eyes changing like they would if it was Pyrrha), he got kissed by Commander Wake at some point and apparently just fucking leaned into the fact that the enemy commander was trying to tongue him. He argues with John about what he's been told to do with Harrow and then John tells Harrow that it's all happening because G1deon has promised something to someone, somewhere and even John can't talk him around. He sits at the table with the other lyctors and when John, Mercy and Augustine start unspooling their repression all over each other over fuck knows how many bottles of wine, he shares a look of something close to solidarity with Harrow before justifiably getting upset and leaving after Augustine brings up Pyrrha. The fandom should be all over him.

And yeah, he's a mess. But that's what the lyctors are. He's a ten-thousand-year-old necrosaint who's spent most of that time either alone or with other ten-thousand-year-old necrosaints. He's gonna have a slightly skewed view of death. He's probably seen other lyctors gore each other to fuck all the time. You can't straightforwardly apply our morality to his actions any more than you can to any of the other lyctors, that's kinda the whole point of them as characters. So why have I seen several posts about how him sticking a spear in Harrow from behind is some sort of metaphor for sexual assault when there is a canonical example of fucky consent stuff in the form of Dios Apate Major to discuss if you really want to bring up that sort of stuff in your analysis?

For fuck's sake he's not even the first person in HtN to stab Harrow (that's Ianthe, in the oath scene), or to try and kill her (that's... whoever it is on the Erebos, which is definitely not ol' G1d). I appreciate this is The Big Book Of Freaky Lesbians and that a lot of the fandom isn't especially interested in the dudes, but give the man a break - I don't see people acting this way about Augustine or Magnus or Naberius.

I AM AN ABSOLUTE JUMBLED MESS, SO HAVE SOME OF MY MESSY THOUGHTS ABOUT THE CROSSOVER TODAY, IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER:

So far, we've got Tango in Gobland, Scar in Tumble Town, Pearl and Joe in Chromia, Cleo and Xisuma in Eversea, Keralis and Jevin in Sanctuary. Impulse and Grian are kind of making their own places. Did I miss anyone?

There are two kinds of emperors in this crossover: the ones who stick to the lore and claim they don't know the Hermits and the ones who drop everything and yell "MY RANCHER!".

Pix fits the second category, though a lot quieter.

Pearl fits the first, which is strange, considering her role as Literally God. At this point we really can't be sure of what exactly this means for Pearl or for Sausage. What is she?

Gem is her own category. There's something very sus going on with her.

Jimmy absolutely freaking out over seeing Tango again though-

I think at this point it's canon that either people have nametags floating above their heads or everyone is wearing an actual name tag and that's how they all know each other's names even though they never met.

Scott just got a magical flash grenade to the eye. How is this man seeing anything after the entire sky erupted in magic light-

Sausage. I'm not surprised. Not even disappointed. Xisuma most certainly is, though.

Is it a custom in Sanctuary to kiss people on the cheeks or is Sausage like... actively making out with newcomers? I know this is a very weird question, but it's Sausage we're talking about.

Why does only Pearl get an outfit change? I mean, I know why, but like, canonically speaking, why did it happen?

Still, I felt a bit teary-eyed upon seeing the Arena Duo together again, the Gilded Helianthia dress only made it better. I missed these guys interacting so much, and I don't know if I'm in denial like Sausage or if I'm just about to open a Word document to write an entire one shot about it-

Oh god, now we have both Joel and Scar yelling LORE in the same place, save us-

So convenient that E!False decided to travel far away right when HC!False shows up. Smart decision, yes, but at the same time, the fanfic writers must now assemble to make the two of them meet.

Ok, so apparently some people remember the Life series and some people don't. I guess that means that some of the characters, such as Jimmy, Joel and Scar, are the same characters from the Life series after they lost their third life. Other characters, such as Scott and Pearl, are not. But what does this mean?

Fwhip sounded so hurt for a moment when he thought Jimmy made Scar his new deputy. This man is not ok.

Seeing the empires from the Hermits' perspectives is crazy, I hadn't realised just how massive these empires got.

The Hermits are staying for a while. I'm so happy this isn't going to be a one-episode thing, I'm dying to see where this goes!

(I'm trying to watch as many perspectives as I can. Some of them haven't come out yet, and I don't feel like watching Keralis' hour long episode. Can someone tell me what happens there?)

Here's my annual ask to see how the Actual Consequences Universe is chugging along. At this point Renee and Phil know, Bella's back in contact with everyone, the Volturi are becoming aware of the situation (IIRC). What goes down this holiday season? Does Bella have to explain herself Aro? Do any of Jake's kids phase? Does Leah ever reconcile with everyone?

So in 2022, Renee and Phil met the Denali coven, and Eleazar realized Renee's latent talent and how potent it is, and that if she became a vampire and could wield it intentionally, it would border on mind control (since MS retconned Renee to have this sort of mental beacon that compels people to help her). Cullens are worried that the Volturi may find out, and lo who calls during Christmas but Aro, but he's calling about something else: they have Joham and at least a few of his children in Volterra, and requires the services of the world's only practicing vampire doctor.

By 2023, Carlisle knows all about hybrids. He's been to Volterra and done physical exams, written up some papers, did whatever imagining and testing that hybrid physiology will allow.

But Carlisle spending any time in Volterra also means that Aro pretty much HAS to know about Charlie, Renee, Phil, etc.

But Carlisle is a favorite of Aro's, and for the moment he is useful to him as a vampire doctor, so Aro just sort of laughs it all off. Caius of course wants to murder them all for breaking the law but but Aro points out that the Cullens technically didn't tell anyone. Billy told Charlie, and Charlie told Renee and Phil. So they get a reprieve, at least for this year.

Christmas is the first time the family has been together in ages; they all agreed that Bella and Alice shouldn't be anywhere near Volterra or Aro might be too tempted by the powers and try to keep them somehow, but Carlisle has spent a lot of time there over the past year, along with Esme, Rosalie and Emmett. Rosalie because she's also had medical training. Esme, meanwhile, has made it personal mission to befriend and cheer up Marcus. It's only sort of working.

It's just the Cullens in person this year, in Europe (but not Italy) while they check in with Renee and Charlie over zoom. They're happy to be together but everyone's lowkey exhausted. Carlisle and Rosalie from their studies of hybrids; Alice from watching out for the family as well as Renee, as she's definitely on Aro's radar now; and everyone from the way knowing hybrids are possible has just shaken up their mental health. Rosalie and Esme are especially haunted by this. THEY can't have children, but their husbands theoretically could. And the children would be half-vampire, so it would be safe to keep them and raise them, whereas adopting a human child would always come with risks. Edward is flailing between "omg I could have impregnated Bella with one of those creatures and killed her!" and "Bella and I could have had a CHILD!" Rosalie and Emmett talked about surrogacy but the conversation ended up in a fight they are still working through. Esme is pretending everything is fine and she isn't constantly daydreaming about raising a child with blond hair and blue eyes, but Edward knows.

The Cullens have not been in the Forks area for the last year, so Jake's really shocked when his teenage son phases. Quil is still phasing because of how young Claire was when he imprinted (sidenote: still hate this part of canon, but), so he asks Quil to look after Willy and try to figure out why the transformation was triggered. They can SENSE a vampire, smell him, but they can't SEE him. It's very strange. Jacob, VERY RELUCTANTLY calls the Cullens. "Can your psychic leech tells us if she sees anything? Is this something to be worried about?" Leah and Seth are with him for Christmas and she rolls her eyes to high heaven about this. She's glad the Cullens are in one of their castles in Europe or whatever this year, but--and she'd never admit this in a million years--she sort of misses Emmett and Rosalie. Doesn't miss her step-sister Bella at all, though.

Jacob's call is a welcome distraction from the hybrid and Volturi drama, so Alice spends Christmas afternoon scanning possible futures. She can't see the wolves, of course, so it's tricky, but eventually she has a vision of Edward and herself going back to Forks and Edward reading the mind of a vampire they can't see. Or, really, can't look at. Edward promises the vampire they won't hurt him, that they just want to help, and Alice opens her eyes in the present and says, "He's a survivor of Victoria's newborn army. His name is Fred."

Oh okay, the coolest part of this idea to me is that it nearly happened in canon. Blitz fully offered him a job and that only fell through because of Striker being contracted to Stella and trying to fulfill that, so let's get rid of that pesky hen's involvement and explore a little on what I feel could happen with this AU

Striker joining I.M.P as a good guy AU

Now let me get one thing clear off the bat, Striker is still kind of an ass, He and Moxxie still get off poorly, he's still very boastful and cocky. The only difference is he was never contracted, so no actual murder attempts this time, he accepts the job and everything is hunky dory.

Also I'm conflicted on if Blitz would want him to join in on the company car pool to work, and all the scenarions that could work with, or have Striker ride Bombproof there everyday so there's a horse around. Choose which you like.

I have a feeling if he kept bullying Moxxie, Millie would eventually come to his defense, no parents around to scold her this time. So he learns to back off and be nicer to his co workers, no reason to make people who have your back in tough situation mad at you after all.

He and Blitz get along the best, after all he's the guy he really synergized with during the festival, becoming a bit of a common duo on missions. Also he has a horse which we know makes Blitz like anyone a bit more.

Not sure how his and Loona's relationship would be, she seemed cool with him so maybe she's less standoffish to him, maybe calling him over to show him something funny on her phone, idk seems like it'd be a cute little friendship.

Now if he apoligized to Moxxie, and chilled out with the teasing, I think they could be decent friends, talking bout gun stuff and music, since they both seem to like those things, Maybe something more if you want a Strixxie situation that's pretty wholesome, either way I think they'd grow to like eachother.

With Millie her only problem with him here is him antagonizing Moxxie so if he settles that she's okay with him, I can imagine they sometimes talk about her family, mainly venting since they both knew them, and while Striker seemed cool with them, I feel he'd still get her frustrations a little, plus there both Wrath grown Imps it seems so theres also something shared to talk about.

Now with Stolas... Well I feel good or not Striker wouldn't be the biggest fan of royals, as it seems to be big part of his character so he sees Stolas as a necessary thing for the book, and prefers him not to be around. He's standoffish if they interact and Stolas hasn't a clue why, and just awkwardly walks off, though eventually I think he'd see Stolas is just as much a victim of the system as he is, and he chills out, after all I also feel for the sake of another thing I feel happening here they probably should.

Speaking of that, One thing I feel very strongly about in this AU is I think Blitz is going to ask Striker out eventually, since he clearly liked him and was attracted to him, and without the falling out I feel he'd ask him out. Cause if theres any kind of universe Stritz would work healthily, it's this one.

Now interpret how this goes anyway you want, Striker could just politely decline and they remain friends, they try it out but find they don't work, or they get together long term, I feel any could work here. This doesn't disqualify any other ships tho so have a big happy polycule with the cowboy involved someway. XP

Now I could go into how Striker would work in the other episodes he just wasn't in, in canon, but this post is long enough so I might make a part 2 for that if you want it, in the mean time let me list off some random scenarios I thought up.

Striker misplacing his hat and getting the whole team to help him look, Moxxie tries to give him one of his in the meantime but it just isn't the same to him so he's still grumpy untill they find his actual one.

Whatever situation he had to house Bombproof falls through so they try to find another way, and get into shenanigans along the way.

The whole company get's treated to a fancy dinner (Probably by Stolas) And Blitz insists they go as a team bonding thing, but it has a strict dress code and Striker refuses to wear anything fancy and without his ragged hat (Blitz and Millie end up having to wrangle him into a suit)

Also in general he's just a grump when they get him to try new clothes XP

Striker discovering Blitz in his apartment constantly, and dealing with the same stuff M&M do. To the point he puts rope traps around, and it blossoms into a full goofy war between him and Blitz on who can outsmart the other. Ending with both tangled up in the traps, and they have to call M&M for help

I hope this was a good list of ideas for this kind of AU. Personally I really like the idea of a Good/Redeemed Striker, as I like him a good bit, so this was fun, also even if I don't personally ship them, the ships with Striker with one or some of the I.M.P members I've seen some cute stuff in passing, and this AU seems perfect for those.

Okay but what if the killers and victims swapped..... how would the story play out then in either of them...... (e.g. krabs kills mario or walter kills hiroshi instead)

This is a pretty interesting but big ask so I might as well just summarise each scenario.

DR69

Mr. Krabs -> Mario: Luigi would become devastated that someone he thought was doing good by creating a crew of people would go and kill his brother in an act of total greed. I don't think he'd find it in him to forgive Mr. Krabs, but eventually becomes numb to what happened as the killing game goes along.

Dedede -> Ashley: I would imagine The Conductor rips into Dedede for killing a young girl, even if it was in an act of self-defense (or not). Some of the girls are upset at seeing Ashley's body (like Fluttershy and Miku). Parappa further internalises his fear that he'll be targeted next from their similar small size.

2D -> ???: This is a bit confusing. Technically, Miku was the one to kill 2D. But, if 2D ended up killing her somehow, the killing game would be... over. Unless, Teto takes over the supervision of the game proceeding her death. Or, Miku actually fakes this route as well, framing 2D as the killer and executing him (jesus christ this man cannot catch a break).

Peter -> Sans: This is genuinely the worst ending possible (/hj). Brian gets pissed off Peter went and killed someone because a crime like his would be caught in under 12 seconds in the trial. Nagito feels empty, confused how such a thing could have happened, and blames his luck for it all.

Fluttershy -> Brian: I cannot see this as a malice-fueled kill (unless Fluttershy went coo-coo) so this would either be an accidental kill, a murder in self-defense, or a mercy kill par Brian's request. It's really hard for everyone to suspect the Ultimate Kindness of murder during the trial, and things are just as depressing as canon.

Walter -> Hiroshi: I actually talked about this scenario in this ask here! (The part about Walter killing Hiroshi is in the 3rd paragraph specifically). Jesse is hard pressed to be trusted for a while proceeding the trial.

Retsuko -> Kaidou: To be honest, Retsuko was already at a disadvantage as a potential killer considering her options for victims were heavily limited. However, if she managed to kill Kaidou, oh, Saiki would not be happy. Before Bojack can go on a monologue about how much he did not expect Retsuko to be the killer, Saiki is just. Well. Do you even want to know? Everyone tries to forget that trial often.

Ena -> Natsuki: I already kinda talked about this scenario in this post here too. Yuri goes beast mode and all is hell.

Yuri -> Mai: So you know when I said you don't want to know what Saiki did? Well you definitely don't wanna know what Kurumada did. Latte goes into a pure state of disbelief a student killed someone she loved dearly, and Hayasaka... I don't know if he'd be able to investigate Mai's case all that immediately.

Bojack -> ...Bojack: Guys what if Bojack Horseman killed Bojack Horseman instead? I mean, if Bojack made Bojack do all that in the canon case, then could you even imagine what Bojack could do to Bojack? I don't think Jesse would be able to handle it, yo.

I actually want to congratulate you on your work because what I don't think a lot of people in this fandom understand is that Riko is a character that is FUCKING HARD to get right. Not just to understand, but to WRITE. You can't make him too unhinged or he's just a cartoon villain and you can't make his actions too light (If you're writing within canon) or he looks like a pathetic clown instead of the actual threat he is on canon and if you aim for the middle he can end up just bland (AND I WILL SAY the greatest offenders in this are Riko haters and not his stans). And even in your most redemptionest AUs you manage to write him in a way that is consistent with the existing characterisation. I have yet to come across from a post by you that didn't make me think "yeah, if things went different, he could have turned out like this"

I feel pretty honoured I feel like I just won fandom and riko is shipped to me in the post . I would like to thank my parents for making me fucked up enough to get him.

There is few things that contribute to it all pretty much. And I will use this as excuse to talk about them all its 7 am and I slept 4 hours let's goooo

I actually see riko as very pathetic and non threat myself and I'm pretty sure Neil and most foxes do as well because even on my first reading of the books something stuck out to me pręty severly

Characters who actually killed people in those books

Andrew Aaron Renee Neil ? The foxes are pretty hands on with murder

Riko? Riki never actually got his hands dirty it does separate him already in cannon as all bark no bite whose only way to be intimidating is to use family name and people who follow him menawhile Riko himself is scary only to Kevin.

Riko's buildup in narrative as threat is very good but I really wouldn't confuse it as fear of him himself.

Riko's roast perfectly sums it up

Riko is pathetic used and delusional

I'm sorry if this is spitting onto what you said I am happy you like my things but I truly believe that riko is pathetic and I say this fully loving his character and issues his character puts light on.

He is scary only if you give him power as abuser (wchih is what this fandom does a lot in their need to have black and white villian ) but as a person he is pathetic.

But seeing riko as pathetic is seen by people as " he is poor and sad and I don't want to feel this way about him BC he is bad person "

He is not pathetic little kitty

He is pathetic eaten by anger and frustrations and unable to cry from all the pain he is in I can see how killing him could be seen as mercy actually.

Another thing I think people don't get right

Is that riko is not 100% delusional about his value

He has skills and he knows he is worth something he is fighting to have his father acknowledge it not because he does not feel worthy but because he knows he has a lot to offer and wants a chance to show it

He does not feel worthles he is just frustrated that others see him as such

Also growing pains are important thing to show

I think saddest and my favourite thing about riko is that the better person you let him be the more unhappy he will be.being good person won't erase things he did in the past and hurt he caused and the further you go the heavier it will be on his conscience and this is balance in act and I have way too many versions of the story where I let him snap

So yeah riko is pathetic clown and he is scary only when you don't understand this I'm sorry to blow his cover like that !

Maybe my reading of character is different in the end we all base things we create on things we know and while I never did such horrible things I know how it feels to grow into being a better person than I used to be and I know how it feels to still not believe you did got better even when I have friends to prove. There is a lot of comfort in seeing someone so horrible get nice things not because I did those horrible things but because I know how it feels to not deserve anything nice and hate myself enough to self sabotage.

I could go on also to talk about difference between gloryfying physical abuse in fandom and ignoring psychological abuse but maybe that's a talk for another time.

good lord there would be so many overhauls...just so incredibly many I gotta try to break it all down to smaller sections to even get. a glimpse

1) okay so as we have learned Raine was NOT, in fact, under any mind control, just pulling the biggest brained move on Snapdragon she ever did see. so raine doesn't even go missing in the first place, if anything they might halt the notes altogether but still remain in the castle just because they were under constant vigilance and meeting eda again mightve made them triply afraid of getting other people involved with their work. hunter stresses about it, as you do, but flapjack isn't freaking out cause HE'S seen raine's face, and he knows that they're fine, but he has no idea what happened, so Hunter is less concerned since Flapjack isn't. not by a lot tho.

2) so INSTEAD of Hunter booking it to Luz to plead for help on some criminals, he instead takes all of this suppressed fear and worry and stress and just kinda. balls it up. and then shoves all of it out in the open during Eclipse Lake. he goes HARD trying to get that Titan's Blood and the thing where he tried to relate to Amity over being a failure? he doubles down on that shit TREMENDOUSLY and their shared failing to live up to what other ppl wanted and pushing away their friends (granted Amity actually pushed Willow away to try and help, Hunter didn't push Raine away he just thought he did). you think his breakdown in Eclipse Lake was concerning? hes about to make it even more concerning. hes very very afraid for Bat and he would really rather they hate him than anyone found out they'd been talking to him and they got murdered, so he better try and beat the shit out of Amity! if Belos is pleased with him, maybe he'll hesitate on whatever punishment Bat might be having right now

3) Raine, bless 'em, keeps trying to help Hunter how they can, dropping these tiny hints they don't mean to drop. Hunter's part of setting up and preparing everything for the Coven Day Parade and Raine is noticeably always checking in on the Golden Guard. we know now that Hunter started showing his face more after the Palisman incident, but Raine isn't seen around often, so I imagine it's around the Coven Day Parade that they finally see what Hunter looks like--and good lord that IS a literal teenager what the hell did they DO TO HIM---alright scrap all the plans. darius, eberwolf, change of plans. everything stays the same, but we're kidnapping Hunter on the way out

4) Any Sport in a Storm is pretty much the same, Hunter is just even antsier & more desperate to get these new friends to like him bc. Bat. and also punts Darius twice as hard. Darius for his part is only marginally nicer because he knows Raine's weirdly attached to this little rat of a child--oh wait nvm he sees why now. alright valid point. Darius is a firm believer in "for the love of god just tell him you're Bat it will save everyone a lot of stress" but unfortunately Raine subscribes to "if anyone i really care about is within fifty feet of me we are All Going To Die"

5) mostly everything would stay the same in Hollow Mind, i think? Raine, Darius and Eberwolf might actually go up to the Owl House and speak when Hunter and Luz get trapped in Belos's mind since its both Raine and Darius that are stressed as fuck over the kid? in that instance then everyone teams up much quicker (and in confusion) but Hunter still books it out at fast speeds into the woods and somehow makes it to Hexside. he's a slippery little bastard, but luckily now theres a whole gang teamed together to track him down and hes found by Darius pretty quickly after the Owl House is evacuated and torn apart. however Hexside is VERYYYYY on edge over coven heads claiming to want to "help" and "have betrayed the Coven" so they're all beating Darius back like a rabid raccoon and Hunter thinks he's here to kill him. so thats fun. eventually Darius gives up, scruffs Raine, and throws them down at Hexside and demands they finally clear shit up. its a very cute scene of Raine sneaking in and slipping little notes under the door of whatever classroom Hunter's hiding for his life in, wherein he realizes Bat's come back. and Hunter's finally brave enough to yank open the door to---RAINE?????

6) more stuff that mostly stays the same. Hunter however is very stressed over Raine when they're trapped in the human realm which eventually leads to him and Luz talking a lot and him realizing "im sorry waht the fuck do you MEAN that the owl lady and raine whispers were a THING??? WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERES STILL SOMETHING THERE????" but above all i want to fuck this boy up so insanely bad and at least give him a GLIMPSE of Raine's puppet body being possessed by Belos. even if there is no interaction other than Hunter seeing them for a brief flash I know in my heart that would fuck him up so bad. he would blame himself so so much. Belos really here to kill everything he loves before he can finally be free huh

7) MOST importantly they finally get to hug when everyones reunited and hunter feels SO INCREDIBLY GUILTY when he sees all the fresh new scars Raine has courtesy of Belos. to which Raine, in peak parent fashion, just goes "nah, i dont mind 'em. now we match :]" and Hunter's just god u are missing the point so badly but i'll let it slide. how'd you know my new scars were from belos. and raine just stares like "how did i know your new scars were from WHAT????? oh im so glad i killed his ass" "YOU DID WHAT"

there's been a lot of talks about shidou's safety in regards to amane now that Purge March has dropped, I would like to give some people peace of mind about amane's threat to shidou. there have been lore drops here and there that implies he'll be fine

21/03/22 (Kazui’s First Trial)

Shidou: Mukuhara-san, you’ve not been looking great ever since you came back.

Kazui: Ahh…… yeah, I still haven’t got back to my usual self huh. Y’know, Shidou-kun…… kids can be really brutal huh. I don’t have any of my own so hadn’t realised until now.

Shidou: Haha, so they are. They won’t listen to the excuses adults make to explain themselves. ……though that’s also what makes them cute.

Kazui: Yeah… You’re really mature, Shidou-kun. By comparison, I’m really immature huh. Not growing up in any way other than my age. ……*sigh* Even I’m starting to hate that about myself.

22/06/27 (Amane’s Birthday)

Kazui: What’s up, Shidou-kun? You’re looking pretty down. I guess you must be tired, I’ve been relying on you a lot lately.

Shidou: Yeah, I just remembered…… today is Amane’s birthday. I’m just getting a bit sentimental.

Kazui: Hmm, it’s unfortunate, but at the moment we can’t worry about that. ……you understand, right? There’s something that you need to do right now. And if you tried talking to her your words definitely won’t reach her. Don’t look at me like that. We’ll just wait until the situation changes. Let’s do our best.

Shidou: Yeah. I’ll do what I can. I can’t have a child making a face like that. Even though we’re “murderers”…… we’re also the adults here.

22/10/24 (Shidou’s Birthday)

Amane: ……Kirisaki Shidou. How long do you plan on continuing this foolish behaviour?

Shidou: I wonder what you might be referring to there. I’m just doing what I need to do. If anything, I’d be happy if you would lend me a hand.

Amane: I warned you. I can no longer turn a blind eye to this wickedness taking place right in front of us. You’re bringing ruin unto yourself. Do you understand?

Shidou: No, I don’t understand. It’s my job as an adult to teach you that throwing a temper tantrum isn’t going to make everything go your way. If it’s a test of endurance you want, I’m happy to oblige, Amane.

i know prison isn't really comparable to a hospital, but shidou is a doctor. he's probably met folks who are averse towards medical treatments. we have to also remember he's canonically a father as well. the patience in this man knows no bounds! shidou is the person who knows best that children can get volatile if they go through their word and actually initiate in their tantrums.

in the second trial we've clearly seen him be more proactive and more motivated to interact and help other people in the prison. to me, these conversations shidou has had implies that he'll find a way or be able to defend himself is amane were to do something to him.

maybe let's say, i am grasping for straws here and maybe shidou is gonna be in ruins but for now i want to have faith in that guy. he's tried to be gentle and passive around amane at first from the very beginning, now he knows that type of approach doesn't work. i surely hope he's prepared and i think from these conversations, shidou himself is trying to prepare for what is about to come.

i do want to take amane seriously and respect her wishes not to downplay her as a child but im not gonna try and give her too much power, i don't think she's a Big and Major Threat we should all worry about. i know there are so many variables we have to consider in the second trial towards what to vote. regardless of what you want to vote her this trial, i think our first trial verdict has already locked her thoughts into place anyway.

22/04/19 (Futa’s Birthday)

Futa: ……! O-oh, it’s just you. It’s nothing. ……but well, on that note. Hey. Don’t you have anything happening too? Since being in here, just suddenly getting anxious. Feeling as though loads of people are all there condemning you, telling you you were wrong.

Amane: ……I’m fine. I don’t know what you’ve done or what it is you’re worried about, but I think if there’s something you believe in, you should stay true to it. It’s not something that should waver just because other people said something. I personally don’t plan on changing my own beliefs even if I’m told I’m wrong either…… ……today is your birthday, correct? I’ll pray for God to keep you under his care.

this is my first time doing a post like this so im sorry if there are any misunderstandings i have regarding these conversations. i do hope that maybe you can find some faith that shidou will turn out fine in some way. he's going to beef with a 12 year old. he should start thinking about what to do.

i think there are honestly a bunch of ways they could get/could have gotten together but i think i'm going to focus on the canon compliant ones - and i think it largely depends on roy and on when and how he stops repressing his feelings for jamie and how much angsting he does about his role as manager and the ethical implications of dating someone on the team

i'm going to put this under a cut because it's def going to get long

so sort of the most obvious/maybe healthiest one is roy does some therapy and with the help of dr. sharon realises that he deserves to be happy and that the way he's repressing his wants and needs because he's afraid of the pain that would come from not getting them met is not in fact at all healthy and directly tied to his anger issues. i think then he'd probably need a couple more sessions until he could actually recognise the affection he has for jamie as what it is, namely a big fat crush - i think the fact that he's low key miserable about not getting to do one-on-one 4 am training with jamie anymore because he's to busy as manager plays a pretty big role in that realisation, and the whole fight over keeley thing also plays into it, like he'd recognise that seeing jamie and keeley hug made him afraid that things were changing and because he's a repressed idiot he concluded it was about keeley when in truth it was about jamie - and then he'd probably need to like lie down for several weeks to recover from the shock and the horror agonize about how to handle the situation ethically for a while, call in the diamond dogs for help and make a plan with them that he then presents to rebecca. and only then would he talk to jamie about it, low key expecting jamie to laugh in his face or tell him to fuck off, and i think he'd be genuinely shocked when jamie is immediately like "yep this is happening i am now Roy Kent's boyfriend"

and that's sweet and healthy and good but it's a little too hinged for me, like as good and sweet as that is, it lacks that certain je-ne-sais-quoi that makes their relationship so fun and fascinating, which is why i prefer a bunch of other options!

one option that i see that is also canon compliant is that jamie does in fact go to see his father in rehab. it goes well for a while and then james tartt turns out to still be an abusive piece of shit because it was never the addiction that made him abusive, james tartt is just like that so he says something shitty and terrible to jamie, maybe something homophobic about colin who's post-match kiss with michael has gone viral or maybe something shitty about jamie becoming a midfielder and no longer dominating on the field. jamie stands up to his father but doesn't feel entirely good about it - he's supposed to be forgiving him, helping him become a better person, the way people have forgiven and helped jamie and what does it say about him that he can't do the same thing for his father? he spirals out about it in a way that's similar to the start of mom city, roy notices, finds out what's going on, including about ted's advice and is just Absolutely Enraged. Completely And Utterly Furious. Cannot Speak Will Commit Murder Livid. he gives jamie the best advice he can give him through the rage blinders he gets, and then he facetimes ted and almost murders him through the phone screen. and ted realises his mistake, apologizes to jamie for the advice and for just walking away after the man city richmond match in s1, and the next time ted talks to roy he makes a suggestive comment about roy's feelings vis-a-vis jamie, maybe something about how he never could've seen roy and jamie's relationship developing into that direction when he got to richmond, and waggles his eyebrows and that does not go over well with roy. not at all. but jamie's doing better and roy's absolutely delighted about it and he can't stop thinking about ted's comment and finally, considering how intensely angry and protective he was and how delighted he is to see jamie happy again, he realises it's true and probably needs to like lie down for several weeks to recover from the shock and the horror again does the same "figuring out how to make a move on jamie that's ethical enough for him to do it"-spiel as in the first option

(leslie higgins voice) another one: jamie gets hurt pretty badly towards the final minutes of a match and roy's brain just short-circuits and only barely reboots enough for him to force himself to make it through with some semblance of composure because he's the gaffer and he cannot fall apart about jamie getting carried of the pitch on a stretcher. the second the whistle blows, roy essentially barrels into the treatment room and pulls jamie into a hug that is so fucking tight that jamie has to essentially tap him on the shoulder at some point because he's about to black out from lack of oxygen. and that leads to jamie making a dumb joke about how he's not dying "jesus grandad get your crap together you're going to make the medics think you're in love with me" and roy's brain is still rebooting which means the repression mechanism hasn't fully come online yet so he can hear that sentence, put it into the context of all the other emotions he's been feeling and realise that yeah that is essentially why he is reacting the way that he is reacting and even say "what if i am" which leads to a very passionate kiss, a number of death threats if any of this gets out and some vaguely traumatized richmond team medics

i can also see roy just being absolutely fucking miserable about no longer getting to do one-on-one training with jamie because 1) he does not have the time anymore (now that he actually has to read the fucking scouting reports and all that other shit he lied about as assistant coach) and 2) it would be way more unethical and favouritism and so on than it was when he was an assistant coach. but he doesn't make the connection because why would he, he barely even likes jamie no matter what phoebe said and no matter the fact that he looks at the kunt shirt and smiles like the biggest fucking idiot until phoebe points out that he's managed to swear so much in just a week that he owes her what he usually owes her after like two months and asks whether it's because he's no longer seeing jamie every day? and roy wants to say no fuck off but because it's phoebe he can't and unfortunately that moment of hesitation he has while he tries to find a nicer way of phrasing it is enough for him to realise that yeah actually she's right and that's not normal why is that happening and it triggers a chain reaction that ends with him realising his feelings

and for the fourth canon compliant option, we have jamie getting a little too drunk at the post-match celebration because he's no longer in training so vanilla vodka here he comes and then drunkenly telling roy that actually it was a fucking dick move to invite him for a beer and to butter him up only to then bring up keeley and ask jamie to "step aside" especially considering the giant fucking torch jamie's carrying for roy and roy is like "the what" and jamie tells him again that yeah he has always had a pretty big fucking crush on roy and how did roy not notice despite the poster and him pulling roy through richmond on a leash and amsterdam? and jamie admits that yeah he did act a little like a dick about it, esp to keeley, but roy was being a much bigger dick not just to keeley but also to jamie and roy is like yeah you’re right i was a dick and i’m sorry but I did mean the proud of you stuff I said and jamie tells roy nice cool good and he'll see roy once they start 4am training again in the preseason and roy's like "wait why do you still want to train with me don't you think this is awkward as fuck" and jamie's like "nope this changes literally nothing" and then fucks off to brazil for a bit and again roy is miserable but once the preseason comes closer he gets more and more excited about the prospect of seeing jamie again and at some point he internally scolds himself for acting like a schoolgirl with a crush and that's when he realises that whoops yeah jamie is not the only one carrying a torch

but also i think there are a few moments in the show that open up fun little avenues for canon divergent royjamie, for example:

jamie does not come back into his childhood bedroom when he does in the show, keeley summarily rejects roy, roy wallows in it a little but realises it doesn't even hurt as much as he thought it would and there's even a part of him that's relieved which is weird why is he relieved and why is that relief so tied to nothing changing between him and jamie and whoops yeah there it is the realisation he has a Feeling

there's the slightly more angsty option where roy only realises he has feelings for jamie when jamie gets hurt during the match against man city (which i'm SUCH a sucker for!)

roy is in the room for the "everyone looks at jamie after beards comment about there being more people in this locker room who are gay"-moment and when jamie says i'm flattered roy feels something like excitment and maybe even hope and like why is he feeling that those feelings make no sense there unless he was interested in ja - whoops okay he is interested in jamie someone kill him now

and of course, amsterdam! i can imagine like a very deeply cute moment where after learning how to ride a bike roy just looks over at jamie and feels deeply content and comfortable and happy and realises wait that's how it felt with keeley why does it feel so similar with jamie is it because - yes it is jesus mary and fuckface joseph and then he falls of his bike and when jamie's standing over him laughing his ass off about it he just either pulls him down into a kiss or lets jamie pull him up and then uses the momentum to barrel into a hug with jamie and during that hug he pulls back a little and just gives jamie a look and jamie immediately fucking kisses roy

and then there's the option i'm playing around with in my fic, where roy and keeley break up way earlier than they do in the show, roy drunk-dials jamie on accident and then things develop from there

More very old twitter stuff that I'm just now bringing to tumblr.

Specifically, two versions of repetitive time travel I Will Probably Never Write (But There Are Snippets Included This Time!).

(Variant One)

The war has barely ended when Jin Guangshan mysteriously dies in an 'accident' with a monster.

There are plenty of witnesses, but the timing is JUST suspicious enough (right as he's making a play for Xiandu) that Jin-furen demands the bastard son deal with sussing out what happened. Recognizing what a huge responsibility has just been dumped on his friend, Lan Xichen offers to help with the investigation.

Evidence is a bitch and a half to come by, and most of it seems to make no sense at all.

Not least of all because it seems to be pointing to Nie Huaisang, of all people.

They almost dismiss the possibility entirely because while they know he can be clever, the idea that he would orchestrate something like this...?

But gradually, it becomes clear that even though they don't have enough to prove it's him, it can't be anyone else. They're trying to figure out whether they should take what they have to Nie Mingjue and hope he believes them or confront Nie Huaisang directly when they happen to come across him talking to a creature that has to be magical... mostly because it's talking back.

And what it says clarifies a great deal of things, at least for Jin Guangyao.

"Reincarnation is one thing, but humans aren't meant to live the same lifetime over and over. If you don't settle, you risk shattering yourself and ruining your chances of ever reincarnating again."

The one thing Jin Guangyao had never been able to figure out was motive. Why in the world would silly Nie Huaisang go out of his way to murder a sect leader?

But if what the creature says is true, that Nie Huaisang has been repeating the timeline... well, there's only one thing in the world that could possibly drive him to that kind of madness.

He tells Lan Xichen that they should confront Nie Huaisang first, but when they do, he only has one question to ask.

"How many times did my father order your brother's death?"

"Hm... and why should I go back? Exile is exile, is it not? And if I'm here, no one will ever have to wonder or worry about what I do again."

"That's not true, and you know it. We’ll worry whether you're safe."

"Too late for that. Far too late for that." Nie Huaisang stretched, the motion calling attention to just how thin he'd gotten in the years since Jin Guangyao had seen him last, walking silently out of the gates of the Unclean Realms.

"I'm tired of talking to you," he said as he stood up "Go home. Tell everyone you trapped me here on purpose, and they'll consider you a hero. Everyone wins."

"Except you."

The smile Nie Huaisang gave him made his heart hurt. "I've already gotten the only thing I was after. For the first time ever, my brother has finally passed thirty years old, and he will live many years more. Whether or not I would be around to see any of that was never actually important."

Without another word, he turned and began walking away, and the shifting fog that permeated the strange in-between realm they were in closed him off from sight within a few steps.

Jin Guangyao shoved himself to his feet, a sudden sense of panic flooding his chest. "Huaisang, wait! Huaisang!"

Nothing answered him but the faint sound of wind.

(Variant 2)

Jin Guangyao with a pretty decent/happy life discovering that this is actually the second (third, fourth, fifth?) version of this lifetime, with canon having been the first and Nie Huaisang having been the one who changed it to save his brother.

He becomes obsessed with the realization that Nie Huaisang could have destroyed him, and yet chose not only to spare him, but to include him on the list of improved lives.

“I still don’t understand.”

Nie Huaisang swallowed the last of his soup and cradled the little wooden bowl in his lap. "Don't understand what?"

"You could have gotten rid of me. If death was off the table, you could have just as easily injured or disgraced me to make me go away. Why didn't you?"

For a long time, there was no answer as Nie Huaisang just stared into the fire. Then he sighed and slumped against the rock behind him, tipping his head back.

"I thought about it. I'd even made plans for it," he says in a hollow voice that sends a shiver down Jin Guangyao's spine. "But the more I thought, the more I realized it wouldn't do any good. He would have just sent someone else to do it. In fact, he did just send someone else to do it the two times I managed to convince you to back off or otherwise distract you."

Jin Guangyao frowns. "Who... Xue Yang?"

Nie Huaisang gives a tired, bitter laugh. "No, no, as much as he probably would have been eager to do it, he was still considered too necessary," he says, then wipes his eyes. "Poor Yu-er. As expendable as he was to your father, figuring out how to keep him alive was almost as hard as keeping Da-ge alive."

Jin Guangyao swallows hard and decides he doesn't want to know.

"Besides... I didn't always hate you, you know. At one point I would have given you almost anything you asked of me."

'Anything except my brother,' goes unspoken, but not unheard.

And, considering Nie Huaisang had gone so far as to give him this new life, comfortable and secure and free of his father's never-ending demands, he believes it.

Especially since it has all come at such a harsh cost to Nie Huaisang himself.

He reaches out and gently takes the bowl from Nie Huaisang's hands to refill it, but sets it aside instead of immediately handing it back.

"And now? Would you still do it?" he can't help but press, curiosity eating at him.

Nie Huaisang tilts his head, expression a mix of emotions. "That implies I have anything left to give you."

"You do," Jin Guangyao says, then leans in and kisses him.

Umm so you don't have to do this but i was reading your older posts and i'm wondering if you have any other thoughts or headcanons about yandere nazuna? Please don't push yourself if you don't, thank you ><

Oh damn, yeah that definitely was a pretty long time ago. I think the yandere Nazuna headcanons in particular were some of the first ensemble stars headcanons I wrote on my blog. Reading back on it now, there´s at least one thing I wrote there that I heavily disagree with now that I´ve gotten to know him a bit better. So here are some more yandere Nazuna headcanons because I love him a lot <3

More Yandere! Nazuna headcanons

Nazuna is definitely a protective yandere through and through, which may lead to him coming off as a bit too overbearing. He really doesn´t mean to be, he just wants you to be safe and happy!

Now what does him being a protective yandere actually entail? Well, obviously Nazuna wants to know what exactly you´re doing at any point in time and what people you are hanging out with. He doesn´t do it because he doesn´t trust your or because he´s particularily jealous compared to other yanderes, he simply wants to know what goes on in your life so he can rest easy and not worry too much when you go out without him

He needs to know who you´re with so he can do a little background check to make sure they aren´t bad news! Back in his Yumenosaki days, Nazuna used to be the chairman of the broadcasting committee so he´s bound to have some experience with finding the information he´s looking for

If you ever were to complain to him about this behaviour, calling him possessive and the like, Nazuna would genuinely feel a bit bad. He doesn´t want you to feel like you have no freedom, he knows from his own experiences with Valkyrie in the past how feeling trapped and unable to do what you want can impact your psyche. He cares about you so much, he doesn´t want you to feel like that, he wants you to be happy!

I feel like control over you is something Nazuna would really struggle with. On one hand, he hates how that sounds in the first place. Please believe him, controlling you is the last thing on his mind, it´s not what this is all about! He doesn´t want you to feel trapped, he doesn´t want to repeat Shu´s mistakes and make you miserable and full of self-doubt like he was back then, he just wants to be sure that you´re safe!

Nazuna will bombard you with questions as soon as you come back to your shared apartment after a night out with friends. No doubt he´s been sitting at home anxiously the entire evening, wondering what you might be doing right about now and just being super worried. What if you were in trouble right now and he wasn´t there to help you? What if something happened to you and he could have prevented it, had he been there?

....Maybe he should follow you after all, just to make absolutely sure you´re okay? He doesn´t want to intrude on your privacy but he can´t rest easy when you aren´t with him

Maybe next time you´ll just invite him from the very start to not make a repeat of the night one your friends mistaked Nazuna for a creepy stalker that was trailing after you and you had to explain that he was actually your boyfriend. I mean to be fair, they really aren´t too far off there jnlfdfbl

All I´ve talked about for now is Nazuna worrying about something happening to you, but what if you were actually threatened while he was close to you?

Well, this is the part where I will have to disagree with the assesment I made in my original yandere Nazuna headcanon post because back then I wrote that he would never try to harm anyone, when we´ve actually seen canon Nazuna disprove that on his own

Yes, Nazuna is usually nice and on friendly terms with most of your friends and doesn´t mind it too much when you hang out with them, aside from him getting a bit pouty when he feels like you aren´t giving him enough attention

But that can all change at the drop of a hat when someone insults or threatens you in any way. It doesn´t matter if it was just a joke, a careless comment or an actual insult, Nazuna is angry. He´s really so easily riled up when it comes to you!

Nazuna will not hesitate at all to threaten someone with violence if they ever were to lay a hand on you or made you feel bad about yourself. You are the most important person in his life, he loves you to the point of obsession, and so he will protect you with all he has, no matter the situation

You´re the nicest, sweetest person he knows and as such he won´t allow any kind of injustices inflicted on you. His composure crumbles in a matter of seconds before he starts throwing harsh comments at whoever dared trying to harm you. You may want to grab onto him and hold him back because Nazuna is 100% prepared to go for their throat and straight up strangle them

Have you seen what he did to Kaoru in that one story? Yeah, when it comes to his loved ones, Nazuna has zero chill and it´s probably the most dangerous aspect of his yandere behaviour. He´s usually not that difficult to deal with but if you´re not careful, someone is going to end up in the hospital one day for speaking out against you

The only reason Nazuna doesn´t straight up kill them is because you´re standing right next to him and he doesn´t want you to see something so gruesome and terrifying. No, the mere thought that you might become scared of him if you saw him do something like that is the only reason why he lets up in the end

That being said, if he felt like you were in actual, life-threatening danger then he would not hesitate to choke the life out of them for even a second, if it would mean your survival.

You are the most wonderful person in the entire world and Nazuna has made it his mission to make sure you´re as safe and happy as can be. You´re the person he loves the most and he wants you to know that <3
