Ahh I'm so excited the black picnic top is back up on the store ❤️ And judging from the fixed size chart, the measurements seem to be a tiny bit closer to the wrap tops now? *takes notes furiously*
Hi Ash Here! Realized this never really got released anywhere but when I ask the factory to make a garment in "our" sizing this is the chart they are working from. It is based on alllll that data we got from the sizing survey.
(The factory will often disagree with me on how to do things because I'm not holding to the traditional way fashion is graded but I usually get my way in the end)
I do have a much more detailed chart with a lot more information but that is not currently relevant to the garments we are designing.

Kind of hilarious to me how poorly the title "Mob Psycho 100" localized to English-speaking areas. To someone whose first language is English, it scans as:
Mob (Yakuza, Mafia)
Psycho (violent person with "crazy" behaviors)
Thus: a particularly violent member of organized crime.
But in Japanese it scans as:
Mob (background characters in crowd scenes in manga or anime)
Psycho (short for psychic)
Thus: a psychic who looks/acts like someone you'd never pick out of a crowd scene in a comic.

I'm honestly so confused whenever someone in the reblogs of my poll says that it's skewed because it's in English and therefore directed at the English speaking world...
I can't speak Chinese or Russian, and I don't know how to reach those who do. You'll need to forward it to them manually. Plus, a poll in Chinese or Russian would've excluded those who learn English as their first foreign language in school and French, Spanish, German, or Italian as their second foreign language. Or those who learn their ancestor's native language as a first or second foreign language because it's actively revived.
Yeah, Chinese is spoken by MANY people, but almost everyone understands English at least to a degree still.
And why would you think that an English post automatically is directed at "the English speaking world"? I could've posted it in my country's sign language or our family's North Frisian dialect, THAT would've been directed at a very specific target audience, yes. But English?! That's directed at literally everyone who understands it or has a dictionary nearby.

stop using science to justify bigotry in fiction
“Elves don’t reproduce quickly enough to get this divers. Not saying they can’t have slight differences in skin color, but… EVERYONE IS CLOSELY RELATED. So you’d have to stick with one look, maybe two.“
(actual quote from some post on this hellsite)
_________________________________________________________________
First of all, there’s enough science to create whatever fiction you want - an octopus uses a biological process to edit its genes during its lifetime and we don’t understand why or how, and an octopus is, idk, at least 50% more realistic than an elf, so…. but more importantly:
In fiction, “reality” is only ever a tool used to reenforce the fantasy. Otherwise a dragon twice the size of an elephant would need a wingspan of over 700 feet and unfurling their wings would cause them to faint from low blood pressure and everything else about these kind of stories would be impossible as well.
In fantasy, you only use science to reenforce what you want to see, for example, the dragon fire can melt iron, melting point 1538 degrees celsius, therefore it can melt steel, melting point 1370c. When reality gets in the way of the fantasy you’re creating, for example in your story dragon fire melts iron but does not melt steel, you just say “oh, that’s because magic” or whatever. That’s the whole point.
So if you find yourself saying something like the imaginary elves have to all be the same color because of science, you have to ask yourself… why is your fantasy an exclusion of diverse skin colors? Because Fantasy itself has room for anything at all, elves could be green and purple and blue and glow in the dark, the whole point of a fantasy is you get to make up whatever you want, so why exactly is it sooooo important to you that there are only pale skinned elves?
