I need to start watching my mouth when i talk about the gods before one of them uses me to make a new 'legend' that'll end up in an OSP video

So is it bad that I still like Chloé in spite of Astruc's bullshit. Yeah her not redeeming stings and I agree, but I still find her funny and realize being an egotistical diva is part of her character (and let's be real, watching a near 50 year old man act like a fictional teenager pissed in his cornflakes is pretty pathetic, no matter what you think of Chloé) and Season 4 had some genuinely funny moments with her if you can look past all the BS with Zoé.

I personally think it's fine to like Chloe. I like Chloe. I don't really enjoy her character much now but I don't enjoy anyone's character now so can't really hold that against her.

I also think it doesn't matter what people tell you (yes that includes the makers of the very character), you are allowed to like whatever character you want. It's pretty awesome that you're still loving Chloe. Even after all the turmoil the show, show writers, and fandoms have put ya through you're still going on strong! Ashamed to say I've nearly given up on Chloe but she's, again, not the only character. I still love them enough to write fanfics but I am just not strong enough to watch the show much anymore. I hate Astruc's attitude towards Chloe and her fans so I can't blame ya for being ticked. He can be quite rude. Or well... he's almost always rude when it comes to Chloe, I should say. Not to mention he fails to think things through. I don't get why he refuses to forgive and forget the bully he based her off of. Like I'm totally for writers writing in a character based on someone they don't like just to kill them off later or give them a small punishment in the story that's not too important. I get that. It helps ya process and calm down and let go. But in Astruc's case it only seems to fuel his rage? The man ticks me off but I can't help but feel bad for him when it comes to things like this. Off-topic; Anyway, no, it's not bad you like Chloe. You do you. You're allowed to like whatever character you like and the characters you like should not be a reason to judge you. I like Signora from Genshin Impact a little too much and she's a horrible person. I don't think I'd have any right judging you if I wanted to anyway! I love your icon and name, btw! Nice rarepair! Feel free to drop by again and talk about Chloe! She's a fun character to explore and now that the gates are shut for her canonically we have free reign to do whatever we want! - artificer: largely wanted some sort of tabby cat pattern that follows along their ribs and spine and darkens at their extremities, like they've been singed. i think their fur is also in very bad condition and coated in a mixture of fire powder and blood. yuck! by the end of artificer's campaign (if it's the ending where they kill the king scavenger), i'd imagine they'd be even darker in colour and sporting a bunch more poorly-healed scars - spearmaster: not furry, just covered in a fine layer of.. various quills and spines and whiskers? very weaselly - hunter: pulled from the luzon bleeding-heart dove for the big patch of red fur on their chest.. i feel like it's kind of a nice nod towards how the "core" of hunter long legs is darker than the rest of it, too. otherwise they're coloured kind of like a fox, and their fur is patchy because they keep overgrooming it due to stress and the rot cysts - gourmand: their flower is from outer expanse!! they were patterned different in my first draft but i ended up redoing it to make them look more like survivor and monk (since they're from the same colony) - survivor: the scars are largely from their rough fall into outskirts and it results in some struggles with mobility.. they didn't heal particularly well. otherwise is the most standard slugcat in the whole wide world - monk: little guy. always has a karma flower with them, i think. also super standard but in a smaller way (runt of the litter?) - rivulet: kind of patterned like a river otter.. catfish whiskers as well ::] - saint: has reverse point colouration, making their extremities and snout fade to white.. i think it's a nice fit with the fact that everything is miserable and cold in their campaign, haha. the scar(?) on their chest is sort of like their physical form splitting at the seams, and the diamonds are meant to be like the paneling on echoes? - enot: The Grinner - nightcat: wanted them to feature very little hard angles or edges in contrast to enot, who i tried to make more angular.. their spines(?) also swoop under, instead of over

entertaining the idea of eeveelutions as survivors of their own type. evolving when struck by lightning or caught in a fire/explosion as a way to survive
