Lemme start withhh replying to ur last reply to my shortest ask yet. Actually at that time my exams were done—they ended Dec 16, then had our Christmas Party at 17 but anywho that's not the point here bc I was actually busy with smth else—I was legit busy cramming the additional tasks my teachers assigned. SOOO let us talk about Dusk Til Dawn—YEEEEEEE I Love It. Periodt. I just didn't like how I had to stop bc of my Cold like I had to sneeze every now and then so my reading was chop-chop aaaanddd as a self proclaimed veteran of a fanfic reader and suki fan, right off the bat of reading chap one I alr knew it was too good to be true well like, NGL U GOT ME HOOKED but then I saw that the song for the second chap was from Tears of Gold but did u change it? I think u did—right?I haven’t read chapter two YET but seeing everyone else’s reactions got me goin 🤡😅😂🥲😰🤯🙃 Seeing the Iris hate got me wheezing but dw, I can see myself joining in too

BUT OKEI U UNDERSTAND FILIPINOO?!?!? Well I did have my suspicions since u listen to Ben and Ben so, anyways nakaka-excite lang sya and to the anon who ranted in Filipino—BET AHAHAHAHAHAHA the way you just wanna pull her hair HAHAHAHA

Now when I saw the original plot line of DTD, I FINALLY UNDERSTOOD the whole reason on why Kiyoomi’s song with YN was Wildest Dreams bc They never end up together 😭😭😭😭, but they both shared something that YN could never forget and so “my last condition is” to actually atleast remember what they had even if Kiyoomi is married and happy with someone else that I for sure hate bc I was team Kiyoomi. I was alr crushed just by reading the whole plot so what more if it was written hahaha 🤡🤡🤡🤡 so now let’s just see what this new DTD holds, more heartbreak I suppose but I apparently love how it hurts like u can’t get enough of it ya’know just like Home From War 🤡🤡🤡🤡 but nonetheless I am team still Kiyoomi all ze way

I’m sorry it took so long to get the next list out, but I completely scrapped my last one because after two weeks it just wasn’t turning out the way I wanted, so thanks to @bucky-smiles I followed my heart and did what I wanted. So! Now here is a fic rec list of one of my FAVORITE tropes, SOULMATES!! :) 💓 These are pretty much all happy endings because i’ve been feeling a bit down lately, so I hope this makes you as happy as they helped me feel :) *REMINDER: I am still adding to this, so if this is here, that means the list is not done :)*

Flowers Bloom by @revengingbarnes

This one is amazing. So this one is the “flowers bloom wherever their soulmate is hurt” idea. And it’s beautiful. The readers whole left arm is covered in flowers, and she rocks it with her whole heart. She meets a quiet neighbor when she moves to Romania, and the rest is history. This is an extremely emotional, and exciting, and all around lovely story that I will love forever with my whole heart. Also check out her other story Possession

Let’s talk about CUTE!! This one is about the soulmates sharing a tattoo that represents something about them. I LOVE flower/florist related stories. Bucky is so soft in this, he buys flowers for his ma, he thinks about his soulmate constantly, he’s just the best guy ever 🥺 this story is so beautiful and it’s written so so so well, it’s literally just such a beautiful well done story that made me so happy. Such a feel good fic, also check out her other amazing story Flashbacks

Howlite and Hearts by @authoressskr

This one is so unique, and SO under appreciated in my opinion. It’s a story where people have little dragons that represent themselves, and help connect them to their soulmate. I think it’s adorable, I love the way the dragons are representative of everyone, and honestly just the story, I’ve never read a story like it, its interesting and just really well done. I think my favorite part of it is Godzilla and his relationship with both the reader and Bucky. I’ve read this one multiple times, and it’s been awesome every time!

The Sound of Music by @delicatelyherdreams

This one is adorable. So this one is about how you can hear your soulmate singing in your head. So Bucky never heard songs in his head, until after everything happened, and suddenly there was someone trying to get to know him through song! Cue Bucky being scared of having a soulmate, and trying to shut her out. But the reader is determined! This was just such a cute story, Elle does an amazing job at picking the perfect songs to represent what they want to say. Also check out her amazing Seeing Stars.

This one was an emotional rollercoaster but it still was absolutely amazing. So this one was one where soulmates share each others scars. So when the reader was born, and was covered in scars, you can understand that it was a little shocking. She thought she didn’t have one. Bucky meets the reader at her cafe, and realizes they’re soulmates. Cue a bit of angst and self doubt and being scared of things you aren’t expecting. It’s beautiful, and so lovely. Also check out her wonderful stories Lettered and Teddy bear.

Silver and Gold by @the-omni-princess

This one was so interesting, and I loved the little details. So this one is about people having the first words their soulmate says to them on their wrists, BUT! So awesome, they change colors to colors that are significant to their soulmate which is so so cool. What’s even more unique? The fact that both Steve and Bucky said the same words to the reader, so now what? Cue awesome dynamics between the team, and awesome writing. It was a really good story. The Owl and the Wolf by @waiting4inspiration

Spirit animal au! Yeeeeeees!! So this is so wonderful, I felt like squeezing everyone around me it was amazing. It was so fluffy, and shy nervous Bucky around his soulmate gives me the will to live and love for the rest of my life. The dynamic between everyone and their animals and the sass, amazing. It really is just a wonderful story and I had so much fun reading it. I might have liked the animals more than Bucky and the Reader ;)

oh man! Okay so this one is awesome, it’s technically a soulmate AU/reincarnation AUbut I don’t think it ever explicitly states it. It really is so cool and unique. The reader gets stood up on a date, and Bucky sees her through the window and is absolutely drawn to her. Cue the most amazing, ethereal experience they’ve ever had. They know each other intimately and solidly. They know each other's current lives and past lives. But they’ve just met, It’s really an immersive beautiful read, I felt like I could feel exactly what they could, it was honestly magical. And I’m sure they could say the same.

So this one is super cool, and it’s where everyone hears a key word or phrase in their head from their soulmate, something only heard in person when the moment is right. It’s an AU where the reader works in a diner and Bucky is a hero who lost his arm saving a girl from a bus. He’s shy and very quiet and such a good guy. I love how she represents Bucky in this, a modern way of showing him as a hero and working in his missing arm. The support they show each other immediately? Amazing, love it.

So this is a story of Soulmates having their names written on each others arms, and guess which arm buckys was written on? Surprise, it was the left. But my favorite part of this is how it shows a small scene of him remembering her and forcing himself to remember her during his hydra times, and i love all of the connections each character has to each other, and of course Bucky waits until he needs to be with the reader to meet her. It really is adorable.

Loooove this one! So this one is where everyone has a red string of fate – also known as a ‘soulmate string’ – wrapped around their pinkie finger that only they can see. I’ve never seen a red string of fate written the way they’ve done it here, and it’s so different and it’s a LOVELY rollercoaster of emotions. I was :( in some parts but I was:D in others and it was just so so good. And it’s a Winter Soldier story which I LOVE seeing that dynamic between that character and the reader being soulmates.

Tod and Copper by @fanfictionavalanche

This is another sort of spirit animal story where everyone is born with a spirit animal, only visible to them and their soulmate, however with a touchable body, that guides them to their soulmate and vanishes when their duty is fulfilled. This one was CUTE. And boy did I get emotional when the end came, like I got attached that hard in a small fic 🥺 it was so adorable, and anything with animals is a big YES from me, also, the reader getting into trouble immediately is a big mood. Also, fox and the hound reference? Yes :)

Trying to Transmit, Can You Hear Me? By @ironstank

This one is short but sweet. So in this soulmates have a countdown to when they meet each other. My favorite part of this is just how focused on Bucky it is. It’s like little snippets into bucky's life where he thinks he doesn’t have a soulmate. It’s sad, but not enough to make you sad? Like just small heart pangs, but then he meets her. I like the open ending. It’s just a super cute story.

Hell yeah, love this one. This one has soulmates sharing a tattoo.. My favorite part is the relationship between Bucky and Steve. I love that brotherly relationship. Steve drags Bucky to a Christmas festival to get his mind off of his soulmate, and surprise surprise who does he find?? And I LOVE the fact that Bucky is paired with a Christmas living outgoing wonderful girl, it’s such a good paring. I always love Allies stories, and this is another example!

this one is painful but Beautiful! So in this one everyone has their soulmates initials on their wrist. This one starts with self sacrificing bucky denying his soulmate. He does it in order to save them from himself, what a dork. It’s so painful because you get all of these peaks into their personal feelings and just how painful it is to exist without each other and to go through that pain, it really is tragic but there’s a happy ending! It’s worth it I swear haha.

Swindled Hearts by @panicfob

oh wow okay, so this one is definitely unique. This story is beautiful, every chapter is like a snapshot of their life. They were both stubborn and strong willed and sassy, but it was such a lovely story of them slowly coming together and learning to love and live with each other. Such domestic cuteness and fluuuuuuuff!! I really love how realistic it was, it didn’t jump into anything, it really just was a wonderful story, people were guarded and unwilling to love, but it prevailed in the end.

Kai tries to hold his embarassment and bashful blush while "answer-hesitating", as Adam & Mira kept getting closer to him and smirking at him as if they were friend-teasing/playing with him.

Mira: So, who's more likeable based on your point of view?

Kai: (scratches his nape) Ummm......

Adam & Mira: Well?

Kai: I-i'll say.......................

At this time, Mira & Adam squeal in excitement due to Kai being ready to answer.

Kai: (red-faced, embarrased, & curted) .............BOTH OF YOU.

Adam & Mira: (gasp in shock) WHAT?

Adam: (puppy eyes) Awwww!

Mira: (cute voice) Why both of us?

Kai: Because...*sighs in courageness*...both of you are always my best friends, ever. And both of you are so nice, trustworthy, honest, caring, even though we sometimes argue together. I just *pulls his shirt head hole* can't choose either of you.

This made Adam & Mira confused. They looked at each other in their "Pikachu meme faces", then they gasped in shock, squeal in triumph & joy, and hugged Kai so tightly. When they hugged Kai, they feel soft, comfy & smooth as they snuggle with him at the same time. Kai was so surprised that both of his friends hugged him, because of his answer.

Kai: Wha-? Wha-?

Then 4.22 seconds later, Kai smiled and blushed in a way of joy, bashful, & counter. He hugs his two friends back.

Kai: Awwww! You guys are really sweet and caring for me. I knew you two can count on me anytime!

Kai: I love both of you, Adam & Mira.

Adam & Mira: We love you, too.

After that, Mira & Adam kissed him in his cheeks that made him blush 60,337 times his blush earlier.

Kai: (super blushed) Thanks.

Then they joined back hugging together again. What I meant is, Adam & Mira are hugging Kai for the second time. And all of a sudden, someone open the bedroom door and turns out to be Vanessa. Vanessa is also joined in the sleepover with the trio. She just came back from the bathroom as for her bathroom break.

Vanessa: Hi, guys. I'm back from the bath-

Vanessa was surprised to see Adam & Mira hugging Kai, as if they were a polymarous couple. Her reaction is just in a joyful, sweet, cuteness way.

Vanessa: Awwww! You three are so cute! Can I also hug Kai.

Kai: Wait, what? Well, um-

Vanessa: *squeals in excitement commentary due to his no response* Yeeeeeee! Thanks, Kai!

At this time, Vanessa hugs Kai from the behind (not his BUTT obviously, but from the back), since Mira & Adam hugged from the front. Now, it seems that Kai is surrounded by 3 hugs. He's now blushing 4,286,301 times his blushes earlier.

Kai: Wow, you three are so sweet to me. (blushes and continues to cuddle them)

After 17 minutes of the hug, they broke it, and feel "love-dreamed"/soft.

Vanessa: Wow, that was a long hug.

Adam: I know, I feel soft.

Mira: Me too, my skin is now getting wobbly a bit. Not really wobbly, but I'm referring that I feel soft too.

Vanessa: What about you, Kai? How you feel of us hugging you for so much time.

Kai: Uhhhh...........really really really good!

Vanessa: *giggles*

Adam, Mira & Vanessa: That's our lovely Kai!

Kai: Wow, I ca-wait, do you three have a crush on me?

This made the "3" planned together to answer simultaneously.

alright imma do this one log and then im gonna finish up hw and then head to bed cause im tired as shit (i fucking fell asleep in art history like i just put my head on my shoudler for like 3 seconds and the next time i opened my eyes it was the end of class and my neck hurt) and i got class p early tmrw but like durign 3d i was able to talk to fdb (flamboyant dumb bitch) and got that was the most fun conversation i had in so damn long we were talking about games and what we play we both played the same stuff or at least stuff in the same ball park and on the games we overlapped on we did have some differences here and there but we matched opinions in terms of favorites so much like we were talking about bayonetta and how its super inaccurate that she would have died in the smash ultimate bu then also about how bayo 1 v bayo 2 was so good and like bayo 1 set the tone for eveyrthing bayonetta but the muted colors were a little much but how bayo 2 was amazing in terms of designs and execution btu they fell through oh man i could talk about it for hours legit but we talked about other games too and FuCK maN it was just so much damn fun

and then i got to talk to norway (she’s from norway but theres no way in hell im gonna drop her name) and shes super fucking cute and pretty and wowwowowoowoeie but shes also super fun to talk to and like shes majoring in interior design and like shes so unsure about things and i just told her that she has amazing craftsmanship and has a decent eye for design so she shoudlnt be too worried and that in general shes a super personable person so things will work out in the end for her and she got all happy and it was nice and then after that we were tlakign about the current project we have right now and then we got on the topic about talking abotu the differences between being in the states versus everywhere else in the world and she was asking me a bunch of questions as to why things were the way they were and like because ive traveled outside the country adn state on multiple occassions i was able to pinpoint on her questiosn a lot better and it was just so enrichign i super enjoyed the conversation a lot and then at the end i was like yeah i super enjoyed our conversation thank you for tlaking with me and she was like well yeah i had a lot of fun maybe we can talk again next class and she did that adorable laugh she always does nad asdkjhasdjkash

and then AND THEN SO NOW I GOT CHEL’S NUMEBR AND YEEEEEEEEeee but like for some reason i forgot that i did and she just sent me a text about friday and yeeeEEEE BOYYYY IM SO PUMPED MAN IM HELLA EXCITED man oh man im just YEEEEEEEEEEEeee

I’m so late in responding to this - I read it in the middle of my essay writing and had to drag myself off tumblr to get back on with it ahahBut here we are…1) My accent. I love all accents and my own is no exception. Obviously I don’t hear it in the same way other people do, but some uni people have told me I sound very very Yorkshire and YES YES I AM GLADD2) My new jaw positioning. Surgery made me vain lololol. Jk, but it has given me extra confidence. I wasn’t TOO self-conscious about it before, but the improvement has been massive and I’m now 5 months post op yeeeeeee3) My huge optimism for 2018. 2017 was such a sucky year on the whole for me but for some reason I went into 2018 really excited for the future. Despite my doubtfulness in my abilities and no idea what I’m gonna do after uni finishes in May, I’m cheery and positive. Better than feeling low about stuff so thank you brain.4) My obsessive fangirl nature. An odd choice, but it’s led me to meet some wonderful people online and also helps out irl when i’m socially awkward and someone asks me about what tv stuff I like and I’m able to talk and talk and talk. Despite the DB fandom being more or less dead (it’s not, but it’s so so so so quiet up to when I joined tumblr), I am super proud of my continuation with derrensothershoe. I mean, I mainly just reblog stuff and recently I’ve been forgetting to stock up the queue, but my heart is completely in that blog and it’s my beaut lil baby and I intend to continue screaming about Dezza for years to come.5) My drive to get myself in a better mental place??? This is hella deep but I’m proud there’s something in me that despite sometimes feeling as low as owt, pushes me to get to a better place. It was me that rang up the doctors to see someone about how i was feeling, it was me that went back to uni despite wanting to drop out, it was me that applied for counselling and attended every session, despite it being a bumpy road, and it’s me that just got confirmation that I’m getting specialist equipment and mentoring for the rest of my time at uni to hopefully ease things for me and reassure me things are okay. I’m still in this ongoing battle, but the positive part of me has fought its way to the forefront when I needed it most.Now wanting to hide over how deep this got, but it has to be public so hey ho. I love how chill and fun it started and then y’all were chucked in at the deep end.Thank you for the ask, Rachel and soz I took forever to actually answer it.
