Octavia and Verosika did NOTHING wrong. Octavia has the right to not like her dad who ignored and neglected her in order for his one-sided affair. Verosika has the right to hate Blitzo (to quote my queen Veroska) maxed out her credit card on shitty horse riding lessons and left her to pay for the hotel. Octavia got called a COCK BLOCKING SLUT by one of the CREATORS OF HELLUVA BOSS! And Verosika constantly gets called a bitch, slut, or whore. I love Octavia and Verosika, they have done no wrong and I am taking them from Vivziepop.

Also Verosika looks so good in the outfits the Helluva Boss team puts her in and I’m supposed to hate her? No fuck that I love her so much and she has probably one of the best or the best design out of all the Helluva Boss characters.

Octavia also deserves a better dad. She’s also got an actually pretty cool design, she’s just a little silly who has also has a great voice actor!

Also baby Octavia! She’s so cute :). I love her so much and she deserves so much more than Stolas. AND THEN SHE GETS CALLED A COCK BLOCKING SLUT. SHE’S FUCKING 17. Overall I love them, Octavia is just a little silly and Verosika is my queen.

She's living the high life until her kinda failure of an ex comes crawling back to her with demands and a new gf :) too bad she already made a deal with Vader

Piett : middle aged stressed navy woman in uniform (even tho it's the kinda ugly imperial uniform fifkfkfk).

Piett is one of my absolute favorite sw characters ! So thank you fanon, you made something really cool for this one <3

And I adore his friendship with Veers, so they might be a muscle woman also in uniform if you pick his option ;)

Boba Fett : post sarlacc digestion butch booba fett. She's old, she's bald, and she will break your jaw <3

anyone else ever feel bad for ur characters cuz I do even though it is. A drawing. I made Aaron with 3 A’s but the a is silent and invisible months ago but then I made another character and then some guy who’s name rhymes with binfected came around and I straight up gave the base design to him (cuz I think it’s cool and I CAN DO WHAT I WANT AAAAAAAH)

Anyway im just bringing it up cuz it’s kinda neat that people are showing interest in him, cuz he really is just like a mascot for me and my account and I think that’s funny

he was also originally made so I could practice animation and I did that like 3 times before I got bored

@circus-clangen has been one of my favorite clangen challenges to follow. If not my favorite. (I follow on my main, Snailldragon btw. Just to avoid confusion)

The puzzles are really cool and unique, and the humanization of the design while them still being cats is really cool. So I wanted to do a piece of fan art for it.

I hope I captured the vibes right. I thought about going in with some intense shading, but didn’t want to overcrowd it.

Also, not an original character for Circusclan, but bonus art of Bravestar in the sort of designs they do/circus-clan vibes because I haven’t drawn her in forever and I really miss her.

I’ve been calling this version of her Braveact :). She likes bells.

I also made her red instead of orange so she didn’t look too much like Tigertoe lol

Maxie Infodump #1 - Little known character details from official media

I promised to post some of my maxie infodumps and headcannons, and I think I'll start it off with something simple. His official character bio that was hosted originally on the first release of ORAS (this will be ORAS Maxie focused)

here is a transcript for easy reading: "Maxie is the leader of Team Magma, the team seeking a world ideal for humanity. He pays attention to even the smallest of details, and is quite sensitive in some regards. He has a habit of describing situations in numerical terms. He possesses a cool-headed outlook, thinking that some sacrifices cannot be avoided if he is to achieve his goals." Okay, so first, after looking at the original japanese version of this page,

小さいことまで細かく気にする、神経質なところがあり、さまざまなことを数字を交えてあらわすのが口癖。目的を果たすためなら、犠牲が出ても仕方ないと考える冷徹な思想の持ち主でもある。 The one word in here I wanted to be sure of was 'sensitive' since it can have many meanings, and the original japanese gives us some possibilities with:

Personally I think (being) highly strung is the most likely option here, but either way its an interesting character trait. And we all know he certainly builds up frustration and tension and explodes a bit like a volcano. Even if he does manage to correct himself afterwards.

~ ANYWAYS ~

Now that we have the bio, let's break it down a little and look at some fun examples of it in action! Maxie has a habit of describing situations in numerical terms. This typically comes out more when he is nervous or stressed. Here are some examples: Ill just take ORAS as an example here since this is already getting pretty long... In ORAS after fighting him at mt chimney, he lets you know in a specific numerical way, how much he fell behind:

And then again, when you battle with him and lose in the Battle Resort where he just has to let you know the situation in numerical terms by giving you the exact lose chance according to his own calculations of course:

"So the great Maxie has fallen, even when battling alongside your team... I shall commit this curious phenomenon to memory. It had less than a 1 percent probability of occurring, you know."

this culminates in a really interesting interaction between him and courtney after the delta episode. While It's pretty clear that Maxie cares for his team and especially his admins, he definitely struggles when faced with his crying admin, and being unsure of what to say, he settles with a numerical quantifier again.

He assesses the situation, and decides to comment on how MUCH courtney is crying. His "paying attention to even the smallest details" trait also ties into this habit of his, and is probably why he jumps to conclusions a little too early because of small things he's noticed. Accusing Tabitha of wanting his spot as leader, just because he disagreed with him is one of those situations.

Pokemon Masters EX has a lot of new scenes with Maxie, and I would love to talk all day about them, but I'll just pick out one here, and that's from the "A pasio Spectacle" event. In this event, Maxie overhears team break members simply say the word 'glasses' and instantly jumps to the conclusion that not only did they want to talk to him, but that they noticed his "magnificent mega glasses" and would like to hear a lecture on how they were scientifically made.

Perhaps his mega glasses are actually designed to reflect this, because they work like horse blinders, and keep maxie looking straight ahead (trust me, I've made a pair of these, and you cannot see someone standing to your immediate side). Looking straight ahead is also relevant to his life goal, of ensuring the bright future of humanity, and as he says: "propel humanity to greater heights of progress and evolution." And that concludes my infodump regarding this one little bio that is no longer available without the wayback machine, and I just wanted to share it with any other Maxie fans out there :D Next I think I might tackle the bigger topic of how Archie and Maxie have so many fun contrasts in personality and more. and then maaayyybe I'll feel comfortable enough sharing my headcannons and theories. But only if people want more lol, I am not good at writing big posts :>

I’m obsessed with this show and fear a hyperfixation anyways here are my thoughts on every character in the show

Edwin Paine: forever my favorite, even back before the show when I read the comics! I think it’s funny that basically every man in the show wants him? I’m intrigued by his character arc throughout the story regarding his sexuality as despite dying in 1916, he seems to have had time to slowly become more accepting of gay people (I’m guessing in part due to Charles, who is pansexual), to the point where there’s only mild internalized homophobia if at all, which just exhibits itself in him denying any possible feelings for Monty. I love how face-value and logical he is while still being a sweetheart

Charles Rowland: he has a pan flag pin on his jacket which confuses me bc can ghosts only wear clothes they would’ve worn when they were alive, or how do ghost clothes work? Because he died in 1989 and I’m near positive he didn’t wear that pin back there. Anyways I do love him but I wonder about some design choices, like the one earring (not sure why it just kinda annoys me). That was more a rant abt his design than his character, which I have nothing notable to say abt since I LOVE HIM he’s so real

Crystal Palace: sometimes she was a bit annoying the way she was trying way too hard to pry into everyone’s lives, but honestly that was just momentary annoyance since nothing could make me hate her. I love how her past was slowly revealed (as someone who already knew it from the comics) and how she came to terms with the person she used to be vs the person she is now. She’s so cool!

David the demon: honestly kind of caught me off guard at first bc the person I’m dating is named David but I actually enjoyed his character. LOVED when Crystal dealt with him in the end. He was very interesting

Niko Sasaki: I love Niko, but I have some problems with her character. First of all, I feel like ditsy anime-loving cutesy Asian girl with dyed hair is a weirdly common trope? But whatever my main issue is that it feels like characters who normalize the fetishization of gay men are so common. Like if Niko had been a guy obsessed with lesbian manga evb would be weirded out, so why is it different? If we ignore all of this tho I absolutely adore her and I’m actually praying she’s in the next season bc she was one of my favorites (esp her relationship w Edwin)

Jenny: She is so hot and cool and funny I’m in love with her

Esther: oh my god words cannot come close to describing how much I love her character. She felt powerless and weak in the past and now she’s become obsessed with making sure nobody has that power over her ever again. She was so fun and I loved her attitude! I’m sure she won’t show up next season, as she was the main antagonist of s1, and while I love her, I kind of hope she doesn’t since I think her arc was finished.

Monty: His personality was like 2020 “soft boy” who acts nice and dumb but is lowkey a manipulator. So obviously this kind of made me like ☠️ bc why is he acting like that… but I still love him to bits because he’s just a crow guys he didn’t ask to be human,, Anyways yeah his personality annoys me but also I love him so much so? It’s confusing. ITS COMPLICATED. I will cry if he’s not in s2

Kingham and Litty: I honestly thought they were annoying but I can’t lie they were so fucking funny. Every time they were on screen I laughed.

Cat King: oh my god. He is so camp. I love him. There’s honestly not much to say he is simply iconic. Love how he’s afraid to be alone so chases after other people, he’s so real AGHH I love him

Night Nurse: Ruth Connell the woman you are… 😍 she reminds me of Muriel from Good Omens, in a way, and I love her! I really hope we get to see more of her in relation to the guy in the fish, and see her get to better understand human emotions and why they choose to cling onto the human world rather than pass on!

Harriet: she's the one that changed the most, I was inspired by some of her concept art for her outfit (also her hair!! her hairstyle it's from a concept art), i liked the mix of a character with dark colors and a bubbly personality!! for this au, her main thing is ~contrast~, she wears a lot of black but she's a very happy person, she wants to honor her clone mother but at the same time wants to be her own person, enjoys dark and deep media but also loves dumb shows, etc!! also I wanted to give her a theater kid vibe, or at least someone a little bit weird, I hope i achieved that

(leg warmers are just there because they're cute)

Confucius: honestly i really like his oh design!! I think it fits him, at first i was inspired by his concept art but as you can see i kept more of his final design, I gave him that hairstyle because I think it looks cool!! lol, also the big ass headphones, he NEEDED them!! BUT I'm not very happy with his colors, i think I'll completely change him soon 😭😭

Topher: I love his og design too, i only gave him that black, uh, sweater,coat....??? it's because I think it fits him mf thinks he's soooo mysterious, and so I can differentiate him between au topher and og topher!! i changed his pants to match a little bit more the lot of black

abe: the one who changed the most/j, tbh same with topher, I like his og design I think it fits him very well!! but I need to differentiate between au abe and og abe :P

cleo: same with topher and abe...I LOVE HER LH DESIGN SHE'S SO PRETTY BUUUTTTT I need to differentiate between au Cleo and og cleo... ALSO that kind of shirts are trendy rn, and they're so pretty!! so Cleo would def wear them, also the arm things that se wears in s2, beautiful, so I kept them, also she has a necklace with her initial!! (later she wears a F too...)

Joan: it annoys me a little that she doesn't look really goth she looks honestly idk what she looks like, but also i know dressing up as trade goth it's too complicated for a daily routine, so I gave her a more simple goth look! i didn't change much i think, the main thing it's her hair, it's inspired by her prom hairstyle because I think she looks very good in it!! I gave her long sleeves too, and a very dark green long skirt, she still has her boots but you can barely see them

where are frida and jfk??

i think their designs are perfect the way they are, i think it fits them very well

i think it's funny that one of them is very simple and the other super complex

also i don't draw them enough to need to differentiate them, unlike cleo, abe and topher :P

and tbh, i don't know very well what to do with them in the au!! but I'll figure it out soon :)

Aaaahhhh this was really fun but took ages, lol. Pretty happy with how these guys all look, quick explanation of my choices if you want them, although you’re free to disagree lol.

- A lot of my enjoyment of Mistystar comes from personal interpretation or even AUs of the character but that doesn’t negate the fact that’s she’s my favourite.

- I like Berrynose for the same reason he’s commonly disliked; he’s an asshole.

- Ngl when I started reading TBC I wasn’t big on Shadowpaw initially because I was worried he was going to be Alderheart 2.0 and I was happy to be wrong.

- Needleclaw is one of the many victims of being the sister of a male protagonist, I want to see more of her with more consistent characterisation.

- If you’ve read Yellowfang’s Secret you probably already know that Raggedstar is just an awful guy in ways that aren’t really directly addressed.

- I like my Rainflower design a lot even though it differs from canon (why are Crooked and Oaks parents both grey, it irritates me)

- Frostpaw’s cool, but she’s the 20th blue eyed, plain grey, she-cat protagonist, can we please get some torties thanks?

- Flipclaw’s struggles are deeply relatable and he’s just a funny, mellow background character idk.

- CrookedBlue = fun, good chemistry, angst

- StarSky = gross, weird power imbalance, she dated your son, Clear Sky’s the worst, whyyyyy

- I like Spotfur, I think she’s neat, grounded and would have a good although dry sense of humour.

- Idk it’s Bramblestar, what else do I even need to say here.

I know he has a cool design, but I honestly don't see him fitting any of the characters, especially the villains.
