I think it’s really funny how the Garten of Banban characters don’t have eyelids so when they’re passed out or asleep it looks like this:

The Naughty Ones and the Rebellion explained:
I'm seeing a lot of people still confused on the origins of the naughty ones along with how they (including Sir Dadadoo) ended up trapped inside Queen Bouncelia's pouch. So I thought I'd help explain.
Naughty Ones Orgin:
First the naughty ones were created together by Sir Dadadoo and Queen Bouncelia. We learn this in Case #14 Update #15.
Tumblr media
"Given the impressive regenerative properties of Givanium, the expedition team have provided evidence that cases 14 and 18 are using their own genomes to produce cases of their own."
Case #14 being Queen Bouncelia. While Case #18 is Sir Dadadoo.
We know they're Queen Bouncelia's children partially due to a line from Garten of Banban 4:
Tumblr media
Queen Bouncelia: "I think I know. A worried parent can spot another worried parent from a mile away."
The Rebellion:
Note: I added to the reports parentheses () to make it easier to understand which case is each.
The Second half to Case #14 Update #15 reveals:
"Although research on subcases (or cases that have two Givanium-based entities as their donors as defined in the employee handbook) has been minimal, experts predict that these subcases will have identical levels of obedience as their genome donors."
"Cases 9 (Toad Sheriff), 14 (Queen Bouncelia), 17 (Bittergiggle), and 18 (Sir Dadadoo) would not have known this to be possible without insider information, and we believe Case 4 (Syringeon) to be the informer. Predictions show that a rebellion is imminent. We await management's instructions on how to proceed."
Syringeon taught them that they could create cases of their own IE children. The naughty ones were created and a rebellion was planned but failed.
This is shown in Case #14 Update #17 -
Tumblr media
"As per management's request, cases 4 (Syringeon) (now permanently moved to the lower levels), 9 (Sheriff Toadster), 14 (Queen Bouncelia), and 17 (Bittergiggle) were given 24 hours to decide on whether they will proceed with their malevolent plan or completely destroy any and all feats they have achieved this far,"
They were all given the opportunity to cast aside the rebellion except for Sir Dadadoo.
"unbeknownst to case 18 which appears to be the most in favor of said plan."
Although not explicitly stated we know Sir Dadadoo is Case #18 because of multiple scenes.
Tumblr media
Sir Dadadoo: "Consider it part of the payback for what was done to me. Plus I need to make sure history doesn't repeat itself."
Tumblr media
Sir Dadadoo: "Together and under my command, we will finish what the queen couldn't."
We also know Case #17 is Bittergiggle because of this exchange:
Tumblr media
Bittergiggle: "We had no choice. They were going to destroy us all!"
Tumblr media
Sir Dadadoo: "You did have a choice. and you chose wrong."
Due to the fear of death.
"A very violent outcome was hinted at if they had decided to go with the former. As per management's request, we are keeping annihlation of all participanting cases and newly-formed subcases as a last restort, given how financially ruining that option would be."
Behind Sir Dadodoo's back they trapped him and the naughty ones inside Queen Bouncelia's pouch using the scepter to create a temporary peace.
Tumblr media
Sir Dadadoo: "So this is where the key to my prison was stored away."
To prevent any future rebellions they're also checked on regularly.
"An expedition will be dispatched bi-weekly from now on to ensure that cases 4 (Syringeon), 9 (Sheriff Toadster), 14 (Queen Bouncelia), 17 (Bittergiggle), and 18 (Sir Dadadoo) are not getting any unwanted thoughts again."

@jennathearcher Thank you for the Ten characters, ten fandoms tag!
I did cheat a little and do Nine Visual Novel Characters!
Tumblr media
In order from left to right:
1. Meeting In The Flesh (Complete) - In this unique world where everyone lives off salt who will you choose to spend your time with? The world building blew me away to the point I forgot it was an 18+ spicy monster lover game. Also the MC is named Vil and Nonbinary!
https://inkethic.itch.io/meetingintheflesh
2. This Life Escapes Me (Complete) - Very short ten minute visual novel. You’re brought back to life by a necromancer. You have no memory of him but he seems to know you. Very emotional gut punch of a story.
https://coda-blue.itch.io/this-life-escapes-me
3. Trapped with Jester (Complete) - Another short game. You’re trapped with a Jester, how will you react?

Banban Analysis
I think Banban's story is the most interesting part of Garten of Banban and I'm extremely excited to see how it plays out. This discussion is essentially going to breakdown what Banban is and go through some of his behavior in the first four chapters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Banban is the #6 experiment created by combining human genome from one of the doctors named Uthman Adam with Givanium for the upcoming Bring-A-Friend Day.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At the time Case #6 was considered a success outside one flaw. He views himself as human and as the actual Uthman Adam.
Once Case #6 and the real Uthman Adam were introduced to each other this lead to disaster.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As described (in Case Report #13 Update #3) Case #6 has a complete meltdown.
Which results in two things happening:
1. Case #7 named Banbaleena is created.
Tumblr media
Since Dr. Weverly Mason was the only person Case #6 was willing to communicate with it's speculated her genome was used to create Banbaleena. Especially since the real Dr. Uthman and Dr. Mason are close.
While Case #6 and Banbaleena both view themself as their human genome donor only Case #6 was introduced to his.
It's unconfirmed how Case #6 perceives Banbaleena. Either as her human genome donor or something else. Regardless he recognizes something in Banbaleena resulting in their long hug.
Banbaleena helps Case #6 feel less alone however it doesn't change his disobedient and aggressive behavior.
Sidenote while this part is also speculation the parallels felt too similar to not mention:
During Chapter 3 when Case #6 has us make Nabnab a companion he say, "Nabnaleena was that solution. We had a theory that Nabnab was as aggressive as he was due to his loneliness."
While part of the reason we're creating Nabnaleena is because Nabnab is on the hunt making it too dangerous to do anything. I think since Banbaleena helped ease Case #6's loneliness that's part of the reason he has us help finish creating Nabnaleena. As a way to help Nabnab no longer feel lonely.
2. They used a newly-modified Givanium to lower Case #6's ability to self-think.
Tumblr media
We actually witness Case #6 fall victim to his primitive instincts during one of the secret tapes in Chapter 3:
Case #6 is constantly struggling in between an internal battle Uthman Adam (who he perceives himself as) VS Banban (his violent primitive instincts).
After all it's Banban who has it's iconic quote:
Tumblr media
Even though Case #6 has met the actual Uthman Adam he still perceives himself as the real one.
We witness this through countless dialogue. Even during the creation of Nabnaleena this is mentioned. "We had a theory that Nabnab was as aggressive as he was due to his loneliness." Referring to himself as one of the doctors despite the fact Case #6 isn't.
The saddest example being this conversation in Chapter 4.
"I feel now is a good time to introduce ourselves, which we haven't done up to this point if you can believe it. I am Uthman. I worked here before everything came crashing down, literally and figuratively."
"My coworkers and I should've spoken up sooner. Perhaps all of this should've been prevented then. But then again, my coworkers weren't really friends in those last couple of months anyway, so it would've needed some good planning."
"You ever had those friends that suddenly turn on you for no reason? To say mine turned on me would be an understatement. They suddenly stopped talking to me. They looked at me like I was some sort of monster. Sometimes I lose my temper, sure, but it seemed excessive. I was and still am confused, to say the least."
The awful way Case #6 was treated by his "friends" could also explain his behavior in Chapter 2.
"Look, i'm sorry I hit you but you gotta understand I needed something from you that I could only get if you were unconcious and I was all out of sedatives. If you'd seen me, you wouldn't have trusted me, I know it. But there was one thing I didn't lie to you about, and that's me knowing why you're here."
I find Case #6's confusion SO INTERESTING!!! You have a character who knows others view him as a monster yet he cannot understand why. Since when Case #6 looks in a mirror he sees "himself."
While Case #6 holds all of Uthman's memories before his creation.
Who is the ACTUAL Dr. Uthman?
We have these two notes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Along with one letter between Dr. Uthman and Dr. Mason discussing the ball pit which reads, "This thing can barely support the amount of children we have enrolled in the kindergarten. We're having double that tomorrow. Something really bad is going to happen, and we need to be as far away from here as humanly possibly when it does. We've been on the bad side of the wrong people for a long time, and if we're still here when everything goes down, it will be the end of both of us. If not at the hands of angry parents, then at the hands of our superiors."
"A place like this should not exist. The stuff we've witnessed here should not exist. The casualties that will result from this catastrophe will only serve the greater good; which is shutting down this place once and for all."
"I'll have a plan ready for tomorrow. now, you just pack your things."
We don't know if this plan, Bring-A-Friend Day or something else are the result of how things have turned out.
Regardless both Dr. Uthman and Dr. Mason were unable to escape. We don't know what happened to Dr. Uthman but we do know Dr. Mason is currently with our child (from the notes they've left).
Boarding passes found in Chapter 1:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's one MAJOR difference between the real Dr. Uthman and Case #6. Unlike the real Dr. Uthman who was prepared to abandon ship even viewing the potential disaster and casualties as something for the greater good.
Case #6 wants to help and even acknowledges, "My coworkers and I should've spoken up sooner."
While Case #6 may be hiding another ulterior motivate since he retains most memories of Uthman including knowledge of the secret down in the basement.
I think overall he's being honest with his goals mentioned in Chapter 2, "But there was one thing I didn't lie to you about, and that's me knowing why you're here. You're here for your children. I, too, am working towards saving them if you can believe it. But someone else has them. Someone far stronger than you and me both that resides deep in the abyss."
However due to the internal struggle he experiences falling into his violent primitive instincts from the newly-modified Givanium. When control is lost that alters his goals to eating our pancreas.
Case #6 is constantly having to work around himself.
For simplicity in this upcoming section I'm going to refer to regular Case #6 as Uthman and the Violent Instincts as Banban.
Chapter Two
The first Case #6 we meet is in Chapter Two is Banban.
At first tricking in the player and hitting them from behind Banban says, "Three birds with one stone!"
Note: Mr. Kabob Man the statue in Chapter 3 that imitates Banban also says the quote, "Three birds with one stone!"
"I get all of your keycards, I get the perfect specimen AND I don't have to deal with that thing down there. And it's all thanks to YOU! Oh come on, I didn't hit you THAT hard. Or maybe I did. Either way, it's best you take a nap while I prepare for our little surgery."
Despite this they also leaving us a note warning about the attack. However it reads as more of taunt to me.
Tumblr media
While Banban mentions a surgery and using us a specimen nothing actually happens to the player.
Uthman could’ve gained controlled but I think that Banban was possibly prepping things when we woke up earlier then expected.
Since during Banbaleena's class Banban says, "Also teachers, please keep in mind that we are on the lookout for a very, very naughty student believed to be accompanied by a drone. If you catch them, call Principal Banban’s office immediately."
Very very naughty doesn’t feel like something Uthman would call the player.
When we later reunite with Case #6 there's a glass barrier between us. We can tell this is Uthman due to his behavior. He apologizes, is upfront with his goals and informs the player of a way to escape Banbaleena and Jumbo Josh.
Chapter Three
We first encounter Uthman over the speaker system.
"Glad to see you made it! I don't know how you did it, but then again you survived a giant elevator crash so I guess I shouldn't be surprised."
"Also, again, I apologize for hitting you over the head. In fact, it is for this reason that I believe we should not meet face-to-face. You see, for whatever reason I am prone to violent instincts, and I do not trust myself to not give into them again."
"I have locked myself inside of a surveillance room. That way I can help without being a danger to you."
Uthman sticks to his word helping the player throughout the chapter. It's ONLY when brought face-to-face by Stinger Flynn that Case #6's violent instincts come out. Being drawn to the smell of the player's pancreas.
"You can run away, but the smell of your pancreas will always draw me to you . . ."
Resulting in a chase scene and eventually a fight between Jumbo Josh, Banban and Stinger Flynn.
Chapter Four
When you reunite with Uthman in the infirmary he says, "When the Queen mentioned having many new visitors in one day, I knew it had to be you. Listen, whatever happened to me . . . Whatever I tried doing to you . . . Just know it wasn't actually me. I was forced to obey without much thought. I tried communicating with you from afar for a reason. Now you know the true reason why."
"Still, I want to make it up to you. The queen filled me in on the situation with the elevator. I want to help with that. I feel much more in control now. I'll come help you find the missing pieces of the elevator. I just need to rest for a little bit and I'll meet you at whatever that station is."
Which Uthman does until a fight between him and Nabnab breaks out. Which I think is really cool considering Nabnab is his opposite. Both in name and character wise.
Despite Uthman transforming into Banban during the fight he is able to restrain himself. Not attacking us for our pancreas even though we're so close.
Tumblr media
This is the final scene we see Case #6 AND I'M SOOO INVESTED IN HIS STORY AND SEEING HOW IT PLAYS OUT!!!!
Also I like how Case #6 cares deeply for some of the other experiments. Whether it's some form of kinship or out of a sense of duty believing to be partially responsbile for creating them.
Examples of this are:
When Jumbo Josh falls for one of Sheriff Toadster's trap Case #6 comments, "Poor Josh . . . I can't imagine how confusing this has all been for him . . ." Holding no resentment despite the fact they fought in Chapter 3.
In Chapter 4 Case #6 intends to hand over the imposter statue AKA Mr. Kabob Man to someone he describe as, "very close to me." (This is speculated to be Zolphius). Even commenting, "He must've gotten very lonely, but I got him a new friend."
Tumblr media
In Chapter 2 Case #6 indulges in Banbaleena’s behavior. During her class over the speaker he refers to himself as Principal Banban.
I find it interesting the non-human version acts more humane than the real Uthman.

A lot of people feel sad after beating Garten of Banban 6 and I think that’s the point. This chapter was a tragedy EVERYTHING that could’ve gone wrong went wrong.
Queen Bouncelia is still missing/presumed dead.
Sheriff Toadster our partner believes we’ve betrayed him and is now on a self destructive journey. Trusting only in his skewed sense of justice.
Little beak who was once comfortable being carried now runs away from us in fear after having the excess Givanium squeezed out.
Bittergiggle desperate for acceptance and appreciation for his craft submits to the naughty ones becoming part of Sir Dadadoo's army.
A large chunk of the characters are now under Sir Dadadoo’s control.
Nabnab was transformed into a horrifying creature unlike anything we've seen in these games.
Banban sacrifices himself in a last ditch effort to ensure you’re given the chance to find Syringeon.
All these failures combined with Stinger Flynn’s words lingering in the back of our mind.
"This is all happening because of you."
"Never convince yourself otherwise.
Deep down we know it’s not our fault but it's hard to not feel that way.

Why Mr. House pays more for the Snow Globes than the Platinum Chip:
I see a lot of jokes online and people confused about why Mr. House pays more for a Snow Globes than the retrieval of the Platinum Chip.
Especially with how important the Chip is and how he's been waiting 204 years for it.
(ノ^^)ノ I'm going to ramble an explanation on Mr. House's character and why he does this.
Starting from the beginning.
One of Mr. House's biggest character quirks is that he's a MASSIVE stickler for contracts.
In the contract Courier Six signed it says they'll be paid: "Bonus on completion: 250 caps." Which doesn't sound like a lot until you remember this delivery is supposed to be VERY discreet.
Courier Six: "If the Chip's so valuable, why use a single courier to transport it?"
Mr. House: "You realize you were just one of many couriers, the rest of them dummies, so to speak?"
Tumblr media
Mr. House: "Add to that many thousand of caps worth of mercenary protection to screen your avenue of approach."
I know Courier Six still got shot by Benny but Mr. House tried to ensure their travel would be safe.
Mr. House: "Had I used an armed caravan to transport the Chip, I might as well have been announcing to the world "this is important. Attack this!" I didn't want to attract the attention of groups like the Great Khans or the Brotherhood of Steel. Alas, the real threat was closer to home."
You might be thinking well that explains the initial delivery price but why doesn't Mr. House increase it after Benny takes it?
The answer is Courier Six's contact.
Inside the Lucky 38 Mr. House will say.
Mr. House: "My only concern is the recovery of the Platinum Chip. What happens to Benny, I leave to your discretion. When you bring the Chip to me, I will pay you four times the delivery bonus stipulated in your contract. How's that?
Tumblr media
Mr. House: “My offer far exceeds the original terms of your contract, which, I will remind you, already obligate you to deliver the Chip.”
While 1,000 caps is small and nothing to Mr. House. It’s important to consider he’s not wrong.
It’s a 400% increase from your original pay.
Something he feels is generous because you're already contractually obligating to deliver the Chip.
The Contract states: "You are an authorized agent of the Mojave Express Package until delivery is complete and payment has been processed, contractually obligated to complete this transaction and materially responsible for any malfeasance or loss."
(҂ ` ロ ´)凸 Screw my contract!! I got shot in the head!!! You might be thinking.
The Contract's Penalties mention: “Failure to deliver the proper recipient may result in forfeiture of your advance and bonus, criminal charges, and/or pursuit by mercenary reclamation teams.”
Even if you ignore your contact Mr. House won't.
Mr. House: "No, you haven't. This is the second time you've promised to deliver the Platinum Chip. Even if you don't hold yourself to your promises, I will."
When giving the bonus Mr. House is attempting to incentivize the player.
If Courier Six has a Barter 50 Skill they can counter:
"It's a good start . . . but well below market price."
Tumblr media
Mr House: "Very well, five times the bonus. {with finality} Not one cap more."
Even after bartering this amount is still well below the market price (remember this for later).
If the player fails the barter.
Mr. House: "Is that an attempt at. . . {beat} {distaste} humor?" I've always taken business negotiation seriously. I advise you to do the same."
If you try to renegotiate after retrieving the Platinum Chip from Benny he'll say.
Mr. House: "Our terms were clear. Now that you have the Chip in your possession, any attempt to "re-negotiate" payment would be tantamount to blackmail."
Tumblr media
If you still refuse but eventually cave he'll respond.
Mr. House: "You're fortunate that I have a certain {beat} tolerance for greed. I expect my business partners to be self-interested but {unlike you} smartly so."
If you take the negotiations seriously like Mr. House he will increase you bonus pay within reason.
He's not going to raise is to a 10,000 caps since that’d be a 4,000% mark up. Even just raising it to match the price of one Snow Globes would be 800%.
(ㆆ_ㆆ) You still might be thinking . . .
WHY CARE ABOUT THE CONTRACT!??!? THE CHIP IS WORTH MORE THEN A 4,000% PAY INCREASE!!!! IT'S IRREPLACEABLE SO WHY DOESN'T HE JUST COUGH UP THE MONEY!!?!??
This line perfectly explains Mr. House’s mindset.
Mr. House: "You have a contract to fulfill, a delivery to make. If you can't hold to a contract, simply for the ethic of holding to a contract, you're worthless to me."
Mr. House is TESTING YOU!!!!!
He's ALWAYS testing you to see if you're the perfect replacement for the job he originally planned for Benny to have.
Mr. House: "To achieve my aims, I require a capable human agent to perform certain... {choosing word} tasks."
If Courier Six can't stick to their word and fulfill a contract they signed in good faith. Even if that contact is less beneficial to them. Even if the bonus pay is well below market price.
Then they're not someone Mr. House wants to work with.
This post goes into more example of him testing you:
https://www.tumblr.com/maddymoreau/741007168343588864/veronicaroyce-it-always-bothered-me-that-mr?source=share
That's why the maximum offer Mr. House is willing to negotiate for the retrieval of the Chip is 1,250 caps.
Tumblr media
After all if you succeed and work for him the rewards will be immense.
Mr. House: "I'm not offering you an incentive as crude as money - though there'll be plenty of that. What I'm offering you is a ground-floor opportunity in the most important enterprise on Earth. What I'm offering is a future - for you, and for what remains of the human race."
As for the Snow Globes they're a luxury item Mr. House is offering a base price of 2,000 caps for.
There's no contract, no test and no negotiating the price. Only seven exist within the base of the game. The other four are outside the Mojave in dangerous locations like the Sierra Madre and Big MT.
Tumblr media
٩( ^ᗜ^)و ´- Mr. House simply likes them and is willing to pay you a high price for a rare item.

Fallout New Vegas Lucky 38 Presidential Suite Sleeping Arrangement Headcanons:
I've been thinking about how the sleeping arrangement would work, since there are only three beds and six couches in the Lucky 38’s Presidential Suite.
Here’s what I imagine:
Veronica Santangelo and Rose of Sharon Cassidy:
Tumblr media
In the smaller bedroom to the left, Veronica and Cass share this bed together. Veronica is used to sleeping close to someone since she grew up in a bunker. While Cass has slept in worse conditions while traveling for her caravan work. So neither mind sharing.
Sometimes sleeping next to Cass makes Veronica think of Christine.
If Cass is up late drinking or can’t sleep (she finds the Lucky 38 creepy) then she’ll drink until she's knocked out. Sleeping on one of the empty couches or while sitting at the kitchen table.
Lily Bowen:
Tumblr media
Lily sleeps by herself on the bed next to Veronica and Cass'. Since she's too large to use a couch and takes up an entire bed by herself. Everyone has woken up before to Lily listening to the holotape of her grandchildren, but no one is ever bothered by it. Lily has also tucked everyone at least once into bed.
Craig Boone:
Tumblr media
Boone ALWAYS sleeps on the couch. He’s used to sleeping in uncomfortable positions due to his NCR work, so he doesn’t mind. I think he'd also feel guilty taking a bed. Also, he doesn't want to share a bed with anyone else because the last person he did that with was Carla.
He usually likes the couch next to the pool table since it faces the Lucky 38's elevators. However, if Cass falls alseep there after drinking a little too much, then Boone will take a different couch.
Rex:
Rex changes where and who he sleeps every night, but whenever he sleeps with Boone it’s like this:
Tumblr media
Raul Tejada, Arcade Gannon and My Courier Six:
Raul, Arcade and her all share the main big bedroom.
Tumblr media
Usually Raul and Courier Six share the bed with ED-E (and sometimes Rex) in the middle. Raul will 100% play the arthritis and old man card.
Despite ghouls being described as gross/smelly, even Raul describes it "stink like a public toilet after Cinco de Mayo". Courier Six isn't bothered by it and doesn't mind sleeping next to him.
Actually, during the two years she worked as a courier she slept alone in many dangerous places. So, now being able to sleep next to someone makes her feel safe and happy.
Arcade usually takes the two couches and pushes them together. It's never comfortable, but he would rather do that than share a bed. His height makes sleeping on the couches difficult.
Arcade LMAO:
Tumblr media
When Courier Six and Raul are gone he gets some of the BEST sleep in his life. The Presidential Suite beds are probably one of the few times in the Mojave he's found a bed that fits someone his height.
If Raul and Courier Six return late and Arcade is sleeping they'll just let him have the bed and sleep on the couches normally.
ED-E:
99% of the time ED-E is snuggling Courier Six. However if she's gone he'll either lay next to wherever Rex has settled, intentional sleep near Arcade to annoy him or just float by the elevator waiting for her return.
Courier Six snuggles ED-E like this:
